Hour 1 of https://RushToReason.com opens with John Rush challenging listeners to rethink what truly matters as Christmas approaches: Are we clinging to gifts no one remembers, or to experiences no one forgets? But the hour quickly shifts from holiday wisdom to political reality as John delivers a bold, unfiltered prediction about Colorado’s GOP governor’s race. With more than 20 Republican candidates scrambling for attention, he asks the unavoidable question: Is the party sabotaging itself before the race even begins? John warns that infighting, ego-driven campaigns, and even suspected political “plants” could doom conservatives in 2026 unless unity happens early—something
SPEAKER 03 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 14 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. You’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 03 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 12 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did.
SPEAKER 11 :
Get a job, sir. You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 10 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 07 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right, we are back. Hour number three, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. As I said earlier, Patrick Payton joining us now, former mayor of Midland, Texas, a leadership consultant, longtime pastor, presidential leadership scholar. Patrick, welcome. How are you?
SPEAKER 06 :
I’m doing well, John. Thanks for letting me be on your show. I enjoyed the football conversation earlier.
SPEAKER 04 :
Thank you. Thank you. We don’t talk all politics and all of that here. We try to get into some other areas as well to have a little fun. And sports makes things fun. And by the way, that kind of dovetails into even our conversation talking about Christmas is coming up. New Year’s is after that. Families will get together. Not everybody’s always on the same page politically speaking. Not everybody’s always on the same page when it comes to team sports, and so on. But what I find ironic, Patrick, is we can get over our differences on the sports sides of things more so than we can politically.
SPEAKER 06 :
Oh, I think that you’ve painted the picture perfectly. I make no secrets that I’m a big Oklahoma Sooner fan, so glad to be in the playoff this year. But I’ve made the comment to my wife whenever we’re leaving games and we’re walking back to the hotel, I said, you know, it’s amazing. I can sit here in a stadium and be cheering until i’m forced you know and i can’t i don’t even have a voice left but then i can be walking through campus and run into a tennessee volunteer fan or run into a alabama crimson tide fan or whatever the case might be and we can say hey great game you guys had a great time i hope you had a great visit here and people realize that that you respect people and one of the things we say in our book is you can disagree but you don’t have to disrespect right and that’s something that’s missing it’s gone i don’t know where it’s gone but it’s gone
SPEAKER 04 :
No, you’re exactly right, and what I was going to add to that is you can do all of that, have that kind of respect when it’s all said and done, but in your part of the world, you’d probably be okay. But you know what, up here, if you walked on some of our college campuses with a MAGA hat on, it’d be a horse of a different color.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, absolutely, and that’s both ways, and that’s really the point we’ve brought up in the book, and I’ve had a lot of disagreements with folks that I’ve known for a long time, and I’ve said, look, I’m not talking about people being extreme and angry on one side or the other side. It’s both sides. But it’s this old 80-20 Pareto principle that I’m sure you’re familiar with. And I think it’s divided. And we’ve got 10% of the extremes on the left, 10% of the extremes on the right. And they’ve gotten so loud. And we don’t have to go on a big harangue about social media and all those things. We all know what it is. But It’s just feeding the fear, and it’s feeding the control, and I just think the heartbeat of America is sitting around saying, what in the world is going on? And you mentioned before I came on the air about families who come together, and I was two decades as a senior pastor, and we’ve had all these discussions with families, and you see this dynamic in families where sometimes parents just think, Something has to be said. I have to correct my kids. Or the kids say, I’ve got to correct my parents. And rather than having a discussion and showing respect, we end up ruining an entire family gathering because we don’t have this love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and gentleness. And then we fracture families because of extremes in our families.
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s funny because, you know, I’ve got lots of different friends and folk that I know outside of, you know, what I do here on air. And it’s funny because I think at times people will hesitate maybe even from inviting me to certain things, especially if they know there might be people that are on the other side of the aisle because they know what I do here daily. And they think, well, you know, then there’s going to be an automatic conflict because, you know, I’m very vocal here on air about what I do. But what they don’t know, Patrick, is no offense, by the time I get to like the weekend, I’ve talked enough about all of this that I’ll be quite honest. You could be completely from the left. We’ll get along fine because I’m not talking about it anyways.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. Unfortunately, people don’t talk about it as much as folks like you and I have talked about it. And they make everybody else around them suffer with the conversation. But it really… You know, there’s just this bygone era, and I’m not sure when it happened. There’s all kinds of debates. But just being able to engage with someone in a conversation to understand who they are rather than automatically – we picked up this word as we were working on the book called otherizing people.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay, otherizing.
SPEAKER 06 :
I like that. We just otherize them, and no matter if someone on our side – some on the other side, then we won’t take the time to get to know that person. And I made huge mistakes as a pastor early in my career. I was 31 years old when we started the church, and I grew up in a very fundamental environment. And it took me a while to stop seeing people as those evil, unsaved, degenerate people and sit across the table from them and realize, you know what? if I really believe the Bible to be what I say it is, then that person sitting across from me is created in the image of God and deserves unlimited respect from me, whether I agree with them or not. And you either agree with that or you don’t. And I’ll go on. I was on a radio show here while I was mayor. This was a couple of years ago. And people were calling in. I went on twice a month after city council meetings, and people were calling in and They were using their favorite derogatory names for Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden and others. And finally, I just stopped the broadcast and I said, look, I’m listening to all of you call in and you’re calling Nancy Pelosi a derogatory name. You’re referring to Joe Biden in derogatory terms. But then you’re ending the conversation with God bless you. And I said, those two things can’t exist. They don’t work together, do they? They do not.
