SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I used to be happy. I used to be a happy warrior. Had a day off yesterday. Got a little bit of a break. Joey Hudson guest hosted as the Epstein thing was blowing up. I used to be happy, but I knew I had to come in here and face the music. How do I figure out a way to talk about anything but Epstein? Connie Francis passed away, 87 years old. Wow, what a life. Let’s play some, what are your favorite Connie Francis hits? What else is going on? Oh, Teresa, what’s that, line two, Epstein? No, no, no, no, get rid of them. What else is going on in the news? The weather in the upstate of South Carolina, a little muggy. It’s a little steamy, sunny, maybe some thunderstorms. What’s that, Teresa? Line 3? What’s the call? Epstein? No, no, no, no, no, no. What else is going on? Did I tell you about the new conditions of the new planes they’ve got over on American Air? What’s that, Teresa? Line 4? Epstein? Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy. Look, when I’m a little lost or when I’m a little perplexed, I get great clarity from Now, I’m not saying that to be patronizing. I’m not saying that to be condescending. I mean it. And I admit I’m lost because if you are turning against President Trump after everything we’ve all been through together over Epstein, I don’t get that. I don’t understand that. I don’t know where you’re coming from. I think you might have another agenda. I don’t know. I’m totally lost on this. This drama, this rage that people are feeling. Trump is frustrated. We’re frustrated. People think we’re not getting answers. I absolutely don’t exactly know where to turn except to do this. 1-800-655-MIKE. This is a time where I’m going to lean on the wonderful blessing of my life that is this audience. Because, and I’m not saying this again to be sort of syrupy here. I’m not trying to be Pollyanna. You’ve gotten me through good times and bad. I have had ups and downs. life’s struggles, you know many of them what they’ve been over the decades that we’ve been together. And we’ve been together, in some cases, many years. I’m sitting here scratching my head thinking, why would the Benny Johnsons of the world go scorched earth against President Trump when he fought so hard to help get him elected? Why would Steve, I don’t even know what the, Michael Flynn, General Flynn, why are people actually turning against President Trump? Why are you mad at him? What did he have to do with this? Meanwhile, while you’re not paying attention to the things that seem to matter, overnight, after decades of Republicans promising to defund public broadcasting… Trump defunded public broadcasting. No more will NPR and PBS get taxpayer dollars for their programming, which is as it should be. Another significant promise made and a promise kept. Does that matter? Or is it all over because of Epstein? Have you seen the inflation numbers lately? Have you seen grocery prices lately? Have you looked at the border lately? Do those things matter, or is it all for naught because of the Epstein list? I’m baffled. I really am. And I admit it. I don’t like admitting it. I’m a pretty confident guy. I’ve usually got a pretty good sense of where you are. I think I’ve got a good—one of my strengths is to have my finger on the pulse of this audience. Right now, though, I’m lost completely. I’m lost. So let’s find out. 800-655-MIKE. That’s all I can do is turn it over to you. And I don’t think I’ve ever – it’s been a long time since I have so relied on your input to help guide me through the storm. And we’re all kind of in a storm here. You may think it’s not a storm. You may wish it would go away. You may want it to go away. Apparently it ain’t going away. So there’s a real important phone number in today’s conversation. It’s 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. 800-655-6453. Call or text, but give me your input, and let’s figure this out together. Ph.D. weight loss has changed my life, and I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. You’ve seen the story recently about the study that shows that a lot of people that are getting this are going blind. You don’t want to do this. You want a program to lose weight that’s centered around science and nutrition, a proven roadmap that has helped over 8,000 clients lose weight and keep it off, like me. I lost 53 pounds a few years ago, and I’ve kept it off. I know what to eat and when. I know how to quiet any of the cravings I might get and finally release that unhealthy belly fat that I carried along for so long. Make the phone call that can change your life in the way it changed mine. It’s called PHD Weight Loss. PHD Weight Loss, Dr. Ashley Lucas’ program, is brilliant. And how do I know? Well, 53 pounds later, here I am. 864-644-1900 is their number. Call and schedule your consultation. You can do this program from anywhere in America. Call 864-644-1900, 864-644-1900, or visit MyPhDWeightLoss.com.

He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 04 :
I can solve the whole Jeffrey Epstein mess with a brief text I got from North Carolina. I’m in the Carolinas today. I’m back in my beloved upstate. Going to be here for a couple of days. We’re broadcasting from the studios of 98.9 WORD, the voice of the Carolinas, home of the terrific Tara Show and the great Bill Frady and Joey Hudson and Charlie James. Peg and Joey and I had dinner last night downtown at Larkin’s, one of our favorite restaurants. And I got a text from North Carolina as I walked into the studio here, and it’s all solved. There is an Epstein client list. However, the aliens are in possession of that list, and they haven’t shown up yet. Okay. Yep, that’s about par for the course right now with this whole Epstein dialogue. You should have seen what I went through earlier today. Somebody said, well, you know, there’s a picture of John Roberts. I said, John Roberts? Yeah, he’s in the water with Ghislaine and Epstein and cavorting with Clinton. I said, John Roberts, the Supreme Court? Yeah. I said, you mean the Fox? Yeah, it’s a picture. It’s not a picture. It’s completely debunked. It’s some French businessman, and it’s not at Epstein Island. It’s at some place in Costa Rica or somewhere. I mean, we could really—people are losing their minds over all this. Meanwhile, as you’re not paying attention and while you were sleeping— Trump delivered another campaign promise to defund public broadcasting. That happened at about 2.30 in the morning. Senate passed it. Boom. No more taxpayer dollars for biased programming from NPR or PBS. Let them sell a lot of tote bags and sell advertising like the rest of us do. Meanwhile, you’re getting all kinds of rapists and convicts and bad people getting sent back to their original countries. Meanwhile, inflation numbers are getting better. Grocery prices are crashing. The border’s secure. Oh, and don’t look now, but according to the numbers guy over on CNN, Trump’s support since the Epstein thing began, has actually increased. Now, wait a minute. What do we have here? You know Harry Enten, right? The guy from CNN who often has to give the bewildered, flummoxed CNN hosts heartburn because he gives them sometimes big doses. He’s a little bit like the data version of Scott Jennings. He’s the guy on CNN who sometimes is the lone voice in the wilderness. You know, we keep hearing this narrative. Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein list. No, he didn’t. Complete falsehood. That’s a total lie. He didn’t campaign on releasing the Epstein list. I’m giving up support. I’m going to vote. I’m not going to vote in the midterms. Oh, I want the Democrats. I want Zoran Mamdani to run things now because of the Epstein list. Oh, yeah, good. Good luck with that. You go do that. Trump’s support is plummeting because of the Epstein situation. Oh, well, not according to CNN’s Harry Enten.
