And in doing so, it really is going after home ownership, I think. And home ownership has been a great way for people to create wealth for themselves, their families, to have a home. And this is an agenda by the World Economic Forum, is not owning your home. It plays directly into a quote from one of the officials at the World Economic Forum that by 2030, you will own nothing and be happy about it. So the people of Lakewood wanted to vote on it. And so from a strategic standpoint, what happened is the mayor and the city council and city manager and staff, when they realized that they were going to get pushback on this whole rezoning, they did the rezoning in four different meetings. So that that meant that those that wanted to get this to the ballot, that they had to do four different petitions One has to really ask, you know, what is the motivation there? And then this really goes against the Constitution where we have the right to redress our government. So anytime we are seeing the people are being stymied in addressing our government regarding things that they’re concerned about, we have to realize that that really is unconstitutional. And how did America happen where everyday people could thrive and prosper? Well, it was because of this vision from our Declaration that all men are created equal with these rights from God of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, and the Constitution was put in place to protect those individual rights. And the reason I went to that is we’re going to have Tina Peters attorney on as our featured guest and also the paralegal for Tina Peters, Linda Good. They’re going to be our featured guests in segments two, three, and four today. And I think that during this Christmas time, some mercy would be a really good idea to show to Tina Peters. and she is the former Mesa County clerk and recorder who was concerned about election records. And so we have to ask the bigger question, is… You know, why instead of, if in fact we have the gold standard, and I know that we don’t because we, all of you, we raised the money for our two lawsuits that are out there, one through Unite for Freedom, formerly United Sovereign Americans, that says that Colorado is not meeting the very, I want to say lax, but very low bar of on our elections and um it’s a constitutional it’s a civil rights issue and so that lawsuit is going back and forth and thank you to all of you who helped us get that into place and then peter bernager And with Wisconsin Center for Election Justice, we have proof, and that’s what our case is based on, that, and again, it was a very narrow group of voters, that 14,500 people voted in the 2024 election who should not have. And so there’s no way that that’s the gold standard. But when we’re stymied at many different places to really see what’s going on with our elections here in Colorado, one has to ask why. And I think that Tina Peters was trying to get to that answer, and she’s now in prison. And Donald Trump has asked that she get released or that she get moved to a federal facility. And we’ll talk more about that. But I think in segments two, three, and four, but I think some mercy would be a really good idea. Tina Peters probably hardly had a library fine. And here she is in prison for nine years. just trying to check our elections. And so mercy is a noun, it’s spelled M-E-R-C-Y. It could be one, compassionate treatment, especially of those under one’s power, clemency. Number two, a disposition to be kind and forgiving. An example would be a heart full of mercy. Number three, something for which to be thankful, a blessing. So it was a mercy that no one was hurt. So your challenge is to use the word mercy in a sentence today. And this is his citation. And we can take great, great inspiration from these citations. The Medal of Honor is the highest military award. that can be awarded, and it is awarded for those that took action to save lives. And we are in a great ideological battle now, and so we need to be stepping forward to save lives as well. And this is his citation. For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity and action at the risk of his life, above and beyond the call of duty, Sergeant Bykirch, Medical Aidman, Detachment B-24, Company B, distinguished himself during the defense of Camp Dok Sang. The Allied defenders suffered a number of casualties as a result of an intense, devastating attack launched by the enemy from well-concealed positions surrounding the camp. Sergeant Bykerch, with complete disregard for his personal safety, moved unhesitatingly through the withering enemy fire to his fallen comrades, applied first aid to their wounds, and assisted them to the medical aid station. When informed that a seriously injured American officer was lying in an exposed position, Sergeant Bykerch ran immediately through the hail of fire. Although he was wounded seriously by fragments from an exploding enemy mortar shell, Sergeant Bykerch carried the officer to a medical aid station. Ignoring his own serious injuries, Sergeant Bykerch left the relative safety of the medical bunker to search for and evacuate other men who had been injured. He was again wounded as he dragged a critically injured Vietnamese soldier to the medical bunker while simultaneously applying mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to sustain his life. Sergeant Bykirch again refused treatment and continued his search for other casualties until he collapsed. Only then did he permit himself to be treated. Sergeant Bykirch’s complete devotion to the welfare of his comrades at the risk of his life are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit on him, his unit, and the U.S. Army. And this is what he said. He said, to really live, you must almost die. To those who fight for it, life has a meaning the protected will never know. And that’s Gary B. He is the attorney for former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters and Linda Good, who is the paralegal for Tina Peters. So, John, welcome to the show.

Good to have you as well. And Linda, welcome. Good morning, Kim. And so pleased to have you both on the show. And on November 21st, which was a Friday, which was the Friday right before Thanksgiving week, the Colorado County Clerks Association issued a letter that said that they are asking to not transfer former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters to federal custody. and we’ll talk a little bit about that but before we get into that i did invite the executive director of the colorado county clerks association on to be as well or on the show as well because i thought it would be good to get his perspective he declined and i would like to read his statement he said hi kim my apologies for the delay in responding thank you for the invitation to come on your show At this point, I don’t have anything further to add to the conversation after our letter and my interview on 710 KNUS. If that should change, I will let you know. I hope all is well. Best, Matt. Okay, so John Case, let’s set this up. I know that many people know the name Tina Peters, but I don’t think they really understand what’s going on. So set this up for us.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so what’s going on is a press campaign against Tina Peters that began about two weeks ago. And everybody’s joining in. The Denver Post, the Denver Gazette, the Colorado Clerks Association, the Mesa County District Attorney, the Colorado Attorney General, the Colorado Secretary of State. They’re all demanding that Governor Polis showed no leniency to Tina Peters. Why is this suddenly occurring? Well, your listeners will be perhaps shocked by some of the evidence that is now coming out from Venezuelan whistleblowers, which shows that our elections are being controlled by these electronic computer voting systems. There are three Venezuelan whistleblowers who were involved in rigging elections in Venezuela who have published statements concerning how elections were rigged in Venezuela and how they are now being rigged in the United States through these electronic voting systems. Here’s what the whistleblowers have testified to.
SPEAKER 20 :
And is that under oath? They’ve testified under oath, John Case?
