And that is what we’re seeing with these policies, and that’s why it’s so important to engage in this battle of ideas. that is raging in our country right now. Socialism is not about free stuff. And remember, government cannot give to one person what is not first taken away from somebody else. And a perfect example is what we are seeing with all this fraud and these non-governmental organizations and government programs. For example, this whole Somali thing that’s happening in Minneapolis and in Minnesota. saying that there will be government grants, programs, that NGOs, non-governmental organizations, will put together these programs to feed children, daycare, take care of children, and we see that this is just rife with millions, possibly billions of dollars. That is money that is being taken from hardworking Americans, and it’s an assault upon the middle class. And so with this, when Karen Levine and Lauren Levy were in on Friday, we were talking about different economic curves. There was V-shaped curves. There was U-shaped curves. Lauren said that Japan’s economy, it was an L. It went down, and it just stayed static. That’s not what we want. But brought up something new that I’d never heard of, and that’s a K-shaped curve. curve where at the top of the K, so the rich are getting richer. And then the bottom of the K is the, those that are at the bottom of the economic ladder, that’s getting bigger. And that middle is disappearing, which is the American middle class. And that is what is under assault by the World Economic Forum and the globalist elites. And so we are in this third founding of our country, Donald Trump. is putting together programs. Well, he shouldn’t be putting together programs. Let me back that up. We should be reducing the size and scope of government and government grants, money that’s being taken from taxpayers and borrowed from our next generation. We must reduce that and reduce those programs and increase the private sector and uh… so that’s where in this big battle of ideas on that right now uh… be sure and check out our website the colorado union of taxpayers our board meeting is this evening and we have the ratings report on the website now that’s coloradotaxpayer.org but join us it’s only 25 when you join us you will get the weekly email that we send to the legislators and the governor regarding bills that are scheduled for hearing for that week and we choose bills based on the criteria of how does it affect the taxpayers how does it affect tabor colorado’s taxpayers bill of rights because we want to protect that How does it affect property rights? And how does it affect parental choice? And so those are the four things that we really look at. And you need to be informed. Instead of just hearing sound bites or things that politicians or the political parties want you to hear, you need to be informed and make up your own mind. Our word of the day, I went to the word clemency because Governor Polis said that he is considering clemency for Tina Peters, and I sent my… emailed to him and also I called him and left a message with his office asking for him to exhibit mercy and kindness and compassion and release her. And she also, her appeal regarding her conviction is going to be heard this afternoon. Wednesday, I think at 2.30 in the afternoon. And, of course, she’s appealing her case. And it’s crazy that under her appeal that the judge would not let her post bond while this appeal is in process. And so I’m really requesting Governor Polis to offer her clemency. And the word is spelled C-L-E-M-E-N-C-Y. It’s a noun. So we are calling on God. Jared Polis to do the humanitarian thing and offer clemency, mercy, compassion, and kindness to Tina Peters. Our quote of the day, and I went to, I was looking for law and order quotes, and this was a great quote from Henry Hazlitt, and as you know with our young producers, Producer Joe and Producer Luke, we went through one of his books, it’s probably his most famous book, which is Economics in One Lesson. And Henry Hazlitt, he was born in 1894, died in 1993. He was an American journalist, economist, and philosopher known for his advocacy for free markets and classical liberal principles. Over a career spanning more than seven decades, Hazlitt wrote extensively on business, economics, and public policy for prominent publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Nation, The American Mercury, Newsweek, and The New York Times. and he’s best known for his 1946 book, Economics in One Lesson. And it’s a work grounded in the Austrian School of Economics and its belief in the importance of individual liberty in economic decision-making. But he said this, and I chose this because of What’s what’s going on? And of course, it’s the headlines are the anti ICE protests regarding the shooting in Minneapolis regarding the car that was going into the. ICE officers. But this is what Haslitt said. He said, the essential function of the state is to maintain peace, justice, law, and order, and to protect the individual citizen against aggression, violence, theft, and fraud. And again, that is Henry Haslitt. So we’re going to continue these important discussions, and they happen because of the many people that I work with who are great sponsors. I appreciate it. Well, thank you, and we’re working on that as well, Roger. So let’s talk about business just a little bit, and that is cybersecurity. You and I have had a conversation about that, but let’s talk about that again.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. Yeah, I think it’s important. And I want to tell a quick story about a friend that I met here. And he was talking about being concerned with AI and accelerating so fast in our world. And it got to the point where he was concerned about security, cybersecurity. And I brought up the fact that, did you know that there’s a very inexpensive endorsement you can put on your homeowner’s policy that would protect you financially if you were ever compromised. And he was an OIT graduate, very intelligent man, and he said, what? What are you talking about? So I went into a little bit of what he could do by adding an endorsement to his homeowner’s policy that cost somewhere around $60 a year. But, you know, there’s 15.4 million people experiencing identity fraud every a year. So that is a lot of personal information that’s exposed, like driver’s license security, social security numbers, on and on and on. So if you get into that situation where you’re hacked, basically, or there’s a cyber attack, what this endorsement does is pay for data recovery and system restoration costs as a direct result of the cyber attack. That’s number one. There’s about six elements of that coverage. And I’m going to try to go through them The other, number two, is cyber extortion coverage pays for professional assistance from the subject matter expert in cyber extortion response costs for insurers who has experienced a cyber extortion event. So you’ve got a professional in your corner helping you through that. Third is identity restoration, case management. So once you get attacked, what do you do? What’s the first, second, third, fourth move you should make? Well, you get someone assigned to you that will help you execute those steps. The fourth item is identity fraud expense reimbursement. They’ll actually pay up to $50,000 for covered expenses as a result of identity fraud, including cost to obtain credit bureau reports, fees to reapply for loans, telephone and postage, notary, certain legal fees, on and on. Number five, credit monitoring service. After it occurs, they will monitor your credit for you to make sure that all those doors have been locked and note that Sager Thief isn’t coming back into your portfolio. And as far as fraud coverage goes, it helps protect you in the event you’re a victim of fraud. Right. Call up your agent. Pick up your phone. Find out if there are endorsements available to you. And if it is, add it to your policy so you can sleep at night. It’s so inexpensive. It’s worth the extra cost.

