[Music] At age 10, Father Andre escaped Christian massacres by living in caves and mountain Lebanon with his family. Today, Father Andre works tirelessly to encourage American leaders to keep God in the public square, defending religious freedom at home and abroad so that all might live in peace for the glory of God. Founder and President of the mission of Hope and Mercy, Father Andre has learned the secret to safety, joy and peace. Love God and one another. Now, let us spend 33 minutes on the Lord’s day, retuning ourselves to the truth of love in the hands of God. Praise be the most holy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now and forever our man. See how the cross of the Lord stands revealed as a tree of life. My friends, in our life we see many disturbing events, we see many walls, we see many calamities, we see many sufferings on many levels. Yet also in our lives, we experience many joys, we experience good times, we experience bad times. During days and during nights, I wonder sometimes how many people think of tranquility, peace, serenity, surrender. People have peaceful nights of sleep. It’s common in our culture in the United States and also in many cultures in the world that people become restless at night, may not be able to sleep. It’s very common sometimes that we feel and somehow we are in need for love from around us. Even though we could be in a house filled with people, to people, three people, four people, seven people, no matter how much, no many, the number of the people are around us. But the emptiness, the void that we have on the hands, on the inside sometimes, and somehow overwhelms us, overcome the beautiful company that we have around. I am referring to an experience of a void, an experience of a major lack of satisfaction in life. And I hope that this case is not the case of many people in the world, even though I think many people suffer from empty feelings, from empty emotions, they suffer from such a void. And a place where they are found as if there is no one for them there, no one is there to listen, no one is there to hug them in times of need, no one is there for them to listen to them in times of need, no one is there for them to care for their needs when they are reading something. But also we see in this life that we have many people who are meant to help others, we see many people whose main job, main faculty, main time spending, they are the care giver. And you know, beautiful people who they give care for other people. These people in some how represent a wonderful aspect of the presence of God in our midst. Sometimes they give us things that we expect from our fathers. At other times they give us things that we would have expected from our husbands and wives or from our children, for instance, or children they expected from their own families and their own parents. It’s amazing to see that how life is balanced and somehow where at many times people experience while they are feeling the loneliness inside their families, they experience a lot of love from other people around them. As a foremost God calls a human being and when they are rejected in a place, they go to another place and they keep wandering around, until their heart settles in a place where they feel safe, where they feel balanced, where they feel loved, where they feel cared for. So people in general look for it is good. This is a point of this introduction but different from evil. We are still speaking about the seventh petition in the prayer of our father. We are in the month of October. We are on this beautiful Sunday and the month of the most Holy Rosary. The Rosary which was given as we spoke about last Sunday and the children of Fatima’s experience to pray for peace and then renewed in Medi-Gol-Jay and before that in Lourdes and before that in San Luis, the more full and before that of course was Saint Dominic and Saint-Acquitin de la Bure and Catherine de Siena and many many many of the saints in history of the Church who knew how to benefit and how to listen to the voice of heaven, telling them about the immense rewards and the influence and power and authority that comes along with the prayer of the Rosary. And one of the sounds we say here is a king of my own choosing. “Who will rule on Mount Zion?” It is so unique in the Bible the concept of the king. God is a king of course. The concept of the king comes with the people, the people who are in need for somebody to manage them, to lead them, to guide them. However the concept of the king and the Bible goes beyond that. This is a king who lays down his life to offer his life for the sake of his people. The concept of the king and the Bible also goes even beyond that. This is a king who left his kingdom. You know this experience in the epistle to the Philippi, Saint Paul speaks about the Greek term, “Kenozis,” “Kenozis of the Lord or the God who emptied himself.” You know we human beings who experience emptiness most of the time even though we have probably millions of dollars in our bank accounts. You know people experience emptiness even though they have authority sometimes, right? Rulers of the world, they have Lara. They have Lara authority. They enjoy lots of power and somehow. But then they feel empty on the inside. Even sometimes in the world of religion, you know, you see people probably making up for certain things and then you see them dressed up and