SPEAKER 02 :
You know the challenge we have these days? The serious challenge is trying to keep up with it all. We’ve got a lot of breaking news to kick off the last day or so of June. This is June the 30th. We have plenty of breaking news, tragedy and horror out of Idaho, where apparently a wildfire was set as a way to lure in firefighters and first responders. Two firefighters were killed. It appears that the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. So that’s a horrifying story. On the political front, the Senate is about to vote on the big, beautiful bill amendments. I’m trying not to get frustrated with friends of mine and colleagues who say, oh, I don’t like this. Oh, I don’t like that. That’s okay, I guess. Will you just trust Trump? Will you just trust the guy? Will you believe in the guy with the track record of winning? How much winning? Are you seeing the winning? Are you recognizing the winning? Are you sticking around and hearing the news about Canada? Late last night, Canada rescinded their digital service tax because Trump was going to cut off trade talks with Canada and slap them with a big fat tariff. You know what Canada said? Sorry. And they, big win for Trump and the United States, they rescinded their digital service tax. That was the sticking point for Donald Trump. Look at the last week and a half or so. No nukes for Iran. Ceasefire in the Middle East. Have you seen the stock market soaring? Record highs. Border is totally secure. The deportations are accelerating at a record level. Tomorrow, Trump’s going to be here in Florida at Alligator Alcatraz. You seen the memes of the dancing alligators with the ice hats on? Saying, ready and reporting for duty, sir. And, of course, the environmentalists are freaking out and people think it’s cruel and it’s awful. There’s also, just thrown in for good measure, as you may not have heard, Israel took out the mastermind of the October 7th Hamas massacre. He’s dead. There’s peace now between Rwanda and the Congo. And this big, beautiful bill, I’m convinced, is going to pass. And if you try to get in the way, You’re gone. Look at Tom Tillis, the North Carolina rhino, the never-Trumper, the guy who votes with Democrats all the time, this peculiar brand of Republican that never acts like a Republican. He went along with Rand Paul to be the only two no votes on the big, beautiful bill, and then Trump said, all right, Tom Tillis, you want to play that game? We’re going to primary you. You’re gone. And Tom Tillis said, okay, I quit. I’m out. I resign. He’s retiring. He’s not going to run for re-election. And now he’s going to be that MSNBC style of Republican railing against the big, beautiful bill. This bill is not going to be perfect. Nobody ever thought it was going to be perfect. But we’re going to see massive reduction in Medicaid fraud and abuse. We’ve got millions and millions of able-bodied people on Medicaid. Don’t need to be on Medicaid. We’ve got fraud. We’ve got waste. This bill is about keeping Trump’s promise to the American people. We’re going to see a lot of great things come out of it. We’re going to see some things come out of what we don’t love. That’s how the sausage is made. Be unified. Knock it off with the sideline nitpicking and complaining if you’re on Team Trump. Because being on Team Trump means you’re on Team USA. Being on Team USA benefits all Americans. Republicans, Democrats, Independents. Things are getting better by the day. I mean, and all these victories… These people who are naysayers and negative Nancys are becoming more and more irrelevant by each passing hour. Meanwhile, over in New York, they’ve got a guy that might become mayor who wants to eliminate billionaires and actually believes in communism. literally believes in communism. This guy is all about the redistribution of wealth and robbing from people with financial success and giving it to freeloaders, basically. Communism. Definitely socialism and very likely communism. Somebody put together a little clip of Mamdami saying, with some appropriate music in the background. This is an actual clip, and be very, very careful to pay attention to what he says at the end of this 30-second clip. We just liked the music that was added on X, and I wanted to share it with you.
SPEAKER 04 :
What the purpose is about this entire project, it’s not simply to raise class consciousness, but to win socialism. And obviously raising class consciousness is a critical part of that. But making sure that we have candidates that both understand that and are willing to put that forward at every which moment that they have and every which opportunity that they are given. We have to continue to elect more socialists. And we have to ensure that we are unapologetic about our socialism. There are also other issues that we firmly believe in. whether it’s BDS, right, or whether it’s the end goal of seizing the means of production.
