SPEAKER 01 :
Hello, hello, hello. Happy Monday, everyone. Thank you guys so much for tuning in to Shooting the Breeze today. My name is Karen Murray, and I am the lead instructor at Franktown Firearms. And if you haven’t been to Franktown Firearms in a while, I think it’s time that you stop in and take a look around at the place. See what they’ve done with the place. The store is getting a complete facelift all the way around. New inventory has been flooding in. The newly built Sim House is ready for training, and we’ll have some amazing training opportunities there. Concealed carry classes are still ongoing. As usual, I don’t have any for the next couple of weeks just because of the holidays and some other things. But the next class on the calendar is scheduled for December 7th from 11 to 3. And that’s a different time frame than I normally run my classes. But I had to make an adjustment for this particular class because of a holiday party that I have to go to. So the following weekend, December 14th, I have a ladies only class on the book. So ladies only. this is your chance. I only run these classes every other month. So if you want to sit in a room with a bunch of like-minded women, that’s going to be the class for you. If private training is more what you’re looking for, you can email me directly at karen.murray at franktownfirearms.com. My last name is spelled M-U-R-R-A-Y. And we can set up a date and time that works for you. Most of my private training is done during the week, I have to say, but I can accommodate an occasional Saturday morning. I’ll squeeze those in before my public classes at 1 o’clock. That’s the normal start time. So shoot me an email. You see what I did there? Shoot me an email. And let’s get you going. Let’s get you started on some training and learning the correct way to do things. I think you’ll really enjoy it. what you find at Franktown. So if there’s anything that I’m covering today that you’d like to chime in on, you can give me a call at 303-477-5600, and we can chat about it. I’d love to hear from you. So today I’m going to start out talking about this whole mass deportation thing that Trump wants to implement as soon as he’s sworn into office and kind of what that’s going to look like. And I’m going to focus first on Denver. and Denver’s Mayor Mike Johnston and his unwillingness to help the federal government in deporting illegals living in Denver. First of all, news travels fast. We all know that. Even in the community of illegal migrants who don’t speak English, news still travels fast. And when these people who are living in a non-sanctuary city or state around the country, whether that’s you know, someplace in Oklahoma or Nebraska or Wyoming or whatever, and they hear the news that mayors like Johnston will be harboring them and keeping them safe from deportation, they’re all going to flood into sanctuary cities like Denver. My daughter and I attended a charity event last Thursday in Nevada. And on the way there, going down I-25 from Douglas County, The GPS, there must have been a crash or something, and the GPS in the car diverted me off of I-25 and sent me down Downing and then down Speer Boulevard and then back onto I-25 for whatever reason. And when all was said and done, it was probably, it should have just, I should have just stayed on I-25 because it was rush hour and it was kind of a nightmare. So in that short stretch of Downing from I-25 to Speer Boulevard, that we drove, the number of homeless encampments that we saw was kind of sad. You know, you see those all along Cherry Creek. I’m sure you’ve seen the ones that I’m talking about, the tents and everything that are there. Migrant encampments are all over Denver, as you probably have seen or heard. But they can also come in and just squat. They can squat in your house or your business or whatever. If they’re so inclined and nobody can or will do a darn thing about it. They can drive around beat up cars with no license plates and they never have any fear of being pulled over or punished in any way. They can basically get away with any crime they feel like committing. Auto theft, burglary, shoplifting, nobody’s going to put them in jail. And even if they are picked up after committing a crime, the city is not going to hold them. They just get released back onto the street. The only stat that I could find in terms of the number of illegals, and it seems to be the basic mantra of how many illegals are in Denver currently, and it’s old. It’s an old stat from April. And I know that the numbers have gotten worse since then. But the number was just north of 40,000. But the population of Denver is only 715 people. and change, of Denver proper anyway. Of course, CBS News will tell you that the migrant influx has slowed considerably, which I think is complete BS. And also, many of these illegals are criminals, as you know. And I’ve given those stats before of how many people that have been accused of rape or murder or capital crimes of some sort. And they’re all here. They’re all here. But even if that 40,000 number is accurate, doesn’t a 6% increase in population put a strain on resources? Considering that Denver harbors and takes care of these people, they don’t take care of you. They don’t provide you with a free cell phone. They don’t put a roof over your head or pay your grocery bill. As we’re driving through Denver, which I typically avoid Denver like the plague. Sorry, Denver. That’s just the way it is. I like my suburban bubble. We saw a few Harris bumper stickers, yard signs and flags and all that stuff kind of remaining on homes of the diehard liberals who just can’t seem to let the election go. They still have that advertisement up in their yards. And, of course, we have to see the guy sitting next to us. wearing the N95 mask alone in his car, which is always a delight to see, which just tells me that Denver has a lot of misguided sheep living there. And I, you know, I’m going to feel like I’m going off track, but I’m really not. So to those of you who live in Denver, in Denver, not Aurora, not Lakewood, not and you don’t fall