such. You know what Jesus used to say about the Pharisees? They used to stand on the corners of the streets and so people would know that they are fasting. And then when they go to the temple, they would do the arms given and they would proclaim it and they would sound the trumpet that this Pharisee gave so much and then they would dress up with these big long dresses of big hymns and big symbols on their chest and the pectoral symbols on their chest and miters on their heads. And Jesus criticized all of that for those people talking about the religion from outside and from the inside. He calls them, they are like walking tombs, like walking tombs. He calls them the Dan of Vipers. The bottom line, today even in the United States, we hear also news about rich people doing the parties and unfortunately spending so much on narcotics and falling into some horrible things. You know, I do not want to talk about the things on Sunday morning, but just to tell you how deep is the experience of void in humanity. What would make a human being who is very powerful, who has a lot of possessions, huge mentions and houses and private airplanes, and make a lot of money and a huge income, what would make those people to feel life, they would go and then they would spend their time in whether unfortunately some bad behavior and doing narcotics, doing horrible things with other people as well. It’s just like they live the vice and they lower themselves to the level of animals, to the level of like horrible instinct of being animals, to the level of pleasure. Because of emptiness, right? Because they are experiencing certain void. So this is a sense of a kingship on earth, but the sense of a king in heaven, as God had everything, do you know how many angels that Jesus Christ had? Oh, probably 60 trillions of angels, at least in the book of Job. I think there is a number that we count the angels. Do you know that God, how many stories he has to watch? How many things and the cosmos? How many human beings? How many elements in a creation? And the creation continues to be and continues to grow and continues to evolve. And the creation continues to evolve and it continues to expand itself beyond measures because God’s soul filled with love, so filled with life, so filled with giving. So that God who is served by millions and thousands of thousands of merits and millions of angels in heaven, that God who was in heaven on the throne and the entire cosmos serves him, this is God that same Paul and the letter to the Philippines tells us he emptied himself from all his king and he came down to earth and he dwelt in the version Mary’s womb. He became a little child, he who sits on the throne of the Cherugin, decides to become the immanaged, the God with us. It’s great, wonderful, unique approach to kingship. And also another, you know, this experience of a king, even his kingdom, not only even his kingdom, but empty in himself from his kingdom. So the relationship, the connection between Jesus Christ as king and his kingship and his kingdom is actually like the relationship of the soul to the body, of the spirit to the body. The body is the kingdom, Jesus is a soul inside his body and all the sudden he empties himself, K and Osis. We call this in the Greek language and Bible, K and Osis, when God emptied himself from his kingship, from his kingdom and then he comes down onto planet earth and incarnate and the womb of the virgin mother Mary to become a little child. More than this, an experience of kingship, God not all the empties himself from his kingship, but he comes and he is born in a stable. He comes and he is born in a little place and a stable in Bethlehem. He was rejected even to be received inside a given motel or inside the hospitality house. He did not have any place where he could claim I was born in this house or I was born in this inn. There was no room in the inn for Jesus Christ, the son of God, the Immanuel, the God who is us, who emptied himself from all his kingdom, who is the cause and the source of everything that is in creation. Yet when he came to be born, he was born in a manger. This is the meaning of kingship and the sense of the Lord who owns it all. He left everything, he became a little child. But there was also a deeper meaning for the kingship of God, the kingship of Jesus Christ. Not only he left himself, not only he was born in a stable in a manger, not only there was no room for him and in. But also he was a king of love because he said and God so much loved the world to the point that he himself, all the way loved humanity to a death, death on the cross. So this God who is a source of life, this God who is life himself comes and he embraces death, the opposite, God the life embraces the opposite, which is death. And then through death he gives us life and he definitely defeats death and tramples death by death. So from his empty in himself to come to become a child, not only it’s enough for him, it wasn’t enough for him to come down and empty himself and then embraces us in our human nature. But he actually embraced death. He went to the lowest places in the abyss, we say, in a sheyale, we say in another world, we say, we say into the tomb and there from the tomb in the midst of the night, the light bursts and you know and he defeats death and he tramples death by death and the stone that sealed the tomb was burst open and the Lord, the