I want to start with… I want to start with what’s his name? James James Comey. I want to start with James Comey. Did you guys hear? And I promise you, I will get to Zelensky. I will get to NATO. I will get to all of that good stuff. I’ll get to it a little later in the program. I know that you’ve already heard a lot of it thus far, and I will give you my take on that. Essentially, what I believe that what President Trump is doing is making Europe strong again. thereby making the West strong again. And so I want to get into that, and I want to talk about that from more of a philosophical viewpoint, if you will, and a biblical worldview, if you will. So I look forward to talking about that. But I want to start with something that I thought was very interesting, and I know you guys all saw it yesterday and heard it yesterday. And like me, you thought, is this guy going cray-cray? Has he gone cray cray? Let’s go ahead and play this cut and then I’ll react to it. And I want to take you to the people that are or talk about the people that are real threats to the so-called democracy. We actually live in a representative republic or a democratic republic, if you will. But the left loves throwing that term around threat to democracy. And what they try and do and say at every venture that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. And what I’m going to do, thanks to Victor Davis Hanson, is take you back on a trip down memory lane. And we’re going to expose who the real threats to this Democratic Republic are. And they happen to be part of the deep state. They happen to be part of the Democrat Party. However. Let’s take you to the narcissist himself, James Comey. This is cut number five. Por favor, Eric Hansen.

Of course we need to stand up to jerks and defend what matters. But I think we have to try to do that without becoming like them, which is what makes me think about Taylor Swift. She’s made clear that she sees Donald Trump for what he is, while our elderly makeup-covered president is posting about whether Taylor Swift is still hot and declaring that he can’t stand her. What’s she doing? Living her best life. She said something about dealing with internet trolls that stuck with me. Think of your energy as if it’s expensive, she said. As if it’s like a luxury item. Not everyone can afford it. We can’t stop people from being jerks. What we can do is stop it from hurting us. From changing us.

Not exactly the Apostle Paul, Socrates, or Plato, but Taylor Swift is who James Comey decides to quote. Guys, this is just weird. And I had some thoughts in my head, just like many of you did, and I’m like, man, this guy is nuts. This guy is a complete and utter narcissist. Maybe some of you in the listening audience thought just like me. Okay, this guy is trying to curry as much favor as possible with the population that So that when he does get in trouble, now I’m not saying the guy is going to be cuffed. For everybody that believes that Comey is going to go to jail, I just don’t know that to be true. I want him to go to jail. I believe that he should be cuffed. I believe that he should be perp walked. I’m just not necessarily convinced that it’s going to happen. I’m praying that it does happen because I’m tired of this two-tier justice system. But then I got to say, my wife put a thought in my head that I didn’t think about before. This guy is a narcissist. All right. He is part of the I know at one time he was a registered Republican. I’ve also heard that he was associated with the Communist Party, just like former CIA director John Brennan. And so my wife dropped this thought in my head that maybe this guy is preparing for his own bid to run for the presidency on the Democratic ticket. And I’m like, I don’t know. I don’t know. But the more I thought about it, I’m like, would any of you be surprised? Would anyone in the listening audience be surprised? I mean, whom else do they have? Greasy Newsome? Beto O’Rourke? White guy pretending to be a Latino? Pete Buttigieg that cannot, for the life of him, get any support from the black community, trying to look like a tough guy with a beard, growing a beard, absolutely destroyed the Department of Transportation and was already in bad shape. Now the Trump administration is having to repair that, fix up their mess. Is it going to be any one of these guys? Kamala Harris? Kamala Harris, I’m going to say it right now. Kamala Harris is not going to be running in 2028. It is not going to happen. It’s not going to happen. It simply isn’t. It just isn’t going to happen. She’s not good at all at what she does. She’s not bright. She’s not smart. She can’t handle the limelight. She raised over a billion dollars, nearly $2 billion, and blew it all and ended up $20 million in debt with her campaign. It’s definitely not going to be Kamala Harris. It’s just not. It’s absolutely insane to me. But James Comey? James Comey? You never know. You never know. I want to do this. James Comey is a big part of this because the left always says that Trump is a threat to democracy. And trust me, I’m going somewhere with this. We’ll talk about the illegal alien that killed three people in my state of Florida. Everybody’s talking about it. I’ll