Join Mike Gallagher as he navigates the turbulent waters of modern American politics. This episode dives into the ongoing unrest in Minneapolis, highlighting the political and social ramifications of civil unrest and law enforcement tactics. Gallagher offers his critical take on President Trump’s potential acquisition of Greenland, discussing its strategic implications and the possible political fallout ahead of the midterms. With insightful analysis and engaging discussions, Gallagher sheds light on the pressing issues facing America today.
SPEAKER 10 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 09 :
I know most of the headlines today are still Minneapolis. Once again, more violence last night. More chaos. Still waiting for the mayor or the governor to… step up and say don’t act violently, don’t attack ICE officers, respect law enforcement. I think we’re going to be waiting a long time for that to happen. But meanwhile, other things are getting done, including the president calling on Congress to enact his great health care plan. And it’s a multi-tiered approach to lower prescription drug prices and using international price matching, cutting insurance premiums by ending insurer kickbacks, sending money directly to the people to buy their own health care coverage, expanding over-the-counter drug access in order to boost competition, force hospitals and insurers to post clear prices, make insurers disclose denial rates and profit margins, crack down on pharmacy middlemen who inflate costs. and emphasize consumer choice and market consumption. That’s what President Trump calls the great health care plan. It feels like we’re going to be in a race to November, doesn’t it? We’re going to have to see whether or not the American people are going to be smart, do the right thing, or hand the keys to the kingdom back over to the lunatic Democrats who who have created such a mess in our country. I’d like to believe Minneapolis is a real crossroads. It’s that flashpoint where normal Americans can look at that and say, wait a minute, this isn’t law enforcement’s fault. Why do you think Minneapolis is the only city where all of this civil unrest is happening? It’s not happening anywhere else. You want to know why? Because Minneapolis is fertile ground for lunatic leftists to commit acts of violence because they oppose the deportation of illegal immigrants. And Democrats are seasoned on this because they think they’ve got a great distraction for the American people. I had a great exchange today with Mark Davis in Dallas where Mark pushed back when I said… Acquiring Greenland is not really high on my wish list. Apparently, this is something the president wants to do. He’s moving forward with acquiring Greenland. He’s going to have technical talks with Danish and Greenland officials. Of course, it impacts China and Russia in a big way. Strategically, I know it makes a lot of sense, and I do trust Trump. Heck, I trust him so much you can get Trust Trump merch on my website. Go to MikeOnline.com. You can get coffee mugs and bumper stickers and T-shirts with that very simple reminder. Trust Trump. He knows what he’s doing. Politically speaking, what does it mean if we acquire Greenland, if we take over a country that doesn’t want to be taken over? Let’s be honest. Most Americans don’t seem to be in favor of acquiring Greenland right now. Now, for what it’s worth, here’s a CNN report about polling data and what Americans think. want to do.
SPEAKER 03 :
As European troops arrive in Greenland today in the wake of President Trump’s threat to potentially take the Ireland nation by force, a new CNN poll finds that most Americans are broadly against the U.S. taking control of Greenland in any way. Only 25% say they favor the idea. An overwhelming majority, 75%, say they oppose it.
SPEAKER 09 :
Now, Jake Tapper, of course, has to put in his own leftist spin and say take it over by force. I don’t believe President Trump wants to take Greenland by force. I expect that he would do a negotiation of some kind. NATO troops are now likely to be a more permanent presence on Greenland. Several European countries joined Denmark in sending soldiers to boost security there. Germany, the UK, France, Finland, and the Netherlands said they would make modest troop deployments. But people are taking this very seriously. People are understanding if Trump wants to do this, this is something that we might just wind up doing. And I’m not going to deceive you. I speak from the heart on this show. And my heart tells me it’s a very bad idea. Instinctively, I think it hurts Trump and the Republicans in the midterms. And that’s the lens with which I view this. You want to acquire Greenland? How about you wait until mid-November, okay? Can we get to the midterms? Can we make sure that Republicans continue to control the House and the Senate and we can continue to complete the job that we sent Trump to Washington to do? I get all the strategic advantages. You don’t need to tell me how good it would be for us With the mineral rights and all the mineral-rich territory, strategically it’s better. It positions us better against China and Russia. I get all of that. I get all of that. I get all of that. You don’t need to call and tell me that. What I care about is winning in November. What I care about is Americans winning. embracing Trump’s agenda. What I care about is victory. And anything that can distract, dissuade, or discourage people from going into the voting booth and casting a ballot for Republicans in November is not productive. But let me turn it over to you, 800-655-MIKE. Welcome aboard. Happy Friday. It’s January 16th, 2026. Glad to have you here in the Relief Factor studios. I want to put your voice front and center. So join us. I mean, look, again, if your argument is strategically it’s a good idea to acquire Greenland, you’re not going to get any argument from me. But what about the political ramifications? What about the optics? What about the midterms? Let’s see what you think. 800-655-MIKE. One number does it all. Call or text. Join us here on the Mike Gallagher Show, 800-655-6453. SPEAKER 09 :