SPEAKER 02 :
Do you hear what he said at the end? Seize the means of production. I hope you’re paying attention. Zoran Mamdami wants to seize the means of production. That is, look it up. It’s a slogan. It’s a phrase associated with communism. This is the idea of transferring control of the resources and infrastructure used for creating wealth the means of production, from the bourgeoisie, the owners of capital, to the working class, or proletariat. This is right out of the textbook. This concept is central to Marxism. This is the Marxist theory, which states that the capitalist class… exploits the working class by appropriating the surplus value generated by their labor. Now, look, progressives don’t care. They’re fine with that. And I’m not going to spend a ton of time on this Zoran Mamdani today. But there’s a lot of amazing things that are happening in America, and we have to celebrate them. We have to acknowledge the win, take the wins, and be unified. I love my colleagues, but I wake up this morning and I hear one of my friends complaining about aspects of the big, beautiful bill. I just don’t know why we do this. We go down this path where we’re splintered and we’re divided. Look, it’s okay to have debate, I guess, but can we also lean in to unity? to put up a unified front, the opposition we face are the dirty Democrats who never splinter, who are always, always unified. Trust Trump. And it’s a tough process. It’s an ugly process. It’s messy. But it’s going to win. It’s going to work. Look, here is Mark Wayne Mullen on this big, beautiful bill, appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, explaining how the math doesn’t even work with Medicaid. They’re lying to you about Medicaid cuts. But Senator Mark Wayne Mullen sets the record straight.
SPEAKER 03 :
What we’re doing is cutting the waste, fraud, and abuse, and I want to use that word, abuse, out of the Medicaid system and make sure it’s for the people that it was originally intended for. Keep in mind, right now, there’s 35 million people that live under the poverty line inside the United States, yet there’s 70 million that’s on Medicaid. Now, it’s unsustainable. Medicaid was designed for those in the most dire need, and that’s what we need to make sure it’s there for. Now, what people are upset about, especially in states, is ever since Obamacare, there’s been this loophole that allows the states to actually charge providers an exorbitant amount to pay their share. And so instead of the states paying their share, they’re charging the providers, which one requires the United States government taxpayers and other states to offset these high provider taxes inside different states. North Carolina has a high provider tax. What we’re saying is it needs to be even. Every state should be the same. And so we’re gradually bringing down what states provide and making it even across the board. And so there’s an even playing field. So one state like Oklahoma isn’t offsetting high provider taxes in North Carolina or California.
SPEAKER 02 :
Now, the good news is the left is melting down. The Trump haters don’t know what to do. Don’t know what to do. They are frantic. They’re flailing. They know that we’re winning. And when I say our side is winning, that’s a win for the country. Have you seen the stock market? The soaring stock market? Inflation down? No. Gas prices plummeting. Trump keeps winning. He’s having the time of his life. And he is mounting success after success after success. And the Trump haters are spitting mad. Spitting mad. They don’t know what to do. Just got a nasty text from Georgia. Oh, BS. People can hear your BS. No, no. There’s no BS here. There’s truth and there’s joy in all these wins. And it’s a lot of fun to watch. 800-655-MIKE. It’s 18 past the hour. It’s Monday. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. Got a lot of breaking news, and I got a lot to break down with you to keep you up to date. Had a great weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. Actually, in Seabrook Island, which is outside of Charleston. Had a great time with my dear friends Peg and Joey Hudson. Did a little tool around on the water. We drove by a boat that was… We looked it up. It’s worth between $35 and $40 million. I posted a picture of it on my ex-account. So check it out, at Gallagher Show, if you want to see this picture. And some people were saying, no, it can’t be worth that much. No, it is. We actually took a picture of the boat and put it into ChatGPT. And it gave the price tag as between $35 and $40 million. Now, the person that owns that boat, is the person that Zoran Mamdami wants to get rid of. He doesn’t like wealth like that. Unless it’s his wealth, I guess. So we’ll dive in. Let’s put your voice front and center. How are you feeling about all this winning? How are you feeling about the Trump agenda so far? 800-655-MIKE. PhD weight loss has changed my life. And I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. You’ve seen the story recently about the study that shows that a lot of people that are getting this… are going