SPEAKER 16 :
Gosh, what a week it has been, huh? Here we are. We made it to Friday. And golly, I don’t even know where to start. Do you? I mean, there’s only one issue on this Friday, July 25th. The only thing that matters, the only thing that everybody should be talking about. is the treasonous conspiracy that has been laid out by the federal government against the Obama administration. And there’s a lot of accountability, a lot of reckoning, a lot of stuff that’s going to be… people are going to have to face the music. I saw once in an airport, I think I was in Boston, I forget where I was, but I was walking through an airport and I looked up and there was John Brennan by himself. And I thought, gosh, this is a guy who… contributed so much damage to the Trump administration, both during his tenure as a government official and post-government official. And that’s the thing that fascinates me that I want to ask you about. Here’s what Jonathan Turley, by the way, Professor Jonathan Turley, said about John Brennan last night on Fox News, suggesting he could be the most vulnerable of all of these sort of shadowy figures that… the Trump administration maintains tried to commit this awful coup and thwart the will of the American people.
SPEAKER 10 :
And it does appear that a couple of these figures may have committed perjury. I think the most vulnerable may be Brennan, who’s like a 30-point buck now out in the open. I mean, this stuff goes directly to information that he gave to Congress. It seems to be in contradiction. And so there are real questions here. I mean, people talk about, well, you can’t charge Obama. That’s very likely the case. He’s probably protected. But these individuals, whether it’s Comey or Brennan, are not protected from perjury charges if the statute of limitations has not run. They are more likely to be called again to repeat prior testimony.
SPEAKER 16 :
Here’s what I don’t understand. And as my friend Mark Davis likes to say, we’ve got to let the game come to us. We should have our eyes wide open. We need to be paying attention. We need to be following this diligently, and we will. I want to ask you about the people like John Brennan, the people like the disgraced FBI director Comey, Clapper, for that matter. And I mean this in good faith, and I say this to you with my heart and my eyes wide open. Okay? If you worked in the Obama administration and you had a hand in trying to subvert and damage and cripple the Trump administration because you didn’t like the guy, you can’t believe that the American people voted for him, And you were instrumental in being a part of this coup, okay? And you serve your time in the federal government. And then you leave to go off and do whatever it is you’re going to do in life, right? Walk the beach and look for seashells, like Comey had done, right? That spelled out, kill Trump. Riddle me this, Batman. Does it make any sense to you that those folks would all become cable news regulars with the express purpose of bashing Donald Trump? Have you ever stopped to think how bizarre it is that these were men who, if the Tulsi Gabbard unsealed reports are correct, tried desperately… to sabotage the Trump administration, overturning the outcome of an election, many would say, look, treason is not off the table here. If you did that when you served in the government and then you retired because the Republican administration certainly wasn’t going to have anything to do with you, wouldn’t you fade off into the sunset? Doesn’t this kind of confirm… The agenda that these men had… You’re the director of the CIA. You’re not supposed to have a political agenda. You head up the FBI. You’re not supposed to have an agenda. You’re the director of national intelligence. You’re not supposed to have a political agenda. But all of these figures… have had a cable news career bashing Trump every chance they get, saying horrible things about him, tearing into him, ripping him a new one, as much as they can. Does that make sense to you? Or does it confirm that they’re not neutral, they’re not objective, they’re not professional? They’re disgusting hacks. All they are are Lawrence O’Donnell wannabes. All they are are people who want to stay in the arena by doing as much damage to President Trump as they can. And the ironic part about this is they did a lot of damage when they were in their government positions. But they couldn’t let it go. They couldn’t stop. And that’s why they run to MSNBC at the drop of a hat. That’s why they would appear on CNN on a regular basis. They have a bias. They are not professional. They are not objective. They are hacks. Prove me wrong. 800-655-MIKE. Welcome in. Friday, July 25th. I went to Clearwater Beach yesterday to interview some folks who were there at Hogan’s Hangout mourning the death of Hulk Hogan at the age of 71. We’ll talk a little bit about that and share some of my interviews with you. But I want to see what you think about… This was one of those moments where it just hit me. Wait a minute. If these guys were professional and objective… They wouldn’t be running to cable news. They’d go play on the beach with their grandkids. But that’s not what any of them have done. They’re, pardon my language, they’re bastards. They are rotten, biased, partisan hacks. And I want you to Prove me wrong. Tell me where I’m wrong on this. Maybe you agree. Let’s find out. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Hope you join us. PhD weight loss has changed my life, and I’ve got a little secret for you. He’s the happy conservative warrior. Mike Gallagher. Broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide. And seen on your trusted conservative TV network. Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 16 :