risen Lord walks out and with him are risen all the dead and the faithful departed and then he opens for us the gate of the entire heaven. This is a king who left his kingdom, went into a big military operation, beyond the enemies land, all the way to the castle of Satan, to death itself. There he destroys Satan, there he destroys death and from there he frees the souls of all his loved ones who were held captive by the devil there and this is why Christianity is the foundation of life on planet Earth. This is why the resurrection of the Lord of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith as a question in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How beautiful is that? My friends, we have a king who rejected the kingdom in order for him to save us, we have a king who rejected even life freely rejected life freely he gave his life. You remember when Jesus stood in a face of Pilate and Pilate was condemning Jesus right and Pilate told him, you have to answer, I have authority and I can give an order and they will kill him and Jesus told them, you have no authority, he had not been given to you from above, I have freedom, I have the freedom to give my life and to take it back. So I decide to give my life. Imagine this king left the bank, the treasure, the gold and everything, he gave himself all the way into the hands of his enemies and then when they took him and they tried to swallow him and even tried to eat him up and to digest him From the inside of their tombs he destroyed them, and he tied Satan into another world, he crushed them down there. And he illuminated the depths of the buttons and arrows from the tomb. And this is when we say that popular waith forgotten a piece as Christ prists and acts scarically. This is the king that is the Messiah, this is the king that is the conqueror, this is the king that is the higher priest, this is the king who is God, the most holy name of God the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen, my friends. With that, I want us to take a moment and we want to pray. Before we see how we, on the other hand, as human beings, when we look at our behavior and we see how many people on earth are rejecting God more and more. You know, the rejection of God by humanity is an existential threat against the peace of the world. There is a difference in the death of Christ and the action of God. There is a difference between God leaving his kingdom and coming down to us to embrace us while we reject God and embrace death. He had the power to come down and in that he trampled death by death. But when we die, unfortunately if we reject God, we go to hell. We go to the place of unseason fire, where the fire does not get extinguished, where the pain and the sufferings are eternal. It’s crazy. It’s basically when we wish death, when we wish people, when we reject God, when we step away from our values, we refuse to repent, we refuse to do good things for others. When we commit filing acts, when we commit the acts of false accusations and destroy others and fraud others, and destroy the characters of others and defame others and hurt others. When we speak bad about others, when we gossip about others, when we make up stories about others, just out of envy, out of jealousy, out of hate. This is really a rejection of God. This is a great evil. We will be uttering against one another. So for this, we need to always pray, the our Father prayer, but deliver us from evil and remember that. With that, let’s see in a Psalm number two. We want to take a moment to pray. Pray together, my friends. Psalm number two. And see how the Messiah, King and Conqueror acts in order to protect his people and to destroy all those kings who rejected them. So let us pray. O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is not and will be forever a man. Here is a King of my own choosing, royal rule on Mount Zion. Why this tumult among nations, among the peoples, this useless murmuring? They arise the kings of the earth, princes the plot against the Lord and his anointed. Come, let us break their fatters, come, let us cast off the reoc. He who sits in the heavens laughs. The Lord is laughing them to score. Then he will speak in his anger. His rage will strike them with terror. It is I who have set up my King on Zion, my holy mountain. I will announce the decree of the Lord. The Lord said to me, “You are my Son. It is I who have begotten you this day. Ask, and I shall be with you the nations. I put the ends of the earth in your possession. With a rod of iron you will break them, shatter them like a pate or a jar. Now, O kings, understand. Take warning, rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with awe and trembling. Pay him your homage. Last, he be angry and you perish. For suddenly his anger will place. Here is the King of my own choosing. Who will rule on Mount Zion. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and will be forever. Amen. Good Holy Sunday morning, my friends. Again and again with these beautiful menace that we spent together. Remember that the Lord God has given to his peoples and the peoples of the world. Basically, a big inheritance. But remember also that God has given the world an inheritance. He has given us his son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Can you believe that? You know, sometimes people, they highly value and they look as high as team to people depending on the amount of money they give them or the amount of interest or the level of job they give them or the type of gift they offer for them or the type of care they offer for them. And you say, “Oh, wow, so I’m so, so good.” They gave me this. They did that for me. Sometimes we look at them doing things for others as well. But can you believe that you ever imagine that God gave Himself as gift for us? This is the kingship of God. Did you believe, can you even imagine, can you wrap your mind around this? That God gave Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, as a gift for us. Who would understand that? Who can comprehend that? I think that’s exactly where the first room I see in our faith as Christians and in the reality of the world that is happening around us. I decided to give a gift. And the gift He gave is His only Son. What do you do usually when you receive a gift? I mean, just look at the experience of your child at Christmas, for instance. As now we are drawing near the time of Advent and the time of entering again into the season of the awakening of the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the flesh. You give a child a gift. Probably naturally, the child, you know, when I was a little boy and my dad gave me a cameo or give me like a some sort of, you know, I used to get like small airplane for instance or a big, beautiful car or a big cameo. I would take it into pieces. I would break it into pieces. And then that would be five, six days. And then even the bicycle when I got my first bicycle, I decided I didn’t know what to do. So I started taking it into pieces apart basically to learn how to put it back together. You know, it is natural for us as human beings when we are children not to value, not to look as high as team to the gift that we are being given. Except that in this term, we have been given Jesus Christ as the bread of life. We have been given Jesus Christ as the way to God. We have been given Jesus Christ the truth of God the way the truth and the life. It is a shame to look at the people around and the people around and to see how we are hurting the Lord Jesus Christ. How we are disregarding and discarding of that gift, the gift of life. People choose death, people choose to life, people choose to kill it, people choose to harm others, people choose to deny the truth, people choose to deny the way, people choose to deny their faith, their hope, their love. People used to deny, given others hope as well. We have so many of these problems around us and if you take this and you put it on the level of a nation. Now how about you imagine an entire nation that is rejecting God? How about you imagine an entire nation doing an uttering acts of evil against God and against his children? Look at the commoners’ regime, for instance. Look at the atheist regimes in the world. In areas of the world who do not practice the true faith of God or fating God in general, look at the fruit of the labors of their hands. If people do not love what else they are going to practice except hate. When people do not live in the truth what else they are going to experience and they are going to preach about except doubt. People do not value the truth, what else they are going to preach and circle around except the lies. When people do not value innocence and peace, what else they are going to circle around and spread around except wars and terrors. And this is exactly what the problem of the world is today. It is my hope, my prayer, as Father Andre speaking to you and the mission of hope and mercy that we do not reject God, my friends. That we really as God to deliver us from evil by protecting God’s most holy name and being good to one another. I ask you please take a moment, go visit our website, missionofhopeandmursy.org, that is missionofhopeandmursy.org. And then I ask you to please share a gift of yourselves and give the people in Lebanon specifically the Christians who are suffering so horribly and so terribly. A little gift that they can buy blanket, a little gift that we can get milk for children, a little gift that we can get them food, we can move them to safety, we can find them a rest in place, we can get them small medication. Do not know what’s happening in Lebanon, just go on the news or go on our website, missionofhopeandmursy.org, that is missionofhopeandmursy.org. And there you can look at the news and you can follow us and you can donate to the cause of saving the Christians in the last fortress that has remained until today standing in the middle of the east. And with that I want us to take a moment of silence and for those who are leaving now to their Sunday worship or coming back to prepare for their food and for their meal. I wanted to hug all of your family members and help them. God bless us all and I love you all. And remember you have brothers and sisters today in the world, in areas of wars. I mean I have not one single element of food to be able to feed their children or to eat. Take of them with us and may God bless us. And now my friends after this little bit of a moment of time that we spent together, I want us to continue basically looking at the challenges that we have ahead of us. It’s the examination of us. Remember I’m just saying this time, deliver us from evil depends a lot on behavior of people who decide to reject God. If an entire nation or an empire of