And the headline is that the ICE officer who shot the woman in Minneapolis was dragged by a car in a June incident. And I think this is really important to understand. So I wanted to read part of this article and then comment on it. It says, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer who shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good during an immigration operation in Minneapolis Wednesday was assigned to an enforcement and removal operations special response team known as ERO SRT, and he was previously dragged by a car when trying to arrest a man in Bloomington, Minnesota six months ago. In the court records from that incident, the officers identified as Jonathan Ross. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem told reporters Wednesday the officer had been dragged by a car in an incident in June. Now listen to this. In that incident, which took place on June 17, 2025, federal immigration officers attempted to arrest Roberto Carlos Munez, a 39-year-old man previously convicted of sexually assaulting a minor, on an immigrant warrant in St. Paul. As agents tried to conduct a traffic stop and take him into custody, Munez refused orders to roll down his windows or exit the vehicle. An ICE ERO officer broke a rear window and reached inside the car to unlock the door. At that point, Munez put the vehicle in drive, dragging the officer approximately 100 yards, which that’s the length of a football field, with his arm inside the car as Munez accelerated and weaved to try to shake him off. Okay, so let’s just connect this dot. We’ve got people that are here illegally that are assaulting children, Well, children, basically. And we’ve got people then that are protesting us arresting people that are here illegally assaulting children. And so connect the dot, they’re protesting that they want those people to stay here. So this is my commentary on it. Radical activists are using their vehicles as weapons regarding protecting illegal immigration and illegal immigrants. Now, flooding the United States with people who are not assimilating into the United States is a real problem. And if you are here illegally and you want to hurt us, you must go back to your country of origin. And if you are a criminal and you are hurting other people, you must go back to your country of origin. And if you are here for free stuff, and this is money that is taken from hardworking Americans funneled through government and NGO programs that we are seeing as rife with fraud, then you must go back to your country of origin. For those who want to come to America for the American Dream, you must come here legally. Now, last week I made a comment that we should make it easier for those that want to come here legally. And one of our listeners responded and said, Kim, I want to make it more difficult for people to come here legally. And I’ve been thinking about it, and I think that’s a good point, although my understanding from people, friends of mine that have come here legally, they said it is pretty difficult to become a U.S. citizen. But all of these illegal immigrants that were brought in under the Obama, Biden, Harris administration, but also under Republican administrations as well, we have not addressed that, but flooding the country with people that we don’t know well. why they’re here, putting them on public assistance, which means taking money from the American middle class. And so then you see what we’re talking about in the first segment is this K economy, where the rich are getting richer. The have-nots are getting, there’s more and more of them, and the American middle class is disappearing. So we are at a defining moment in our country right now regarding this illegal immigration. So those that are protesting ICE, and I know that ICE is not perfect. It’s difficult to be perfect in these situations. But we must support law and order. And people that are here illegally, not assimilating, this is a big, big problem. So next thing I wanted to comment on, let’s see, is I’ve been thinking a lot about this. And of course, this is from the Colorado Sun. And we talked about it last week that the Republican primary for Colorado governor, several things happened recently. So this is from the Colorado Sun. It says the crowded Republican primary race for Colorado governor received a major jolt in recent days. State Senator Mark Baisley, a Woodland Park Republican, filed Monday to leave the race to run instead for U.S. Senate. Separately, former U.S. Congressman Greg Lopez, another Republican gubernatorial candidate, left the GOP last week to become unaffiliated. He’s still running for governor. And Lopez said this. He said both parties raise money better than they solve problems. And he said that in his video. He said they divide better than they listen. So I’ve been thinking a lot about the gubernatorial race. And with Lopez moving to unaffiliated, he’s not going to be going through the Republican primary. Typically, the way candidates can access the primary ballot is two ways. One is to petition on, and my understanding is in order to do that, the candidate needs to get $1,500. signatures from registered voters from each of the eight congressional districts. And that would have to be Republican voters to access the ballot. The other way is to go through the caucus, county assembly, state assembly process for candidates. And, of course, caucuses normally occur late February, first part of March. I think they have to occur – there’s a certain date in March that they have to occur – And so the caucuses occur, and then from there, people, it’s just neighbors getting together. There are people that are elected to go to the county assembly. There they will vote on candidates for their Senate districts, their House district, and probably other local races that there might be. and then also elect delegates to go to the state convention where they will elect people that will go on to the state ballot, for example, for governor, for state treasurer, secretary of state, attorney general, those particular races. And then also, I think for the Senate as well. So we have this huge field of Republican candidates, and I’m kind of asking why. It seems like we should be getting to a point where we don’t have – it looks crazy what’s going on with all of these candidates. But what I am seeing – and there is State Senator Kirkmeyer – who is running for governor, had put forth legislation a few years ago to get rid of the caucus assembly process and only allow individuals to access the primary ballot via petition. And so I was wondering what is happening here because I’m hearing reports that the Colorado GOP state party does not have a location yet for the state assembly and that has to occur in April and has not let each of the counties know how many delegates they have and that the state party said that they will not pay for the facility insurance, which they have in the past, for each of the county caucuses, well, for the caucuses in the county. and so i’m wondering is are they messing around and not going to have a state assembly and if that’s the case then that’s boxing out all of the candidates that are working to access the ballot via the assembly process so that means that the only people that will access the ballot will be those that are petitioning on and i’m just wondering if this is a strategy to box out certain candidates in favor of other candidates. And so we’ll know if we don’t see the state GOP get their act together and get this figured out to have the caucuses and the assemblies and And the county assemblies and the state assemblies, or if they don’t get it organized and it’s so dysfunctional that people are up in arms about it. And again, that would be boxing other candidates out in favor of one particular candidate. And that is not the way it’s supposed to be. And so stay tuned. We’re going to talk more about this because I think that this is a very interesting thing that’s happening here in the state regarding our primary elections. So just stay tuned. tuned on that. We’ll continue the discussions on that. And these are so important discussions to have. And I wanted to start with last, I think it was last month, San Francisco went dark for 130,000 of their residents. The electricity went out. But it created a real problem. And you had a recent piece, San Francisco’s Waymo disaster raises serious questions about self-driving cars. So walk us through this.