It was difficult circumstances. Dennis, of course, suffered a tough fall two weeks before the cruise. He is in the hospital in Los Angeles. recovering. He had a very serious injury. Almost got mugged in Aruba. That was an experience. I can tell you a little bit about that a little later if you’re interested. And it was all on me, big dummy me, roaming around looking for a drugstore. And just about wound up in a deserted alley with three young Aruban thugs who were going to… do goodness knows what to me. But I made it. My spidey sense kicked in, and I got away. But anyway, the people on the ship were so gracious and so patient and understanding, and we did our best to entertain them. We had great panel discussions about politics and the culture and spirituality. I did a big presentation of the trip we took to Israel after October 7th. People seemed to appreciate that. I did a whole Trump.2… Trump 2.0 presentation as President Trump prepares to go back to the Oval Office. Doesn’t it feel great to know how we dodged a catastrophe with the November 5th election? I started following somebody named Yitz Friedman on social media, on X, and I just reposted a thread that he posted of breaking down President Trump sitting down with Kirsten Welker, Kirsten Welker on NBC. Is it Kirsten? I always get it mixed up. I always get Kirsten and Kirsten mixed up. I guess she’s Kirsten Welker, right? She’s the host of Meet the Press. And Yitz writes on his platform, on X, on his account, I’ve worked in TV and media. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Trump sat down with her for an hour and 16 minutes. And it was an absolute master class by Donald Trump. Welker exposed herself as a complete idiot. Here are some of the more insane moments from Trump’s extensive conversation on NBC’s Meet the Press. First of all, what the heck in the world is this? She condescends to Trump. Instead of asking him about the minimum wage, she’s trying to convince him, as a so-called journalist… to raise the minimum wage. I mean, that’s not what a journalist does. It’s completely inappropriate. But nonetheless, Trump proceeds to educate her on basic economics, something that she clearly didn’t grasp.
SPEAKER 09 :
There are 20 states that still have the federal minimum wage at $7.25, and I actually have a map. Nineteen of these states actually voted for you, sir. Mm-hmm. And you can see it right here. I don’t know if you remember this, but during the debate in 2020, I asked you if you would raise the minimum wage. You said you would consider it. And so my question for you is, now that you are going back to the White House, For these 19 states that voted for you, are you going to raise the federal federal wage?
SPEAKER 07 :
It’s a very low number. I will agree. It’s a very low number. Let me give you the downside, though. In California, they raised it up to a very high number. And your restaurants are going out of business all over the place. The population is shrinking. It’s had a very negative impact. But there is a level at which you could do it. Absolutely.

What is that level?
SPEAKER 07 :
I don’t know. I mean, I really don’t know. I can say this. You have a lot of businesses that are open and thriving because of the lower minimum wage. If you raise it too much and you understand this, if California went crazy, they went crazy and people, the restaurants are closing all of them. Many more people are hurt.
SPEAKER 09 :
So I hear you saying. Similarly to sort of what you said in 2020, will you consider this as something you’re going to look at?
SPEAKER 07 :
I’d want to speak to the governors. And the other thing that is very complicated about minimum wages is places are so different. Mississippi and Alabama and great places are very different than New York or California. I mean, in terms of the cost of living and other things. So it would be nice to have just a minimum wage for the whole country, but it wouldn’t work because you have places where it’s very inexpensive to live, where a minimum wage, which is eight or nine dollars might be, you know, might have very much very little effect because the cost of living in certain places is really low.
SPEAKER 03 :
Now, she goes on to quote the 14th Amendment. She completely edits, deceptively edits the U.S. Constitution. The 14th Amendment, because get ready for this, the mass deportation and ending birthright citizenship. Now, listen to what she says to Trump in deceptively editing the U.S. Constitution.
SPEAKER 09 :
You promised to end birthright citizenship on day one. Is that still your plan?
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER 09 :
The 14th Amendment, though, says that, quote, all persons born in the United States are citizens. Can you get around the 14th Amendment with an executive action?
SPEAKER 03 :
Now, wait a minute. Did you know what she left out? Here’s what the 14th Amendment says. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof. are citizens of the United States. Notice how she left that part out? So she cut that out. Meaning, according to a lot of experts, not illegal immigrants. Not illegal immigrants. How about this one, this double standard? She puts on her very concerned face. It’s like a Kamala face when you put your hand under your chin and you look concerned. Oh, I’m concerned. And tries to lecture Trump about how his words have weight. when he says he won’t order the DOJ or the FBI to prosecute Liz Cheney and others, although he does feel they ought to be in jail, keep in mind how often Biden said Trump was a threat to democracy and should be locked up. But of course, oh, I’ve got nothing to do with lawfare against President Trump. Here’s an insane double standard as presented by Kristen Welker of NBC.