SPEAKER 02 :
I mean, look, I think this one surprised me a bit because of all these complaints online going after Trump and the Epstein Files. You might think his approval ratings were going down with Republicans. If anything, they’re going up. Republicans who approve of Trump, look at our CNN poll. The prior one, 86%. The one out this week, 88% were Republicans. How about Quinnipiac? The prior poll, 87% approved Republicans. This week out, 90% were Republicans. If anything, Donald Trump’s approval rating has gone up since this whole Epstein saga started. He is at the apex, or close there to, in terms of his popularity with Republican voters, Epstein files, complaints, or not.
SPEAKER 10 :
You just proved that not everything online is real.
SPEAKER 02 :
In real life. Who knew? Amazing. Twitter and X are not reality.
SPEAKER 04 :
Is there any reason that you can find that this hasn’t? Where’s my little sound box? Oh, I left it in Tampa. I’ve got to get one here for Greenville. I need a little… Now, there are people with big platforms… and big voices, and they’re screaming and insisting that Trump’s approval is plummeting, how could it be? Who in the world is going to abandon their support for President Trump considering all that he’s accomplishing in six short months unless you didn’t support him in the first place? And maybe people are exposing themselves. Maybe some of these people who are coming out, you know, scorched earth on Donald Trump, people with… Ex-followers and social media and cable, maybe they weren’t really on board with Trump to begin with. So there’s a poll that just came out that shows Trump’s popularity is in fact increasing. Look, I know when to turn it over to you, and I’m willing to turn it over to you, and I am, because I’m a little bit lost here. I think the Democrats are loving the attempt to derail the Trump agenda with Epstein. I think Trump haters are licking their chops and enjoying all of this. And meanwhile, there’s policy achievement after policy achievement after policy achievement. You voted for mass deportation, you got mass deportation. You voted for better prices, we’ve got better prices. You voted for a secure border, you’ve got a secure border. You voted to defund public broadcasting, they’ve defunded public broadcasting. You voted for respect for law and order, and the police and the military were reinstilling respect for law and order. All these things are going on, and you want to screech about the Epstein story? Did you read Alan Dershowitz? Alan Dershowitz was Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyer. And he’s telling you, sorry, there’s not really any there there. He did kill himself. There’s not a list. Sorry, hate to disappoint. That’s Jeffrey, that’s Alan Dershowitz. So all of this, again, comes time for us to gather together after I took a day off, thanks to Joey Hudson, the Upstate’s own, for filling in for me yesterday, doing a great job. Had a great day of donations for our Food for the Poor Texas flooding campaign, but boy, we’re getting blown out of the water by one of our colleagues who had a massive morning today. So I hope you’ll step up, and you want to feel a little better and do God’s work, pop 50 bucks into the kitty, 100 bucks, whatever you can afford, to help us rush emergency relief supplies to the victims of the Texas floods. I’m hoping we have a big day today. We had a big day a couple days ago. Not as big as our morning colleague today. Holy moly, did he have a big day. So I’m hoping you’re able to step up today for us, because… Let’s face it, there’s no audience like the Mike Gallagher Show audience. Please go to MikeOnline.com and make a donation. You’ll see the Help Texas banner, the Texas Flood Relief for Rushing Emergency Supplies to the Victims of the Devastating Floods in Texas. Texas, thank you for your support. Thank you for stepping up, and thank you for responding to the call. Please go to mikeonline.com. You’re a little stressed right now? You’ll feel better doing God’s work. We’re partnering with our friends at the nonprofit relief agency, Food for the Poor, and rushing emergency relief kits to these flood-ravaged part of the world. 128 people confirmed dead. Many, many more are still missing. As you know, President Trump and the First Lady visited the flood zone yesterday, Texas over the weekend. As you can hear, he was pretty emotional. You can hear in the sound of his voice about what he witnessed. They lost their child or two children.
SPEAKER 08 :
And just hard to believe what I’ve never seen anything like it. A little narrow river that becomes a monster.