SPEAKER 08 :
Two of them have testified under oath, and the most recent one, which was just published yesterday, was a letter to President Trump from a former Venezuelan general who was part of the election rigging and drug running in Venezuela. Okay. So you can find all these statements on TinaPeters.us. But here, in summary, is what they say. In 2013, Venezuela held an election to replace Hugo Chavez because he was terminally ill with cancer. So the government nominated Nicolas Maduro. By 10 a.m. on election day, Maduro was losing by a million votes. These whistleblowers were present in the Situation Room when the order was given to inject 1.2 million fraudulent votes into the computer voting system. After that, Maduro won the 2013 election, and he’s still in power today because of the rigged voting system. So how does this connect with Colorado? So this is what the Venezuelan whistleblowers tell us. In 2003, Hugo Chavez signed a contract with a company called Smartmatic. to develop software that would guarantee that Chavez would always win. The Smartmatic software kept Chavez in power. In 2005, Smartmatic acquired a U.S. company named Sequoia. Sequoia was running elections in states including Colorado. When Smartmatic bought Sequoia, it transferred its election rigging software to Sequoia. Then Dominion Voting Systems, a Toronto company, bought Sequoia from Smartmatic in 2010. By purchasing Sequoia, Dominion acquired the software that Smartmatic used to rig elections in Venezuela. And by that time, other countries, the total number of countries that run Smartmatic elections is now 72. And that includes elections in the U.S., A variation of the Smartmatic software is used today in 60 counties in Colorado, including Mesa County, Denver, and El Paso. Some of the same software engineers that work for Smartmatic in Venezuela began working for Dominion in the US. One of the engineers designed a software program called Man in the Middle that enables a third party to electronically enter a county voting system without being detected change the outcome of an election, and then leave, all without being detected. And this is what the Venezuelan whistleblowers testified to. Again, you can read their testimony at tinapeters.us. Here’s a startling fact that came out on Monday of this week through a journalist named Emerald Robinson. People ask, if the elections are rigged, then how did Trump win in 2024? And the answer is, is this. The U.S. military prevented fraud in the 2024 election by disabling the Dominion servers in Belgrade, Serbia, just before Election Day 2024. This action prevented fraudulent votes from being inserted electronically into the 2024 election. And you can find a link to the Emerald Robinson story at tinapeters.us. So that kind of sets the background for why Tina’s case is so important and why the liberal media is now teaming up to condemn her publicly.
SPEAKER 20 :
Not only the liberal media. There’s some that you would consider center-right on that list as well, John Case.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s true.
SPEAKER 20 :
So a couple of things that I just wanted from what I hear. First of all, these Venezuelan whistleblowers have testified to this, two of the three under oath. So I think that that’s very important to recognize. Secondly, you’re saying that 72 countries are using this same software for their elections. Did I hear that correctly?
SPEAKER 09 :
Correct. Correct.
SPEAKER 20 :
And it never makes any sense to centralize anything, because once you have things centralized, that is when it’s much easier to do funny stuff. And you said 60 of the 64 counties in Colorado are using this as well. Did I get that correct, John?
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes, that’s correct. Dominion software is a variation of the original Smartmatic software.
SPEAKER 20 :
Okay. So then the other thing is, and we’re going to get over here to this Colorado County Clerks Association letter, which I mentioned was published on Friday, November 21st. And Linda, I think the county clerks… First of all, I look at this letter and I don’t see any mercy whatsoever, which is very troubling to me. Here we have Tina Peters. She’s 70 years old. She’s in prison with a nine year prison term. And yet in Colorado, we had legislation that was passed with basically that says if someone is now I’m losing the word you can maybe can help me incompetent. I think that’s it. If they’re incompetent and they have committed a crime. In fact, I had the victims of two people that had these victims. People were released because they were deemed incompetent. They were criminals. And in fact, two different deaths occurred because these people were put back on the streets. So that happened in Colorado. But yet Tina Peters, who maybe has a library fine before all this, is languishing in Colorado prison. Do I get that right, Linda Good?
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, yes, you do. And what I find really disturbing is that our county clerks can’t take a minute to have any compassion or understanding of what circumstances Tina is living in, in this prison, because Colorado doesn’t have minimum security prisons for women. So she’s in general population with murderers and violent crimes and drug addicts and, um, Peter Tickton, her attorney, exposed the other day on a show that one of her roommates was in for dismembering a body. So these are the type of people that Tina is being housed with. She’s not in a minimum security holiday in spa type of a prison. She is in there. She’s getting threats on her life and her safety. And so I’m disturbed that our county clerks can’t have any compassion for her situation. They’re just thrilled that she’s out of the way and not able to speak, and they aren’t giving any consideration to what she’s actually living under. Matt Crane on the 710 show that he just mentioned, one of the things that he was asked was, well, because he was saying that he didn’t believe she should be transferred, right? And so Jeff asked him, well, what if would you have a problem if the governor gave her a compassionate release? And he says, quote, if she was dying and the governor said that, you know, was to let her out so she could die at home, no, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. So he’s okay if she’s in there and she can come out to die at home. That’s the only time he’s okay with her coming out.
SPEAKER 20 :
So, and we’re talking about some compassion and mercy. This letter, which I haven’t, and John, I think you said people can read this. Is this letter at tinapeters.us as well?
SPEAKER 08 :
I don’t know that.
SPEAKER 20 :
Okay. We’ll talk about that then afterwards, and I’m sure we can get access to that. So… The county clerks, Linda Good, this is one of the first quotes here. It says, Colorado’s clerks, Republicans, Democrats, and unaffiliated have spent decades building one of the most accessible, secure, and transparent election systems in the nation. Now, I would take issue with that because we have two lawsuits that we have filed that say otherwise. And so I think that one of the first things is on this is, is I think everyday people, I think moderate Democrats and unaffiliated and Republicans and libertarians and conservatives, we all want. free, fair, honest, and transparent elections. And what I see is happening with this letter is it really is coming down to a freedom of speech issue. The bottom line on the letter is that they do not want to let her out because they do not want her to be able to speak. And quite frankly, if we cannot kick the tires on ideas or on issues, if we just shut down speech, That’s of real concern. And my next thing is, if we can’t talk about it, then what are you hiding? That seems to be one of the questions there. So I think, let’s go to break. Let’s leave that as our cliffhanger. And we’re addressing this County Clerks Association letter that was sent to Governor Polis to basically say, no mercy, no compassion, because we don’t want to hear what she has to say. And these are such important discussions, and they happen because we have great sponsors.