blind, you don’t want to do this. You want a program to lose weight that’s centered around science and nutrition, a proven roadmap that has helped over 8,000 clients lose weight and keep it off. Like me, I lost 53 pounds a few years ago, and I’ve kept it off. I know what to eat and when. I know how to quiet any of the cravings I might get and finally release that unhealthy belly fat that I carried along for so long. Make the phone call that can change your life in the way it changed mine. It’s called PhD Weight Loss. PhD Weight Loss, Dr. Ashley Lucas’ program is brilliant. And how do I know? Well, 53 pounds later, here I am. 864-644-1900 is their number. Call and schedule your consultation. You can do this program from anywhere in America. Call 864-644-1900, 864-644-1900, or visit MyPhDWeightLoss.com. Outside the rain begins… Mike Gallagher. I saw that Charlie Kirk was trending over the weekend, and I looked up why. People are mad at him for calling Kamala Harris a DEI hire. Katonji Jackson-Brown a DEI hire. When people like Joe Biden say, I’m going to pick… somebody based on the color of their skin, and he does, what else would you call that hire other than a diversity, equity, and inclusion hire? Why wouldn’t you celebrate it? So Biden said, I’m going to pick a black woman to be my VP. And he picked Kamala Harris. And then as soon as somebody like Charlie Kirk or any of us say that’s a DEI hire, people call us racists. Trish Regan, who’s our great podcaster, part of the Salem Podcast Network, had a clip pointing out that no matter what we’re facing challenge-wise, we sure dodged a bullet in missing the chance to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Trish Regan pointed it out beautifully.
SPEAKER 10 :
No matter how bad it gets, always remember it could be worse. We did it. We did it, Joe. You’re going to be the next president of the United States. I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people. You think you just fell out of a coconut tree? You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you. Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So basically that’s wrong. Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus, right? Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus, right? There’s something about… And most of us, many of us went to school on the yellow school bus. Imagine what can be and be unburdened by what has been. You know? What can be unburdened by what has been. What can be unburdened by what has been. I feel unburdened by not watching you anymore.
SPEAKER 02 :
You’re right, Trish. Can you imagine her in the White House right now? Do you realize… Just think about what this country would be going through if she was elected president, if we had that imbecile as the commander-in-chief. But look, I want to ask you a very sincere question. When Biden promised to pick a black woman, and he did, she’s only there because she’s a black woman, right? When Joe Biden said, I’ll only consider a black woman for SCOTUS, Supreme Court, right? And Charlie Kirk says, she’s only there because she’s a black woman, How is he racist? And if you want to challenge that, please do. 800-655-MIKE. Again, Joe Biden says, I’ll only consider a black woman for SCOTUS. Charlie Kirk, she’s only there because she’s a black woman. And the left loses its mind and says, Charlie Kirk’s a racist. He’s terrible. What a bigot. What a monster. No, no, no. You should own it. You should say Ketanji Desai. Jackson Brown or Ketanji Brown Jackson, whatever it is, is there because she’s a black woman and you’re proud of it. She might be an imbecile, but she checked the box, right? 800-655-MIKE. You honestly don’t know whether to laugh or cry. 800-655-6453. Join us. Portions of our show brought to you by MyPillow and Big Deal. Two sales in one. SPEAKER 08 :
Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 02 :
Portions of the Mike Gallagher Show are sponsored by Americans for Prosperity because we believe in AFP. We appreciate them and we are always, always honored to share with you this terrific agenda of this grassroots organization that is making a difference. Kent Strang. He oversees AFP’s federal strategies and manages a team focused on policy reform. So we’ve got to get a policy guy in here, Kent Strang. Welcome back. Policy, policy, policy. Votorama is underway. We’ve got the big, beautiful bill. There’s debate. There’s controversy. There’s drama. I had to get AFP’s perspective on this. Great having you back, Kent. How are you? Always a pleasure. Thank you, Mike. You bet. You bet. Give us a breakdown of what happened over the weekend to advance this legislation, because a lot of people don’t understand it. I saw a lot of posts on social media. Oh, good. The Senate voted 51 to 49 to pass the big, beautiful bill. There’s a lot of misunderstanding. There’s a lot of confusion. There’s a lot of deceit, frankly, about Medicaid cuts, because, of course, the Democrats are back to pushing granny over the cliff in a wheelchair. So give me your perspective on where it went this weekend and where we’re headed.
