SPEAKER 10 :
I often come to work with a theme in my head, and today’s theme is sort of, do you give up or do you dive in? Do you look the other way or do you have to face it squarely in the eye? Do you stare it in the eye? You know, do you give up on New York City? There’s a statistic out. This… Communist, this socialist, this leftist lunatic, Zoran Mamdani, made history with his primary victory. Do you know he got the most total votes ever in the history of a New York City mayoral primary? The guy could very well win. We either ignore it and we just say, you know what, New York, let it burn. And I know a lot of people feel that way. Or you say, wait a minute, this is a cherished American city. It is the cultural and sports and culinary and financial epicenter of the country. We can’t let it burn. We’ve got to fight. So that’s one conflict. There’s a conflict about the people who are politicizing the Texas floods. On the one hand, do you ignore them and hope they’ll go away? Or do you identify these people, these ghouls, these horrific, horrific, awful people who are saying essentially that these little girls deserve to die because they’re in a red state and their parents probably support Trump? Do you ignore them or do you expose them and do you shame them? Do you identify them? That’s another one, another conflict. And speaking of the flooding, you’ve been asking us for days, how can you help? What can we do? And I’m ready. Thanks to Food for the Poor, this incredible organization. They are on the ground providing relief kits. Emergency relief kits to these flood-ravaged families. These are kits that include tarps, women’s care kits, liquid IV, diapers, children’s activity kits, and other essentials. Needed to ease the crisis, you can step up and help because just $50 will send a family in Kerr County, Texas, an emergency relief kit. $500. We’ll send 10 families emergency relief kits. We’ll have a link up shortly, but before we get there, I have a phone number I can give you right now where you can donate. 844-860-HOPE. That’s 844-860-4673. So do your thing. You know what to do. Let’s do what America does. Let’s help our neighbors. And let’s help the people of Kerr County, Texas. Again, 844-860-HOPE, 844-860-4673. Thank you. And let’s not look the other way. And then finally, we’ve got the issue of the Epstein files. And some of my colleagues are rolling their eyes. I’ve got people who I respect and and consider friends, because they are. They’re colleagues who just want the whole thing to go away, move on, nothing to see. My buddy Mark Davis in Dallas, my colleague and friend Hugh Hewitt, Hugh writes today for Fox News, there’s no conspiracy theory, there’s no list, there’s nothing here. Basically, they got under the hood, the Trump administration, there’s nothing there, move on. And see, I’ve got this pesky habit I like to listen to my audience. I do. I don’t want to shut down conversation. That’s what happened when Trump came on the scene. There were hosts who wanted to shut him down and shut MAGA down. Conservative hosts. Establishment Republicans who said, don’t listen to these people. We’re going to move on. And I said, wait a minute. We can’t move on. We’ve got to be there for these people. What are you talking about moving on? Not listening. Condescending in your attitude. Patronizing. Oh, you, my friend Mark, and I hate to keep throwing him under the bus, but he calls people conspiracy dorks. You’re conspiracy theory dorks. And there’s just a segment, a small segment. MAGA isn’t breaking apart. The Trump administration isn’t collapsing. The Trump agenda isn’t dead because of this. And look, he’s right. This is not the DEFCON 1, World War III Armageddon that the legacy media wants it to be. They want us to be at each other’s throats. Make no mistake, they want us to disagree with each other, and they want us to challenge Trump. Because remember, as I pointed out to one of my Trump-supporting buddies a few minutes ago, you push back against the narrative that there’s nothing there. You’re really pushing back against Trump. We saw his annoyance the other day when people were peppering Pam Bondi with questions. So understand, like it or not, you’re telling Trump he’s full of it. You’re disagreeing, and that’s okay. You’re allowed to do that. It’s okay. I just want you to know that. Recognize when you dive into this, when you push back against the narrative that there’s nothing there, there’s not a client Epstein list, You’re pushing back against President Trump himself. And maybe you’re willing to do that. Maybe you’re not. 800-655-MIKE. Let’s find out. Because, see, unlike some of my friends and colleagues, I do want to talk about the things that you want to talk about. And I’m getting the same emails and text messages and phone calls that everybody else is. This isn’t going to, I think, fade away. Maybe it will. I don’t know. But I am willing to engage you on this on any level you want. 800-655-MIKE. Eddie from Columbus writes a text on the MyPillow text line. Since the Biden administration weaponized the Justice Department, covered up Biden’s cognitive decline, and lied about just about everything else they did, is it really that far-fetched to think that they wouldn’t have destroyed all the evidence concerning the Epstein files? especially since he died in such a strange way. That’s the kind of conversation, Eddie, that I’m willing to have. Ph.D. weight loss has changed my life, and I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. You’ve seen the story recently about the study that shows that a lot of people that are getting this are going blind. SPEAKER 10 :