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, there’s a lot of interesting things that happened with that. I assume everyone heard that it was on the regular news literally everywhere that a portion of San Francisco, one of their substations caught fire. Why? We don’t know. We don’t know his age. It could have been anything. But what happened during that time is all those Waymo taxis, because remember, a lot of people don’t own cars in San Francisco because there’s no parking. You have to have a garage. And if you’re renting, rentals typically don’t have garages unless you’re looking at high end. And so that left people that were in Waymos in darkness, literally. So maybe the traffic lights went out. That’s not unusual when the power goes out. You know, your house lights go out and everything. But when the traffic lights go out, The automated taxis, the Waymos, don’t know what to do, and they just stopped. If they weren’t collecting information, they had no backup plan. There was no, let’s use satellites, let’s use the Internet. There was nothing. So the Internet, obviously, is powered by the power stations. So when everything went dark, it went dark. There were some very panicked people who were literally in the middle of an intersection, and the car just stopped. And getting out of that vehicle was also a challenge. Now, it’s not like you’re in a cab and you can just open the door and get out. It locks the doors for your safety. But now it’s locked in the vehicle. You’re locked in the vehicle at an intersection or on the street. And it caused basically an obstacle course for anyone who didn’t. have a Waymo, which is a lot of people. And so this was a big concern by PG&E, who handles the power out in California. They said, oh, we’re working on it. They were in darkness for quite a while. So some people were rescued by others who opened the door from the exterior. Some people used their apps. Some people called. But in the meantime, what happened? was that people realized, I can’t rely on these things because power goes out at any point. What if there was fires? What if there was bad weather? They won’t operate. And if you’re in the vehicle at that time, it causes distrust in automated vehicles, which I have been calling for forever. since the beginning, that that is a huge, huge factor. Why everyone thinks autonomous cars are here, I didn’t say they weren’t possible, because they’ve been possible since 2009 when I rode in my first one from Palo Alto, California to the Consumer Electronics Show. This is a whole different animal. This is people thinking, I can just get in one of these. I don’t even need a car. I can work in the backseat or put my kids in the car and send them to school. Not if there’s no power and there’s no backup plan. And that’s a big problem. However, there’s one major caveat. Tesla was still operating with their robo taxis because they use his starlight system as a backup.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so they had a backup, but you’re saying Waymo, there was no backup at all.
SPEAKER 05 :
Right. The problem with the backup is it would probably pull over to try to figure out what’s going on. lives. You have to do what you and I would do. Okay. Uh, I’m, I’m going to stop at this intersection. Oh, there’s someone at each corner and everyone’s going to take turns just like kindergarten, right? Everyone takes turns to go. Of course, there’s a few, always a few jerks, right? But for the most part, you just wait for the traffic to clear and you go, right? It’s not a big deal. Um, but when it’s a computer behind the steering wheel and that person, um, That’s when things get concerning. Now, I’m not sure what the programming is on the robo taxis, whether it avoids intersections with traffic lights. Um, that we don’t know because still as the traffic lights aren’t working, it has to know to think like you to think I have to let other people take their turns. That’s where we have some serious issues. Again, weather is a big factor. Hacking, another huge factor, has not been protected yet. And then, of course, we’ve got situations that are odd enough based like this that may never happen again or could happen again. The thing is, you can’t predict these type of things.
SPEAKER 08 :
So, Lorne Fix, you mentioned these have been in existence since 2009. And I was on city council from 2012 to 2016. And it was great because I learned somewhat how the sausage is being made. And many times you’ll see PBIs, they’ll have a big meeting about a variety of things. And I remember this was downtown at one of the… The big meeting rooms, I can’t remember. But anyway, it was filled with PBIs. So that would be electeds, bureaucrats, interested parties. And at the time… I think that it was Obama’s Secretary of Transportation was presenting regarding driverless cars and such. And, again, there was probably 400 or 500 people. Again, these would be policymakers. And so this is one of the ways that policy gets put into place is you bring all these people in and you have this agenda. And again, Lauren, this was a room of four or 500 people. And I finally just raised my hand and I said, well, I’m a little concerned about the reliability of this because sometimes my computer goes down and we can’t always trust technology. It was like, Lauren, that I remember…

We had a major technical difficulty while I was making comments about what happens with technology goes down. And we can’t. That’s kind of one of the last things I want to do is to be in a driverless car that I would be locked into and couldn’t get out of during quarantine. You know, electrical power outage. And so anyway, it’s we’re off to a Monday morning. Hopefully, Joe, do we have Lauren back on the line? Okay. Lauren, sorry about the technical difficulties. I was commenting about my concerns about if technology goes down, I really wouldn’t want to be in a driverless car. And I made those comments at a meeting when I was on city council during the Obama administration, 2012 to 2016. I made it at a big meeting and it was like a needle on a record as far as, you know, but it only made a lot of sense to me, Lauren Fix. So your comments.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, actually, it’s funny because technology doesn’t work like it just happened with us in the middle of this interview. This is the type of things that I tell people, you know, it’s easy to rely on it when it works, but every single person has had a problem where you’ve had to reset your phone or your tablet or or, you know, something happens and this is not unusual. So because we’ve all had issues with something not working, like I was trying to open the garage door remotely for a worker today and it didn’t work. So these are the types of things that we become so reliant on making our lives easier and doesn’t work, it’s a problem. So whether it be a robo taxi, a Waymo or any other brand that’s out there, We are far from a world of fully automated vehicles.
SPEAKER 08 :
So after this thing in San Francisco, I think policymakers should really be taking a look at it. And ultimately, though, the bottom line that I saw even back in, whatever, 2012, is this assault upon people having their own vehicles. So you mentioned there’s no parking in San Francisco. That’s by design as well. The PBIs, I think, want to make it more difficult to be able to park. Absolutely. So instead of, for example, for me, going to places where it’s more difficult to park, like North Cherry Creek for dinner or downtown, I just don’t go there. I go other places. And so those businesses, I think, suffer.
SPEAKER 05 :
I agree 100%. Actually, I’m not even home right now. We have another home. And when the traffic is bad or there’s people out there or there’s no place to park, people just find other places to go. And that’s exactly what we do. And I’m not willing to… fight for the three parking spots that are in front of a particular restaurant or a venue. And you think, I don’t even want to take a limo because I’ve got the whole family here. So you just don’t. You just find something else to do. And those companies that have been so successful, whether it be restaurants or venues or whatever it might be, they’re the ones that pay the price because policymakers make bad choices.
