In this thought-provoking episode of Rush to Reason, host John Rush, along with his guests, sheds light on the critical missteps of the Colorado GOP. The discussion delves into the party’s failure to understand the varied political landscape of Colorado, emphasizing the need to adapt their candidate strategies to fit different districts. The conversation also traverses the realm of automotive marketing failures, drawing parallels between political and corporate blunders that arise from ignoring market demands.
SPEAKER 07 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 05 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 07 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 14 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference!
SPEAKER 11 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 04 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind? It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by High Five Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 03 :
All right, we are back. Hour number two, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Myself, Andy Pate, Charlie Grimes. We left that last hour talking about our own Colorado GOP and the fact that they really don’t, and I mean this sincerely, they really don’t understand the market in Colorado. In other words, they don’t understand what type of candidates we really need to run in certain areas. And by the way, it varies. This is where I think… they really do get it wrong because you may have one area, Andy, where you could run a really, really strong, hardcore, quote-unquote principled Republican and be just fine in that district and you could win all day long with no problem. In fact, that’s exactly what you need in that district to win because a moderate may very well lose in that particular arena. And I understand that. On the same token, we’ve got some districts where, you know, as much as it pains to say this – You may have to run a little bit more, quote unquote, squishy middle of the road. You know, and I know this is what they would call them, you know, rhino ish type Republican, because you’re probably not going to win in that particular area with that hardcore conservative. I just mentioned on the same token at the end of the day, if I can get personally, if I can get that middle of the road conservative. to at least go down to either Washington or go down to the Capitol building here in Colorado or to D.C. and at least, Andy, vote 8 out of 10 times with me in that particular area, I’ll take that. Oh, it’s fantastic. That’s a win for me.
SPEAKER 08 :
The Democrats going to vote 10 out of 10 against you.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. If I can get eight out of 10 with me, I’m OK with that.
SPEAKER 08 :
And by the way, it doesn’t matter if it’s a quote unquote moderate Democrat. They’ll still vote 10 out of 10 because they’re moderate Democrats.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. There are no moderate Democrats. And by the way, before you know, the mansions of the world are still going to at least nine out of 10 times. They’re going to they’re going to vote Democrat. Right. That one out of 10 that they may vote for something on our side. But that’s it.
SPEAKER 08 :
And they’re rare that they’re that good.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s very rare.
SPEAKER 08 :
And I know you’ve got a great analogy coming up here in a moment. But before you get to that, I really think we also make the mistake the other way. Sometimes when we have a deep red state or district, we’ll put forth somebody who is too moderate, where we could have gotten somebody much better. Let me give a perfect example. Liz Cheney in Wyoming. Mitt Romney in Utah. In both of those places, we could have put forth really good MAGA, wonderful MAGA kind of people who would advance a great agenda for America, America first, and they blew it. And I look at both Utah and Wyoming and I say, guys, get it right. Now, Wyoming did, by the way. So that’s good. Okay, go ahead. You got a great analogy.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, no. By the way, what you just said is absolutely correct. So this, again, comes back to knowing your market and what’s going on in those particular districts in that state as to what’s it going to take to actually win. that Andy and I are talking about, it’s readily available to those at the state GOP level. It’s at their fingertips. Literally, we as a party pay for that data, for that information on an annual basis. And Andy, it’s at their fingertips.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, they know what the market looks like in each district.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 03 :
I mean, guys, they have marketing data. And I’m not exaggerating when I say this. we have marketing data at the state level that most small businesses would yearn to get their hands on in their particular area when it comes to marketing to their customers because most small businesses don’t have access to that kind of information because it costs a lot of money most small businesses don’t know how their clientele votes per se on their product
SPEAKER 08 :
In other words, Wendy’s doesn’t know exactly what people want in a burger versus McDonald’s and versus Burger King. We literally know the voting trends of everybody in our district.
SPEAKER 03 :
So let me give you an example of a… Car company, because I talked about this before I went on vacation right before Thanksgiving. It became really, really big over Thanksgiving. And I think we were probably one of the first shows to even talk about how bad they screwed up, mainly because I’m a car guy. And I took one look at the new Jaguar ad that came out and decimated it the day before I went on vacation.
SPEAKER 08 :
You knew that was going to be a massive loser. Absolutely awful. What did Jaguar say to their market?
SPEAKER 03 :
We don’t care about you. All we care about is us, and we feel like we know better about what we should do with the car company than you as the customer should know.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. I want to sell my agenda, not a car.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s right. I’m selling. I’m going to push my LGBTQ trans nonsense. I’m going to let my freak flag fly. I’m going to put that out there and build a car company around that and hope that you as, or by the way, I’m going to demand that you as a customer buy my car.
SPEAKER 08 :
John, how many customers can drive an agenda?