It’s already been a fun day for us here for a Friday. We welcomed in our audience at AM 970, The Answer, in New York City for an extra hour. Our pal Joe Piscopo, who is soon to join us on the Patriots Alaska cruise in a couple of weeks. Joe took the day off, and so the station went with… Network programming, including Chris DeGaulle and yours truly. And I got an extra hour in New York, which was a lot of fun. So thank you, New York, for tuning in and all the feedback we were getting on the MyPillow text line. And kind of fun to get started a little earlier in New York City. So welcome aboard, AM 970, The Answer. And many thanks to Laura Schaefer, the terrific general manager, and Matt Sambolin and the team over there for… making us feel so welcome. Look, that was my home for a long time, and I love those folks. So a big howdy to our friends at AM 970, The Answer. Moments ago, President Trump, leaving for the weekend, talking about a number of things. He gives all kinds of press conferences, every chance he gets. He doesn’t hesitate. He doesn’t hide anything. This is the most transparent president we’ve ever seen. We’ve never seen a guy take as many questions as they want to throw at him. Now, you know we’ve sort of turned the page. on the E-word. And then I got in trouble for turning the page on the E-word, but most of you seem to agree with that decision. But that’s okay. Hey, we’ve got to let the chips fall where they may. I don’t want to get distracted from the most important issue of the day. I’m starting to believe that some of the reporting that suggested that the E-word issue was purposefully launched before the treasonous conspiracy story came out involving Obama and members of the Obama administration, I’m starting to think that that timing was no accident. In fact, there are people who insist that this was a big setup, that let’s get the shiny object here, let’s get the salacious stuff, let’s get people all excited about the titillating story. And let’s not let the impact of a president of the United States and his team actively and aggressively sabotaging a presidency because they hate Donald Trump so much. Trying to subvert the will of the American people. A treasonous conspiracy. That, to me, is the only story that matters. A lot of people have wondered about presidential immunity for Barack Obama, because if indeed he directed an effort to harm the Trump presidency with a phony, fake, debunked, ridiculous, Russia collusion hoax, is that treason? And if so, does Barack Obama… face consequences. President Trump was asked about that moments ago before he boarded Marine One outside the White House.
SPEAKER 04 :
ON PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY WOULD APPLY TO FORMER PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AND WHAT YOU’RE ACCUSING HIM OF DOING? IT PROBABLY HELPS HIM A LOT.
SPEAKER 03 :
PROBABLY HELPS HIM A LOT, THE IMMUNITY RULING. BUT IT DOESN’T HELP THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM AT ALL. BUT IT PROBABLY HELPS HIM A LOT. HE’S DONE CRIMINAL ACTS. THERE’S NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. BUT HE HAS IMMUNITY AND IT PROBABLY HELPS HIM A LOT.
SPEAKER 16 :
Obama owes me big. He will likely receive presidential immunity. Doesn’t mean his legacy won’t be in tatters. And for a guy like Obama, the legacy is all that matters. Last night, Jesse Waters played a powerful montage to remind us that it wasn’t just these government officials like Comey and Clapper and Brennan and Obama. It was the media. Media had to be all in on this. In order for this to be effective, and it likely was to some degree, Trump’s presidency in the first term was hobbled, just as it will be if Republicans lose in the midterms next year. If the Democrats take the House and the Senate, we’re going to be back to impeachment, and extravaganzas again. Any day that ends in Y, we’re going to have an impeachment conversation, which will be a nightmare. It’ll be a nightmare for Trump and the administration, but most of all, it’ll be a nightmare for America. It’ll be a nightmare for the country. And we just can’t let that happen. As hard as we fought in November of 2024, we have to double our efforts In 2026. Here’s the montage that Jesse Waters played on Fox News as a grim reminder of how the media was all in.
SPEAKER 07 :
The truth is, Tulsi struck a nerve because late last night, all the president’s men came crawling out of the woodwork to cry on CNN. Clapper says he did nothing wrong, but he’s still lowering up. Now he knows what it’s like.
SPEAKER 09 :
So what will you do if they come after you? What is your plan?
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, I’ll lawyer up, I suppose. I already have.
SPEAKER 09 :
You’ve already hired attorneys in case of an anticipation that this Trump Justice Department could try to prosecute you.
SPEAKER 15 :
We’ve had sort of perpetual attorneys since I left the government in 2017.
SPEAKER 07 :
Comey’s main man, McCabe, also chimed in to claim the FBI said Russia never affected the election.
