The Mike Gallagher Show on Salem News Channel and the Salem Radio Network.
SPEAKER 02 :
This is one of the really deranged things that I think illegal immigration does to our society is it gets us in a mindset of saying we can only build houses with illegal immigrants. We have seven million just men, not even women, just men who have completely dropped out of the labor force. We cannot have an entire American business community that is giving up on American workers and then importing millions of illegal laborers.
SPEAKER 13 :
In the ReliefFactor.com studios, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 04 :
He’s great. That’s J.D. Vance. Marco Rubio is great. What a bench we’ve got. Who am I missing? I know I’m already missing people. Donald Trump Jr. is great. Maybe Don Jr. carries the torch. Who do you think… is best suited to lead this country. Now we’ve got tons of breaking news, and here’s some news out of Virginia. Congressman Jerry Connolly, Democrat from Virginia, has passed away following a fairly brief cancer battle. He announced his initial diagnosis with esophageal cancer about six months ago. He was 75 years old. So that’s a big story because, of course, the Republicans have a slim majority in the House of Representatives, and now the Democrats have lost one of their own, and a veteran, Congressman Jerry Connolly, dead at the age of 75. Speaking of passings, George Wendt, the actor who played Norm, on Cheers, died peacefully in his sleep yesterday. He was 76 years old. Quite the life and the legacy and, of course, one of my favorite shows, Cheers, starring the great Kelsey Grammer. Here’s Bob in Philadelphia. Bob, what do you think about Marco Rubio as the 2028 nominee for president?
SPEAKER 03 :
He’s awesome. I love Rubio. He is sharp as a tack. I’ve been following his career for the last 12 years, and I definitely think he should be our next president of the United States.
SPEAKER 04 :
I mean, maybe it’s a Marco Rubio. I don’t think J.D. Vance goes for VP again, but even Vance and Rubio on the ticket, or maybe J.D. sort of, you know, I don’t know. I don’t think he fades into obscurity, but Marco Rubio. Did you hear that three and a half minutes with Van Hollen that we just played?
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes, that was amazing. Like I said, he is so smart. He’s excellent in foreign policy, and he nailed it. That was a great video, and I’ve been following your show every day now forever. Oh, thank you. Thanks for all your great work.
SPEAKER 04 :
Thank you, Bob. You’re very kind. Thank you, Bob. You’re a good man. One open line, 800-655-MIKE. You know, Floridians are sort of surprised at this. I talked to a friend of mine earlier today who’s a lifelong Floridian. And she said, Marco Rubio wasn’t like this as senator. Something has changed with him. There’s something different about Marco Rubio today from Marco Rubio as senator from the state of Florida. Now, this particular friend of mine happens to be a Trump fan. fanatic, so of course she gives Trump the credit. Oh, Trump did it! Trump can’t make somebody into something that they’re not. I don’t think it’s Trump. Her theory is Trump just sort of set him loose. This has to come from within. Marco Rubio has to come up with Marco Rubio of 2025. But I do think she’s right. The Marco Rubio we’re seeing now is not the same Marco Rubio. I’ve always liked him. Now I’m, like, ready to sign up to work for his campaign. Now, you know, maybe it’s overstated to say, well, one day, a hearing, but it’s more than one day. It’s been the last few months. He is as impressive as can be. He left that Chris Van Hollen… sputtering and stammering and spitting and heaving. That was a crime scene. That was a crime scene. That was an absolute crime scene. Officer, I want to report a crime. Chris Van Hollen was mugged. And I think he’s the real deal. Here’s Bill from Warren, Michigan on the MyPillow text line. If Don Jr. runs, at least we’re not wasting the money on all those Trump 2028 hats. True. We could save a lot of money on merch. Brandon in Washington, D.C. Vance Rubio, 2028. And here’s South Carolina. I’m only about 20 minutes into the show on X today trying to catch up, but yes, I think a Rubio-Vance ticket would be awesome in 2028. Vance just isn’t quite ready yet, but that would get him ready. Well, yeah, but isn’t that strange to be the vice president for one term and then be somebody else’s vice president? I don’t know that J.D. would want to do that. Maybe so, I don’t know. 800-655-MIKE, 21 before the hour. We’ll give you the latest on the all-night negotiations over the big, beautiful bill. For me, not even a close call. Be unified, Republicans. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We cannot let the Trump tax cuts expire. The Trump tax cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, it cannot expire forever. Trump knows what he’s doing. Trust him. Trust what he’s doing. And this is not a time to strut around and try to get clicks and attention. And, of course, you know who we’re talking to, Thomas Massey, president. I don’t know why any Republican congressman, regardless of your ideology, wants to be the guy to take on Donald Trump right now. Trump has got enormous popularity. Have you seen the approval ratings? Have you seen the polls? You know, goofy Jessica Tarloff loves polls. She’s not talking much about Trump’s approval ratings right now because they’re all going up. There’s like nine polls. He’s ascending in all of them. Americans accept and appreciate and are rooting for him to succeed. And you know something? Thomas Massey, these guys are wrong. I appreciate that they are people of principle. I don’t want to say they’re grandstanding. Because I truly believe that they feel in their heart that torpedoing the Trump agenda is good for the country. Now, they’re wrong. They’re completely wrong. Here’s what Donald Trump said yesterday himself. Here’s the president sort of taking Thomas Massey, the Kentucky bad boy, the Kentucky rebel, the Kentucky rogue. Here’s President Trump taking Congressman Massey out to the woodshed yesterday.
SPEAKER 03 :
He thinks he’s going to get publicity. And you have that. You have that. They’ve got some, too.
SPEAKER 04 :
I don’t think you want to be the guy in President Trump’s crosshairs these days. Be unified, Republicans. Do the right thing. Here’s a text message from California. My favorite for 2028 is Mike Johnson for president. He’s very centric. Republicans and Democrats would both like him. Now, I’ve never done this for a texter. Normally, I hit the song for a caller. But this time, I think the texter deserves it.
SPEAKER 10 :
I’m a clumpy old troll who lives under the bridge. Hey, I’m a clumpy old troll who lives under the bridge.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, I think that’s a troll text. I don’t think anybody’s sitting around fantasizing about Speaker Mike Johnson for president in 2028 because of his centric nature. Nice try, California. You’re a troll. I’m loving this box. This little sound machine that Tom Trout gave me. I’m going to carry this around with me. When Tracy gets me aggravated, I’m just going to have to… That’s not the right thing to play. I was going to play the shotgun sound effect, but that could be an HR violation because I definitely don’t want to shotgun Tracy. Imagine that. Hey, Eric Hansen, you want me to do what? I got to cut 19 spots today? That’ll be the end of that. Loving this thing. The sound machine. Tom Trout up a gift. It’s the coolest little box. I’m going to start giving them out as Christmas presents. Hey, a portion of our show is sponsored by Fellowship Home Loans. If you know me, you know I only put my name behind people I trust. SPEAKER 13 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s just hard to believe how many things are going so right, so well, so splendidly. We’ll see what happens with President Trump’s big, beautiful bill. I’m hoping and praying. I know Ralph Norman from South Carolina went from no to a yes. There are a few others who seem to be coming around. The Freedom Caucus is getting the message. Look, we appreciate your principled stand against the deficit and spending. Don’t give the Democrats the win that they so desperately want. Good things are coming. You’ve got to trust this guy. You’ve got to trust this president. There’s a podcaster named Patrick Bet-David. He’s got the PBD podcast, a very popular podcast. And he had a really optimistic, sunny disposition about things to come under Trump’s leadership in the United States.
SPEAKER 11 :
What do you have on your cap there, PBD? It says future looks bright because I believe 2026 is going to be the greatest year we’ve had in the history of our lives in America. 250 year anniversary. The president’s going to turn 80. World Cup’s coming here. It’s going to be a big IPO year. I think the market’s going to go to places we’ve never seen before. I’m very excited about the future.
