[Music] At age 10, Father Andre escaped Christian massacres by living in caves and mountain Lebanon with his family. Today, Father Andre works tirelessly to encourage American leaders to keep God in the public square, defending religious freedom at home and abroad so that all might live in peace for the glory of God. Founder and President of the mission of Hope and Mercy, Father Andre has learned the secret to safety, joy and peace. Love God and one another. Now, let us spend 33 minutes on the Lord’s day, retuning ourselves to the truth of love in the hands of God. Praise me the most holy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now and forever and ever a man. Good Holy Sunday morning, my dearly beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ. You know, the month of August is a month that is filled with special festivities actually in our Christian calendar in general. You know, August 6, we have celebrated the feast day of the transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ on Mount Taber, where James and John and Peter were taken by Jesus and then there on the mountain he was revealed. He was totally manifested and as fullness of divinity was Elijah and Moses, he was transfigured, we say. He was transfigured, though his divinity became revealing in front of his disciples on August 15th. One of the oldest feast days in Christianity is set for our Lady, the Virgin Mother of God, in her assumption into heaven both in body and soul. And then on August 22nd, the church also celebrated the feast of the nation of the Virgin Mary as she now has been assumed into heaven is seated. And with the Holy Trinity, the queen sits on the right side of her son, the king of kings, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, just like Barciba, or the mother of Solomon, the king has set to his right and he always listens to her petitions or to her wishes in somehow. That’s the power of the intercession we call it. That is the power of love between Jesus Christ and his mother, between God. And the fruit of the salvation that believed in every word came from the Father. As we remember, and the Gospel of Luke when the angel came to the Virgin Mary, announced to her the birth of a son of God from her, she said, “May it be done to me according to thy word.” And this is why the angel called her, “Hail, favorite one.” The Lord is with him. You know, for those who are listening to the show for the first time, I want to welcome you. This is Father Andrei and the mission of hope, mercy, and myself. We welcome you. Mission of hope, mercy is the mission that aid, save, and educate about the Christian plight that is happening in the world, especially now in the Middle East and Lebanon. But also in our home, we try to raise awareness about issues, we try to promote conflict resolutions, we try to defend religious freedom. We also try to assist people through charity, whether charity by means of finding and food, or finding a medication, or finding a way to a stable life in case they have been threatened in their livelihood and their housing. And also in emergency means for a community to grow when they lack after certain incidents or due to a general attack or to some sort of a disaster, they lack certain substantial need, part of the infrastructure for them to be able to have a life. And of course, for education as well, we try to assist students to be able to pay for their school, to be able for parents, basically, to be able to pay for tuition for their children, and afford a good education for them. We do this and some other things as well. In Lebanon, and I want to thank the donors, and I want to encourage you, my friends, please spread the good message. Say good word about the mission of hope and mercy to your friends and visit missionofhopeandmursy.org. That is missionofhopeandmursy.org. So welcome again to our friends and to our new friends. I want to remind us that we are still speaking about the various petitions in the prayer of the our father. It’s been a while we’ve been speaking about the prayer of the our father. We have been drawing our interpretations and the meditations over the prayer of the our father from the book of 12 Benedict XVI, or Joseph Ratzinger, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus of Nazareth, the book in which he speaks about Jesus from baptism and adjording to the transfiguration. And any interpretation of the prayer of the our father, now we come to speak this morning about the seventh petition, the seventh petition, which is towards the end. So when we say the our father who art in heaven, how it would be by name, by kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven. These are called the petitions, every sentence, every wish, every intercession almost is called petition. Give us this day our daily bread, for instance, this is called the petition. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those which were spiced against us. This is a petition and deliver and lead us not into temptation. This is a petition. And now the seventh petition that we speak about this morning together, but deliver us from evil, but deliver us from evil. So today we will be talking about this, but deliver us from evil. What exactly we want to be delivered from? What exactly? We want to be delivered from. We have started this conversation about, but deliver us from evil. And last Sunday we said that God the Father is the center of our faith. In our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, of course, He leads us to the Father. And as center for our faith, God the Father is one who rescues redeems and frees us, to free us basically, to redeem us, to rescues. This is what we have spoken about last Sunday on this radio show. But today we want to speak in the same petition, but deliver us from evil. But we want to go more concretely into what matters to us. What do we want to be delivered from exactly? What do we want to be delivered from exactly? So to give you an example, how do we define evil to begin with if I ask us anything that is not pleasant, right? Anything that could be a vice. Anything that causes harm and injury, guilt, theft, for instance, lying, for instance, and not respecting the Sabbath, right? denouncing our faith in God, being all sad, not appreciating life, hurting somebody whether physically or especially giving false witness. This is horrible. And you know, this is horrible. I don’t know. I don’t know my friends, many people, I guess, these days, they take a pride, I guess, in lying, in giving false witness about somebody, causing harm and injury, you know, trapping somebody, lying about someone, hating someone, trapping someone, setting someone up to failure. All of those who have caused these side types of scandals and doubts, who have lied about a person who’s just yet, they depict them as evil, making up stories and making up things to accuse people so they can get rid of them. You have no idea how much endanger you have been, you have endangered your salvation, but you have made that choice. There’s another weakness. This is a free will action. And when people make those type of free will action to themselves produce evil, to themselves be the tools of Satan, how called them the useful idiots. Those also are people who cause sadness, who cause scandals in the world. Sometimes it hurts more because they don’t even know what we’re talking about. It’s like just like a block, almost. It’s a curse. They have nothing in them from the Holy Spirit, almost. They lie to their teeth, they have a high sounding words, they think they are righteous, they live filled on themselves, and those people who cause lots of injuries around them. Imagine somebody taking a pride for instance, saying, “Let’s say a lady goes or a girl goes, ‘Oh, I am so and so, and I’m free to do whatever I want to do with my body.’ And I already aborted five children, five babies, five infants, let’s say, what’s good about this? That’s a sort of evil. And I say evil by choice sometimes, right? And it hurts that, it hurts life, it’s a murder. So those sorts of evils, unfortunately, they happen in our lives. And that’s why the prayer of the our father is the antidote, is the weapon we need to use when we pray every time. We have to pray that may God deliver us from these people who are evil and also deliver them from being trapped all the way because I believe in conversion, I believe in repentance, if they humble themselves and return to that, we shall pray for them and offer prayers and the Holy Eucharist in a special way for them. What do we want to be delivered from again? Again, I would say, for instance, sickness and illnesses, these are evils that we cannot control. Somebody slaps us, somebody hates us, somebody fires us from our jobs, somebody’s given false witness about us, engines, and pains that they inflict upon us, and accident that happens, sadness, illnesses, depressions, addictions, those are evil things, right? Because they harm us. They block us from fulfilling ourselves and fulfilling our potential, living our life the way God wants us to live and to be as a perfect beings. These are evil things in some way. And we pray against that, we say, but they were asked from evil. But there is also sort of evil that is the personal evil or known to be the evil one. Unfortunately, these we find in cases of severe possessions, for instance, objective possessions when an evil spirit takes over a human being and torment those of human beings and only by the power and the ministry and authority of exorcism and holy church that those people will be delivered by Kasi, Van Gris, and the fullness of authority of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the power of his holy and mighty and victorious cross that these people will be delivered and Satan will be cast out and go to the foot of the cross where he will be crushed under the feet of our lady, the immaculate conception and the fruit of her womb, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where he has no power over us at all and he will burn in hell under the foot of the cross. Our Lord Jesus Christ bind him for eternity from hurting us or our families or our loved ones. These are the evil things that we want God to deliver us from. So this is what we will be speaking about on this Holy Sunday morning in the use of the minister we will spend together and this is what I call the seventh petition during the prayer of the hour other in which we say but deliver us from evil. The entire mystery then of our existence is rendered present. Our entire humanity becomes a present before God and so is evil summon before God as well. So is evil summon before God in this prayer that we are praying ourselves as Jesus taught us. We have entered to the court of life and death. It