SPEAKER 15 :
I’m great. How are you?
SPEAKER 05 :
Doing very well. Always a joy having you on. And I don’t know this person. So I guess, first of all, who is Chappelle Roan?
SPEAKER 15 :
So she is a pop star. She doesn’t have the best reputation as being the most positive person, John, which I’m sure you can gather as we dive in deeper here. But she has a lot of music for the liberal community, the gay community. She dresses up sort of in drag for a lot of her performances. So she came out doing an episode with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, which is a big podcast. They have a huge female fan base. I would say they have both sides, even though she leans a lot more liberal. And she came out and had this interview with Alex Cooper where she talked about her friend group from back home and how she doesn’t know any mothers that have any joy in their eyes, that are happy, that feel like they can wake up the next day and have a good day. She basically just was going off on this tangent all about how if you have kids, essentially, your life’s going to be over.
SPEAKER 05 :
In other words, having kids is like being in hell.
SPEAKER 15 :
Exactly. I wasn’t going to say it, but exactly.
SPEAKER 05 :
Okay. I mean, I’ve raised plenty of kids over the course of many years, and yes, it is a chore. It is not for the faint of heart, but I will also say, Adrienne, it’s one of the most joyous things you can ever do.
SPEAKER 15 :
100%, John. And I think the key word here, and it’s very culturally relevant right now, is sacrifice. And that is something that our generation is losing. As you have these feminists come out, a lot of people in Hollywood, not only are they trying to not advocate for family life, they are saying that women should work towards this freedom. And the freedom that they feel is The way to go is career oriented, putting off children to your late 30s, early 40s and being able to, quote unquote, do what you want for as long as you can. And that is success. When reality, all that is doing is fostering this idea that any sort of sacrifice that you would make to bring a life to the world. You know, they’re basically discounting like that makes you a better person. You work on yourself and they basically say you can’t have both. You can’t have family life and have success. And they put all this pressure on women that you have to go, go, go with a career or this because being a mom is like looked down upon. And that’s simply not the case. It’s the best. job on earth it is the most important role you could ever have to raise the next generation do you have an impact to form these people these the people that are going to be carrying on your name and others so it’s quite literally something that we’re dealing with in the culture from many angles but she had this platform to kind of just piss off a lot of moms yeah quite frankly yeah And so, you know, I came out also and made a couple videos because I think it’s also important that moms, you know, we have a lot of stress. You know, the kids are sick and this and that and blah, blah, blah. So we need to also be better at advocating and highlighting the positive things. Because a lot of times when moms, you know, get together or they talk online, they’re complaining about how hard it is because it is really hard. You have to put someone fully before yourself. So we also have to take responsibility that we’re going to be better advocates. So that we can inspire other people and show them like, no, it isn’t all complaining. You know, there’s so much good joy that comes along. But it’s easy to get caught up in, you know, the sleepless nights and things like that. But I do think there’s multiple angles here. And one is that, like, I know I took from the conversation, though I didn’t like anything she said. I said, oh, you know what? What I can learn is that when I’m in conversations and people are asking me things, I need to make sure to talk about the good things more.