SPEAKER 06 :
At no time did we ever conclude that the Russians succeeded in entering voting machines and changing the votality. Well, I wonder how everybody got this idea then.
SPEAKER 07 :
The Russians definitively hacked the election.
SPEAKER 08 :
Russia hacking the election to elect Trump is the end of our democracy. Votes were definitely affected.
SPEAKER 16 :
Russia hacked the election to tilt it to Mr. Trump. The president does not want to come to terms with the fact that the Russians hacked the election.
SPEAKER 08 :
Russia hacked the election. Russia did hack the election. Russia hacked the election. The FBI, the CIA, the NSA, the former director of national intelligence, James Clapper. I mean, they’ve all said this. So to believe that that’s wrong, you have to believe they’re all involved in an elaborate conspiracy to get Donald Trump.
SPEAKER 07 :
And they were. And the same pundits who were wrong about the Russia hoax don’t want it investigated. The report said Putin had no preference who won, Hillary or Trump. Both were going to be bad for Russia. He just wanted to create chaos. After the media called Trump a traitor for four years, suddenly calling the president a traitor is dangerous.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think it’s a real problem for the country to have a sitting president to say that you are to arrest or prosecute a president. His predecessor has never happened in American history. And to get people all geared up, all you need is some nut to feel I should make a citizen’s arrest. I think it is very dangerous for the country.
SPEAKER 16 :
Let’s back up. What’s the danger to the country, Reverend Al? What’s more dangerous? So that was a good segment last night on Jesse Waters’ show that included a montage showing all the media types who were screaming that Russia hacked the election. Do you get it? Do you understand the damage? And it goes all the way to presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Here’s what she said in 2019.
SPEAKER 02 :
Let’s back up and realize what happened. a historic adversary, Russia. Trying to figure out, how can I take away some of the strength of that place called the United States of America? Well, one of the strengths that they’ve got, and it’s intangible almost, you can’t really touch it, but it’s strong. When they walk in the room, it’s their strength, is that they are a democracy. Imperfect though we may be, right? Flawed though we may be, it’s part of our strength. How can we nip at that? Well, one of the greatest pillars of a democracy, especially ours, free and open elections. We are very proud of the fact we’ve not had any revolutions in recent history. It is through a peaceful transition of power through elections, our election system. Imperfect and flawed though it may be. So they decide to go with that. Well, let’s get the American people going at each other to create division and a lack of confidence in this process. And they test out a bunch of subjects. And interestingly enough, the subject that gained the most amount of heat was race. And they had people going at each other. This is all in the, you know, you read the reports and you will see that this is what happened. So, but the fact is Russia interfered.
SPEAKER 16 :
Yep. That’s it. Fact is Russia hacked the election. Isn’t that rich to have Kamala Harris accuse them of stoking division? I’m telling you what, they’ve got no shame. These Democrats have no shame whatsoever. 800-655-MIKE. It’s 17 past the hour. Welcome in. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. Busy breaking news Friday. Got a lot to cover for you today, and I hope you’ll join us. And feel free to step up. Yesterday, of course, the real shocking news that Hulk Hogan died at the age of 71. I went over to Clearwater, Florida to interview some folks in his neighborhood and at Hogan’s Hangout right there on Clearwater Beach. More on that in just a moment. But let’s dive in here to all of this. And incidentally, I got a text from Philadelphia just now. You don’t want to talk about the E-word. You’re a coward. I don’t want to talk about the E-word because every second we talk about the E-word is the second we’re not talking about one of the greatest potential conspiracies of government corruption in the history of the country. And don’t you get it? The Trump critics want us to roll around in the mud and talk about the E-word? That’s why. You want to call me a coward, Philly? Knock yourself out. The reason I’m not going to keep talking about it, first of all, I’m reflecting, I think, what most of this audience wants, because most of this audience is smart enough to understand what a distraction it is from the things that can bring down some of the most powerful levers of the federal government under Barack Obama. 800, maybe you disagree. That’s okay. Let’s talk about it. 800-655-MIKE. Call or text, but join us. We’re partnering with our friends at the nonprofit relief agency, Food for the Poor, and rushing emergency relief kits to these flood-ravaged part of the world. 128 people confirmed dead. Many, many more are still missing. As you know, President Trump and the First Lady visited the flood zone in Texas over the weekend. As you can hear, he was pretty emotional. You can hear in the sound of his voice about what he witnessed.
SPEAKER 03 :
They lost their child or two children and children. Just hard to believe what I’ve never seen anything like it. A little narrow river that becomes a monster.