SPEAKER 04 :
Great point.
SPEAKER 06 :
They don’t.
SPEAKER 04 :
And by the way, thank you. And I try to run our program here in very much the same way. Now, I will say this, and I’m very staunch on this. I will call the Marxist movement what it is. I feel like a lot of where we’re at today, including even this division that you’re talking about right now, Patrick, is driven out of the Marxist movement. I think there’s some people that are unknowingly in that movement. They may not know it. And that’s some of the conversations, by the way, that you’re referring to that I think you can have openly with people and really start asking questions as to Well, do you know what you believe is really this, and this is where it really stems from and where it comes from and so on? And I can give so many examples on that, and I am staunch against the Marxist movement because it’s an anti-God, anti-spiritual movement. It literally is everything against what you and I believe in, and I will speak openly about that and even let people know that do you realize – You’re a part of that, and here’s why. Do it in a nice way, of course, Patrick, where folks can really relate to, oh, I never really thought about it that way. And that’s what we need to do. We need to get people to really open their minds and think about some of the things that they actually believe in or are supporting. And by the way, that works on both sides of the aisle, because I think there’s times where that 10% that’s far right on our side, frankly, at times, Patrick, they have no idea what they believe in either. They just do it because it’s an emotional thing they can get involved in.
SPEAKER 06 :
Ed, they’re repeating a talking point and they’re getting a click. And I go back to what you say, you know, Marxism, socialism, these are not just anti-religious, they’re anti-human.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 06 :
But I remember being taught a long time ago that the issue is not the issue. And what you just said, I think, gets passed over by so many people, goes back to the other rising issue we just talked about. You can talk to a young person in America. You can talk to a young person on a college campus. You can talk to an older person. Wherever you’re meeting with someone who says they have a particular socialist-leaning view, if you attack the view, you’re attacking the person if you don’t get to know the person before you challenge their view. And that is the part where we don’t want to spend time enough with someone to say, tell me your story. Tell me how you arrived at this. And some of them may not even have a story, and then you can begin to – to challenge back and forth, but some of them may have a story that led them to a belief system that seemed to answer the question for them, and they haven’t had anybody engage a conversation with them. And I can tell you, you and I sound like we had a similar background. I mean, raising very kind of fundamental backgrounds. Yes. many times the objective was simply to get someone to pray a sinner’s prayer rather than to get to know the sinner at the well before you showed him the life you had to offer him.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 06 :
And that’s where we manipulated people.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 06 :
And so these extreme movements on either side are all about manipulation. They’re about control. They’re about capitalizing on people’s fear. And the problem is we have made— what is to be feared the other person rather than the view. And we need to know the person, respect the person, challenge the view. Yeah, I know there’s someone listening that’s going to say you’re discounting good and evil. No, I’m not.
SPEAKER 04 :
No, no, no. They all know me, and that’s not the case. Not at all. Yeah.
SPEAKER 06 :
We’re not discounting at all, but I’m also saying every time I read the Scriptures, I see Jesus pausing and having a conversation with sinners, tax collectors, and women at the well, and usually saying to the very religious people, you think you’re first in? You’re probably going to be last in, if not first out. You’d better be careful how you treat people and how you talk to them.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right, so give us some tips. We’re getting ready, you know, before we close you out, you’re getting ready to go into a dinner and, you know, you’re getting ready to even walk in and you know that, you know, there might be Uncle Charlie there or Uncle Joe there that, you know, is such that, you know, no matter what, he’s going to speak his political, whatever it is, could be on either side of the aisle. And everybody dreads going by the way because of that. And by the way, for all of you listening, don’t be that guy. I mean, please, for the love of God, don’t be that guy. But let’s say that that guy is going to be at the family dinner, Patrick. How do we handle that?
SPEAKER 06 :
I think that’s a great question, and I think to the person you acknowledged who might be that uncle, I’ll speak to you first and say, really, nobody cares about what you think. Let’s use the old phrase. Why don’t you show them how much you care? To the rest of us that are getting ready for the Uncle Joe or Uncle Nick, whatever his name is, I would say to those who are people of faith, to spend the time before they head off to that family event, literally praying this prayer, Lord, fill me with your spirit, so I walk in love, joy, peace, and patience, and kindness, and gentleness, and all the rest. And then I would be ready with other conversations, and I would also be ready to find a way to disengage the conversations that Uncle Joe’s trying to bring up, and find a way to love people around you. And once you sort of enter into that space, we’ve all had family dynamics where we’re fearful the topic is going to come out. But someone in the room has to be the person that just sometimes literally says, hey, you know what? Let’s not talk about that right now. Let’s not bring up that issue. Let’s talk about the football games. Let’s talk about how good the turkey was. You just have to redirect because as soon as you engage, everything turns off.
