So anyway, we got the whole crew with us. Again, Carl Jackson sitting in for Mike. I wasn’t sure where I’d start. I’m one of these people. I like to intertwine the news of the day with kind of a macro theme, if you will. And I got to be honest with you, my brain has been spinning all night. And also, I’m a little frustrated. I’m a Dodgers fan. And I came into Tampa last night, pulled into the parking lot, and I was able to listen to the game to the bottom of the ninth inning. And I’m sorry, Tampa, for those of you. I’m sorry. Born and raised a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. I’m sorry. All right. And so the game was tied at the bottom of the inning 5-5. I turn off the radio. I head up to my room. The game is not playing in the room. MLB channel, Fox Sports channel, they’re playing poker, they’re playing something else. I’m like, okay. I start reading a little bit. I go to sleep and I’m just praying to God that the Dodgers were somehow able to pull it out. Although I suspected that it might go an inning or two more. Lo and behold, I wake up this morning only to find out that the Dodgers won in 18 innings of baseball. Absolutely insane with a walk-off homer from Freddie Freeman. So I’m so sad that I missed it, but I’m still glad to be here with you today. Guys, okay, so let me, you’ve got a federal employees union that is now saying, hey, listen, this shutdown thing, not working so well, talking to the Democrats. You have President Trump that is gallivanting, thankfully so, around the world, Japan. He came to a deal or actually ended a ceasefire or started a ceasefire, began a ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia, worked out a trade deal with them. In Malaysia, absolutely, absolutely insane. You have the left still trying to go apoplectic about the ballroom that President Trump is going to be building onto the White House, which I think, frankly, is needed. I have no problem with it. The only thing, I’m not a big fan of a lot of gold. I think when you overdo the gold, it looks a little tacky. That’s my opinion. But I think that a ballroom is long overdue in the White House. But those are the things that the Democrats are talking about at least that White House ballroom building and so on, etc. They don’t want to talk about what’s happening around the world. They don’t want to talk about what’s happening in the Western hemisphere. There’s even some on the right that are complaining about President Trump. Why is he doing all this stuff, all this foreign policy stuff? Why is he doing all this stuff with Venezuela? He’s bombing boats. And Mike talked about that yesterday. I’m not going to get in, get in, get into that too deeply today. But just as part of a bigger picture and what President Trump is doing, even in Argentina, I want to talk about Argentina as well. And again, I got a lot on my mind, so I’m going to tie this all together. But but what President Trump is doing is strengthening, strengthening America, his trips to his his trips to Asia. What he’s doing in the Western Hemisphere, basically reestablishing the Monroe Doctrine. I believe the last time I was here, I talked to you guys about that, and that’s all he’s doing. Even with Argentina. Listen, I know our farmers are hurting, and I don’t want to minimize that. I’m actually going to be… broadcasting or during a podcast with one of our farmers this Thursday. We’ll have it out by Friday talking about the beef issues that we’re having here in the United States and what’s happening with Argentina. A lot of farmers, a lot of ranchers, I’m sorry, are not happy about that. But also, I understand that what President Trump is doing, this is about pushing China Out of the Western Hemisphere, what he’s doing in Venezuela, that’s about pushing China out of the Western Hemisphere. What this is doing when he’s going to Asia, that is about securing American strength globally. Guys, we can’t be the police of the world. I know conservatives say it all. I have a different view on that. Frankly, I believe that God has given us a lot of responsibility, you know, as Americans. No, we should not go out and send troops everywhere and put boots on the ground everywhere. But wherever in the world American interest lies. I’m OK with Trump establishing American strength globally because we do whether we like it or not. I’m not a globalist, but whether we like it or not, the world is acting or reacting in a global fashion, global way. I’m also going to be talking about these three liars in the Democrat Party. whether it is Gavin Newsom, Graham, who was pretending like he was broke. Broke is a joke growing up, so we’re going to be talking about that. Also, Graham Platner, the guy that had the swastika or the Nazi emblem tattooed on his chest, only covered it up just within a few weeks ago, and more on Ma’am Danny and his aunt because he totally lied about his aunt. I’m sure you guys have heard about that, but I want to get into that as well. But I’m going to say something a little controversial, and I’m just getting started. So we got a long show ahead of us. I got to work with a thing. I try to come up with a theme every time I do or sit in for everyone. Every time I do my own show, it just kind of helps me put things into perspective. And what I was thinking about today was this thing. This thing is what I wrote down without political will. Policies and parties mean nothing without political will. Policies and parties mean nothing. I want you to hold on to that because I’m going to get back to that. I’m going to get to that when it comes to President Trump, who will go down as one of the greatest presidents in American history. I’ll also tie in DeSantis, Governor Ron DeSantis. I’ll also tie in Malay in Argentina. When it comes to this, but I want you to understand this without political will, policies and parties mean nothing. All right. So let me start off by just talking about New York City. And I’m so thankful that Mike was talking about this. I think New York City is a big deal. I know there’s some conservatives and Republicans and even libertarians that say, well, let New York City go by the wayside. I think that’s dangerous because I think it’s just the beginning. If you see the useful idiots that are – you saw the useful idiots over the weekend and these rallies for Zoran Mandani and AOC was there. Bernie Sanders were there. All of the wealthy Democrats basically were there. Guys, we are surrounded by a bunch of useful idiots, and this is extremely dangerous. And I don’t want Mandani and his views to spread like a cancer. And I got to tell you that I think