And what did they do? They deleted and destroyed a whole year and a half worth of testimony. Do you know that I can’t get I think those people committed a major crime and Cheney was behind it. And so was Benny Thompson and everybody on that committee. We’re going to for what they did.

Honestly, they should go to jail.

So you think Liz Cheney should go to jail?

They can do whatever they want. I mean, it’s amazing. And the double standards continue. Now, he completely shames her about her profession and the mainstream media. In 2024, she’s sitting there with the newly elected president. She turns the conversation to what is on everybody’s mind, January 6th, because they can’t let January 6th go. They never will. His response is amazing.

Let me ask you this about January 6th.

I wish you could be a… You know, you have such potential. If you could be just non-biased, you hurt yourself so badly. I’m telling you, they deleted and destroyed all the evidence. Everyone knows it. And you slough it off like it doesn’t mean anything.

Hugh did the first half of the cruise. I did the second half. Many, many thanks to the wonderful, wonderful members of our audience who are on that ship expecting Dennis. Dennis, of course, suffering a terrible fall and is recovering in a hospital. We’re continuing to pray for Dennis’s healing and comfort. His wife, Sue, and… the family, and the many, many fans of Dennis Prager. The cruise turned out to be just a wonderful experience. I mean, I went at the last minute, didn’t know where I was going. In fact, I wound up, I was flown into Aruba to meet the cruise ship, and I had a pretty scary experience in Aruba. all because I stupidly wandered around looking for a drugstore. Well, I’m ready. I mean, speaking of the jungle, how about New York City? riding the subway, you might take your life into your own hands. And I know what that feels like. Daniel Penny is facing his fate. They are now day five of the deliberations in the Daniel Penny trial. He’s the Good Samaritan who saved fellow passengers from the violent unhinged actions of a criminal who sadly died when Daniel Penny restrained him, and Alvin Bragg seeing a white Marine restraining a black guy who suffered an untimely demise, the prosecutor there said, we’re going to throw this guy in prison for many years. Now, when the shoe is on the other foot, when a young black guy has an encounter with somebody on the subway. Nothing happened to him. Tracy, can you find that story for me, please? The story of the young black man. I forget his name. The comparison between what he faced in terms of consequences and what Daniel Penny is facing. And critics, legal scholars are absolutely blasting the judge in this New York City case for not instructing the jury in another way than the way he did. It’s a real crazy story. And we’re going to see how this unfolds. They dropped the more serious story. I think it was manslaughter. It was second-degree manslaughter that they dropped on Friday, and now he’s facing involuntary homicide, which is a lesser crime, but he could still wind up going to jail. This guy, he better not spend one day in jail. One day. It’s the weaponization of the court system. It’s what liberals and Democrats do these days, and that’s why the November 5th election was so important. That’s why we’ve got to push back, and we are pushing back. And the mayor of New York, Eric Adams, he’s a Democrat. Check out what he said to a local reporter. She’s a legend, Marcia Kramer. She’s on CBS2 in New York City. He talked about the weaponization of the Justice Department, not only against people like Daniel Penny, frankly, but against politicians, public figures like Donald Trump.

And now we’re hearing others are saying that Biden should pardon people because this would be difficult on their families and difficult on them, and they would have to pay high legal fees. What about me? What about those mothers who are placed on FBI watch lists because they were standing up for their children?

Well, you said the other day you think that the justice system has been politicized. You believe that, don’t you?
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes, I do, with all my heart. But not only do I believe it, the president stated it. Donald Trump stated it. And countless others. You should look at some of these stories, what happened to people that stand up because of what they believe in. I believed in this city. We were going in the wrong direction with the migrants and asylum seekers. And I was very clear about that after 10 trips to Washington, D.C. I know what this crisis has done to our city long term. And New Yorkers are going to see the byproduct of $6.4 billion removed from our coffers.