SPEAKER 04 :
And that’s kind of, I’m sorry to go this direction, everybody listening, but this is what good sales people do, by the way, is they redirect and go back to the things that really are at hand and you divert off of those things that can become controversial. And those of you that are good sales people know exactly what I’m talking about. But when it comes to family dinners and things like that, you know, be a good salesperson, be a good steward, I guess, of the time and of everybody else that’s there. And at the end of the day, yeah, to your point, Patrick, you know, direct some of those conversations in a way where, you know, there’s something going on in Uncle Joe’s life. Find out what that is and talk about that rather than his favorite political position.
SPEAKER 06 :
Exactly. Exactly. That’s it’s just that. Don’t ruin family over your views. There are just much bigger things in life and in family than to have a political discussion that galvanizes sides.
SPEAKER 04 :
The book, The Middle, How the Quiet Majority Can Mend a Divided Nation, how do folks get a hold of that, Patrick?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, it’ll be officially out in print on March the 3rd. Right now, you can pre-order the book through any site that you want to pre-order the book through. You could go to our website, which is Patrick-Fayton.com. And those would be the best ways for you to get hold of the book and pre-order it now. And we’ll be going on a publicity tour in the next couple of months. And so hopefully we’ll make it to Denver.
SPEAKER 04 :
Love it.
SPEAKER 06 :
And we can go to a bookstore there. It’d be great.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’d be awesome. Patrick, keep us in mind as all that develops. If you want to come back on air with us, you’ve been a joy. As you can tell, we speak the same language. This is really easy. I appreciate you taking time for us.
SPEAKER 06 :
I’m honored to be on your show. I appreciate it. You’re very welcome.
SPEAKER 04 :
Have a great one. Appreciate you. And again, folks, take all that to heart because a lot of you will be involved in family gatherings whereby it might get a little tense at times. Take some of his words of wisdom and apply them. Golden Eagle Financial coming up next. Everybody needs a great financial planner, by the way. I say this a lot and I’ve said this in the past. If you’ve had one but you hardly ever hear from them, you need a new one. Talk to Al Smith today. Listen to this interview. Call Al later if you need him. Find him at klzradio.com.
SPEAKER 07 :
Hi, I’m Al Smith from Golden Eagle Financial. You may have heard my radio show or one of my ads here on KLZ. I’ve had the show for over five years. I really enjoy providing information and I try to make it interesting. You have a lot of choices when it comes to selecting an advisor. A few things about me. I’m a fiduciary. I’ve been in the business over 30 years. And if you call my office, depending on the day and time, you might reach me. If my office manager takes the call or if it goes to voicemail, you’ll be contacted very quickly. When we sit down to discuss your financial concerns, before we go over any statements of your accounts, we’ll take a deep dive into what you want your future to look like. Not just the financial component, but a little bit about your family, how you plan to spend your time, where you plan to live and any plans you have to give back. or to volunteer. I want to learn about what makes you happy, what brings you joy. We can then craft a plan together that takes all these things into consideration. To learn more, contact me through the KLZ website.
SPEAKER 03 :
This is Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right, as a side note, our last guest, Patrick Payton. I was just telling Charlie through the break, always nice when a guest is actually listening to our program. A, it gives me a better connection with them, as you could just tell from that last interview, because they can talk about things that we’ve even gotten done or we’ve just finished talking about. And it’s always fun when that happens. So, Patrick, if you’re still listening, I appreciate that greatly. Thank you very much. That means a lot to me and really, in my opinion, sets apart a lot of the different guests that we have. And by the way, we have a lot of guests that do, in fact, listen to the program prior to coming on. Not all of them say that, but I know they do because I hear from them about different topics that we may have been talking to prior that they’ll interject afterwards. And we’ve got a lot of them that do that, which I appreciate greatly. All right. Speaking of, this dovetails in. To what we were talking about Jersey Joe sent me this and I think you know I hate to say this but Nuts. I watch so many things during the day that a lot of you send me that I failed in this one to mark it whether it was clean or not, so I can’t play this. I’m sorry. I should have marked this, and I apologize. I normally do. I normally will say, you know, here’s a problem, and I only play a certain amount. I’m sorry. I don’t remember on this one whether they say anything bad or not, so I can’t play this one. But there’s a woman, and this is an ex-post, a Twitter post. There’s a woman that believes that anyone who voted for Donald Trump should be required by law to wear a red MAGA hat 24 hours a day so that other people can recognize and stay away from them since they are as dangerous as a stick of dynamite held in your hand. Her words, not mine. Now, this is Joe’s wording, and I would agree with this. It’s a novel idea that’s never been tried before, unless you consider that requiring that all Jews wear a Star of David on their clothing when they went outside to be the same type of thing. I mean, lady. Yeah, this doesn’t work out so well. And no, you can’t do this. And this is a terrible idea. It wouldn’t matter whether somebody was a complete Marxist or somebody is a complete, you know, MAGA supporter that wants to wear a red hat, either or. No, neither one of them should have to wear anything that says so, ever. That’s not how this country was built. In fact, we have defeated, i.e., Nazi Germany, when it comes to things like this because of that. So this is a terrible, terrible idea, but it tells you what the other side believes at times. And as I was talking, you know, again to our last guest, Patrick, you guys know me. Yeah, I’ll always call out, you know, one side over the other, and I’ll call out Marxism when it needs to be and so on. Now, I do that collectively because there’s lots of Marxists out there, and any time I get a chance to actually meet one individually, we’re absolutely going to have a conversation. Here’s the reality, though. The majority of people that we meet, and even people that are inside of our families, they themselves probably wouldn’t consider themselves a total, you know, all-out Marxist, although they believe in the cause. By the way, just like a lot of Christians would say, well, I’m a Christian, but yet, are they? I mean, truly, are they? Depends on how they act, how they behave, what they actually believe in, what are their core beliefs and so on. Until you do a little bit of digging, you may not even know that answer. Same is true with a quote-unquote Marxist or somebody that believes in Marxist things. You know, for example… We talked earlier