I want to dive right in. 20 past the hour. Here’s Pennsylvania. I want to trust Trump. I’ve been let down for 63 years. I’m apprehensive at the very least. Elizabethtown, Kentucky. MAGA is not dead, but this just shows how deep the deep state is. I had a couple people on my team say that when I played the clip of Alex Jones crying in his car this week, just so upset when… the Trump administration announced that there’s nothing here, you know, it’s over, there’s no list, there’s no… I had a couple people say I kind of felt the same way. I was so despondent that after years of believing that there would be some kind of revelation about people who… were involved in the trafficking of young girls on Epstein Island, that it all comes to a close like this. Now, I also want to deal with, before we take your calls, and lines are jammed, and I promise I’ll shut up here in just a moment, but I want to get this off my chest. None of us have ever met a conspiracy theory we didn’t love. We’re all prone to this. We’re all enamored with, look at the weather. I saw a segment yesterday that Will Kane did on Fox News about cloud seeding. I could do nine hours. I could jam my lines for the next 12 hours with people who are convinced that the weather is being manipulated. And P.S., I think there’s some merit to this. I watched a guy get interviewed who’s involved in manipulating the weather. Guy’s got a company that does it. It’s called Cloud Seeding. Now, the guy said, now, these are not chemtrails. This is just taking already existing clouds and adding moisture. I didn’t even know what he was talking about. But this guy’s sitting there doing all these interviews, including Fox News Channel, talking about manipulating the weather. So don’t tell me you can’t manipulate the weather. Now, am I enamored with a conspiracy theory? Maybe. I don’t know. Do I think that the weather got manipulated in Kerrville, Texas? No. But I also know what I don’t know. Know what I mean? Know what I mean? All right, let’s go. 800-655-MIKE. Kenny in San Antonio. We’ll start there. Hey, Kenny, welcome aboard. How you doing?
SPEAKER 01 :
Good. Thank you, sir. Good. I have to say probably there was a list at some point, but like you said, it’s been expunged, whatever. But I have to agree with someone I heard on the radio the other day. Knowing Kash Patel and Dan Bongino the way we do, especially Dan, I think he’d rather quit or cut off a right arm rather than let pedophiles on this magnitude get away.
SPEAKER 10 :
I agree. See, that’s the thing. You’re going to have to believe, and that’s such an important point, that people who we admire and trust so deeply, including Trump himself, you’d have to believe that they’re involved in a massive cover-up of pedophiles. And I don’t believe that. You’re right. I don’t believe that about Dan Bongino. Dan Bongino is a law and order guy. Dan Bongino is not going to let people get away with this. So, look, I’ll say, I’ll admit, I’m inclined to believe that what they say is true. That they’ve investigated it. There’s no list there. There’s no there there anymore. The guy, the monster that was the head of the snake, he’s dead. I’m not sure how he died, but they say he killed himself, and they say it’s time to move on. I’m inclined to go with that, okay? That’s me. But what I’m not going to do is shut you down if you don’t agree with me. Gerardo is in San Jose, California. Hi, Gerardo. How are you?
SPEAKER 07 :
Hi, Mike. One of the things that made the MAGA movement is exposing the media and how they tried to make fools of us. Now, the message that the president and his administration is doing is saying that, hey, Jelaine Maxwell’s in prison for what? For nothing? For trafficking minors to nobody? Why is she in there? So that’s the question that we all have. Same thing with Epstein, the first time in 06.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, so let me go back to what I just said, though, a moment ago. Then do you believe people who have the character that Dan Bongino or Donald Trump possess are involved in a massive cover-up of pedophiles? They may be threatened. Who’s threatened? Who knows? But you’re suggesting that Dan Bongino and Donald Trump and others are compromised, right?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, what I’m suggesting is why is Jelaine Maxwell in jail for? That’s not what I asked you.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s a conspiracy theory tactic, and I do it too. I love to do it. I’m not finding fault with you, but I do the same thing. Let’s pivot to something else real quick. Look, I don’t know what she’s in. I can find out. Tracy, pull up reasons why she’s incarcerated. I don’t know why she’s in prison, but what I do know is you’re suggesting that Trump and people like Trump and Dan Bongino are involved in a massive conspiracy to cover up pedophiles.