SPEAKER 08 :
Exactly. And it goes to this whole globalist agenda, I think, that we’re seeing play out, which segues us into this next piece that you’ve written. And that is EV only is collapsing. Gas cars are back in the U.S. and Europe. And, of course, we’ve seen all of these tax incentives and tax credits for EVs. Those are disappearing. So walk us through this, Lauren Fixx.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, this is an interesting thing. So how we got into this EV only started because of China saying, hey, this is the best solution for the environment. And of course, who picked that up? The World Economic Forum was probably somewhere tied together with them. This is this is quite a large situation. So the European Union president, Ursula von der Leyen, she’s the one who’s like all in on this. She want her and the rest of the EU commissioners think this is great because it’s about controlling the people. Again, why do you want people in autonomous cars? Because I can control where you go. You can’t go there today. I’m sorry, Kim. We’re not going to let you go there. So these are the type of things that. when you hear them in europe they make their way over here to the us and then you’ve got leaders like biden and obama and clinton and they’ll just jump right in line because there’s something in it for them controlling the people maybe it’s financial but it’s about power and and these are like seven deadly sins i hate to put it that way but it is it’s like everything that has to do with that is what they’re thinking So while the EU pushed so hard in some countries, such as Germany and France and Spain and England, we’re seeing we’re going to be EV only, electric vehicles only, by 2030. I was actually in England last summer, and I talked to… One of the brands, and it was just a casual dinner, but I happened to sit next to a pretty high-level executive. And I said, how in the world is England going to go all EV? He goes, we can’t. He goes, we don’t even have the power for the homes that we have now. He goes, and there’s very poor infrastructure here because it’s extremely old infrastructure. It has not been updated. It’s a brand-new country, brand-new electricity. He goes, it would cost more than our country even costs. He moves around in money. He said, so for it to go all easy is impossible. They have small, narrow roads there. It’s a completely different environment than we have here in the U.S. where you’re in Denver and you want to go out to Golden and he says, of course, no problem. Just jump on the road. The roads are beautiful. Everything’s great. There’s infrastructure. Maybe, maybe not. There, there’s nothing. And so that has become a huge dilemma for Europe. Some countries such as Norway, while they don’t have newer infrastructure, they just started putting in power stations for people to charge. And again, they don’t have enough. Everyone who’s got the EV buses has had problems. So all the car brands are the ones that are hurting. Chinese car manufacturers are selling their vehicles. An interesting reason why China would want to have their vehicles sold there so they could destroy the other car industries. That is what keeps these countries alive, especially Germany. If there’s no jobs, then what do people do? Nothing. They just become slaves to the government like Greece. And I have friends that live there also who have told me some pretty horrific stories of where you can’t do anything without the government approving it, which is exactly what the EU wants, which is exactly what some leaders want here in the US, not President Trump, but previous to him, there’s a lot of them that did. And so when you start thinking, well, why would you want all of these? Because… If there’s no charging, then too bad. You can’t go anywhere. If you can’t use autonomous cars, which ties into the previous story, that means you have to rely on us. And if we say it’s not available, too bad. There’s no power? Sorry about that. If you can’t get where you need to be, that’s not my problem. And these are all major, major issues for people. And that’s why you’re seeing a big pushback. So Chinese EVs have come into the country. Germany is actually hurting the companies. And believe it or not, Volkswagen, who has been around since the late 30s into 40s, They shut down their plant for the first time ever in Dresden, which is their main plant. I’ve actually been to it. The main plant where the original Volkswagen was built shut down for the first time in its entire life for two months because they didn’t have the sales in order to produce the product. And they’re one of the number one car manufacturers in the world. You tell me what that’s all about. Yeah. Wow.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so I have these two things I wanted to talk with you about. What else do you think our listeners need to know this morning?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, what’s interesting is all the car brands that are there are saying, hey, listen, we’ll shut down our factories. That was a message sent to the German government, and they said, oh, we can’t do this because 60% of their people in Germany work in the auto industry because they make BMWs and Porsches and Mercedes and Volkswagen. All the German brands that we have here, and some you may not even realize, are produced in Germany. Some are built here, like BMW’s largest plant is in South Carolina. But when you’ve hurt these companies and they can’t afford to produce products or they can’t afford to feed their people, what happens? You have to rethink your policies. And you were on city council, so you understand. You think, okay, well, we thought that would work. That’s not going to work. So they got together, the EU, with the car brands and everything. They said, we’re going to delay or eliminate the EV mandate and allow people to buy what they want, which keeps their people employed, which keeps their economies going. Otherwise, it’s going to collapse. It’s going to be like the Weimar time where just everybody can’t afford anything and everyone’s in a bad position. So what we see now is they have followed suit with the U.S. So why President Trump has removed all the electric vehicle mandates here in the U.S. This is what’s important. He’s put a Congressional Review Act in, which is signed and passed into bill. We will not see another electric vehicle mandate that is done and gone. And while we’re undoing almost every single policy that’s in place, we still have a few left. A few are at the Supreme Court, which would be removing the California Resources Board, which Colorado and the state I live in, New York, follow 100%. If Gavin Newsom and the California Resources Board say we want all electric vehicles… Our states follow. And the problem is when you live in a state like Colorado or New York or other states that follow, there’s 17 of them, you cause burdens for your listeners, for people that live there every single day that want to be able to get in their truck and drive and get fuel at reasonable prices. So part of that is lowering gas prices. We’ve seen that already. Where I am now in Florida, I’m seeing gas prices at, I saw $2.31 a gallon just over the weekend. And that’s a huge drop. I’ve seen diesel prices here in Florida under $3 a gallon, which it is not in New York State, nor is regular gas prices because they have a lot of extra taxes. So be aware and be ears open, especially in Colorado, when you hear them saying, oh, our gas prices aren’t going to lower. You can follow like Gas Buddy or AAA to get the average gas price in your state. California is always higher. But what a lot of these state legislators have done, and remember that when it’s time to vote, they’ll add on a huge sales tax on top of it. So why it’s not a federal tax, it’s a state tax. So they could say what happened in California is gas prices are up an additional 56 cents a gallon as of the first of the year. They do that saying that it’s for the electric infrastructure. No, they’re in a huge deficit. They’re going to use it to soften their general budget. It’s not going to go for roads and bridges and electric charging stations. All that sounds wonderful, but it’s not. It’s just an additional tax to you, the consumer. So remember that next time they’re up for election, let’s hear what they have to say. We know what they say and what their actions are are always completely different.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, yes, that happens. So is that a new additional tax in California as of the first of the year?