SPEAKER 04 :
Now, as the president observed, we’re all grieving. We’re we’re we’re There’s been such a terrible loss of life. Entire communities are still being impacted. There are flooded out homes. There are closed businesses. And there are many still displaced, and they desperately need your help. Now, there is a Help Texas banner on my website, MikeOnline.com, where you can make a secure online donation. Please help us rush emergency relief kits to Texas. These kits contain tarps. hygiene items, diapers, children’s activity materials, and other essentials needed to ease the crisis for these poor people. Food for the Poor, in coordination with a trusted partner in San Antonio, has responded to the central Texas flooding. Nobody responds like the Mike Gallagher audience. Right now, already $13,000 in the first day or two. of donations have come in. We have a sort of an unofficial goal of 40,000. In my heart of hearts, we’ll soar past that goal. Let’s support our fellow Americans. Let’s support the Texans who have been through so much. Please go to MikeOnline.com and click on the Help Texas banner. You can also phone in your donation. And a lot of people do that. Just call 844-860-HOPE. That’s 844-860-4673. Thank you for supporting these poor families who’ve been through so much. Let’s get emergency relief kits to as many people as we can, and let’s make sure that the Mike Gallagher Show once again is the torchbearer. the leader in sending as many materials as possible to these poor people. Again, you can go to MikeOnline.com and click on the Help Texas banner or call 844-860-HOPE, 844-860-4673. Tyler’s in Delaware. Tyler, welcome.
SPEAKER 08 :
the mike gallagher show on salem news channel and the salem radio network i am sold on trump in fact i’ll say this i think he’s got a good shot at going down in history as one of our best presidents ever i think this guy is turning out to be a president One of the pilots on that miraculous trip to Iran that we wiped out, whatever the hell we wiped out, he said, you’re the only guy in the presidency that would have done what you did. And you know what? He’s probably right.
SPEAKER 07 :
In the relieffactor.com studios, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 04 :
Here’s a text message on the MyPillow text line. That fire, Mike, in Kentucky, it was the Beverly Hills Supper Club. That’s right. It was the Beverly Hills Supper Club, and it was a horrible, horrible fire. The fire was due to aluminum wiring, which is now against code. Emergency exits were locked. People couldn’t get out. They were trapped inside. There was a high death count. It was a horrendous fire. horrendous event. So, gosh, I remember that like it was yesterday. Here’s a text from Arizona. Mike, I’m a great fan of our president. I’m thrilled for him and his policies and administration. As far as the Epstein crap, I don’t care about the so-called list. The loony left is just lost. Thanks for your show. Thanks for what you’re doing. Here’s a text from New York City. Mike, thanks for your common sense perspective on the Epstein scandal. As you often say, perspective is everything, and there are very few who deliver perspective the way Mike Gallagher does. Well, thank you, Doug. I appreciate your kind words. I want you to hear what Alan Dershowitz writes about the Epstein scandal. I want to read this. It’s not long, but it’s an op-ed that he put forth in the Wall Street Journal. He says, I was Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyer. I know the facts, some of which I can’t disclose because it’s privileged or subject to court-imposed sealing orders. But what I can disclose makes several important things clear. Epstein never created a client list. The FBI interviewed alleged victims who named several clients. These names have been redacted. They should be disclosed, but the courts have ordered them sealed. I know who they are. They don’t include any current office holders. We don’t know whether the accusations are true. The courts have also sealed negative information about some of the accusers to protect them. Neither the Justice Department nor private defense lawyers are free to disregard court sealing orders, he writes. The media can and should petition the courts for the release of all names and information so the public can draw its own conclusions. There has also been speculation about incriminating videos taken by hidden cameras in Epstein’s guest bedrooms. There are videotapes, but they are of public areas of his Palm Beach, Florida home. Epstein reported the theft of money and a licensed firearm from a drawer in the living room, so the police installed a video camera. I’m not aware of video cameras in guest bedrooms. By the way, can we just look at that for just a moment? The police installed cameras. Do you realize… How prominent you have to be to have the police install a video camera system in your home? The police? When’s the last time you ever heard of a police officer coming into your home because you were concerned about a theft and they installed cameras for you? The police don’t do that unless you’re real big and famous and important. Unless you’re real rich. You think that’s a job of a police officer? Or a detective? Or a sergeant? I’m intrigued by that line in the Alan Dershowitz op-ed. The police installed a video camera. You see, it cannot be ignored or understated how prominent a guy Epstein was. Maybe that’s why there’s so much interest in this case. But he was very influential. He was very powerful, evidently. So powerful that the police in Palm Beach, Florida, acted like his own private security firm. You want cameras installed in your house? You call ADT. Not if you’re Jeffrey Epstein. Evidently, the police are involved and they can install cameras for you because they want to catch the bad guy for you. You cannot ignore how prominent this guy was. And he had friends on the highest levels on both sides of the political spectrum. Again, that’s probably why this case is so intriguing to so many people. Dershowitz goes on to write in this Wall Street Journal op-ed, open records show an acquaintance between Epstein and Mr. Trump many years ago. The relationship ended when Mr. Trump reportedly banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago long before becoming president. I have seen nothing that would suggest anything improper or even questionable by Mr. Trump. Those are his words, incidentally. I would prefer you call him by his title, President Trump, but that’s Alan Dershowitz. It’s clear from the evidence that Epstein committed suicide. What isn’t clear is whether he was assisted by jail personnel. That seems likely to me, Dershowitz says, based on the evidence of allegedly broken cameras, transfer of his cellmate, and the absence of guards during relevant time periods. I have absolutely no doubt that Epstein never worked suicide. for any intelligence agency. If he had, he would surely have told me and his other lawyers who would have used that information to get him a better deal. My sources in Israel have confirmed to me that he had no connection to Israeli intelligence. That false story, recently peddled by Tucker Carlson, probably emanated from credible allegations that Robert Maxwell, the father of Epstein’s former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, worked with the Mossad. He concludes this way, and I think this is the most important message of all. Conspiracy stories attract readers, viewers, and listeners. They are also fodder for political attacks. The Epstein case has generated more than its share of such theories, and there is nothing more annoying to gossip mongers than when stubborn facts or absence of facts get in the way of a juicy theory. Sorry to disappoint you, he says. But there is really nothing much to see here beyond what has already been disclosed. That’s Alan Dershowitz, Epstein’s lawyer. Now, again, the question remains what damage, what harm, what happens, if anything, Well, let me play this again. Harry Enten from CNN earlier today on CNN, of all places, sort of shockingly reporting that contrary to the popular narrative about Trump’s approval, the Epstein scandal is actually leading Trump’s approval to go up.
