Well done, Justin. You know, for those of us who had the privilege and blessing of knowing Charlie personally, we all know how humble he was. You know, pretty heady stuff for a 31-year-old to be atop of a major organization like Turning Point USA. And look, he lived a good life. 31 years of age, beautiful home, beautiful wife, children. lived kind of a jet-setting lifestyle, but remained extraordinarily humble always and was committed to helping everyone he could. Stacey Sheridan is someone who worked for Turning Point USA and talked about that loving, helpful spirit, that servant’s heart that Charlie Kirk possessed.

In 2022, my husband Mike became sick with cancer. Two years later, that cancer took his life. Throughout those two years, Charlie called me consistently to ask how he could help us. At one point, he had critical medication and an oxygen machine sent to my doorstep without my knowledge. I still to this day have no idea how he made that happen. But that was Charlie. He did the right thing. There was no limit to how far he’d go to help a friend. He wasn’t looking for publicity or credit. He did it because that’s what a leader does. That’s what a friend does. And that’s what a Christian is supposed to do. Sometimes I would express guilt to Charlie that I couldn’t do my job at 100%. Charlie’s response every single time was family first.

A few months ago, there was an event in Tampa Bay with a bunch of our sponsors and advertisers. And I was at the event, and Andrew Colvette, who is the executive producer of Charlie’s show, the Charlie Kirk show, was at that event, at that dinner. In fact, I sat with Andrew. And Andrew stood up and said that it’s been repeated a lot that Charlie grew up listening to Rush Limbaugh. But Andrew told the group that Charlie loved talk radio and also grew up listening to Mike Gallagher. That touched my heart so deeply, and I keep thinking about that graciousness of Andrew Colvette, who is absolutely hurting over the loss of his friend. And Andrew did a wonderful job in helping the Salem family navigate through everything this week. And we’re praying for Andrew, and of course we’re praying for everybody at Turning Point. But Andrew, who’s well-known to Charlie Kirk Show audiences, spoke as well on the future of the Charlie Kirk Show.

So did he apologize for lying about Republicans and Charlie Kirk? Don’t hold your breath. I just saw Scott Jennings’ reaction to Jimmy Kimmel. Scott Jennings, of course, our Salem Radio Network colleague and CNN contributor. I’m sure a lot of people are wondering what Jimmy Kimmel said last night. I can spare, I can break it down in four words. He refused to apologize. He refused to apologize for lying about Charlie Kirk’s assassin. He refused to say two little words. I’m sorry. It’s all he had to say. And this story becomes a non-story. Instead, he cried and he said, I didn’t mean what people think I meant. Well, let me play the clip for you. And then I’ll give you Scott Jennings’ always succinct response to the crocodile tears non-apology from Jimmy Kimmel last night on ABC TV.

I’ve been hearing a lot about what I need to say and do tonight. And the truth is, I don’t think what I have to say is going to make much of a difference. If you like me, like me. If you don’t, you don’t. I have no illusions about changing anyone’s mind. But I do want to make something clear because it’s important to me as a human. And that is you understand that it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man. I don’t think there’s anything funny about it. I posted a message on Instagram of the day he was killed sending love to his family and asking for compassion. And I meant it. I still do. Nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions of what it was obviously a deeply disturbed individual. That was really the opposite of the point I was trying to make. But I understand that to some that felt either ill-timed or unclear or maybe both. And for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you’re upset. If the situation was reversed, there’s a good chance I’d have felt the same way. I have many friends and family members on the other side who I love and remain close to, even though we don’t agree on politics at all. I don’t think the murderer who shot Charlie Kirk represents anyone. This was a sick person who believed violence was a solution. And it It isn’t. Ever. And also selfishly… I am a person who gets a lot of threats. I get many ugly and scary threats against my life, my wife, my kids, my co-workers because of what I choose to say. And I know those threats don’t come from the kind of people on the right who I know and love. So that’s what I wanted to say on that subject. But I don’t want to make this about me because and I know this is what people say when they make things about them. But I really don’t. This show. This show is not important. What is important is that we get to live in a country that allows us to have a show like this.

