Elizabeth Warren says she thought Joe Biden was up to the job because he was able to stand. More Democrats go to El Salvador to get more famous. I mean, stand up for Abrego Garcia. And David Hogg joins the DNC and promptly announces he’ll fund challengers to Democrat incumbents. SPEAKER 11 :
I love the bird sounds. So the White House has placed a bunch. How many were out there? Did they have? Did they give a count? Was it 100? It kind of looked like more than 100, if I’m being honest. But they had 100 or so of these signs. And they’re just like yard signs. But they’re a little different than just basic yard signs. They’re signs that feature criminal, illegal aliens on them. These are people that came in illegally and kept committing crimes on top of it. And… All in. I’ve never seen something like this in the White House’s lawn, though. It’s all in the White House lawn. They all put it all around the White House. And so when the press, when the press all goes, when they all go to the White House, guess what they get to walk past? They get to walk past all of that. They get to see all of that.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, they do all their hits, and that’s the backdrop.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
So in their hits, they have to show these illegal immigrants.
SPEAKER 11 :
They have to show all of that in the back. I mean, they also list… So what you’re seeing, if you’re watching this simulcast, is the… The lawn. I don’t know exactly which lawn. It’s the lawn of the White House. And they’ve got all of these yard signs out. And the yard signs are all about every one of these criminal illegal aliens. And it lists homicide or rape or, gosh, some of these are horrible. Murder. There’s like a ton of murder. A ton of murder and rape that we see on there. And those are the signs that they have. And it’s stunning. Like a sexual assault of a child. And that’s all on these lawn signs that Juan is showing you. So as Kane noted, now imagine, because that’s where they go when they enter. That’s where they enter. The press goes through. And so when they’re doing their hits, they have their satellite trucks outside and then they have the the reporters go in and they have these. That’s those are their hits or that’s where they do all their hits. And they’re all in the background, as Kane noted. Very interesting indeed. Welcome to the show. Dana Lash with you. We are at the top of this very first hour here. And this we’ve already we’re in the first 100 days of the Trump presidency. And the media, I really think, is just trying to – well, I’ve got a slew of competing headlines. And my top two, I think, are the most representative of this. So just case in point. So Trump’s done more in 100 days than Biden did in four years. Okay, that’s one. And then an unpopular president continues to push radical changes, Cain. It’s crazy. What do you mean radical changes? Can you believe he’s adhering to the law? I mean, what? It’s like the stuff that we’re dealing with. Let’s look at that one first because that’s a fun one. It comes from MSN Garbage. It also ran over at WAPO. They’re saying that he’s an unpopular president pushing radical changes. And now, wait a minute here. What? I know. That’s what they’re trying to say. They said that, well, they acknowledge that there’s a competing narrative. Now, here’s the thing. They have a poll from WAPO, ABC News and Ipsos. I’ve only looked at ABC News, which was it wasn’t totally oversampled Democrat, but there were. I mean, if you wanted to pick nits, there’s, you know, there’s like a few more Democrats. I’ve not looked at the other ones yet. But they said, oh, his approval rating is down. Support from immigration policies deteriorate. OK, that’s just a that’s. Oh, wow. That’s just so false. So false, Kane. So false. Right. Well, and it’s the media and they’re trying to go. They’re trying to do this thing where they’re trying to argue that. Well, you know, it’s Trump is just like just sending people into countries that, you know, just randomly deporting basic Americans. This is the way that they put it when they when they present these questions to the people that they’re surveying. And keep in mind, these are phone surveys. OK, who even is it? I mean, how many of it is cell phone anyway? How much of it is cell phone? How many of them are like me? Because I will answer if I think you’re a survey. And if I answer and you ask me, if you ask me a leading question, I will melt you. And then they hang up on me because I’m just done. Done with the stupid questions, these push questions that they ask. Now, the economy, I don’t like saying this, but that’s where they got him. Now, we’ll hold up. Let’s lay this out here on the line. So the immigration, a lot of this… Actually, when you look at other surveys, that’s why these are kind of outliers. And it’s the structure by which they ask these questions. Like, oh, do you think that… I guess somebody calls you and says, well, POTUS is deporting random Americans to notorious South American jails or Central American jails. What do you think of that? I mean, if you’re just going off that question alone, you’re like, wow, that’s pretty bad. If you don’t know anything about it. Now, you’ve got to remember, the average person does not follow along with us like you and I do. So when you present a question like that to them, they’re just going off of that. Right. So I can’t you can’t fault them because they’re being lied to. But now the economy, that’s different. The economy. We knew this was going to happen. And I told you this was going to happen. And this is part of the bumpy ride. This is why Congress has to work really, really fast. Otherwise, he’s going to start tanking because all of his success is dependent upon all of that. Again, broken record. However, I’m right. This the feeling of double taxation is a very real thing. And making sure that we’re getting all of these trade deals cemented is so astronomically important. And so on that end, right now, it’s a bumpy ride. People are asking what they think about the economy. And it doesn’t help that you got all these competing narratives out there about tariffs and the history of tariffs and how they’re being leveraged here. And I will say, and this is where it gets sticky, part of… What because he has such an active role in this, he’s not just letting the secretary of the Treasury lead. He has such an active role on this that it’s he’s incredibly more involved. And I think that he needs to I still think that he needs to continually go out there and tell people, follow me. This is why he voted me. It’s going to voted for me. It’s going to be sticky right here. But they are making a decision in these polls that are predicated upon what’s happening right now. They’re not looking at the bigger picture. So it can be misleading, especially when you look at the way that some of the questions are asked. But the economy is where it’s bumpy. And they feel this double taxation. Like I said, Congress has to make this stuff permanent. And it’s got to get done or that number is going to get worse. And then it will bleed over into everything else. Because if people are dissatisfied economically, they’re going to look and see, well, where else in my life am I dissatisfied? That’s how it’s going to work. We’re going to come back to this. Did you guys watch the sit-in that Democrats had? Democrats were so busy over the weekend game. They sat on the steps of Congress. Did you guys see any of this stuff? They had Jeffries, Cory Booker, Hakeem Jeffries. They were on the Capitol steps and they live streamed. How long did they sit there? Forever. They live streamed a, quote, conversation with the American people to focus on our common values. Oh, gosh, it’s already too long. Common values, blah, blah, blah. They sat there for, I don’t know. They were there Sunday morning. Members of Congress were there all weekend. They were trying to… I don’t… I don’t know why. The only thing that I can think of is they were trying to generate energy against the budget bill that they’re fighting over. I’m not quite sure. It seems the most accurate came, but they were out there and it was kind of, wasn’t it warm a little bit in DC this weekend? They’re in like long black sleeve t-shirts. And it’s not because they’re like me and we’re retired goth. It’s because I don’t know why, but I’m just sitting here like you’re going to be sweaty and smelly and you’re sitting there on the steps and full sun doing what live streaming. How many people even watch that live stream? Good night. Yeah, they were live streaming it. They had, I mean, it’s all virtue signaling. I couldn’t, I watched approximately one minute and 20 seconds, some odd seconds of it. I was done. I’m like, nope, I don’t get paid. And I’m sorry. There’s no one in the world could ever give anybody else enough money to actually sit of their own volition to watch this. Not there. But I don’t I to me, it seemed kind of it was a goofy and they did it. They did it on Sunday morning. And if you’re trying to reach younger voters. And well, anybody Sunday morning is like the worst time to do that. Everybody’s either going to church or they’re sleeping in. That’s all they’re doing. They’re not going to sit. They’re not going to get up and watch because they think that, you know, whatever you’re going to say is so incredibly important that it was just it was silly. They Democrats are so incredibly unpopular. And that’s what the media is really trying to patch up by focusing on a lot of the first hundred day stuff. The Democrats are so incredibly unpopular and there is a bigger chasm on the left between their factions than there is on the right. Like the right, you know, they’ll kind of grit their teeth and go along with it so that they can get their 80-20 objectives right. Democrats, though, not at all. And they’re arguing with each other. The leadership doesn’t agree with the foot soldiers. Foot soldiers don’t even agree with each other. I don’t know who’s driving the ship. It’s a mess. But I think it’s playing into their hands. And I talked a little bit about that last week. So you want to hear my tinfoil hat theory? I feel like they’re trying to make it look like they are as chaotic and undisciplined as possible. And I really I feel like they want to demoralize their voters so that they can then do a hurt rescue and then come in in 28 with this glorious candidate who’s going to bring order to the masses. And they’re all going to go for it, hook, line and sinker. It’s going to be a total Hollywood rollout. Mark my words right now. Mark this moment because that’s what’s going to happen. And I feel like it’s all stagecraft. They’re letting it get low so they can bring it back. Because what do people like? A comeback story. They love that. They love rallying for what they think is the underdog. Democrats have not been the underdog in a long time. They forgot how to use that. So I feel like this is all on purpose. That’s me. That’s my tinfoil hat theory. So we got a whole bunch of other stuff too, including this stupid story. So first off, I watched… All the elected officials went to Rome and they went to the Pope’s funeral. Some of the photos that came out of there were extraordinary. One of my favorites was, well, in the video clip, too, is when Trump was going to sit down and talk to Zelensky, Volodymyr Zelensky. And Emmanuel Macron was coming up like he was like, hey, guys, I’m also going to get in the conversation. And he comes up to the side and Trump is like he wouldn’t even shake his hand. There’s there’s Macron one showing you now and then up. No, no. Trump’s like, no, I’m not touching your hand, but also sit the hell down because I’m going to talk to this guy. See, there’s two seats and I had him remove the third one. You go away now. I’m going to sit down. And then they sat down and talked. That was fascinating. Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron did not want Trump to sit and talk to Zelensky one on one. They did not want that to happen. We’re going to talk more about that coming up. We also have Stephen Yates on and I’m going to I’m going to have Stephen Yates react to that. I’m sure you’ve seen it react to that clip as well. So we have a lot to get into, including the latest with immigration. The dude who stole Kristi Noem’s bag and it was a Gucci bag. Are you letting that out of your sight, girl? Oh, if you wondered about their legal status, well, guess what? They weren’t. Gold prices have surged over 40% since January 2024, consistently reaching new highs. According to Goldman Sachs research, the upward trend is expected to persist due to strong demand from central banks. SPEAKER 16 :
The people out there that follow their politicians off a cliff are a bit of a problem. Many pensions are down billions after the market sell-off from the tariffs. Could this mean pension cuts down the road? Some people out there fail to see the forest for the trees. Check out the Watchdog on Wall Street podcast on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts.