SPEAKER 02 :
I mean, look, I think this one surprised me a bit because of all these complaints online going after Trump and the Epstein files. You might think his approval ratings were going down. Republicans, if anything, they’re going up. Republicans who approve of Trump. Look at our CNN poll. The prior one, 86 percent. The one out this week, 88 percent were Republicans. How about Quinnipiac? The prior poll, 87 percent approved Republicans. This week out, 90 percent were Republicans. If anything, Donald Trump’s approval rating has gone up since this whole Epstein saga started. He is at the apex or close there to in terms of his popularity with Republican voters. Epstein files complaints or not.
SPEAKER 10 :
You just proved that not everything online is real.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. There you go. And that’s the point is that if you’re paying attention to people who are shrieking the loudest, you might be listening to the wrong people. Did you know what happened overnight? Did you hear about the Senate voting to defund public broadcasting? Hmm. The spending cuts are continuing. Last night, about 2 in the morning, about 2.30 in the morning, the Senate advanced about $9 billion in spending cuts. Does that matter? Because all I know is that for many, many years, Republicans have promised, have threatened, have sworn that we’re going to finally end taxpayer funding of NPR and PBS. Nobody ever got it done. This guy did. This guy does. People wanted a secure border over and over again. We had Biden’s open border. Who got it sealed? Who got it secure? This guy did. Any of that matter? All right, let’s go. I want a bunch of calls here. Let’s do a little bit of a lightning round of phone calls. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Also, again, a reminder, this is the day that I hope we have a huge day on our Food for the Poor campaign to bless the people of Texas with the flooding and the needs that are there that are great, that are monumental. Please go to mikeonline.com. to contribute to our Food for the Poor campaign as we’re rushing relief supplies. We’re about 2,000. Last I checked, about nine this morning, we were about $2,700 away from our goal. So let’s go over the top today. Let’s have a big day, $2,550, $100, whatever you can afford. Please go to MikeOnline.com to make a contribution. Again, $50 will rush an emergency relief kit. to one of those families in Texas, please go to mikeonline.com or call 844-860-HOPE, 844-860-4673. Here’s Stacey in Houston, Texas. Hey, Stacey, I appreciate your patience. Welcome to the show.
SPEAKER 09 :
Thank you, Mike. Hi, how are you?
SPEAKER 04 :
Hi, good. How are you?
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m fine, sir. Thank you. I want to give my opinion on the Epstein mask.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, ma’am.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay. I have my doubts. But isn’t that when you’re supposed to have your most trust is when you have doubts? Mike, just like faith, when you have doubts, that’s when you should have your strongest faith.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right, right.
SPEAKER 09 :
My thought, since they’re closing this Epstein mess so fast, is maybe the people involved are involved in something else and they want to keep it hushed. so they can bring it all together and really put these people in jail or kick them out of the country or whatever punishment is deserved.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I like your theory, too, about having faith. You’ve got to have faith. You’ve got to have trust. And I’ve yet to meet one person— According to Mark Davis, he’s got two people in his life who are my friend in Dallas. Mark says two people he’s spoken to, they’ve been all on board with Trump until now. That to me is like Sasquatch. Who in the world has been supportive of Trump, but because of this whole Epstein controversy, now you’re not supporting him? I really got to meet somebody, and Teresa’s been trying to get one caller who can explain that to me. So please, if you feel that way, would you please call and explain yourself? I don’t think that exists. I don’t know what Mark is talking about. Who in the world would support a secure border, the economy, the success after success after success, the mass deportation, which is what you voted for? And because of Epstein, now you don’t support Trump? And you want Kamala Harris to be the next president? Or Gavin Newsom? Or Pete Buttigieg? Or Zoran Mamdani? Really, that’s where you are? Seriously? Michael is here in Greenville, South Carolina on Line 1. Hey, Michael, welcome. How are you? I’m good. How about you, Mike?
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m good. Good to be home again. I think different things can be true at the same time. I voted for Trump all three times, but I think that we’re being sold a load of goods on this. By who? I’ll tell you why it matters. By who? By the administration. By Trump? Yeah, and I’ll tell you why I think that. So he was president when Epstein was president. whatever. And, and so it was an intelligence operation. No, no, no, no, he wasn’t.
SPEAKER 04 :
No, he wasn’t. He wasn’t. What do you mean? He was president when Trump, when Epstein was, was what? Was killed. It was at the end of his administration or when Epstein died. Okay, I thought you meant he was president when Epstein was cavorting on his stupid island. Okay, go ahead. I misunderstood.