SPEAKER 05 :
It’s funny you say all this because we do a podcast collectively among several hosts here in our broadcasting group, Crawford Broadcasting. And one of the things that we brought up this past week is just the simple fact that – and it’s not – even your generation or the next or i mean literally adrian this started i believe even in my i’m 60 i think it started in my generation frankly and that is what you were saying which is sacrifice we have literally and it’s not i know it’s not a blanket statement there are some people even young people that understand what that word means and are willing to do it and so on but i think It started in my generation because I was I am the last year of a baby boomer, but was raised by baby boomers. And yet I think every generation, even though I was raised to how should I say this, to know what sacrifice was and so on. And I had parents that raised me correctly along those lines. I will tell you that a lot of the friends I had, that wasn’t the case. And I look at where they are today versus where I am today, and I will tell you that learning sacrifice made a huge difference in my world. But where I’m going with this is I feel like every generation, that not just word, but acting out, sacrifice, and that even comes to the Christian perspective of things, Adrienne. The reality is no one knows what that is anymore.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yes. And that’s, we see in the culture, you know, moving farther and farther from religion. That is also, you know, because it’s sacrifice to go to church on Sunday. It’s sacrifice to do, like all of those things, people are moving farther and farther away. And when we have TikTok and we have sort of like this social media that promotes a lot of alone time as we consume media, we see in the culture what women, I see mostly, are They’re advocating that more alone time equals freedom, happiness, and that’s simply not the case. But we see that over and over in this narrative that it’s the more time you have, you’re going to be happier. That’s not the case. If you follow that trajectory and you get to your late 30s, early 40s, and you haven’t even thought about having kids, well, now we’re running into infertility. Now we’re running into other issues because you walked this narrative with this community, and now you may regret it, and is it too late? It’s just a dangerous, slippery slope. And if these pop stars and if more people in Hollywood would just advocate for family life and stop pushing this narrative and i know that a lot of people in hollywood and pop stars like they don’t post their kids you know they don’t want their family on social media and listen nobody backs that more than me family vlogging disgusting but it also has this perception that people don’t have a family life so we have this culture of worshiping our favorite music artists or you know celebrities but we see nothing as a family life so you sort of just forget that it exists and that parasocial relationship john is very interesting but it is that i mean that is like the reality of what we’re doing in the culture is this parasocial relationship where we think we know everything about people and it just affects i just see it affecting and causing this to go deeper and deeper
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, and I think you want to get your perspective on this as well. I feel I can notice this when, again, even raising my kids, my youngest is now 33. And again, I’m not saying it’s when it started because it has been there and it’s continuing on. And that is this whole idea that, yeah, I’m your parent, but I want to be your BFF at the same time. And by the way, Adrienne, you can’t do that.
SPEAKER 15 :
No. And, you know, It’s something I heard Charlie Kirk say. I’m a big fan of Charlie Kirk. He said, you need to be able to fear God and fear your parents.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 15 :
And in fact, our culture may say, oh, that’s crazy. But in reality, if you don’t fear your parents, and I don’t mean in a violent way.
SPEAKER 05 :
No, no, no. A respectful fear.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yes. If you go out about your life, and when you’re thinking you’re a child, your frontal lobe’s not developed, you’re making decisions, and you don’t have in the back of your mind, what would my parents think? And you don’t fear… you know, the judgment of them or, you know, the grounding or whatever, you can’t possibly be set up for success in making the right decision.
SPEAKER 05 :
Right. No, I, you are spot on. Okay. So here’s a question. I’m a solutions oriented person. It’s why it’s called Rush to Reason. How, you know, how do we switch this pin? You know, how do we swing the pendulum back the other way? How do we change things up to where we get done what you and I are talking about?
SPEAKER 15 :
I think it’s just more people advocating and more people talking about it. And our culture is so easy to go to the negative, so easy to go to the negative. But I think what we’ve seen, and I brought this up before when we talked, we’re seeing like with President Trump and J.D. Vance, they’re injecting the family, the kids around and really promoting family life. We’re seeing Caroline Leavitt with her baby son that she’s carrying around to. All of that helps so much because we did not see any family life in the last. administration and it was like no no no so i think these subtle things are making a difference but i would obviously love to see in the pop culture people advocating more for the family life but you know what i think the other statistics that gen z is actually becoming most conservative you know generation we’ve seen which you know as a millennial i feel like i still have a core group of you know conservative friends but You know, I had both of my kids before 30 and I remember like well before 30 in my 20s. And I remember everyone being like, that’s so crazy. That’s so insane. When in fact, you know, I could stay at home and raise them for six years. And then once they entered school, well, now I have the launch pad for my career. You know, there’s not one way to do it to find success or fulfillment.
SPEAKER 08 :
True.
SPEAKER 15 :
But those formative years when I could literally just be there doing everything with them and they didn’t have to go to a daycare or preschool. Now, financially, most people say, oh, we can’t afford to do that. The reality is it actually saves money because… To put the kids in the daycare, to put kids in the preschool, you’re making a paycheck for nothing. It’s going right back in, and then other people are having the formative years there. So for me, I always advocate jumping into the family right before you feel like you’re ready.