I will tell you that I rarely, if ever, disagree with my friend and colleague, Chris DeGaulle. Chris precedes me on many stations around the country. Chris’s take was, well, that’s as close to an apology as we’re going to get, so I accept what Jimmy Kimmel said. And look, you can accept or reject anything you want. This is, of course, America. I’m just so fascinated by how casual people are about someone’s refusal to apologize. There’s two little words. And the only reason Jimmy Kimmel didn’t utter those two little words is because he didn’t want to be accused of bending the knee to Donald Trump. He did lie about Trump. the killer of Charlie Kirk. He did smear more than half of the country by suggesting, by making light of the fact that, in his words, we were all spending the weekend trying to distance ourselves from one of our own who killed Charlie Kirk. And I just have to respectfully say to my friend Chris, don’t accept a non-apology. Accept an apology. It’s not hard to do. I’m sorry. I had the facts wrong. I jumped to conclusions. Say it. Say I’m sorry. It’s not hard. It’s not hard. It’s not tough. It’s not tricky. If you refuse to apologize, and let me read for you the great Scott Jennings’ response. His answer to what you just heard from Jimmy Kimmel last night, Scott Jennings wrote, you used the phrase MAGA gang, and then you lied about what happened. You definitely intended to make light of it, and you misled the American people. Pathetic! And that’s the perfect, appropriate, spot-on response. Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue last night was pathetic. And it was pathetic because he is refusing to apologize. I mean, there’s no way he thinks factually he was correct. There’s no way factually he thinks he’s on solid ground. And in case you don’t know, I mean, it’s on tape. It’s not like we can memory hole what he said. Here’s what he said originally that got him in all the hot water with the Sinclair and Nexstar ABC affiliates.

Here he was yesterday, the White House deputy chief of staff, with passion and fire in his belly, paying tribute to his friend Charlie.

What a joy it was to be able to attend the memorial yesterday. Many say the assassination of Charlie sparked a spiritual revival in America. Mike, a lot of people are saying that Charlie’s assassination is leading to a spiritual revival. Number one, do you believe that too? And number two, do you see it happening as well? I think this just expanded a thousandfold. We were already in, I believe, this revival. I’ve said it for the last four years. People don’t look to God when things are going good. They usually look to God and Jesus when things are going bad. And that’s what’s happened over the last four and a half years or five years. And with Charlie’s assassination, it is beyond anything I could imagine. I mean, you watch from around the world revivals going on in all these other countries. But then to sit here and watch this event, I’m going to call it an event. It’s a revival event. I mean, that’s what they mean. Every speaker, the people that have the courage now to use Jesus Christ in there and to speak about him, people that you then think, They didn’t even know Jesus, and they were on that stage talking about him. And everybody’s not afraid to put their faith out there. Remember what Charlie said, everybody. One of the last things he said when they asked him, what would you like to be remembered if you were killed or died? And he said, die. And he said, well, if I did die, I would like to be remembered for the courage for my faith and to speak out for Jesus. And that’s what’s happened to me. This is the biggest revival, I believe, in history. It’s just, and it’s not going to stop. You get, you know, this is so amazing. You could feel it. Almost every speaker, I’m going, well, I wonder if, you know, Don Jr. is going to talk about this. I wonder if, you know, Pozo. I mean, all these different people that spoke, and they’re all speaking about Jesus Christ and how, and what Charlie was saying. You know, God uses all things for good, but this one is massive, absolutely massive, that it’s awoken everyone. Like I’ve said it before the last four years, if you’re an evangelist, if you’re a pastor, if you couldn’t get people to the Lord, you know, people are longing to have hope, and that hope is Jesus Christ. And now it just shows out there that, like, hey— You know, it just exploded. And it’s going to continue to go on and on and on. And because of people aren’t afraid to speak out and use the word Jesus Christ in there, you know, say, hey, this is how I got through. This is how I made it. This is how I got saved. And it’s just so awesome. Remember, Mike, I said it before. God’s given us grace for such a time as this. God’s given us grace. And this is the grace we’re getting that everyone can get as many people to the Lord as possible.