SPEAKER 03 :
Go ahead. I got you. So if the Epstein Island thing was an intelligence operation, which it surely smells like that, a couple things would be true. The president would probably have to sign off on getting rid of the asset. So Trump would have known that this was about to happen or happened in real time when it did. And then you look at, like, Dan Bongino when he was out there saying, yeah, he killed himself, that’s it. And you could just see it all over his face. And why would Dan Bongino lie? Well, he was read into the intelligence program. Now it becomes a felony, punishable.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay, I got it, I got it. So what you’re describing is a massive conspiracy theory. Now hear me out when I say that. You could be right. You absolutely could be right. But let’s look at what a conspiracy theory is. Because this would have to be a massive conspiracy that reaches all the way to President Trump. And you’re suggesting… Trump’s completely on board with lying to the American people, with covering stuff up, with being involved in a conspiracy. It was an intelligence operation and all this stuff. Now, again, don’t get me wrong, Michael. I’m not beating you up. You might be right. But the thing about a conspiracy theory is it’s a theory. It’s a theory. It’s the most important part of that phrase, conspiracy theory. All you’re doing here, and I say this with respect because you’re a great caller and I’m sure you’re a great guy. You’re throwing crap against the wall. That’s all you’re doing. And you’re wanting to see if maybe some of it will stick.
SPEAKER 03 :
Go ahead. I’d argue a couple things. One, you know, we were conspiracy theorists when we said, I’m not getting an experimental vaccine. Oh, I know. I know. I say that all the time. A lot of conspiracy theories are true. A lot of conspiracy theories are true. I say that all the time. You’re right.
SPEAKER 04 :
But again, that’s all you’re doing right now. Would you agree with that? It’s a conspiracy theory. Right?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, I don’t go around talking all day about, you know, I’ve seen this and that. I’m not saying that. I’m not saying that.
SPEAKER 04 :
Look, I’m up against a clock here, and you’re not letting me. I’m trying to get you to see if you’ll agree with this. You’re advancing a conspiracy theory. Would you agree with that? I would say that I’m not buying the official lie. The fact that you can’t acknowledge that you’re advancing a conspiracy theory proves it. Michael, I’m so sorry I’m up against a hard break, and I’m way over time. Thanks for the call. Portions of our show brought to you by MyPillow and Big Deal. Two sales in one. SPEAKER 07 :
The Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 01 :
There are three tiny toilets that are toilet units that have a sink attached to it. So they essentially drink. They get their drinking water and they brush their teeth where they poop in the same unit.
SPEAKER 07 :
In the Relief Factor studios, here’s Mike on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s the clip of the week. That’s a funny, there’s poor Debbie Wasserman Schultz. They eat or they brush their teeth where they poop. Yeah, it’s called a bathroom lady. Welcome to America. Where do you poop? Where do you go? Where do you brush your teeth? You go down the street and around the corner? I’m telling you what. I’m at a point right now, and I mentioned my buddy Chris DeGaulle a moment ago. Something that is so… Chris did something really neat. He called on David Limbaugh. What do you think Rush Limbaugh would be saying right now about Trump? You think Rush would be abandoning President Trump over the Epstein controversy? What do you think? Chris said, I don’t think that Limbaugh would be going scorched earth on Donald Trump. And Chris actually said online, I’d like to hear what David Limbaugh has to say, because I’ll take that back if David agrees, if David, who is, of course, Russia’s brother, would see it differently. And David Limbaugh posted a very thoughtful, detailed, pretty dramatic belief of where he thinks the Epstein thing is. I’m going to share that with you in just a moment. To me, it’s fascinating that I just had somebody who sent me an email about how disappointed they are. Phil and Penny, oh, Brother Mike, I love you and the Lord, but your defense of Epstein, the Epstein list, is not a good look. I’m defending an Epstein? That’s what you heard, Phil and Penny? Are you serious? Are you kidding me? I mean, there are people with a take that is actually beyond delusional. So I want to read what David Limbaugh wrote, again, urged by my friend and colleague Chris DeGaulle. saying, I don’t think Limbaugh would bail on Trump. I don’t think Rush Limbaugh would be turning on Trump. Here’s what David wrote. Many think Trump is being dismissive of the Epstein thing. Yeah, like Phil and Penny, right? Cavalier, if you will. David says, I don’t read it that way. I think he’s pissed. He’s racked up amazing, unprecedented policy accomplishments, and Epstein is sucking the wind out of it all. not to just his detriment, but ultimately to ours. I think we’re being presented with a false choice. You either favor full disclosure, no matter the law, and consequences about which we have no knowledge, or you’re a pedophile protector. Do you really believe Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, let alone Pam Bondi, despite her PR missteps, have something to hide? Is it conceivable that Kash Patel and Dan Bongino have railed about this issue for some time and now have some nefarious motive in changing their position? Did they find out unbeknownst to themselves that they’re on the list? Could there be some plausible explanation as to why they’re playing their cards close to the vest for the time being? Or is the fact that they’re doing so proof that they are suddenly embroiled in corruption? That is not plausible to me, David Limbaugh writes. I don’t think these people change their stripes that quickly. And I don’t think my willingness to trust them makes me an enabler of corruption or perversion. Back to Trump. If he were implicated, the Democrats would have crucified him when they had sole possession of the materials. Files, list, or no list? You know it. I know it. But now people who have doggedly supported him, even through tougher times, are turning on him and piling on with the opportunistic Democrats who heretofore haven’t given two shakes about this story. None of us knows the full story yet. None of us knows yet why the administration hasn’t done a better job explaining at least that they’ll be able to tell us more later. It seems that many have so much invested in believing the worst about all of this, that Epstein was the leader or at the center of a Robert Ludlam-style international conspiracy, that they can’t let it go. It’s as if their worldview will crumble if their worst suspicions aren’t vindicated. And if Trump and his administration happen to be in office when this whole thing fizzles, then they too must have nefariously been drawn into the