SPEAKER 05 :
A lot of what you’re talking about, and I’ve tried to teach not only my kids, but I coach businesses and so on. And what you’re talking about is, and John Maxwell talks about this a lot in a lot of the leadership training that he does, and that is you can either pay now and play later or play now and pay later, but it’s always easier to pay on the front side. You, I, we paid on the front side.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yep. Yeah, and I knew I wasn’t going to regret it. And I thought like, okay, you know, even as a woman, you know, going in and having kids younger, and I’m not advocating for super young, but like, you’re going to have healthier pregnancies, you’re going to be able to bounce back better. And so I, you know, we don’t talk about this enough in the culture, because everybody says, Oh, you got to find success in your career.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right, right. That’s right.
SPEAKER 15 :
That is the trouble we’re seeing. And so again, I think it’s the conversation solution oriented. It’s just more conversations about it and more women having the conversations about it because God forbid, John, a man comes out and they’re like, you just want women to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, you know? So it’s like, Yeah.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yep. No, you are right. You’re right. By the way, Adrienne, I appreciate all of this, appreciate you and what you do and what you’re doing in the culture, because I can say a lot, yes, and some will listen to me, although I’m 60. And no offense, a lot of folks your age are not going to listen to me, and a lot of folks younger than you are not going to listen to me. So the reality is we need people like you putting this message out.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yep, I agree.
SPEAKER 05 :
Otherwise, that message isn’t going to make it.
SPEAKER 15 :
Absolutely. And, you know, I’ve met so many cool people in the movement, in the conservative field, you know, and so many people come up to me and they’re like, I’m so glad, and it’s going to sound vain, but they’re like, I’m so glad you can deliver this message with some lipstick on. And I’m like, you know what? It sounds silly, but it is true. You know, everyone is always going to identify with like a different talking point, right? We could all be talking about the same thing, but someone’s going to look at you and be like, you know what? Yes. She says it’s okay. She’s standing behind me. You know, I’ve had all these conversations recently about, you know, the biological men taking over the women’s sports. And I’m a mom of two boys, but I don’t have any daughters. But I’m advocating for these children because they care about me. I care about them. Right, right.
SPEAKER 05 :
That’s the bottom line. And you care about yours enough, like I care about and want to make sure that my grandkids now get things done correctly. The last thing I want is, and I have granddaughters, I don’t want them competing against men, Adrienne.
SPEAKER 15 :
No, and it’s about breaking the cycle. I’ve reported on five stories, John, in the last week and a half, and I’m telling you, I’m sick of having a transgendered series every week. Right, right.
SPEAKER 05 :
I hate to throw this in there, but I just was reading last night. It’s funny you say that. I was just reading last night about the two pool players that were competing for the championship, both of them male, in a female sport. Both of them male.
SPEAKER 15 :
Absolutely. That was in the UK. And what I will say is, you know, people have made the argument, well, what’s the advantage, you know, of a man playing pool? And I said, listen up. It’s not the advantage here in this case. It’s the fact that this is a women’s earned event. Correct. And there are no women at the table. Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right.
SPEAKER 15 :
And so what the left tries to do is say that they basically fairness is not transphobic. But their favorite argument is that Republicans hate trans people. We hate trans people. We do not hate trans people. If you want to be Caitlyn Jenner when you’re an adult, feel free. Stop trying to get our children to transition. And do not insert yourself as a biological man into women’s sports.
SPEAKER 05 :
Which, by the way, he, not because I’m still going to call him that, Bruce or Caitlyn would actually say the same thing. And I’ve interviewed a lot of people over the years, Adrienne, that have transitioned and then detransitioned. And here’s my, everybody that listens to me for any length of time knows this. While I love these people and I love them because I love anybody that has any kind of a mental problem going on. And these people need real mental stability. They need some things. I mean, anytime you’re going to say, God, you made a mistake and I’m going to fix the mistake you made. You have a screw loose.
SPEAKER 15 :
Correct.
SPEAKER 05 :
Period.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah. And gender dysphoria is real.
SPEAKER 06 :
That is psychiatric. Yes, it is.
SPEAKER 15 :
But the Democrats campaigning that this is. the biggest issue on the table is insanity when you look at the numbers.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 15 :
But we just had a boy named Zachary, who, by the way, now goes by Leah Rose. He just won the high jump championship in Oregon in the public school system. He beat out all the girls by over two inches. Last year, John, he didn’t even place in the men’s team. Do not sit here and tell me that this, like, This is unfair to women, and they shouldn’t have to walk off. They should be able to earn what they deserve.