SPEAKER 05 :
Additional tax started the first of the year, yeah. And I did report on that. It’s on my Car Coach Reports channel. I’m always talking about what’s going on. Things like Ford’s EV that failed. I posted that last night, but it’s also I posted that a couple of times, different stories. They lost $20 billion. $20 billion. How do you go to the shareholders and say… Yeah, we got a problem. GM lost over $8 billion, all because they made electric vehicles that they were told by the federal government, you’re going to make money. Don’t worry, we’ll subsidize it. They didn’t. And every single brand has taken a loss, even of this government push for something that consumers did not ask for, did not say they all want. Some people want it. If you want it, go buy an electric car. They’re out there. There’s great deals. I don’t recommend buying them. I recommend leasing them because the used car market on electric vehicles is horrid at best. And so if you look at your numbers, if you need some documentation to back it up, you can check out IC cars. There’s a lot of places to go to look at the resale value on these vehicles and it will shock you. It’ll literally shock you on how bad EV sales are and how bad the resale value is on these. So lease one, use it, enjoy it. If that’s what you want, maybe your company offers an incentive and then get rid of it.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, and we only have a minute left, but Lauren, as we’re talking about this, as they’ve made it difficult to find a parking space, if you put these companies out of business, then it’s going to be difficult to find a car. Or repair or parts or anything.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah. But I will tell you, I want everyone to be aware, if you’re thinking about buying a plug-in hybrid, I just want to let everyone know there is a stop sale no longer available for Stellantis, which is Jeep plug-in hybrids. That’s what they call their 4xe’s. If you’re thinking about buying one, do not. whether it be used or new. They’re recalling all of them. They’ve got some serious electrical problems. They’ve had fires and some serious problems. I’ll be reporting on that. Hopefully I’ll get that up for Tuesday at 615 Eastern. But Stellantis has canceled all plug-in hybrid lineup that made them the segment leader, and that’s going to be Wranglers, Grand Cherokees, anything that says 4xE, I highly recommend you don’t buy it because you’re going to be in trouble. And we certainly have had people from both sides of the aisle working together. I call that the uniparty that has You know, I understand the politics. You make a deal here and that somebody’s pocket might get greased over here. That’s happened since the very beginning of humankind, really, of politics. I get that. But the founders had something different in mind. They said, how about if government is limited? If government is limited, then that means politics. that there will be a limited amount of this political deal-making and dollars going into it. And, of course, Minneapolis and Minnesota is a perfect example that when we’re seeing the amount of fraud with the Somali – those in the Somali community – And very possibly this is happening throughout our country. And so what would happen if all that was limited? Just think about it. That would mean that we, everyday people, would have the freedom to go after our hopes and dreams and to keep most of the fruits of our labor. And America happened. America never happened before. And so I get that. I get the whole political thing. way out of its lane. And with that, it’s happened because of the Uniparty, I would say. And so here in Colorado, with what’s happened in the Uniparty is, okay, I get the politics component, but we are in a state that is being destroyed. And from an economic standpoint, our beautiful state. In addition, we’re in a state where a baby can be aborted up until the time of birth. And we are also in a state where our beautiful children are being indoctrinated that boys can be girls and girls can be boys instead of our kids learning how to read, write, and do arithmetic. And then that whole boys… It could be girls, girls can be boys. It’s playing out with pharmaceutical and surgical mutilation of our children. So this is past the whole uniparty, scratch your back, scratch my back, that whole thing. That’s why these elections are so important. And so we’ll continue the discussion about all of that. I mentioned in the first hour that I think that there’s something, and I don’t know if it’s on purpose or if it’s, incompetence. I don’t know that for sure. And I don’t know who all the players are. I’ve got an idea of who some of the players are. But what I am concerned about regarding access to the primary ballot, not only in the governor race, and there’s excellent candidates on the Republican side, but there’s a whole bunch of people that are running for office for governor. but also in the other races as well, is there a movement, an effort to box out anybody that’s going to go through the caucus assembly, state assembly process to get onto the ballot, to box them out and only let people, and that would occur if, A, the caucus and assemblies appear so dysfunctional, That, um, we’d have to question the validity of those, uh, and then, or, or that it doesn’t occur at this, my understanding at this particular point in time that the state party, the state GOP as it has not secured a location for the state assembly, which is what is necessary for candidates to be able to access the primary ballot. And so one just has to question what is going on here. And we need to really be questioning this. And if, in fact, the unit party is out there to box out some candidates in favor of another one, then we are in real trouble here in the state. And so let’s go ahead and jump into our word of the day, which is clemency. It’s C-L-E-M-E-N-C-Y. Governor Jared Polis has indicated that he might show clemency towards former Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters, who is in prison at this time. And she was not allowed… to post bond as she is appealing her conviction. And, uh, that appeal is going to be heard this Wednesday, I think at two 30. Uh, but in the meantime, the governor Polis has said that he would consider clemency and the definition is number one, a disposition to show mercy, especially toward an offender or an enemy. Number two, it could be a merciful kind or lenient act. And number three could be mildness, especially of weather. And of course we delivered a petition to the governor’s office on December 22nd, requesting him that he do the humanitarian thing and release her and release her from prison and do the humanitarian thing and show her mercy, kindness, and compassion. Our quote of the day is from Henry Hazlitt, born in 1894, died in 1993. He was an American journalist, economist, and philosopher, and was known for his advocacy of free markets and classical liberal principles. He is the best known for his 1946 book, The Economics in One Lesson, which producer Joe and producer Luke and I did a whole book review on that before we started the one that we’re working on now, which is The Prince. by Machiavelli. And so we’ve been doing this for over a decade. Adam Andrzejewski, our late founder, he started this in Chicago, outside of Chicago suburb, focusing on his small town. And it just grew and grew and grew until we became this.
SPEAKER 08 :
national organization that we are just just highlighting waste fraud and abuse and um hopefully getting attention of the policy makers um out there to to try to prevent some of it well and i uh what’s so interesting is you have actually you will go down to the local level and my town was not on the database initially and so i reached out to you and you went to work, and it is now included in there. So if you don’t see an entity that you’re interested in, if they just reach out to you, you will go to work and try to find that information.