In one of my first conversations with Charlie in July of 2021, we were talking about the risks that all of us take when we challenge interest, the physical risk. And he asked me if I was scared of dying. And I said to him, there’s a lot worse things than death. And one of those things is if we lost our constitutional rights in this country and that our children were raised as slaves. And I said to Charlie, I said, sometimes the best consolation we can hope for is that we get to die with our boots on. Well, Charlie died with his boots on. And he died to make sure that we didn’t have to undergo those fates that are worse than death. Oh, let’s remember Charlie. He was, for those of us who were friends with Charlie, we don’t need any more evidence of the love of God. Because the evidence of friendship is the best evidence that God loves us all. RFK Jr., whose own father was felled by an assassin. We’re left with an unavoidable question in the wake of Charlie’s assassination and so many other instances of violence over the recent past. Where is it coming from and why is it happening? Throughout September, escalating clashes occurred between protesters and federal agents. You see, what happens when the left doesn’t like what’s happening, they turn to violence. And they commit acts of violence in a variety of ways. Maybe they’ll kill one of the most prominent, successful, influential, young conservative influencers. A fellow that you know of, I’m sure you’ve heard of. The late Charlie Kirk. Maybe they’ll shoot up an ICE facility. If there’s an event that leads… to a massive response to a troubled man named George Floyd who died. Buildings are burned. Stores are looted. People are injured. People are killed. The left is desperate. The left is frantic. And frankly, they are becoming increasingly violent. Not really any way around that. 1-800-655-MIKE proved me wrong. Even the Atlantic yesterday, I was shocked. The Atlantic, big banner headline, left-wing violence has now surpassed the right-wing violence in America. Over the last few years, even the Atlantic forced to admit violence. that the political violence is coming from the left. If you consider the love affair that leftists have with monsters like Luigi Mangione, you understand what’s happening in this country. When life is marginalized, when assassinations are glorified, When evildoers like Hamas are celebrated, all of this is coming from one side. So what do we do about it? If you’re a Democrat, what do you have to say about it? I’m not trying to provoke you. I really would love to have a dialogue with you. In the spirit of Charlie Kirk, let’s have a dialogue. When Hillary Clinton, just this morning, goes on MSNBC, just today, and says the following, do you think that doesn’t contribute to the climate of violence that we’re right now witnessing? Here was Hillary on Morning Joe.

I view it as very dangerous. It is right out of the authoritarian playbook, Willie. I mean, this is, you know, this is point four of the authoritarian playbook. Silence your opponents. Cripple the media that doesn’t give you the slavish attention and agreement that you desire.