a lot of conservatives – are framing this in the wrong way. There’s no doubt. There’s no doubt that Ma’am Danny is a communist. No doubt about it. Socialist, if you want. There’s no doubt about it. But more than that, he’s an Islamist. And that’s what I find extremely terrifying. And I don’t think a lot of Americans get it. I don’t think a lot of Americans, unfortunately, even on our side, get what’s happening with the United States of America. I got to tell you, what a shame. I’m sorry, New Yorkers. I love you. It is a shame that this man could even think about running for New York City mayor. And I got to be honest with you. I’m going to hold some of the voters accountable. New York City, New York City. the 9-11 terrorist attacks, New York City. I’ve got to be honest with you. This is going to offend some conservatives. To me, the bigger issue isn’t whether or not you’re going to hire a socialist for mayor. Because you’ve done that already, and you’ve done that for governor. And I’ll prove that to you. The biggest issue to me is that you are likely going to put an Islamist… in office with a worldview that is totally antithetical to the Constitution of the United States of America. Now, I know socialism is too. We can have our debates. But guys, I got to say this. I’m going to say something that’s going to offend some of you because some of you have been on this bandwagon, and that’s okay. It’s okay to disagree with me. I’m fine with that. And one of the reasons why I’m so concerned. about the Mamdani race, and I don’t take it lightly. I do believe, I’m sorry, I do believe that the Mamdani race is basically a tale of what’s to come, if you will, and that is sadly, sorry for those of you that just saw me move. I believe it’s a sad tale of what’s to come. If we don’t get this thing in check, if we don’t start pressing our policies, explaining our policies, explaining why they’re better, Not falling for this Islamophobia stuff. When he started pouring on this Islamophobia nonsense, Ma’am Danny did, you know, in the fear of that, I’m like, OK, this guy, it confirmed what I believed already. This guy wants to go beyond or move beyond communism to Islamism. I really do believe that’s it. I really do believe that’s it. I mean, where you have no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech. It’s a theocracy. I believe ultimately that’s what he wants, or at least that’s what he thinks he wants. He’s never had to be oppressed or suppressed by an Islamic government, so he might think it’s cool unless he had to live under the thumbs of it. But let me just share a few of these races. I forgot about these. These are some… Top mayoral candidates. I printed this out over a week ago. I figured I’d keep it, and I’m glad I did. You got New York’s Zoran’s Mamdani. This is called the Mamdani effect. Three top mayoral candidates take aim at wallets with socialist-minded tax policies. Forgive me. I forget who this is by. It may be the Wall Street Journal. I don’t remember. You have a Seattle’s Katie Wilson on America’s West Coast, thousands of miles away from New York. An upstart mayoral candidate is challenging incumbent Democrat Bruce Harrell. And she has not shied away from comparisons to her empire state comrade. So this is spreading like wildfire. These people are becoming bold. This is communism is the new Democrat Party. That’s what they believe in. They want to be authoritarians. They make it sound nice and fluffy. Oh, we’re going to take from the billionaires. We’re going to take from the rich man. That ain’t America in America. What you do is make sure politicians like Mamdani doesn’t exist and they don’t build a bunch of regulations that advantage the billionaires. Frankly, what Mamdani is doing is going to hurt the poor and it’s going to enrich those that are already rich. The people that are rich can afford to move away from Ma’am Danny’s policies. They can shield their money. They can invest their money. They can put their money in other places, different investments on, et cetera. But the people that he’s claiming he wants to help, he’s not going to help. He’s not going to raise their status of living. What he’s running on is, guys, he’s running on the status quo. We’re going to steal somebody’s money that worked hard. We’re going to give it to a bunch of lazy, no good pieces of crud. That’s his campaign. Hey, you don’t want to work. You don’t want to be lazy. You know, life is life is hard. Just take it easy. I’ll go steal somebody’s money for you. I’ll give it to you. And you can feel good about yourself. But you’re never going to rise to the level in your life that God intended you to rise. You’re never going to become who God intended you to be. That’s what communism essentially does. This is what he’s running on. And frankly, the fact that so many people are falling for this nonsense… It terrifies me. The fact that we have so many useful idiots inside of the United States. Guys, I don’t believe I no longer believe that is just split 50 50 when it comes to voters. And frankly, I don’t believe it’s a 50 50 split anyway. I think Democrats have been rigging elections, gerrymandering, so on, et cetera, forever. But nonetheless, let’s pretend like it’s basically 50 50. You’ve got 50 percent of Americans. that are informed, or at least moderately informed when it comes to politics, and you’ve got another 50% that are useful idiots. I mean, seriously. And I don’t mean that. I don’t mean that as a pejorative. I don’t mean to be mean. It’s just a fact. I’m not saying that they’re not necessarily bright people in other areas of their life, but when it comes to politics, when it comes to voting, when it comes to safeguarding their freedom, they’re dumb as all get out. And that’s what concerns me more than Mamdani. Mamdani supporters. Let’s go to the lines. Let’s go to Lucas. Lucas has been waiting patiently. Lucas is in Phoenix, Arizona. First of all, I just want to thank you for your enthusiasm for fighting for the Republican or the conservatives, okay? That’s the first thing I’d like to say. Thank you. The second thing is that, you know, this whole ballroom thing that I’ve been hearing about for a week now, whatever, the Democrats, they don’t like the idea that some contractor, okay, that he’s able to make all this happen and, you know, because they’re all lawyers in the Senate and the House, oh, they think they’re so small and they’re all smart. And I just hate the idea that the American people are falling into the Democrat you know, what they believe in because it’s just plain stupid what they believe in. So that’s all I want to say.

