Fred Wiese grew up during the Depression. We are re-broadcasting an interview with Wiese. He shares stories of his childhood and joining the Army in December of 1941. In 1943 he joined the Army Air Corps. Fred explains his mantra of “work hard, study hard, don’t get into trouble, and don’t wash out.” Fred shares the story of his first loop in a training plane.