in the program about high-density housing and the cost of living here in Colorado. And the left’s way of fixing that is through the Agenda 21 program, which is from the United Nations, which puts everybody inside of a smaller area. You live closer together. You walk, eat, you sleep, and so on, all in a close proximity. And they think that’s the way to basically lower housing costs and save money for people. It really is control at that point. But you might run across somebody that believes in some of that. Mass transit, on and on we go. And by the way, that’s all a form of Marxism. And that’s an easy conversation to start having and say, well, you know what you’re believing in and what you’re really promoting is part of an Agenda 21 program under the United Nations, right? And they might look at you like, what are you talking about? You could then, by the way, look up Agenda 21 and some of what it is trying to instigate, and it’s very Marxist in its movement as to what it’s trying to do, and that would be a jumping-off point to start getting into some of what they believe and why they’re trying to push that, and you could then continue down the path of what I always say, which, you know, it’s easier to control a population when it’s close-knit than when it’s spread apart, much like Jews being moved to certain parts of town and then into concentration camps. The Germans just kind of did it a step at a time. And by the way, the way they started all of that, and this is another conversation you could have with this particular individual, is the only way they got the Jews to do this in the first place is they took all their guns away. That was the number one thing in the process they did. All guns went away. They couldn’t defend themselves. Then they started this process of putting them into closer and closer and closer areas so they could control them more and more and more, eventually to the point where they wanted to extinguish them. That was the whole idea behind it. And when you go down the path of what I just said and start using those comparisons and you do it in such a nice and really more of a teaching way, an instructional way versus a dogmatic way, you might actually get someplace. Now, you may not. They may still look at you and just say, no, that’s not true. That’s crazy. And really the way you could lead on with that would be, you know, here’s what I encourage you to do. You don’t have to believe me. You don’t have to believe anything of what I’m saying. Go look some of this stuff up for yourself. You know, even go do a quick AI search on Agenda 21 and what does it stand for? What’s behind it? Why is it there? Why do they want this? Why would the UN care at the end of the day? And why would certain cities and towns and municipalities want to adopt an Agenda 21? Why would they want to do that in the first place? These are questions, by the way, you’re putting to this person. Then they can go then and look up some of this information for themselves and do their own deep dive, do their own digging. And by the way, if they choose not to, well, then that’s on them. You’ve done your part. You’ve led them to the water, if you would. And the old saying is, you know, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Okay, same applies here. You can lead them down the path, give them all the information. Here’s what you need to go look up. Here’s what you need to be, you know, asking questions on and so on. And then start making some determinations as to, you know, am I crazy or not? And again, if they’ll do a deep dive into this, it won’t take them very long to realize that, oh, I guess there is an agenda here. And I guess I’m a part of said agenda. And will you actually get people to look at things correctly? And it comes back to the old whole thing Andy and I talk about a lot, the old force versus freedom. Our side believes in you do you. We’ll give you freedom to go do whatever you want to do. Don’t impose what you’re doing on me. You can go do whatever you want to do. And you know what? At the end of the day, we’re all good. And really, that’s kind of us in a nutshell. I get it. There’s some hardcore folk. And even Patrick was talking about this a moment ago. There’s some hardcore folk on our side, that 10 percent that would want to still control you at the end of the day. But I’m not that. I don’t want to control anybody. You do you. And we’ll be fine at the end of the day. But on the same token, you do you. And don’t tell me what you’re doing and or force me to do what you’re doing. If you want to go live in a tight-knit neighborhood and live above where you work and play and all that, and you don’t want to leave your particular area, you know what? Be my guest. Have fun. Not my lifestyle. I don’t want to do that. I like living out away from everybody. I want to be on my own. Yes, I’m going to drive. I don’t take mass transit. I want the ability to do whatever I want to do, by the way, including drive what I want to drive. If you want to drive an EV, great. If you don’t want to drive an EV, great. If you want to drive a diesel truck, you want to drive a diesel car, you want to drive a gas-powered car, you want to drive a hybrid, you want to drive a plug-in hybrid. You know what? Here’s my feeling. Drive whatever you want to. I don’t care at the end of the day. You want to drive something new, you want to drive something old. Again, I don’t care. Drive whatever you want to. My only complaint that I have on that is just drive. When you get on the road, drive. That’s my only complaint. Drive. Don’t be in the way. Drive. That’s my only complaint with drivers is some of them don’t know how. Learn, drive, be efficient at what you do and how you drive and so on. But what you drive, I could care less. How much you drive, I could care less. Where do you drive? I could care less. It doesn’t matter to me. Now, one thing that I do have a pet peeve on, which some of the rest of you do as well, get your license plate like you’re supposed to. Quit running around on a temp tag that’s two and three years old. And I know that’s not my listener, so I’m really not preaching to anybody that could actually hear me on this. But get your license plates and do it correctly. We do. The rest of us do. So why can’t you? Nothing ticks me off than to see a registration that’s two years old that some guy’s still driving around on paper tags. Happy tags are still there. It’s ridiculous. So I’m digressing, but at the end of the day, you do you, within reason, of course. If you’re harming others, then you can’t do you. If you’re raping and pillaging and doing all sorts of things that you’re not supposed to, no, you can’t do you then. You have to do you within the law, the Constitution, and so on. But if you want to do you in that manner, then go do you. That’s the way our side looks at it. We don’t put stipulations on you. Now, the other side, Marxism, it does put a lot of stipulations on. They don’t let you do you because they want to control you. It still comes back down to the whole force versus freedom. One side wants to force you. The other side wants to give you freedom to decide what you want to do. That’s it in a nutshell. All right, Kevin Flesch is up next. If you’ve got any legal problem at all, you need some solutions for, some representation, civil, criminal, you name it, Kevin can help you with all of the above. 303-806-8886.