Well, thank you. Listen, I appreciate the call. I got to be honest with you. I don’t I don’t think they’re buying into it anymore. I think people have had it. Here’s the bottom line. I was thinking about this this morning. And frankly, I hate talking about this ballroom. I’m just I’m so over it. But sometimes, you know, it’s still in the news. Democrats are still trying to use it as a cudgel and it’s not working and it’s not going to work. And right now, Democrats are out there. Oh, man. You know, one of the first things that you need to be able to say in your campaign if you run for president as 2020 and 2028 on a Democratic ticket is you’re going to tear that ballroom down. They’re not going to tear that ballroom down. They are not going to tell that. OK, if they do, let me leave myself a window just in case. All right. But I would be shocked. Thank you for the call, Lucas. I would be absolutely, absolutely shocked if they tore that ballroom down. You know why? Just like Lucas said, he’s a builder too. These people don’t know how to build. All they know how to do is tear stuff down. Trump knows exactly what he’s doing. All right, I’m going to tear this down. I’m going to get the best stone. I’m going to get the best concrete. I’m going to do this. I’m going to do that. I’m going to fortify it, make sure it’s this way, safe, secure, so on, et cetera, elegant, all that. Do you think these people know how to come in and put that together? If somebody else on a Democratic ticket says, Imagine Gavin Newsom came in and then he bust that building down. He bust the new ballroom that’s going to be built. Imagine he bust it down. He wouldn’t be able to rebuild it. Look at what’s happening in the Pacific Palace 8. He wouldn’t know what to do. The guy wouldn’t have a clue. These people are not builders. They tear stuff down. Another race that we should be concerned about in Minneapolis is a guy by the name of Omar Fatah. You guys, I’m sure you guys have heard that. I believe I shared that information with you guys before. But these are now what they call progressive candidates. And we all know they’re regressive, but they’re running in different parts of the country. And obviously, they’re more blue areas, if you will. But nonetheless. This stuff is spreading. And you get a bunch of useful idiots that buy into this nonsense, that buy into all the fluff. They vote for this stuff only to hurt their part of the country. Then they run away from their policies. That’s another thing we have to be concerned about. They run away from their policies. They don’t realize why they’re running away from their policies. Oh, man, New York City has gotten so bad. It’s gotten so bad. Yeah, because of you, fool. I mean, you kept voting. You kept voting for policies that would destroy it. That’s why I’m like, OK, even when it comes to Andrew Cuomo, I really think I know I may be I may be a voice crying in the wilderness. I think Andrew Cuomo, first off, you can tell he doesn’t even want the job. He just wants to use it as a platform because he doesn’t want to give up on the idea of being able to run for president. But the guy is a horrible politician and he’s a horrible politician. You know why? Because he’s a Democrat. He’s never had to work for anything. The media has covered his tracks forever. I guarantee you, this guy runs for president. You know which way he’s running? You know which way he’s running, all you conservatives and Republicans that vote Cuomo? He’s going to run to the left in order to try to beat Gavin Newsom. Mark my words. We’ll be back.