SPEAKER 03 :
Zero.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, they drive a car.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, and by the way, I predicted this, and it’s coming true, and it’s getting worse, by the way, with Jaguar. They just keep stumbling more and more as they go along here. Reality is this will be a death nail for them unless they reverse this.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, they are stubborn.
SPEAKER 03 :
This will not sell.
SPEAKER 08 :
They do not. Here’s the thing, and you and I have often talked about this. Then we can go to John. We’ve often talked, John, about people not wanting to admit they’ve made a mistake. In business, that’s a killer. Yeah.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s a killer in politics. It’s a killer, period. Yeah. When you screw up, admit it, and then move on. Yes. Jaguar’s not going to do it. The caller to GOP’s not going to do it. Not with the leadership we have right now. John and Cheyenne, go ahead.
SPEAKER 06 :
Hey, I got to call Andy out. You are wrong on Liz Cheney as a voter. When she voted, 97% of the time, it was with the conservative agenda… Even through her last two years.
SPEAKER 03 :
You know, really quick, John, I’ll defend Andy because he didn’t say anything about her on that. What he said was when you go to replace her in Wyoming, you can replace her with even somebody more red than she was. Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
And also here was the big problem, John, with her was never her voting record.
SPEAKER 03 :
It was how she how she viewed Trump.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, and it’s… The big problem with… Well, really quick here, John. The big problem with Liz Cheney, and I have often said, folks, her voting record is much better than you people are saying. Right. Okay, all you people who say… Excuse me, all you people who say, Rhino, Rhino, Rhino, she’s evil, evil, evil. You guys don’t seem to understand. She’s the worst in our party, and she votes over 95% with us on the MAGA agenda.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
And I’ve often said that. The problem is she let her emotions take over when it came to Trump.
SPEAKER 03 :
Stirred the pot too much.
SPEAKER 08 :
And in her treatment of J6.
SPEAKER 03 :
Dumb.
SPEAKER 08 :
She just flat out bought into every idiotic conspiracy theory the left was putting out. And ruined her political career in the process. Right. We could do much better than that, and you guys did. You got rid of her. You got somebody better.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, that’s because personally, she let personal animus come in. She despised Donald Trump. From when I met her before she was originally elected in 2016… When it was primary time, and I was a cruise fan in 2016, but I asked her, I said, what do you think about Donald Trump winning all these primaries? And she was like, oh, we can have him. We can do better. That was her whole philosophy from all the way back in early 16. Yeah, it was. She never got elected.
SPEAKER 08 :
It was personal early on, and she never let it go.
SPEAKER 06 :
And the reason why is Trump came out and attacked her father first. for what senior Cheney did during the Bush administration. Right. And she didn’t like that, and she took it personally. And in politics, politics is worse than being in the mob. You can’t take it personal. It’s just business, to quote Michael Corleone. But she took it personal, and it cost her. Her career. She had a shot at,
SPEAKER 03 :
a senate seat maybe the governorship in wyoming oh yeah she screwed up i mean literally john that’s an example and this her arrow was pointed straight up yeah then this is what happens to individuals in those arenas this is what’s happening inside of the colorada gop right now these people get so fixated on something that they’ll give up their entire career over it and now dumb you know
SPEAKER 06 :
All she does now is go on and badmouth Trump on CNN because that’s all she can do. That’s about all she’s got left.
SPEAKER 08 :
And she’s gone beyond that. I mean, she’s been campaigning. She was campaigning for numerous Democrats against numerous Republicans in 24. It was terrible.
SPEAKER 03 :
I hate to say this. Her only future is to switch sides and go to the Democrat side. But even then, it’ll be choppy at best because she’s still affiliated with her dad. Even the left doesn’t like that. She has no future. She’s done.
SPEAKER 06 :
She’s screwed up. You know, she left Wyoming. Her and her whole family. went back to Virginia. The only reason she came out here was she knew she had no shot of winning in Virginia at that point, and she wanted to be in politics. So she came out here. Wyoming kind of accepted her because her father was a congressman from here before he moved up to all his other offices. And for the first four years, she did what we asked her to. She voted conservative with the party. J6 came around, and she just lost her mind.
SPEAKER 08 :
She lost her mind. And you know, John, really quick here. So often, these types like her and Romney will say… Yeah, but you’re saying that if we want to stay active in the Republican Party, we have to become a bunch of trumpets, okay? We have to just mimic everything Trump says and kiss the ring constantly. And it’s like, no, guys, all we’re asking for you to be is reasonable. I mean, you’re putting out these crazy theories on Trump that are ludicrous. He had nothing to do with inciting any kind of violence on J6, and you know it. You’re lying.
SPEAKER 03 :
It really wasn’t much violence anyway, so that’s a whole other conversation.