Case, who is the attorney for Tina Peters, former Mesa County clerk and recorder, who is languishing right now in the La Vista facility, the prison in Pueblo. And Linda Good, the paralegal for the case as well. And what this county clerk, so what has happened now is there’s been a request for Tina to be moved from a Colorado facility to a federal facility. And as John Kay said, there’s this whole press campaign from publications, people on the left, people on the center right that are requesting that she stay in this facility with very hardened criminals. And they’re requesting no mercy, no compassion. And it sure seems like in this Christmas season, a little mercy, a little compassion can go a long way by allowing her to be moved to a different facility. But, John, in case you mentioned these Venezuelan whistleblowers who have testified under oath regarding these tabulating machines, and… One has to ask, you know, why are there those out there that are so adamant in shutting down her voice? Because that’s really the bottom line of this Colorado County Clerks Association. And because they basically have said that they… are concerned that if she were out, they are concerned about, this is from the letter, harassment, intimidation, and threats to county clerks and their children. They said that that has already occurred, some credible enough to involve law enforcement. My first question is to make that clear. assertion, it seems like there should have been some kind of a police report. Actually, I’ll throw that over to you, Linda. It seems like there should have been a police report, and in a police report, it would say if it was because of something Tina Peters did, or there might be other things going on. Right, Linda?
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s right. I have yet to see any police reports to confirm that the clerks are getting threats. I’m not suggesting that they’re making it up, but what I have observed is that They’re acting on fear and total emotion when they’re making this cry to violate Tina’s constitutional right for free speech. They’re afraid, and they have been whipped up into this emotion of frenzy, frenzy of emotion, to blame Tina for the threats, that she is the reason for these threats, which is absurd because Tina has never, ever said, advocated for violence. As a matter of fact, she has spoken out against it. When the judge who convicted her or sentenced her was getting threats, she came out and posted on Twitter In October of 24, this is what it says. The former Mesa County Clerk Peters has never advocated violence in any form. Clerk Peters condemns the use of violence or threats against anyone on either side of the debate over making our voting system transparent. She requests that the sheriff’s investigations be made public. So this is… This is the voice of Tina, and yet you’ve got Matt Crane on the shows and in this letter essentially saying that it’s a fact that if Tina is allowed to speak, that the clerks will continue to get more threats. He has connected them and states empirically that it’s a fact when there is no evidence of that, and the public has yet to see the evidence of threats against the clerks. I… I’ll stand here and say it again. I would condemn any threats against the clerks or anybody. I don’t think violence is ever the solution. But they are stating as fact something that is not true.
SPEAKER 20 :
Well, and another thing I want to talk about the clerks is you mentioned that I think they have a weekly meeting. So they talk about these things. And I think the clerks. As far as Colorado law, and that’s a whole other discussion, because from what I can see, Colorado law really is tying the clerk’s hands on things that they can do to confirm that their election in their county, which they are elected to. by the people to conduct free, fair, honest, and transparent elections. And I see that there’s been laws, regulations put in place that really tie their hands. But within those constraints, John Case, I think the clerks are doing what they are told to do, and crossing the T’s, dotting the I’s, and then they are told that if they do that, by, I think, the Colorado County Clerks Association and the Secretary of State, then the election is the gold standard. That seems to be what I have seen over the years as I’ve started to pay attention to this. What’s your thoughts on that, John?
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I think the clerks have been completely intimidated by Tina’s sentence of nine years. The reason Colorado officials want Tina Peters to serve nine years in prison is because Colorado uses a variation of the Smartmatic computer software that was used to rig elections in Venezuela. And the people who allowed this to happen want Tina kept in state prison, where she can’t testify or speak publicly. At the time of sentencing, the judge said this to Tina. Quote, this is what makes Mrs. Peters such a danger to our community. It’s the position she has held that has provided her the pulpit from which she can preach these lies, the undermining of our democratic process, the undermining of the belief and confidence in our election systems. Prison is for those folks where we send people who are a danger to all of us, whether it be by the pen or the sword or the word of the mouth. End quote. So she was put in prison because of what she said about the voting system, which is illegal under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
SPEAKER 20 :
It seems to me, John Case, that if in fact what Tina has talked about, her concern regarding the election, these tabulating machines, it seems like instead of putting her in prison and shutting down her voice, that what these officials should do is prove to us that she’s incorrect. Right? Right. Well…
SPEAKER 08 :
I’m not sure I understand your statement.
SPEAKER 20 :
Well, what I want to say is if, in fact, that the tabulating machines are not being manipulated, instead of throwing her in prison, it seems like they should prove to us that that is not the case.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, they can’t prove it. That’s why they’ve never allowed any examination of these machines And that’s why they prosecuted Tina when she had a consultant make a legal image of the Mesa County election management server and preserve it because that server contained the records of the 2020 election. And they were just beside themselves with panic. because they thought they had erased every copy of the 2020 election when they did their so-called trusted build in May of 2021. The trusted build should be called the wipe, because what happens is the Secretary of State comes in and they erase everything on the hard drive, and then they install new software. So all of the records from the previous election are gone. And that violates federal law. And Tina followed federal law when she preserved her election records in Mesa County. And she wasn’t allowed to present that defense trial. And she was sentenced because of what she said about the voting machines.
SPEAKER 20 :
so what she what my understanding john is what she was convicted of was um she had to use an unorthodox way to she knew that and she’s got this rub she’s got colorado law over here that says clerks can’t take a look at the voting machine or make records is that right am i getting that right
SPEAKER 08 :
No, the law at the time allowed her to make a legal copy and to hire a consultant to do this. The law at the time did not prohibit her from hiring a consultant to make a forensic image of the voting records. That image was completely legal. And the state keeps claiming that this consultant was unauthorized. That is also incorrect. Tina had the power as the County clerk. She had the authority to authorize anyone to accompany her into the room where the voting system computers are stored. So she authorized this person. There was a specific rule of the secretary of state that allowed her to do that. So he was not an authorized. She authorized him to be there. What they convicted her of was she, uh, introduced him. as Gerald Wood when his real name was Conan Hayes. And she did that because Conan Hayes had worked for the FBI and taken down a child trafficking Internet business, and the cartels were hunting for Conan Hayes. So he insisted, and Tina promised him, that she would not disclose his identity again. because he was wanted by the cartels. So that is why the surveillance cameras were turned off when Conan Hayes was present, was to protect his identity. And it was not illegal to turn off the cameras. They were not required to be on. So no crime was committed by turning off the cameras. No crime was committed by having Conan Hayes in the room. No crime was committed by having him make an image that turned out it revealed weaknesses, susceptibilities in the voting system in Mesa County. And so none of these acts were illegal. The felony convictions all come from the misrepresentation of Conan Hayes’ identity as Gerald Wood. And Gerald Wood… volunteered to allow conan hayes to use his key card and his name gerald wood agreed with that from the very beginning so uh we maintained tina was innocent she wasn’t allowed to present her defense that she was following federal law when she did these things and preserved the records so um So that’s our side of the story, which the jury was never allowed to hear.