SPEAKER 10 :
And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It’s time for Dana’s Quick Five.
SPEAKER 11 :
All right, so Canada, they’re considering their future right now. I’ve been reading a couple of pieces about this. But this, I don’t know if they’re going to go for liberal Mark Carney or not. But it’s conservatives like Pierre Polivere against Mark Carney. Pierre Polivere follows me on X. So for that reason alone, I like him. And also because he’s funny. But we’ll ask Stephen Yates about this coming up. But it’s a big choice for Canada. Carney’s leading in the polls, though. I know, however much you want to. More Americans are financing groceries with buy now, pay later loans, and more people are paying those bills late. I’m going to tell you, Republicans in Congress need to act. Because this is a LendingTree survey. They found 25% buy now, pay later users. Those are groceries. That’s groceries. It’s up from 14% in 2024. This just made my heart fall to the floor. It’s groceries. Come on, guys. The hell is happening in D.C.? Get it together. This is sickening. This is groceries. People are buying out, paying later so that they can eat.
SPEAKER 10 :
The Biden policies had consequences.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, Biden policies. And we could fix this really quickly if we just were able to get this budget bill and get all this stuff done and make this stuff permanent. It’s killing me. Americans are getting flashbacks to 2008. Tariffs are stoking recession fears. That’s not a new headline that was always going to be part of the examination of this strategy. But it’s a horrible story from CNBC that buries the lead five graphs in. And if I was working at CNBC, I would fire the editor that allowed that story to run and the journalist that wrote it because AI could do better. Let’s see. A street party horror SUV plows into a huge crowd and kills nine revelers in Vancouver. The suspect, 30, known to police. Oh, I’m so shocked. Nine people killed. Nine people. They said the 30-year-old man was known to police. He was taken into custody before he was arrested at the scene. He was trying to flee as well. We have a lot more on the way, including the media. 60 Minutes anchor Scott Pelley lost his mind on air. We’ll play it. What does living better mean to you? Is it more money? A bigger house? SPEAKER 11 :
Welcome back to the program. We are at the bottom of this first hour on Monday. I hope you all are having a really good week. Kicking it off if you’re listening terrestrially across the nation with old Duran Duran as we rolled in. All right, so I don’t watch 60 Minutes anymore. I did when I was a kid because my parents watched it. And that was usually my signal to start getting ready for bed is when I heard 60 Minutes. Because it was after dinner and then 60 Minutes kicked in. And it was always Sunday night. So in my head, whenever I hear that clock, I’m immediately like, oh, I got to… And it doesn’t matter where I am. I’m like, oh, I got to… Oh, wait a minute. I’m not a little teenage Dana anymore. So Scott Pelley, when I was watching… like in the mid to late 90s, early aughts, he was kind of, he wasn’t as large of a presence on 60 Minutes as he is now. So he kind of, he was sort of like a sideline reporter. I don’t know how else to put it. Now, you know, he’s one of the marquee names that they have there. And this whole story, I’ve never seen, I’ve never actually seen anybody get do like two minutes hate like this on TV before. And they’re upset because of 60 Minutes or sorry, they’re they’re they’re president. So if you don’t know, we talked a little bit about this last week with regards to media. So Bill Owens, sorry, not the president. I meant to say producer, the other P. He’s a an executive producer. Bill Owens is an executive producer at 60 Minutes. He’s been there for quite a long time. And he quit last week because of what he said was a lack of editorial freedom. And they’re blaming the Trump administration for it. The way that they are positioning it, they’re acting as though the Trump administration is pushing him out because they don’t like free speech. That’s the way they put it. I think it was this memo that came out last week where Owens was blasting the administration. He says, it’s clear that I’m not allowed to run the shows. I always run it to make independent decisions based on what is right for 60 minutes. And that it ended up getting out. You know, he’s it is. It’s a lawsuit that’s happening right now over that Kamala Harris interview. And that’s what the Trump lawsuit’s about. And he… When he… All this happened like the beginning of last week. And… It’s obviously very far left. And the interview that is in question is the interview that they did with Kamala Harris in October leading up to the November election. And it was a this actually is correct way to describe it. I very rarely use this phrase, but this legitimately was deceptively edited. Remember the answers that she would give, and there was a release of her full answer compared to what aired on 60 Minutes, and it’s night and day. One answer, she’s meandering all over. She can’t explain anything. She doesn’t seem to demonstrate a grasp of the subject matter. And then in the next minute, they do these weird jump cuts where they tried to make it less obvious, but they literally cleaned up her answer for her. And how is that not an in-kind… Donation, really. But anyway, so Owens wrote this memo because now this lawsuit, I mean, that’s exactly what they’re accusing him of, right? And so he’s come under a lot of fire, this Bill Owens guy. He’s come under a lot of fire because of this and this looming lawsuit. And they’re blaming their malfeasance on Owens. The administration, which is crazy. And so so he left as a result of all of that because he doesn’t feel like he can do fake news anymore when people are calling out fake news. And that’s ultimately what it is like. How dare I be corrected after doing fake news? So Scott Pelley, again, going back to him, he went on this rant against because Paramount now owns CBS. So he went on this rant against Paramount. We can’t play the video even though it’s a news show and it’s absolute fair use because they’ll make you fight it out in court and they’ll say it’s a copyright infringement. So unless you have endless oodles of money, we can only play for you the audio. But listen to Scott Pelley have his tantrum on air. This is embarrassing.
SPEAKER 04 :
Stories we pursued for 57 years are often controversial. Lately, the Israel-Gaza war and the Trump administration. Bill made sure they were accurate and fair, he was tough that way. But our parent company Paramount is trying to complete a merger. The Trump administration must approve it. Paramount began to supervise our content in new ways. None of our stories has been blocked, but Bill felt he lost the independence that honest journalism requires. No one here is happy about it. But in resigning, Bill proved one thing. He was the right person to lead 60 Minutes all along.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, for the love. Oh, he did such a great… That’s how they’re presenting this. Oh, he did such a great thing. They had… I mean, the way that they edited that Kamala Harris interview was… I’ve never seen anything like that before, actually. And I rarely ever get to say stuff like that. And so he’s mad because it’s the… absolute journalistic malpractice is making the merger it’s putting a wrinkle in things so to speak that and this lawsuit and so he doesn’t feel like he wouldn’t he wouldn’t apologize for it because trump sued the lawsuit i think isn’t it like something like 20 billion dollars they sued cbs for right and the controlling shareholder of paramount sherry redstone wants them to settle because she doesn’t want to jeopardize the merger cbs and paramount global they’re they’re trying to the mergers with skydance media and they’re trying to get all of this settled before this merger because they don’t want the fcc which is under the administration’s control to halt The transaction, which I don’t think that they would. But this is just them trying to they just don’t want to be held accountable for for fake news, for actual propaganda. That was propaganda. That wasn’t a journalistic enterprise. And for this a crusty old bat to sit there. on his little stool in front of his little green screen and talk about journalistic integrity, what he’s doing is defending a guy who gave an in-kind campaign contribution to Kamala Harris just like, what, two weeks? Not even two weeks. Before the November election, they edited her nonsensical answer to make sense. That’s why it looked so weird and it was jumpy and they had these weird cutaways because they were trying to hide from all of that. They they that was propaganda. They they engaged in propaganda and then they’re mad because they get called out for it. And they’re mad because the propaganda that that’s that’s an absolute. They were trying to tilt the scale. And when you get to public airwaves that close to an election, you’re supposed to remember what the whole point was. They gave Kamala Harris all this time and attention. They finessed her interview answers and totally ignored Trump. You can’t do that. That’s against federal election. That’s against campaign or federal law regulating campaigning. Do you have a… The timer starts so many weeks before an election. And if you’re on public airwaves and because we we know about it because we broadcast on a lot of terrestrial hundreds of terrestrial stations around the country. And so we have to be aware of that. Like if we have one Republican candidate on, you know, a week before the election by law, we have to give equal time to a Democrat candidate. And so it’s that equal time consideration that the Harris campaign is being accused and CBS being accused of violating. So that’s the suit. And it’s accurate. I mean, that’s what they know. They’re going to have to settle with him. It’s accurate. But for Bill, for Scott Pelley to do this, this is so lame. By the way, what in the world is going on with CBS? Can we talk about this Bill Belichick? I don’t even follow football. I even know about this. Stop it. So Bill Palachuk sits down for this interview and it’s their Sunday morning sports show. And he was asked about his relationship with this chick that’s like, how much younger is she than him, Kane?
SPEAKER 1 :
50.
SPEAKER 11 :
She’s not 50 years younger than him.
SPEAKER 10 :
I think it’s about 50. Is he 80? Is she 30?