is us versus evil or it is us versus the evil one with all of our sadness. This was all the bad things that this evil caused against us. We bring them. We summon them all and we put them in front of God in the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that’s the authority that we have been given in the seventh petition. So on one hand and the seventh petition when we pray but deliver us from evil we see the total manifestation of all the evil things being my apology. We have been cut out and we continue now with our sorry for the internet connection. So bring all these bad and horrible things that we suffer from and summon them up and put them before the Lord. We trust and say Jesus I trust him right and then summon them up and including the evil one that says being summoned before the throne of God before the holy cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Cover yourself with the pure blood and the precious blood covered the computers, covered everything in the means of communication. And as I was telling us my friends what is it that we want to be delivered from. So on one hand and the seventh petition when we pray but deliver us from evil we see the total manifestation as I’m saying of all evil things and of the evil one itself being summoned before the throne of God. You have no idea again what a power of reality that is that God in his most powerful love shares with us the oneness of his divine will according to which he tells us I have defeated the evil one for you and I also have said it’s limits not to hurt your salvation. Yes evil cannot hurt our salvation we have to believe that. It’s a fact it’s an objective fact because God is only one and God is God and God is good. God will not allow anything evil to happen to us that harms our salvation or his love for us or our love for him. This is what Jesus meant when he said to us you know in a Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 33 that is the Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 33. These things I have spoken on to you that in me you might have peace. There is no peace outside of Jesus Christ for us my friends for any faith for for any person honestly who come to know the Lord and say, “Well Jesus Christ, He is the Lord that takes all our evil way. He is the Lord who heals us. He is the Lord who makes sense of our suffering, of our pain, turns it into redemption, turns it into victory. He takes us from lumps. He takes us from being defeated. He takes us from being accused. He takes us from being hated. He takes us from being envy by others and the people who tweet us with jealousy and everything from being rejected and he puts us in the center of attention of God the Father. He kills us into the bosom of his divine heart and he bleeds life for us. From his divine blood he gives us salvation and he puts in new blood and us and he infreshes us with eternal salvation. At least we have this eternal salvation to enjoy and in this passing word I am sure he also showed to us his victory because he says as well in the world, but the be of good cheer, be happy, be joyful. I have overcome the world. I have in this is a Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 3, he is together as familiar as you are with the prayer of the our Father. I want us to realize its potency, its power, its authority. This prayer comes with all the authority which was given to Jesus Christ our Lord in heaven and on earth. He gives us to use his words so we too can summon everything that bothers us. Everything that is negative. We put it with Jonah to every altar in what Jerusalem Catholic mass offered with every Bible that has been proclaimed in every church, every community to all more are gathered in name of our Lord and say, “Jesus Christ, He is there with us, we bring all these evil things. We summon them all and this prayer comes with all the authority that Jesus gave us. I hope and I pray that from now on when we will pray the our Father prayer, we trust in our hearts. We know in our minds how powerful and how victorious this prayer is, which is given to us by Jesus Christ. His consoling our hearts is reaching to us with authority, his power and it takes objective, objective effects. It has objective effects actually this prayer. It matters. Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It shows to us with the proof, with proclamation, with the testimony that we ourselves will give, that Jesus is the only son of the living God and is our Redeemer God. Our life is present through, our life is present in the prayer of our Father. Imagine every time when we pray that our Father, how much our entire life becomes a present in the prayer of our Father. We give it as a gift. We give our life as a gift to our Father in the prayer of our Father and then lips in a prayer. How beautiful it is when I pray the prayer of the Lord in a Aramaic language. Not that this is a disadvantage for others who do not know it. It’s easy to learn it in Aramaic but it’s so beautiful to pray in such a sacred way that we are given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We bring into it our hopes, our fears, our aspirations, our failures, our complaints, our tears. We bring our friends and our enemies, our losses, all the power of the evil one and all that is in those who are hurting us. We have been given the authority by Jesus to bring them all to put them in one