These people are void of substance. So they have to. They’re unimpressive. Their policies are unimpressive and they’re unimpressive as people. And so joining me now, Roger P. Shulman is joining me. The Mike Gallagher Show Newsman. So, Roger, welcome to the program. Gavin Newsom, Roger, was on a podcast the other day with some former NBA players. He had a lot to say, and it seems like he was trying to lead the audience to believe that he grew up without money.

Well, he did. And he said his family was hustling to survive Carl while he was growing up. He said they had roommates all the time because his mom with three jobs couldn’t afford the rent, eating Wonder Bread and macaroni and cheese. But critics point out his dad was a lawyer with the billionaire. air getty family critics have circulated pictures of newsome wearing a plaid scarf and being voted most stylish in high school that doesn’t sound like a poor person and a picture of newsome posing along with andrew and billy getty and paul mohan which ran in the san francisco chronicle piece children of the rich

Man, this guy is so fake, Roger. Why do you think he felt as though he needed to lie about his upbringing? I realize that his mom and dad split. His mom worked three jobs. Maybe he went between two different worlds, but he certainly wasn’t impoverished. And frankly, Wonder Bread and macaroni and cheese is something that a lot of people hate growing up. I don’t know that that makes you poor.

I ate it. It wasn’t bad. I did all right. Now, it seems that fake stories, you know, fake accents. Remember Hillary Clinton and her fake accent and fake backstories are so prevalent on the left that they have nothing moral against telling the lie. Everybody just marches along between extreme wealth. and privilege. Gavin Newsom doing his blue collar act and Zohan Mondami faking tears over his family being the real victims of the 9-11 disaster. You can see how the future of the Democratic Party is. Communists lie like they breathe. Mondami said his auntie was nervous after 9-11 about riding the bus with her ajib. Turns out his aunt never wears the thing. It’s so fake and it’s just so ridiculous.

Yeah, it’s so astonishing to me. And I wish that people were listening to you, Roger, because what I don’t understand is how the voters constantly fall for these people. They don’t do any research. They can lie like this. I mean, turns out. that his aunt might not, she may have been, but she may not have been, if I recall correctly, in the United States, like she was living in Tanzania or something like that. And she wasn’t necessarily a Muslim woman. As a matter of fact, she spoke about things that kind of went against the Muslim faith, if I recall correctly.