SPEAKER 05 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 15 :
And where are the feminists?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, thank you. I’ve said that numerous times, Adrienne. Where are these feminists protecting the feminist movement? Because this goes against it.
SPEAKER 15 :
This goes against it, but it doesn’t fit their narrative, and they are so scared because the Democrats have radicalized them that you are transphobic.
SPEAKER 05 :

Hey, John, just a question. Has there been a lot of coverage in Denver on this helicopter crash?
SPEAKER 05 :
No, hardly any at all. I mean, I watched a little bit before coming on air. A couple of texters sent me some info on it, and I did not even have a chance to see what the video footage looked like or anything.
SPEAKER 10 :
Because the news came on an hour early. It came on at 4 p.m. Eastern time instead of 5. And it’s been going nonstop. And for those who haven’t seen it or heard about it, here’s a six-passenger… helicopter turbine power helicopter right it was a sightseeing flight had a family of five plus the pilot the rotor separated from the aircraft in flight oh man and once the rotor that’s a brick rock that’s a brick yep you’re a brick nothing the pilot could have done and it came down and it hit the water upside down oh man now it’s so it’s real simple the rotor separated from the aircraft and it separated either because there was a uh Metal fatigue or a mechanic, something worked its way loose and something came loose and the rotor flew off, you know, because of, you know, some mechanical error, you know, mechanical failure or metal fatigue. And that’s it. That’s all they know, John. They’ve been going, as I said, it came on at 4 o’clock. They are still, what is it now? It has been three and a half hours.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, it’s 730 your time.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah. It’s been for three and a half hours. They’re still running the same over and over and they’re, In fact, they’re so stupid, they’re calling the rotor the propeller of the aircraft. The propeller came off.
SPEAKER 05 :
No, it beats the air to death. That’s why it’s called a rotor. It beats the air into submission, I guess is what helicopter pilots say. Right, Joe?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yes. And it is a tragedy. It was a family from Spain. They were visiting New York City. You know, mother, father, three kids. And it’s a tragedy.
SPEAKER 05 :
It is. But unfortunately, Joe, I mean, you know, you see these things happen in places like Hawaii and other places. And you wonder, you know, what happened? Did somebody, you know, typically it’s. In those cases, it’s almost always pilot error. I don’t want to blame pilots on everything that happens on those types of crashes, but I can tell you just from history and reading those stories in Hawaii, most of those are. This one, who knows?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, no, it’s obviously a mechanical failure.
SPEAKER 05 :
Absolutely. The only question is… But then you’ve got to ask the question, did he feel any vibrations prior? Should he have set it down a little sooner? Should he have even been closer to the water? Those are questions we don’t have answers to, right?
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s correct. So you and I now know as much as every newscaster in the great New York City area.
SPEAKER 08 :
Good point.
SPEAKER 10 :
The road is separated from the plane. They don’t know if it’s because of mental fatigue or some sort of other mechanical failure. Maybe it could have been a maintenance error. Do you get the History Channel? Do you get the Smithsonian Channel?
SPEAKER 05 :
I do not.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, there’s a series on the Smithsonian Channel called Air Disasters.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, I’ve actually seen some of those episodes. Not there, but I’ve seen some of them, yes.
SPEAKER 10 :
And they do a recreation, and they start with the accident, and they don’t tell you to the very end. They go through the whole process of the investigation. What did the investigators find? The parts and the missing parts and the clues and whatnot. It’s pretty much like a mystery. And at the very end, they solve the mystery. They find the puzzle piece. It’s all based on absolutely true. They do a great recreation. It’s not fiction. As a pilot, I can tell you they’re 100% spot-on accurate, and it’s a great series. And this would be a great episode. You know, it crashed. Okay, it crashed. But why did it? You know, on those shows, like, why did the engine fail? You know, why did the rudder stick in one position? We all know they find out very early on what caused the crash, but, you know, sticking rudder, a piece of the wing fell off. But the mystery is, you know, why did that happen to the aircraft?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, everything you just said, and spot on. The article I’m reading coming from the Gothamist, I don’t know what that is, it just happened to be one of the first articles I pulled up, gets into detail in this article about how tourist helicopters have been a source of noise complaints from local residents. The city wants to go all electric with helicopters, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Joe, what’s that got to do with this crash?