SPEAKER 16 :
He’s in his 70s and she’s 24, I think.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. It’s 50 years. anyway he was asked about the origin of their relationship and the girl the uh girlfriend air quotes just barks off camera we’re not discussing that can we play any of this or is this the same deal play some audio listen to this that’s the
SPEAKER 08 :
Jordan was a constant presence during our interview. You have Jordan right over there. Everybody in the world seems to be following this relationship. They’ve got an opinion about your private life. It’s got nothing to do with them, but they’re invested in it. How do you deal with that?
SPEAKER 14 :
Never been too worried about what everybody else thinks. Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right. How did you guys meet?
SPEAKER 11 :
Not talking about this.
SPEAKER 08 :
No? It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.
SPEAKER 11 :
It is so weird. Because it’s supposed to be like a Sunday morning, like a great, relaxed sports discussion. Okay, can we put up the photo of just him in his sweatshirt? So Kane thinks that she’s a prostitute, that he’s just paying.
SPEAKER 10 :
What? Is that what you just said? That’s not what I said. Steve said that? Steve had said that. Steve said that. That’s the rumor that people are saying.
SPEAKER 11 :
The rumor is that Jordan Hudson is a pay-for-play girl.
SPEAKER 16 :
Those aren’t the words I used.
SPEAKER 11 :
Not verbatim, but I mean, come on. Come on! That’s the rumor. The rumor is that she’s a prostitute and he’s paying her. That’s the rumor. Now, the only reason that I would give that any weight is I want you to look at how this man’s dressed. Bill Belichick goes on a national television show. Is it supposed to be derelict chic? I mean, I guess it’s stylized that way. The neck is too loose. It’s a faded, tattered sweatshirt.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s comfy.
SPEAKER 11 :
And I’m sure it was purchased that way. You don’t wear that on national television. And no self-respecting female. Ladies, you know this is true. And men, you know you’re ladies. No self-respecting female is going to allow their man to go on national television dressed like that. I would have stopped the interview and made him change. And then I would have said this interview doesn’t continue if you note what just happened. And then allow him to do the interview. And dressed in a nicer shirt to where he looks nice and confident and relaxed and doesn’t look like a hobo that came from under a bridge. So that’s why I’m like, I kind of am entertaining that rumor because of that alone.
SPEAKER 10 :
I have like three or four shirts like that.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s irrelevant. Yard work is not sitting down doing a national interview.
SPEAKER 10 :
pizza wings in no you can see a little bit of pizza wing sauce on his shirt can you see that one can you pull it back up there because i think i saw a little pizza wing sauce look at that look at his opposite of his i don’t know what it is why is he wearing it why is he wearing that because it looks like he’s an abused old man that’s what it looks like and i i just sauce But if somebody rolled up in a news truck while I was doing yard work, that’s how you’d see me.
SPEAKER 11 :
No. You know what you’d do? You’d go, well, hang on. I’m doing yard work. Let me go get a button down on. No. That’s what you’d say. No, I wouldn’t. You would not be like, oh, let me wipe off this wing sauce off my mouth and then sit down in your lawn. You’re doing yard work shirt.
SPEAKER 10 :
If they rolled up on me and they want to put me on the news just like that, I’m not going to put a button down.
SPEAKER 11 :
Steve, would you sit down and do a national interview? If someone was like, hey, DJ Fun Uncle, we want to sit here and interview you. And would you show up in that kind of sweatshirt?
SPEAKER 16 :
No, but the thing is, that’s his brand. He always wears tattered stuff. It’s like his look. I don’t know why.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s true, actually.
SPEAKER 16 :
Why?
SPEAKER 11 :
Stop it. Men, any man who thinks, look, it’s fine if that’s your day-to-day. But that’s your day to day. And then you have what I call your show up stuff. OK, when you got to show up, you got to have the clothes to show up in and in your yard work sweatshirt. That ain’t it. I’m just saying. But no. But so long story short, that’s why I entertain Steve’s rumor that he heard. that she’s a paid side piece because no self-respecting woman who cares about her man is going to allow her man to show up like that. Not going to happen, and you all know it. Women get angry. You know why? Because it’s a reflection on us. We do it partially because we care about you, but also because it reflects on our strength as a woman. We don’t have it together if our men are going out there looking rough. You know what I mean? Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States.
SPEAKER 07 :
Got some power here. Now, we said we were anchoring ourselves in the moral traditions. When we came out here over 10 hours ago, Hakeem and I said this is a bigger moment than politics. This is a moral moment in America, and we were going to sit here for a long time. I didn’t know we’d be sitting for 10 hours, but it’s 10 hours and we’re still going, and we’ve got some great people here.
SPEAKER 11 :
But the moral traditions are… Hmm. Wow. Randy Weingarten was sitting right there with them. Interesting, you know? Randy Weingarten, the big old teacher’s union head. Steve was saying on break, he’s like, I don’t think people realize how much power that woman has. I mean, she was the reason why Fauci and the CDC wanted to extend school closures. She was wanting everything to shut down. And then she tried to retcon it afterwards. Not going to happen, but… That’s they and they didn’t accomplish anything. It just looks that just it’s another stunt. And this just feeds into the the the view of the Democrat voters have of their own party of being completely ineffective. Like, what are they doing? And in the meantime, you’ve got Bernie Sanders out there barnstorming and he sees a power vacuum and he’s trying to shove power. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez into that power vacuum. He’s he’s he’s trying to make her something. I don’t ever think that she’s actually going to really win anything. But I think that he’s trying to make her the next kingmaker, at least for the socialist left after himself. It’s very weird. The whole thing is very weird. And then you’ve got Democrats out there now trying to ratchet it up, which we’re going to jump into at the top of next hour. Remember when they tried to kill Trump, he got up and said, fight, fight, fight. And everyone said, oh, my gosh, that’s violent. That’s a call to violence. Now you have people like J.B. Pritzker and everybody else out there actually saying it’s time to resist and let’s get in the streets. We’re going to play that for you. when uh coming up in our second hour also joy reed tried to play historian and it ended up horribly we’re gonna have a little short history lesson on the fall of rome stick with us we got a lot more in store it’s our friends at home title lock look your home is your most valuable asset And you lock your car, you lock everything else. Why would you not lock down your home’s title? And because in the cyber world and AI and everything digital, it is so easy to scam people out of their home titles and your equity obviously is the target. They can forge your signature on a document, use a fake notary stamp, and then they pay a small fee with the county. And before you know it, your title’s been transferred out of your name. Usually people don’t know until it’s way too late. That’s when the foreclosure notices start, collection calls start, and then you have to spend a lot of money on lawyers to prove that your home is actually your home. You don’t want this happening to you. And this is why you need to be proactive. and protect yourself with home title lock. In fact, you can get a free title history report and a 14 day trial of million dollar triple lock protection using promo code Dana at home title lock.com. SPEAKER 01 :
Each community on Earth, if you take that away and try to distill us just down to white folks… We’ll be like Europe, an aging, slowly dying former empire. The Roman Empire didn’t survive because it didn’t have enough strength in its diversity. It suppressed its diversity and it died. If the U.S. wants to be the Roman Empire, keep voting the way you’re voting, y’all.