SPEAKER 07 :
Not necessarily Trump because he does have a little bit more power, but Dan Bongino being a family guy, and if anybody approaches his family in any way, I think he’ll be defensive or he’ll, like, try to protect them in any way. But my question, I mean, so that covers that.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, what it covers in your mind is Dan Bongino is compromised because he doesn’t want his family threatened. Look, here’s the other point of view, and I just got a text from Orlando. And, again, I’m not shutting down what people are talking about. Orlando says, I’m so sick of Epstein talk from people like you and Glenn Beck. Get over it. I’m turning your radio show off. I’ll see you Monday. Well, what about tomorrow? You going to skip Friday? Or are you so enraged, Orlando, that you think it’s Friday already? But, again, that’s a relevant point of view. That’s the point of view of my friend Mark Davis.
SPEAKER 09 :
Mark says, look, I think it’s a tune-out for people. I think all this Epstein talk annoys people. And clearly there’s somebody in Orlando who’s annoyed. And they’re giving me the ultimate threat. We’re going to turn you off. You’re done. We’re finished.
SPEAKER 10 :
And we’ll miss you, but I hope you’ll come back, Orlando. I really do. Hope you’ll come back. Look, like I said, I’m inclined to believe there’s no there there. And frankly, I’m inclined to move on, but I’m not going to move on before I hear you out. Because that’s what I like doing here on the Mike Gallagher Show. I hope you don’t mind. Sorry, Orlando. 800-655-MIKE. Portions of our show brought to you by MyPillow and Big Deal. Two sales in one. First, they’re having a closeout sale on the percale bedsheets. Any size, any color, $25. The Mike Gallagher Show. We inherited a mess and I’m not sure where all these deficit hawks were when the team Biden was blowing out the deficit. We don’t have a tax collection problem. We have a spending problem and we’re trying to get that. under control. We are also trying to accelerate growth. Changing the growth trajectory upward solves a lot of the deficit problems.

Promo code MikeG or call 800-928-6034. 800-928-6034. You know, as long as we’re in the conspiracy theory lane, I feel like who is the guy who used to do Conspiracy Day? That was Michael Medved. Michael Medved used to do on his show back in the day Conspiracy Theory Day. And he would have everybody call in with the wildest conspiracy theories imaginable. So we go from the Epstein drama to manipulating the weather. And weather is front and center. I mean, considering what they’ve been going through in Texas. And again, you could help by sending emergency relief kits to this devastated community of Kerrville, Texas, by calling 844-860-HOPE. 844-860-HOPE. And thank you for supporting Kerr County, Texas. I know they’ve been having flooding in North Carolina. The climate change hysterics insist that man-made climate change is doing it all. And then we get into the area of manipulating the weather. Can man manipulate the weather? So I watched yesterday this segment on Will Kane’s show on Fox News Channel where My jaw almost hit the floor. Check out this guy who guested. He was a guest. Apparently he’s been making the rounds with Dinesh and other shows. And now there he is sidling right up to Fox News Channel’s fancy Texas set of the brand new Will Cain show.
SPEAKER 02 :
Welcome back. Congress is looking to take action, at least some in Congress, after the tragic flooding in Texas. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is targeting weather modification. She announced on X, introducing a bill that prohibits the injection, release or dispersion of chemicals into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering the weather, adding it will be a felony offense. We must end the dangerous and deadly practice of weather modification. Now, one of the techniques under the umbrella of weather modification is cloud seeding. It’s an experiment that dates back to 1946, and it’s now especially widespread in Texas, covering about one-sixth of the state, spanning 31 million acres. So what is cloud seeding? It’s a technique designed to help a cloud produce more rain, and here’s how it works. A chemical compound, most oftenly silver iodide, is used to form small crystals that are put into clouds. It’s usually by a drone. That process then helps trigger rain. It can also reduce hail and clear fog. It’s produced, by the way, modest results so far, increasing rainfall anywhere from 5 to 20 percent. Now, here’s how it’s used. States use cloud seeding to produce rain in areas that are experiencing drought. It can also help generate snow in mountain regions. One of the instances of how it’s been used in history, by the way, is Operation Popeye in the Vietnam War. Our army used it to prolong the monsoon season, hoping to bog down the Viet Cong’s logistics line, making it harder for them to reinforce the front line. Now, my next guest is an expert in this field. He’s also been the center of a lot of controversy since the flooding in Texas. And here’s what he has said in the past about cloud seeding.