SPEAKER 05 :
All right. Well, you’ll have to send me a hat because I already got the humidor and that thing stocked.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s Jesse Waters hosting Patrick Bet-David last night. The future is bright. 2026 is going to be an epic year. And that’s kind of the way I see it. It’s going to take some time here. Rome wasn’t built overnight. It’s going to take a few months. Maybe a year. 2026… is going to be an extraordinary year. The future is bright. I don’t know what to make of the Jake Tapper, Joe Biden scandal, and it is a scandal. You’ve got to see Megyn Kelly. My gosh, Jake Tapper is doing a book tour, and we had an opportunity to interview him, and I don’t want to talk to him. I don’t want to contribute to book sales. But I’m torn because I know that’s probably a ridiculous position on my part because everybody’s talking about the book. Original sin. The tell-all about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and how it was covered up. Everybody around him covered it up. And the media covered it up. And Jake Tapper is one of the biggest culprits. I mean, we’ve all got the receipts. We’ve seen clip after clip of Jake Tapper mocking anybody and attacking any conservative who dared to question Joe Biden’s mental acuity. And now he’s profiting on a book about the decline of Joe Biden. And He wanted to get grilled by Megyn Kelly. He had to know that Megyn Kelly was going to give it to him with both barrels on her podcast. And boy, did she ever.
SPEAKER 09 :
Over here in my ecosphere, we were covering all of these. It wasn’t just falling down. It was getting lost. It was some of the stuff you report in your book. We knew and we were reporting on, like, the multi-jump cuts in the videos of him. Or it was obvious he couldn’t get through a one-minute take. It was clear to us that he was using teleprompter. And there was some reporting on that at the time, all of which the White House was denying. Now, the current White House, I have some connections. With the Joe Biden White House, I had none. But you did. There was an attempted cover up. It could only ever work if you allowed it, if the press allowed it. Some of us tried not to and some of us were complicit.
SPEAKER 06 :
The Biden White House did not like me. OK, this is I do not have great connections with the Biden White House.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, clearly, you have a lot of sources. You say you talked to over 200 sources for this book. You have some you could have called and worked.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, that’s the point, is that they were not being honest.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, how did the Wall Street Journal get it in June of 2024? And Jake Tapper and CNN couldn’t find sources for this story then before he dropped out?
SPEAKER 06 :
Annie Linsky and Siobhan Hughes did an amazing job in their reporting. And they should be heralded. And I heralded them. I had them on my show right after the debate to talk about their great reporting.
SPEAKER 09 :
But you did not put them on when they published that story, which was before the debate. Correct.
SPEAKER 06 :
I don’t know what the booking situation was, but it wasn’t because I didn’t want them. I’m sure I said that day, let’s book. I’m sure I said that day, let’s book. Did they?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, you put on a Democrat and you allowed the Democrat to rip on the report as a Rupert Murdoch sponsored hit piece.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, no, no.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s just, that’s what happened.
SPEAKER 06 :
If we’re going to do this, let’s just stick to the facts here, okay? When there is a damaging report.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s what I’ve been doing all along. One of us didn’t miss the biggest story of the century when it comes to presidential politics. And one of us did.