Okay, so we’re going to continue. This is a very important discussion. We’re talking with Tina Peters’ attorney, John Case, and Tina Peters, the paralegal on the case, Linda Good. And it is so interesting. This is all back in the news over the last two weeks. And as you know, we want to search for truth and clarity here at the show. And welcome back to the Kim Monson Show. We are talking with John M. Case, who is the attorney for Tina Peters, former Mesa County clerk and recorder who is languishing in a Colorado prison. And the paralegal on the case is Linda Good. John, my understanding is that Tina wants to appeal her case and was asking to be released from prison during this appeal. Do I have that correct?
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes. She asked for bond pending appeal, and the trial judge denied it because of her speech, because of what she was saying. He said that what she was saying about the voting system made her a danger to the community, so he would not release her on bond while her appeal was pending because of what she was saying. So we then filed a request for bond in the Colorado Court of Appeals, and they denied it without saying why. So the only reason that’s ever been given for denying her bond on appeal is is her speech. We then filed a habeas corpus proceeding in U.S. District Court in Denver asking for Bond on appeal because of the violation of her First Amendment rights. That case was filed in February of 2025. It’s been pending for 10 months. It’s fully briefed. On October 16th, the magistrate judge said that he would rule promptly on her request for her release on Bond. And today, 49 days later, nothing, no ruling. So she continues to languish in prison. And people want to know, how’s Tina doing? So I visited her yesterday, as I do almost every week. If I don’t go, then Linda goes to see Tina. And her health has declined dramatically. You would not recognize Tina as the outgoing, attractive woman you used to know. Her skin is pale instead of its usual pink. Her face is stressed. Her sleep is interrupted by constant pain in her neck, back, and hips. Her bed is a steel slab with two inches of foam on top, which is very uncomfortable. She asked for a thick mattress like some other inmates have, but the prison refused. There’s black mold in the building. She’s been coughing since August but has received no treatment for the cough. She fears that her lung cancer has returned or that mold has infected her lungs. She has not been allowed to see an oncologist or receive the PET CT scan of her chest that is necessary to diagnose her condition. And her cognitive function is noticeably worse. She has difficulty finding words and she repeats herself. She feels that she’s being singled out because of the pressure on on Governor Polis about her case, and it’s coming down the chain and being pressures being applied to her. For example, yesterday after I left. And we’re we’re supervised constantly when I’m there. I mean, there’s a there’s a corrections officer on the other side of the glass who’s watching us while we talk. So we’re supervised constantly. And after I left, they singled Tina out and gave her a urinalysis as if, you know, I might have given her drugs when I came in. And Tina never uses drugs. She hates drugs. So she’s in bad shape. And for the sake of justice, she ought to be released on bond while her appeal is pending or transferred to federal custody where she’ll get fair treatment.
SPEAKER 20 :
Wow. And so that’s really the issue here. And so the fact that the executive director, Matt Crane of the County Clerks Association, this letter that they sent, and Linda Good, we addressed this, is they’re basing not moving her because of what she might say. because they say that clerks have had some harassment, intimidation, and threats, some credible enough to involve law enforcement. Well, we don’t want any violence, that is for sure. And that’s what we do here at the show is we engage in the battle of ideas. But this is what they say. This is from the letter. It says, narratives that have already endangered clerks throughout Colorado and across the country I’m not quite sure how you can make that that connection between her speech and threats again against clerks and and certainly we do not want any threats against clerks and but to connect the dot that if there are some that it is because of Tina That needs to be proven, I think. And the other thing is, I just don’t understand, Linda Good, where is the mercy? Where is the compassion for her to not even let her be out on bond while she’s appealing her case? It’s a head-scratcher to me, Linda Good.
SPEAKER 06 :
I agree. And what we’re seeing is we have Matt Crane, whose wife worked for Sequoia and Dominion for almost two decades. Is she still working for them? No, I think she works for a different vendor now. So he’s the leader of this NGO, the Colorado Quirks Association, and he’s encouraging our elected officials to violate their oath by saying, kind of colluding to violate Tina’s right of free speech. So he’s leading the pack and encouraging these clerks to have no mercy and to only focus on their fear and misdirect it towards Tina. with no proof that there is a connection. There are many people who believe we should have a different election style that have no idea who Tina Peters is. Or you also have to understand the county clerks do a lot more than just elections. They also run some of the DMV, all sorts of issues, right? They do recording and they their only responsibility is not election so how do we know that these threats these mythical threats are even election related we don’t know that um that would be my point but yes there’s no mercy for tina and there’s no consideration for where she’s Her actual environment, I really feel, and they’ve made it plain in this letter, they are just pleased as punch that she is out of their way, and they aren’t considering at all what circumstances she is living through to get her out of the way and get her voice silenced.
SPEAKER 20 :
Okay, and so with that, there was one clerk, Rhonda Braun, who is the Elbert County Clerk and Recorder, issued a letter December 1 and said, I want to clarify my position objecting to the Colorado County Clerk’s letter to Governor Polis. This is not a change in my stance regarding First Amendment rights, nor is it my intent to cause division. I fully support county clerks, and I agree they work with professionalism, accuracy, and integrity, even under tremendous pressure. I fully condemn any threats to election professionals or their families and those that threaten election officials should be held responsible. But with that letter, call to action, among other things, it called for election deniers to be treated. Oh, a letter in 2023 called for election deniers, and this was from the Colorado County Clerks Association, to be treated with contempt and disdain. She said, I objected to that call. And she said, I cannot… stand behind the call to deny the federal request on the basis of what Ms. Peters may say. Concerns in the letter to Governor Polis include Ms. Peters would continue disseminating the same false narratives. She says, I believe that she basically says, I would never minimize the threats to election officials, but I question credible threats. and the request from the Colorado County Clerk sends a message that those that question elections should be punished and silenced. I think this was very brave of Ron DeBron to issue this, and we’re just about out of time. John Case, so John, your final thought on this whole issue.

Okay, so thank you for having us on. What will happen if we continue to use computer voting machines? So the U.S. military prevented fraud in 2024 by taking out the Serbian servers, but they can be moved and relocated to another place, and the same scam can be run on us. So we need to return to in-person voting with ID on election day in our precincts, and hand count the ballots. That was in the Republican platform for the state of Colorado in 2022. The state never adopted it. They want to continue to use machines where fraud can be committed. Go ahead.