SPEAKER 03 :
If you have the right kind of radar and you fly in a zigzag or in a circle or in your initials and you only see precipitation on the radar in your flight track, then you can say, oh, that is definitively man-made because we flew in this zigzag or we flew in this spiral and there’s only precipitation occurring in that shape. They did that in Idaho in 2017 multiple times.
SPEAKER 02 :
Now, I want you to take a look at this. The red line at the bottom of your screen, that’s the flight path of his company, Rainmaker, and their cloud seeding operations on July 2nd, just days before the deadly Texas floods. Now, some are questioning whether or not that flight played a role in the floods.
SPEAKER 10 :
My gosh. So, I mean, is that a conspiracy theory? The guy’s name is Augustus Dorica. He’s the Rainmaker Tech Corporation CEO. Look, I got to say it, and you could get mad at me again, Orlando, and turn me off until… Eric, incidentally, made a great point. Don’t you love it when people like the texter from Orlando gets mad at me for a topic? And instead of just going away… has to sit down and compose a text to tell me that you’re going away. And you’ll see me next Monday. I love the line on the internet that says, you’re not a train station, you don’t need to announce your departure.
SPEAKER 09 :
This is the Long Island Railroad, train number 4755 for Manhasset, departing at 455.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s Orlando. That’s the linear equivalent. And all it is is to try to get at me. You know, I just love it. And people don’t understand. It just cracks me up. And Eric’s right. You’re so upset at me for talking about something for a few minutes that you don’t want to talk about, i.e. the Epstein files, that you’ve got to announce that you’re going to turn me off, you’re going to go listen somewhere else, or you’re never going to hear me again, and may a pox be on my household. I love that. This is a train station. You don’t need to announce your departure. Anyway, so let’s dive into this because Will suggested that cloud seeding is a real thing. He’s the CEO of a company called Rainmaker. And of course, is it beyond the pale that man is capable of Of creating rain. What is cloud seeding? Does this have something to do with chemtrails? My buddy Lionel in New York City… hates that term chemtrails. Now, Lionel’s a big believer in all this stuff. He’s never met a conspiracy theory he didn’t love. And Lionel is like, don’t call them chemtrails because that’s a tune-out phrase. But there’s something going on up there. So let me turn it over to you, 800-655-MIKE. Pennsylvania just texted me, Mike, these theories aren’t conspiracies if they are true. So is it a conspiracy theory? Do we ignore it? Do we pretend it doesn’t exist? Or do we dive in? Do you think there are efforts to manipulate the weather? And as Will Cain pointed out, there was evidently some kind of flight pattern going In Texas, that may or may not have contributed to the flooding there. You know, the left likes to say these terrible… Nature events are the result of the devious Republicans who leave big carbon footprints. It’s our fault. It’s man’s fault, particularly Republicans’ fault. But on the other hand, maybe something’s going on with this flooding that has to do with cloud seeding. And if indeed there’s such a thing as cloud seeding, well, that is absolutely definitive evidence evidence of weather manipulation. Incidentally, we found a story, real quick, one last final note on, because the guy said why, everybody says why is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison? She was sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls for at least a decade. She was convicted of of multiple charges related to sex trafficking and conspiracy. Well, what the caller was asking is, if she was involved in trafficking, who were the men that were abusing the children? I mean, trafficking isn’t just for Jeffrey Epstein. And that’s the question that a lot of reasonable people are asking. So, all right, let’s move on now on our homage… to Conspiracy Day and find out about cloud seeding and weather manipulation.