SPEAKER 09 :
Here’s why you need personal injury attorney Kevin Flesch on your side. He understands the way the jury thinks. In the context of a personal injury case, you’ve been hurt by someone else’s negligence. The idea is that you’re going to try to recover so that you can get back to where you were just prior to that incident occurring. What that really means from a jurist’s perspective is that you’re going to be asking them to award you money. So when we talk about fairness, we’re talking about six people that you don’t know. Those six people view the evidence and make a unanimous decision that will decide what the fair value is. When you’re the one who’s hurt, you have a good idea of what you think it’s worth. The question is, can you persuade those other individuals whom you don’t know and were witnesses to believe that’s what the case is worth? Kevin Flesch understands the way the jury thinks. Call now for a free consultation, 303-806-8886.
SPEAKER 15 :
The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right, we’re back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Lines are open, by the way. I should have mentioned that earlier. No guests the rest of this hour. If it’s something you want to talk about, regards to anything we’ve talked about so far, be my guest, 303-477-5600. 303-477-5600. Somebody texted me on this and asked if I was going to talk about this, and yeah, it was already in my notes for today. State Senator Julie Gonzalez is announcing her run for John Hickenlooper’s seat. Now, he will run as an incumbent. Chances of him getting beaten even by even being primaried by another lefty, probably pretty slim. But this particular individual is going to give it a shot. Now, I will say this. This particular state senator, she is definitely a Marxist through and through. Yeah, she’s actually even labeled herself as a Democrat socialist. So reality is she’s a Marxist through and through. So she’s going to try to run and primary out, you know, John Hickenlooper. I doubt statewide she has much of a chance, but this kind of goes along with that growing trend, I guess the word I was looking for, coast to coast, whereby these types of individuals are continuing to get their, you know, quote unquote, nose under the tent. She’s a state senator. And she’s now going to try to become a national, a federal state senator on that level, not state as in the state of Colorado, but a state senator going to Washington, D.C. So she’s been a state senator here in Colorado since 2018. She was reelected in 2022 without opposition. And again, she has spent her time in office. This is coming out of 9 News, focusing on affordable housing, which is Marxist, strengthening protections for immigrant communities, again, Marxist, She was also a prime sponsor for bills repealing the death penalty in Colorado. Again, Marxist. And some of you say, wait a minute, John, time out. How would repealing the death penalty in Colorado be Marxist? Because the more criminals you can have out on the streets, the better off you are, according to Marxists. It’s that simple. And again, they also couch this in, oh, you know, we love all people. Why should anybody deserve the death penalty? That’s what they’re going to come at you with. But no, it’s because they want crime to be up. And they know that if there’s not a penalty that fits the crime and more people do the crime, crime goes up, which is what they like. Marxism wants chaos. It’s a part of their mantra. They want things to be disrupted as much as they possibly can. Because again, if it’s disrupted and they can come in and fix it as government, they win. Their whole idea, their whole mantra, their belief system is, no God, us instead. So if they can create chaos that they can come in and somehow fix, quote unquote, they become the supreme being, the winners, if you would. So she also sponsored the bill that solidified abortion rights into state law following the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Last year, she sponsored the Voting Rights Act, which put into state law protections against voter intimidation and voter suppression. In other words, let’s make sure that as many illegals that can vote do. Let’s make sure as many people that shouldn’t be voting do. That’s what that Voting Rights Act is. She’s a prime sponsor or she was the prime sponsor. So Hickenlooper, who they call a moderate Democrat, I chuckle when I hear that because he’s far from it. He’s not probably as well. He’s not as far left as Gonzalez is. That’s why she’s running, by the way. But he’s pretty far left. Don’t get me wrong on that one. He will vote lock, stock and barrel with what the Democrats tell him to do. But no, he’s not as openly vocal about. as what somebody like she is. She’s a known Marxist, period. She runs. She’s going to run as that. And it’ll be interesting here in Colorado, by the way, to see exactly how things work along those lines because, again, we’re getting bluer and bluer as time goes by. So first things first, if you’re somebody that’s on our side of the aisle, don’t poo-poo this. This is actually – the reason I’m talking about it is this is a pretty good story. I wouldn’t be mentioning it if it wasn’t. This is a shifting of the tide once again in Colorado. Going back to my initial conversation at 3 o’clock hour about our side and the GOP run for governor in Colorado. And I was reading a Facebook post a moment ago during the break. talking about the very same thing I’m talking about today, that we need to be more collected amongst ourselves, be more unified, if you would, before the primary or we’re going to lose. There was a post on Facebook talking about the very same thing I talked about today. I just read. And whoever posted that, kudos. You’re spot on. You’re 100% correct. If we don’t collectively get together