big bouquet. A lot of fail people came that smells bad I guess but we bring them in a big bouquet and we offer them with some of them all up with a fullness of authority. We put them, we place them before God Almighty’s divine throne. So that God will love us, vindicate us, hide us, cover us, defend us, protect us, you know, redeem us, save us and serve us the meal. Serve us in your Ensam 23. You have placed a table before me. Have anointed my head, the oil of gladness and I shall dwell in house of the Lord all the days of my life. Amen. Amen. Truthfully. Amen. This is a vindication which God will give us before all of our enemies where that said thinks is trying telling the evil one and all these evil people. My children, you do not touch because these are mine. Only if full will not understand the power of the prayer of the our Father, my friends. Hallelujah. So enjoy it. Open your mouth, open your lips. Those who are listening to us on this beautiful radio show this morning with Father under all these menace that we spend together. Open your heart, raise your eyes, open your hands in the form of a cross, extend them high up and think about all these negativities and don’t curse, don’t curse. Don’t say anything bad. Just pray to our Father and trust me, trust in Jesus. All of these things will disappear, will vanish and God will crush them under the feet of our cause of the redemption. And her Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior came unto earth. She represents our human nature that has been in unity to the most effect of love to the nature of God and Jesus Christ our Lord and in dwelling of the Holy Spirit. In fact, there is this wonderful Psalm that explains exactly what I want to share with you this morning. Demonstrate in the power of the our Father prayer and there is Psalm 53. There is Psalm 53. So let us take a moment. Please let us turn to our Bibles and before we continue with our conversation. Let us pray Psalm 53, followed by the our Father and I will pray it in Arabic and the prayer of the Hail Mary and the glory be. I want to see us all experiencing on this morning the power of that, the joy from God, the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ and His mighty presence with us. Let us all exclaim Emmanuel the Lord with us. Emmanuel the Lord with us. Now let us all exclaim Marana, Ta, Marana, Ta, Lord come Lord who has come Lord come again. Amen. Amen. So now my friends, let us pray. Oh God come to my assistance. Oh Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As the beginning is now and ever shall be out of the name of Hallelujah. If you’re ready my friends, let us pray together with Psalm 53. The fool says in his heart, there is no. They are corrupt and they are evil, are vile. There is no one who does good on all and who seek God. Everyone has turned away. All have become corrupt. There is no one who does good, not even one. Do all these evil doors know nothing? They devour my people as though eaten bread. They never call on God. But there they are, overwhelmed with dread. Where there was nothing to dread. God scattered the bones of those who attacked you. You put them to shame for God despised them. All that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion. When God restores his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad. Let us now pray the our Father in our name together. T This was the hour Father Prayer in the Aramaic language of our Lord. Let us pray the Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with you. Blessed are thou among women. Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners. Now and at the hour of our death, amen. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and every shall be world without any. As I said before, my friends, there is a positive twist in the seventh petition in our Father when we say, but deliver us from evil. It means we trust in God. It means we know that God gave us the authority to bring to him all the powers of evil that he can dismantle, that we can crush him. He can do whatever he wants to do according to his divine will. And even the evil one, even the evil one, especially itself, to be summoned and brought before God so that God will draw the line and limits for the evil one not to hurt our salvation. Be happy for God is superior to all. Let us take this moment and enjoy God’s deliverance from all the effects of evil that he will liberate us, he will free us, he will restore us from all oppressions, from all forms of hate, from our innocence again. To this we thank God Almighty. Let us all say, amen. And now my friends, we shall continue after this amen in such a way that we know we find ourselves a present in a profound oneness with God’s will and participants in a fullness of his authority as we experience, as we experience the ultimate power of being delivered from evil. Let us try now to incandcrete to explain this. What does exactly the prayer of the our father becomes most effective? As being the prayer of Christ Himself, not only our prayer, it’s the prayer of Christ Himself, praying in our mouth, on our lips, the prayer of the our father, the he, Jesus Himself in this divine will and is a human will, wants to render to Almighty God. Remember. So I’m going to lay out to you some verses of the Bible, at least in four different places that prove to us how Jesus basically assembled His will Himself