In this episode of Rush to Reason, John Rush and his guests dive deep into the highly debated East Wing expansion at the White House. As social media buzzes with misinformation, John takes the time to clear the air and present the facts about this controversial project. From historical context to ongoing misconceptions, this discussion offers listeners an insightful look into the reasons behind the renovation and its projected benefits.
SPEAKER 12 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 11 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 12 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 11 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 05 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 08 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind? It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 09 :
And it’s Monday. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Hopefully you had a great weekend. A little cooler weather today and be a little colder, I think, even tomorrow. But it is that time of the year. And we’ve got a great week ahead of us, as always, and lots of guests throughout the week. So stay tuned. I’ll mention what those are. You’ll hear those in our promos, which we do on a daily basis. As well, question of the day from Friday. Name the place in India that is home to 20,000 rats believed to be descendants of an incarnation of the Hindu goddess Durga. It’s the Karni Mata Temple, which, as Andy said on Friday, weird. Sorry, just weird. not to get off track here, but I’ve noticed a few things on social media of late where there’s just, I don’t know how to call them, wackadoodles, where they’re into this whole, you know, we’re all reincarnated, and the world is now shifting, you know, spiritually speaking, but not my kind of spirituality, but, you know, the Earth, the universe is shifting, and we’re becoming more crystallized. And I read some of this stuff, and I just think, you people are whacked. You are a nut job. Now, why do I read this stuff? Entertainment, I guess. I don’t know. Just in a way to know some of the nonsense that’s out there, which there is a lot of, from conspiracy theories to all sorts of other things. Yeah, utter nonsense, and I dissect a lot of that stuff, and I’ll get into some of that even today in regards to some of our local politicians that, by the way, need to be Corrected on things. So we’ll get into that. Today’s question of the day. What is the sleeping through? So what is sleeping through summer called? So what is sleeping through summer called? Do you know what that even means, Charlie? I have no clue. No, your button’s not working as well. No, that’s winter. So this would be the opposite of that. So hibernation’s winter. This would be the opposite of hibernation. I don’t know. So those of you that do, answer that on our social media page. Okay. I’ve read a lot of things over the weekend, and I’m sure some of you did as well. It’s becoming bigger and bigger news, especially with those on the left. This whole White House remodel, it’s just ridiculous the way it’s blowing up. You would act like… Donald Trump is tearing it down and starting all over again from scratch. That’s what you would think. Not what’s happening. We’ve talked about this, you know, a few times on this program already. But this is the east wing, not the west wing, the east wing. And just to this is something that’s not stated very much. We mentioned this last week. Charlie put some things into my ear along these lines. And most people don’t realize this. But currently, when there are big events involving the White House, so you’re going to meet a bunch of dignitaries. You’re going to have some sort of a grand ball or an event. And by the way, this stuff happens. In fact, happens a lot. I don’t know what the exact number of those events are, but I would venture to guess, Charlie, I’m probably not wrong on this. I’ll bet you you’ve got at least probably in some way or another, probably a couple of those a month throughout the year. Am I right in thinking that probably at least at least one a month? So 12 a year. And I’ll bet you it’s more than that. I’ll bet it’s a couple of times a month you’re having some event. Keep in mind, it doesn’t always have to involve the president, right, Charlie? They can have other events, fundraisers, things like that that have nothing to do with the president, but they’re still going to hold these events. And currently, the way we do that is because we don’t have a facility at the White House, we rent those facilities. So we actually go out and spend money on those as taxpayers because nothing in government is free. Government has no money. All that money comes from us or it’s borrowed. It’s a combination of meaning every single time, you know, the White House has to go out and do some sort of a dinner. And correct me if I’m wrong, Charlie, but they even do like the press dinner and the roasting and all those sorts of things. Those are those White House driven or those done through the press. The hotels actually sponsor those. Okay, but do you know who pays for those, Charlie, by chance? Okay, so like the Press Corps one, the Press Corps sponsors, but it’s still held at a hotel. And keep in mind, even – and I’m sure I’m right in this one. Even if you hold an event off-site and somebody else is covering the expense – of that being off-site because it’s off-site your security secret service everything else goes way up in cost having it at the white house makes it much it much more inexpensive because the president’s already there he’s already protected you’re not bringing a bunch of other things in the beasts plural don’t have to go out and travel around and and and there’s a motorcade anytime the president goes someplace rightfully so true with every single president It’s been that way, and it got really strong after JFK was murdered, of course, and assassinated. It got much stronger throughout the years, and it’s really strong today. So you don’t run that thing even a block away for free. It’s extremely expensive to pull all of those things out. So here’s my point with all of this, which you’re not going to hear from the left. When this is all said and done, and