I’m so ashamed of myself. I got a report last night. I’m such a petty, shallow, stupid guy. My wife used to say, Gallagher, you are a little, little man. I heard her voice in my head last night. I got passed over for something. I’m not going to tell you what it is. I don’t want to embarrass anybody. I don’t want to cause problems for anybody. It’s a place that I used to love and know well. and I thought I was going to do something this past November, December, and I got passed over. They picked somebody else instead of me to do something that I was pretty excited about doing. And it was funny because I thought, does that make a lot of sense? I think I’m good at this particular responsibility. And even the people there, there’s all new people there. So they don’t really know me very well and everything. Anyhow, long story short, the person that they picked evidently was a disaster. And I don’t mean to make fun. I just don’t. I hate that. Because, you know, it’s not fair to that particular place. But that’s how petty I am. I’m like, well, you dummies, you should have picked me and it would have been fine. And the person they picked, because evidently the person in the position of responsibility tasked with making those decisions, they were all buddy-buddy and they just wanted to have the friend in that particular position. So they picked that person and suffice to say, based on what I heard last night, it didn’t really work out very well. And I was kind of glad. I was thinking, I hung the phone up and I thought, Well, that’ll show them. And then I was ashamed of myself because that’s petty and that’s shallow. And it’s too bad because they kind of fractured my relationship with them. I’m never going to, you know, have anything to do with them again. I mean, again, it’s all new people and they’re woke. They’re kind of some woke people. I wonder if people can figure out what I’m talking about. You probably can. Especially if you know where I’m talking about where this happened. Joey told me, he says, you won’t be able to keep your mouth shut about this. I said, no, I’m going to do good. I’m not going to bring it up. But when I heard last night, because I was curious, I thought, well, maybe this person that was picked instead of me did a fantastic job and, you know, was better than me. No, no, no, no, no, no. It didn’t really work out. And it was kind of a, it was a fail. But anyhow, I am curious. If you know what I’m talking about, text me. And I’ll text you back if you have guessed what I’m talking about. Because I’ll bet you there are some sharp-eared, sharp-eyed members of the audience who know what I’m referring to. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it when it happened. I mean, I was disappointed. I thought, oh, come on, really? You’re not going to use me? I’m pretty good. And I’ve got a platform. Got the number one platform. literally the number one radio show in the entire market, and I’ll be talking about it, you’ll get a lot of attention. But anyway, oh boy, people already did guess. Yep, you guessed. You guessed. Some of you guessed. All right. Yes, South Carolina, you’re right. West Virginia, yep, you’re right. All right, let me move on. Incidentally, to those who are texting on the text line about Greenland being a territory, not like the 51st state, you’re right, I get that. I understand that it would likely, there wouldn’t be a voting bloc. It would probably be like Puerto Rico. But Puerto Rico has representation in Congress. Greenland, I guess, would have representation. What kind of politician is going to represent Greenland? And I just wonder if, I mean, here’s Caroline Leavitt yesterday making it very clear from the, here’s the White House press secretary making it very clear that Trump wants the United States to acquire Greenland.
SPEAKER 04 :
On the subject of Greenland, Jeff Landry, the president’s special envoy for Greenland, wasn’t in the White House meeting yesterday. Can you say why that was and what exactly the role he is playing in these conversations about acquiring Greenland?
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, the vice president and the secretary of state were present for that meeting. And the meeting, it was a productive meeting. It was a good meeting. And in that meeting, the two sides agreed to really establish a working group of individuals who will continue to have technical talks on the acquisition of Greenland. Those talks will take place, I’m told, every two to three weeks. So this is a conversation the administration intends to keep having with the Danes and with the respected delegation from Greenland. But the president has made his priority quite clear. He wants the United States to acquire Greenland. national security to do that.