into the misguided sheep category, then I ask you, what the heck? It seems to me that Mike Johnston doesn’t care about your safety at all, or the fact that the city is spending millions of your tax dollars feeding these illegals and giving them cell phones while your roads and bridges are falling apart. I guess I’m just having a hard time understanding Johnston’s motivation here. I mean, what benefit does being a sanctuary city offer anyone? Truly, that is an honest question. What benefit is there? And I don’t want to hear because they do the jobs that nobody else will do. That is hogwash. Does it help the citizens of Denver or does it hurt them in the long run? Does it help the politicians? Yes. Is it a contest to see what city can be the most woke? Because I think Johnston’s going to win that one. Does Mike Johnston think he’s morally superior because he harbors illegals? Can’t he see the damage that’s being done as a result of this policy and his policies? If you know me, you know that I hate big governments. I think the federal government’s purpose should be to keep us safe, and that’s about it. As it states in the Declaration of Independence, citizens of this country have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And that governments, governments being a plural word here, meaning federal, state, local, the governments are instituted among men deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. And their job is to secure these rights. That’s it. That’s their job. That’s their one job. So don’t you think having thousands of illegal migrants in Denver and possibly thousands more headed here after finding out that Mr. Johnston will take care of them is destructive of these ends? Don’t you think harboring thousands of illegal invaders who are basically criminals by default is Just the word illegal invaders, I’m going to go ahead and use that word because it’s true. As soon as they cross that southern border through something other than a port of entry and doing it in a way that is illegal, that diminishes your right to basic safety. And we know that they’ve allowed in 390 people, I think, already that are on the terror watch list. What is wrong with him? What is wrong with Johnston? As they say, heaven has strict immigration laws. Hell has open borders. There’s a clip that I saw this morning. Rand Paul has something to say about Mike Johnston personally and his plans to give the double barrel middle finger to the federal government. Check this out.
SPEAKER 04 :
the mayor of denver if he’s going to resist federal law which is a long standard standing history of the supremacy of federal law he’s going to resist that it will go all the way to supreme court and i would suspect that he would be removed from office i don’t know whether or not there’d be a criminal prosecution for someone resisting federal law but he will lose and people need to realize that what he is offering is a form of insurrection, where the states resist the federal government. Most people objected to that and rejected that long ago. So I think the mayor of Denver is on the wrong side of history and really, I think, will face legal ramifications if he doesn’t obey the federal law.
SPEAKER 01 :
So maybe that’s a threat. I don’t know, because in Denver… who’s going to do anything about, you know, who’s going to come? I mean, unless the feds come in and arrest him, which I, frankly, I would love to see. So I don’t know. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with that. And like I’ve said before, we still have a lot of ground to cover before certification day and before inauguration day. And there is some talk about, about Congress invoking the 25th Amendment on Biden, making Kamala Harris acting president. So who knows what’s going to happen with that whole thing. Johnny, I got you on the line. What do you got for me today?
SPEAKER 05 :
Okay. Speaking about this is illegal, you know, they did an audit, and they found that they have a $150 million bond. Deficit they have to fill in the budget. And then they calculate, someone was calculating how much it costs to serve each of these. Well, the homeless, that was like $69,000. Probably some of the illegals are mixed in that one. Right. And somebody gave a great idea, which I thought was good. You know how they work here and then they send their money back, but they use a lot of our free services? Yes. So somebody was saying they should charge 5% on all the money they send to another, well, Mexico and so forth, and then connect it to their zip code so they are paying taxes.
SPEAKER 01 :
Yeah, I like that idea. That’s outstanding. Something has to give.
SPEAKER 05 :
What I’m thinking Biden is doing and a lot of these blue states, Biden is just shocking up a bunch of bad things before he leaves, before he leaves office. So Trump will be filled with doing, fixing all the stupid stuff that he’s doing. And do you ever wonder, like, why do you have to, once you elect the president, why do you have to wait, like, two and a half months to get to office? I’m thinking that was just back in the day when you had to ride horses to get from one state or one city. And that’s why they wanted to give you two months or two and a half months to actually take off. But now that we have airplanes and all this sort of modern things, they should probably just cut it to 30 days.
SPEAKER 01 :
Exactly. Exactly. I totally agree with you because Trump is assembling his team, you know, at breakneck speed, which is fantastic. And of course, he’s making changes along the way. But I totally agree with you. We don’t need we don’t need, you know, three months or whatever before the new president takes office. Absolutely not. And to your point about Biden and all the kind of nefarious things that he’s doing before Trump takes office because, you know, he’ll have this whole mess to mop up. We know that Biden is just a puppet on a string. I mean, he’s not doing anything. This is all kind of deep state activity. And I’m telling you, this whole transition is not going to go smoothly. It won’t. I know it won’t. I feel it in my soul.