SPEAKER 11 :
Not only is she a racist, but she is an absolute bimbo, too. That’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard. It’s completely historically illiterate. And it’s embarrassing that she felt that that was an OK thing to say and then put it out online, ignoring the racial part of it. I think I’m I think I’m more offended by the stupidity of what she just said than I am the racism that is within it. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. That’s Joy Reid, who clearly Harvard is meaningless. That’s the kind of brain the brain trust that Harvard produces. You have her and then you have what’s his face? That pig kid, David Hogg. Those two are products of Harvard. Some of the dumbest people I’ve ever seen. So first, welcome back. If you’re joining us by listening terrestrially or if you’re watching the stream, Channel 347 Direct TV, the chat’s at Rumble. You can also find us at X and Facebook. So I love history. I am a major history buff. And one of my favorite things is reading about ancient empires and love reading about ancient Rome. And I watched, yes, I did watch the Hillsdale thing, the rise and fall of Rome. I’ve also been watching, I actually watched a thing last night that was about the construction of Roman roads and how all roads literally did lead to Rome. But more so to her point, she’s saying that the U.S. isn’t diverse enough and that lack of diversity is what killed Rome. That is a historical nonsense. And here’s why. In fact, it was too. You can now listen to me. It was too much. I don’t mean that in the racial sense because it comes down with having a shared identity. This is one of the ways that America learned from Rome’s mistake and our founders learn from Rome’s mistake because at some point there was admittance of, I mean, every scene, everybody got Roman citizenship. Everybody had Roman citizenship. And I don’t know. I don’t know if people realize that, uh, the Roman emperor at the time, uh, Krakala was the one who he, you know, that’s the sacking happened on his watch, but every free person in the empire got citizenship and, And previous emperors also did that. And at first it was looked at like it was Rome’s strength because they would conquer and then incorporate. And that was really different in those times. They didn’t just leave something conquered and they didn’t force them to adopt every single thing that they did within Rome. But they did incorporate it. They incorporated it namely so that they could say, OK, you’re a conquered emperor. You have to now give us X amount of foot soldiers. It’s one of the reasons why they had the biggest armies is because that was part of that incorporation. But there was never any diligence in in. creating that singular identity. Everyone talks about a Roman identity, but when we look in history, it was kind of all over the place. People wanted to consider themselves Roman, but there has to be a shared loyalty, a shared identity. And that was just one of the things. And that’s like one part of it that went into it. is that, you know, there was citizenship given to every single person. The overspending was crazy. The amount of spending was just even on Caesar’s time and before was entirely irresponsible. And then you had a lot of instability because there was a lot of corruption. There was a lot of intrigue. And the other thing, too, was you were losing a lot of traditional values. And, you know, the Eastern Empire was already starting its rise. And then you had the barbarians and you had the goths and you had no not like the cure goths but like you know the visigoths you had the goths and then you had the the huns that were all coming in so there were a lot of things that factored into it but i think one of the biggest was this strain On or an absence, a strain caused by the absence of a shared identity is one of the things that played into it. And the idea of being a Roman and what that meant and being a member of that empire was diluted as a result of that. In the United States, it’s one of the things that our founders did differently. They didn’t make a shared identity on a race or a religion or anything else, but it was about that animating spirit of liberty. So if you want to be free, then we are kinsmen. And that’s how the founders set this up. And in the Roman Empire, they didn’t even do that. They’re just like, okay, you’re here. You get a Roman citizenship. You get a Roman citizenship. And the absence of a shared value led to an absence of cohesion. It led to instability. It led to a complete dearth of… cultural values the whole nine yards. There was so much internal fighting as a result of that. Rome, by the time the Goths came in and sacked it, Rome had already sacked itself. That was just the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back. So everything that she’s saying, it’s literally actually the opposite of that, that created the fall of Rome. Now, in the United States, this is where this communist… this cultural warfare comes in. You know, the critical race theory. Everybody says DEI. DEI is an offshoot of critical race theory, CRT, which is the Frankfurt School of Marxism, right? It is an absolute Marxist theory. And I wrote about this 15 years ago. When Andrew Breitbart was still alive and I was working with Andrew Breitbart, Derrick Bell, who was a prominent academic, and he was at Harvard. He was kind of a mentor to Barack Obama. And I remember at the time we had this video. Barack Obama hugging Derrick Bell. And I thought it was pretty significant. The media tried to bury it and act like it wasn’t a significant thing. But we’re like, there’s a new there’s an introduction of a new tactic here. It’s critical race theory. It’s been it’s been exploding on college campuses since the 60s. And here’s how it’s affecting you now. All of this stuff that you see now with DEI and wokery all came from that. Every bit of it. It all came from CRT. And it started on American college campuses in the 60s. Derrick Bell was a huge proponent of it. And that gets into… That was a tactic to… identify, isolate, and destroy their shared cultural values by turning everyone against each other based on intersectionality. So that’s where all that comes in. Oh, if you have two women, if one woman’s a black woman and a white woman, well, she has one more intersectional box to check than the white woman. So now she has more power. Ah, but if this chick is gay, ah, then she may have, they may equal out then. But if one of them’s trans, then you see what I mean? It’s like a constant one-uppance. So instead of focusing on shared cultural values and that shared identity that’s based on liberty, you’re now weaponizing all of these other variables to destroy that. It’s an ingenious way to go after the thing that really did separate us from the Roman Empire was that singular shared identity. We had something around which we could rally and be loyal, and that was we are free to be free, and this is where you come to do it at. That’s why you can be from anywhere and you can be a kinsman. and freedom. And so that’s why what Joy Reid just said there is so incredibly embarrassing. I’m embarrassed for her. Can you imagine making a video and showing your ass like that with how stupid you are? I mean, there’s no excuse. She’s like a 50 something year old woman. There’s no excuse for you to have the money that you have, be on television and have the internet and then not understand the basic concepts of history like this. I mean, that’s truly something. But that’s the thing. And you know what? When you are removing the recognition of that shared cultural value that is your identity, because when you think about, well, what does it mean to be an American? At its most just distilled core, what does it mean to be an American? Free. Freedom. I think that’s what ultimately everyone would come down to, yeah? Freedom. So that is the American identity. Well, when you start weaponizing all of these other things around it and attacking it, destroying it, doing this, reinventing the Mao cultural revolution with going after and attacking our history like they did with our founders. Oh, our founders were imperfect. Thus, everything that they have done is imperfect. Well, that’s illogical on its face because all you got to do is read the Bible. I mean, David was imperfect. He came from one of the most imperfect lines in all of mandum. I mean, David, who sent Uriah to be killed so he could get Uriah’s wife. David. And from him came the Messiah. So that completely blunts that argument. But they don’t care. They want you to be separated from God so you don’t understand that. And they also want you to turn on your fellow man. and ignore that animating spirit of liberty so that we can destroy the social cohesion and obscure the identity of what it means to be American. Now, Rome did that to itself. Because they were allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry and giving everybody citizenship with just completely unfettered immigration, not even just immigration. It wasn’t people even coming to Rome. Rome would go elsewhere and they would conquer a land. Oh, you’re Romans now. Here’s your citizenship. We are incorporated. The incorporation was smart, but everything that happened afterwards was not. So there’s the she doesn’t even understand. She she doesn’t even understand the warning cry of the fall of the Roman Empire and what that means or what it looks like. in current times because she’s just focused on the racial aspect of it. Immigration is a variable. And that’s and racists like her don’t understand that. And I’ll say it again. Immigration is a variable because the identity, once again, is about being free. It doesn’t matter what your skin color is. It doesn’t matter what your religion is. Do you want to be free? And we are founded on Christian values, but we’re singular in that we do not demand that you worship as we worship or do what we do in order to accept the perks of freedom, for the lack of a better way to put it. I mean, it’s just one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. I’m like, golly, has she ever read a book? I don’t know, but it’s just truly stunning to me, but I had to, I had to talk about that. I had to talk about that. And the other part too is, you know, they were bringing in all of these, the, the goths and all of the, it sounds funny to say it now. Cause I immediately think of, you know, like a hot topic. So actually it’s emo. I immediately think like the cure or something, but they, the way that they ended up managing it and the twilight of their empire, uh, just hastened that the, the, the conditions that, uh, created the fall they’d already sacked themselves so it’s just a dumb completely dumb thing from her now a couple of things that i want to make sure we’re touching on so we had the white house correspondence dinner i we didn’t go did you go there or did you watch i don’t watch it i felt like we used to watch it before or like we would pay attention but yeah uh but uh apparently it was nobody watched it nobody cared because potus wasn’t there and nobody from the administration attended They had a club that launched that night. It’s a members only club that’s in Georgetown and you can pay a fee and you can hobnob with the administration. I don’t know how I feel about that, but that launched the same night as the White House Correspondents Dinner. I know the press secretary was there and there were other people that were there, but they they didn’t. I mean, did they even have a comedian host it? I don’t even think they did. So what was the point of it? They were patting themselves on the back. That’s all it was. They were just celebrating themselves, patting themselves on the back. That’s it. And that’s the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Now, coming up, two things that we’re going to get into. Dems are ratcheting up incitement. JB Pritzker calls for disruption. Also the latest with red state rhino hunting. So you don’t want to miss. We’ve got a lot in store as we move our partners that help bring you the program. SPEAKER 10 :
And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It’s time for Dana’s Quick Five.
SPEAKER 11 :
I didn’t even know this could happen. California is running out of license plate numbers. The license plate sequence that starts next year is kicking off. The one that began in 1980, it began with 1-A-A-A-O-O-O. And now, oh, I’m not even reading all this. It’s 9-U-B. I’m not good. No, not even. Anyway, I didn’t even know you could run out of numbers.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s what happens when you give illegals a bunch of license plates.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, dang, look at you. Hollywood Film and Television Productions. Everyone’s saying it feels empty. Is it in a death spiral? Aw, filming in Los Angeles is at a historic low. Remember how they were talking about implementing more tax credits and they never did it and people were mad? Yeah, so they said that even in the back lots, there’s nobody there. Nobody even around some of the bigger ones. Hollywood is facing intense competition for production in Atlanta, New York, places that do tax credits elsewhere. A lot of people have been coming to Texas. It actually creates money. But man, these policies are not good for business. They said shoot days declined over 22 percent. That’s wild. Also, aren’t things being made differently? Things are being shot different. Production’s different now. It’s very different. Virginia Goffrey, one of Epstein’s most prominent abuse survivors, apparently dies by suicide. Now, there were a lot of questions surrounding this because she had said at one point, I’m never going to commit suicide, etc. But Lorraine noted over the weekend that she and her husband apparently split. He took the kids. And so she was like already going through it. And that might kind of that’s sad it’s very sad uh southwest airlines oh my gosh why what would you do if you were on this flight a southwest airlines passenger stripped naked defecated on the seat as the plane landed it was a flight to chicago it was a female passenger they had to call the cops to midway because this lady was going crazy Yeah, you better burn. Just burn the plane because it’s just no good at that point. They had to take it out of service for cleaning. I hopefully with flames. That’s nasty. They said that. And then the last month they almost missed, almost hit a jet, a taxiing jet to sun glare, apparently. But they man, they they handled it. Can you imagine being on that plane, though? I don’t know. I keep seeing these videos of people who are told to get off the plane because they’re being disruptive. and then they fight and threaten to, you know, delay the whole plane. I’m surprised that passengers don’t intervene as much as I just, at all, I’m actually kind of surprised over all of that. All right, coming up, we got red state rhino hunting and who stole Kristi Noem’s purse again? What’s their history? We’ll discuss. And JB Pritzker, our partners over at All Family Pharmacy. This is one of my favorite, favorite people to work with. And not just because I’m actually a customer. It’s like that hair club for men thing. Not only am I, I’m also the president. Well, I’m not the president, but… I love what they do because medicines that you need and especially those therapeutics that the government tried to prevent you from getting during lockdown. Well, they have all of it. They’ve got the ivermectin. They got the hydroxychloroquine. They have all of the antibiotics. They also have your everyday medications and they’re affordable. It’s simple and it’s fast. If you don’t have insurance, not an issue because they have very straightforward affordable pricing. Online ordering. Shipping is just two to four days. You can also do overnight in a pinch, which I have done before because, oh my gosh, I was getting strut throat over Thanksgiving. I thought I was going to die. And I’m like, I couldn’t get to urgent care. There was a line. They got it to me overnight and I was immediately able to start getting better and still host Thanksgiving. It was amazing. And not infect everybody. It was so nice. The other thing that I love is everything is made in the US. You can’t say that with other medications or the inputs from other medications. But you can say that with All Family Pharmacy. None of the stuff comes from either China nor India. It’s all manufactured all from right here in the U.S. of A. SPEAKER 19 :
Never before in my life have I called for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption. But I am now. Yeah.
