Yesterday, President Trump asked his administration, those in the White House, to launch its own investigation, which reporters say could involve going through in fine detail over a million documents. that potentially were related to Joe Biden’s auto pen. We’re learning that there were hundreds and hundreds of last-minute pardons that were signed by the auto pen. We don’t even know, and we suspect that Joe Biden did not know who these people were. We’re going to talk about that a little bit later in this hour. Also, the White House rolled out an interactive map yesterday that will allow you to see firsthand how the One Big Beautiful Bill could potentially benefit you. You can just go online, you can click on it, and it will bring up state-specific information for your particular state. We’re going to be sharing that with you a little bit later as well. Breaking news overnight, though, as the the story that just won’t go away, the Jeffrey Epstein story. In a rare move, the House Speaker, Mike Johnson, is urging the Justice Department to make public all files related to Jeffrey Epstein. Now, I say this is a rare move because the Speaker typically stays in line with the message coming from President Trump in the White House. Yesterday, President Trump seemed to be a little uncertain as to what all the fuss is about. Why we continue to talk about Jeffrey Epstein. He talked about the fact that he’s been dead for quite some time now. And we’re going to get to that in just a moment. But Speaker Johnson asked yesterday that Attorney General Pam Bondi ask her to clarify her previous comments about possessing a so-called client list that was tied to Epstein’s network. Johnson said, it’s a very delicate subject, but you should put everything out there. Let the people decide. And that’s what I’m hearing a lot from you, is you want to see it, and then you’ll decide just how important or not important it is. Johnson told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson in an interview that was released shortly after he and other Republicans blocked a House vote yesterday that Democrats framed as a push for the White House to hand over the files. Johnson said, look, we need the information out there so that we all can make our own choices. Here’s Speaker Johnson.

I’m for transparency. We’re intellectually consistent in this. Look, Reagan used to tell us we should trust the American people. I believe in that principle. I know President Trump does as well, and I trust him. I mean, he put together a team of his choosing, and they’re doing a great job. It’s a very delicate subject, but we should put everything out there and let the people decide it. I mean, the White House and the White House team are privy to facts that I don’t know. I mean, this isn’t my lane. I haven’t been involved in that. But I agree with the sentiment that we need to put it out there. And, you know… Pam Bondi, I don’t know, when she originally made the statement, I think she was talking about documents, as I understood it, that were on her desk. I don’t know that she was specific about a list or whatever, but she needs to come forward and explain that to everybody.

Speaker Mike Johnson, and again, the Washington Post reporting that the speaker has never broken so publicly with President Trump on an issue. Multiple factions have emerged amid the MAGA movement. Because I think a lot of people are just disillusioned. They’re confused on why this information is not being released. I mean, let me ask you, do you believe the Attorney General when she says that there is no list? Maybe we spent the last several years thinking there was a list. A lot of people told us there was a list. And in an earlier statement earlier this year, the Attorney General herself suggested there was a list. When she very publicly talked about the fact that she had the files on her desk, Now, was she just talking generically, meaning that there were files on her desk and she hadn’t had a chance to review them yet and she didn’t know what was in them? Is that what she was saying? And then as she got into the files, she realized, hey, there’s no list here. Is that believable? The president yesterday, in talking with reporters, said, seem to be a bit mystified on what all the fuss is about. In cut number one, the president talking to reporters saying, hey, why are we still talking about Epstein? Here’s the president.

Why do you think your supporters in particular have been so interested in the Epstein story? I don’t understand. I don’t understand why they would be so interested. He’s dead for a long time. He was never a big factor in terms of life. I don’t understand what the interest or what the fascination is. I really don’t. And the credible information has been given. Don’t forget, we went through years of the Mueller witch hunt and all of the different things, the Steele dossier, which was all fake. All that information was fake. But I don’t understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody. It’s pretty boring stuff. It’s sordid, but it’s boring. And I don’t understand why it keeps going. I think really only pretty bad people, including fake news, want to keep something like that going. But credible information, let them give it. Anything that’s credible, I would say let them have it.