That’s the Democrat mayor of New York City. Now, you can be cynical and point to his legal troubles, and they’re coming after him, too. But I would argue when you’re the victim of the weaponization of the court system, the political weaponization, you see things through a whole different light. I think Eric Adams sees the light. I think Eric Adams absolutely recognizes… what it means for a corrupt FBI, for a corrupt Justice Department, for a corrupt law enforcement agency to upend people’s lives. And, of course, always the caveat, I’m not saying that every FBI agent, every law enforcement officer, there’s a whole lot of honorable people. It’s one of the most honorable professions. It’s my passion, Gallagher’s Heroes, the Fallen Officer Fund. We support law enforcement and their families by publishing the First Responders Bible and helping the families of officers who’ve been killed in the line of duty. How angry are you going to be if Fauci, of all people, gets a preemptive pardon? How angry are you going to be if Adam Kinzinger or Liz Cheney? Do you know how corrupt that January 6th committee was? How they stacked the deck against Trump and others? How they’ve rounded people up for being at the Capitol on January 6th? Oh, you’re going to see pardons coming from Donald Trump. So now they want Biden to preemptively pardon people who have been corrupt. How are you going to react? What will your feeling be if Tony Fauci gets a preemptive pardon? And incidentally, people would say, have said, well, wait a minute, if you haven’t done anything wrong, why do you need to have a preemptive pardon? Yeah, ask Donald Trump. Democrats know how to prosecute and persecute people who have done nothing wrong. They’re good at it. So they’re projecting. Daniel Penny has been found not guilty. A Manhattan jury has cleared Marine Daniel Penny of any criminal wrongdoing in the death of Jordan Neely on that crowded subway. Boy, they’re already protesting in New York City. I’m already telling my team there, Eric, Christian, you guys be careful. Christian just said, boy, now I got to get on the subway later today. Daniel Penny found not guilty. The jury acquitted Penny of criminally negligent homicide, which could have put him behind bars for up to four years. manslaughter, which was the top charge that Alvin Bragg’s office tried to stick Daniel Penny with, that was thrown out Friday when jurors twice said they couldn’t reach a unanimous verdict. Well, now the jury today, after deliberating, has cleared Daniel Penny of criminal wrongdoing. Not guilty. This guy gets to get on with his life. And incidentally, one of the representatives in Washington wants to give this guy the Medal of Honor for being a good Samaritan. Gosh, this is such good news. And this is going to send shockwaves all over the country to these radical activist prosecutors who want to send good people to prison to make some political statement or some racial statement. And that’s what this was about. This was all about the district attorney going after the white guy. Do you remember the case of Jordan Williams? If you’re in New York, you probably do. He was a 20-year-old man who fatally stabbed a guy on the subway. Grand jury didn’t indict him. The Brooklyn district attorney’s office said, our office conducted an impartial and thorough investigation… And the charges against Jordan Williams have been dismissed. Yeah, well, what’s the difference? He’s black. 20-year-old black guy who stabbed DeVictor Odrigago, 36 years old, on the Brooklyn J train in June of 2023. Odrigago, or however you pronounce the guy’s name, the bad guy, punched and assaulted… Jordan Williams’ girlfriend and was harassing other passengers. So Jordan Williams, the 20-year-old guy, takes out a knife and stabbed him to death. Oh, he’s okay. No problem there. But Daniel Penny, let’s throw the book at him. said the district attorney’s office in New York City. Well, Daniel Penny was seen smiling after the not guilty verdict. There are protests erupting in and around the New York City courtroom. But common sense and sanity has prevailed, even in a New York courtroom. Huge, huge news. There was a person of interest… who has been arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania, a person of interest in association with the assassination of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. Somebody was using a fake ID, according to the New York Post, in Altoona, PA. And they arrested this guy, and they are describing him as a person of interest. Could this be the shooter? Could this be the killer? We’re going to find out. 22 minutes before the hour, and again, we can all sort of sigh, breathe a sigh of relief. At least normal people will be relieved. But the left, they’re not normal. What’s normal about celebrating the cold-blooded killing of a young health care executive named Brian Thompson? What’s normal about that? What’s normal about people sitting around and cheering on the cowardly, cold-blooded assassination of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. I’m seeing different news accounts. Threats are being issued now after the jury has found… Watch the left lose their minds over this one. Watch all the usual race baiters and the race hustlers. Al Sharpton will inevitably hold a press conference denouncing the racist criminal system. But it was insane that Daniel Penny was facing any criminal charges. He was a hero. The guy was a good Samaritan. You want Daniel Penny on your bus or on your train or in a public place. You want somebody who is willing to stand up and defend innocent people. So there will be shockwaves over this one. I was really worried for him. I thought they would convict him on the lesser charge, but they did not. And there was a corrupt judge in North Carolina. She was a disaster. And she was friends with the jury, and the deck was stacked against him. And he spent, look, he was in prison. He was actually shanked in prison and was completely innocent. What a horrific, horrific feeling that must be to have the system come at you. Here’s a text also from South Carolina. There will definitely be shockwaves all over, but this Marine deserves a medal. Two big breaking stories coming at the same time. The New York Post is reporting that a man was picked up in Altoona, Pennsylvania today, this morning, using a fake ID. There’s a nationwide hunt against, you know, trying to find this gunman who snuck behind UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on the sidewalk. pulled out what looked like a handgun with a silencer and calmly unloaded multiple shots at his back. And the gunman got away, but there has been a person of interest arrested in Altoona, PA. We’ll see if that’s connected. But, of course, the other big breaking story is the… is the not guilty verdict for Daniel Penny. What great news. I am elated. I am so relieved. And incidentally, it’s going to send a message to good Samaritans all over the place. Instead of every man, woman, and child having to fend for themselves, instead of having little old ladies wondering if anybody’s going to come to their rescue, thanks to the common sense jury verdict in New York City, People can step up again.