SPEAKER 18 :
They have to understand that we will fight their cruelty with every megaphone and microphone that we have. We must castigate them on the soapbox and then punish them at the ballot box.
SPEAKER 11 :
J.D. Pritzker there really trying to ramp it up. He’s calling for disruption. It gets crazier. It’s not just him doing it. You have other party leaders as well. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We’re at the bottom of the second hour. Yeah, he, well, okay. Can I just ask you a question? It might be obvious. When are they not in the streets? When are Democrats not in the streets? I mean, haven’t they been in the streets this whole time? Okay. Yeah. I mean, when are they not in the streets? So he was at a fundraiser in New Hampshire, and he encouraged people, let’s see, in his speech, to fight everywhere all at once. Mass protest, disruption. He says that, you heard him say, they cannot know a moment of peace. And he says that there are portraits of one day we put in museums, quote, reserved for tyrants and traitors. What? So we have… Pritzker on the heels of Maxine Waters and not just them. You also who else? Hakeem Jeffries. He’s been saying the same stuff, too. He’s he’s been out there with the same rhetoric. Hakeem Jeffries, the chair, he was said that he said that Republicans are the party of traitors. I’m looking reading his quotes. So this was OK. This is real quick. This is from the live stream that they did on the Capitol steps when they had their little sit in. Listen.
SPEAKER 17 :
Because at that time in American history, there were multiple parties. We’re in a two-party system right now. But there were multiple parties. And what Grant said is, there are but two parties in America right now. Patriots and traitors.
SPEAKER 11 :
You know Grant was a Republican, right? You absolute dumbass. I’m sorry. Forgive the Portuguese, but I’m not Dora the Explorer. Don’t make me screen time babysit your kids. I mean, Grant was a Republican. There are some of that. First, you got Joy Reid, who don’t even know what happened in Rome, at Fall of Rome. And then you got this guy who’s quoting Grant like he’s a Democrat. Grant was a Republican. Good night. But why in the world? They act like they’ve had a break, like they haven’t been out in the streets or done anything in a while. Why would anybody vote for that? Like this guy wants to, J.B. Pritzker wants to run for president. He wants to be a candidate in 2028. That man has so much baggage. He doesn’t have a shot in Hades. And he decides his, here’s the difference between him and the Newsom. Newsom is pretty much, it’s going to be a formality for him in 2028. But look at Newsom. Newsom is trying to outsmart the rest of his party and kind of run center while still triangulating over the left. Pritzker’s like, no, I’m just going to go run right towards the violence. He put his sandwich down long enough to try to incite violence. I mean, I don’t know. That’s what it sounds like. Remember when Trump, after he was shot and he got up and said, fight, fight, fight, and all the left was like, oh, that’s so mean. He’s calling for violence. But this is okay? What? Frederica Wilson, a Democrat out of Florida, per Red State, called upon people to threaten Congress just a few days ago. That they needed an uprising and people in the streets. I feel like also, is traitors a new buzzword that they’re all testing? Because she, all over the, like literally within the span of the same two days, she said it, Hakeem Jeffries said it, Cory Booker said it, J.B. Pritzker said it. Hang on. I got more. Several other. Oh, oh, no. Here’s something else that was noted. And Red State caught this. And I thought this was very smart of them. So Pritzker. Well, it was Red State. And then also this comes the quote comes from NBC. I feel like he was taking a pot shot at Gavin Newsom with us. Because he was saying, you know, hold people responsible. And then he took a shot, and this is NBC, quote, he also took a shot at other Democrats flocking to podcasts without singling anyone out. Quote, what I find ironic about the current conversation surrounding our party is the voices flocking to podcasts and cable news shows to admonish fellow Democrats for not caring enough about the struggles of working families. And they’re the same ones when it comes to relieving the struggles of real people have been timid and not bold. That does sound like he is taking a little bit of a shot at Gavin Newsom. Doesn’t it?
SPEAKER 02 :
Fight, fight, fight, fight.
SPEAKER 10 :
World star. And it points to the Borg mentality that the Democrats demand.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah. Well, exactly. Wow. They’re going to battle at some point. So you got because Newsom is pretty. So what happens when Newsom and his rush to the center crashes against this? This. That that fight’s coming. Who will win that, though? Because where where are the independents and well, the independents seem to be kind of in the middle, but the base, the Democrat base. I got to be honest, I feel like they’re on Pritzker’s side. at least with the rhetoric, right? Has anybody on that party condemned Pritzker’s language? Oh, that was a dumb question. Of course they haven’t. They haven’t done that at all. I mean, they have never been less popular than they are right now. They have not been less popular than they are right now. I mean, it’s a truly… Wow. And when you look at all of their the candidates, they’re kind of already trying to shape up with 28 of them. I think you’ll I think you would have Josh Shapiro and Gavin Newsom. Ultimately, that would be battling it out because I just I don’t think that the independents, they have to have the independents and moderates in order to win. And there’s no way they’re going to rope those guys in there. So. real quick and then we’re going to move on. But I really feel like they’re going to have to have a super progressive, they’ll have a super progressive VP pick. It’s going to be a moderate and you’re going to have a straight up communist as your VP. That’s what they’re going to do. They’re going to have to. I want to get moving because we got some red state rhino hunting underway. And with this, let me pull this up. Couple of things here. So we’re looking at Florida right now. I don’t know if you guys are. And I don’t expect everybody to understand all this stuff in Florida. The chairman of the Florida GOP is a guy named Evan Power. He is with the RNC, all that stuff. He apparently the executive director of the Florida GOP is a guy named Bill Helmick. And per John Cardillo, he was donating to Democrats benefiting his consulting practice. And apparently, I mean, the receipts are there for everyone to see. Apparently, Evan Power in 2012 was also donating to Democrats while they were trying to win the governor’s office and midterms there. Helmick was donating and Evan Power was also donating to Dems. Now, what’s more. Is the new thing is there are now they’ve admitted it because I guess Helmick was doing I guess he gave an interview and he was talking about people switching party affiliations so that they could they could win seats and get state money for their agenda. And apparently that’s like one of the examples of it. There are I’m just curious as to how many of these people switch their party affiliation to run for office and then get and then they get RNC money. So you have Democrats that would switch to become Republicans run in the state of Florida. And then because of that, they would be able to get Republican campaign money. And wow. I mean, it’s pretty. And Evan Powers responded to this. He’s apparently having a meltdown online currently because these receipts have come to light. And there are a lot of these Democrat operatives that are really running rampant in Tallahassee right now. And. And apparently one of them is the guy who’s running Florida GOP. He used to be a Democrat, apparently, donating just until recently. And then one of his big, as Cardillo noted, one of his big associates has been donating cash to Democrat causes. Texas is the same way. Same thing is happening here. But there’s going to be more receipts. I’m going to have more on this that I’m organizing for a post that’s going to go up on Substack. And I know it gets really into the weeds with it, but you really need to pay attention to some of these lawmakers. There’s it’s very easy to find. You can like it’s either open secrets or I think most states have websites where you can run through their information and put their name in there and you can find out who their biggest donors are, contributors are, what they spend their campaign money on, because if they get a war chest, they can help out other elected officials. Yeah. need to go run some of these people’s names in here uh because it’s pretty stunning and especially in florida and austin texas tallahassee and austin it is really amazing uh all of this this uh just this amount of overlap. And they all they and some of them have like some of the same big donors as well. But the other thing, too, is that Evan Power, you know, he’s basically calling the shots for legislation in Tallahassee. There is an active operation underway for Democrats that have basically infiltrated the Republican Florida Republican Party. And they are trying to thwart all actual good conservative legislation coming through, whether it’s saving taxpayer dollars, whether it is cutting taxes, cutting spending, cutting the scope of government. It’s pretty amazing. And it’s been noted that, you know, he might be chairman. This guy, Evan Power, might be chairman of the Florida GOP, but he doesn’t have any power if he can’t call legislators and tell them to stop legislating like Democrats. It’s unfortunate. We have more on the way. We’ve got Florida Man coming up. We’re also going to get into the person that stole Kristi Noem’s bag is apparently an illegal alien that came in. It was twice deported previously. It’s pretty. You can’t make this up if you try. We have more on the way. We’ve got Florida man coming up as we move. Gold prices have surged over 40 percent since January 2024, consistently reaching new highs. According to Goldman Sachs research, the upward trend is expected to persist due to strong demand from central banks. It’s stuff like this that’s made me take action and why I’ve bought precious metals like gold and silver. I partnered with a great company that makes it super easy to buy. Easy, transparent, and simple. And that company is Goldco. They’re a huge supporter of this show, and they’re the best at what they do. And right now, you can get a free 2025 gold and silver kit jam-packed with critical information about buying precious metals. It was a huge help, not just for me, but to all of you if you do this. And for my audience, you could also qualify for up to a 10% instant match in bonus silver. It’s a really great deal. So don’t miss out. Visit danalikesgold.com to learn more. SPEAKER 06 :
Americans of every background should be elated that Elon Musk’s Doge is finding millions of dollars of wasted taxpayer funds.