SPEAKER 16 :
Now, as the president observed, we’re all grieving. We’re we’re. There’s been such a terrible loss of life. Entire communities are still being impacted. There are flooded out homes. There are closed businesses. And there are many still displaced, and they desperately need your help. Now, there is a Help Texas banner on my website, MikeOnline.com, where you can make a secure online donation. Please help us rush emergency relief kits to Texas. These kits contain tarps. hygiene items, diapers, children’s activity materials, and other essentials needed to ease the crisis for these poor people. Food for the Poor, in coordination with a trusted partner in San Antonio, has responded to the central Texas flooding. Nobody responds like the Mike Gallagher audience. Right now, already $13,000 in the first day or two. of donations have come in. We have a sort of an unofficial goal of 40,000. In my heart of hearts, we’ll soar past that goal. Let’s support our fellow Americans. Let’s support the Texans who have been through so much. Please go to MikeOnline.com and click on the Help Texas banner. You can also phone in your donation. And a lot of people do that. Just call 844-860-HOPE. That’s 844-860-4673. Thank you for supporting these poor families who’ve been through so much. Let’s get emergency relief kits to as many people as we can, and let’s make sure that the Mike Gallagher Show once again is the torchbearer. the leader in sending as many materials as possible to these poor people. Again, you can go to MikeOnline.com and click on the Help Texas banner or call 844-860-HOPE, 844-860-4673. Tyler’s in Delaware. Tyler, welcome.

Quick message from our youngest daughter. Aubrey wanted to say, you may have received A’s in high school and college, but you’re going to be getting big D’s in prison.
SPEAKER 14 :
In the Relief Factor studios on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 16 :
I think our coverage of that monster in… In Idaho, Brian Kohlberger this week led to a very rough night I had. I was telling Mark Davis this morning in Dallas about what happened to me in the middle of the night, sleeping like a baby. I hear all of a sudden this loud voice in my bedroom. And I jump up. I don’t know where it came from. It was only a couple seconds. And I have a confession to make. This is very personal. This is way more information than you need to know about me, but I have never slept without earplugs. I’ve slept with earplugs for as long as I can remember. I mean, decades. I’m a creature of habit, and if I don’t have earplugs, I can’t sleep. I just like it. I love the sound of that silicone. I think it’s silicone, right? The silicone that kind of expands in your ear. I’m going to wind up probably having, when I’m 75 or 80, I’m going to have like massive ear complications because of all the years I’ve worn earplugs. So anyway, I’ve got the earplugs in, like I always do, and I hear this voice. And then that’s it. I pop up in bed. I pull out one of the earplugs. What the heck was that? So I put the earplug back in. I go back to bed. Ten minutes later, I hear the voice again. He’s saying something. It’s a man’s voice in my bedroom. I’m having a heart attack. I mean, now I hop up out of the bed. It’s the middle of the night. And I’m frantically running around the bedroom looking at or for what could be making this noise. I have absolutely no idea what could make this noise. My laptop is closed up. I have my computer, my computer. And I noticed the phone, it had, it said on, it wasn’t lit up. And, of course, I have the phone on do not disturb, but it said advertisement. Well, then I go back to bed and I start thinking demonic possession. I’m not kidding you. Because I believe that the devil is real. Evil is real. You don’t believe it. Look at what that guy did to those four kids in Idaho. Look at Brian Kohlberger. That’s the face of evil. That guy’s a demon. No way around that. That’s just a fact. So I started thinking about demonic possession. And I started praying because I thought, in my mind, in the middle of the night, I’m kind of groggy anyway, and I’m, let’s face it, nuts. I’m crazy, and I’m laying there thinking, okay, the devil has possessed one of my, like a pair of socks is talking to me. Something like the lamp is in a man’s voice right now. He’s possessed the lamp, and he’s about to come for me. And I started wondering, if I get possessed, will I know it? Like that little girl in The Exorcist, when she was possessed, did she know that she was possessed? And I’m not trying to mock this because I believe this. I think people can be demon-possessed. So then I started praying. I prayed to God to intercede. I started praying to my Denise. Honey, please keep me safe. Don’t let the devil get… Well, then as I’m praying, rah, rah, rah, rah, there’s the voice. It’s my phone. And on the phone was an ad saying, to one of the radio station apps that I listen to. Now, I don’t even understand how that could even happen on an iPhone. I’ve got the Do Not Disturb on. But I could see the advertisement for the streaming service that I use, and I bounce around all the time. I listen to all my favorite talk show hosts as much as I can, Tara in South Carolina and Bill Frady and… Charlie James and Joey, of course. I listened to Joe Piscopo in New York and Dan Proft in Chicago and Mark Davis in Dallas. It was on 660 AM The Answer. And the ad was playing. But it was coming through as the ad was like popping up and sounding on my phone. Which now as you start thinking about it, maybe it was possessed. Maybe there was a little demon possession going on there. Because that shouldn’t happen with a Do Not Disturb on your iPhone. It’s not supposed