Yes. And this is an interesting situation. A lot of women fall for Gavin Newsom because he’s pretty. And I got into a middle of a nasty argument at a eating place in Tampa last night. There were three women. Republican men, including me, and a young woman who thought Gavin Newsom was a wonderful leader and so handsome. She knows nothing about the guy, nothing about the disastrous fires and other things going on in California, the homeless situation there. She just thinks he’s wonderful. We all ended up getting into a nasty argument. She took an Uber home. The three of us all just walked out of the building after a very unpleasant evening. The polarization is really nasty. And then, of course, with the Super Bowl coming up with Bad Bunny, there’s just a lot of divide here going on. And a lot of it is based on lies.
SPEAKER 03 :
Man, Roger, listen, I know that you can be spunky. I hate that your night didn’t end. Didn’t end the way that you wanted to. But you’re right, man. It’s important that we stand up for truth. It’s sad. People will be swayed by people’s looks, by some of the things that they say, like Gavin Newsom not doing any investigation. The guy is one of the worst, if not the worst, governor in the entire United States of America. And he constantly gets a pass. And he seems like, I don’t know, that he might be on his way to becoming the Democrat nominee because I think it’s going to be hard to beat him. I really do.

Well, it is because, number one, he appeals to a lot of the females because he’s pretty, he’s tall, he speaks well, and people just don’t know about the situation. A majority of people in the United States don’t have a very high reading level. I was reading about 40% of people have a fourth-grade reading level, so they’re not doing that much research on this sort of thing, and it’s a… It’s a scary situation. We’re involved in it every day, but most people are just going about their lives and looking at the periphery.

All of these guys, whether it’s Gavin Newsom, Gavin Newsom going on to a podcast with these former black NBA players. And I’ve listened to the podcast a couple of times. I actually like it, but there’s no pushback when it comes to politicians. If you recall, that same podcast, I believe it’s called Up in Smoke, if I recall correctly, when Kamala Harris came on that podcast or went on that podcast, they were given talking points. They admitted that after she lost and basically told what they can’t ask. I’m not sure if that was the same with Gavin Newsom. May or may not have been. Normally it isn’t scripted in that way. But honestly, I just believe that these people are so unimpressive, both in policy and in person. I mean, the fact that going back to Gavin Newsom, think about what I said earlier. With Mitt Romney, I think one of the mistakes that Mitt Romney made during those debates with Obama when they were talking about his wealth and bashing him for his wealth. I mean, like, this is America, man. You come here to create opportunity for yourself, for your children, and so on, etc. And you shouldn’t be ashamed of that. These people with these third world mentalities, all the rich, you know, all this Marxism nonsense, bash the rich, bash the rich. If you made your money honestly, All right. So what? So what? And just deregulate deregulate to a point where other people can come up in America, too. I just don’t like when people try to shut the doors, shut the doors behind them. That’s what doesn’t make sense to me. But Gavin Newsom is thoroughly unimpressive when it comes to policy. And that’s why he has to sit there and lie and listen. I have no doubt. Listen, I think whether you have rich parents or poor parents, a kid that goes through a divorce, that’s going to be hard on the kid because you are going to live two different lifestyles, perhaps even morally different values from house to house. That happens oftentimes. His mother worked two and a half jobs, so perhaps he did see his mother working harder in that way than his father had to work. But Doesn’t mean he was impoverished. I don’t believe he was impoverished at all. But in order to try and impress people and especially blacks, I really think it’s condescending. I think it’s racist. I think he has to pretend like he’s somehow down with the struggle, like black people need to hear that he was poor to be able to vote for him. I don’t need to hear that you’re poor. I don’t need to hear that you’re rich. I need to hear what barriers you’re going to move out of my way so that I can do the best that I can to become wealthy, successful, and provide for my family and achieve the American dream in the way that I want. That’s all I want to hear from a politician. That’s it. Leave me alone. Freedom of religion. Freedom of speech. I want to be able to live in a capitalistic free market economy. We’re not there.