So really important. And regarding that hour, this came in from Susan. And the crux of all of this is what started this was a letter that was issued by the Colorado County Clerks Association basically saying to Governor Polis, there’s been a request to move Tina from this particular Colorado prison to a federal prison because this particular prison has everybody there, very hardened criminals, and that is who Tina is with. And she basically, from what I understand from what John said, was the crime that she was convicted on was that they basically said said somebody was somebody else. But they did that in order to make images of the records of the tabulating machines before the trusted bill that the Colorado Secretary of State instituted. And I remember I was up at one of our topics and topics groups up in Larimer County. uh shortly before this whole trusted build and they had invited the larimer county clerk and recorder so i was sitting right next to her and she said oh yes we’re going to be having a trusted build and i want to i want to say it was like it was in the autumn i want to say october be right before the election and i thought to myself i thought huh that is a little odd and so that’s where this whole thing is is tina they she took images of the before and the after And that seems to be like the issue that we, all of us, regular Coloradans, are moderate Democrats and Republicans and unaffiliated and libertarians and conservatives. That seems like that would be the issue that we would want to find out is was there a difference in the before and the after? And actually, there are Mesa County reports on this that you can access those at TinaPeters.us as well. And if you want to help her, you can contribute there. That will help with her legal costs as well as she will be able to have some funds that she can buy other things at the commissary there in the prison. But I really would call on Governor Polis to have some mercy and to have some compassion in this particular issue and release her to this federal facility. And I would really that seems like during the Christmas season that that would be a really good. Great thing to do. And Susan had said this, now I can’t remember if I told you this or not, it got so many, and I want to hear from you on the text line, 720-605-0647. She said, you cannot jail people for speech based on what other people might do. And I think Susan really nails that. And that’s why freedom of speech is in our Constitution. In the Bill of Rights, it’s the first thing. And so if we have those that are wanting to shut down speech, we have to ask why. I think that’s the big question is why. And the next thing is we cannot live in a society where people’s speech is shut down. And Charlie Kirk’s speech was shut down. If you don’t like what somebody has to say, engage in the battle of ideas. Explain it. And that’s what we do on the show on a regular basis. Our word of the day, I went to the word mercy, because it sure seems like during this Christmas season, some mercy by Governor Polis and allowing Tina Peters to be transferred to this federal facility sure would be a nice thing to do. It would be a kind thing to do. The radical left always talks about being kind. Well, this would be a very kind thing to do, is to allow Tina Peters to be moved to a different facility. And so our word of the day is mercy. It’s M-E-R-C-Y. It could be one, compassionate treatment, especially of those under one’s power, clemency. Number two, a disposition to be kind and forgiving. And number three, something to be thankful for, a blessing, such as it was a mercy that no one was hurt. But I really would call on Governor Polis to have some mercy, to have some compassion, to have some kindness. And I would really encourage all of us to realize that when freedom of speech is that there are those advocating to shut down speech, we have to really ask why and we have to dig deeper. Now, I know there are those that have said that Tina Peters committed a crime and that she was convicted. And that is true. The other thing, though, that is important to note, and John alluded to this, is much of her defense was not allowed to be presented in the court. And I think I’ve been somewhat naive. I’ve always thought, well, both sides get to present their complete side of the issue. But that’s not the case. That’s not the way it works in our judiciary. And so there were many things that were not allowed as evidence. And so that means that the decisions were made without all of the information. But regardless of that, I know that it was a bent avant-garde on what happened there as they were trying to get those records. And we are a law-abiding society, yes. But we want to make sure all of our laws are always adhering to our Constitution. And we’ve got a whole bunch of laws that are not because we have people that have been elected that put in laws that are not constitutional. So that connects the dot back to our elections. We want to make sure that we have free, fair, honest, and transparent elections. But even our founding… There were things that occurred that were very avant-garde. For example, the Sons of Liberty that got on a British ship and tossed tea over the side of the boat. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t legal. but that was necessary for freedom and so i think that we need to look at the big picture on all of this as well so we’ve been talking about the first amendment the second amendment is put in place to protect all of the other amendments and on the line with me is teddy collins with a spark defense and alicia garcia also with a spark defense and uh concealed carry of denver as well alicia does a lot of great and that would be a great gift But it’s so important that we protect the Second Amendment, but that’s been under attack by a thousand cuts, particularly here in Colorado. It was pretty crazy. We had people started to camp it out Thanksgiving at about 4 p.m. We had a couple hundred people in line before open at 4 a.m. and opened the doors at 8, and it was a great time. I mean, everybody showed up, and thankfully we had that kind of support from the local community. We really appreciate all of you that did turn out, and, yeah, we’re very blessed.
SPEAKER 20 :

And I’ll never forget that, that my dad said, you know, I need you to love yourself enough that you are doing everything you can to make sure that you grow old and you protect that vitality in your life. And nothing is more important than your ability to thrive, right? Like in this time, when we look at such capitalism and so many things that are going on. And I’m not saying it’s not wonderful to celebrate things and to give each other gifts and do that. But the most important gift that you can give somebody is longevity, right? And safety. And just teaching them the value of valuing themselves enough to want to stay alive. He is a retired border agent from the San Diego sector. And there’s so much I want to talk with him about. Welcome, Chris. We’ve got a lot happening in our world right now.

We sure do, Kim. And as always, thank you for having me on your show. I very much appreciate being able to talk to your listeners.
SPEAKER 20 :
Well, and I wanted to start off with talking about crime in these blue cities. And specifically over the Thanksgiving holiday, the Loop in Chicago used to be a place. I haven’t been to Chicago for a long time. But it used to be a place of shopping, high-end shopping, pretty cool place to be. But there was a shooting there. on, let’s see, it was, well, it was just recently, and this article is coming from CBS News. The title on it is, Mayor Johnson calls loop shootings that killed one teen wounded eight a setback for Chicago. Well, I guess I could agree with him on that, but Chicago is crime-ridden, as many of these blue cities are, and what’s your thoughts about that?