to play a video clip like that of an ad. Oh, boy. My life, my life. 22 before the hour. And then every time I tell you these kinds of things, Christian, our video producer, mocks me. This guy is the best in the business. There’s nobody quicker or more adept at video producing a talk show than Christian Russell. It’s the craziest thing. I know he’s trading Yasmin today, and she’s doing a great job as well. But when Christian is behind the controls… You understand a lot of what we do is stream of consciousness. And I could mention, I don’t know, Kamala Harris, just because something popped in my mind that made me think of Kamala. Within about 10 seconds, Christian has B-roll playing on Salem News Channel of Kamala Harris. It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s like we’re kind of connected telepathically. He’s like my Radar O’Reilly from MASH. Remember Radar? That’s what Christian does. Oh, yeah, there it is. Thank you, Christian. See? That was Yasmin. Yasmin got Kamala Harris B-roll up there. I know what’s going on. I know what you’re doing. You’re training her well. But anyway, every time I tell these goofy stories, Christian puts up a simple graphic. Story time with Mike Gallagher. Now, Christian doesn’t think… that I know that he’s mocking me. He doesn’t think I’m thinking he’s mocking me. Oh, no, I know you’re mocking me. I know story time with Mike Gallagher is mocking me. It’s okay. It’s all right. Portions of our show are sponsored by Americans for a Balanced Budget. I want to tell you a little bit about a very important opportunity you have to let your voice be heard because Americans for a Balanced Budget is sounding the alarm. Key health care tax credits are set to expire at the end of the year. Look, we know about the amazing success for Trump and the American people with the one big beautiful bill. Congress has to act because these key health care tax credits can’t expire. If that happens, millions and millions of Americans could face skyrocketing health care costs. Millions could lose coverage entirely. Rural communities could be hit especially hard. Job losses, fewer providers, reduced access to care. Americans for a Balanced Budget is calling on Congress to protect the full promise of the One Big Beautiful Bill by preventing a devastating health care tax hike. Your voice counts. Just visit StopHealthCostHikes.com and make your voice be heard. Stop. StopHealthCostHikes.com. Protect the tax credits. Stop rising costs and act before it’s too late. Stop higher health care costs today. Visit StopHealthCostHikes.com. StopHealthCostHikes.com. South Carolina writes, Mike, if you are a Christian, you cannot be possessed by Satan. You can be oppressed but not possessed. Well, that’s good to hear. I absolutely believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. And so I absolutely… Take down the story time with Mike Gallagher graphic. You might be a smart aleck, but I’m still the boss around here. Texas writes, I’m dying laughing over here. Poor Mike. I’ll bet that was scary. But I’m over here picturing you scared out of your wits, running around your bedroom trying to find the source of the voice. Too funny. But yes, I’ll bet that was scary. I’ll tell you what would be scary is to have a police officer… And have a confrontation for a traffic stop. I’ve got to get this off. We’ve been wanting to do this every day this week. And I want to do it today. I want you to, if you haven’t seen the story of the young man in Jacksonville, Florida, who was… Dragged out of his car when he refused to get out of the car when the officer asked him to do so. I’ve got a lot to say about this incident, and I’ll bet you do, too. I want to share that with you coming up. 800-655-MIKE if you’re interested. If you’re inclined to weigh in on this, this is a real… I think it’s important because it has to do with police-community relations. And what is the right thing for a cop to do? What is the right thing for a civilian to do? And it all fell apart in Jacksonville, Florida. I’ll tell you all about it next. Portions of our show brought to you by MyPillow and Big Deal. SPEAKER 14 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 16 :
It’s the economy, stupid, right? A lot of people voted for Donald Trump to improve the economy. Moments ago, he just shared that with all this good news of the tariffs and there’s so much revenue coming into the government right now, they’re thinking about giving every American a little rebate. Wow. Didn’t see that coming, huh? I didn’t see the Gallup poll coming either that shows that Trump is underwater on the economy. I think he’s like at 29%. in terms of his approval rating on his handling of the economy. How could that possibly be? Are people delusional? Are people not seeing the lower prices at the pump, the better prices at grocery stores, the booming stock market? Are people oblivious to this? Polls are a funny thing. They really are. I don’t know whether to believe this or not. I’ve got a theory. Most of his unpopularity seems to be coming from independents. And I think there are people who are not politically aligned with either party, and they don’t like seeing the mass deportations. That’s got to be it. It can’t be the economy. Trump is less popular on the issue of the economy than he is immigration by one point, according to Gallup. So I don’t know. I have no idea what to make of any of it. What I do know is that earlier today, President Trump was interviewed outside Marine One as he prepared to board the massive helicopter to leave the White House for the weekend. And he indicated that he may give lower income Americans a rebate because so much tariff revenue is coming in.