SPEAKER 03 :
The Doge team has found hundreds of billions of dollars in fraudulent spending. I mean, Social Security payments made to people who have been dead for a long time. Unemployment benefits being paid to people who aren’t born yet. To me, those things would be, I would imagine, celebrated pretty much universally.

SPEAKER 10 :
It’s his life mission to make bad decisions. It’s time for Florida Man.
SPEAKER 11 :
This headline, it’s like a Mad Libs. It’s just like the second time I’ve said that today. Underwear cocaine bust in the Florida Keys. Nets arrest of Miami man. Oh my gosh. Or you could just say Miami man arrested for having cocaine in his britches. 36 years old. Guy tried to smuggle cocaine. He was arrested in Monroe County. This name. A-N-T-W-A-N-E. Antwain. Antwain. was stopped by the sheriff’s office. A search resulted in almost 30 grams of cocaine. It was in his underwear, so he was taken into custody, transported to Monroe County Jail. It sounded like he was cooperative, which is boring.
SPEAKER 10 :
I feel like underwear didn’t have to be in the story at all.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, like he just had it in his britches, but no, apparently, hmm. Or you could be like these people, and they tried to flee a drug bust on a scooter. Oh, boy. So these people, it is on an electric scooter. So it’s in Deland, Florida. 34-year-old Nicole Wirt and her brother were fleeing a drug bust involving her boyfriend, 35-year-old James Burgess. They were trafficking drugs. And I guess the police chopper has them. They were on one of the like the little stand scooters, like a child scooter. And they’re going so incredibly slow. She’s. I guess commandeering it and they fell over in traffic, which is great. They literally fell over. They fell off the scooter. This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. The worst fleeing I’ve ever seen. They got the, they got the chopper. I’m watching the footage. All these people are stopping. They couldn’t get back on the scooter. He kept falling off. He’s in sock feet for crying out loud. And they didn’t get very far. They maybe went 25 feet before they fell over and they got taken into custody. That’s like the, I mean, notice how none of these people ever actually plan an escape. Like, what happens if something goes sideways? You know, what happens if that’s the case? I don’t know. This is actually a really great story. I watched this video over the weekend. It’s Fox 13. A Florida woman was being dragged by a man in an SUV. He was trying to kidnap her kids. One of them was six months old. The other, I think, was two. And they were in a parking lot, and he was trying to drive off against her will, dragging her. She was trying to get her kids out. uh it was outside of a shopping center in jacksonville and all these people all these good samaritans you can watch one showing you right now that’s the suv they all ran out there to intervene and to help this woman get her kids the guy was taken into custody uh and police used the appropriate amount of force to do so it was a beautiful thing to watch uh and they didn’t now this is the body cam footage they didn’t they didn’t uh They had the audio later, but this guy’s like, what? I didn’t do anything wrong. What are you talking about? They’re like, dude, we got you on video, like trying to kidnap kids. They took him into custody. after forcefully taking him to the ground. Because when you target children, guess what? I really feel like he should have had his face scraped up on the asphalt a little bit more. But that’s just me. I want to buy all of these officers a brew and send them food and all kinds of stuff. I mean, yeah, that’s how it’s done right there. But I loved how many times do we see videos of people not helping? and someone’s in need and all these people are just like oh or they just take like video footage and they upload it that cct cctv video footage there isn’t any other footage of that so everybody immediately saw what was happening and they all ran to help i haven’t seen that in a long time so that was like such a great feel-good story it was so nice uh also let’s see here um How many times must you go to prison for impersonating a cop before you stop impersonating a cop? This Florida man was Orange County man was arrested Monday. Last Monday, he was accused of impersonating a police officer and pulling people over. Now, he has literally just served time in prison and is out because he was doing the same thing prior. Six year old Albert Dolan. He was he would have amber lights flashing. He pretended his car was an unmarked police vehicle. You can’t do that kind of stuff. We have more on the way. Third hour, Stephen Yates will join us as well. Stick with us. This portion of our program, it’s Kel-Tec, the PR57, chambered in 5.7. This is a great firearm. It’s, I think, one of the best ones that they’ve done. They’ve made a lot of really good stuff, but I really think this is just absolutely one of the best. And it’s just super affordable. MSRP is $3.99. Come on. But it’s lighter than all the other 5.7s out there, 40% lighter than the next 5.7. It has a unique top-loading design that replaces traditional magazines with stripper clips, so you get a slimmer profile. 20-plus-1 capacity, too. Low recoil for ease of use and accuracy. Engineered for simplicity and reliability. It’s just a great everyday carry for everyone. It’s the first of its kind. Kel-Tec PR-57 Rotary Barrel Pistol, chambered in 5.7. And you can find it at keltecweapons.com. K-E-L-T-E-C, keltecweapons.com. Tell them Dana sent you. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We are at the top of this third hour and coming up, my friend Steven Yates is going to be joining us a little bit later on as well. I have a million things still. Actually, not a million. I have one, two, three, four, five things, six things still. We’re going to try to work them all in this segment before we get. All right. So first and foremost, let’s just roll down the list. We talked about the White House Correspondents Dinner. Lorraine reminded me that the that comedian that was going to host it actually was had had was smack talking the administration and was apparently disinvited. Like she said, some pretty heinous things. Also, this is a new poll heartbreak for Democrats. New CBS poll reveals the results of their Kilmar Abrego Garcia campaign. bad it’s really really really bad uh he’s um not a wrongly deported maryland man he’s a gang member and this is uh i mean it’s just it’s really wild that they decided to just put stake a flag on this right so the polling for this democrats Americans approve of the deportation, 56 to 44. It was plus eight. Independents support this by eight. And this is a CBS poll. I didn’t see whether it was margin or error is like 2.4. And this was done just like in the last week. So this is a very popular, and this actually isn’t a bad survey. It’s only, I think it’s only, hang on. barely over one it’s pretty evenly uh when you in cbs when you click the link at the bottom you can see all their crosstab data it’s pretty evenly there’s a lot of independence in it which is why i actually think and it’s likely voters not registered but still the majority of people they support the deportation program so all of this was done all of this democrats did to blunt that it didn’t work did it didn’t work didn’t work at all now I have another. Did you guys hear the story of the reports about the DC helicopter crash? I’m going to pull this up because I had this later. I had this up earlier. So this was, I saw this over, this is a, saw it first over at AP. They were trying to bury this bombshell report. Who made the fatal mistake that caused that Blackhawk to collide with a jet? Remember this? This was that American Airlines passenger plane and it was the helicopter that ran into it. And oh my gosh, this is horrible. So this from new details by the New York Times revealed that the pilot made more than one mistake. The Army Black Hawk pilot was Captain Rebecca Lobach. She was conducting an annual flight evaluation with her co-pilot, Andrew Lloyd Eaves, who was serving as her flight instructor. And apparently she was flying not only, and this is from details from the New York Times of all places. And. I mean, that is just at least they’re getting I’m putting this in for you. The she was flying too high and it was apparently told that she was flying too high. She apparently failed to take advice and instruction from her copilot to switch course. And 15 seconds before colliding with a commercial airplane, air traffic control told her to turn left, and she did not do so. Seconds before impact, the co-pilot turned to Lobach in the cockpit, told her air traffic control wanted her to turn left. She did not, still did not do so. They don’t know why she changed course. They were informed that an aircraft was nearby, per the report that was published for the New York Times. They were… Practicing and conducting this thing, they spotted the plane apparently themselves before requesting to fly by visual separation to avoid collisions on your own observations instead of following air traffic control. And a lot of times it’s executed, but they said New York Times reported when mishandled, it creates deadly risk. It was 15 seconds away from crossing paths with the jet. And if she had turned left, it would have opened up more space between them. And instead, she ran right into it. Now, I can’t fly a helicopter. That’s why I put my expertise in those who can. It doesn’t look good. This New York Times report, and it’s the New York Times. I mean, they note in here that she failed to heed a directive from her co-pilot on changing course twice. She was told twice, according to the New York Times. And we have what happened, happened. I don’t know how you could. It’s tough. They said that some of the experts, according to this report, believe that turning off the system deprived everybody of another safeguard. They said the controller could have done more as well. At the time of the crash, for reasons that are murky, a single controller was working helicopter traffic and commercial runway traffic. The FAA said they’re not going to discuss. But regardless, she was told twice to change course and didn’t. She was told twice to go left and didn’t. They don’t know why she had changed course from what was original. They said that there may have been inaccurate altitude readings also moments before the crash. And the recording from the Blackhawk via NTSB said that incomplete radio transmission may have left them without understanding how it could shift position to avoid the aircraft. It sounds like a lot of things could have been prevented here. And they think that the Blackhawk crew did not hear the word circling because they were pressing the microphone key to talk at the exact same time that crucial term came through. So they were talking over the direction they were getting to. This sounds really sloppy. I feel really bad for them, and I don’t like to armchair this, but I mean, I don’t know. Kane, a lot of people are saying that it’s DEI. I don’t think it’s DEI. I think it’s just bad instruction.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, little incompetence. I mean, there are warning systems and things ignored. Like, that’s basic stuff.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, it’s, I mean, and you have, I mean, so many lives lost. It’s sad. This is incredibly sad. I want to also touch on the story of this man. Let me pull this up. Who stole Kristi Noem’s purse, her sweet little Gucci bag that she had, a $3,000 cash in. I still can’t believe this story. So Julio Rosas had reported on this as well. The guy who took her purse is Mario Bustamante. He… The man’s in… He’s in the U.S. illegally. There is a daily mail piece that Julio found from 2015 that shows that he’s done this before. He’s Chilean. He has stolen wallets, computers, and phones in London. And… the an nbc reported that he didn’t necessarily target her he had no idea she was dhs um he it was because she had a gucci bag and he saw gucci and he stole it that’s why so it wasn’t that he was targeting her it was how did but i’m just curious like do we know was the bag on a chair was it just sitting somewhere like If you’re DHS and you’ve got stuff that you need in there, then maybe don’t just leave it around. Be a little bit more cognizant. Right. If you have to, then wear a belt bag, whatever you got to do. But yeah, he’s here illegally. He was apparently twice deported. Oh, two times now. I mean, that just kind of really runs it runs at home, does it not? He was masked. She was having dinner with her family in D.C., And she said that she had $3,000 because she was going to buy Easter presents. Can I just say, I’m sorry. That’s weird to me. You carry around $3,000 in cash. I’m calling shenanigans. That’s some BS. I don’t know. I’m not saying she’s a drug dealer or anything, but why the hell do you got to have $3,000 in cash? You’re in D.C. to buy Easter stuff? That was what was said. Apple Pay, man. Apple Pay.