SPEAKER 04 :
Wow. And it got worse. I mean, that went on and on. It’s brutal. I mean, Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jake Tapper was brutal. And he has to say, well, it’s worth it. I’m going to make a lot of money on a book. I wrote a book with Alex Thompson from Axios, and we’re going to get a lot of attention for the book, and we’re going to get a lot of buzz, and we’re going to sell a lot of books, we’re going to make millions. So getting beat up by Megyn Kelly is a small price to pay. I don’t really know how to handle this book. Again, on the one hand, I want nothing to do with it. On the other hand… this could very well be one of the biggest scandals of presidential politics in American history. And it sounds like this book is the tell-all, is the be-all, is the definitive narrative of the dastardly, diabolical, maybe criminal act of hiding Biden’s condition from the American public. Kurt Schlichter over at Town Hall writes, we are under no obligation to forgive or forget the lies about Joe Biden. Kurt writes, what a remarkable coincidence that Biden’s wranglers discovered he had cancer right in the middle of revelations about how he was totally senile and everyone around him, including his very real doctor wife, covered it up. Yeah, right, Kurt says. His puppet masters knew. Stage 4 prostate cancer doesn’t sneak up on you. It’s easy to detect. Kurt said, I know my PSA. Got it tested a couple weeks ago. And incidentally, I had a doctor yesterday who called, and I saw this at Axios this morning. They discourage PSA testing for older men? It’s discouraged? Why would it be discouraged? Don’t you want to know if you’ve got prostate cancer, even if you’re 80? That doesn’t even make any sense. And maybe somebody with some medical knowledge can inform me, because that’s goofy. How about you give the President of the United States every test under the sun? How about you examine him regularly? How about you make sure he’s in good shape and he’s not dying of cancer? Oh, he hasn’t had a PSA test since 2014. What the world are you talking about? So I don’t know how to handle this. Put yourself in my shoes. Call me and tell me what you think we should do about the book. You want to talk? Look, I’m not going to buy it, that’s for sure. I’m not going to contribute one dime of my hard-earned money to Jake Tapper’s wallet. But what’s the right way to handle this? What’s the right thing to do here? 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. The left has lied to us about everything. They lied to us about Benghazi. They lied to us about Russian collusion. They lied to us about parents and school board meetings. They lied to us about pro-life Catholics. They lied to us about COVID. They lied to us about the Hunter Biden laptop. We shouldn’t be surprised that they were lying to us about the mental state of the commander-in-chief.

SPEAKER 04 :
You know what frustrates me about Trump’s big, beautiful bill? And this is something we just have to deal with. There’s a lot of smart people who say a lot of smart things about something as burdensome as our deficit. And I get that not everything, this is not a perfect bill. And you can go down the list. A lot of smart people are sitting on the sidelines, talk show hosts, complaining about will some illegals get Medicaid? Will the Green Deal agenda be benefited? I get it. It’s not perfect. If we lose, we lose everything. You don’t seem to understand. This is not just an exercise for a smart talk show host who likes to sit around and chip away at the Trump agenda. And that’s what they’re doing. They may not intend to do that, but that’s what they’re doing. You’re chipping away and you’re trying to damage what President Trump is trying to get done. And his message is stop it. Stop futzing around. We’re not going to mess with Medicaid. We’re not going to touch Medicaid. We’ve got to keep the tax cuts permanent. And we cannot hand the Democrats a giant victory on a giant silver platter with a big fat red bow tied around it. You can’t do it. Got to do the right thing here. And it’s all red meat people. You know, South Carolina is my home. And I can guarantee you that the people in South Carolina who are weighing in on this are smart and passionate and engaged. Tara in the morning, she’s critical of this bill, and I love her. I think she’s one of the smartest hosts I know. But this is not a time to win a debate contest. and say, look, I’m smarter than Trump. I know better than he does. I want to beat Trump because I’m just trying to lower the deficit. I want to curb spending. You