SPEAKER 10 :
Nothing, John. If there was a whataboutism contest, they would be today’s winner.
SPEAKER 05 :
Unbelievable. I mean, that’s basically taking a tragedy and jumping off the backs of those that died to now move your thing forward.
SPEAKER 10 :
Politicizing. They’re politicizing a tragedy. Which, by the way, politicizing a tragedy is a Democrat go-to thing. Never let one go to waste. Never let a crisis go to waste. Never let a tragedy go to waste.
SPEAKER 05 :
Wow. And again, Joe, as you said, we don’t know what happened. We don’t know whether a technician screwed up, whether there was, you know, as you know, and maybe most people out there listening don’t. And I don’t remember the ratio, Joe. You probably know this. But for every hour you fly a helicopter, there’s a ratio of how much maintenance it takes to keep flying, correct?
SPEAKER 10 :
Three. By the way, I’ve got a good friend who flies for United in Denver. He flies jets for United. He was a helicopter pilot. He flew for the Coast Guard and whatever. In his career, the reason he stopped flying helicopters is he’s had five mechanical failures that, you know, that caused him to, I don’t want to say crash land because most of the time he was able to auto-rotate.
SPEAKER 05 :
Auto-rotate, yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
But he’s had five in-flight mechanical failures where, you know, it was basically we’re going down and we’re going down now and I can’t do anything about it other than try to auto-rotate to a soft landing.
SPEAKER 05 :
They’re technically, correct me if I’m wrong, but they’re like a bumblebee. Technically, they’re not supposed to fly, right?
SPEAKER 10 :
There are so many moving parts. You think an internal combustion engine has a lot of moving parts?
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, man. I look at those things being, you know me and my background and so on. I look at those things and I just marvel at how in the world does this thing function.
SPEAKER 10 :
By the way, if you ever have a choice, John, between if you were ever going to fly in a helicopter and you have a choice between a piston-powered helicopter helicopter and a turbine power and this was a turbine powered uh always fly the turbine the turbine has like six moving parts right right the piston has a lot you know how many parts you know how many parts a lot that’s right a lot um and those are all from for you know not to get too technical but air cooled which is a whole nother set of issues and on and on and on we go right by the way um having flown owned and flown a turbine i’ve got 3 000 hours in a turbine engine aircraft The mean time between failures of a turbine engine is like 400,000 flight hours. Wow. Whereas, you know, the mean time between failure on a piston engine is 50,000 flight hours.

Yeah, and then, you know, the other thing that they’ll check into, Joe, as you know, is, okay, who did all the maintenance? Was there something noted that, you know, an operator just decided to go ahead and bypass that maintenance for now? And was there a rotor on order and blah, blah, blah? And we have no idea.

Really quick, along those lines, Joe, this is on 9 News’ website. Governor Polis, for those of you listening, you probably have seen this. He did sign the semi-automatic gun restriction where you now have to have a background check and blah, blah, blah, and a safety course and this, that, and the other. The 12-hour course. Yeah, and this will end up going to the Supreme Court. It will be shot down. It will take our tax dollars to fight this. For this, by the way, even though we, you know, those of us like myself don’t believe in this, this will get shot down at the Supreme Court, Joe. You and I both know that.
SPEAKER 10 :
And by the way, all these laws, including like the ones in Jersey to get the hoops you have to jump through and the money you have to spend, this discriminates against poor people. You know, poor people who live in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods. To take a 12-hour request, I don’t recall the exact number. I know it was more than $500 between this is in addition to the cost of the gun. and the ammunition, you know, the training, the 12-hour course. 12-hour courses aren’t cheap. No, they’re not.
SPEAKER 05 :
That’s right. No, you’re not. That’s right.

And then you have to take time off from work. You have to drive to some place.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yep.

You know, you have to go get fingerprinted.

Typically, at that point, you need to either own a gun or have one there that they’ll train you with, and on and on and on we go, and all that costs money.

Yeah, I did a quick back of the envelope on what it cost me to get my concealed carry permit in New Jersey and putting in the travel. And by the way, and… You have to have a – here’s the catch-22. All these places you have to go to because they don’t fingerprint you at the police station. You have to go to a third-party fingerprinting contract. And they’re not on any bus route or any train route. So you have to go, and then you have to go to these – you have to go to a gun range proficiency to take your shooting proficiency test. That’s not on a bus route and a train route. But guess what? If you own your gun, you can’t take it on a bus or a train to New Jersey.