I think that they aren’t releasing the files because people are having a hard time separating people who might have flown on this plane, people who did business with them, from people who were worried about having been in his group. And they don’t know how to sort that out and release it to the public without a bunch of conspiracy theories. And they’re not going to get any cooperation from any politicians so long as that information is not out there and everything Trump wants to do is going to stall.

Yeah. So, Judy, if that is the case, if what you’re saying is right, why don’t they just say that? Why did Pam Bondi say that there is no list? Why didn’t she just say that, hey, we have the list, we’re still sorting through it?

I have no idea because I’m not Pam Bondi, but if I were, I think I would have released it in sections like, okay, here’s people who Just throw it on the plate. Doesn’t mean they had anything to do with it. Here’s people who just did business with them. Now, we still have one more list coming of people who actually were on the island, who may have been to his parties, not a normal party, and done it that way. And at least people would begin to have some kind of belief that they’re not just covering everything up. I mean, there’s some wild rumors that it’s Trump’s family and all kinds of stuff.

No, I mean, this Epstein thing, I’ve got a couple things on my mind about it. One… I think this is the first time I’ve ever disagreed with Trump, and I’ve voted for him three times. And another thing that really frustrates me about it is there’s a lot of information out there about Epstein’s – I think it was his father-in-law being tied to the Israeli government. I think he was like some kind of a spy. So there’s a lot of implications with that and them having this evidence and – You know, what do you call it? It’s like when they they have the videos, but they don’t want to release them and they’re holding it against. They’re holding it against all the politicians to get their will done.

That’s what a lot of people think. And another thing that people need to realize is that this is about this is about pedophilia. This is a pedophile ring. So I don’t hear people say that very often. But I mean, when you think about this. This is one of the most heinous things that’s ever been. And I think that I think Trump is completely wrong. And another thing, one more thing, Trump and people need to realize this. Trump doesn’t control MAGA. MAGA is not like some creepy left thing. Trump does not control MAGA. MAGA is bigger than Trump. And so when you say that MAGA is fractured, earlier I heard you say that. I totally am sorry, but I have to disagree with you on that. And I’m curious why you think that. And also I have a follow-up on my opinion of that as well, if you don’t mind. Sure.

Well, John, it’s real simple. I mean, just seeing some of the people that I associate with MAGA that have been supporters of Trump are saying that, well, you know, they’re disagreeing with the president. Yesterday the president kind of just downgraded this, saying, you know, what’s the big fuss? Why are people suddenly interested in Epstein? Well, people have always been interested in Epstein. So some of the people that have traditionally been supportive of the president are disagreeing with him right now and saying that this information needs to be released. So that’s why I say there’s a bit of a fracture happening here.

I understand there will be some blind followers that do follow like that, but in my opinion, I don’t think MAGA supporters are stupid at all. I think MAGA supporters are actually probably the more intelligent of voters that are out there, and I think they’re the people that are sick of it and have been dealing with it and paying attention to what’s been going on more than anybody.