SPEAKER 09 :
And it absolutely is. I’m not disputing. It’s in our best interests to acquire Greenland. Many would say optics shouldn’t matter. But they do. And they will. And we got an election coming in a few months that we’ve got to win. Um… 800-655-MIKE. And thank you, Louisville. What a nice… I’m stunned at how many people know exactly what I’m talking about. I thought I was kind of vague. Tracy, did you know right away what I was talking about? I mean, everybody knows, apparently. And I shouldn’t have opened my big yap. But I like this text from Louisville. They sent me a meme. Because I shouldn’t have been pleased that the person that was chosen over me apparently wasn’t all that great. Louisville writes, you’re only human, Mike. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Love you. And the meme says, people are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you’re kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you’re successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you’re honest and sincere, people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. When you spend years creating, others could question what you’re doing. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have and it’ll never be enough. Give your best anyway. And in the final analysis, it’s between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway. Isn’t that good? I like that a lot. Charlie’s in Asheville, North Carolina. 19 minutes before the hour, number is 800-655-MIKE. Hey, Charlie, welcome aboard. How are you?
SPEAKER 07 :
Hey, Mike, I’m great. How are you today?
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m good.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m good. Appreciate your call. Great. Well, you know, we were earlier talking about Vance and Rubio possibly being in competition for the next slot. I’m thinking more like Vance head Texas. And I think the reason that Rubio is kind of going with Trump to the thing and all that, they’re trying to keep them kind of separate because tensions are a little high right now. Tensions between who? On the same place. I mean, on the president himself. Yeah, I mean, the threat’s kind of high. They don’t want to put Vance and Trump in the same spot, right?
SPEAKER 09 :
Right. But you see the ticket being J.D. Vance and Pete Hegseth, not J.D. Vance and Marco Rubio?
SPEAKER 07 :
I would love to see that because I love Rubio in the spot that he’s in. I mean, he’s doing good work. So, yeah, I’d love to see Hegseth and Vance.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right. Let’s see what others say. Appreciate the call. Thank you very much, Charlie. Look, at the end of the day, look, I’ve said this the last few weeks. Something about Marco Rubio has captivated America’s attention. You don’t hear ever, you never hear anything negative about Marco Rubio. You absolutely hear nothing but praise universally for Marco Rubio, the former senator from Florida. But, you know, you don’t hear a lot of negative about J.D. Vance either, right? 800-655-MIKE. Ralph’s in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Hey, Ralph, welcome aboard. How are you?
SPEAKER 06 :
I’m good. A long-time listener. I’ve listened to you since you were driving the van down I-85 with a pellet gun sniper. That’s a long time.
SPEAKER 09 :
You’ve got a good memory. That was a long time ago. Johnny Mac Brown never forgave me for that, Ralph.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, I can understand why. I said, that’s crazy. But the crazy man has done a good job for himself over the years.
SPEAKER 09 :
Thank you. Thank you. I’ll tell that story here in a couple minutes because that was when I did a stunt early on in my career there in the upstate of South Carolina. So thanks for reminding me about that. But tell me what your take is on Trump’s desire to acquire Greenland.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, knowing a little bit how Trump thinks, Trump is able to maneuver people to do what he wants. I think he’s maneuvering the EU, particularly NATO, into more involvement in Greenland to protect it against Russia and China without the United States having to be that heavily involved.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, yeah. Oh, no, you’re right. I mean, and again, that’s a lot of people, a lot of smart people, a lot of analysts are saying strategically it gives us a leg up over China and Russia in a way that is spectacular. Look, there’s no doubt in my mind Trump’s got a plan that makes all the sense in the world. I guess my question is, Can that be communicated to the average American voter? Can the average voter be convinced that this is in our best interests, strategically it makes sense, or is the average voter going to say, look at us. I mean, they’re always accusing Trump of being a tyrant and a dictator, and look at that. He’s taken over Greenland, and they don’t want to be taken over. And they’re not going to pull the lever for Republicans as a result. And maybe I’m overthinking it. Maybe no one’s going to say, I’m not going to not vote for Republicans. He’s not on the ticket. I’m not going to refuse to vote for Republicans because of the actions that Donald Trump is taking. However, these Republicans on the ballot are going to have to be on board or against it. It’s kind of a headache, don’t you think? 800-655-MIKE.
SPEAKER 1 :
I’ve got to run, run like the wind to be free again.