know, I get it. Your heart’s in the right place. You’re going to lose this battle. You’re going to lose this battle. Excuse me, let me clarify. You’re going to lose the war. You’re not going to lose a battle. You’re going to lose the war. In a way, the Chip Roy’s and the Ralph Norman’s of the world and the Tara’s of the world, I believe, have to take the loss on the battle in order to win the war and keep fighting to lower the deficit and keep battling to get spending under control. But Ralph Norman is quoted now, and I love the guy, we’re going to get there when we get there. Okay, but just make sure you get there, Ralph. You’ve got to get there. Because if you trip up, President Trump, if you cause this thing to fail and hand the Democrats this massive win, well, we may not get our country back. You want a tax increase for 68% of Americans? And you can say, well, look what we did. We held strong. We didn’t let any of those illegals get Medicaid. Meanwhile, your taxes are skyrocketing. Businesses are crashing. The economy is wrecked. And you’ve given the Trump-hating universe… An absolute clear path to say we beat Donald Trump. Just listen to what Chuck Schumer and AOC and Bernie and all of them are saying about the big beautiful bill. You want to be on their side? You with them? Knock it off. You got to knock it off. You really do. I’m looking right now at our screen right now. for our big Angel Tree campaign for prison fellowship. 61 kids sponsored, and I’ve got great news that my employer, Salem, is donating $10,000 as a way to offset this whole parking fund mess that I’ve had. And my boss, Dave Centrella, stepped up and said, look, we’ll donate $10,000 to your campaign, Mike. So really, we have, what is that, 111 kids? Amazing. Kristen, this prison fellowship is a Christian ministry that is changing kids’ lives one child at a time. Through no fault of their own, these children are at risk because their mom or dad is in prison. Prisoners’ children are some of the most vulnerable kids in America. And you can help me send deserving kids to the fresh air, the fun, and gospel-centered activities at an Angel Tree summer camp near them. Please go to MikeOnline.com and make a difference in these kids’ lives. I’m praying that you’ll help send as many kids as possible. Our goal is 455 kids. We’ve got a long way to go. You go to MikeOnline.com. Let’s have a big, big pop today. Let’s have a big, big boost. It takes $200, but whatever you can afford. Maybe you want to just $25, $50. If I can get a bunch of people to step up today, maybe we’ll soar past 70 kids on the counter. And remember, we’ve got 50 more coming in. MikeOnline.com. Click on that Prison Fellowship banner at the top of the page, and you will be blessed because you’re going to be doing God’s work. Sending a child to a summer camp The child of a prisoner is a game changer. MikeOnline.com, banners at the top of the page, MikeOnline.com. Speaking of the upstate of South Carolina, home of the great Tara Morning Show, here’s Terry in Spartanburg. Terry, how are you?
SPEAKER 15 :
Hey, Mike, good. I have become like a one-issue voter these last election cycles, and that is the deficit. And I voted for Trump to manage the money better than any Democrat. At least that’s what I thought. So he has to either force these guys to cut the spending… Or to raise taxes, because those are the only two things that are going to affect the deficit. So, let me go back to… Go ahead. You know, you’re going to either have to cut the defense spending, cut Social Security, or cut Medicare. If you’re not going to… If you’re not going to tax more.
SPEAKER 04 :
So let me ask you a question, and I respect your opinion, and you have an opinion like I do, and we’ve all got opinions. You think Trump knows what he’s doing? I don’t know. See, there’s the problem. I don’t know. See, there’s the problem. And I’m not trying to pick on you, but I wonder the same thing of Chip Roy or Ralph Norman. I wonder if they’re losing confidence in President Trump. And, Terry, that’s a mistake. You’ve got to trust this guy. You’ve got to believe in him. And you’re wavering, and you’re letting… Does it bother you that your lack of support for the big, beautiful bill is exactly what the Democrats… That’s where they want you to be. They want you to push back.
SPEAKER 15 :
I don’t care about the politics of it. I don’t care about the Democrats. I don’t care what any Democrat says.
SPEAKER 04 :
You’ve got to care about the politics of it.
SPEAKER 15 :
If, in fact, this is huge deficit spending… Then I don’t want it.