humanity through its policies that it adapts or through its just a system that it adapts or the type of security forces that it uses or the type of a few may a few months say the type of expansion of its own power through which it decides to conquer the world. We could conquer the world by sending food. We could conquer the world by sharing medication and award. We could conquer the world by sharing beautiful iPads, beautiful phones, beautiful smart learnings or books or goods or inventions or cars or heaters. And anything that is good that we’re doing about we as people in the United States that we go to buy that is good for us and the beneficial from people or from the big source of you know the wallmarks of the world or the little source even in our neighborhoods. The food that we might share these are good things to share in the world and in such a way we will be practicing the kingship of Jesus Christ. You know what he said in a Gospel of Matthew chapter 25 I was hungry and you fed me our thirsty and you gave me to drink. I was naked and you covered me I was a stranger and you hosted me I was in prison and you visited me I was sick and you cared for me come or you blessed of my father in here in the kingdom prepared for you of my father prepared for you since the foundation of the world. Then those people who looked at that king and they tell him Lord when did we see you naked when did you see you hungry when did we see you thirsty when did we see you in prison or when did we see you as stranger or when did we see you sick and we cared for you. And the law said and said amen amen to you every time you did this one of these little brothers and sisters of mine to me you did it. The good we do with others the good we do with others is basically we are doing to us Jesus Christ I always imagine this one in a mission of hope and mercy we do a good act a generous act on your behalf or on behalf of donor with a person of suffering whether we buy medication for a person who cannot afford it whether we buy now blankets and covers and pillows and mattresses to people who otherwise have been basically dislocated. They they had to move they were forced to move from their homes and South Lebanon during this war you know last week or two weeks ago immediately we went ahead and we bought 300 mattresses 300 covers 100 blankets and we gave them to those people I started receiving on my phone with thank God we thank God we thank God many messages came to my phone and when people I do not know people I I do not know because you know not every person we help we know but we know we know we are not going to be a person of the world. We know but we know that they are loved by God of course and from the people we had you know how many people praise God those people with the good things we do with them when they thank God they lift us up to God and even though they do not know us by name they have not seen us by face trust me in their invention they know where they came from and they become our intercessors before God they tell God this person this father Andre this mission of hope and mercy. This don’t so and so any end of the summer in the middle of the midway summer in the middle of Denver somewhere in the middle of a place in Colorado it was them who when I was a stranger hosted me it was them through the mission of hope and mercy when I was hungry they gave me my food when I was sick they gave me my medication when I was being targeted by bombs they moved me to safe. Friends do not give up doing good I beg you do your examination of conscience remember if we don’t do a good examination of conscience we are responsible for the deep your ration of the status of peace unless we do good examination of conscience and take a good action after that to repent to regret to reject the evil to embrace God again to confess our faith in God remember you to our responsible for the deterioration of the stability in this world every bad behavior we don’t correct every time we reject God every time we abstain from living in accordance with the pen can man and the validity of the good human contact remember you will be responsible for the deterioration and the pain and the suffering. And it probably probably the possibility of this bad event the third world war we have events happening in the world we could tell that Satan declared a war on God’s children all over the world this is a fact and I invite you on the show to please go back and repent please go back and do your masses please go back and go to go to confession please repent and become charitable please repent pray the Holy Rosary read the Holy Bible go attend the sacraments please repent and pray to the Holy Spirit for the true inspiration that through those prayers you become the best shield that protect life protect peace and the world and there won’t be as many people hungry there won’t be as many people naked there won’t be as many people strangers. Otherwise if you do not do that and you decide to stay indifferent remember what is said the worst evil good people can do is when good people don’t do nothing to prevent the evil and for that we will be judged and I wish that none of us will be judged may through the powerful intercession of our ladies the Virgin Mary mother of God God bless us all and protect us from all evil and do not forget to go on our website mission of hope and mercy that we will be judged.