SPEAKER 06 :
So over the weekend, the Senate had to pass what’s called a motion to proceed. This is essentially a procedural vote to get it on to the full Senate. So what they did is they needed 50 votes, and that’s why Vice President Vance was waiting in the wings in Thune’s office in case he needed to break a tie. And now what they’re going through is then Griller and Chief Chuck Schumer are used a procedural measure that required them to read the entire bill. Then it goes up to 20, up to 20 hours of debate. And now we’re where we are at this moment, where we are in Voterama. And this is essentially another opportunity for various members to provide amendments to the bill. You’ll see the left use this as a mechanism to Try to trick the right into voting for bad things that you can use for campaign speeches. And then once that process is is over, it’s time for them to take a full vote on the one big, beautiful bill. That’s where we are right now. Voterama started just a few minutes ago.
SPEAKER 02 :
Now, the debate among conservatives and a lot of us who, of course, are. dreading additional spending or adding to the deficit. We get that. We understand this isn’t perfect. This is the way the sausage is made. I mean, you’ve got to strike deals, and unfortunately, I think it’s virtually impossible to advance this kind of massive legislation without increasing the deficit. We have a spending problem, and Americans for Prosperity has been all about that. You guys have been brilliant at highlighting that and what to do about it. What steps can Congress take to ensure a fiscally responsible agenda, because that’s a major challenge, Kent.
SPEAKER 06 :
It’s a major challenge, and certainly America has a spending problem that we need to get right. What we need to do is find as many aligned offsets as we can in this bill. One area where the Senate can make those cuts and that they’ve looked to make those cuts is through ending Biden’s Green New Energy scam, the EV credits that were billions of dollars in wasteful spending. That’s one area. They’re finding the waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicaid, or at least they’re trying to, to make sure that we can pay for pro-growth policies like tax cuts. And so They have a very slim margins in the House and in the Senate. And so the things that upset the moderates are the things that upset the conservatives and trying to weave that process to ensure that we get pro-growth tax reform. But what they can do outside of this is we didn’t get into this mess in one bill, and we’re not going to get out of this mess in one bill. Congress should take up additional spending cuts. They can do that through the rescissions package that we’re seeing from the White House and the work that Doge did. It’s certainly not an end. We have to continue to cut wasteful spending, the waste, fraud, and abuse in our government.
SPEAKER 02 :
And there is a lot of waste, fraud, and abuse with Medicaid. And I know that – I mean, I get it. I get that Democrats are going to seize on it and say that – I mean, they already – I saw an ad last night on Fox News, of all places, showing a hypothetical family saying, oh, we’ve got to put mom in a nursing home, but we can’t find one because Medicaid cuts. I mean, it’s insane. There’s a lot of misinformation there. And I saw Mark Wayne Mullen show the statistic about all the tens of millions of able-bodied Americans who are collecting Medicaid. But that’s a particular unique challenge, isn’t it, that we have to defend Medicaid cuts but also thwarting the narrative that we’re going to throw granny off the cliff. Right.