give my take. I’ll give my take on that. President Trump is talking about he wants to end mail-in ballots. I agree with him totally. I think that is a great idea. This guy is always putting Democrats on their heels. He’s always putting Democrats on the defense, and I absolutely love that about him. But let’s talk about the people that are the real threats to the Democratic Republic. If you’re listening for the first time, you happen to be liberal, you happen to be Democrat, it’s important for you to understand, it’s important for you to know that we don’t live in a democracy. Democracy is mob rule. Our founders were absolutely brilliant. Young men, brilliant men, most of them Christians, most of them people of faith, many of them deists. or agnostics, but at least had enough sense to understand that they needed a power greater than them if they were going to create this exceptional nation, this exceptional experiment that we call the United States of America. This is something that they got. But the left constantly wants to say the Republican Party, Donald Trump, conservatives, you guys are a threat to democracy. No, no. So Victor Davis Hanson starts off like this. Destroying democracy, quote unquote, the latest theme of the left can be defined in many different ways. I’m going to have to cover this. I’ll start now and I’ll cover some of this after the break. Guys, your jaw will drop if you just understand what you’ve endured for the last few years, several years under the Democratic regime. You can’t believe it because the media never talks about it. These people talk about destroying the Constitution or the threat to democracy. I’m going to I’m going to blow that nonsense out of the water. They are the threat to the Democratic Republic. The Democrat Party is. We’ve got to stop them at every level. And I’m just going to tie these stories in. The Democrats’ destructive fixations, as Victor Davis Hanson writes. And as I make my points, what I’ll do for the remainder of the show, I’m more of an ADD guy, all right? So I like bringing news as it comes. Actually, Tracy has been, as more news has been breaking recently, Tracy has been sharing breaking news with me, printing more stuff out. And then she’s like, Carl, if you don’t want to use it, don’t use it. And I’m like, it works fine. Actually, Tracy, it works perfect with my ADHD. So just so you know, because I don’t believe that a lot of these political stories exist in the vacuum, in a vacuum. I don’t believe that they’re disconnected. I believe that you connect the dots, whether it’s cultural issues, whether it’s foreign policy, whether it’s domestic policy. All of these things are intertwined. All of them are interlinked. And we’ve got to fight on all fronts in order to preserve the United States of America and in order to preserve Western civilization. I believe that’s how it works. I really do. I really do. So a Texas Democratic legislature legislator to stay in the state capitol after refusing law enforcement escort to leave. This is one of the latest things. And again, this is why I tell you the left. It isn’t the Republican Party that’s a threat to democracy or the Democratic Republic, since we don’t live in a democracy. A democracy would be mob rule, majority rule. That’s not what we want. That’s not what we need in the United States of America. It isn’t what made this country great. What made this country great is our Constitution, is our Bill of Rights. And it’s a different system entirely. So I’ll just share some of these stories as we go along, and I am going to get into the Trump-Zelensky meeting. And I just want to say this as a tease. I thought about this, and I wrote this down because even conservatives sometimes were guilty of this, but Democrats for sure. But when you consider the war in Ukraine, When you consider the war in Ukraine, when you consider Russia or Putin invading and trying to take back territory in Ukraine, territory that, frankly, old school KGB guy, he wants the USSR to be the USSR again instead of just Russia. And so he wants to take some territory back. He got some people that live in the area that may want the same, may not want the same. One thing I do want to dispel, a lot of people out there believe that Vladimir Putin is down with Christians. He’s a communist, guys. Don’t believe that nonsense. Actually, one of the churches out there in Russia that actually operates in Russia and Ukraine, they call it a Christian church. They’re actually there to persecute Christians. So a lot of conservatives have bought into that nonsense. Let’s use common sense, conservatives. Communists don’t like Christians. Putin doesn’t like Christians. He’ll play the role. As long as he feels safe. So let’s not buy into the nonsense. Let’s not lionize this guy. This guy is evil. But I will say this. The more I thought about it, it isn’t just Biden and the Democrat Party that are to blame for the Russia-Ukraine war. You see all these pundits on TV and on radio. Actually, not a lot of people. Not a lot of lefties on radio because people don’t listen to them. But you see a lot of these pundits on TV blaming Trump. This is Biden’s war. This is Biden’s war. I’ll go a step further. This is