SPEAKER 06 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 10 :
During every presidency, we’re going to have a variety of opinions about how a particular administration is conducting business, whatever you think of Donald Trump. whether you love him, whether you hate him, whether you’re indifferent, you have to be concerned about things like the executive branch and constitutional authority. I’ve read Dan McLaughlin for years. He’s a senior writer at National Review Online and a fellow at National Review Institute. And he wrote a piece after a district, a single federal judge, one Obama appointee, ordered that the defunding of Planned Parenthood as specified in the One Big Beautiful Bill can’t happen and that the funds have to continue. To quote Dan’s article… You got that right. A single federal judge is ordering that public monies be spent after the Congress of the United States specifically passed a law declining to spend them. You can’t argue with the judge’s reasoning, Dan says, because there isn’t any. It’s just a raw exercise of power. Let’s welcome to the show Dan McLaughlin, senior writer at National Review Online. Dan, I’m very honored you could join us. Thanks for spending a few minutes with our audience here at the Mike Gallagher Show. How are you, sir? All right. Good morning, Mike. Let’s talk a little bit about the idea of a judge, one judge trying to block justice. an agenda item like this. This is not just a typical policy position that Trump came up with. As you put it in your column, this was something that the Congress specifically did. And yet you say that the resistance of these judges can sometimes be described as justified, sometimes excessive, but sometimes downright lawless and dangerous. This is the case indeed with Planned Parenthood versus Kennedy, is it not?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, I mean, this this decision is to use a technical legal term bonkers. I mean, it’s really and it’s shocking. What’s shocking is not that one judge would decide this case because it’s actually it’s not like a nationwide injunction case. Right. It’s dealing with just Planned Parenthood. But what is shocking is that, you know, they filed suit on the bill was signed into passed on Thursday, signed into law on Friday. They filed suit on Monday afternoon and she issues a temporary restraining order immediately without even waiting to see a brief from the Justice Department. Right. So she does this entirely after hearing from one side. which is extraordinary judges do extraordinary things but when they issue a temporary restraining order the usual idea is they’re just trying to keep things as they are right like if if you and i are fighting about a bank account and you go to court and say you know restrain that guy from giving that money away so that the judge has time to decide whose money it is that’s fine But this is the opposite of that. The judge is ordering that the money go out the door. And it really goes to the very core power of Congress. There is no power of Congress more important than the power to decide not to spend public money. And our system is designed so that the House in particular can just say no. And here they went beyond saying, no, we’re not going to fund that. They affirmatively declined to fund it. So it’s really, really extraordinary that they’ve done this and that she’s done this and that she’s created this confrontation not only with Trump, because there have been a lot of confrontations between Trump and judges, but in this case between her and Trump and Congress and really the appeals courts, because she’s trying to get the money out the door before an appeal can be filed.
SPEAKER 10 :
And it’s not just this judge. In fact, almost in real time, as we’re talking just today, a federal judge in New Hampshire has placed a new nationwide block on President Trump’s efforts to end birthright citizenship. Now, two weeks ago, the U.S. Supreme Court opened a path for the Trump administration to begin enforcing the order, but today… U.S. District Judge Joseph LaPlante issued a temporary injunction. So, you know, the dilemma, Dan, seems to be this. You write in your column how the executive branch must comply with the rule of law and the order of courts. So Trump haters, Trump critics, people opposed to the Trump administration will say, well, wait a minute, a judge comes along and says you’ve got to keep funding Planned Parenthood. Trump has to go along with that. What do you say to that argument?
SPEAKER 05 :
I think that’s normally the rule, but there are, you know, there are cases at the outer limits of that. And I think, you know, I think if Trump goes to the First Circuit and the Supreme Court and they issue a reasoned, you know, judicial opinion after hearing from both sides saying this law is unconstitutional, which I don’t think it is. I don’t think there’s a reasonable argument that it is. You know, then that’s one thing. And Trump, I think, at that point would have to comply. But I don’t think that, you know, that he ought to to send the money out the door that he can’t get back again. You know, I mean, that’s that’s an egg that cannot be unscrambled at that.