SPEAKER 10 :
So, you know, my background was, as you said, was a retired Border Patrol agent. But before that, I spent a total of 36 years as a sworn law enforcement officer at the state, local, and federal level in New York and California. I was a cop in New York State. The thing is, especially with my Border Patrol expertise on border security and all that, it ties together. So we knew what the National Border Patrol Council, the union for Border Patrol agents, which I was an official of, We knew what it took to secure the border, and we weren’t allowed to do it. But we knew specifically the things we needed to do to secure the border. And whatever you think of this administration, on border security, it’s 100% win. It’s the best it’s probably ever been. We were allowed to articulate what we needed, and we were allowed to follow through on that, and we did. And so we have, for all intents and purposes, secured the border. I mean, it’s a never-ending process. But we have. The numbers have gone down staggering from millions a year to, you know, just tens of thousands. It’s just an incredible drop. So it shows that if you know what you’re doing and you have a game plan and you’re allowed to execute that game plan, you can get it done. So in law enforcement, we knew what it took to protect the citizenry as a whole. We can’t protect every single citizen every single second of the day. Otherwise, you’d have a police nanny state and nobody really wants that or shouldn’t want that. So we saw New York City, you know, I was a cop at the time. We saw what happened when Mayor Giuliani came in and gave his various police commissioners, including Bratton, the go ahead to execute the plans that they had figured out. And they were based on a few things, how to secure the city, how to make it safe. And I saw that city go from being pretty bad to being fantastic, where people were walking Central Park at one in the morning without a care in the world. And now we’ve seen it go regress again into, you know, a lot of crime, a lot of danger, a lot of being just unsafe for the general populace. We see more and more people just being randomly attacked by people for no apparent reason. They’re not even trying to rob them half the time anymore. They’re just throwing them in front of subway trains. They’re just knocking to the ground. They’re assaulting them. They’re setting them on fire in different places. I think you just had that in Chicago. It’s, Several things happen to allow that, but we know what can fix that, Kim. And one of those things is we have to stop electing, particularly George Soros supported district attorneys who felt that it’s always the system that’s wrong, never no individual culpability. And we got away from the whole broken window theory of policing, the community theory of policing, the holding people responsible. But what really we got away from was putting people in prison that were recidivists. They found out that the recidivists, if you get rid of like 10% of the people that are commuting crimes, you take out about 80% of the actual crime going on. And what we’re doing is we’re not doing that anymore because these prosecutors and judges too that have been elected or appointed are not doing that. When you have somebody that’s got 72 arrests out and he’s able to attack someone, There’s something shamefully wrong with that system in that area. And that’s what needs to be addressed. And it has nothing to do with race, creed, color, ideology. People want safety and they want security and they want their kids to be safe. And that crosses all boundaries. And for whatever reason, I have my thoughts on that, but that’s more opinions than fact. But for whatever reason, George Soros and others have backed a large amount, a lot larger than people realize, district attorneys in major cities. across the country who have fully embraced that whole cashless bail, just, you know, nobody goes to jail. I guess I have to put it that way. Nobody goes to jail because somehow that’s a bad thing. And yet then innocent people are suffering for that. You know, the U.S. government is affecting some change by removing criminal aliens, which is fantastic. Everybody that’s not here that’s a criminal can’t commit a crime. But there’s a lot of things we need to do, Kim, in these cities, including Denver, where we see some of these practices being played out.
SPEAKER 20 :
Well, and I reported on this earlier in the week, and this is a different report from Orkin, the pest control company. But this was their 2024 report. And the top 10 cities for the number of rats, this is the rodent, is number one, Chicago, two, Los Angeles, three, New York, then San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Denver, Philadelphia, Detroit, Baltimore, and Cleveland. And those are all cities that are, I would say, probably high in crime. They also obviously are, well, they’re dirty because they have all these rats. And these beautiful cities, I remember when you would talk about these cities and think, oh, my gosh, San Francisco used to be such a beautiful city. Denver used to be such a beautiful city. Now they’re dirty and dangerous and they’re… declining, and it’s because of PBIs, politicians, bureaucrats, interested parties. Your DAs are going to fall into that as well. And one has to ask, and again, I know this is subjective, you mentioned Soros, and these cities are devolving into chaos, destruction, death. What’s the opposite of those things? Order? creation, and life. What do you think most people want? Do they want chaos, destruction, and death in their cities? Or do they want order and creativity and life? That’s really, I think, the question on the table, Chris Harris.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, so here’s one of the things that scares me, though. You were absolutely correct. Most normal people are going to choose that. You know, my wife calls it color and music and love. Most people are going to choose that. But I’m a little bit of feared that some of the younger generation and I don’t want to do this all the younger generation, but some of them. through schooling and through media and social media, have a condition to accept this as the norm, that stepping over human feces on the streets, having to walk out in the street because there’s 10 belligerent homeless sprawled out on the sidewalk blocking it, the possibility of crime. I think they’ve been conditioned that it’s cool to accept this. This is the norm. And look at me. We’re so cool. We’re so gritty. I live in this city, and it’s this and that. Look at me. And I can tell you some anecdotal evidence. There was a case up towards San Francisco. We were driving through the area to a speaking engagement I was doing up in Alameda County. And the radio station was talking about it, touched on it briefly. There was a janitor working at a college who was here illegally, and he had raped a young woman employee there. I don’t know if she was an intern or a post-grad, whatever. But she didn’t want to report it because she didn’t want to be the cause of the guy being deported. And luckily, some people that she knew convinced her that, you know, if you don’t report it, this guy is going to do it again. And then it’ll be on you if another girl gets raped. But that’s the kind of mindset that I’m a little bit, like I said, afeard of, that she’s somehow been conditioned that she should keep her mouth shut, that a man had the effrontery to rape her, but she should keep her mouth shut so he didn’t get deported. And I see this with some group, some subsets of youth in these cities who this is the norm. You know, this is the way it’s always been. This is the way it always will be. You know, I’m tough. I can handle it. Meanwhile, they don’t remember how beautiful these cities were. My wife and I don’t go to San Francisco anymore. We loved it. We’ll go to Monterey instead. I don’t take it to New York City too much anymore. Again, I think they’ve been inculcated to believe that this is the way it should be. This is the norm. And I’m going to go along with the program because all my friends, they go along with it. But we need to break through to them and say, this is not the way your city once was. This is not the way the city has to be. And to your point with the rats, the dirty little secret here in San Diego is we went from kind of a slightly right of center leadership in the last couple of years to full on progressives on the city council and the mayor. A lot of restaurants are closing or having issues because of vermin. And that’s because you have homeless everywhere. I don’t know where the environmentalists are when the homeless leave just masses of garbage and feces and other things on the ground and in the river bottoms. So this is causing an uptick in San Diego, too, of a rat population. And the restaurants are going crazy because they get hit by the health inspectors and, you know, they get their licenses suspended for a while. And so there was one restaurateur in Coronado, which is a beautiful area, and he’s like 50 years going out of business. He says, I can’t do this anymore. I just can’t handle the vermin problem. They’re everywhere. So it all ties together. But, yeah, you do see the slow unraveling, if not outright destruction, of some of our beautiful cities and what they once were and what they once aspired to be and what the people that lived in them expected them to be. And now there just seems to be very low expectations from, unfortunately, it seems to be blue leadership that they just have to say a few things and people just go, okay, this is the way it is, and moving on. And they vote for things. They complain about it. They’ve had a young woman in New York City, NYU student, and I’m going to guess that she’s probably slightly left the center. She got assaulted and she said, this isn’t right. And she said, we have to think about who we’re voting for. Well, maybe a little too late because you guys elected Mom Donnie. So I think people really, really have to dig down and say, yeah, I hear these platitudes. Or if we vote this way, oh, somehow I’m a Nazi or I’m a fascist or whatever. No, maybe you’re just voting to restore your city and bring back some dignity to it and bring back safety. Public safety is the number one thing that the government should be involved with. And that’s about what we need to do.