SPEAKER 04 :
And then if you don’t get it, if you don’t get this bill, you better be ready for what you are going to get, Terry, because what you’re going to get is a thousand times worse than what you’re complaining about. See, don’t you get it? I don’t think so. I mean, you’re letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. We get the deficit is out of control. I don’t disagree with you, Terry. You’re so right. But you’ve got to trust this guy. You’ve got to have your faith in a president that you voted for. And the fact that you’re losing faith in him tells me all I need to know. You are. Terry, you are. You’re losing faith. And all of a sudden now, and this is what I’m encouraging you to avoid, the skepticism that is creeping in and is being planted by the Democrats. They desperately need Trump’s big, beautiful bill to fail. That’s the win that they are craving. And you say you don’t care about the politics of it. You better care about the politics of it, because we’ll never win another election. And if we don’t win another election, this country is gone. And we’ve got the midterms around the corner. We’ve got the general election. You want a Democrat-controlled Washington, D.C., then you keep doubting Donald Trump. Sorry, I love you. I’ve heard from you for years. You’re a great guy. You’ve got to stop wavering in your confidence in Donald Trump, or we’re going to pay a heavy price. Thanks, Terry.

SPEAKER 16 :
I’m doing well. Hey, just a little bit of commentary and context around this tax bill. Sure. You know, we’ve got tariffs. Those are raising revenues. And it’s really hard to model what kind of economic benefit America is going to get from that because it’s hard to model. How quickly do we onshore manufacturing? How much business comes back here? How much doesn’t leave because we’ve got those tariffs in place? that’s really hard to model, so it’s hard to determine what’s in the bill, and you don’t get credit for it when they do the modeling on it.
SPEAKER 03 :
Correct.
SPEAKER 16 :
Also, there’s a bill that produced the tax 5% of all money flowing out of America, where somebody comes here to work and they send it off to their family in another country. So there’s billions of dollars that get transferred there, and there’s a 5% tax on that. So there’s other revenue streams outside of just this bill. So I’m a deficit hog just like everybody else is. But you’ve got to look at everything in context. That’s right. And if you’re going to fire up GDP, and that’s what Trump’s doing. His whole agenda is about firing up GDP. And, again, that’s hard to model. You don’t get credit for it in the estimates. But, yeah, we’re all deficit hawks. We all are. We all want more debt. We all know every dollar the government spends is sucking it out of the private sector. But you’ve got to look at everything in context. And these guys that are not looking at that and are scrambling, they’re just grandstandings. They’re intentionally being ignorant of the whole picture to get in front of a camera.
SPEAKER 04 :
And grandstandings suggest that they’re not coming from a genuine place. And I think many of them really share the same concerns that you and I have about deficit spending. I get that. But, look, Trump is not only probably one of the most brilliant businessmen we’ve ever experienced on a national level, but, Dean… He’s surrounded by some of the smartest financial minds in the world. This Scott Besson and the team that Trump has surrounded himself with. Look, if you stop trusting Trump now, we’re in big, big trouble. You know, this is not a time. And if you heard the last caller, he’s like, yeah, I voted for him, but I don’t know if I trust him. No, no, no. This is – because we’re going to hand over – I mean, let’s talk a little bit. And you do this every day, and you’ve done it for me. And look, I love telling everybody about your services with tax and financial planning. Frankly, I wish I’d have met you years ago. You’ve got instincts that are second to none. Like you said, you’ve got to take it in context. You’ve got to take it in the big picture. But we’ve got to take the win now and let them continually work on lowering spending. But now is not the – like Charles Payne said, Dean, don’t pick this hill to die on.
SPEAKER 16 :
Right. And one of the things people don’t get is Trump is a visionary, pure, simple visionary. And visionaries are typically misunderstood, especially by the left. who they think they know everything and the most ignorant people in the room. But he’s a visionary, and you’ve got to sit back and think and take into context what he’s doing and take it to the whole picture. And we’ve got to remember, he’s thinking six or seven times faster than everyone else is. So you’ve got to lean in with positive curiosity and go, okay, this guy hasn’t done us wrong. Everything he’s done has worked. He’s put his heart and soul on the line, and his life in order to do what this country needs, back the man up, you know?