SPEAKER 04 :
We have so much money coming in. We’re thinking about a little rebate, but the big thing we want to do is pay down debt. But we’re thinking about a rebate. That’s a very good question.
SPEAKER 03 :
We just made a lot of news. We’re thinking about a rebate because we have so much money coming in from tariffs that a little rebate for people of a certain income level might be very nice.
SPEAKER 16 :
So here’s a president saying, look, we’re looking long and hard. And I think he was impressed that the reporter, you know, knew it. Maybe he had some inside information. Maybe he’s got a source at the White House where they’ve been discussing it. But what an interesting dynamic here. Do you believe that most Americans are dissatisfied with Trump’s handling of the economy after six months? And according to Gallup, Americans are dissatisfied with everything. Everything. Israel. Ukraine. The economy. I mean, the list is wild. Gallup reports that he’s not popular for anything. I know one guy who was popular, a guy named Hulk Hogan. It was kind of sad to see some of the haters on social media last night, but look, haters are going to hate, like the kids say. I thought it would be kind of interesting to hop over to Clearwater, since it’s only a few minutes from our studios here in Tampa Bay. I went over to where he lived the day before he had been, no, actually yesterday morning. He had been taken out in a stretcher with his worried, terrified family. My heart just goes out to all who knew him. I went over to Hogan’s Hangout, which is a restaurant that was all branded, with Hulkamania stuff. And the operations manager is a guy named James. He was too upset to even give an interview on camera. But we spoke for a few minutes. He just said, look, Terry was beloved here. He loved this place. He loved karaoke night on Monday nights. And everybody in the community is hurting. Even tourists. I had a chance to interview a guy from Pittsburgh who was a great interview, actually. He almost sounded like a talk show host. I hope I didn’t stumble on another talk show host because this guy, well, he was good. Talk about surreal. I’m at Hogan’s Hangout right here in Clearwater Beach, and they were playing Ozzy Osbourne’s Mama, I’m Coming Home in the background. I mean, what a week. We lose Ozzy Osbourne, and then we lose Hulk Hogan. And here’s a gentleman from Pittsburgh visiting Hogan’s Hangout from Pittsburgh.
SPEAKER 01 :
from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We’re here on vacation, just stopped in last night. We flew in from D.C., actually. And my wife said last night, oh, we have to go across the street, and we’ve got to go check it out. And then we heard the news this morning, and it’s just surreal. And it really had a lot of relatives that knew I was down here sending me texts. Very reflective to think about all the memories that, as a kid, Hulk Hogan was a part of. And that was part of Americana, I think, in many ways.
SPEAKER 16 :
You can’t understate the iconic role he played in American culture.
SPEAKER 01 :
Right, and even as you’re sitting here across the way here talking to me, I think of all those promos, all those interviews where Hulk Hogan was being interviewed, and so many of those memories, right, were what made you smile as a kid and think, like, I could be larger than life when I grow up. Just thinking back to those memories is just surreal, surreal.
SPEAKER 16 :
It really is. It’s just sad and shocking, 71 years young. And, gosh, Ozzy Osbourne, Malcolm Jamal Warner, and also Chuck Mangione passed away, the famous musician. So, look, cherish every day. Hug your loved ones. Be in the moment. Live every day like it’s your last because you just never, ever know. Our number is 800-655-MIKE. We’re going to get to the – I want to take some calls on this issue of the Gallup poll, the economy, and why you think perhaps that polling suggests that Trump is less popular than you and I think he is. We’ll dive into that in just a second or two. I want to also talk a little bit about a chapter. Gosh, these guys are important. I didn’t know what to do with my concerns about Medicare. I turned 65 this year, and I was clueless. Just clueless. I was overwhelmed by all the mailings and the phone calls and the emails I was getting. Chapter makes Medicare simple. It’s that easy. You need somebody in your corner because you could be, if you’re over 65, you might be paying way more than you need to. on your Medicare coverage? Well, Chapter’s going to know because they’re independent. That means they’re not affiliated with any of the insurance companies. That means they’re looking out for you. They’ve got access to all of the different plans, all the different insurances at their fingertips. No pressure, no agenda, just honest personal help. Doesn’t cost you a dime. So if you’re turning 65, if you’re over 65, I want you to reach out to Chapter so they can make sure you’re not paying one penny more than you need to and that you’re properly covered. Call Chapter, 25Medicare. Easy number to remember, 25Medicare. That’s their phone number. Call Chapter, Medicare made simple. I love these guys, and I love getting to tell you about Chapter every day here on the show. Call 25Medicare or go to MedicareForMike.com, MedicareForMike.com.