it’s being done through donors— taxpayer dollars are not being spent on this. Now, I say that because the hard costs, that’s probably true. There’s always soft costs to get these things done, and probably some even folk on staff that are helping with the management of and so on. So there’s going to be some cost to us as taxpayers. But all in all, the hard construction costs, Trump rounded up the money, and he’s got donors, and I’ll talk about some of those donors in a minute. But there’s hard money that has come in to fund this $300 million expansion. Now, I’ve also got some things I want to talk about here where you’re seeing some things on social media from our side that are completely inaccurate, by the way, because I did some investigative work on that. For example, you’ll see some stuff on social media talking about how Obama spent $350 million on a basketball court. That’s not true. That is a false statement. Yes, the Obamas spent a lot of money in a White House upgrade program. to the tune of about $375 million, but the basketball side of that was only a portion of that. It wasn’t the entire cost of doing that. Yeah, those were tax dollars, Charlie, you reminded me. So yes, the Obamas did spend $375 million in tax dollars to upgrade the White House. What you’re seeing on social media is that he spent $375 million on a basketball court. Number one, you could build a lot of things, a lot of courts for $375 million. So no, there wasn’t $375 million spent on a basketball court. That court was a part of the remodel that happened at that time. and a major upgrade. And remember, folks, these in a lot of ways are monuments. The White House, to me, I know that’s where the president lives, but it’s a monument. It really is. It’s a stakeholder, if you would, in Washington, D.C., much like the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, a lot of the other memorials that are there, the Vietnam Wall and so on. It really is a work of art, if you would. It’s a part of our American history. And yet all the left is doing is dumping all over Trump because he’s expanding, quote unquote, that history. And again, at the end of the day, I don’t know how else to say this. This will save money. This will save us as taxpayers money when it’s all said and done. You won’t hear a single person from the left repeat what I just said. Because that paints Donald Trump in a different light than the way he’s being painted among all of the folk that are on the left, all the Marxists. So make sure, number one, you have your facts straight when you’re talking about this. Number two, please don’t repost anything. that Obama spent $375 million on a basketball court because it just isn’t true. And then you look foolish when you post something like that because, again, it’s not true. It’s fine to say the things I just said, that, yes, he is spending $300 million. It’s all coming through private donors. Yes, there might be some overhead costs for us as taxpayers. But when it’s all said and done, even if every other event is paid for by someone else, which they’re not, there are certain things as a country that we do and we host certain people and so on where we as taxpayers are writing the check for those events. Even if it’s four or five of those a year and it’s not even one a month, we’re still writing the check for those. And I can guarantee you those are not small checks. And on top of that, like I said, anytime the president goes someplace for that type of an event, our security costs as taxpayers just ballooned. I don’t know those numbers. I don’t know that those are even available. I don’t know that they publicize those as to when the motorcade leaves the White House, what does that cost on a per mile basis? I don’t have that cost. I didn’t look it up, to be honest with you, to even see if there is such a cost. But I can tell you right now, it’s not like you driving down the store to 7-Eleven. Even if Trump wanted to drive to 7-Eleven or to McDonald’s, because that’s one of his favorite places, to get a Big Mac and a Coke, he’s not doing that for free. There’s a huge cost every time he goes someplace. And again, I’m not saying there shouldn’t be. I think that should be the way with every president that we have. I mean, we want to protect that person at all costs. And they are a target no matter what side of the aisle they come from. Trump’s probably a bigger target than we’ve had for a while, but they’re all targets. So I am all for protecting the president. He is the leader, if you would, quote unquote, of the free world. He works for me. Leading the free world is probably the better way for me to say that. And yes, I want him protected. I don’t want to go through a shift in power and all the things that happen along those lines. It’s an extremely expensive thing for us as a country to go through that, so I’d rather protect him. And frankly, I love people’s lives, and no one should have to go through that. And I would say that no matter whether Joe Biden was in office still or it was Donald Trump now. Heaven forbid Kamala Harris had made it into the office. I would say the same thing about her. The office of the presidency needs to be protected. And I guess you could say at all costs. And we spent a lot of money to do so. Rightfully so. So the thing, though, that you’re not going to hear from the left. is anything I just said in regards to every time we have an event off-site, this is the extra cost involved in that. Even if another, like the press corps is sponsoring it or another country sponsors it or whatever the case may be, there is a hard cost to us. as taxpayers anytime something like that happens. So I want to get that out of the way. I do have some, I guess you could say sponsors of this, some contributors that are making this particular thing happen, which has some of the folk on the left just up in arms. I’ll talk about that here later. in a moment as well. And again, you can text us 307-200-8222. A couple of you already have. I’ll read those here as we go to break. All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Our next caller, is it Joe? It’s Joe. Joe, how are you? I’m sorry, your number looked different today. That’s my cell phone, John.