He’s a frequent guest on the show, 97 years young. He just has so much life experience and perspective. And there’s been this whole, all these headlines about the military Trump and Hegseth’s military boat strikes on these Venezuelan drug runners. And so there’s a lot out there about that. And Colonel Rutledge said that as we’re talking about this issue, it’s important to really think about the thousands and thousands of lives that have been lost, American lives that have been lost because of the drugs coming across the border. So what’s your thoughts on that?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, that kind of keeps it in my wheelhouse. I generally try to remain in my wheelhouse so people hopefully know I know what I’m talking about. But, you know, obviously in law enforcement and particularly in the Border Patrol, we dealt with people that were smuggling narcotics, fentanyl, opioids, all that kind of thing. And seeing the death toll that it brought to this country was staggering. Yet people just don’t seem to want to talk about that. And I think, unfortunately, even in some of my circles of more left of center or liberal friends, The theory is that, oh, it’s a drug dealer that OD’d. The problem is that, first of all, that’s a human being no matter what. But secondly, that’s not really the case. A lot of these people that are dying, these are your neighbors. These are kids in school who bought some what they thought was drugs for ADHD to help them study, to cram. These are your neighbors who are maybe in their 50s and 60s who, you know, they bought some marijuana from somebody, not a distribution center, a dispensary, and unfortunately was laced with fentanyl. These are people that bought something else thinking it was something else. These are people that are dying from it, too. And again, nobody should be dying from it, period. But this is what it’s created. The havoc it’s created in our country is hundreds of thousands of people have died over the last few years from narcotics overdoses. And not even to get into this lost productivity and the bad decisions that happen if you get addicted to drugs, the wreck of families, the loss of money in our society. And understand this, a lot of these nation states that are behind this or help support it, They’d hate us. They’d like to see the United States unravel and fall. These are countries like Cuba, Venezuela, even Nicaragua now, Iran, China, North Korea, Russia. These are countries that do not like us. And they help support this or behind it 100%. And so what they’re doing is bringing death and destruction to our shores. As sure as cotton is the green apples that’s unraveling our society, that’s causing a horrendous cost to families and lives shattered. And so why wouldn’t we have the right to respond to that? Now, I understand that there was a presentation to a closed presentation to certain members of Congress why they were doing this in the legal justifications. And they said, yeah, it’s a good case. I would like to see this administration make that public to the United States. But what drives me absolutely crazy is all of a sudden, when we’re lobbing cruise missiles, starting with Clinton and Obama at supposed terrorist training camps or this or that, if it’s all in the Middle East or somewhere else, we’re good with it. But now it’s in our backyard. We’re not good with it. And so I would suggest that, yes, there has been war waged against the American people, against our society, against the United States of America. And one of those ways that that’s being waged is by the importation of deadly narcotics. And for us to try to stop it, and now all of a sudden the people would be really up in arms about it, I’m a little confused by that. These are people that are bringing poisons in that are killing fellow Americans. And you’re upset because these guys got blown up? I’m trying to think of the moral equivalency when other presidents did this and lobbed cruise missiles at people in Sudan or Afghanistan or wherever, it was all good. But now there are drug smugglers in the Caribbean, and certain groups of people are taking really a lot of offense to that. I don’t. I think that you have the right to prevent these poisons from coming into the United States and harming the United States and killing our people.
SPEAKER 20 :
Well, I think, Chris Harris, that it’s really important that we follow the Constitution, because any time we deviate from following the Constitution, we get into trouble. So I’ve taken a look at the very beginning. of the preamble, it says, we the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility. It sure seems like that would be constitutional to go after people that are not ensuring domestic tranquility. And you mentioned These young men, as I think you know, I have this other show. I went to Normandy in 2016 with a group that accompanied four D-Day veterans back to Normandy for the 72nd anniversary of the D-Day landings. These guys were young men. One of them, Guy Whitten, was a paratrooper. He jumped in behind… enemy lines on D-Day, and these guys were in great shape. And the enemy, what they wanted to do was to take out our young soldiers. They wanted to kill them, our young men. I don’t think that’s that much different from what our enemies are trying to do with this fentanyl that’s coming in. Because I know two families who had dynamic young sons that one of them had had an injury and ended up getting… um hooked on drugs and the other i think just what kids have done have gotten hooked on drugs and both of those sons died and so same way it’s an assault upon our our young fighting age men it’s just a different way that they’re taking them out is that too much of a leap to to make to make
SPEAKER 10 :
I don’t think so, but I would expand on that and say it’s not just an attack, a deliberate attack on our military-age men. I would say it’s a deliberate attack on our whole society. whatever they can do to disrupt it, unravel the societal fabric, that accrues to their benefit. So I would suggest what you said is true. I would just expand upon it. And I want to touch on when you talked about the Constitution. I absolutely love the Constitution, adore how it was written. This is why I want this administration to show why what they’re doing is constitutional, because I think it is. I think, you know, provide for the common defense, the whole bit that they are doing that. I just want them to present that case to the American public and say, here’s why we’re doing it. Here’s the legalities of it. And I think they would have a lot less pushback, at least from my independent and moderate friends who are questioning it somewhat. And that’s fine. Question things. There’s nothing wrong with that. But but I wish they would then say, here’s our case. Here’s why. And you make your own decision on it. But here’s what our attorney said. Here’s what the best legal scholars in mind we have working for us. We reached out to academia. You know, here’s what we presented to these select members of Congress. And now we’re presenting to you as long as it doesn’t give out operational security or anything. I would like them to do that. I think it is constitutional from what I know of it. But I would like them to show a little bit more because I always want us to follow the Constitution, as you will understand. So aptly put it that that’s a dangerous road. We start veering from the Constitution for no matter what the reasons. So but I absolutely think that the commander in chief of the U.S. Armed Forces, that’s the president, has the right in certain circumstances to do what he’s doing. And, you know, as far as War Powers Act and this and that, Congress is pretty much. deferred on that for the last decades. They’ve kind of like washed their hands of it. If they want to get back involved in that game, that’s fine. It seems kind of like a weird hill to want to die on to say, I now want to limit the president’s actions for killing people smuggling fentanyl into this country. But, you know, God bless. But, you know, they’ve deferred from that for decades, regulating when and if the president can initiate hostilities and so on and so forth. But the courts have ruled up to the Supreme Court that in a lot of instances, the president can do things with the U.S. armed forces that he thinks are in the best interest of the United States. That’s been ruled by the Supreme Court. So I don’t want to just talk about defense and all, but I’m not losing sleep at night, Kim, that they’re treating people that are bringing poison into our country and killing Americans, that they’re treating them as the enemy. I’m not losing sleep at all at that at night.