SPEAKER 06 :
Agreed. And what’s going to be interesting is when they, Justice and everything, start investigating the J6 committee and some of the things they did, which were kind of a little illegal. That’s going to be interesting when she has to go back and testify now as a civilian. Why did you do this, that, and the other thing? Some of it’s conspiracy theory, but some of it she did. Pam Bondi would eat her alive on the stand. Oh, that’s going to be a little bit interesting. And so not changing the subject, but you brought her up. Does she get confirmed, Andy? Pam Bondi?
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, easily.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s amazing. That’s one of the easier ones, I think.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, there are still a couple that I think are going to be difficult, but Pam Bondi, no, my goodness, no.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, so I think that should have been his first choice all along. Agreed. But maybe Gates was good because it brought out who in the Republican Party might fight against his nominees.
SPEAKER 08 :
I think he knew that anyway, John. I don’t think he had to put that out there to find where the bad eggs are. I think he knows which people are totally with him and which ones aren’t. He knows what Murkowski is.
SPEAKER 06 :
Everybody knows what she is. And how is she going to get beat? Because Alaska kept ranked choice voting. That made me mad. How did she get beat?
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. I don’t know.
SPEAKER 06 :
You guys have a great day, guys.

SPEAKER 17 :
The day after Thanksgiving is the busiest plumbing day of the year. Don’t let your home get stopped up. Just call High Five. During the holidays, your plumbing works overtime. Visitors and guests, big meals, we don’t need to tell you. And when your main line gets clogged, your floor and sink drains can back up, causing flooding. And even if it hasn’t gotten to the point of backing up yet, you still have a big problem that gets bigger every day. It’s recommended that you have a plumbing inspection early, and an inspection from High Five can be scheduled as soon as the same day. For a limited time, they’ll give you an additional $35 off a drain cleaning just for being a KLZ listener. So find out more about what High Five Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, and Cooling can do for you this holiday season by clicking their link on the klzradio.com advertisers page.
SPEAKER 04 :
Putting reason into your afternoon drive. This is John Rush.
SPEAKER 03 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, really quick, just to recap. How is the Colorado GOP just like Jaguar? Because remember, it’s Jaguar. I get it. But we Americans call it Jaguar. At the end of the day, Jaguar thinks that it knows what’s best for its customers and is pushing an agenda on them that, frankly, Jaguar customers especially do not want. They want fast cars, exhilarating. They want the car to look sexy. You know, they want all these different things. That’s what the brand has been about up until this time. And they have literally botched it, ruined it because they’re not looking at their market. In fact, they’re in denial of what the market is to the point that Jaguar is saying that our future will be based on all EVs. Well, we already know. I can tell you as a car guy where that’s going. And once Trump gets inaugurated and takes away some of the not only the mandates, but some of the incentives when it comes to EVs, Jaguar, I predict, will be destroyed. Dead. They’re already a very low production car company in the first place. They are, by the way, owned by Tata Motors, which is an Indian company who the leader, by the way, just passed away. When was that, Charlie? Two months or two months or so ago. I want to say that Mr. Tata himself passed away. And it’s interesting. You now see Jaguar doing this once he passed away. Point being, they are in total denial. of what their marketplace is like and what people really want in cars, just like the Colorado GOP is in total denial of what wins elections in Colorado.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, and John, for those out there who are thinking, John Rush is wrong. The Colorado GOP, they don’t hate the market. They don’t ignore the market. They love the market. Let me look at what are the number one and two and three things that the Colorado GOP has been stressing. Number one. The 2020 steal. Right. Okay. Every single one of their candidates that they pushed was somebody who one of their main themes is we got robbed in 2020. Okay. Does the general market. Yeah, you and I do believe there were a lot of shenanigans in 2020. But forget us. We’re already. You had us at a low.
SPEAKER 03 :
We’re bought in.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, you had us at a low. Does the general market in Colorado want to hear about the 2020 steal?
SPEAKER 03 :
Andy, the entire United States of America, it was proven with Lake in Arizona. Reality is the entire country doesn’t want to hear about it. It is the worst. It’s not just Colorado. It’s the entire country.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. I don’t care how much you agree with that, well, we got robbed in 2020. You can agree with that. I believe we very possibly did get robbed in 2020. It doesn’t matter. The general market absolutely looks at that and says that is your worst issue, period. Okay, number two. The Colorado GOP is on a holy crusade against open primaries. Okay. Does the general electorate in Colorado agree with them and want them to do that?
SPEAKER 03 :
Since they voted them in, the answer is pretty easy. No.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. And I guarantee you a good majority of Republicans voted against it just like you and I did, which means that the general market, the center, the unaffiliated must have voted overwhelmingly in favor of it. So once again, are you being like Jaguar? Yes, you are. Okay.
SPEAKER 03 :
You’re trying to force something on your customer that they don’t want.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. Next, Dave Williams put out God Hates Flags.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
Which, by the way, had he been our candidate in CD5… Oh, they would have roasted him over that one. There would have been ads everywhere about God Hates Flags.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, because… Obviously.