SPEAKER 13 :
Hey, John, on the security, the motorcade is just a small portion of the total cost. When you’re conducting an event at a remote location, the day before, they have to do a sweep of the entire premises. True, good point. And once they’ve swept it, they have to leave people there 24 hours a day. until the festivities start, and then you’ve got metal detectors and security screening, none of which you have to do if the event is held in the White House.
SPEAKER 09 :
Because all that’s built in. They’re already doing it.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s already built in, and so you don’t have to sweep the White House for bombs, and you don’t have to provide guards to make sure nobody smuggles a bomb in. Great point. You don’t have to set up a portable metal detector, so the motorcade… It’s just a tiny part. Because, again, you’re going to sweep it the day before, but you can’t sweep it and leave. You’ve got to sweep it and then leave people there to make sure nothing changes. Now, by the way, the motorcade, of course, is a huge inconvenience for the residents of the city, both coming and going. You block off all the side streets, and you’ve got all the local police are stationed. Like when Obama used to come to town, they used to have to block off all the ramps onto the highway. Yep. with Denver cops. But no, the security cost, John, is huge. And it’s not just the cost of the motorcade.
SPEAKER 09 :
And where I’m going with this, Joe, and I’ll just throw this in right now because I need to, there was a newsletter, I don’t know why I get on some of these, I guess because I’m in her constituency. So Brittany Peterson, who is my rep, by the way, wrote this, and this is the first line, first headline, if you would, in several things I’ll go through today with her newsletter, just showing you how How demented or how much lefties lie to you. So, Brittany, if you’re listening or anybody from your staff is listening, stop lying to people because here’s what you actually wrote. Demolishing the White House literally. Well, number one, Joe, no, he’s not. He’s modernizing one wing, if you would, making things much better when it’s all said and done, not just for him, but for future presidents as well. While federal workers are being fired and families face rising health care costs, by the way, you and I have talked about that. That’s her problem as a Democrat, not ours. Donald Trump is demolishing part of the White House to build a luxury ballroom for himself and his rich buddies, Joe.
SPEAKER 13 :
No, it’s for state guests. And by the way, it’s not part of the White House. It’s an annex, John. It’s an annex. It’s not part of the White House. The original White House structure is not being touched.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s one of the wings, if you will, quote, unquote.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, and you look at it, there’s a long corridor.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 13 :
You know, you have to go, there’s a long, long corridor between the White House and this annex, which, by the way, has been modified. I think it was modified. It didn’t have a second story until like 1946 or something. So it’s not like it’s been untouched. And then, of course, you’ve got other additions. There was a pool put in the White House. You had a bowling alley. Truman put a bowling alley in the White House. But the other thing, John, is the cost. And I’ve actually paid for catered events, not 500 people. But, John, when you’re paying for catered events, you’re paying for each employee. They might have an employee. They might have a server. They’re paying $15 an hour. They’re charging you $50 an hour per server. Now, the White House already has all that built in.
SPEAKER 09 :
They’re already on staff. They’re already writing that check.
SPEAKER 13 :
They’re already great. So they’re on the payroll already. So what do you think?
SPEAKER 09 :
And, Joe, you’re more on – really quick. You’re more of a mathematician than I, although we’re both pretty good at that. But what would you estimate? Because, you know, cost of the room and the head count and so on and so forth. What do you think – and I’m not even going to talk the security side, but what do you think we’re saving on a per-event basis? What do you think the total would be?
SPEAKER 13 :
John, I’m going to say that rent a ballroom like that – $300 a head minimum just for the guests and the food. $300 a head. Just for the table set up, the water, the coffee cups, knives and forks, the meal, and the service. $300 a head. And it might be a dinner that’s If you want to buy it in a restaurant, maybe it’s a chicken dinner, $50 dinner, you’re paying $300 a head.
SPEAKER 09 :
So if you had 500 people, you’re a minimum just on that cost alone, $150,000, plus all of the other things we just stated have to go into it. So I bet you you could probably, Joe, triple that number, meaning you’re getting close to probably a half a million bucks per event. Am I off in my thought process?
SPEAKER 13 :
No, not at all, John. I think you’re very, very close. Very, very close. So, you know, you hold six events and you’ve already saved, again, I’m not going to say paid for it because there’s nothing to pay for. It’s being paid for. But you’ve already saved the taxpayers, you know, $3 million. Right. Right. And that’s just the six events. Yeah, six events. And that’s being paid for by donors. So there’s zero cost. And you’re saving the taxpayer half a million dollars every time you have one.
SPEAKER 09 :
And as I said last week, for everybody listening, please, these are things you should be stating back to people like Brittany, who are literally lying to her constituents. Joe, this isn’t just for Donald Trump and his quote-unquote rich buddies. This will belong to… the American public, which all of us as taxpayers are participating even in the maintenance of and so on down the road. But Joe, the lifespan of this new facility will be easy if the country carries this long. It’s an easy 100-year deal if you’re lucky. If they build it correctly, it’s a 100-year deal minimum.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, and John, I could see having inauguration dinners there. Every year there’s a In fact, think about it. Every time we’ve had an inauguration done, those big inauguration balls have been held off-site. Good point. So you can now do your inauguration balls.