SPEAKER 10 :
Everybody’s got it. It’s expensive in D.C.
SPEAKER 11 :
What? Apple Pay?
SPEAKER 10 :
No, things are expensive.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, yeah, they are. But why do you need $3,000 cash? I never, ever have that kind of money on me. Ever. I mean, you and Steve immediately. Steve, ask your question. Ask it. Ask your question.
SPEAKER 16 :
It’s a legitimate question. We know on the show that my mother works at Kirkland’s. So we talk about home and garden all the time. And what Easter things cost that much money?
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s the million-dollar thing. That’s the million-dollar question, right? She said that she was using it to treat her family to dinner, activities, and Easter gifts. Easter gifts, huh? $3,000 cash.
SPEAKER 10 :
Like Peeps and Chocolate Bunnies?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, they know Peep that costs $3,000. They know Chocolate Bunny that costs $3,000. Like, how many people are in her family? A million? A million?
SPEAKER 10 :
Plastic Easter grass?
SPEAKER 11 :
Girl, why are you carrying $30,000 in cash on you? That’s a big old hell no, especially in D.C. That’s a big no-no. That’s a great big no-no. We all know that. So if she was at a restaurant, that means it was probably on the back of her chair or something. I am always so hyper aware though. I feel like I’m always lovely yellow. It’s probably why I have inflammation. I’m just always aware of everything. Like if you’re even coming near the vicinity of my back, I know you. I can tell how you part your hair. I don’t know. How are you not aware of this stuff? Anyway, we’ll just assume. I’m not saying that she’s buying drugs or anything like that. Not at all. I just don’t know why you carry $3,000 in cash. That’s weird, right? That’s like No, I’m not going to say it. I was going to say, I just, I don’t know. That’s not fair. No, but I don’t know how else to. I’ve never carried that. I’ve never done that ever, ever. The most I’ve ever carried are maybe like a couple of euros here and there. If I needed to like use the restroom, if I’m like in Europe, that’s it.
SPEAKER 10 :
But never in your life you never carried a ton of money on you? No. Ever?
SPEAKER 11 :
No. Never. Never, never. Never have. I mean, if I was doing a drug deal. Or if I was a, you know, when I was a server, I had a lot of money at the end of my shift.
SPEAKER 10 :
I’ve done it before, like back in the day when buying cars from individuals, you carry cash.
SPEAKER 11 :
Back in the day. This is not in the day.
SPEAKER 10 :
This is the now. What are you trying to do right now? What are you trying to do right now with the back in the day comment?
SPEAKER 11 :
I just, I don’t know. I’m not saying that it’s anything. I’m just trying to, I desperately want to know, why do you have to have $3,000 in cash?
SPEAKER 10 :
I don’t think it’s that suspect. You’re in D.C. all the time.
SPEAKER 11 :
I didn’t say it was, I’m just fascinated. I don’t know. I’ve been to D.C. a lot. I never, of all the places to not carry money, that is a place that you don’t carry cash. Because there’s something shifty on every corner.
SPEAKER 10 :
Was it all Hundy’s?
SPEAKER 11 :
Is it all ones? I don’t know. Anyway. All right. Moving on. But yeah, a person who was shockingly in the country illegally. I know it just and had been deported already. Our partners. That helped bring you the program. It’s our friends over at Burn a Gun. I always like to have diverse options, right? I mean, you carry blades. You have different calibers. This is a great option for people who are thwarted from exercising their Second Amendment rights to their fullest because of municipal restrictions or because of private property restrictions, whatever it is. You want to still be able to protect yourself. I mean, we’ve seen the crime statistics and you’ve seen what Soros-backed restorative justice has done to recidivism and to the crime rate in numerous cities. So the Burna gun is a popular go-to for people who want to diversify their weapons array and still make sure that they have a form of protection. The Burna SD is the most popular model. It has a five-round capacity. It shoots chemical irritant projectiles. Quick deployment, easy target acquisition, no recoil. And it’s legal in all 50 states. No background checks, no permits. It ships right to your door. So it’s super accessible for everyone. And like I’ve said prior, it shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to 50 feet away. Now the SD is the best selling model. They have other ones. I would recommend the SD for this particular purpose of self-defense. but you can visit bruna.com slash dana byrna.com slash dana get 10 off your purchase that’s bruna.com slash dana for 10 off and now all of the news you would probably miss it’s time for dana’s quick five so apparently half of the united states is going to have some hot and dry conditions coming up says usa today Yeah, hot and dry conditions coming up here in the United States. Coinciding with summer! It’s summer! Stop it, you stupid weather environmental freaks.
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh my gosh, can you guys believe? It’s going to be super hot coming up. Oh my gosh, what are we going to do? It’s going to be hot. It’s going to be dry. Yeah, it’s called…
SPEAKER 11 :
What it’s called. Okay, I gotta… Ugh, these people. Also, officers are warning of… Oh, here we go. Cane moon rocks. Highly potent cannabis.
SPEAKER 09 :
Cannabis.
SPEAKER 11 :
I don’t even know. I feel like this is all like reefer madness. Kind of. Isn’t it? It seems like the officers are warning of potent cannabis moon rocks. What does it do? They combine the marijuana. This is all too already in the weeds for me. Combining marijuana flower with hash oil and rolling it in cannabis powder, resulting in THC levels that reach 50% or higher. I don’t even.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s like the moonshine of weed.
SPEAKER 11 :
Isn’t that taking like moonshine and mixing it with other moonshine and then mixing it with like gin? And then is it the same thing, right? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I’m just curious. Yeah. It’s a little reefer madness there. Oh, Colorado senator claims preschoolers bring big backpacks of weed to class. Well, it’s Colorado. Yeah, they voted to like legalize everything you can. I’m going to tell you the last time I was in Denver, I’ve never been outside and randomly just smelled a ton of weed before and had no idea where it was coming from. You know what I mean? Like normally you’re like, oh, it’s that person over there. I mean, the stinkiest. It was like someone. blew up a dead animal.
SPEAKER 10 :
I don’t even know.
SPEAKER 11 :
It was like a dead animal fart. I don’t even know, man. That’s what it smelled like and it was horrible and I was just like, oh my gosh. Nobody knew where it came from. Now in the days of yore, you’d be like, it’s that person because we can see them. But now it’s like so prevalent. So actually, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if a preschooler was carrying a giant backpack of weed. Well, I don’t know. It’s Colorado. They can go and do whatever. They can just, you know, they got rid of all their guns, but they can be high as a kite when they’re being assaulted and targeted by criminal elements now. Yay, look at that. We have Stephen Yates on the way. Don’t miss. If you work long hours and struggle to wind down at night, you’re not alone. Tossing and turning and waking up exhausted doesn’t have to be the norm. SPEAKER 11 :
Welcome back to the program. Dana Lashley with you. We’re at the bottom of this third hour. You can listen coast to coast. Terrestrially, Channel 347 is the stream. This article that I saw Daily Beast and others run with, Trump refuses to give Biden and Air Force One ride to the Pope’s funeral. FYI, they didn’t tell him that Biden was going until the plane was already in the air. So what was Air Force One going to do? Stop over the sea, turn around and go back and get sleepy Biden? Roll that footage in the B-roll real quick, Juan, because Biden, I don’t even know if Biden knew he was going to go. He needed help leaving. He this actually stunned me. He was grabbing onto his wife’s or his wife had a hold of his arm and then a cardinal. gave him his arm and they were walking down the steps there and he was having even trouble just like walking. Juan’s got this. He’s going to show it to you real quick. It’s slow mode, but he was like having trouble getting down the steps and he was just real. So that leg snapped back like that. Oh, that was weird. I don’t know. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but that was all fake news. What isn’t fake news, though, is that weird little sit down that they had. It was a pretty extraordinary photo of between Vladimir Zelensky and President Trump. And then Macron tried to horn in on it there at the last minute. And then Keir Starmer, apparently. I feel like Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron did not want Trump to sit down and talk to Zelensky. To discuss this and much more, our very good friend Stephen Yates at Yates.com, Senior Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation. He joins us now on video. Stephen, always so good to have you. I am just dying to know, what are your thoughts, that weird little thing thing that happened there at St. Peter’s you had you had Zelensky coming in Trump was talking to him and then Emmanuel Macron comes out of nowhere and it was like trying to horn his way in on their little sit down like he did not want them to have a discussion together is that what you took away from that
SPEAKER 12 :
Well, my first takeaway was I saw that iconic photo that resulted from it. And I thought, I don’t know whether Trump does this himself or there’s someone in his entourage, but they know how to get extremely iconic photos like with ease. But the idea that you’re in this beautiful venue and you just have the two people basically almost chin to chin, eyeball to eyeball leaning in for a conversation. I mean, it really said a lot. Now, we don’t know very much at all about what they actually said to each other. Yeah, you had these other leaders that wanted to walk in and participate. There was sort of a musical chairs game where there was three chairs and one was taken away. And I guess the other prime minister was sent off to the corner to wait for the big people to finish talking. But this is, I think, Trump at his best in a way. Before he went on this trip, he said he hoped that he would see lots of world leaders and they would have these side meetings. This is an important one. I thought it really mugged Zelensky of the idea of using the cameras and the press against Trump. and it robbed him of using Europeans against Trump. And in a way, in the aftermath, it also robbed the Europeans of being able to claim they’re going to do a whole heck of a lot. They’ve grandstanded on how much more they’re going to pay and do, but they don’t have much. And so still, Zelensky needs Trump. This got the filter out of the way. I hope it worked for the president of the United States.