SPEAKER 04 :
Hey, man, and here’s the best part of the day. You can have this guy be your CPA like he’s my CPA. Dean Owen, great hearing from you in Kentucky, sir. Keep fighting the good fight. And obviously, lots of people are turning to Dean for their tax planning and their financial strategies. So that was organic, but it gives me an opportunity to remind you about Dean Owen’s CPA. Call 270-554-0720 if you want to reach Dean’s office and let someone who shares your faith, your values, help you secure the financial future you deserve. Call Dean Owen’s office, 270-554-0720, or go to owencpa.com. owencpa.com. Here’s Kevin in Minneapolis. Hey, Kevin, welcome back. How are you? How are you doing?
SPEAKER 03 :
Good, good. What’s up? Unless this bill is cutting compromise and we’ll get the spending cuts next time. We paid a trillion dollars in interest last year. You can’t survive that.
SPEAKER 04 :
So what do you think is going to happen if this bill collapses because of people who are sick and tired of spending? And we watch this economy tank. We watch tax increases go across the board to about 68% of the American people. We watch inflation soar. We watch this entire economy get shredded. I mean, will you be then coming back and saying, well, kind of wish we’d have gotten Trump’s bill done. I mean, Kevin, you guys got to stop it. You got to knock it off. You’re letting the perfect be the enemy of the good, Kevin. And good got us $36 trillion in debt. You’re right. Deficit spending is terrible. Now what are you going to do about it? What’s your alternative, Kevin?
SPEAKER 03 :
If you’re not cutting the budget, then you’re just going down the same road. Right, and what’s the same? We’re going down the same road for a trillion a year. You can’t keep doing it.
SPEAKER 04 :
We’re going to end up like Rome. So what do you think is going to happen when the budget bill collapses? You think it’s just more of the same? Do you know how much worse it’s going to get for this country, for you and me, for the United? Do you realize how bad it’s going to get? And it’s going to get exactly as bad when nobody wants the dollar. Right. Did you vote for Donald Trump? Yes. Enthusiastically? Yes. Why are you challenging him then? He needs to do what we sent him to do. He’s trying to do what we sent him to do. I don’t care about flying. Get it done. They’re going to get it done, all right. And thankfully, you guys are going to lose. Because the naysayers aren’t going to win this one. You can’t win this, Kevin. First of all, Trump’s got to negotiate. You talk about herding cats. You understand what he’s up against in Washington. You know what he’s got to do to get this done. Why have you stopped trusting him now like the other caller did? Why don’t you believe in him anymore, Kevin? I’ll trust him when he cuts the budget. You’re saying the same thing over and over again like a broken record. You almost sound like you’ve got Tourette’s Syndrome. Why did you stop trusting him? Trust has got nothing to do with it. Show me the actions. Well, he’s trying to show you the actions, and you’re not letting him. Why did you stop believing in him, Kevin? Cut the budget. I don’t care about the consequences. Because not cutting the budget means we’re going to have 700% inflation. We’ll be like Venezuela. Like I said, I’m going to try a fourth time. Why did you stop trusting President Trump? I don’t care about my trust in him. Show me results. There you go. Well, again, he’s trying to deliver you results. You’re repeating yourself over and over again. You stop believing in him, and that’s a mistake. And that’s a big mistake, and you’ll pay for it if we lose. I don’t want you to pay for it, Kevin. I want you to win. I want this economy. Do you remember the Trump economy of 2016? You weren’t bitching then. You weren’t complaining then when unemployment was at historic lows. and people had the biggest massive tax decrease in America’s history, but now you want to turn on him. My gosh, you’re as bad as the Democrats, and it makes me a little bit crazy. Sorry, we’ll have to agree to disagree. Wow. Unbelievable. We just got to pray. We just got to pray that folks like that don’t get their wish. Because I always suspect there’s something else going on, too. Maybe a deeper agenda. But look, it’s difficult. It’s complicated. We’ll keep battling. We got to keep fighting the good fight. Thanks for joining us. Have a great day. Be safe. I’m Mike Gallagher. God bless America.