SPEAKER 03 :
And they would have actually done it in a way to where they would have taken the L out because that’s really what Dave meant.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, they would have done a neato ad where you simply have the L. Removed slowly. Yeah.
SPEAKER 03 :
Dissolving.
SPEAKER 08 :
Dissolving.
SPEAKER 03 :
This is what Dave Williams and CD5 really thinks.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. This is a thinly veiled slur. That’s what they would have said. That’s right. And now.
SPEAKER 03 :
And by the way, they’re not incorrect. No.
SPEAKER 08 :
They’re not incorrect. That is exactly how he meant it. So let me ask you, John, the general market, not us, the peeps on the hard right. I’m talking the general market in Colorado. Is that how they feel about LGBTQ? No.
SPEAKER 03 :
No.
SPEAKER 08 :
They look at it and say, hey, man, we don’t want you men competing in women’s sports.
SPEAKER 03 :
They agree with us on that. How about one step further for a lot of you hardcore Republican Christians that are on Dave’s side? Even God doesn’t look at it that way.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, live your life. You make your choices.
SPEAKER 03 :
God would say, you know what, hate the sin, but I love the sinner. So no, he wouldn’t even say that.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right.
SPEAKER 03 :
He wouldn’t say he hates flags with the L removed.
SPEAKER 08 :
John, when did Jesus and the apostles ever try to force non-Christians to live like Christians?
SPEAKER 03 :
Never.
SPEAKER 08 :
When did Jesus and the apostles ever use the power of secular government to try to make non-Christians live like Christians?
SPEAKER 03 :
Never. Never. Didn’t happen, Andy.
SPEAKER 08 :
Case closed.
SPEAKER 03 :
Because it doesn’t work that way.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. Look, what we’re seeing is this. The Colorado GOP is Jaguar. They’re looking at the market and saying, we don’t care what the market thinks.
SPEAKER 03 :
By the way, going back to the newsletter, so I didn’t get a chance to do this in the last hour, to prove Andy’s point even further, that they really don’t understand the market in Colorado and who they’re even speaking to. The Thanksgiving… Wish, I guess you could say, the happy Thanksgiving that came out of the Colorado GOP. And not that I’m against Bible verses. I love the Bible. I love Scripture. I’m a Christian. All of that. You guys all know that. Would I have put two Scripture verses in that newsletter going out to all Republicans on the mailing list in the Colorado GOP? I would not have for the very reasons Andy just stated a few moments ago.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, the Republican Party is not a church.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, it is not. Dave is not the pastor of the church.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, I will say this. The Republican Party is the only major party in America where Christians… Feel welcome. Yeah, are welcome. That’s right. Because the Democrats will say, oh, you can come over here. Yeah, only if we completely modify our faith dramatically.
SPEAKER 03 :
Correct.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, that’s the only way you’re going to let us in. Otherwise, you beat us, you hound us, and… You know, if possible, you remove us. Okay. Look, the only place where we are welcome is the Republican Party, but that doesn’t mean we are welcome at the exclusion of others.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, and again, folks, you’re talking about the Colorado GOP. This is a political party where we’re doing our best to get certain politicians elected and move the football forward on our side of the aisle. Knowing all of that, that we need as many people on our side of the aisle as possible. And I’m not one to get squishy when it comes to the Word of God, to Scripture, anything along those lines. But what I’m saying is, We’re also not the GOP. We’re not a church. We’re not a church organization. Dave is not the pastor. And no, it’s not okay to put Bible verses in the newsletter going out for Thanksgiving. I’m sorry, folks. That crosses the line.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. And John. That’s only talking about how it looks to Republicans. Let’s get back to the market. Let’s get back to Jaguar, okay? How does that sell outside our party? How does that sell to the general market? It doesn’t. Once again, there’s a fourth thing now. And we can go on to a fifth, a sixth, a seventh. We could easily bring more. We won’t do it. It won’t take the time. Bottom line is this. Our party in Colorado right now is run by a group that doesn’t care at all about the market we have to win to win elections. They do not. And this is why open primaries had to save us from the people they endorsed in our primary. Open primaries had to save us from them wrecking not only our wins here, but the U.S. House. We would have lost the U.S. House of Representatives if our state party had gotten its way. Wow.
SPEAKER 03 :
Think about that. And yet you’ll see newsletters and communication pieces coming out of the Colorado GOP really congratulating themselves on how well things have gone in Colorado in regards to our elections and the outcome of, even though in a lot of cases the wins had actually not only did not have anything to do with them, it was in spite of them.
SPEAKER 08 :
Actually, yeah, and Dick Wadhams, who we at times disagree with.
SPEAKER 03 :
I don’t like him at all.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, I think he fixates on, I think he’s not as far as Cheney fixating on Trump.
SPEAKER 03 :
I haven’t been a Dick Wadhams fan in decades.