SPEAKER 10 :
They’re just trying to run out the clock. In other words, kick the proverbial can down the road and get as much funding as they can for as long as they can before cooler heads prevail. And I guess the Supreme Court comes back. I mean, Dan, what is the remedy to all of this? Is it solely with SCOTUS? Is that the only choice we have?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, there are several remedies. I mean, obviously, first, they can go to the First Circuit, the Intermediate Appeals Court, although the First Circuit is pretty liberal. They can go to the Supreme Court. Obviously, Trump has the self-help remedy here if he can simply refuse to disperse the money unless and until, you know, there’s been an appellate resolution of this. You know, there’s also the matter, I mean, Congress does not have the votes to impeach a federal judge, and they haven’t, you know, they haven’t tried to do that over a judge’s rulings since 1804. But they could certainly pass a resolution of censure. Trump could ask the appeals courts to take this judge off the case. Something like that would at least send a message that, you know, this kind of misconduct is not just lightly tolerated, even by federal district judges.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s got to stop. It just has to stop. And I hear it from people in our audience every day. We’ve got to stop these rogue judges who are clearly, as you put it – I mean, look, National Review, it’s not a secret. You guys aren’t exactly MAGA. And I don’t say this as a criticism, but – It’s not like you’re fawning over a Trump agenda item. You’re concerned about the rule of law. You’re a litigator. You’ve covered this for years, and you’re very alarmed by these rogue – these district judges coming along and trying to thwart the will of Congress. That’s deeply, deeply problematic. And, Dan, I would submit that whatever you think of Trump and his agenda, whatever you think of this administration – This has got to you got to push back against this or we’re going to have nothing but chaos and anarchy.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah. And this is this is we saw a similar thing in in I think it was February or March with Judge Ali in D.C. with the USAID case where, again, he was trying to force them to spend money. You know, I think one of the fair criticisms of Trump at times has been that his administration is trying to race ahead of the courts to create new facts on the ground before the law can catch up with it. And it’s fair to be concerned about that. But here we have judges doing exactly that. And that cannot be tolerated. The executive branch shouldn’t tolerate it. The Congress shouldn’t tolerate it. And the appeals courts shouldn’t tolerate it.
SPEAKER 10 :
We’re visiting with Dan McLaughlin, senior writer at National Review Online. He’s a fellow at the National Review Institute. I want to throw you a little bit of a curveball in the minute or two we have left. I know that you’ve practiced law in New York City. You know New York City. You’re a big baseball fan. I know baseball crank. I follow you, and I love your work. Let’s talk a little bit about the historic primary victory of Mamdani, if you don’t mind. Because, look, he made history the other day. He got more votes in a New York City primary that have ever been recorded in the history of New York. This guy’s got a lot of momentum. Dan, as a guy who loves New York my whole life, I dreamed of getting a job there and working and living there and playing there, and I did. I loved living in midtown Manhattan. I love the vibe, the energy. I know what New York represents not only to America but to the world, the financial and the entertainment and the cultural center of the universe. for Zoran Mamdani to get elected mayor? Are you as terrified by that prospect as I am?
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, yeah. It’s very… It’s extremely ominous. I will say, by the way, he didn’t get the most first-place votes. It’s only because of this weird rank-choice voting system that they allocated him more votes. The record is… Although the record is still held by David Dinkins, which is a very dubious person, you know, in whose footsteps to follow. So… I mean, part of the problem here is, you know, there’s this enormous generational turnover in New York. You know, people come and go from the city. Most people aren’t lifelong New Yorkers. You know, Mamdani was born when Dickens was mayor. He doesn’t remember what the city was like back then. There’s a lot of young people in New York. There’s a lot of immigrants in New York. Always have been a lot of immigrants in New York. So there’s a lack of historical memory of what the city had to do to get to be where it got under Giuliani and Bloomberg. But look, there’s about 8.8 million people in New York, 5.5 million registered voters, about 3.3 million registered Democrats. And even with the rank choice, Mamdani has about 550,000 votes. So You know, that’s about a tenth of the of the overall registered voter population city. So, you know, the challenge of stopping Mamdani is to get everybody behind one candidate and get, you know, some decent turnout because turnout’s been very low in the last few mayoral elections. But, you know, that’s not easy to do with the egos involved and some of the characters involved, like Eric Adams and Andrew Cuomo as your alternatives to Mamdani. But I think it really is, you know, Mamdani would be… You know, in the footsteps of, say, Brandon Johnson in Chicago or worse, particularly as a guy who is sort of vocally pro Hamas, you know, in a city that is not only economically and culturally important to America, but diplomatically important because of the U.S.
SPEAKER 10 :
I cannot even begin to imagine what it must feel like to be a Jewish New Yorker and know that a guy like this who has displayed what I think is rank anti-Semitism could actually become the mayor of New York City. Jewish New Yorkers must feel completely, completely in despair.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, no, I mean, I think there’s a lot of very genuine alarm. The question is, does that alarm translate into political action and political unity?