SPEAKER 11 :
I love how you said that, too, that it disallowed whether it was the left or the Europeans or anybody from being able to use that because I was reading this body language analysis and they were saying, well, Trump looks at ease, but also eager and flexible. But still, the way he’s sitting in a power posture, but that he was up forward on his toes, that he’s being reasonable and flexible, non-threatening, but still the way his upper body was structured. I love reading those stuff that he was still in a position of power. And Zelensky was much more muted, especially when you compare how he was behaving like just physically when they were sitting in the Oval Office, because that’s the last time that they had met. And you’re right for him to be able to like toss out McCrone like that. They they robbed them of equal consideration. And it kind of. sort of telegraphed that the United States is in charge of this, is in charge of how this is going to go. We’re in charge of our response and we’re going to lead the way for the rest of the Western nations. So that’s a really good point because I don’t think it would have been as powerful if you had the other hanger-ons there.
SPEAKER 12 :
No, no. And it sure appeared to me that Zelensky still hasn’t gone through wardrobe upgrade for going to important places. I mean, this is the Pope’s funeral in one of the most ornate buildings, a very ceremonial gathering. You might consider a suit for these big, big deals. I don’t know what’s going on with it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, you could have had a suit for that. There’s a few things I want to ask you. They’re all somewhat related. This one definitely is because it all goes back to China. Pakistan and India. I mean, you have two nuclear powers that, you know, kind of gives me a little bit of pause. I don’t want them at each other’s throats. And then China tries to weigh in like the older brother and say, oh, no, no, we urge restraint. We are we hope that you all exercise restraint. And it says that China is not closely following China. this evolving India-Pakistan situation? Because as I understand it, they’re kind of going back and forth over Kashmir. What is China’s involvement in this? I am nervous the moment I saw a headline where they’re trying to wade in on it because obviously they come down on the side of Pakistan. They have a weird relationship with India.
SPEAKER 12 :
They do. They have a rivalry relationship with India. They try to play nice economically from time to time. But even on something like Apple, India is seemingly winning the Apple negotiations and manufacturings of the ubiquitous iPhone are likely to be more done in India than China in the not too distant future. But China has always leaned towards Pakistan. That was the the channel through which Henry Kissinger took his secret journeys to negotiate with Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai for the normalization during the Cold War. Pakistan wouldn’t have nuclear weapons but for China and its sister state, North Korea. And so the only reason there’s two nuclear powers at odds in this instance is because China helped Pakistan get nuclear weapons. And so, yeah, they’re going to watch this really, really closely. But China is never about solving things. They’re about trying to appear to be like the magistrate overseeing what’s happening there. India is in a really different place today under Prime Minister Modi, an extremely experienced leader at this point. I think India is shedding some of its socialist backing when it comes to economic policies, and it might be at a breakout point where it could be more the go-go economy that’s driving the world and leaving China to try to catch up. That might be my wish, but I think there’s some evidence behind it, and that’s what’s playing in the background of this. All things considered, when you have well over a billion people in a subcontinent,
SPEAKER 11 :
13 to 20 or so casualties is a small decimal point but human lives matter and when you got nuclear states we’re going to pay a lot of attention india seems poised to potentially at some point take over from from china in terms of mass production and everything else because then now they have the population to do it they’ve officially uh, exceeded China in terms of being the most populous nation on the planet. And I’m just, so it, it, I’m obviously, I feel like there’s a little like a, there’s some jealousy there on China’s part because that’s, that, that was always kind of like their calling card and their ability to just, you know, they, uh, war of attrition, so to speak. Uh, Is that possible? Is that going to happen? And can that happen unless the United States takes an active role in kind of shepherding that relationship and partnering with India?
SPEAKER 12 :
Well, the United States has been for some time, and really in the post 9-11 era, George W. Bush was doing a lot with his counterpart in India, and we expanded a lot during that time. President Trump has a uniquely good relationship with Prime Minister Modi, one that’s never been the case between the two countries. And Modi was actually president of the United States during a political campaign, a rally for President Trump. something that diplomats and sort of the the establishment class around the world would never condone or imagine but the relationship’s been going very very well india has not always been made itself easy to deal with they’ve done things very slowly big bureaucracies but they are democracy they do have elections and count all their votes china seems unwilling unable to do that i actually believe the indian census about their numbers And I think until China is verifiably transparent, we shouldn’t give them credit for having a large economy or a large population. But that may be just me. But India has all of the opportunities to seize this leading role and partnership. And frankly, Europe should be grasping at how to improve that relationship instead of sopping up to China as an alternative to mean old United States who wants to rebalance trade.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah. Speaking of trade, I want to play for you audio soundbite 30 real quick. This is the Treasury secretary talking about trade negotiations. Now, Scott Besant is saying that he is unaware of any conversation that he may that that Trump is having with Xi. Do we have this? Let me play this real quick.
SPEAKER 01 :
Who has he made deals with? Is there actually any deal at this point?
SPEAKER 05 :
I believe that he is referring to sub deals within the negotiations we’re doing. And Martha, if there are 180- But those aren’t actual deals. Martha, if there are 180 countries, there are 18 important trading partners. Let’s put China to the side because that’s a special negotiation. There’s 17 important trading partners. And we have a process in place over the next 90 days to negotiate with them. Some of those are moving along very well, especially with the Asian countries.
SPEAKER 11 :
So he’s saying that trade negotiations are moving along very well, if you were able to hear that with Scott Besant. But he is unaware, a Washington examiner, unaware of trade talks between Trump and Xi. Trump says he’s spoken with Xi many times. I don’t know if… And Besant said this on Sunday. So I don’t… Where does that stand? Like, where does the conversation between the United States and China and this tariff off? Where does all that stand? And how do you see this wrapping up?
SPEAKER 12 :
people in the U.S. system talking to people in the Chinese system. I don’t know that Xi Jinping has picked up the phone and called President Trump. He should. He should have all these days since the Liberation Day was announced. He should have been right away when the first tariffs on fentanyl precursors were put in place. He should have picked up the phone and said, hello, friend, I’d like to make a deal. We’re a responsible neighbor and partner, and let’s do good business together. He might have had an advantage if he would have done so. So at every point along the way, the U.S. team has given China a choice between escalation and confrontation and negotiation and de-escalation. And without fail, 100% of the time, they’ve picked confrontation and escalation. Now, I think President Trump sometimes uses word magic to try to frame the environment for conversations, and journalists sometimes want to parse the words in uncomplimentary ways. But any anchor who’s asking a question like I just heard of Scott Bassett is just mind-numbingly moronic if they’re trying to say what is a deal and what isn’t a deal. In our big government with big countries, we have lots of deals within deals that build up to something that’s announced. And so I don’t get the point about what’s real or what’s not real. The one thing we know for sure is during the four years of Biden, almost nothing happened whatsoever. And within the first hundred days, we have at least 17 major nations negotiating at a pace we have never seen. It’s hard at any time to do all those deals. But really, to say that you haven’t gotten anywhere is just crazy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, completely agree. One last quick question for you, because we’ve talked about this before. China has seized the disputed reef in the South Sea. Sandy Cay, which is right by the Philippines military outpost. This is one of those things that they’ve been trying to take for some time. I saw this little photo. They they had Coast Guard officers unfurl their flag on this little Sandy Cay. How significant is this?
SPEAKER 12 :
Well, it would be a joke if it hadn’t been done a bunch of times before. And if you hadn’t had these uninhabitable stand bars in the middle of nowhere that end up with military facilities, port facilities, surveillance facilities, and you end up with reclamation of land from the sea where it ends up not just being some weird uninhabitable sandbar. And then China claims that everything between this far off nowhere land and their actual territory is now their sovereign domain. And that is the crazy irresponsible expansionism that they’ve been doing basically ever since Hillary Clinton told them, how dare you don’t take another step. And her minion, Kurt Campbell, said that we were going to pivot to Asia and we were going to stop this. It’s now been 14 to 15 years later and they aren’t stopping. And so I think it’s really important for our allies to start pushing back on this. I wish that something would be done by countries that are in that region when they put that flag up. I hope those two guys stand there and hold the flag because the moment they go to sleep, we should be playing capture the flag. Put a giant Pooh bear flag there or a giant freedom flag there and dare them to come back. But, you know, they’re going to have to at some point stop them from the theater because the theater turns in to actual sovereign encroachment if you don’t do something.
SPEAKER 11 :

Apparently, one of the things he bashed somebody’s face in 30 times because they told him to turn his music down. That’s one. Let’s see. He has a history of strangulation, suffocation, assault, domestic abuse. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat arrests.
SPEAKER 10 :
You don’t get to stay here anymore.