SPEAKER 06 :
Medicaid is certainly at the center of this debate, but let’s think about what makes sense and what doesn’t make sense. What makes sense is that we have important social safety nets for single mothers who have children that need Medicaid. What we don’t need, as you mentioned, is able-bodied men who can go out and contribute to society collecting for Medicaid. What we don’t need is folks who are non-American citizens collecting Medicaid. We had a huge expansion of Medicaid thanks to Obamacare, and now we’re seeing how that’s impacting our spending, If we want to maintain and protect this important program for the future, we have to get people off of it who are abusing it, get the fraud out of it, and make sure that it’s helping those who actually need it.
SPEAKER 02 :
We’re visiting with Ken Strang, Managing Director for Americans for Prosperity and a very important organization. You need to go to protectprosperity.com and be a part of the great work that AFP is all about. And that’s fundamentally what they are, is grassroots Americans who are fighting hard for this country, who love our country. You know, I don’t want to gloat, but there have been so many fiscal successes already. Maybe you saw this morning at Axios, the S&P 500 was on track to hit a new record Friday. Trump announced the termination of trade talks with Canada. Canada backed off. Within an hour, investors decided not to care. Stocks closed at an all-time high for the first time since February. I mean, Wall Street, they argue, Kent, is largely post-tariff. The market is a forward-looking machine. It’s already priced in better-than-expected trade deals before they’re even signed. And this is what I mean about, I know it sounds sycophantic, but I’m going to say it anyway, trust Trump. He’s always three steps ahead, it seems. He’s playing 3-D chess. But the truth is, expectations are building that this big, beautiful bill is going to advance and improve our economy, not hurt it. What’s going to happen if it passes? What do you think happens if it fails?
SPEAKER 06 :
Absolutely. Well, Americans love a comeback story like Rocky, and that’s where we are with this economy right now. Let’s remember, why are we in this mess? Joe Biden and his allies in Congress wasted $5.5 trillion in green new energy scams. They overcooked our economy, and that led to Bidenomics, massive inflation, costing the average American family $11,400 more. This administration and Republicans in Congress are righting those wrongs. Not only have you seen the growth in the S&P and other important economic indicators, but passing the one big, beautiful bill provides certainty and provides permanence. It allows companies to invest in their businesses with some of the pro-growth provisions. It allows families to ensure that they have what they need in child tax credits and what they have in insurance. in ensuring that they can grow their family. And so what we need to do is we need to pass the one big, beautiful bill immediately. And if we fail to do that, it will result in the largest tax hike in American history. And that will absolutely decimate our economy.
SPEAKER 02 :
Across the board. And you can’t overstate that, I think. I mean, you look at what’s happening right now in New York City with the potential of this Mamdani getting elected. He wants to tax people even more burdensome who are financially successful. And Wall Street’s panicking about New York. It’s the financial center of the world. He is on record as saying there shouldn’t be billionaires. I just love that mindset. There shouldn’t be. What happens to billionaires? They shouldn’t exist. Do we put them on an island somewhere? Do we try to erase them? But look, the guy has got a true Marxist ideology of the redistribution of wealth, and this is kind of what the country is up against, right, Kent? That’s right.
SPEAKER 06 :
And we know those policies don’t work. We saw it over the four years of Bidenomics, the policies of Bernie Sanders and AOC and the far left make people’s pocketbooks be slimmer. It costs them more money. They don’t actually help people. What helps people is lower taxes, more freedom, more opportunity. That’s what America is built on. That is the American dream, not the far left progressive policies that make life unaffordable.
SPEAKER 02 :
We’re so grateful for the work you’re doing, Kent. Keep it up. Keep fighting the good fight. Again, I hope everybody goes to ProtectProsperity.com. You can take action. The time to be on the sidelines is gone. You’ve got to be a warrior. You’ve got to be active. And Americans for Prosperity is one of the splendid ways that you can do your part as an American. Again, go to ProtectProsperity.com. ProtectProsperity.com. Kent Strang, always great to see you. Come back and visit with us again, okay? Anytime. Thank you, Mike. Thanks, Kent. Kind of a couple of bombshells over the weekend. Tom Tillis, one of the no votes on the Big Beautiful Bill, was threatened with a primary challenge by President Trump himself. And Tom Tillis said, OK, I’m out. And how about a big victory in the trade talks with Canada? We’ve got more winning to tell you about. Stick around. A lot of news to digest here on the Mike Gallagher Show for a Monday. Don’t go away.