SPEAKER 10 :
We will see. We will see. I appreciate your work very much, and I’m glad you could spend a few minutes with us. And I also love your work about, you know, one of my great insights to baseball is having one of my best friends, a longtime, decades-long Major League Baseball umpire. Boy, do I have stories, Dan. What a way to make a living, huh? Almost beats what we get to do. Thanks for joining us, Dan. All the best. Thanks for having me. You bet. 19 past the hour, Dan McLaughlin, National Review Online. And I think the question remains, and it’s one that I think about a lot, to this audience, and I would pose it to you. Do you let New York destroy itself by getting this guy, letting this guy get elected? Should we fight for New York? I was talking to our team yesterday. We might be trying to put together like a rally, a Stop Mom Donnie rally in the New York area in October because I believe New York is worth fighting for. On the other hand, maybe your attitude is give them what they deserve. They get what they deserve. If they’re stupid enough to vote for a radical, dangerous, far, far left Like Dan just said, mayor of Chicago on steroids? Well, then you get what you deserve. Knock yourself out. Have fun, New York. It’s up to you. Where are you with that? Whether you’re in New York or beyond, let’s get everybody’s perspective. 800-655-MIKE. Do you let New York fend for itself? They’re on their own? Or do you think we all ought to be fighting? to try to block Zoran Mamdani for New York City mayor. 800-655-MIKE. Join us. Hey, what about Epstein? I got to play this for you. Guys, can you – Can we sit tight for two seconds? Sure, sure, because I know you don’t want to do it. Oh, I’m going to beat you to death with it because I like Tom. I like me some Tom Fitton.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s kind of okay, and I do like Tom Fitton. Before we go crawling into that dork’s treehouse cave, on the notion of reaction to blood stuff, You and I went through something kind of interesting, but you did on your own show, and I did on Twitter back and forth, of people, I guess supposedly good-hearted, decent folks, who reacted to something in a very weird way. You gave me, and this was live radio reaction because I didn’t know it was coming. You characterized to me this beautiful painting of a loving Jesus welcoming you. girls with hugs and their smiles. It’s emblematic of the joy that awaits us all in heaven, whether we arrive.
SPEAKER 10 :
Somebody captioned, this is what I imagine heaven looked like.
SPEAKER 11 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 10 :
The morning of September 5th, July 5th.
SPEAKER 11 :
I’m about to take a call from not only somebody who doesn’t, the painting’s not their favorite thing, but help me out with this. You took a call from somebody yesterday who said the painting was fantastic.
SPEAKER 10 :
Sinful? Graven images. He said it’s violating the commandment against worshiping graven images. I said, nobody’s worshiping the painting.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yep, the guy was very… So it’s not a cartoon contest where you get shot for drawing Muhammad. I mean, that’s not our thing.
SPEAKER 10 :
This is intriguing because the man did declare that he believes every painting, every depiction of Jesus is sinful because he believes… It’s all sinful. All of it is sinful, and that was his position. But now let’s go a little deeper. Let’s talk about your pal, Uncle Barky. Uncle Barky, who’s a Texas fixture, Dallas-Fort Worth guy. TV literature. And Trump hating TDS sufferer. I mean, he’s foaming at the mouth, hates Donald Trump, and seems to hate conservatism. That’s fine. That’s up to him. A lot of people in the media and a lot of those TV folks, that’s how they are. Well, he posted yesterday, when you reposted that painting, he said, not my favorite thing either. And you said, excuse me? And what did he say?
SPEAKER 11 :
And what did he say the problem was? He said, first of all, I’m raised Catholic. I was an altar boy or whatever. He said that the painting seemed to deliver not a proper rationale for the tragedy that Jesus or God would snatch these kids and be happy about it. I said, dude, stop. Snatch these kids? What? No, there’s nothing in this painting that suggests that a gleeful Jesus said, time to go get the mystic girls. What? It was just very strange. Everybody comes at this in a wide variety of ways. And the painting didn’t have to be your favorite thing. But, wow, there certainly was nothing dark about it.
SPEAKER 10 :
The painting happens to be a joyful expression of Christianity and our faith and everything we believe. And for a guy who says he was raised a Catholic and an altar boy to not like the image of a beaming Jesus welcoming these children into his arms, that is beyond peculiar. But here’s the thing. I tell you, and Uncle Barky’s probably in this category, just complete, full-time contrarians. And we have it in our business every day, Mark, whether it’s a caller, whether it’s a texter, somebody that can take the most wholesome, wonderful thing and dump all over it. They’re just contrarians. They’re going to like, well, wait a minute, I’m going to take the opposite point of view here. And you’ve got to be aware of contrarians. we got a lot of that going on right now with Trump and with EPS and I want to include the Epstein thing. I will. Well, but let’s Mark, you can’t run from this. You can’t.