She’s talking about that. She’s talking, of course, about the Trump administration. She knows that just yesterday, Google executives told House lawmakers. that the Biden administration pressed them, censored, removed, deplatformed people whose content the Biden administration disagreed with. She knows that. She knows full well, just yesterday, that it was revealed and confirmed that the Biden administration absolutely censored people YouTube content and shut down people with their YouTube. Ask Seb Gorka. Ask Mike Lindell. Ask Dinesh D’Souza. Ask Steve Bannon. Ask anybody who got in the Biden administration’s crosshairs. What did they do with those folks? They shut them down. They censored them. They deplatformed. This is the biggest story, incidentally, of the week. I could give a rat’s rear end about Jimmy Kimmel. I’m so over even talking about Jimmy Kimmel. Some people want to. That’s fine. That’s all right. I don’t want to discourage you. But at the end of the day, I could care less. I care about prominent Democrats who do matter. The governor of California should know better. A failed presidential candidate like Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, a former U.S. Senator, she should know better. And she does know better. but they don’t have the integrity to speak the truth. You can’t keep calling your political opponents tyrants and fascists without violence occurring. The visit to Phoenix was certainly a somber one, but we did manage to find a little fun. For example, driverless cars. My boss got a great ride to the airport yesterday morning in Phoenix. When I was leaving the hotel, I ran into Phil Boyce, and he was on his way to the airport. I said, let me get you one of these Waymos. He said, oh my gosh, one of the driverless cars? I said, yeah, let me do it. Phil just followed up. He sent a text to somebody, and he copied me on it. He said, the Waymo ride to the airport was fabulous. I was amazed at how effortlessly that car weaved through the traffic. Just before I got to the airport, on a three-lane road, I noticed another Waymo next to me and another one next to them. Three Waymos going to the airport simultaneously and all avoiding each other. Stunning. It’s the future. I know that I talk about this crap too much. I mean, when I get excited about something. But I really am excited about… I mean, I take Uber all the time. Look, there’s real consequences to these driverless cars, because all the drivers are going to be out of work. And I know that. I understand that. I’m sensitive to that. But I’m going to tell you, right now in Phoenix, in Las Vegas, I think in Atlanta now, Los Angeles, soon to be New York City, they’re going to have these Waymo cars. And it’s the most remarkable experience. You have the app. You summon the car. Car pulls up. It’s got a big dome on the roof and all these. Here’s what was crazy. I got on the plane last night, and there was a Vanity Fair in the seat pocket. I read this. I picked up Vanity Fair. There was a profile of the CEO of Waymo and the future of Waymo, one of these big Silicon Valley startups, you know? And her story is pretty inspirational. It’s a female. I forget her name. She’s like the co-CEO. But this is the future. This is what’s going to happen. And I hate to break it to you. It’s one of the smoothest rides, a lot smoother than a physical driver. I mean, I love Uber drivers and cab drivers and people that drive car services for a living. Hate to break it to you. You’ve been outdone by this technology. And I was reading, it’s a lot about the battle between Google and Waymo and Tesla. Because Elon wants to do robo-taxis. Look, there’s no comparison to these Waymo cars. And it’s because of all of the extra layers of technology. They have radar. They have light sensors. They have darkness things on the sides of it. I mean, it looks almost like a little spaceship. It’s a Jaguar. I don’t know what the make is. But it is a really, look, I’m still stunned by that whole experience. And I’m intrigued about what the future will look like. And I, look, when Uber came along, like, for example, in New York City, the yellow cab drivers were really hurt by that. And I get that. And I hate it. I hate when the mom and pops get replaced by the big box stores. I hate it when a local talk show host gets replaced by a syndicated host. And I am. I’m aware of that, and I’m sensitive to that. But progress and technology marches on. And if you got in one of those cars, some of it is just the emotional factor. Can I get in the front or the back seat of a car with no driver? I posted on it on X. If you go to my X feed at Gallagher Show, I did a little video, a selfie video when I first got to Phoenix. And I took a Waymo all over town. I had a craving for an In-N-Out burger. No bun. Thanks to PhD weight loss. No bun. And you could still enjoy it. Had it wrapped. Had a lettuce wrap. I had to go to the pharmacy. I got in the Waymo. Took the Waymo to the airport yesterday. Summit it on the app, car pulls up, two, three, four minutes, and it’s cheap. That’s the best part. Hate to break it to you, Uber, but you got a real run for your money because if it’s either $75 to go to the airport or $13 to take a Waymo, I’m taking the Waymo. Finally, let’s hear the words of President Trump and Erica Kirk, Charlie’s widow from the Charlie Kirk Memorial. What an incredible moment to see the President of the United States walk out to the podium and pay tribute to a young man who many acknowledge is probably the reason Donald Trump was re-elected. If it wasn’t for Turning Point USA and Charlie’s efforts to mobilize millions of young people all over the country, we’d probably be stuck with President Kamala Harris. Here is the 45th and 47th president yesterday paying tribute to his friend, Charlie Kirk.

To Charlie’s parents who lost their beloved son and to the entire Kirk family, we know that no words could ever be enough to fill the void he leaves behind. That’s a void that just can’t be filled. But I hope the extraordinary outpouring of emotion over these past 11 days has comforted you with the knowledge that your son brought more good and love into this world in his 31 short years than most people, even very, very successful people, can bring in a lifetime. Charlie Kirk loved America with everything he had. And as we can see so clearly today, America loved Charlie Kirk.