SPEAKER 05 :
And I heard on another show that this guy had given this Venezuela guy a a job and he let the guy stay at his house and of course the guy ends up um raping his daughter and stuff like that and so i don’t know that’s got much news coverage because well i’m sure it didn’t these these guys pretend that um trump is going after the the mother just taking care of the kids in the house and and and every time they they talk they they give us propaganda But then the other guy who’s going to actually be in charge now, he says, no, we’re coming after the criminals first, then the ones that’s been told that went to court, told to leave, they’re still here, and then we’ll get to the other ones. And he puts it in Carnavalo’s order, but the Democrats keep pumping it out there that he’s coming after the housemaids or these other ones that are not really doing any crime other than coming into America illegally.
SPEAKER 01 :
Right, right, and that’s their only crime and whatever. They don’t want to talk about the Lake and Riley’s of the world and stuff like that. They don’t even want to touch on that. I mean, yeah, they acknowledge it briefly, but then they put up headlines like whatever his name was. I don’t even know his name. I don’t care what his name is, but that he didn’t stand a chance, stuff like that.
SPEAKER 05 :
I listen to NPR, and I hear the propaganda, so I hear – Because they did a whole newscast about the Lakin-Ridey thing and just said, well, this is just one case. They make it pretend like it’s just one case out of all these just fine illegals that are here. And they keep bending that bent. And it’s almost like, God, I wish they would hire real reporters on these. And you heard that Rachel Maddox, her paycheck is going to be slashed in half.
SPEAKER 01 :
Yeah, and I think it’s great. And there’s also that, I don’t know if it’s a joke or what, but Elon Musk was bandying about the notion of purchasing MSNBC. So, yeah, I think it’s funny. I think it’s funny the panic that they’re in right now. But still, like I said, you know, these MSNBC and CNN and whatever, they’re just mouthpieces. for the, they’re the propaganda arm of the deep state. And they’re just going to, you know, they’re going to continue to say what they’re told to say.
SPEAKER 05 :
And yeah, that’s all I get. Thanks.
SPEAKER 01 :
Thanks for the show. All right, Johnny. All right. Thank you so much. And, you know, based on to what Johnny was saying about people coming in and, you know, they’re fine people and, and, uh, you know, they just want to work and they want to send money home to their families and whatever. Did you hear about the little two-year-old girl that was found at the border and along with a crowd of people, and she had nothing but a piece of paper with her name and a phone number on it. So that’s a trafficker’s dream right there. It’s crazy. So many people, many conspiracy theorists out there, like myself, believe that 2024 was the last election that we will ever see. Imagine that. I wonder what kind of shenanigans they’re going to try to pull if they install Kamala in there through the 25th Amendment and getting rid of Biden. So pretty wild. I was looking at a detailed county by county map of election results. And just some of the stuff is so interesting to me. And we all know the urban centers across the country, they lean and they vote left. That’s kind of a given. But I like to look at like the entire state of Oklahoma, where once again, there are zero blue counties, not even one. I mean, even Montana and Idaho and Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, you know, places that you would think would be completely conservative, and they mostly are, absolutely. Texas, you know, they’re full of blue counties. Wyoming, of course, Teton County, I think where Jackson Hole is. That’s or Jackson, whatever it is, that’s that’s a blue county because all the celebrities and all the, you know, the liberals move in there and they bring their crappy policies with them. But why aren’t more people moving to Oklahoma to flee the blue states? That’s that’s you anywhere you go, just, you know, throw a dart at Oklahoma and find a place to go live and it’s going to be red. Doesn’t matter where where it is. So. I don’t know, maybe because they don’t want their homes destroyed by one of the hundreds of tornadoes that seem to touch down there every year. And I had no idea that Alaska, Alaska has 29 counties, but they’re not marked out on the electoral maps. It’s all just one red state. And obviously Trump won 54 to 41 in Alaska. And, you know, to me, that’s too close. That’s too close. And then we have states like Massachusetts, of course, that are 100% blue. There are no red counties at all. Can you imagine living there? No, thank you. It’s bad enough here. And even in Colorado, some of the counties here are, they’re surprising to me that they voted Kamala, which leads me to believe that there’s a lot of fraud going on that’s You know me. I’m all about election fraud. And I just believe that our 2020 election was stolen and nobody’s going to return the diamonds. And if you don’t know what that reference is, then whatever. Send me an email and I can explain it to you. But it’s very sad to me that nothing was done. And there’s still talk about it. You still hear people talk about it. But nothing was done. Nothing was done to correct it. Nothing was done to rectify it. And I’ve read and seen so many things about Dominion and all the terrible, terrible things that they’ve done and the other countries that were involved in the hacking and all this stuff with Dominion. It’s just awful. So, yeah, Colorado is definitely right up there with probably one of the most fraudulent states in the nation. Moving on to a little other election news, it seems Matt Gaetz is out for the AG position, as