SPEAKER 09 :
You look at the other uses that they could do throughout the year, again, literally, whether the president’s involved or it’s just some other faction of government where they need to do something along those lines. I mean, you look at all the different things that could happen from this point forward. And Charlie was saying, who did the article, Charlie, that you were telling me about a minute ago? Washington Post did a big article. I didn’t read it yet, Joe, but Charlie was telling me about it. It’s the editorial board, but basically they defended this, saying that, you know what, past presidents would have loved to have this. Future presidents will enjoy having this. At the end of the day, this is a benefit to the country. So, in other words, knock it off, people.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, and when you have state dinners, they’re typically, John, they’re typically not your billionaire buddies. They’re diplomats from all over the world.
SPEAKER 09 :
Right. Correct. In fact, I would say, Joe, that the percentage of your billionaire buddies to those that come from all other walks of life, including other governments and so on, it’s probably a 10 to 1 factor.
SPEAKER 13 :
Easy, John, easy.
SPEAKER 09 :
Charlie brought up another great point. Anytime you have one of these large things, like what you’re talking about, Joe, where you go rent things, it’s not even the cost of the event. It’s porta-potties with tents because there’s a lot of folks that have to be outside, Secret Service and the like. They can’t go inside the building, to your point, Joe. I mean, you’ve got all these other costs, and our half a million bucks might be low, Joe. Remember, this is government. It might be a million bucks when it’s all said and done.
SPEAKER 13 :
John, it wouldn’t surprise me at all. But I think half a million, John, at least.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s a very conservative number, I would think.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, the security cost, John, if you’ve got, again, if you’re going to spend a day sweeping an independent, a third-party facility, and then stationing, and you need to station just more than one Secret Service. I mean, and plus it’s a 24-hour, so you’re going to have three or four shifts of people. Good point. And you might have to have six or seven Secret Service people there, you know, guarding the areas that you’ve swept. And then you’ve got to set up the metal detectors. So, John, that security cost is huge. In addition to the cost of the motorcade coming in.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’ll bet you, in fact, Joe, after everything you just said and you look at the cost of all of that, we are probably very low. I’ll bet you even just – I’ll bet the motorcade costs are a couple hundred grand.
SPEAKER 13 :
John, I wouldn’t doubt it. But again – Even at the low end of that, John, six events, you’ve already saved the taxpayers $3 million.
SPEAKER 09 :
And we’re probably, that number’s probably more like six or so. Yep. And again, Joe, and this is where, no, this is what I blame our party on, even the Trump administration. Why isn’t all of what I just said and you just said put together someplace where you can say, listen, I got private donors to agree to spend the $300 million to actually do this new ballroom slash event center. We have been incurring costs. You guys as taxpayers up to now have been incurring costs of X per event. Why don’t we do that, Joe?
SPEAKER 13 :
We suck so badly at messaging, John. You know, we create a vacuum, and it’s so easy to fill a vacuum with crap.
SPEAKER 09 :
Right, like Brittany just did. My rep here in Colorado, this is exactly what she did. If on the same token, we as a party had put out, you know what, guys? Yeah, we’re going to spend $300,000. It’s all through private donors. But guess what? Every one of these events currently, not counting what they’ll be on down the road, but currently they’re costing us X.
SPEAKER 13 :
John, not $300 million, $300 million.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, yeah, sorry, $300 million. But, you know, that $300 million, it’s all being paid for by private donors. So, really, there’s zero cost to the taxpayer. And down the road, here’s what we’re going to save per event.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right. And if you save, again, half a million per event. So, you know, if you do six events, that’s $3 million. So even if you only did six per year. In 10 years, you’ve already saved the taxpayers $300 million.
SPEAKER 09 :
Right. Why? Why? Why can’t we do this, Joe?
SPEAKER 13 :
John, it always frustrates me that the Republican Party is so bad at messaging. You know, I don’t know why the RNC doesn’t take out TV ads and say, you know… This new addition, by the way, here’s the schematics.