SPEAKER 09 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 02 :
If Americans put as much energy supporting the Trump agenda as they do trying to block it or complain about it, there’d be no stopping this country. There is so much winning going on right now, starting with the enormously successful strike of the Iranian nuclear facilities last weekend. Gas prices are plummeting. I’m getting all kinds of text messages and email from people all over the country who can’t believe how inexpensive gas is at the pumps. We’ve got a ceasefire in the Middle East. We have a really good shot at getting this big, beautiful bill passed. And let’s look at the economy for just two seconds here, shall we? Torsten Slocke is the chief economist at the investment giant Apollo Global Management. He was one of the prominent Wall Street economists who slammed Trump’s tariffs earlier this year. Remember all the smart kids said the tariffs were going to shatter the economy? Said that the stock market was going to plummet? That inflation was going to soar? In April, he predicted a recession by now, by summer. Well, this time around, now he’s saying that President Trump just may have outsmarted all of us with his trade policies. He said what’s happening right now is these moves could deliver a sizable boost to U.S. government revenue. Trade partners will be happy, and it’s quite possible that Trump’s agenda, his economic agenda, outsmarted all of us. Mike Allen over at Axios writes that Wall Street seems completely impervious. to the Trump tariffs. The S&P 500 was on track to hit a new record Friday, then sank when Trump announced the termination of trade talks with Canada. Within an hour, investors decided not to care. Stocks closed at an all-time high. Expectations are building around the big, beautiful bill. could be a fresh catalyst. Axios reports there are several bullish signals that strategists would rather focus on than tariffs. Scott Besson continues to pitch an economic agenda that is a three-legged stool. Tax trade and deregulation. By the way, I was in Charleston over the weekend. Love Charleston, South Carolina. And that’s where Scott Besson is from. He has a mansion right there on the water that is so beautiful. I think it’s called, known as the Pink House in Charleston. Over there on, I think it’s the Battery, they call it. Golly. The thing was massive. And, of course, Zoran Mamdani doesn’t think that Scott Besson should be allowed to exist. Right. He doesn’t believe in billionaires. Kirsten Welker on NBC’s Meet the Press literally said to Mamdani yesterday, do you think billionaires have a right to exist? And she laughed, right? Because it’s kind of an outrageous thing to say. And she has, like, nervous laughter. And he smiles back, and she thinks she’s joking around? He confirms he doesn’t think there should be any existence of billionaires. So the Scott Bessons and the Elon Musks and the Mark Zuckerbergs and the Jeff Bezos, billionaires, Oprah Winfrey, they just shouldn’t exist in this kook, in this kooky Mamdani’s outlook. Check this out on Meet the Press.
SPEAKER 09 :
You are a self-described democratic socialist.
SPEAKER 03 :
Do you think that billionaires have a right to exist?
SPEAKER 05 :
I don’t think that we should have billionaires because, frankly, it is so much money in a moment of such inequality.
SPEAKER 02 :
Stop it. Hit it. Stop. I can’t take any more. Because she had to sit there and think, oh, my Lord, I’m laughing and joking that there shouldn’t be billionaires. He doesn’t think… There should be billionaires. They shouldn’t be around. It’s unbelievable. I mean, we’re facing – I want to play for you something that – and coming up, I want you to hear this. It’s a little long. It’s a few minutes. But there’s a guy named Michael Smirconish who used to be, I guess, a conservative radio host in Philly, and then he became an Obama supporter, and now he’s got a gig on CNN. I’m a guy who believes in giving credit where credit is due. I want you to hear what he had to say about the week of the Trump presidency that we just experienced. Again, let’s be unified. I’ll share this with you. You’re not going to want to miss it. That’s coming up.
SPEAKER 01 :