SPEAKER 09 :
Absolutely. There are tens of thousands of these small communities. Some of them we haven’t gotten to if they’re really small. And some of them just are not forthcoming in providing records, too. Sometimes we wait a really long time to get pretty basic spending records, either because these entities are really not collecting. it in a reasonable manner. Maybe they’re photocopying budget documents, that sort of thing. They don’t have electronic documents. And other times they’re really just trying to prevent us from getting this information, but exactly like you did. Yeah, if there’s an entity, a local government, or even a politician in particular looking for salaries, let us know and we’ll ask for it. Great.
SPEAKER 08 :
And so I’m over at OpenTheBooks.com, and I need to practice against how to navigate this because last time I was there, there had been a map, and I’m not finding that. So I’ll have to get with you and make sure that I understand.
SPEAKER 09 :
We redesigned our website, and if you scroll down, I’m guessing you’re looking for where you could click on the map and you could click on your state and your city and find the city. Yeah, so we actually that map no longer exists, because we redesigned our website. If you scroll down a little bit, you’ll see something called search the data. And you can click on either salaries, pensions or checkbooks. And you can search and and find stuff that way. The map was a little outdated, but we have still have the same data available there.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. And again, just one more time in case people want to get that, because I want to make sure that we understand how to have the tool. So if I’m at home and that would be the place then to get that. Is that right? Search the data. Open the book.com.

You’ll see it in big, bold letters. Transparency is accountability. Um, and, uh, searching the data, you’ll see a sort of a sky blue coloring and you can search for, um, it looks like, uh, you know, dollar bills for salaries. There’s a piggy bank for pensions and looks like a bank maybe on a storefront for checkbooks. And you can search for salaries by an employee’s name or for pensions by an employee’s name or checkbooks by a vendor’s name. If you click through, you can also then search by states and cities themselves. Actually, if you do scroll a little further down, again, because we just redid our website, you do have the units of government that you can search for specific units of government, whether it’s a city, a college, a school district, a town, a state, you can Type that in there in the quick search, and it’ll come up, all of the records that we have. Okay, great. Scroll down about halfway down. Yeah, it’s all there.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, great. And so thank you for walking me through that. It’s just like the grocery store. So you changed how everything worked, or where all the products are, and I’ve got to figure out how to get to that again. That’s right. Thank you for your help on that. So we’ve seen this news coming out of Minneapolis regarding – fraud, and you’ve all been all over this. And you have a recent article that came out regarding The taxpayer has actually been sending millions of dollars to nonprofits that are filing costly climate-related lawsuits. And, in fact, I talked with this a bit last week with natural resources expert Greg Welcher and then Power of the Future’s Daniel Turner. And then I thought, oh, my gosh, this is big news because you’re all over this. So walk us through this, Rachel O’Brien.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah. So these are, you know, again, not nonprofits. A lot of them are climate related. Some of them, you know, they’re big organizations. And so they get funding from the federal government and from states. And, of course, they are suing when they want to change statutes. They sue under the Natural Environment Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act. And they sue to try to get change even while receiving this funding. So, for instance, the Center for Biological Diversity, they’ve filed 132 legal actions against the federal government between 2017 and 2024 while at the same time They received over $2 million from states, and they received $3 million in federal COVID aid during that time. Wow. Appalachian Voices. Yes. Yeah, they sued about nine times. They have nine lawsuits. They received two and a half million dollars. Wild Earth Guardians, they have 26 lawsuits against the federal government. They received about $100,000 and more from the state of New Mexico. They got almost $4 million from the state of New Mexico. NRDC, a big one, they have 25 lawsuits against the government and they got nearly a million dollars. And so it just goes on and on that you know, these organizations are being funded by the government while also suing the government. So we wanted to put that out there for people, you know, to sort of see exactly how this is happening and maybe try to hold these organizations accountable. I should say actually that the state of Texas and the state of California have also sued the federal government quite a bit.
SPEAKER 08 :
So, you know, that’s kind of crazy that that’s going on. But so through the federal government under many times, you said the Endangered Species Act or Sierra Club has 28 legal actions. So many times then. the government will settle with these entities, meaning that the taxpayer then pays money to these entities. That means these entities then have more money that they can go back and sue the government. And there seems to be a lot of that going on, right, Rachel?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, exactly. This is to make matters worse. These groups that sue not only cost taxpayers millions of dollars in attorney fees, because oftentimes… the federal government will pay their attorney fees. They result in settlements that allow bureaucrats to create new regulations. They bypass Congress and any public debate. So let’s say the Center for Biological Diversity, they’ve got 132 lawsuits or legal actions. They get their funding, their state and federal funding. They sue the federal government over these environmental regulations that they want to change. They instead of bringing all of these actions to court, right, you settle lots of lots of lawsuits get settled. Very few actually get into a courtroom. But the federal government ends up paying their attorney’s fees. Of course, the federal government’s own attorney’s fees. And then these entities end up getting a settlement that are, again, bypassing Congress, bypassing public debate. It’s settled in a back room with bureaucrats that say, OK, you’ve asked for this regulation change. We’re going to give it to you. We’re also going to pay your legal fees. So, you know, the EPA is the worst, right? They’re the biggest user of these, quote, sue and settle arrangements. Right. And so they sort of put it this way, instead of litigating in court where it’s very expensive, we might as well settle. But again, it’s both not only a financial issue where a lot of money is being spent, but it’s also an issue of really essentially creating new laws or changing existing laws to appease these entities. And a lot of times you have sweetheart deals, right? You have the feds, you know, the EPA in particular, and these outside attorneys, they oftentimes know each other. Oftentimes they’ve, they’ve gone back and forth between the organization or the EPA, vice versa. And they, you know, kind of want to help out their old employer, their old coworkers. And they do agree on these deals without any, any input from anyone who, truly should be in charge. And so since 2013, there’s been $20 million paid in attorney fees specifically for these environmental law suits. And so it’s a lot of money. It’s, you know, it’s, it’s, it’s continuing a little bit. Obama’s second term, they paid $5.7 million in attorney fees. Trump’s first term, he dropped down all the way to $3.6 million. The Biden administration paid triple that, almost $11 million in attorney’s fees. So Trump has said during his his first term, actually, his EPA administrator ended the use of this. There were still some holdout agreements that were, I guess, sort of in the middle. You know, of course, Biden then later rescinded those provisions during Trump’s first term and now back for his second term. His EPA administrator, Lee Zeldin, has said that, you know, these outside activist groups should not dictate EPA’s agenda or federal environmental policy and that the Trump administration is aware of these concerns and they commit to not engage in them. So we should see a return to very little or no taxpayer dollars paying these attorneys of groups that see the government.