SPEAKER 09 :
Here’s what it’s going to look like. Here’s how it’s going to modernize the White House. We haven’t had a big modernization like this in X amount of years. And, oh, by the way, currently we’re spending X amount of money annually because we don’t have this facility. Donald Trump went out, got private donors to do this, meaning moving forward we’re going to save, not spend, this much money annually. on each event moving forward, meaning we’re going to save the taxpayers this much money annually.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, the RNC has a huge war chest, John, and this is not an ad campaign you would have to keep. You know, when these things come up, if you ran a three- or four-day ad campaign, and then, of course, once those ads go up and they put them on social media, then people like you and me have access to them, and we can regurgitate them, we can post them on social media sites. So all they have to do is run a three- or four-day ad campaign. You have to have a marketing firm. You’ve got to have an advertising firm create the ad. But once you create the ad, John, you don’t have to run it for a month. You run it for three or four days, get the word out, and then people like you and me and others will obviously repost those things and share them with others and get the word out.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, the cycle of that news just continues on if they would do it.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, John, you have a sphere of influence. Each one of your listeners has it. even if it’s only six or seven friends. But, I mean, I don’t know how many thousands of listeners. But if you take the multiplying effect, so let’s say I’m going to make up a number. Let’s say you only had 5,000 listeners. Well, each one of them, if they have six family and friends, and they reshare that number, and you were to play that ad on air from the RNC saying, this is how much money is going to save the American people. 5,000 times six, you know, there’s 30,000, and then how many of them are going to share it with other people? And before you know it, you’ve heard the phrase going viral. Well, John, stuff like that, you can make it go viral.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s right. Absolutely. And again, and I’m not tooting our own horn, but Joe, I haven’t seen, read, heard anybody else in media do what I just did for the last half hour.
SPEAKER 13 :
No, and it’s so sad, John, that… and maybe there’s another half a dozen guys like you nationwide, but it’s so sad that the RNC is making this so hard. There should be a slam dunk. You come up with a 30-second spot, and you pay to run it. You pay to run it in every major market nationwide. You don’t have to do Lincoln, Nebraska. You don’t have to do Des Moines, Iowa. You just run it, and maybe you do it on the ABC evening, maybe do a spot on the ABC evening news. you know, and maybe the CBS Morning News, and you just run this spot, and in a couple of days, you know, you’ve already hit 80% of the population with it. So it’s just frustrating.
SPEAKER 09 :
I don’t understand it, Joe. To me, this one’s an easy slam dunk.
SPEAKER 13 :
It is.
SPEAKER 09 :
Dispel all these stupid rumors from folk like my own rep here in Colorado who literally is lying to her own constituents and the other people of Colorado because that’s literally what she’s doing. She’s lying.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, you have to know, John, is she that clueless and uninformed that she believes it, or is she a knowing liar, and when she is your rep, which of those two answers is worse?
SPEAKER 09 :
I think with Brittany, it’s a combination of the two.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, you know, I always ask, clueless and uninformed or knowing liar, which is worse?
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, the knowing liar is worse. Yeah, I don’t know. They’re both bad. Joe, I’ve got to run. Appreciate you, man, as always. Thanks for the extra info there. Dr. Scott coming up next. SPEAKER 12 :
The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right, we are back. Our guest joining us now, Kenneth. And is it Abramowitz? Am I saying that right, Kenneth?
SPEAKER 12 :
Very good, yeah.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, perfect. Well, thank you for joining us. I appreciate it. You’re a threat analysis and author of The Multifront War, Defending America from Political Islam, China, Russia, Pandemics, and Racial Strife. Talk to us about J.D. Vance and Gaza, if you would.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, J.D. Vance is excellent. Agreed, by the way. Yes, I give him a B+. I know how he can get an A, but he’s very good. But there’s some issues that are very complicated and difficult to understand in Phase 2 of this agreement. Phase 1 is get the hostages back, of which 20 living hostages and about half of the 28 deceased hostages came back. But where are the others? Meanwhile, Israel’s released its terrorists that it was holding, yet hasn’t gotten back the hostages that Hamas was holding. So that’s not fair. And the U.S. government should do something about it. And President Trump has publicly said Hamas has 48 hours to deliver the bodies. But meanwhile, Israel has released a lot of terrorists. So that’s one issue. The second issue or phase two is the second issue coming up is how do you get rid of Hamas? How do you disarm Hamas? Both the president and vice president have said that Hamas has to be disarmed. There’s only one. country, and one armed force is capable of disarming Hamas, and that’s Israel. So they should just say to Israel, go disarm Hamas, because we can’t find anybody else to do it. So J.D. Vance is good, but he should be even tougher in terms of defending American-Israel interests in Gaza.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, so what do you tell these individuals? Because I’ve debated some of these folks on air, and it’s hard for me to debate because, to me, a lot of this, Kenneth, is just common sense. But I have. I’ve debated some folks that would say, well, you know, what about all the starving kids in Gaza? And what about the, you know, quote-unquote genocide that’s happened in Gaza? You know, what do you tell those individuals? Because, frankly, I think they’re very mistaken, but I’m asking you what your thoughts are.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, there’s two genocides going on in the last two years. One is on October 7th, when Hamas sent in their 6,000 death cult members to kill 1,200 Israelis. By the way, they killed Jews, Christians, and Muslims. They didn’t care. They’re a death cult. They just killed 1,200 people. That was genocide. And then, in the last two weeks, there’s a genocide. Hamas is now killing as many Arabs as they can.