and know what we’re doing heading into the primary, we don’t stand a chance. And by the way, this is across the board. You know, we’ve got, I was going to talk about this today, might as well. Hope Shepelman, who’s trying to primary out Jeff Hurd. And then we’ve got this knucklehead Adam Dorito. Yeah, it’s not Dorito like chips, but D-R-I-T-O, D-E-R-I-T-O, Dorito. He’s going to try to primary Gabe Evans and CD8. And these two are like kind of next to one another. It’s like I saw a meme today, and I’m sorry to make fun, but it’s really true. It was the meme of Dumb and Dumber with their faces in there. And it’s really not too far off. I mean, these are two of the probably most inept people. that you could have in office or even running a campaign, period, that are going to try to primary both Jeff Hurd and Gabe Evans, which don’t need primaried. Now, these two knuckleheads will tell you that they do, but this is what I was talking about in the 3 o’clock hour. These are the kind of individuals that if we don’t get them reined in, we’ll screw up any chances we have of winning in Colorado whatsoever. And I’ll go as far as to say this. I don’t know the Del Rito guy or Dorito guy, although I think he’s got some accusations that have proven to be true in his past with some minor pictures of minors and things like that, which basically if all that’s true, and I’ve not seen anywhere that’s been denounced, the guy’s a creep. Why is he running at all? Why is he even in our party? The guy’s a creeper. He probably drives a white pedivan. I mean, sorry, but that’s just creepy. Why is he running at all? Why would anybody be supporting him? And before anybody accuses me of anything, go look that up for yourself. I’m saying that, and if you can prove me wrong, send me the article, and I’ll come back on air and correct myself. But I looked, and I can’t see anywhere where anybody’s shot that down that that actually did happen, because it did. It was big news several years ago, by the way. And Hope, Hope’s just a train wreck. I’m sorry, she’s a train wreck. Hope, you know, she’s the one that held the one GOP meeting under the bridge, and she’s just a train wreck. And I would go as far as to say in both of these cases, I talked earlier in the three o’clock hour about how some of you have texted me and said, you know, are you sure some of these people aren’t Democrat plants? You know what? These two very well could be. They’re both that outlandish and really act. Maybe they’re not, but they sure act like they’re as dumb as rocks. Maybe they’re not. I’ve had even some email conversations back and forth with Hope, and I’ll just tell you straight up, she is a delusional individual. Her belief system is very delusional. And again, she’s another one. I don’t know about Dorito, but Hope is only new to Colorado seven, eight years ago. I mean, you would think that she’s some native by the way she talks, but she’s a newcomer. She’s a grifter through and through. I’ll make sure that I say that straight up. She’s one of those political grifters that I talk about quite often with Andy. That’s her. Dorito? I don’t know Adam. I don’t know. I didn’t look up his background. Frankly, don’t care. It looks like between the two of them, they look like a clown show. And I’m sorry to say that, but they do. And I’m not making fun. I’m just telling you this is what it looks like on our side of the aisle. That’s a clown show. It’s ridiculous. Those are two individuals that need to go away. Go bye-bye. If you want to help other people get elected or do whatever you want to do along those lines and really be a help to the GOP, great. You can hang around. But otherwise, see you. Go to another state. But Andy and I have talked about this a lot, but I’ll mention this here. We have, in the state of Colorado, the way our GOP is run here in Colorado, in our caucus system and so on, we attract grifters. We do. And I will tell you straight up, that’s the biggest problem we have with Colorado and why we don’t win. We attract political grifters. Nobody else out there. Maybe there’s a few talk show hosts talking about this, but I haven’t heard anybody talk about it the way I do. The reason we don’t win in Colorado is because we have a party full of grifters. that really are only in it for themselves. They’re not in it to win. They’re not in it for the party. They’re not in it for the Republican cause at all. They’ll tell you they’re in it for the conservative cause, but they’re grifters. They’re really not. They’re in it for themselves. And that’s the only reason they’re here. And believe me, you don’t come to Colorado and then get involved in politics in a short time frame unless you’re a grifter. There’s no reason to. There’s plenty of other states you can go to and have great success because they’re red states, by the way. If you’re really a solid red conservative and you want to go win an election, go to Texas, go to Florida, go someplace where you know you’re going to win. Why do they come to Colorado? Because they can, and there’s money to be made here, and they’re grifters, and they know it’s an easy access and it’s an easy in, and they do. And it happens over and over again. I can run through the names. And we in Colorado, the way our system is set up, we make it easy. And that’s what Andy and I are continuing to talk about, that that side of the aisle doesn’t ever want to see happen. That needs to change. The caucus system in Colorado needs changed. It’s detrimental to us winning in Colorado. And there’s some of you out there that would argue with me on that, but you don’t have much of an argument because I can prove it. You can prove it on paper. The data backs it up. And the further down that path we go, the worse it’s going to get. And the left, by the way, will continue to infiltrate our side to tell people that I and Andy are wrong and we should never go that direction so we keep what we have, knowing full well that if we keep what we have, we never win. And that’s what that side’s going to continue to do. Believe me when I say that. Mark my word. And I challenge anybody to come on air, talk about it openly, and tell me that I’m wrong and how I’m wrong. I don’t think you can is the problem. Because time has proven that we have a grifter-friendly system that allows our system to be corrupted easily, and it is right now. And it has been with Dave Williams and all of the folks that followed him, the Davidians, we call them. It’s very easy to be corrupted, and they’re still in a lot of ways in charge of what’s going on. And until some of that ends, we have no chance of winning in Colorado, I’m sorry to say. SPEAKER 08 :