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, that was going to be my next question. What kind of a remedy can, you know, what can we do on this? But it sounds like the Trump administration is addressing this. Is that correct?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, as long as they really, truly crack down. Right. You know, it’s a failure of policy to allow these bureaucrats within the EPA to give them this decision making ability. And so, you know, the EPA administrator, Lee Zeldin, says we’re not going to do this anymore. So we’re going to follow the money. We’re going to see if that’s true, if they actually really stop. And hopefully they do. Hopefully these. These nonprofits get the message that you’re not going to receive federal grants and sue us and we’re going to pay your attorney fees and you’re going to get exactly what you want because it’s a lose, lose, lose for the federal government.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, and when it’s a lose, lose, lose for the federal government, ultimately, that’s a lose, lose, lose for the taxpayer, for everyday people. Absolutely. And so that’s, boy, this is great work. So I know you’re going to stay on top of that, Rachel O’Brien. And then when we come back, I want to talk with you about the 10 most popular investigations that Open the Books did in 2025. And the first one is Delete, Delete, Delete. So what is that all about, Rachel O’Brien?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, we found that, you know, going back to this whole… You know, talk waste, fraud and abuse. We wanted to get a comprehensive list and understanding of all the federal agencies that exist. So we looked at the Federal Register and they have 441 federal agencies that were listed. I don’t know about you, but I can’t name 441 federal agencies listed. And so we said, well, wow, not only is that a lot, let’s go down the list and see what they all are. We found that 75 of them are effectively defunct or obsolete. They’ve been taken over by another entity or renamed or don’t even exist any longer. So. We went down one by one and found this. And, you know, the record keeping by the Federal Register, they’re supposed to be the definitive guide to government policy. And it’s shockingly bad. And, you know, we just highlighted it to show that, you know, members of the public have to do their own research to find the composition of their own government. It’s not available online. You know, if the if the federal government were booked, there would be no usable table of contents for the average American to find what they’re seeking. And so you’re really starting behind in trying to. Not only keep track of what the government is doing, what they’re spending, if you don’t even have a list of what what makes up the federal government. And so that’s why we did that. And our argument was delete, delete the obsolete agencies. You know, this just it points to duplication and bloat. It was the very thing that Doge aimed to get rid of. And so we say delete, delete, delete.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, next one. Number two, the final tally for the Biden-era improper payments, $925 billion. That is almost $1 trillion on that, Rachel O’Brien.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, I mean, we took aim at Biden, obviously, because his presidency was ending. But this is a bipartisan problem. And all members of Congress should take issue with this. Improper payments happen every year under every administration. They are payments made by the federal government to the wrong person for the wrong amount or for the wrong reason. And so President Biden, his administration was averaging $250 billion in Each year of the first three years of his administration, the last year they managed to get that figure down to $162 billion. Still, $162 billion is over $307,000 per minute of money going out the door, taxpayer money going out the door to the wrong person. And so, of course, Medicaid and Medicare are the programs contributing most to the improper payments. They accounted for $87 billion in improper payments last year. Dead people still receive money. They still received $346 million last year. Mismanaged COVID programs, they continue to waste tax dollars. Now, some of these payments do get recovered. The figure for last year was about 14% of the federal overpayments do get recovered. But there are likely more financial errors we don’t know about. Agencies report themselves these improper payments. And so not all agencies do report. And agencies that do report, we’re not sure if it’s complete. So for instance, USAID, you know, the Trump administration cut that, uh, cut their funding significantly. They reported they, they had no improper payments in fiscal year 2024. Um, even though they had in previous years. So it’s not because overnight all of a sudden they started spending their money perfectly and they had no improper payments. Um, as we’ve seen with USAID, there was money going to things that shouldn’t. So, um, You know, in fact, looking at USAID in particular, the GAO said that USAID, they were found to be 30 times more susceptible to significant improper payments since 2020. So, you know, this reporting, this self-reporting by agencies obviously is imperfect information. There’s got to be work done by Congress to change how these entities are spending, how the agencies, rather, are spending their money. There were good recommendations that were made, actually. The Doge subcommittee of the House Oversight Committee had some great recommendations how to fix this. And so if these recommendations are enforced, a lot of money can be made. Measures should be taken up front to prevent these payments in the first place. There are outdated technologies, programs that are rooted in decades of antiquated regulations, some dating back 60 years. So if you modernize and simplify every program, it should make it easier to get the data you need. A lot of a lot of federal programs don’t require identity verification and authentication on application. So requiring that pretty straightforward. There was an honor system being used. They allow honor systems for people to self-certify or self-attest who they are. Clearly, we shouldn’t be doing that. And so there’s all sorts of pretty straightforward bipartisan things. that Congress can enact and can require for us to stop spending $250 billion a year giving it to the wrong people.
SPEAKER 08 :
And that is real money that’s being taken from everyday, hardworking Americans. And it’s a responsibility of these government agencies to… And to be verifying this, this is just crazy to me, Rachel O’Brien. But let’s go into the next one, is cash for migrants. FEMA is not the only agency spending big on that. So walk us through this one.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah. So last year we looked at the Office of Refugee Resettlement. They’re a sub agency of HHS. They fall under the Administration for Children and Families. So Office of Refugee Resettlement is exactly what it sounds like. You’re a refugee. You come to this country. You get money. You get money for Medicaid or even for things like helping buy a home or auto loans or even cash assistance, cold hard cash assistance. So we looked at their spending. We found that the Office of Refugee Resettlement spent twenty two point six billion dollars since 2020 on grants to nonprofits that then give this money out to refugees. The entity, ORR, they came under scrutiny in 2023 because the New York Times reported there were 85,000 unaccompanied children who were sort of lost. They had been sent to these agency-approved sponsors. We didn’t know where they were. Tom Holman, the border czar, he actually estimates there’s around 300,000 of these kids who we’re not sure where they are. This agency also failed a transparency test. We’ve filed Freedom of Information requests for documents, for records. One request we made in May of 2023, we still have not received a response from them. Um, they are, their average wait time for these simple requests are over a thousand days. Um, so, you know, three years and counting, which is absurd, obviously, um, you know, three years to get a document that should be, that is a public document way too long for the CDC, for instance, their wait time is about 22 days. So, um, they have a transparency problem. They have a spending problem. Um, obviously, um, They’re spending money on things that refugees get that taxpaying American citizens don’t get. So we highlighted all of that.