SPEAKER 11 :
What’s my favorite is wisdom and knowing whom to ignore. This is not a magic controversy. It is not a bedrock problem for Trump. It is not an uprising. It is not. These people are an annoyance. It’s not that they don’t have a point they can make. It’s fine. I get it. I get it. I get it. But doggone it, man. Well, let’s play Tom Fitton.
SPEAKER 10 :
You said yesterday, you declared… Literal length of the Tom Fitton cut. It’s short. You declared there’s no… Here’s what you said. The reason I want to play it is because you told me definitively there’s no Epstein list. Oh, really? There’s no Epstein list. Really, Mark? No, there’s no list. You don’t think there’s a list.
SPEAKER 11 :
sitting there of firm clients that we know about.
SPEAKER 10 :
For years, they’ve been talking about the Epstein client list, including Dan Bongino, Dan Bongino, Dan Bongino, but Pam Bondi, people at the highest levels of government right now.
SPEAKER 11 :
About some people who used to be in the commentary world like Bon Jovi. And you know what they did? They got important jobs where they have access to this information and said, you know what? Maybe it wasn’t in the form of some actual tidy list. We can find old Bill Clinton, old Bill Gates. That could be. That could be. Yeah. Ain’t no client list. That was always, it was always catnip for conspiracy dorks.
SPEAKER 10 :
You could be right, but you could be wrong. You could absolutely be wrong. Well, there may never be a day the list comes out because it ain’t going to happen. Here’s Tom Fitton last night with Laura Ingram.
SPEAKER 04 :
I think they decided for political purposes they didn’t want to include the individuals who are on these lists and put them in the public domain. And they were concerned that some of them maybe may not have done something warranting the disclosure. I mean, that’s that’s the most charitable interpretation.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s all I’ll say, but I don’t know what you’re saying, Mark. In other words, Dan Bongino and Kash Patel are protecting people of power and privilege on some imaginary list. Do you believe that?
SPEAKER 10 :
I don’t know that I can rule it out. I don’t know I can’t rule it out. I’m ruling that. Really?
SPEAKER 11 :
I’m ruling that. I do not believe. And again, my faith and trust, my bar is high. I mean, Trump, you and I have talked a lot about, we trust Trump. Terrorists might not be our favorite thing in a vacuum. Trump wants to do it, let’s trust him. Dan Bongino, Kash Patel, these are people of rock-solid character. These are people whose service to this nation in many ways is beyond doubt, and I am going to choose to trust them and not for one solitary second believe that they are involved in some sinister protection racket of the rich and powerful on some imaginary Epstein-Claude.
SPEAKER 10 :
And I respect that, and I— And I respect that view. I just don’t want to run from our audience. And I get annoyed sometimes. You’re shutting down. Well, you’re talking to people and you’re talking down to people. You’re saying, there you go, a bunch of dorks, conspiracy dorks. Oh, all the conspiracy. You’re talking down to them, Mark. You’re patronizing them. You’re patronizing your own audience.
SPEAKER 11 :
people who will not hear the other side there is there are there are principles and habits of conspiracy dorkery no matter what they hear it always brings me back no matter what i know and if somebody i know all things being equal i kind of do think there’s like that’s fine i’ll talk to somebody like that yeah yeah yeah i got it i got it you’re getting some of what christine all is doing by saying i’m not going to talk about it and then talking about it for two flipping hours you’re
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s catnip. It’s hard. It’s hard to ignore it. It’s hard to ignore. But here’s the thing. And I learned this early on in the Trump era. There were certain hosts who said, I’m not going to entertain this Trump guy. I’m not going to talk to my audience. I don’t want to listen to them. And look, we got a bunch of people, Mark, who are talking about this. And for us to say, la, la, la, la, la, I’m not going to talk about it. They’re just dorks.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think it’s the truth. I think in entertaining, oh, please, everybody in conspiracy treehouse land, please fill my lines for three stinking hours. You are still serving the 90-plus percent. We want you to talk about the way we’re saving America and things that are real problems rather than just this Epstein garbage. So if you’re talking about serving the listeners, I’d say me being damn done with it serves them a lot better than indulging it for another day.
SPEAKER 10 :
Fair enough. That, ladies and gentlemen, is Mark Davis, D-A-V-I-S, at Mark Davis on X. Boom. I, on the other hand, am Mike Gallagher at Gallagher Show. I love all people. I’m peace and love. Peace and love. I’m here for everybody.