SPEAKER 08 :
But he put out this.
SPEAKER 03 :
Sorry, Dick, but I’m just not a fan.
SPEAKER 08 :
He’s a squish. Well, here’s his article. Colorado Republicans won key races despite their state party. And all I’m going to say about this article is this. It is full of truth, and it’s full of numbers, and it talks about where the money came from, where the money went, and how they campaigned against their own candidates and how they helped their candidates. Not at all. They didn’t spend a dime on these candidates.
SPEAKER 03 :
Sounds like he listens to our show.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I got to be honest, because a lot of times, you know, you and I will disagree with Dick. We’ll say, no, no, you’re going way too far. Come on. You know, this hate Trump stuff. Drop it. Come on, man. Move on. But you would think reading this article that he was listening to our show because, my goodness, and he’s spot on. And he shows how our candidates had to win not just against the Democrats, but against their own party.
SPEAKER 03 :
Should never be that way, folks, and that’s why we need change in leadership. Whether that happens this next spring, I honestly don’t know. I highly, highly doubt we’ll see any change unless some of you that are on the committee and can get in there and be vocal enough to make some change, which I encourage each one of you to try to do. Unless some of you are very vocal and get that done, you’re going to be stuck with Dave two more years because Dave’s not giving up his cush 200K a year salary, by the way.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. And you’ve got to keep in mind, it’s Dave Loyalists who run the SEC for the most part.
SPEAKER 03 :
By the way, that’s more money than what the congressmen, some of you, or congresswomen, some of you elected to go out and represent you in Washington, D.C., make on an annual basis. Right. Just so you know, $200K a year, it’s not chump change by any stretch of the imagination.
SPEAKER 08 :
John, one last question for you. Can you imagine going into the 26th election, which is so crucial? We’ve got governor. We’ve got senator. Can you imagine having that in charge of our party?
SPEAKER 03 :
No, because it will be a dismal failure.
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, my goodness.
SPEAKER 03 :

SPEAKER 04 :
Now, back to Rush to Reason. Presented by Hi-5 Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. Where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 03 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. All right, Hunter Biden’s pardon. We’ll move into that. Experts note that the pardon was unusually broad, covering any offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1st, 2014, key date, by the way, through December 1st, 2024. In other words, Hunter Biden cannot be prosecuted for any federal crime he may have committed or Over more than a decade.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. 11 years almost. And that’s because why? That’s when he went to work for Burisma. Right. Correct. And what country is that in? Help me out here. Well, that’s Ukraine. Ukraine. What do you know?
SPEAKER 03 :
Same one. We’re going to funnel another $750 million to.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. Let me tell you something. The impeachment of Donald Trump that occurred, remember, what did it occur about? Based on this. Yes. It was based on Donald Trump in a phone call, which I think was perfectly fine, calling on Ukraine and basically saying this.
SPEAKER 03 :
Basically cleaning himself up.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, saying clean up your act and investigate this because it looks like there is corruption going on.
SPEAKER 03 :
And yes. Looks like you’re making payola to the Biden family is basically what he said. Right. In a not so direct way.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right, and everybody on the left is saying, oh, you’re targeting Biden, you’re targeting your political opponent. No, no, you guys don’t seem to understand. My political opponent literally is mixed up with corrupt forces in Ukraine. This is going on. This is actually happening. Now, he got impeached for that, which was ludicrous. Wouldn’t you say that what Biden just did proves Trump was right?
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, in fact, I think you should go back to the House and say, guys, reverse what you guys did several years ago.
SPEAKER 08 :
Can you unimpeach someone? I don’t even know if you can, but I’ll tell you what. If there’s any way to unimpeach somebody, they need to do it right now, John.
SPEAKER 03 :
And before you guys start texting me, I get it. He wasn’t technically fully impeached. The House did. The Senate did not. I fully understand that. But the House voted to impeach him.
SPEAKER 08 :
But they voted to impeach him based on the idea that he was simply targeting Joe because he’s his political opponent. Now Joe has come and look what Joe Biden just did, John, was the equivalent of what Hillary did when she deleted 33,000 emails, used bleach bit on hard drives and smashed cell phones. This is a complete cover up. What he did was wipe clean any investigation of their dealings in Ukraine. And their dealings overseas, completely. What he did was prove Donald Trump was right to be concerned.
SPEAKER 03 :
You just gave a broad brushstroke to your son, basically saying, I’m going to absolve him from any crimes he’s committed for a decade.
SPEAKER 08 :
And what he did during that decade was raise money for the family selling Joe’s influence.
SPEAKER 03 :
So, in other words, I probably should reward my son. I did. I just pardoned him.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. Hunter Biden is now a multi, multi, multimillionaire who is, look, Americans who are listening right now, This family, Hunter Biden, sold access to your president overseas. And by the way, clearly we could see the results of that. Your president was owned by China. Your president was owned by Russia. Your president was owned by Ukraine. Your president was owned by other forces overseas. They owned him. They bought him through the family. And that is why he was always America last in his policies overseas. Right. What did he do with trade deals that Trump did that would help us?