SPEAKER 08 :
Boy, this is really amazing work that you’ve done. And we’ve got time for maybe just one more. Out of the top 10, what do you think, what do you want to highlight? Okay.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, one thing is that we’ve requested, we’ve actually asked, you know, so again, we have all of this data on our website. We’re able to collate it and put it in one spot for people to see, but it’s imperfect, right? We get this information from usaspending.gov, which is a website that the United States Federal government uploads its spending. That website is imperfect. We get information from the Freedom of Information requests that we file day after day after day, thousands every year. But all of this, there are gaps. And so our CEO, John Hart, he wrote a letter actually to Elon Musk at the time, you know, no longer involved here, but The request still exists that there should be a federal checkbook, America’s checkbook, just like you can log on to your online banking and see who you paid and make sure your direct deposit from work came through and the check that you wrote was cleared and exactly who it went to. There should be a checkbook online that the average American can check and If you remember, there was this outrage from certain groups that Doge was getting access to the Treasury payment system so they could see the payments. This was a read-only access just to see who the United States government was paying with our money. And so we say, listen, the Treasury’s payment system should be read-only access for every American. There should be America’s checkbook. We should not have to write individual requests. You should be able to see it. And so, you know, this request still exists. There is legislation already pending that we’re hoping gets out of committee. We’re hoping gets through Congress that does create this type of transparency that will go so far in giving taxpayers information they need to see how the money is being spent. and maybe make us obsolete a little bit, right? But we need this. We need this information, and there’s no reason why Americans should not have access to how their money is being spent. So this is what we’ve asked for, and we’re hoping it comes to fruition. Rachel O’Brien, this is such great work that you’re doing.

But we’ve talked so much, but finally, at the beginning of the year, I was able to meet you in person and went down to Spartan Defense A pretty impressive firearms store that you have there, Teddy Collins.

I appreciate that, Kim. I really do. We’ve worked very hard on it. My wife and I started the company going on five years now, and it’s grown into a monster, so to speak. But, yeah.

Super impressive, but you’ve decided that you’re going to add in something new in your life in addition to being an entrepreneur and businessman, and what is that, Teddy Collins?
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, Kim, I’ve been fighting from the outside of the Gold Dome for many years, and I have officially announced my candidacy for Senate District 4, Mark Baisley’s former seat with his endorsement, and I’ll be running for State Senate to fight from within the Capitol.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, and you just announced what, yesterday, is that right?
SPEAKER 18 :
Correct. We had an event up in Woodland Park at Freedom 30 Arms. It’s the last firearm store left in Teller County because of the red tape from Denver and all the regulations that have been passed. They put almost every other gun store out of business. So I decided to announce there. I figured it definitely went with my message.
SPEAKER 08 :
So what is your focus that you will work on under the Golden Dome?
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, I’ve got multiple focuses as a stakeholder in multiple different parts of Colorado daily life. I’ll give you a few. Of course, the Second Amendment and our Our civil liberties and constitutional rights and freedoms are one of my biggest focus. They’re under attack every day in Denver, and that’s something I plan to push back on. Of course, I’m a father of two with a third on the way that’s due in April. I have two young girls that are in school. They actually just had a school threat about two weeks ago. It’s unacceptable the fact that that we do not have armed security in almost every single school. It’s unacceptable the fact of what they’re teaching our children in these schools. It’s unacceptable that boys can compete in girls’ sports. These are other principles that I’ll be running on to prevent this from happening, to make sure that this does not happen, to make sure we leave a better Colorado behind for our legacy and our future and our children and grandchildren.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, and Colorado is in trouble, Teddy Collins. What you just mentioned are children that instead of learning how to read and write and do arithmetic, that they are being – there’s only a certain amount of hours in a school day, Teddy Collins. And if they’re not being taught how to read and write and do arithmetic because they’re being taught ideological agendas, for example, that boys can be girls, girls can be boys – then it’s putting Colorado is in just a very destructive state at this particular point in time. And so it is really important that good people step up and run for office. And you’re busy. You’re an entrepreneur. You’re a father. You got a baby on the way. This is a big commitment for you and your family.
SPEAKER 18 :
It is. I’m tired of not seeing it get done, and I decided to step into this fight myself. I feel like I can get the job done, and I can represent my district well, and I can represent my constituents and fight back against the left here in Colorado.
SPEAKER 08 :

Well, I’d like to know them all a little bit better. If anybody has any questions for me, they can reach out through the website or they can reach out to me on Facebook or X. I’m happy to answer any and all questions they may have. I’m not hiding. I’m an opinionated person and I’m willing to put my opinions out there whether people like them or not. That being said, know that I’m a fighter. Know that I’ll get things done in the Gold Dome. I’ve got a great support structure and a backing and all I need to do is get some of your followers and some of the other constituents of SD4 to back me so I can cross that finish line and bring it home for SD4.

Well, and you have five issues on there that are important. Affordability, because of government, I think people are struggling. Public policy has made housing more expensive. It just has made it more expensive for people to live. And so affordability is certainly important. The Public safety, crime, and education, those are all those things is what is near and dear to most Coloradans’ hearts. So it’s important issues for sure on that.
SPEAKER 18 :
Absolutely. And we could spend hours talking about each one of those topics. So definitely go and check the website out, guys and gals. And if you have any questions for me, reach out. I’m happy to answer. okay well that’s great and again uh that is collins for colorado.com collins for colorado.com your final thought on all this teddy collins we’ve got to take colorado back 2026 is a make or break year for the colorado legislator for our rights in the state if we do not win in 2026 reduce the democrats majority and or take back the majority ourself I think that we’re not going to have another opportunity to do so. So people need to get involved. They need to be aware and they need to understand the races that are happening and they need to show up and support all those that are going to be out there supporting them.

Absolutely. People need to be involved. And so a government of we the people means that we the people have to be engaged in what is happening there. And so we’ve got to stop this. And I think that this is a time that people are really starting to pay attention to what is happening. And so we have a great opportunity to reclaim the Colorado that we love and to also reclaim this America, this whole American idea. And so we are dedicated here at the Kim Monson Show to shed light on all of these different issues issues and continue to look at these things through this lens of freedom versus force, force versus freedom.