SPEAKER 09 :
Internally, right?
SPEAKER 04 :
So there’s a… Yeah, so there’s a genocide going on, and no one’s doing anything about it.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, and what I said the minute I started hearing that was happening, Kenneth, I reminded everybody, it’s like, okay, wait a minute, all of you people that said that it was Israel committing genocide, it’s funny that it’s still going on, and yet the ceasefire has, you know, at that point in time had taken place. You know, I think you guys are very mistaken in who you’re pointing the finger at.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s exactly right. The genocide is Hamas’s behavior on October 7th and then in the past two weeks. So they’ve killed a few hundred people that I know of just from reading the news report. For all I know, they’ve killed a thousand people. But someone should stop them, because what they’re doing is they’re killing their competitors.
SPEAKER 09 :
I was going to say, anybody that is against them or spoke out against them, even they’re basically annihilating, they’re assassinating, right?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, and these are people that we, society, need to manage Gaza after Hamas is disarmed. So they’re killing all the people who could be managing Gaza without being part of a Hamas death cult. So America should be, and J.D. Vance should be, saying to Israel, that’s enough. We’ve waited long enough. We can’t just sit back and watch a Hamas genocide.
SPEAKER 09 :
And you tell me if I’m wrong, Kenneth, but here’s my thought on why some of that isn’t happening and even J.D. Vance himself. And this is where, to your point, he could be getting an AA plus in this, but he’s not. And here’s my thoughts as to why. There is a faction of the right – and by the way, I think these are very ignorant people that for some reason are Jew haters, and I have no idea why. But these are Jew haters that are on the – they call themselves conservatives. I’m using that term very loosely, Kenneth. But they’ll call themselves conservatives, yet they’re – Jew haters when it’s all said and done, and I’m not saying J.D. Vance is listening to all of them, but I think there’s enough voice there to where that may be, and I could be wrong on this, but that might be part of why he’s not full frontal in the way that you and I would want him to be. That’s my thoughts.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, I agree, and it’s disconcerting. See, I understand I understand anti-Semitism on the Democrat side, because the Democrat Party is systemically anti-Semitic. Absolutely. By the way, to be honest, they also hate Christians.
SPEAKER 09 :
Kenneth, thank you for saying that. You and I think very much alike. I talk about it on this program all of the time. They are 100% against both of us.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right. So but I don’t I’m very disappointed with Republicans for different reasons, for other reasons. Join in on this anti-Semitism. Well, here’s what I was really quick.
SPEAKER 09 :
Here’s what, Kenneth, let me just step in for a moment, because this is my thought. Number one, I don’t look at them as true Republicans or true conservatives. A lot of them come out of the Libertarian Party. Most Libertarians, by the way, are Jew haters. Most people don’t realize that, but they are. That one I can’t wrap my head around. I don’t know why they’re Jew haters, but they are. And I’m very Libertarian-leaning until it gets to that point, Kenneth, because I can’t do that, and I don’t understand these people and where that hatred comes from.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, unfortunately, it came from the past 2,000 years.
SPEAKER 10 :
True.
SPEAKER 04 :
For the past 2,000 years, many of the leaders of the Church, particularly 2,000 years ago, decided to declare war on the Jews. They didn’t have to. Jews and Christians can coexist perfectly fine. They did not have to demonize Jews, but they did. And then it got into the blood. so to speak, or the brain, unfortunately, of the Christians. The way I look at life is Jews and Christians are Siamese twins, and we’re 96% the same, so we have 4% different thoughts, it doesn’t matter, but we’re Siamese twins, and we have to protect each other. When something bad happens to Jews, it’s bad for Christians. When something bad happens to Christians, it’s bad for Jews. We have to band together against our enemies and in particular the Islamic death counts. And we have to protect ourselves. There’s no reason to be fighting each other anymore.
SPEAKER 09 :
I agree. And again, that’s been some of my disappointment, like you. You and I are pretty much on the – well, not pretty much. We are on the exact same page when it comes to some of this. So here’s a question that I have for you, and this is something I just talked about a moment ago in regards to the White House expansion and so on. And as conservatives – and I’ll just say this straight up, Kenneth – We suck at messaging. We really don’t. In fact, what you and I are even talking about right now, your example of how we can coexist and have, by the way, in fact, you know, the Christian faith is based upon the Judeo faith. I mean, at the end of the day, we are Siamese twins. Why don’t we message that better?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I have an expression which is similar to what you just said, is the forces of evil are good at being evil, and the forces of good are bad at being good. So we have to close the gap, and that’s why people like you exist, and shows like you exist, and people like me exist. I call ourselves cultural warriors. We don’t have uniforms, we don’t shoot bullets, we shoot words, so to speak. We use our brain, and we use our words. And we have to raise our voices. We have to talk more and more and more with a louder and louder voice, with bigger and bigger audiences to get our message across.