What if you could get over 110 lab biomarkers tested just like Dr. Mark Hyman advertises, but for a fraction of the cost and with a doctor who actually explains the results? At Castle Rock Regenerative Health, Dr. Scott Faulkner has recreated this powerful biomarker test panel at a substantial savings. For the month of November, we have a special price for both men and women. Just $689. That’s a savings of over $2,500 over the standard price. And here’s the difference. With Hyman, you get numbers on a page. With Castle Rock Regenerative Health, you get Dr. Faulkner and his team walking you through every result, showing what’s off and creating a personalized plan to fix it. What’s even better, you don’t even have to be a concierge patient to get this pricing. This is open to everyone. Think about it. Most people’s deductible is higher than this special price. And your regular doctor, if he could get approved by your insurance, would never order this many tests, let alone know what to do with them. Call 303-663-6990 today or visit CastleRockRegenerativeHealth.com. That’s 303-669-6990. Take control of your health at Castle Rock Regenerative Health.
SPEAKER 02 :

SPEAKER 03 :
This isn’t Rage Radio. This is Real Relatable Radio. Back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right, this particular topic probably we’ll cover a little bit more on Thursday with Dr. Kelly Victory. And that is, of course, the Federal Vaccine Advisory Committee voting this past Friday to end the longstanding recommendation that all U.S. babies get the hepatitis B vaccine the day they’re born, which, quite honestly, by and large, Dr. Kelly would know this number better than I, but I would venture to guess it’s at least 95% don’t need it. There will be a few where potentially they might, depending upon the mom and what she’s been doing and so on, maybe there’s a chance in that particular situation that baby might need hepatitis B. But reality is every baby doesn’t need that. That is one of those things, again, and I can already tell you because I saw some news hits on this piece over the weekend, where the left is healthy. They are hot, which goes back to, same thing I keep saying, do they really care about people? No, they don’t. Now, they’re going to come back and tell you, well, you know, this keeps sexually transmitted diseases down, and this, that, and the other, and blah, blah, blah, blah. These are babies, infants. They don’t need it. They’re not going to need it. It will be years, decades before they might possibly need it, and even then, highly doubtful they’d need it. Some of us are, I mean, Charlie, I doubt if you’ve ever had one. I’ve never had one. I mean, most of us that are 60 or above or even 50 or above have never had one, and we’re doing just fine. Why do babies need one? They don’t. And that’s the whole point this committee finally came up with. And I hope there’s a trend here. We’ll talk to, again, Dr. Kelly hopefully on Thursday about this. Hopefully there’s a trend here where this type of thing will continue because there’s a lot of vaccines, quite frankly. We talk about this a lot with Dr. Kelly that babies just don’t eat. So the government has advised for years that all babies be vaccinated against the liver infection right after birth. The shots are widely considered to be a public health success for preventing thousands of illnesses. And again, that’s debatable. The Committee on Immunization Practices decided to recommend the birth dose only for babies whose mothers test positive and in cases where mom wasn’t tested. For other babies, it will be up to the parents and their doctors to decide if a birth dose is appropriate. The committee voted eight to three to suggest that a family elect to wait. Then the vaccination series should begin when the child is at least two months old. By the way, that’s exactly the way it should work. And even then, at two months, doubtful they’re even going to need it. This decision marks a return to a health strategy that was abandoned more than three decades ago. Asked why the newly appointed committee moved quickly to reexamine the recommendation, committee member Vicki Pebsworth on Thursday cited pressure from stakeholder groups without naming them. Committee members said the risk of infection for most babies is very low and that earlier research that found that the shots were safe for infants was inadequate. Again, going back to what Dr. Kelly Victory talks about all the time. They are not tested enough to know if they’re even safe, and yet we’re giving them to infants on an ongoing basis. And then we wonder why we have certain cases of whatever that have literally skyrocketed since I was a kid, Charlie was a kid, and then we wonder why. And you’ve heard us talk about this on Thursdays. We’ll do it again this coming Thursday. But the average baby can get anywhere to 60 to 70 shots. Not six or seven like when I was a kid. Add a zero to those. 