conspiracy that is too powerful even for the fiercest of otherwise moral mortals. In the meantime, Trump’s heyday is being rained on and he feels betrayed by a bunch of supporters who in turn feel he has betrayed them. David says, I’m just asking for a little grace on both sides, especially the supporters who should at least give Trump, Bongino, Patel, and even Bondi some trust here before throwing them to the dogs. There has to be more to the story or possibly way less to the story. But the idea that previously non-corrupt people have immediately become corrupt just doesn’t pass the smell test. And it surprises me that so many supporters have been so quick to jump ship. I repeat, no way in hell am I defending the protection or insulation of pedophiles or corruption, he says. Trump’s policies on the border alone have burnished his credentials as an enemy of sex trafficking and pedophilia. As dramatic and juicy as it sounds, I don’t believe there’s a conclusion that the administration is concealing these files or lists. He says, look, God bless you all, because presumably we want the same things, except those who would exploit this issue or any others for their own self-aggrandizement. That’s David Limbaugh. And kudos to Chris Stegall for asking David to weigh in. I mean, he doesn’t directly say. I mean, who knows what Rush would be saying? I doubt very seriously. that Rush Limbaugh would be bailing on Donald Trump over Epstein. And gosh, do I miss Rush. Gosh, do I miss so many people. I think a lot about the people we’ve lost. I was just reading about a – I worked with a woman here in Greenville who lost her son-in-law, a hero. Her daughter’s husband, a former Major League Baseball prospect who became a South Carolina lawman, died a hero after he jumped into treacherous waters to save a family of five from a rip current. It’s such a horrifying story. And my heart breaks for Allison and the whole family. Chase Childers, 38 years old, vacationing at Pauley’s Island last weekend. when a woman asked for help rescuing the distressed swimmers, and Chase immediately, without hesitation, jumped into the water. His first responder instincts kicked in. He went into the water to save those people, and he did. Childers and another Good Samaritan helped the family, family of five, return safely to shore. However, Childers, who had used all of his energy to ensure the successful rescue, He disappeared in the water. He was taken by the rip current in front of his wife, Natalie, and their three kids. The Coast Guard recovered his body about 90 minutes after he went under. It’s just a heartbreaking story. And, of course, it totally, totally reinforces something I try to say all the time. Life is fragile. You know, we continue to pray for Dennis Prager, who’s lost, you know, a lot of mobility after a terrible fall. And he’s working through the rehab and all the challenges he faces. And this family about this hero, this guy who, baseball player turned cop, turned first responder in South Carolina. May his memory just be a total blessing. And our prayers are for Chase’s family and, of course, again, Allison, his mother-in-law, who I worked with in South Carolina. Our hearts are broken for that whole family. Just hang on and remember that life is but a blink of an eye. Remember the things that matter and pray. May God’s comfort heal that family. Stay with us. Oh, Julia? Look at you.
SPEAKER 05 :
Look at you. The wonderful Diane Carroll. She would have been 90 today, passed away back in 2019. But I loved this show. And it was, you know, you could say racial tensions were a thing in 1968. But the crotchety old actor Lloyd Nolan, you remember him? He was Dr. Chegley or whatever his name was. And she was a middle class person, a nurse, a mom raising a kid. So before Cosby sort of normalized and de-stereotypified a black life, there was Julia. She was also the first black woman right into your world to win a Tony for Best Actress.
SPEAKER 04 :
Let’s talk some more. I want to talk the whole segment about obscure TV shows from the 1960s. Because there’s nothing going on.
SPEAKER 05 :
I think we need to talk about— Oh, like you don’t want to tell us about going to four Broadway shows yesterday.
SPEAKER 04 :
Let’s talk about Connie. I want to talk about Connie Francis. Yes, the death of Connie Francis. Now, that was a legend. Yeah. Let’s talk about her music. I want to talk about anything but Epstein. Oh, I get it. I want to do anything but Epstein.
SPEAKER 05 :
Flood the zone. Flood the zone.
SPEAKER 04 :
Look at the time. What a talent she was. Did I tell you about the time I went and saw her perform in upstate New York back in the day?
SPEAKER 05 :
Did you go backstage? Did you meet 14 people and tell me about all of them?
SPEAKER 04 :
I didn’t meet them. Oh, it’s okay, Mike.
SPEAKER 05 :
It’s okay. It’s all right. It’s all right.
SPEAKER 04 :
What a mess. What a mess. I mean, I took the day off yesterday, did something fun. Don’t want to get into too many details, but I wound up in New York sort of the last minute for a trip on behalf of some friends. Mm-hmm. Back now in South Carolina, where I’m spending wonderful time here. I’m telling you, you and Lisa should come visit.
SPEAKER 05 :
It is a wonderful place. Just a great state.
SPEAKER 04 :
But I got my nose plugged into the interwebs. And I got my phone. And my eyes and my ears are bleeding. Because I’m trying to make sense of it all.
SPEAKER 05 :
Where were you when Trump went full flame on Truth Social yesterday at about 9?
SPEAKER 04 :
I was trying to crawl into a hole. I was finding an 8-foot… deep hole that I could crawl into when he seemed to flame his former supporters. Now, look, all right, so let’s stipulate a few things. He’s frustrated. He’s upset. He can’t believe that the Epstein thing is still lingering, that people are still fired up about it, and they are. Of course. Look, like you wrote in your Star Telegram piece, People have a right to demand accountability after being lied to over and over and over again. We get it, we get it, we get it. I want to do a deep dive on the phrase conspiracy theory. Because to me, the more important of the two words is theory. We always focus on the conspiracy theory. But let’s not also minimize the impact of theory in conspiracy theory. You know what a theory is? It’s like, well, it could be this. It could be that. It could be true. It could be false. You know, to paraphrase your friend Tucker Carlson, I’m just asking questions here. It’s a theory. I’m just throwing it out there. That’s the whole DNA of a conspiracy theory. There could be a list somewhere that got destroyed or that they’re hiding or that implicates powerful people, or there could not be. You believe there’s no list. I kind of think there’s no list. I’m going to break this down and understand that you and I are going to play this exactly right. We’re not going to shut down the people who are frustrated by it, but we’re going to keep this in proper perspective. This is all about perspective here. Do you realize Republicans have been promising to defund public television and radio for decades?
