Youth On The Air 2025
Hosted by the Denver Radio Club | Sponsored by EARS, Inc.
VFW Post 7945, 10217 Quivas St, Thornton, CO 80260
The fifth annual Youth on the Air (YOTA) Americas Camp is a gathering of 32 licensed amateur radio operators, ages 15 to 25, from 15 U.S. states and 5 countries across North, Central, and South America. This STEM-focused summer camp empowers young hams to grow their technical skills, build friendships, and engage with cutting-edge wireless technologies.
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity awaits as selected campers will use amateur radio to talk with astronaut Nichole Ayers (KJ5GWI) aboard the International Space Station! This special event takes place Thursday, June 19 at 11:25 AM MDT and will be livestreamed via the Youth on the Air YouTube channel.
Youth on the Air Camp is operated by Electronic Applications Radio Service, Inc. (EARS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to wireless technologies. The event is modeled after popular European and African YOTA camps.