SPEAKER 09 :

I do hope you’ll consider subscribing to the Mike Gallagher Show podcast. We always try to put a lot of unique content there, and I don’t spend enough time promoting it, so shame on me. Today, the Week in Review podcast dropped its highlights from all the… The great moments from the Mike Gallagher show from the past week. We do the Eminem experience, my visit with Mark Davis. We post that on our podcast. Show highlights and unique interviews, unique content, unique long-form conversations. You know, with The Daily Show… We’ve got time parameters, and I often can’t spend as much time with the guests as I’d like to. And I wanted to spend time with Jennifer Oliver O’Connell. She’s an investigative journalist, a writer and contributor, a political analyst, an entrepreneur, and she writes at Red State. And over at Red State, she made a great point about the shortage of black and Hispanic protesters in Minneapolis. On our podcast, a long, great conversation with Jennifer. Here’s a little bit of my chat with Jennifer Oliver O’Connell from Red State. It’s almost as if, and I’ve heard this over and over again on social media, affluent white liberal females are becoming America’s greatest enemy.
SPEAKER 05 :
I agree with you, Mike. I don’t take credit for the phrase, but it definitely is apt concerning what is happening with these educated white females who have decided that they need to be the saviors for supposedly marginalized communities. That’s illegal aliens, blacks, Hispanics, you know, BIPOC is what they call them.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yes, BIPOC. I lose track of all the letters. You know, Jesse Waters this week on Fox News said for white women to be shrieking and spitting at and assaulting law enforcement officers, it’s not natural, it’s not normal, it’s not sane. Before we get to why there is such a shortage of people of color at all of these anti-ICE protests, and as I said a moment ago, you explain it brilliantly in your column over at Red State, Do you agree with Jesse that there is something that is particularly unhinged about these white women who decide to put themselves in harm’s way, not unlike what Renee Good tragically did last week when she was shot and killed?
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, there is a particular unhinged about it. It is not normal, and it is also not… Not someone who has something in their soul. They are obviously seeking out, searching for some type of cause, something to make them feel special. It’s very much third wave feminism where they have rejected and pushed off all of the traditional roles, the things that God made women to do and women to be. And that includes some of the career stuff that we do very well. They’ve rejected all of that. So now they’re searching for new calls and something to fill that emptiness. And this is what they found. It’s kind of scary.
SPEAKER 09 :
You know, I’ve seen a lot of comparisons between the anti-ICE protests that we’re seeing now in Minneapolis and the George Floyd protests, the so-called Summer of Love. And I kind of, I swim a little bit against the tide from some of my conservative colleagues because, look, I said to a young black kid in America, seeing a guy die, regardless of the circumstances, we understand he had drugs in his system. We understand he was not a choir boy. We get all that. But you had a cop with his knee on this guy’s back for a long period of time, eight, nine months. I guess I say all that to sort of… Understand people taking to the streets in anguish over George Floyd’s death, particularly black folks. I understand that. I understand a black I have a very good friend, a black man who said he wept. He knew the charge. George Floyd wasn’t a saint, but, you know, he felt that that that that. It should never have unfolded that way. But this time, Jennifer, it’s different this time. And I don’t know if it’s fair to put the two periods of unrest in the same category. How do you see the protests that took place after George Floyd? And of course, we’re not talking about the riots. And there were lots of riots. There’s a lot of damage or a lot of people hurt. There were people killed. There was that off-duty officer, ironically a black guy in St. Louis who was shot and who was killed. But to me, these are two entirely different, you know, events, different kinds of protests. Compare those two for us, if you would, Jennifer, and tell me what your thoughts are, what your takeaway is on the George Floyd reaction and the ICE reactions.
SPEAKER 05 :
I am someone who is in the minority, maybe of minorities, who thinks that the 2020 George Floyd protests went way over the top. I’m not saying that you should not feel for what George Floyd may have suffered before he died. That is not saying that at all. But the reaction to it, again, what what what accomplishes anything has have riots accomplished anything for any community over the last my 50 some odd years? It hasn’t. So why do we keep defaulting to this? So I didn’t agree with it when it happened with George Floyd. And of course, what happens is that the radical left latches onto this and takes it and runs with it. And politicians, the heat seekers, they do the same thing. So George Floyd may have been something that they latched onto and, you know, ran with to these destructive ends and BLM took full advantage of it. But in terms of these current anti-ice things, this is purely manufactured. They have people pouring money. One organization from Minneapolis is pouring money into ice watch groups all over the place through another pastor group. It’s a lot of money laundering going on. And politicians are setting the narrative before the narrative even happens, starting with Tim Walz, starting with Jacob Fry, the mayor. And then you have all of these politicians in Portland and every place else parroting things that have not happened and, frankly, fomenting violence.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s Jennifer Oliver O’Connell. And she went on to talk about, she has some great insight about what it means to be a black female conservative and the work that she’s done over the years. Mike Gallagher. Every day, Mike visits with Mark Davis, morning host on 660 AM, The Answer in Dallas. Here’s today’s M&M experience.