you know. If you’ll recall last week, I was giving my opinions on Trump’s picks, and I said that I loved Matt Gaetz as attorney general. And I know what Gaetz said about not wanting to be a distraction for Trump’s transition team and all that, but I think there’s something else going on. You know me. I’m always thinking. I’m always theorizing. And I think it’s something probably a little bit different than that, maybe stemming from Trump’s, I don’t know, his realization of who Matt Gaetz is or I think something else happened. I don’t know. And I can’t speak facts to this because all I go on is my tinfoil hat stuff. And you guys love me for my tinfoil hat stuff, right? And I like Pam Bondi. I think she’s going to do a great job. She’s a tough cookie and an experienced prosecutor, and I think she’s going to do great. So she seems to really ruffle the feathers of the left, so that makes me like her even more. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is an interesting pick. He is a former Wisconsin House member, and obviously he’s a TV host on Fox News, and he and his wife, Also a Fox News host, Rachel Campos Duffy, they have nine kids. Did you know that? They have nine children. How the heck is he going to find time to oversee the nation’s transportation infrastructure with nine kids to take care of? But anyone is better than Pete Buttigieg. Anybody. Wrestling mogul and billionaire Linda McMahon is another interesting pick. She ran the Small Business Administration in Trump’s first term from 2017 through 2019 and served on the Connecticut Board of Education for a year. But she is very pro-charter school and pro-school choice. I’m not sure if appointing anyone to lead the Department of Education equals dismantling it like Trump was talking about, but We will see what happens there. And I want to talk a little bit about Lee Zeldin, not so much about Lee Zeldin, but just about the appointment that he has at the EPA, the Environmental Protection Agency. Maybe Zeldin can bring some reason to the whole topic of climate change, because climate alarmists are screeching very loudly right now, And the international monetary fund is calling for economy crushing carbon restrictions. This is from zero hedge quote at the height of the COVID lockdowns and mandates, a massive portion of the global economy was shut down leading to supply chain instability, huge job losses and a stagflationary crisis. However, Climate change propagandists argued that the event was actually a positive for the planet when it was revealed that emissions fell by 5.4%. They asserted that the COVID lockdowns were a practice run for what they called climate lockdowns, presenting a plan for scheduled disruptions to global economic activity as a means to slow the effects of climate change. Globalists also presented climate lockdowns as a kind of collective social punishment in the event that populations refused to cut carbon output on their own. As World Economic Forum agenda contributor Mariana Mazzucato argued in 2020, she said, under a climate lockdown, governments would limit private vehicle use, ban consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently. Many think of the climate crisis as distinct from the health and economic crises caused by the pandemic, but the three crises and their solutions are interconnected. So that was her quote. And then it goes on to say, after a public uproar over the notion of extending pandemic lockdowns into climate lockdowns, the establishment media would go on to fact check the issue and assert that it was a conspiracy theory. They lied. The pandemic lockdowns would eventually be exposed as pointless, a disastrous drain on the global economy that did nothing to prevent the spread of the COVID virus. But as we witnessed with most of the restrictions instituted during COVID, the goal was never to protect the health of the populace. Rather, the goal was to acclimate the populace to an exponentially increasing list of violations of their basic freedoms. One organization that has a distinct interest in diminishing economic activity for the sake of preventing global warming is the International Monetary Fund. the IMF. In a recent call for global climate action, the IMF states that restrictions on economic activity and general emissions activity would have to far surpass those enforced during the pandemic in order to get their stated temperature target of less than 1.5 degrees Celsius. Open lockdowns of developed nations might not ultimately be the tool that globalists use to reach net zero. I hate that term, net zero. But carbon taxation and an oppressive scale could end up having the same effect. Carbon taxes could act like steep interest rate increases commonly used by central banks to slow economic activity during inflation. An indirect economic shutdown of this magnitude would be absolutely devastating for Western nations in particular, resulting in crippling energy shortages, food shortages, job losses, and eventually total collapse and a population plunge. Net zero is not possible otherwise. The IMF and other globalist organizations suggest that all nations must achieve a net zero goal by 2030 in order to avoid the climate cliff. The theory that once the Earth hits warming of more than 1.5 degrees Celsius, there will be a domino effect, which will lead to environmental catastrophe and even more carbon emissions and warming. To be clear, there is no evidence whatsoever to support the idea of the climate cliff. primarily because there is no evidence of a causation relationship between carbon emissions and global warming. In fact, there is no evidence that human industry has a warming effect on the climate whatsoever. I’m going to finish reading this article because it’s fascinating to me. We’ll be right back after this message from Franktown Firearms.