60 to 70 shots. Not needed, folks. Unnecessary. And it’s just, these are conversations that in a lot of cases, moms and dads have not had much input into because they’ve just been told, here’s what you need. Here’s what’s required. Here’s what the CDC recommends. Here’s what we’re going to do. And the reality is, no, they don’t. In adults, by the way, the virus is spread through sex or sharing needles during injection and drug use. It can also be passed from an infected mother to a baby. Yeah, that’s why they’re saying if mom’s been tested and there’s a need for it, fine. But if not, don’t worry about it. In 1991, the committee recommended an initial dose of hepatitis B at birth. Experts say quick immunization is crucial to prevent infection from taking root, and indeed, cases of children have plummeted. Well, truthfully, don’t know that there are as many cases of kids having it in the first place. So really, to say that it’s plummeted, you’ve got to go back and even look at all that data that Dr. Kelly talks about, how accurate that even is in the first place. So the reality is the committee looked at all of this stuff. They made a decision. Again, the left is not happy about this because, by the way, they know that as one of these turns into this, in other words, it’s a by choice versus quote-unquote mandated, others will follow. And this is not what the left and big pharma wants, by the way. Some health experts, by the way, say this could make America sicker. I highly doubt it. Again, I go back to when we were kids and what was going on at that time. And I get it. It’s a different world today than it was then. But folks, the reality is we’re giving kids far too many vaccines at birth. We talk about that a lot on Thursdays. It’s just plain and simple. And it’s high time that as a country, we started to pull back on some of these things, and we are. So this is, in my opinion, a win for RFK Jr. and his team. Hopefully there will be more of these that come along, and this won’t be the last one. Again, I’ll get more information. We’ll get more thoughts from Dr. Kelly Victory. Hopefully I’ll reach out to her tomorrow to make sure that we’re on for Thursday. I think she will be. She was in a conference last Thursday, wasn’t able to join us, but I’m guessing she’ll be okay for Thursday. this coming Thursday. So, again, I’ll get you more information on that as I can. Lastly, and I’ll talk to Scott Garlis about this more on Wednesday because that’s when the Fed will actually announce, are they going to do a rate cut? News is that they’re expected to do a third rate cut, probably be just a quarter point. Part of that coming from the slow labor market and housing and some layoffs and so on. I’m not ever sold out on what the Fed’s going to do because I’ve said this and I’ll keep saying it. Jerome Powell hates Donald Trump. He hates this administration. He wants to do everything he possibly can to help the Democrats win next November. And he’s going to do everything he possibly can to put a stumbling block out. Meaning if he can keep the economy from rocking and rolling, he’ll do so. That’s my belief. And I don’t think I’ve been wrong on that so far. In fact, so far, this one I will brag about. Between I, Andy, and Scott Garlis, we have been dead right on every single thing Jerome Powell has done and what his motives were, all the way back to where he should have raised rates faster and didn’t, called inflation transitory at that point, which we all knew it wasn’t, and I can go down the list. Jerome Powell thinks he’s a lot smarter than he is, and really what he is is just a very vindictive Democrat when it comes to the current presidency. That’s what Jerome Powell is. So how much will this get lowered and how much will this play into even what happens this next spring? Time will tell. We’ll know more this week. We’ll know more. You know, they always have their meetings. They come out. They talk about what they did, why they did, what might be happening. Keep in mind at the last meeting in October, because there wasn’t one in November, but the last meeting in October, They said, well, there might not be anything happening in December. Well, now it looks like there actually will be. So I always caution, whenever they say something at those particular meetings, they’re doing that to basically CYA, cover their butt, making sure they’re not leaking anything out that could lead somebody to believe something’s going to be coming that they know may or may not be. So in a lot of ways, they say those things purposely to make sure that they’re redirecting the thought process, especially when it comes to Wall Street. But we need more rate cuts. This one’s not going to be enough. We need a lot more. We need another point and a half to really get the economy rocking and rolling. Housing, car sales, on down the line we go. And yes, I know there’s a lot of people out there that own their property outright, own their cars outright. I get that. But you’re the minority of Americans. Most Americans have debt. They utilize debt to do the things that they need, and that funds the economy. Like it or not, Dave Ramsey, it does. And I love Dave, but Dave’s not always right. Dave is right for some people, but not for all people. And it’s something to remember any time you listen to a Dave Ramsey or his type is Dave works for certain people, but Dave does not work, his philosophy does not work for all. All people. And I want to be very clear when I say that. Veteran windows and doors. Now, if you’re looking to save money on windows and doors, go direct to the source. These windows will come directly to you. The doors as well, I should say. Windows and doors will come directly to you. And as I say a lot with Dave, you know what? You can buy one window, one door, or do the entire house. He does not care. So talk to Dave today. Find him at klzradio.com.