Europe’s war. Not in the way that all conservatives have been expressing it. Let me explain what I mean. And I realize Trump is trying to come in, and Trump is the big brother. He’s trying to save Western civilization. I don’t want Americans to get tied up into war in Ukraine. I like what President Trump did already with the rare earths mineral deal. I like that. And again, I’m going to go back and forth with some of these stories, so just hold tight with me. if you will. But I thought about something. So Biden isn’t the only one to blame when it comes to this war in Ukraine. The Democrat Party is. Now they’re trying to blame Trump for a war that they started, quite frankly. Oh, well, Putin started it. I know Putin invaded it. I know Putin invaded it. Why? Why? Why did he invade? There’s a lot of history there. I don’t have the time to go into the details and specificity, but in short, I will say this. He wants to expand Russia to what it used to be. He saw weakness in the West, not just America, in the West. I think Biden wanted that war to happen because I think Biden wanted to run on it. But the Afghanistan debacle just destroyed it. Obviously, the Afghanistan thing happened first. When Putin invaded, Putin saw that. Hey, now’s my time. This is the time to expand. And he knew that the dementia patient in the White House at the time wasn’t going to do anything about it. What else did he know? And I don’t think this gets talked about ever. Let me put it in this way, and this is going to offend some of you guys, but that’s what I get paid to do. So I’ll do it. I’ll do it. All right. Let me put it this way. If Europeans were as big of nationalists As Trump is, this is the part that’s going to offend you. And as Putin is, there wouldn’t have been a war in Ukraine. Let me say that again because, Tracy, I had to think about that for a long time. But I really mean it. If the Europeans were as big of nationalists as President Trump is, as President Putin is, Russia would have never invaded Ukraine. We’ve been talking about this meeting with Trump and Zelensky. But what we haven’t talked about is why it’s necessary in the first place. It’s because the West is weak. Europeans, they’re used to being invaded. So they didn’t do anything to stop Russia. I hope the Americans see this. Probably one of his biggest foreign policy successes of his president, of Trump 47, is that during the NATO summit, we committed collectively to this 5% spending, including 3.5% on the core defense spending. That’s the same the US spending. He always said that he supported NATO, but he also expected the Europeans to pay up, to spend more. He has been successful in doing this. So today, The conversation was a conversation among friends, among close allies who respect each other, who like each other, who know each other very well, discussing how we can bring this terrible war to an end. And this is a goal we all have in common. And without President Trump, this deadlock with Putin would not have been broken. He was the only one who could do this, starting in February.

Remember when all these people, you would watch all these liberals have the Ukrainian flag, posting it everywhere, on their cars, outside. They wouldn’t hang the American flag outside their front door, but they’d hang a freaking Ukrainian flag. And listen, I have no problem against the Ukrainian people, but you understand that that was just virtue signaling. The person that is responsible, if it occurs, for bringing peace… between Russia and Ukraine will be President Trump. Listen, guys, I am so iffy about our NATO allies. I hate to say this. Trump is giving them a spine, giving them a backbone, helping them to realize, guys, you have national interests as well. You’re gonna lose your nations, you’re gonna lose your culture, The the Russia invasion in Ukraine is emblematic of the problems that exist on the front doors of our European allies. These people are used to invasions. Look at what’s happening in their countries. The UK and France, they come out and, you know, they want to they want to be down with the Palestinians, a nation state that doesn’t even exist. They want to scold Israelis. It’s absolutely insane. They’re weak. You needed a strong man. Whether you like America or not, God has given us a divine purpose. And I believe Trump, even though I don’t always agree with everything, but I do believe he’s on a divine mission. He’s on a divine mission to save the West. You even got Zelensky. Even got Zelensky dressing up, wearing a suit, looking nice. That’s not a small thing. That’s not a small thing. That’s President Trump understanding the leverage and power of the United States of America and using it for good. Exactly what our founders intended. There’s going to be a trilateral meeting. Frankly, I’m a little nervous about this because the Article 5 guarantees essentially makes Ukraine a NATO ally, in my opinion. I like the rare earths mineral deal a little better, quite frankly. But I think President Trump’s goal, again… is to make our European allies strong again. Dare I say, to make them nationalists. If they become nationalists, you won’t have to worry about an invasion of Ukraine by Russia. We’ll be back.