SPEAKER 20 :
I think that’s a really important perspective. We’re going to continue the discussion with Chris Harris, retired Border Patrol agent from the San Diego sector and former law enforcement agent as well. And you and I both have said that we really want Trump to follow the Constitution. My understanding is when pressed on what those illegal orders are, these people could not name them. And one of them is Colorado Congressman Jason Crow, who is a veteran, and then Arizona Senator Mark Kelly. What’s your thoughts about this whole brouhaha?
SPEAKER 10 :
So we’re pushing the edge of the envelope of my wheelhouse, but I think I can touch on this. Law enforcement in general and certainly the Border Patrol is a paramilitary organization. We have ranks. We salute. We stand at attention, the whole bit. And as a union official, as a union rep and an elected union official, one of the things we would tell the young men and women is that It had to be pretty egregious and pretty obvious that something was so illegal that that’s when you could not obey that order. And I’ll give you a really bizarre thing, but if a supervisory agent came in to the processing area and said, hey, round up all those kids in that cell there, and then I want you to douse them with gasoline and set them on fire. pretty much you know that that’s following orders will get you into a Nuremberg-type thing. You don’t do that. But pretty much everything else, the rule of thumb was obey first, grieve later. In other words, come to the Union, and if they did something wrong or they’re telling you to do something you shouldn’t do, we’ll grieve it. To tell – to go out of your way at this point in time to tell the men and women of the United States Armed Forces, I think it’s a slippery slope for these guys to do it and – I’m really amazed at these two in the media. It’s not just them, though. There’s billboards appearing outside military bases like Fort Bragg and whatnot, basically telling them to get VPNs so they can secretly contact these websites that are providing these billboards to talk about them leaving the military, not to file these illegal orders, get more information from us. So it’s really a concerted effort. It’s more than just what these congressmen or senators are saying or they’ve been led to believe. There’s a concerted effort to really disrupt the U.S. military. And again, who benefits from that? It’s these foreign nation states and foreign adversaries and criminal organizations, terrorist organizations who will benefit from that. So if you’re literally trying to get people to leave the military. because of this administration. That’s crazy. And to me, that is crossed the line into sedition. I will say that everybody seemed good on the left to bring certain people to trial after January 6 for sedition. Hadn’t been used in years. So they’re all good with that. So that’s on the table. I would just suggest that these congressmen and senators, yeah, you took an oath, too, and be very careful what you say to the young men and women. They know what’s right and wrong, and they’re going to follow the orders of their superiors. Those orders have to be filtered down. My wife’s eldest son in the Army, he worked for Jack. You know, they have attorneys looking at this stuff. It’s going to be really bizarre to have an order come down that’s so egregiously wrong that you should disobey it. You took an oath when you sign up, like I did, every law enforcement agency, and most including the U.S. Border Patrol, to obey the orders of my superiors, to defend the Constitution. But I think these guys that are doing this, men and women, that are elected officials, they’re on a real dangerous slippery slope, and I wish they would review in their own minds what they hope to gain from this as a whole. They might not like Trump at all. They might hate him. Obviously, I think they hate him. But what are they really hoping to gain by doing this with the U.S. armed forces to really, are they trying to sow dissent? And again, if there’s some egregiously illegal orders, let us know what you think they are. But as you said, not one of them has come up with an actual specific order that they said is illegal or unlawful for the men and women, the armed forces to obey.
SPEAKER 20 :
So I had a conversation with Colonel Rutledge about this as well. And what we finally came to or what I what I decided, if you want to send a message to our young enlisted personnel, send a message of know your constitution. You are swearing that you will uphold the Constitution, so know the Constitution. That seems like that would be the positive thing to encourage our young military personnel to do instead of encouraging something that really disrupts the U.S. military, which one could consider as sedition. So it seems like knowing the Constitution, and we as citizens need to do that as well, Chris Harris.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, there’s far too many people that don’t know the Constitution at all. They’re not really teaching in school. So, Kim, I couldn’t agree with you more that that would be the message then to everybody in the U.S. Armed Forces, everybody in the Reserves, the Guard, everybody in law enforcement, everybody that has that position of authority that took an oath to the Constitution, reread it, understand it, talk to people about it, know it and love it. And there you’ll you’ll be fine. But these kind of like semi mysterious, you know, insinuations that, oh, this might be illegal that, you know, you guys pick and choose what you think that that that violates the chain of command. And you will you absolutely kill the U.S. armed forces if you have everybody all the time questioning pretty much every order they get because they just don’t feel that it just doesn’t feel right. That’s not how it works. That’s not how the United States, you know, the Code of Military Justice works. That’s just not how it works. And I’m a little surprised at these congressmen and senators that took their own oaths for insinuating some of these things. I hope they just reconsider where they’re going with it and maybe pick, like you said, a more positive note. I don’t know how much more time I have, Kim, but I’d like to just circle back to the cities.
SPEAKER 20 :
Yeah, we’ve got about a minute and a half. So what’s your final thought?
SPEAKER 10 :
So that’s perfect. My final thought is no matter where you live, you really have to – the number one goal of any government at any level is supposed to be to protect you. That’s it, be it through police, emergency medical services, fire. That’s their main goal. That’s it. Everything else that comes after that is gravy. You have to look at who you’re electing. Stop being baited by race or religion or ethnicity, any of that. Look at who you’re electing at all levels. Because if you’re in a city, the mayor appoints the chief of police. Look at who you’re electing, especially for your district attorneys. Who are you electing for your judges? Or who are you electing that is appointing these judges? And we have to get back to what we know that works. good, solid policing. We know how to do it. It doesn’t have to be systemically anything. And that is putting bad guys in jail, making them stay there, and getting them off the streets. That is the basic thing. And keep We keep watering down the law because somehow it’s they’re this or they’re that. Oh, urinating in public, you know, that shouldn’t be a crime. Yes, it should. Yes, it should. Nobody’s kid should see some guy urinating in public. That’s just a no-no. So all these little crimes, again, the broken window theory is we need to get back to that. And you could do that fairly and firmly and justly, but that’s what you need to get back to in your communities and your cities if you want them to thrive again. But more importantly, if you want your family to be safe. Law enforcement generally knows how to do it. Elect the people that will do it, and I think you’ll see cities come back to the vibrant meccas that they once were.