SPEAKER 05 :

Mike Gallagher. Every day, Mike visits with Mark Davis, morning host on 660 AM, The Answer in Dallas. Here’s today’s M&M experience.
SPEAKER 17 :
Let’s talk about the universe of bilingual ads or Spanish-language ads. So case by case, you’re driving down the highway. You’re in the Tampa Bay area. There’s certainly some Spanish-speaking folks down there. And you see a billboard in Spanish on Interstate 4. Problem or no problem? That’s different because you’re not a captive audience like a radio show. Exactly right. They figure, hey, people speak Spanish here. They buy burgers. They go to restaurants. No problem. That’s different. How about you pull up to a drive-thru… and the menu is in Spanish only. How ridiculous is that? How stupid is that? They don’t want our business? Precisely. All right, now the third one triangulates between the two. Virtually everything, the menu, this, that, are in both Spanish and English. Is that okay?
SPEAKER 16 :
I mean, give them an option. I mean, look, it’s so ubiquitous now. You can’t call any customer service center without hearing dose, you know, whatever they say.
SPEAKER 17 :
As long as I am not denied English, I’m good. I totally understand. By the way, because it is on the press one for this language, press two for this language. You ever get somebody upset because English is not number one? Oh, yeah, from the Spanish one? Yeah, you better make English number one, baby. No kidding.
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, look, I spent the day yesterday in Clearwater, Florida. I went over to Hulk Hogan land.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, whoa, what?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah, I went over and did some, I was Johnny on the spot. I interviewed some people. I went to his mansion. Such a sad, sad story. I mean, he lived about 20 minutes from our studios on Clearwater Beach. He and his wife lived in this beautiful home in kind of a working class neighborhood. Interestingly enough, it was not a gated neighborhood. And you could pull right up in front of the house. Now, the Clearwater police had it.
SPEAKER 17 :
So somebody could just walk up and knock on the door and talk to the Hulkster if they knew where he lived?
SPEAKER 16 :
They could have. Now, the Clearwater police had it really well controlled by the time we got there. They had the streets kind of blocked off. But there weren’t a lot of people at the house, which surprised me. There were a couple of TV cameramen. But then I drove back into Clearwater Beach. There’s a place called Hogan’s Hangout. And it was a Hulkamania restaurant and bar that he was very active in. And I met the operations manager, James, who was just so emotional he couldn’t even give an interview. He said, Mike, I don’t want to talk right now. It’s too hard. I can’t believe this happened. He goes, I talk to Terry all the time. In fact, Monday night was karaoke night here, and that was his baby. He loved karaoke night here. Wait a minute. Hulk did karaoke?
SPEAKER 17 :
Oh, I don’t know if he did it, but he showed up.
SPEAKER 16 :
He might have been a judge. Maybe he was a judge.
SPEAKER 17 :
But what a passion. Don’t go changing to try and please me.
SPEAKER 16 :
71 years young. I mean, his body just gave out. I guess he had had some surgeries. He had neck surgery. And there was a rumor a couple weeks ago that his heart was given out. His wife said that wasn’t true. And there’s sadly some kind of… Real tragic video that somebody took of him being wheeled out in a stretcher from the front of the house. And they were performing CPR on him. And just so, so sad.
SPEAKER 17 :
Somebody did observe that. He said, if Ozzie outlives Hulk Hogan, it makes me wonder why I’m at the gym three times a week. Exactly. And by outlives, to an older age. And, you know, people, so the last time, one of the reasons Hulk is so front of mind is because he was quite the figure in Magaland and quite the presence at the Republican convention in Milwaukee this past time. And people made fun of it. They went, oh, man, you know, when the Democrats gather, you know, we get like Stevie Wonder and Michael McDonald. Look who they get. All right, listen. Hulk Hogan is about America. He is about middle America, working class America, America’s entertainment culture. And by the way, a part of the culture that does actually love America rather than tear it down. He is such a lover of America, a lover of Christ. And I’ve never been a big WWE consumer like at all. But boy, I was certainly aware of him. And especially in these last couple of years.