I’ve been making the case that the Democrat Party is the party that actually is a threat to the Democratic Republic. All right. Or the representative republic. That’s what we have. We don’t have a democracy. That is mob rule. But Victor Davis Hanson, again, wrote a great column at Am Greatness. Am Greatness also had real clear politics. You could find it entitled Democrats should abandon their self-destructive fixations. Now, I would argue that Democrats aren’t going to abandon their self-destructive fixations because they don’t know anything else. They really don’t. I mean, the party, the Democrat Party, has gone so far left, they simply don’t realize how radical they’ve become and out of the mainstream. It’s one of the reasons why I love the fact that Trump, and I’ll get into this in this hour, is finally bringing attention to the mail-in ballot issue. He’s brought attention to the D.C. crime issues. It turns out the police union and the Metro Police Union in D.C. are saying, listen, Crime is already down significantly in D.C. in just a matter of days. Imagine that. All it took is for people that actually wanted to enforce the laws that are already on the books. That are already on the books. You shouldn’t feel like a hostage in your communities. You need more policing. Are there going to be some bad police officers? Sure. By and large, as a whole, we need law enforcement. Without safety, there’s no prosperity. It’s really as simple as that. I don’t even recall where. Perhaps it was on the tip sheet this morning. I was just reading through. I read through so much stuff. It’s pretty insane sometimes. But I was just reading about this big, huge mall that’s closing down in San Francisco. Started with COVID lockdowns, crime and all this kind of stuff. Just apparently a humongous piece of property that’s just absolutely abandoned. They don’t have safety. The economic conditions in San Francisco used to be one of the greatest cities, not just in the United States, in the entire world. The left destroyed it. We’re watching that with L.A. We’re watching that with New York City. We’re watching that with Chicago. So Trump is on a mission not just to save the United States of America, but to save the West. And I believe that wholeheartedly. This isn’t just a I’m a Trump fanboy argument. It is. I do believe the more that I think about it, I don’t think he’s just saving America in a sense. He’s saving the West. You know, Vladimir Putin. I was reading in the Federal Defense of Democracies, FDD.org. But one of the consolations, if you will, that Vladimir Putin wants. Let me just read through. Forgive me for those of you that are watching on the Salem News Channel. Sometimes I’m going to have to look down on my notes. I have so many of them. But Putin’s demands include what Trump told the European leaders anyway, is that Putin had agreed to end the war in Ukraine. in exchange for Ukraine ceding the remaining parts of Donetsk, Luhansk provinces that are not currently under Russian occupation. If I understand correctly, and perhaps I’m mistaken, you’re talking about 1% more. I believe I heard Mark Thiessen say this. I believe he’s a Fox News contributor. I believe I heard him say this. You’re talking about 1% more of territory than Russia has gained already. And he saw it as a good deal. I shouldn’t put it that way. I shouldn’t put it that way. It’s only now, under the Trump administration… that our European allies, and I use the term allies loosely, that our European allies are building up their forces or spending on their military forces. They’re upping that. At first, Trump had to get them to up it to 2%. That was during his first administration, if I recall correctly. Now he’s getting them to up some of their spending to 5% because they’re not nationalists. Trump is trying to convince Europe to save Europe in order to save the West. I realize not every place in the West even is America. They don’t have the same values in parts of Europe that we have here in the United States. But they used to have a value system that absolutely embraced freedom, that embraced individuality. Not as much anymore. They’ve kind of become, that’s why people can invade these countries in Europe, Islamists, and flip them around. And Trump is trying to get them to understand, hey, man, obviously these aren’t the words he’s using, but these are my words. You’ve got to be nationalists. You’ve got to be nationalists. You’ve got to respect your heritage. You’ve got to respect your country. And secure your country. That’s the only way to make it strong. Again, I contend that this wouldn’t be an issue were it not for the Democrats. We would have never had Biden’s war in Ukraine or against Ukraine were it not for the Democrats. That’s what they want to do. 30 people, including the eight suspected members of Trende Aragua gang, are facing federal drug trafficking, firearms offenses, and murder for hire charges. Wow, that’s nice. After a months-long undercover operation based out of a troubled rural apartment complex. We all saw the video of that. On Monday, U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado Peter McNeely said in a release that 30 individuals, including gang members from a designated foreign terrorist organization, are facing several charges from two federal indictments. A 39-count indictment charges 28 defendants with firearms trafficking, using firearms to commit drug trafficking crimes, possession of firearms and ammunition by illegal aliens, and trafficking controlled substances, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and 2C, or pink powder that contains a variety of controlled substances like ketamine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. Five of the defendants were charged with conspiracy. Five out of 30 were indicted for trying to commit murder for hire. Let that sink in. What have we done to our country? What have we done to our country? I mean, this is absolutely insane. You guys notice that even many of the immigrants that we are getting illegal and some legal. Look at the Mahmoud Khalil’s.