and united Himself to us. If you remember Jesus said in a Gospel of Matthew chapter 18, verse 20, “For over two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” That’s one place. If you are praying, bring the petition of our Lord Jesus Christ, ask Him to be present in a Holy Spirit. If you have even no one with you, your guardian angel is your second one, most with you. Sometimes we have more than one guardian angel. It counts and Jesus counts. Also, in the Gospel of Luke chapter 22, verse 19, Jesus said, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.” So not only we are gathered in Jesus’ name, when we pray with our guardian angel, our loved ones in our families and our homes, our places, worship and our churches, during the Holy Eucharist, during the Proclamation of the Bible, in the praise of worship, we are actually praying as well as the body of Christ being given to us. And He asked us to do this in memory of Him. It is definitely the near reference to celebrate the whole Eucharist. To celebrate the Last Supper that Jesus Himself did with His disciples, because this is what He permanently stated, “I will be there with you every time you do this in memory of me.” So this is a specific form of a prayer, it’s the prayer of the Last Supper in which the priest with the community prays and a valid ordination, you know, do this in memory of me when he repeats the words of the consecration over the bread and the words of the consecration over the wine. And the bread becomes the body of Christ and the wine becomes the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. How do we know this? Because in John chapter 6 verse 50, in John chapter 6 verse 53, remember what Jesus tells us. “I am telling you the truth, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you will not have life in yourselves.” The prayer of the Our Father is to contain life in ourselves. The prayer of the Our Father is to free us from death. All these feelings of negativity, the temptations of the evil. Why do we want to be delivered from evil? What is exactly the evil we want to be delivered from is death. This is the ultimate evil we want to be delivered from. And these verses of the Bible, Jesus tells us first He’s initiating us like children, gather with your guardian angel, gather with your family and anytime you have two or more, pray in my name, I will be there with you. So we are protected. Jesus is with us. And when Jesus is with us, Jesus takes us because He is the way, He is the truth and He is the life. Amen. Amen to that. Jesus is the way. Jesus is the truth. Jesus is the life. When we pray in His name, He is there with us to guide us on the way to the Father, to be the truth for us with the Father. So the evil one cannot attack us, was lies. But not only this, Jesus gave us His body for us and He asked us to do this in memory of Him. And He told us as well, as I said, unless we eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, we will not have life in ourselves because Jesus will not be with us. It’s very obvious. But also, let us now remember and recall the words of St. Paul in the first epistle to the Corinthians chapter 12 verse 27. He says, “Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is part of it.” And this is so beautiful. You see, I hope you do see it. In the prayer of the our Father, we not only pray in ourselves, in our own self, so the Father, but we pray the prayer of Jesus Christ, the Son of God taught us Himself, that He Himself praised on our behalf with us and through us. And we throw Him, Him through us and we throw Him to the Father and we become one with the Father in Jesus Christ. Amen. This is beautiful. But there is a deeper and higher level of force in this leurison authority. The power in the prayer of our Father is when we pray as a community, especially as a community. When we eat His flesh and drink His blood, the Holy Mass, every Sunday, the Holy Eucharist, we not only pray the our Father in ourselves, not only as Christ taught us, but we become ourselves the mystical body of Christ. We call it enlatinistic or poor is Christy, mystic, corpore is Christy. Who is praying to His Father, Jesus, so mystical body to community, the entire life is restored, is renovated, is regaining its innocence, is being freed from evil, is being freed from death. We give in a resurrection of the by and. This is the highest level of divinely because I am united to God. One with God in Christ Jesus Himself who makes us in the Holy Spirit, living temples for Him and His Father to become and dwell with and the He comes and dwell with us as Jesus said when Jesus answered and said unto Him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my words.” And my Father will love Him and we will come unto Him and make our abode with Him. This is the Gospel of John chapter 14 verse 23. This is by definition what the Holy Eucharist is my friends. The communion of the entire humanity with the Holy Trinity, in the fullness of the human and divine nature of Jesus Christ, in which He defeated all evil. He forgave us our sins. He gave us the benefit of this life and He enabled us to enter again into eternal love. And now my dear God bless us all. Protect us from all evil. Forgive us our sins and bring us all to joy, peace and victory. And our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and my God, bring us to our blessed love. Amen.