SPEAKER 03 :
Unwound them.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, he unwound them.
SPEAKER 03 :
Or he didn’t enforce them. The very first day he gets inaugurated, the first thing he does is kill the Keystone Pipeline, pushes oil up the very next day, giving Russia all sorts of money that enables them to invade Ukraine. Which, by the way, has now lined the pockets of the Biden family again, because who knows how many kickbacks have come through that channel.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right.
SPEAKER 03 :
We don’t know.
SPEAKER 08 :
What about when he pushes forth the Green New Deal and suffocates drilling here in America? What does that do? Raises oil. Well, yeah, it raises oil. That makes America more and more and more dependent on who? China. Because they own all the rights to the rare earth minerals that are needed for all those batteries, folks. Everything he did was America last. Why did he do that? Because he was owned by everyone but America. And Trump wanted this investigated. Now, with this pardon, that has been totally wiped clean. There’s no way you can investigate all that. Why? Because who was the bag man for the family? It was Hunter.
SPEAKER 03 :
Who’s already been pardoned.
SPEAKER 08 :
And Joe will probably pardon his brother, too.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah. Wouldn’t because, again, you can do it. We talked about this yesterday. You can do a preemptive pardon, meaning that even if he were to be tried on anything, he’s still pardoned.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. And I think he’ll do something along those lines.
SPEAKER 03 :
Which means that, you know, hey, Jim, here’s a little token before I leave office. Yeah. It’s also folks. Why? For years now. And a lot of you didn’t believe me. I have arguments with a lot of you as listeners. You know, nice, friendly arguments, of course. But it’s why I’ve been saying for quite some time that the Biden empire. is even larger than the obama empire oh yeah folks don’t believe that but the biden empire is huge it’s powerful he’s been there for 50 plus years uh jill now still holds the cards even though joe is you know pretty much incapacitated she holds the cards and the reality is it’s why i’ve also said because a lot of folks said oh you know they’re just going to do this and kamala’s going to step in as president before things are out just so they can say she was president uh yeah no that ain’t happening no the bidens are not giving up the white house before donald trump arrives
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, too many people measure empire by political influence. Obviously, if you’re talking political influence, well, Obama is obviously much larger than Biden. If you’re talking about their empire, the criminal empire of the Bidens. The power. Oh, the Obamas don’t begin to touch that.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, not even close. This is international. Yeah, Biden has way more power than what Obama’s got in that regard.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, and who has been the head of the Biden crime family now for the last couple years?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, Hunter has been. Well, he’s the bag man. Probably Jill and Jim.
SPEAKER 08 :
I would say so, yes. Jill is a crime lord.
SPEAKER 03 :
Not Joe, but those two.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, Jill is a crime lord. She’s a crime lord. This is a criminal.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, she parades him around mainly just so they can stay in office.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s all. Literally, she’s just parading him around. Which, by the way, all of you on the left, are you proud of that?
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, are you proud of that?
SPEAKER 03 :
Those of you that are lefties that are listening to me, are you proud of that? Does that make your day? Dr. Crime Lord. Thank you, Charlie. Dr. Crime Lord.
SPEAKER 08 :
Look, we’re talking about a woman who had her drug addict son sent overseas. to peddle the influence of her husband when she knew that her drug addict son was going to be with criminal elites overseas where there were drugs and women galore. And there were. That’s the cesspool that she sent her son into. And this is why a lot of people who want to just look at, you know, Hunter Biden as the bad guy and, oh boy, you just got this sweet deal. Wouldn’t you do that for your son? Yeah, wouldn’t you do that for your son? Folks… I’m going to defend Hunter in one regard. He was only doing what his family wanted.
SPEAKER 03 :
That is a good point, Andy.
SPEAKER 08 :
Everything Hunter Biden did.
SPEAKER 03 :
He was only doing what he was told.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes. Hunter Biden didn’t do any crimes just for Hunter Biden. He did them for the family.
SPEAKER 03 :
The family. Yeah. Now, he’s part of the family. He wrenched himself. I cannot disagree with you on that one at all. So if you’re going to feel sorry for Hunter in a way, I guess you could knowing that in a way he was just doing what the family expected of him to do.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right.
SPEAKER 03 :
This is why they had to pardon him. He was a scapegoat. And by they, I mean… The family had to pardon him.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 03 :
Joe was just a tool of the family. Joe didn’t write the pardon, by the way. Joe did.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, gosh, no.