SPEAKER 05 :
And we could never do it.
SPEAKER 04 :
Guess who got it done? We’ve promised it over and over again. Again, the list of promises made, promises kept, is astounding in six months. We got all these victories. We got these enormous accomplishments. And people are bailing on Trump over Epstein. Now, here’s some perspective. If you’re bailing on Trump over Epstein, you weren’t particularly on board to begin with. There’s no way around this. I’d like to say there is. I’d like to say somebody changed their mind about Trump over Epstein. No, you didn’t. No, you didn’t. You think you’ve got cover now to come out of hiding and torch him because that’s what you’ve wanted to do all along. I really believe that.
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m going to partially push back. Because I think generally you’re right. There are a lot of people who are saying that they were all on board MAGA red hat wearing and now I’m out. And I think those people are lying. But with a couple of folks that I’ve talked to and a couple of folks who maybe you’ve talked to or may yet talk to. There are some people who are 1,000% in for him. And the list of reasons is long. It contains all the things you just mentioned, fixing the border, gender sanity, environmental sanity, fiscal sanity, government efficiency, blah, blah, blah. But also on that list is this promise that he and his team seemed to make that you will get your client list. And having been denied that is, they feel, a betrayal of the highest order. So it’s not all faint followers or squishes.
SPEAKER 04 :
And I don’t know how you resolve that, to tell you the truth, because that gets to the core of what I think has happened here. I think that the sharp-elbowed red meat members of Trump world, maybe President Trump himself, to some degree, overpromised, The whole Epstein story. And now they got under the hood and they said, well, there’s not a lot there. The bad guy’s dead. His pimp is in jail. There’s not a whole lot left here that we can do. Now, that’s not satisfying to people. No. But that’s what I think happened. Now, but again, that’s a theory, Mark. I could be wrong. Maybe Trump is in on it. Maybe he’s covering up for pedophiles. I know. Hardly likely. Hardly likely that even Pam Bondi is giving cover to pedophiles. Hardly likely that Kash Patel is protecting pedophiles. So something else is going on. So I don’t know. I mean, Miranda Devine wrote a piece in the New York Post. Here’s how Trump fixes this. And she essentially said. And going scorched earth on his supporters might not be the primary way to do it. But she does suggest somehow they’ve got to get a hold of this. But she doesn’t really say how. Now, part of that is a technical glitch because I think my team sent me a partial article of Miranda Devine. So I think when I got to the part where she said there’s a remedy, I didn’t get to the actual remedy.
SPEAKER 05 :
Here’s what he should do.
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s like, leave me hanging.
SPEAKER 05 :
It’s an ad for a pool floatie.
SPEAKER 04 :
But the part where I got to, and Eric and Joey and the team are scrambling to fill the board. I bet they are now. Yeah, well, no kidding. Having been shamed. Oh, yeah, I’m reading this right before coming to you. I’m thinking, oh, good, I get to the cliffhanger. Here’s what he needs to do. But it was the beginnings of… Get a hold of this thing. Figure out how to get ahead of this. So what does that look like?
SPEAKER 05 :
Because that sounds great.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s the question.
SPEAKER 05 :
So let me put it in the form of a Q&A for you, Mike Gallagher. For you, Mike Gallagher. Mike Gallagher. Should Pam Bondi just release something? And I don’t mean just find empty pages. You can’t make something up. What if there’s nothing to release? And then Trump puts it right in her lap. It’s not Trump sitting there saying, I call on Pam Bondi to release all this stuff. He clearly, for some reason, doesn’t want to do that. So he says to her, if there’s something valid, if there’s something confirmable, if there’s something reliable, go ahead and release it. So now the onus is on her.
SPEAKER 04 :
And if there’s not? If there’s nothing releasable, then what are you going to do?
SPEAKER 05 :
Then you have to say so. Well, he is. He is. He’s saying it’s a hoax. But yes, that the existence and what he means is not that there was no pedophile ring and no misbehavior or maybe not even some significant people involved in it. at some point. But the notion that there is a tasty, salacious, sizzling client list that will be bombshell upon bombshell, that was the hoax. And the barrier here, not so much with Trump, but with some folks we really, really love, like Bongino and Patel. is they spent a lot of time mouthing off about, here it comes, don’t let this go, you’re being lied to. And now that they have real jobs in real government, they realize that they overplayed it exponentially, and they don’t want to say, we made a mistake.
SPEAKER 04 :
Let’s acknowledge that this is the one pitfall. This is the consequence of liking cable news stars to join your team. These are cable news stars. And they’re good at it. I mean, they’re very good at clicks. They’re very good at engagement. That’s dismissive, though. That’s kind of broadly dismissive. But it’s true, Mark. But it’s true. That’s who these people are. Is Judge Jeanine Pirro a problem? No. I didn’t say problem. I didn’t say that. It’s not a pejorative. I’m telling you it’s a consequence. These are people who know how to give good material.
SPEAKER 05 :
You and I know how to give good material.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, but if we were in the Trump administration?