SPEAKER 05 :
So how are you going to get there? You have to have somebody to drive you or drive yourself.
SPEAKER 10 :
Right. So if you’re a person, you’re low income and you don’t own a car and you can’t take time off from work, how do you go get fingerprinted?
SPEAKER 05 :
You don’t. So what was your total cost? What did you figure out back in the napkin?
SPEAKER 10 :
$810 to get my concealed carry permit.
SPEAKER 05 :
Jeez.
SPEAKER 10 :
And that’s not counting the… Not counting if I had to take time off from work, and that’s not counting my lost income. That’s just direct out-of-pocket income in $10.

Yeah, and again, this one here, for all of you listening, this will get fought. The lawsuits will get started probably tomorrow. I don’t think I’m exaggerating, Joe, when I say that, because this will get started even before this thing takes effect, which I believe is… August of 2026, so it’s almost a year out. I will be surprised, knowing that Pam Bondi and others are now in charge, I will be surprised if this doesn’t make it to the Supreme Court prior to that date, Joe.
SPEAKER 10 :
The only thing I can hope, John, is that it does, because if it does, and as long as we maintain the conservative majority we have, I hope not only would this get struck down, but all the other laws like the 10-round magazine limit capacity, California is the same thing, that they would finally rule on. And there’s also a lawsuit. Do you know in Los Angeles, the sheriff there is slow rolling. Do you know how long it takes to get concealed carry permit in Los Angeles?
SPEAKER 05 :
No, no idea.
SPEAKER 10 :
More than a year. Geez. John, and you know the process, fingerprints and a background check. Why does it take more than a year?

Because they’re slow rolling on purpose.

All right, I got a little bit of a story here that I think Andy and I will probably get into a little bit deeper on Tuesday. But I got an email sent to me and probably some other quote-unquote journalists in town this afternoon. And I don’t consider myself to be a journalist. I am a journalist. Opinion-making talk show host. Now, I try to be as accurate as I possibly can, probably more than most journalists actually are. In fact, I will stand by that and say that we are probably more accurate than most journalists are because I look at most things without a tainted lens on. I just look at it as it is. And… I will tell you that in light of all of that, I don’t consider myself a journalist. I guess some in this industry would consider me that, but I don’t. I’m a talk show host. I give opinions, and we have fun, and we give stories, and we do movies on Fridays, and I do health and wellness and all sorts of things. But with all that being said, I got an email today from Hope Scheppelman, who, by the way, is the previous… vice chair of the Colorado GOP. And I won’t read the whole thing to you. But basically, Hope, in this particular email is mad at an article that was posted by the Rocky Mountain Voice that was put out, oh, I think the end of last week, talking about The lawsuits and where the party stands today and this committee that even Andy and I talked about on Tuesday, the Colorado Republican State Party Controversy Investigative Committee, which, by the way, just think of that name for a second. And why do we have that and why are we spending money on that? The Colorado Republican State Party Controversy Investigative Meeting. By the way, that is a committee with one purpose and one purpose only to oust Republicans, conservatives they don’t like. It’s a it’s it’s literally a ousting committee is what it is. Right. Hope goes on in here to talk about how she wants this particular article retracted. And she gets into what she feels are her details as to what actually happened. And unfortunately, she’s wrong. I’ll just say it straight up. And I responded to her in that way and said, you know, I’m sorry, Hope, but you’re wrong. Everything that you’re talking about in this particular article is. What you’re saying is, frankly, incorrect, and the $100,000 in legal fees never needed to be spent in the first place. That was something that her and Dave decided to do that didn’t need to be done, all to keep Dave protected. So I guess it’s hope’s right, free speech, et cetera. She can find different journalists’ emails any way she can. I have to wonder, though, and I did say this, where did my email come from? I’m guessing she probably still has a list or access to the Colorado GOP list, even though she’s a ex-vice chair. Follow where I’m going with this. In other words… Her term has ended. She got voted out, and I’m sorry to say, Hope, you’re done. You don’t have anything to say about this stuff any longer. You’re done. You may be trying to quote-unquote set the record straight on your end of things, but the reality is you lost. This is like the team that loses that complains about the officiating and how bad it was, but they still lost. And I get it. Sometimes things happen. Sometimes officiating does