SPEAKER 09 :
Good point. You know what? I can’t argue any of that at all. Okay, back to the book, The Multifront War. Where do folks buy the book, Kenneth?
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s two ways. They can go to my website, SaveTheWest.com. There’s a pop-up menu. They sign up. They get my articles every two weeks. It’s complimentary. And then there’s a link for my book right to Amazon. Or they can simply go to Amazon or Barnes & Noble or any of those Internet stores and buy the book directly there. And I’m always happy to discuss my book. I’m very proud of my book. Although it’s five years old, I put out four editions. The most recent was just about four months ago. And people can get a very, very current update. Just go to the last chapter and start reading my Trump 2.0 forecast. The book is just a nonstop forecast. And I’m not a historian. I look back, but I try to forecast the future.
SPEAKER 09 :
Gotcha. Okay. Again, we think a lot alike. One more thing before I let you go, because on your website there’s an op-ed by Rachel, who, by the way, I have interviewed many times, Erin Feld, great lady, by the way. She’s got an article on there talking about Mamdani, I should say, and the Jews. For all of you listening maybe that don’t know this, he’s the one running for New York mayor that unless something –
SPEAKER 04 :
strategically happens uh kenneth he probably wins and that’s going to be a huge setback for new york city and for the country and uh and democracy i don’t think i wrote a similar article it was a few weeks before but it’s on my website I don’t think we should allow foreign agents to run in our elections. He’s not a real American. He hates the Constitution, hates the Bill of Rights. He’s a non-Marxist. He hates the Christian society. Well, I call him a red, a green, and blue. Red for the communists, green for the Islamists, blues for the globalists. And he represents all of our foreign enemies. And I don’t think we should allow foreign agents to run in our election.
SPEAKER 09 :
Can’t argue that. I totally agree with you on that one, 100 percent. All right. And that website for all of you listening, SaveTheWest.com. I’ve been there many, many times. I’ve had Kenneth on before. Always enjoy talking to you. And you guys do a great job. And all I can say is, as you said a moment ago, we just got to keep fighting.
SPEAKER 04 :
And fight harder and with louder voices and bigger audience. That’s right.
SPEAKER 09 :
Kenneth, I appreciate it. Thank you again for your time. It’s been a joy. And you’re welcome anytime, sir.
SPEAKER 04 :
Great to be with you.

SPEAKER 12 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560. And we are back.
SPEAKER 09 :
Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. And Charlie reminded me, he sent me an article over the weekend. Swalwell demands that the 2028 Democrat candidate vow to destroy Trump’s White House ballroom project the first day they would take over. And he’s a California Democrat, of course. And I’ve listened to him before. And he’s an idiot. I’m sorry to say. So, I mean, I have no other way to say it. Just an utter moron. I mean, the guy doesn’t have a brain. Now, he talks like he does. He’s pretty well-spoken, and he comes across pretty well as far as all that goes. But the stuff this guy stands for and some of the things that he actually does on Capitol Hill, he’s an utter moron. Somebody texted me and asked if I’m proud of my representative, Brittany Peterson, who is my representative here in Colorado, if I’m proud of her. Is it Patterson or Peterson? peterson not peterson peterson not with an a by the way it’s still an e it’s p-e-t-t-e-r-s-e and i would have said peterson but it’s peterson i don’t know her you can tell because don’t even know her last name that well but not impressed and there’s some other things in this this newsletter she sends out one on a monthly basis and honestly typically i don’t pay much attention i just sort of look at it scroll through move on i don’t really care what she says but this one I had to watch because as she talks about things in this, they’re just not true. For example, luxury jets for Republican leaders while families go hungry. This is always a big deal. These Democrats are talking about how everybody’s going hungry, which, by the way, it’s their fault. They won’t agree to the continuing resolution, so government shut down. This is on them, 100%. As 600,000 Coloradans are being notified that their SNAP benefits will run out in November, somebody just texted a moment ago, too, and said that there’s a movement on social media. I’ve not seen this, but there’s a movement on social media whereby people getting EBT and SNAP want to revolt and basically target individuals that are paying for their groceries in the parking lot and basically steal their groceries. So you might think about that as you’re grocery shopping and make sure that you’re paying attention because the last thing you’d want to do is lose your haul at Costco or King Soopers or wherever you’re shopping. So be careful is what this texture was trying to say. I hadn’t seen that, so thank you for the heads up because I had not read that. But like you guys all know, I don’t watch much stuff from the time I’m off air on Saturdays until Monday morning. I don’t watch a lot of news. I don’t watch TV, and I don’t get into that cycle. I try to take a day off. Clear my brain if you would. So thank you, by the way, for doing that. But she goes on to say here that as 600,000 Coloradans are being notified that their SNAP benefits will run out in November and notices are being sent out about health insurance premium increases. By the way, that’s on Democrats. The Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is spending nearly $200 million