SPEAKER 05 :
I know, but if, let’s say, you and I were named to White House posts tomorrow, ooh, I get tingly thinking about that, they’re not going to come back and find audio or video of you or me promising everybody a client list. You know why? Because we restrained ourselves. We didn’t do it.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I don’t know that that’s true. We do hours a day of provocative commentary. Well, I don’t know. I mean, but there’s things you could have said. You know how to deliver material to an audience. Most bureaucrats aren’t of that ilk. Most people aren’t Seb Gorka, aren’t Jeanine Pirro, aren’t even, I mean, these are… Perfect example. Your example proves my point there.
SPEAKER 05 :
You just gave Dr. Gorka. They’re not going to find something Seb said on a show that he’ll have to explain or apologize for or wring his hands over in White House service.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, they’ve been doing it relentlessly. Tried but failed. Yeah, but these are provocateurs. And I don’t say that in a pejorative way. They’re not Washington bureaucrats. So all I’m saying is the consequence of hiring. a cable news star is that you’re going to have a body of evidence. Look, Trump never said he was campaigning on the Epstein files. No, that’s a lot of people have said that. Trump campaigned on this, but we didn’t. He was asked one time whether in one interview, apparently on a podcast in September of 2024, he was asked specifically about it. He said, I’ll take a look at it.
SPEAKER 05 :
That’s all he said. I’m leaning toward it. He absolutely never promised a release of the Epstein files.
SPEAKER 04 :
No. You know what he campaigned on? Reducing inflation. Fixing the border. The stuff he’s done. The stuff he’s actually done. And don’t you know?
SPEAKER 05 :
Don’t you know? Listen, you know him. You know him even a little better. You’ve spent more time around him than I have. This is driving him insane. Oh, he’s frustrated. And he deserves to be. I totally get it. My Star-Telegram column point this morning is… He and the team need to handle this a little better, navigate it with a little more skill. But I totally understand how it’s just putting his voluminous hair on fire, even more orange than it usually is, at the notion that all these successes are being eaten alive by Epstein mania.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I’m going to turn it over to the audience because I want to make sure because I’m not real clear where the audience is on this. I thought I had it understood. I mean, when I left before I took yesterday off, basically, I thought most people were saying we got to move on. And most are.
SPEAKER 05 :
And most, if the definition of most is 50.0001% or more. Most, absolutely.
SPEAKER 04 :
Absolutely. I don’t know. I’m not entirely sure I agree with that. Here’s what I do know. Real quick note about New York. You know, we interviewed Curtis Lewa the other day. Yes. And this Mamdani character is such a fascinating, out-of-state donors are now flocking to the campaign. I mean, he is a dream for the AOCs of the world. Well, there’s a brand-new poll just came out from HarrisX. Yes. Look, in a four-way race, where do you hear these results?
SPEAKER 05 :
Go ahead.
SPEAKER 04 :
Mamdani is ahead 26%, right? Look at there. He’s tied with Cuomo, essentially, 23%. Sliwa, 22%. Look at there. And you know who’s fourth? Eric Adams.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, Eric Adams, exactly. I’m sorry.
SPEAKER 04 :
Eric Adams, the incumbent, he’s at 13%. So look, in a four-way race, it’s very competitive. I know one thing. If Cuomo and Sliwa somehow united, they win. They beat this guy. Yep, I know. It’s going to come down to that. It’s going to come down to one of the two of them saying, all right, let’s coalesce, because they’re going to split the vote, Mark. I’m telling you, if it’s Cuomo and Sliwa, and maybe it is, and I love me some Curtis, I wish Cuomo would say, look, I’m kind of disgraced. I’ve had this terrible track record. I was drummed out of office. He’s going to do that. Well, he might be more inclined to do it than Curtis. Curtis ain’t going anywhere.
SPEAKER 05 :
And neither is Eric Adams, I don’t think.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, Eric Adams is almost an afterthought.
SPEAKER 05 :
You think somebody couldn’t use his 13%? That’s 13% in a close race. But if it’s 23 and 22, I like those numbers.
SPEAKER 04 :
I do, too. That’s 55. All righty, man. Big clobber.
SPEAKER 05 :
All right, so here we are back in the upstate. It’s going to be fine. It’s all going to be fine. As you listen to the people. Connie Francis, that was a thing.
SPEAKER 04 :
It sure was.
SPEAKER 05 :
Here’s 47 details of her upbringing. But here’s the thing. You and I have talked about this a lot. You could fill the lines with people who say, I’m done with Trump because of this. It does not make them a majority. It makes them a voice worthy of hearing, no doubt about it. We’ve dealt with this our entire careers.
SPEAKER 04 :
I don’t think there are people who are actually saying I’m done with Trump because of Epstein.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, I’ve talked to two of them, at least. Really? Yep. Diehard Trump supporters? Yep, yep, yep. Say they are. And they’re done with him because of Epstein? It’s a moment. Oh, thanks for letting me say this.
SPEAKER 04 :
No, they’re not. That’s not real.
SPEAKER 05 :
It is a momentary tantrum.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s not legitimate. There’s no way that’s legitimate, Mark.
SPEAKER 05 :
They mean it. They mean it now.
SPEAKER 04 :
They’ll get better. Well, that’s how I’ll start the show. I’ll find out if there’s anybody really done with Trump because of Epstein. All right. Love you. Happy Thursday. Love you.
SPEAKER 05 :
Mike Gallagher from the Palmetto State. Ready to go as soon as we’re done. 10 o’clock. Right here on 660 AM. The answer. For full shows live and on demand, it’s the Salem News Channel.