SPEAKER 09 :
I mean, it’s like rinse and repeat. Same thing last night. I mean, they’re making arrests for the people that are stealing weapons. They’re getting them. They’re finding out they’re illegals. They’re bad hombres. You know, Waltz seems to be—the more people analyze that video he made, it looked like a hostage video. Like, he’s, like, freaking out. And now he’s saying, I’m appealing directly to President Trump to tone down the rhetoric.
SPEAKER 01 :
Well, why don’t we start with not stopping—
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, let’s turn down the temperature. Well, guess what? Calling law enforcement the Gestapo, or as you mangle the name, Gestapo.
SPEAKER 01 :
He doesn’t know how to say the word.
SPEAKER 09 :
Guess what? That doesn’t do any good. So you know where I want to start today? It’s Friday. By the way, I’m off a few days next week. Head off on vacation. Oh, that’s right.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s right. Define a few days, like the entire week? Monday through Thursday. I’ll be back Friday.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay. Back a week from now, we’ll try to keep anything from happening while you’re away. Well, if it happens, I’m ready. Look, my default, unlike you, and by the way, can I pull the curtain back and share how you text? I got so annoyed with you last night, and I thought, well, let me just wait until 735.
SPEAKER 08 :
Hang on a second.
SPEAKER 09 :
So I’m texting you. We’re talking about the TV shows we’re watching. And I told you that I’m immersed in Landman, which is wonderful. Oh, my Lord, has that become my favorite, right? But I’m only into episode two of season two. So I’m getting a slow start, you know, and I’m getting the premise of the second season. And Billy Bob is incredible. And Elliot, what’s his name? Sam Elliot. Just brilliant. The ditzy wife and the ditzy daughter are great. So I’m telling you, you’re starting to tell me things. And I said, no, no, no, no. Don’t tell me anything about the show because I’m not I’m only two episodes in. Right. And you say, oh, well, Cassidy is going off to cheerleading school and you what? Ainsley? Yeah. And by the way, that’s another weird thing. You know them all by name like you know them. I’m like, who’s Ainsley? Oh, yeah, that’s the Gypsy Cheerleaders.
SPEAKER 08 :
Do you know JR and Bobby from Dallas? Well, these aren’t iconic people. Do you know the Skipper and the Professor? What’s the Skipper’s name? Oh, yeah. See, I knew you’d know it. Digby, Higby, Ding Dong. Well, I know she’s the ditzy cheerleader daughter. That’s all I know. You asked me that and didn’t know you’re going to make me look this up on the fly what the professor’s real name is? Not the professor, the skipper. Oh, the skipper, Jonas Grumby. See, you knew that. I knew you’d know that. See, you know these things, and I don’t know any of that. Nobody knows Jonas Grumby. Talk to the people while I get the professor’s real name. Well, let me share. Yeah, I’ll talk to the people. The professor could turn a coconut into a radio, but couldn’t figure out how to get off the stupid island. That’s right. Go about your business.
SPEAKER 09 :
Stuck on the island forever because then they wouldn’t have a TV show. So here’s Mark Davis. I’m saying, now, don’t tell me anything. Oh, well, Ainsley’s going off to cheerleader camp at TCU. I’m like, stop it. Stop. I don’t want to know anything.
SPEAKER 08 :
And it’s Roy Hinkley. Roy Hinkley is a professor. And I don’t mean the actor, who, of course, is Russell Johnson. But I know where you’re going. But you knew the stripper’s name. I did. There was something that happened in last week’s episode. Well, don’t tell me. No, that was so viral. My dog knows it. Everybody knows. I don’t know it. I don’t know. Okay. I mean, all right.
SPEAKER 09 :
I must not be in the algorithms.
SPEAKER 08 :
I didn’t reveal. I really didn’t. But there was something that was culturally kind of fresh as today’s headlines. La, la, la. I will not. And, of course, the finale is this Sunday. And, of course, you’re two episodes into a ten-episode season. Is that episode nine? Is that ten? It’s ten. It’s ten. Ten. Okay, so I’m two in. So you’ve got eight to go. And I said, listen, I said wrap it up by tomorrow morning.