stink. Reality is you still lost the game. So in this particular case, Hope, you lost. And by the way, it’s more than $100,000. That’s the number, by the way, that her and her likes keep throwing around. It’s actually more than that. You can go back into the filings and look this up for yourself. It’s actually more than $100,000. And… The hundred thousand dollars never needed spent in the first place. And Andy and I have been through this. We have we have, you know, gone through this on a literally paragraph by paragraph basis over the course of time when it comes to the things that she’s actually saying were wrong in this particular story. And all I can say is hope. Don’t be a sore loser. But remember, folks, this is a person that I personally, on her own Facebook page, had to call out because she violated the law by running a Democrat ad on the Western Slope in that particular race that was going on. She ran a paid-for by Adam Fish ad. Frish, I think, is how it’s said. She ran his ad. but cut the disclaimer off that says who paid for it, and put it on her own Facebook page, that’s illegal. You’re not allowed to do that. Any political ad that is run, even on social media, I’ve read the law, has to have that ending in it as to who paid for the ad. She took that out. I had to call her out on it. So this is the same hope that now is claiming that this particular publication… which, by the way, is a Heidi Ganahl publication, which I like Heidi. I have nothing against Heidi whatsoever. Rocky Mountain Voice. Hope is calling out Heidi in this particular case. I’ll just say it straight up. Hope has problems. Major problems. She has major honesty lying problems that I think more of this will come out as time goes by. But Hope has a hard time telling the truth. and or owning what she’s done wrong, as in the case of when I called her out on that video she put up on her own Facebook page. And by the way, Hope sent this to the wrong person. She might get different things back from other people in town, talk show hosts, journalists, and so on, but she sent in this particular case, she sent this to the wrong person and probably doesn’t know it because I’m sorry to say she’s not that intelligent. She just isn’t. And yes, I’m saying that publicly. She’s not that intelligent. And she’s not because of some of the things I’m calling her out on. So I’m not going to belabor that any longer. Andy and I may get into that a little bit more on Tuesday. But Hope is desperately wrong and is desperately trying to hang on to something that she shouldn’t be. She and her side lost. Move on, Hope. All right, one of you is a funny guy and said, Hey, John, we all know your email address. It’s just john at rushtoreason.com. Yeah, you’re right. Yeah, I get it. And again, hope could have gotten it from wherever this show or whatever. And that again, that’s not my point. My point is you’re kind of acting at this point like a sore loser. And from what I can tell, is trying to justify the fact that this committee with Andy and I talked about on Tuesday still exists. And I’ve called for it to be disbanded. I think the current GOP chair, I think Britta, has called for it to be disbanded. The reality is it needs to be disbanded. And I don’t understand why it’s still going on and why this is even being talked about. Somebody also texted in that as far as the gun ban and all of that goes, the polo sign didn’t stop the 15 in Fort Collins shootings. And the killing of two at the mall last week, the 15-year-old is what this person meant to say. It was a 15-year-old that did that shooting last week in up in Fort Collins. Yeah, no, it’s not going to stop that. Because, again, it’s already illegal for that 15-year-old to, A, have the gun, B, shoot someone and kill them. It’s already against the law to do so. These gun laws, again, are not going to do anything at all, anything at all, to curb gun violence. And I know that’s a big subject, and I could bring these people on, and I could talk until I’m blue in the face, and they’re not going to agree. They’re so emotional over what goes on gun-wise that they won’t even listen to reason. And everybody’s texting in and agreeing with me, noting the Fort Collins shooting that happened as well, and then on top of that agreeing with me that, yes, this will in fact go to the Supreme Court, I will be shocked if it doesn’t. I’ll be shocked, frankly, if it doesn’t make it by the time this is supposed to go into law, August of 2026. Now, what I will say, what I can guarantee is gun sales for those items, for those particular guns, are going to be sky high over the next year. So if you’re going to buy one, buy one now. That’s the other thing that these folks don’t understand is they are now going to flood the market with, of individuals wanting to go out and buy those particular weapons. So I guess it’s good if you’re a gun store because you’re going to make some money on this end of it when it’s all said and done. All right, tomorrow, movies. Drop and King of Kings.