Well, I would I would agree with you, John. MAGA voters are very high information voters, as the president would say. And look, it’s just the whole thing is a bit disturbing because I’m like so many of you. I believe that there is a list. I believe there’s always been a list. I think she has kind of built this case up only for it to just sort of flop, if you will, when she announced last week that, hey, there’s no list, sorry. You’ve pretty much seen everything that we have. I think people just aren’t believing it. And a caller earlier asked me, well, what am I basing my premise of that this is dividing MAGA? Well, you look at President Trump’s approval rating. His latest approval rating was just under a 50. When he gets into the high 40s, that’s when there’s trouble. And it dropped pretty quickly, primarily, I believe, because of the way this has been handled. Now, he can quickly recover. All he has to do is to instruct the DOJ to give us all the information. Let us decide. That’s basically what House Speaker Mike Johnson is saying. And that’s another example of someone who Mike Johnson, like him or not, He’s pretty much been loyal to President Trump. Yesterday, he kind of broke with President Trump, saying everything should be released so that you and I can decide for ourselves. Another texter says, Biden’s DOJ had four years with that file. I’m great. Thank you, Joey. Hey, just real quickly, you know, everybody is screaming for information, and we all get it, right? My question is, you know, are people prepared for it? Meaning, you know, what if there are Israeli people involved, like has been rumored? and suddenly Congress decides they’re going to pull all funding from Israel, and then the Middle East blows up. Everything we’ve been working for blows up in the Middle East because what? We had to find out Epstein stuff. What if there are CEOs involved of major Fortune 100 companies? Well, now we’re going to boycott all those companies, of course, right? The stock market’s going to tank. right everybody’s 401k he’s going to tank right so i think people have to understand no one wants and you know trump right he’s downplaying it because that’s what trump does he’s the master salesman so i think you know we have to trust The president, we’ve trusted him all along. Yesterday, Republican Representative Thomas Massey from Kentucky introduced what is called a discharge petition, which would force a vote in the House of Representatives to fully release all Jeffrey Epstein cases. Now, you might think, well, typically the speaker might— not allow this to come to a vote. He may not put it on the calendar. But with Speaker Mike Johnson yesterday telling Benny Johnson on his podcast that he thinks it should all be released, I think there’s a chance that this passes. And as the caller mentioned a minute ago, the president, I don’t know, is he downplaying it? Or does he just really believe there’s nothing there? He has repeatedly expressed his support of Attorney General Pam Bondi, that she’s doing a good job. He wrote a very long post on True Social yesterday. I’m not going to read it all, but he basically talked about how you just can’t believe some of this stuff. And he reminds us of how just a few years ago it was Russia, Russia, Russia. And I think he’s suggesting that maybe the media is making more of the Epstein case than there really is. He wrote, The president said, I’ve had more success in six months than perhaps any president in our country’s history, and all these people want to talk about with strong prodding by the fake news and the success star of Dems is the Jeffrey Epstein hoax. 800-655-6453. Yeah, big trafficking news. This man is so passionate about trafficking, no one has ever matched it. He’s the only president to ever put these executive orders out, as well as backed them up with nine bills, nine legislative bills. to back that up. He has talked on it. He’s helped people. This is not something that he is doing purposely. He’s getting all eyes on this subject. And for the sake of even his reputation going down the toilet, he is getting everybody on this subject. And at the end of it, he says he went up against The corporations, he went up the government, he went up against educational sector, the media, religious institutions, all of it because they’re involved. So much of the people are involved. So this man is not lukewarm on this subject matter.

um all right marla is in connecticut welcome marla you’re on the mike gallagher show thank you for taking my call well many people are talking about epstein what about all the victims in 2006 he was arrested in west palm beach and he pleaded guilty to many things including prostitution he served 13 months in prison and it was pretty much swept under the under the covers because um the police chief there was very unhappy with the state’s attorney at the time feeling he tanked his own case a 14 year old stepmother came forward when um it came to light that she had been at his place and um there had been um sexual contact going on 36 victims turned out but um he got day release and he stayed for 13 months he got out every day for work release And it all sort of just tainted. Pedophiles don’t change. I’ve been a nurse for over 50 years now, and pedophiles just don’t change.

So, Marla, let me ask you, Marla, and you make a good point about the victims, but do you think that if there is a list that it should not be released?

No, I think that everything should be released. Many victims, after that happened, many of the victims did not come forward because they were pretty shabbily treated. The other thing is, Grisline, that’s in jail, she’s in there because of sex trafficking when she was with him. And she’s got 20 years. Nobody takes 20 years if it didn’t really happen. So I just think we’re forgetting the victims, we’re forgetting a long line of things that happened, and we’re forgetting that if you ask any law enforcement person or medical person pretty much, they’re going to tell you that pedophiles don’t change.