in taxpayer dollars on two new private luxury jets for herself. No, folks, those are not for herself. There’s always money inside of government that is spent on upgrades to, quote, unquote, infrastructure, transportation, and so on. And as anybody out there would know, Jersey from Joe especially, these planes will wear out. They do changing around on different things in regards to our air fleet on a routine basis. This isn’t anything new. Nancy Pelosi, if I’m not mistaken, when she was speaker of the House, you know, flew on that jet constantly. Am I right, Charlie? Back and forth from California almost on a weekly basis. So, guys, if you’re a Democrat and that’s one of the things that you’re running on, Brittany especially, that’s a really dumb path to go down, knowing the history that you guys have on your side. Really stupid path to go down. She talks about bailing out his billionaire friends. He just bailed out his right wing friends in Argentina. No, that isn’t exactly what happened there. There’s no bailout. What Trump is doing, by the way, he’s being very strategic in his worldwide plan. He’s getting ahead of China. That’s what he’s doing. China has done all over the world what Trump just did in Argentina. In other words, let’s get in there. Let’s help them in numerous ways. They’re then indebted to us, and we’ll get back from them everything we need to repay the $40 billion we’re actually going to spend here. That’s how this works. China has done that over and over and over again. All Trump did was beat China to the punch. So, no, Brittany, once again, you’re very wrong. You’re very much lying to the people that you’re sending this out to. You’re looking at your Democrat talking points only. And as Joe said, you’re either very ignorant of the facts or you’re lying. Which is it, Brittany? I’m calling you out if any of your staffers are listening. and if anybody knows her, please send this copy of this particular part of the show to her, because I want that question answered. Are you really that dumb and ignorant, or are you going to admit that you’re lying to your constituents? It’s one or the other. You can’t be that dumb, but you are in fact lying. And I want somebody to ask her point blank for me, and maybe I should actually call up, of course they’re not going to talk to me, but I should call up and ask that question as a constituent, Which is it, Brittany? Are you lying? Or are you just that dumb? Because it’s got to be one of the two. You can’t be one. It’s nothing in between. It’s one or the other. So, again, she talks about how she’s the dose of hope and this, that, and the other. And, again, they have to run for office every two years. So I will say this. She does a really good job of communicating, putting out a newsletter once a month, letting everybody know where you’re at and what you can do and what’s going on and this, that, and the other. She’s an attractive lady, by the way, and that probably serves her well, given what she’s doing as far as this goes, because people are going to pay attention to her because of that and that alone. But she really can’t be this dumb. Honestly, she can’t be this dumb. So we’ll take a break. I’ll come back. I’ve got one call coming in really quick. Paul Lundberg is up next. He is my insurance broker. He wants to help you with all of your insurance needs as well. Talk to Paul today. Call him today, 303-662-0789.

SPEAKER 03 :
Live and local back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right, Ben’s on the phone, but he’s going to wait until the top of the hour. I don’t have any guests, so we’ll take Ben’s call then. So hang tight. We’ll get to Ben here in just a few minutes. But again, going back to this newsletter that was sent out to me personally, and I guarantee you, any of the rest of you that are out there that have a rep that you’re on their email list some way, somehow. And by the way, even as conservatives, I would encourage you to get on their mailing list just to see what they’re saying, like I did, and then counter that like I did today. basically calling her out for the lies that she’s putting into her newsletter. And really, what I should do is take the time. It’s limited, I know, but I should take the time to actually send in an email or a text message or a phone call and really ask that same question. Are you really this ignorant of what’s going on in Washington, or do you just like lying to all of your constituents? And some of you out there listening that are in the Jefferson County area, and I know it’s all kind of weird, you know, who represents who because it’s not just, you know, Jeff Coe and others can get split. I get that. Look who your rep is. And by the way, sign up for their newsletter. Even if they’re a hardcore, you know, communist Marxist, sign up. Find out what they’re sending out to their constituents because that’s what they’re going to run on. And then counter that. In the way that I just did today, and for you that don’t have a radio program, I’m very fortunate to be able to do this and counter it in that way, but for those of you that don’t, call their office, send an email, find out exactly how you can communicate, and hold them accountable for the things that they’re lying about. That’s what we all need to do. And all of you have a rep that you can do that with. And, of course, we have our two senators as well, and they put out some of the same nonsense at times. So, anyways, you guys know what you need to do. Hang tight. Again, we’ve got another two hours coming your way. Ben’s going to kick us off here at the top of the hour here at 4 o’clock from Evergreen. So, guys, hang tight. We’ll come right back. This is Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 1 :
Thank you.
SPEAKER 11 :
Average Guys. Average Guys.