SPEAKER 03 :
Joe just signed it. Yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
Joe scribbled and scrawled his name.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah. He’s not even fit to even probably sign things at this point, but he did anyway.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, there’s no way the family could have their bag man go to prison, rotting away in prison, when he has no loyalty to them beyond the money and the drugs he gets. He would churn on them, most likely, in prison.
SPEAKER 03 :
Probably. I will say one other thing, too, that might shock some of you. And I don’t think I’m wrong in saying this. I would venture to guess, if I could sit down with Jill and Joe just for a few minutes and have a small conversation… that there is more love for Donald Trump from those two than there is Kamala Harris.
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, yes.
SPEAKER 03 :
In other words, they would rather turn the keys to the White House over to Donald Trump than they ever would Kamala Harris.
SPEAKER 08 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 03 :
Especially with what happened this summer. I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe himself didn’t vote for Donald Trump.
SPEAKER 08 :
Wouldn’t surprise me at all.
SPEAKER 03 :
I’ll just go as far as to say that. Would not shock me if he did. Let me ask you this.
SPEAKER 08 :
Do Joe and Jill Biden love their son Hunter like other parents love their kids? When you look at what they did with Hunter. No. Because this idea, well, they love their son, he’s pardoning his son, the love of a son.
SPEAKER 03 :
No.
SPEAKER 08 :
What, are you kidding me?
SPEAKER 03 :
No. No. And Jill has no love for him at all. He’s a tool for her, that’s all. He’s literally just a tool. Yeah. He’s the stepson tool. This is not a mom, man. No, she’s not a mom to him.
SPEAKER 08 :
At least, I mean, literally she’s a mom, but you know what I mean.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, well, she’s not to him. She’s not his real mom. Even if she was. So, no, she doesn’t treat him like a regular mom would treat their son.
SPEAKER 05 :
No.
SPEAKER 03 :
Not even close to it.
SPEAKER 05 :
No.
SPEAKER 03 :

SPEAKER 07 :
Listen online, klzradio.com. Back to Rush to Reason. And welcome back to Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 08 :
John Rush, together with Andy Page. John, quick question here. As you know, there’s a massive deportation effort that is coming, but you have a number of Democrat governors and mayors. I want to look more at the governors. Governors who are saying they’re going to resist this. Is that smart or stupid politically? Very dumb. Explain why.
SPEAKER 03 :
Very dumb because the populace, even the popular vote, which… Those of you on the left, let’s not forget that not only did Donald Trump win the electoral college vote, he won the popular vote as well, which a lot of folks didn’t think would even be possible, meaning that a lot of the things you guys are pushing, open borders, et cetera, we went through a lot of that even prior to the elections. I’m not going to go back through it right now. But the reality is the voters spoke. overwhelmingly and said, no, we do not want this. And yet you’ve got knucklehead mayors and governors running around saying that we’re going to resist any type of deportation measure that comes along from the federal government.
SPEAKER 08 :
Is this especially damaging for someone like Jared Polis? And the reason I ask this, John, because Jared Polis has been running for president now for a year or two.
SPEAKER 03 :
You can really tell. And will be now the next two years.
SPEAKER 08 :
He’s been gravitating toward the center on all kinds of things. And on this… He is speaking as a blue state governor playing to his blue state peeps, and that’s not thinking outside our state.
SPEAKER 03 :
No. No. I don’t even know if that particular topic in the state is as blue as people think. I still think there’s a lot of people in this state that are sick and tired. Even Denver, the city of Denver, the constituents there, they are sick and tired of watching that mayor spend millions upon millions upon millions of dollars on illegals when they’re having a hard time going to the grocery store.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, and you’ve got to keep in mind, Tom Holman, he’s going to first focus on all the dangerous illegals, right?
SPEAKER 03 :
Which is the way it needs to be done.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, but on removing dangerous illegals, Americans are 70-30 in favor of that. Absolutely.
SPEAKER 03 :
I don’t think that’s any different here in Colorado.
SPEAKER 08 :
In Colorado, well, I don’t think it’s 70-30, but it’s still probably over 50.
SPEAKER 03 :
Oh, yeah, it’ll be the majority.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so here’s what’s actually going to happen. Tom Holman, he’s going to come in with his troops, you know, and he is going to start removing them. I just don’t see how getting in his way or in any way, shape or form being against that is going to help this governor. In fact, this governor could be hurt on that in 2026.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, he doesn’t run— No, I’m sorry, but his successor. Yes, I agree with that. His party. The party could very easily be hurt because of what Jared Polis does now in 2026.
SPEAKER 08 :
Exactly, because isn’t their candidate for governor, isn’t this person going to be asked, hey, do you agree with this?
SPEAKER 03 :
Which, by the way, could very easily be somebody like a, which I’ll talk about Hancock in a little bit, could be a Mayor Hancock, could be a Mike Johnston. It could be either one of those types of individuals that actually come in and try to replace Jared Polis. And what’s happening right now with Mike as the city of Denver mayor, his chances of doing, even right now, even with some of the things he’s already said and backtracked on, he’s done. That ain’t going to happen. He’s done.