SPEAKER 09 :
I want to have a Diet Coke with Billy Bob Thornton. I wonder if he’s like that. You think he’s like that character?
SPEAKER 08 :
I see him interviewed all the time, and we talked earlier this week about how he has a real appreciation for the fans and will spend some time with them as much as he can. But he also had some wonderful quotes this past season about the stars who get out there and beat you down with politics. He said, look, I’m just not going to do that. Why would anybody pay closer attention to someone on a political issue just because they have a movie or a TV show? What if they’re wrong? I love you, I love you, I love you.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, and the plot line is kind of MAGA-friendly, right? I mean, it’s sort of pro-oil and, you know, big, big money, and they showed the stockyards there in Fort Worth, episode one, which was… Fort Worth all over the place.
SPEAKER 08 :
It’s so great. And in that episode that I will tell you nothing about, Ainsley has a role in delivering some messaging… We had that famous episode, I think it was last season, where Billy Bob talks to Rebecca, the attorney, and essentially says, hey, everything in your life is because of fossil fuels. You remember that speech, right? Bingo, bingo. Well, Ainsley is responsible for a moment in episode nine that is about something that I can’t, we’ll tell you about this, la, la, la. It’s golden. You will say, I can’t believe that, well, in Taylor Sheridan’s world, he can pretty well do anything he wants, but it’s just a little messaging that is, let’s say, very rare in today’s TV culture.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, but I have seen on social media a warning that Taylor Sheridan has an ability to make you think it’s going to be kind of conservative and MAGA, and then he pulls the rug out from under you and it turns into be a real woke thing. I think that happened with Yellowstone. I think Yellowstone got kind of woke.
SPEAKER 08 :
I’ll take it. I’ll take it. Yeah, me too. If I can get the occasional episode like this. And real quick, I don’t think we talked at all. Did you catch any of the Golden Globes? No, no. Okay, I don’t care about award shows, but I care about the product. I’ve been immersing myself in a lot, and it was great to see the young man win. You did watch Adolescence, right? The brilliant four-part thing about the British kid who was accused of a murder and blah, blah, blah. You did that, right? I did not. I missed Adolescence. Well, if you’ve got time off, that’s one of the greatest things on television in the last ten years.
SPEAKER 09 :
Do they talk with funny accents?
SPEAKER 08 :
Do they talk in an English accent? That’s it. That’s why British accents all over. Thick British accents. No, no. That’s why God made subtitles, Mike. Subtitles. You okay with subtitles? Well, you didn’t do the subtitles. And in a minute, I got a movie that will make you do subtitles, but it’s worth it. And back to the Golden Globes, Jean Smart won for Hacks, which is great, but she’s an idiot and revealed her idiocy on the red carpet. I think everybody knows how to do the right thing. But I learned about a little Norwegian movie, so run screaming now, called Sentimental Value with the great actor Stellan Skarsgård. And Lisa and I said, listen, this is revered. Let’s take a look at it. Mike, it’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in years. Really? So it’s called Sentimental Value. And it’s weird. Famous actress Elle Fanning, American, is in it and speaks English in it. I’m wondering if they’re watching that in Norway. Do they put subtitles under her? I guess they do. For everybody, sentimental value, Norwegian film streaming now, simply a masterpiece. Okay.
SPEAKER 09 :
So keeping it in Norway and the Danish vein here.
SPEAKER 08 :
Also known as Denmark.
SPEAKER 09 :
I got in trouble yesterday because I, toward the end of the show, said, you know, of all my favorite things that Trump is doing, acquiring Greenland ain’t one of them. And people got… I mean, do we really want to take it? Are you high? I’m kidding. No, well, I got some flack because, of course, do we want to acquire Greenland?
SPEAKER 08 :
Of course we want to acquire Greenland. Why? It is of enormous strategic and resource value. It’s in our hemisphere. It’s like halfway between Washington and Russia. I can see it from my house. They don’t want to be acquired. I know. So we’re not going to invade them. And we’ve got problems here. We’ve got a lot of problems here. Don’t go Rand Paul on me, Mike.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, I don’t want to be Rand Paul, but I want to be probably with the 80% of Americans who think we probably have other things to do other than acquire Greenland. This is an 80-20 issue, Mark.

That’ll do it for a Friday. Thanks for tuning in. I’ll be off for a few days next week. Be sure to keep Joey Hudson comfortable, as I know you will, and I’ll be back a week from today. Have a great weekend. Be safe. Keep fighting the good fight. I’m Mike Gallagher. God bless America.