SPEAKER 16 :
Very, very sad past him. Of course, the team in New York, they were screaming in my ear because it happened during my show yesterday. And Eric was like all excitable saying, see, see, happens in threes, happens in threes. Malcolm Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne, and Hulk Hogan. And then you throw in Chuck Mangione.
SPEAKER 17 :
Whoops, I guess it’s a quadra factor.
SPEAKER 16 :
Stop it. Well, if I drop over any second now, it’ll be five of us. I almost dropped over yesterday when I got bashed by my audience. I made a decision. I’m so sick of the E-word, and I decided I’m not talking about the E-word anymore. I’m not talking about it because it’s a distraction. The more news came out yesterday, oh, look at this, Bill Clinton wrote letters too. Oh, look at that. Everybody’s writing letters. You know what? I’m done with it.
SPEAKER 17 :
I’m done. It’s Roll Reversal Friday. Mike, I want to protect you from your instinct, which is alienating a large part of your audience. And by this, I’m kind of half kidding here. By this, I mean, I don’t think a majority of your audience wants you to obsess about Epstein every day. Not at all. But there are things here, like, for example, I don’t care about whether Bill Clinton was on the plane. There’s somebody sitting… I have a picture now of Epstein and Trump and James Brown. It’s like, okay, well, whatever. All these people were all hanging out together. But if Ghislaine Maxwell, his running buddy, was interviewed by the Department of Justice all day yesterday, eh. I’d like to be a fly on the wall. There may be a detail. There’s some details in this that are probably worthwhile, and I think I would suggest you not.
SPEAKER 16 :
What’s worthwhile is that Barack Obama attempted a coup and thwarted the will of the people. What’s worthwhile, those are stories, and I believe that the entire Epstein thing And I was reading early this morning on Axios about the timing of events that the Justice Department and the Trump administration, they were set up. Then they took the bait. They were pressed and they were pushed. Let me finish. They were pressed into releasing the judgment that they were closing the door on the Epstein file because the deep state knew. that all this stuff was coming out about Obama and Brennan and Comey and Clapper, and they wanted to get the Epstein thing in front of it. And rather than hold off, the Justice Department took the bait. They fell for the trap. They did it. And now the Epstein thing is trying to get all the oxygen out of the room. And I’m not going to let this go about what Obama and Brennan and these guys did.
SPEAKER 17 :
It’s not binary.
SPEAKER 16 :
But every second we’re spending, every second we’re talking about the plane and the stupid Epstein stuff, we’re not talking about an attempted treasonous conspiracy.
SPEAKER 17 :
Or the attempt to offer up Biden as being just fine with Ron Klain and all that. Or, maybe most importantly of all, winning, winning, and more winning, which is vanishing from the headlines. So your instincts are solid.
SPEAKER 16 :
I believe you could accuse me of alienating what I believe is the best. No, I’m not kidding about that. I know because I think the vast majority of our audience is tired of it and they’re fed up and they want us to dive into the substantive things. And that’s what I’m doing. So no more E-word on the Mike Gallagher show, at least for now. I reserve the right to change my mind at some point down the road if Ghislaine Maxwell somehow shows up on the Mark Davis show and spills the beans.
SPEAKER 17 :
Exactly. She’s on at 835, as a matter of fact. There you go.
SPEAKER 16 :
I’ll talk about that.
SPEAKER 17 :
If somebody calls you midway through your second hour, and they love you, and they just want something to say about the E-Man, you know you’re going to talk to them.
SPEAKER 16 :
Out. No, I’m not. You know you’re going to.
SPEAKER 17 :
Nope, nope, nope. Let me leave you with this. I was going to say, if this does happen, we can talk about it Monday, but we can’t because I’m filling in.
SPEAKER 16 :
Are you off again?
SPEAKER 17 :
No, no, no, no. The opposite of off. Five straight hours. I’m filling in for Stegall. Filling in for Stegall.
SPEAKER 16 :
Wow, look at you. Well, I’ll be listening to you in the middle of the night because I’m going to be in Seattle. So I’ll be broadcasting from Seattle, Washington, Monday and Tuesday. It takes about nine days to get there on Alaska Airlines, the airline that shut down completely the other day. So that’s good news. So you know that’s coming. Those are my choices. Yeah, that’s what I’ll get the announcement. Ladies and gentlemen, we have decided to ground all of our aircraft, and I’ll be taking the Wells Fargo wagon to Seattle. So wish me luck.