SPEAKER 08 :
I don’t think he’s their candidate.
SPEAKER 03 :
Now he’s not. He’s done.
SPEAKER 08 :
I think they’re insane if they run someone like him.
SPEAKER 03 :
He’s done. Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER 08 :
Here’s the thing.
SPEAKER 03 :
He’s another one that just killed his political career doing what he did.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. Here’s the thing. This is a deep blue state. They can run almost anyone and win. It’s like us running Boebert in fourth.
SPEAKER 03 :
Until you go this direction.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. And so what I’m saying is.
SPEAKER 03 :
Everybody has a limit, Andy.
SPEAKER 08 :
If they get that crazy on this. I mean, keep in mind the Democrats lost Virginia. Could it happen here if they have somebody who actually opposes what Tom Holman is doing?
SPEAKER 03 :
That hurts them. Oh, I think it hurts them really bad. And I’m sorry, I don’t have this in front of me. What did Mike Johnston spend? $356 million. $356 million on illegal immigrants, which the city of Denver, the citizens there have to be looking at that thinking, what in the world are we doing and why did we ever elect this guy? What a total moron.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, and more importantly, look at everywhere they had to cut to get the money.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yep. And then he’s a guy saying, I’m willing to go to jail over this. What an idiot.
SPEAKER 08 :
So you mean I got less of this, less of this, less of this, less of this. These roads here didn’t get fixed, whatever. I got less of this stuff so you could give the money to them?
SPEAKER 03 :
Who are here illegally. And again, the crime, the other things that have happened along those lines. His constituents are not going to be happy.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. We can afford fewer cops. We can afford less of all kinds of things because of this. Dumb. That don’t sell. That doesn’t even sell. I mean, it sells on the hard left, but that’s it, John.
SPEAKER 03 :
Even there’s a threshold there at some point.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I come from the hard left. Trust me, there’s almost no threshold. But they don’t care.
SPEAKER 03 :
Everybody has a pain. Anything.
SPEAKER 08 :
Look, do I believe that, you know, I don’t like talking too much about my family. But my family throughout the state of Colorado, do I believe that they would vote for that? Yes. For giving money to illegals and taking it from Americans. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do more. Double it. They don’t care. By the way, may I take a moment? Yeah. I want to wish my father, Ken Pate. Happy birthday, Ken. Happy birthday.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes, happy birthday. Awesome.
SPEAKER 08 :
He is 90 years old today.
SPEAKER 03 :
That is awesome. Congratulations.
SPEAKER 08 :
Dad still takes long walks with his dog. Congratulations. And I want to say one other thing here. You know, we pick on the left all the time, but my father, as Democrats go, but as people go, has the highest character of any man I’ve ever met.
SPEAKER 03 :
Awesome. Well, congratulations, Ken. Happy birthday. He’s fantastic. That’s awesome. That means a lot. So enjoy your day and celebrate and have fun and congratulations. So that’s very meaningful.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 03 :
Happy birthday, Dad.
SPEAKER 08 :
And let me tell you something. If the Democrats had more of him, we’d never win.
SPEAKER 03 :
Let’s hope they don’t.
SPEAKER 08 :
I know.
SPEAKER 03 :
Because this last go-around, they didn’t do so well. No, they did not. And because they held true to it, which we can talk about this maybe in the last hour, have they learned anything from this last election? And believe me, the guys at the top, the folks at the top, they’ll learn from this, and they’ll come back and they’ll do some things differently. But all in all, have they learned?
SPEAKER 08 :
I believe some have, John.
SPEAKER 03 :
I believe some have. We’ll talk about that next hour. Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning is next, folks. Again, furnace problems, we’ve got a solution. That’s Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning. Find them at klzradio.com.

This isn’t rage radio. This is real, relatable radio. Back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 03 :
All right, we are back, about done with hour number two. Got another full hour coming your way. In fact, at the top of the hour, Virginia Allen is going to join us. She’s been with us before from The Daily Signal. She’s going to give us some commentary on the whole Israeli-American hostage death that just happened, which, by the way, Donald Trump has really come out hard and said, OK, guys, if this thing isn’t done, By January 20th, and pardon my language here, all holy hell is going to break loose on you. And he’s literally said it in that way. Yeah, he’s had. Good for him, by the way. I’ve had it as well. It’s a bunch of garbage. I agree. This administration right now, well, number one, they’re probably getting their pockets padded through some of this as well. I don’t know that for sure, but it would not shock me. It’s no other reason why this thing has gone on as long as it has, and we haven’t helped Israel destroy these guys and wipe them off this planet. Be done with it.
SPEAKER 08 :
I agree.
SPEAKER 03 :
We’ll be back. Hour number three is next. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 09 :
Thank you. Thank you.
