Delve into the nuances of the passing of Pope Francis and what it means for the Catholic Church as a new era beckons. Mike Gallagher shares insights into the prevailing conservative sentiment sweeping through younger generations, supported by anecdotes from Easter gatherings and the widespread coverage of Carrie Underwood’s performance on American Idol. This episode offers a comprehensive discussion on the juxtaposition of traditional values against the backdrop of contemporary issues.
SPEAKER 08 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior. Mike Gallagher. Broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide. And seen on your trusted conservative TV network. Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike. Breaking now on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 11 :
In the death of Pope Francis, who passed away at the age of 88, we’ll check in with Roger P. Shulman in the Mike Gallagher Show newsroom a little later this hour to get the details on what the process is now, who the possible successors will be. And I just cannot shake the feeling of a spiritual awakening that’s going on in the country and in the world. This isn’t just here in America. Anecdotally, we see young kids on college campuses becoming more conservative than ever. Different world leaders are becoming more conservative than ever. Look at the guy in El Salvador. Decided to lock up all the gang members and crime plummeted by 90%. And, of course, we’ve got Democrats in America… who are walking around with sandwich boards saying, we are all gang members. I mean, I saw signs Saturday in New York City, people, a bunch of white boomers, and that’s all that are in these protests. If you’re watching right now on Salem News Channel, the video you’re seeing, that’s video that I took on Madison Avenue with my iPhone. And there were people, you know, there were young people. I’m not going to say they were all boomers, but they were mainly older white Americans walking around with signs that said things like, we are all Kilmar. I don’t know about you, but I’m not a gang member. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to say I’m a criminal. I’m an illegal. I’m a terrorist. I’m a member of the MS-13 dangerous gang. But this is what the left has been reduced to. And for some reason, watching these thousands of people Saturday didn’t really bother me. It’s okay. Good. Take to the streets. You’re not happy with the guy who’s your president. And he is your president, whether you like it or not. You’re stuck with Donald Trump for another three and a half years. And you’re going to have to learn to cope. Because nothing’s going to change that. All the protests in the world won’t stop what’s happening. But what’s also happening is something that isn’t even… under Trump’s control. There is something very profoundly spiritual happening. Look, here’s the death of the Pope, and it is believed to be that the leading candidates to replace him are going to be way more conservative than he was. Now, that’s not saying much, because he was a very, very progressive leftist Pope. Pope Francis didn’t meet a woke cause that he didn’t gravitate to. And a whole lot of people in the world are saying it’s time to get a return to more traditional conservative values within the Catholic Church. We will see. But I am just filled with this belief that something is happening right in front of our very eyes. Something special is occurring. Now, there’s challenges in terms of this deportation. We knew that the mass deportations were going to bring out all kinds of emotion and drama. We knew that was coming from the day that Trump got elected. But it’s the spiritual awakening, the spiritual revival, if you will, that absolutely… is riveting. I got a call today from a guy, TJ, a great, loyal member of our audience, who said, Mike, did you see what happened on American Idol last night? I said, no, I haven’t watched American Idol in years. It was Faith Night on American Idol. This is a Hollywood show. And I used to watch it years ago. Back in the day, Denise and I loved that show. It’s a great narrative, you know, the young up-and-comer, the star, you know. It’s a cool, I love the premise. I just haven’t watched it. I don’t think I’ve watched regular network TV in a long time. So TJ got me thinking. I wonder what that was like. He said, wait till you hear Carrie Underwood’s How Great Thou Art. I mean, it was all of them. Lionel Richie. It was Faith Night on Easter Sunday on Tinseltown’s American Idol. Imagine, and I’ve got to share this with you. I want to start the show with this message. beautiful rendition of how great thou art. This is what matters. And all the other stuff is noise. The dramatics, the Democrats, the Republicans. Look, we’re all going to meet our maker someday. Death is the only inevitability. And eternal life is there for us if we choose it, if we take that path. And, I mean, I just, let me, all right, let me stop talking, and let me turn it over to her. You know Carrie Underwood, world-famous singer, and apparently she was one of the many highlights last night on American Idol’s Faith Night, and we wanted to share it with you.
SPEAKER 09 :
When I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the Then sings my soul My Savior God to Thee How great Thou art How great Thou art Then sings my soul Oh my Savior God sweet How great Thou art How great Thou art And when I think That God His Son sparing sent him to die I scarce can take it in that on the cross my burden gladly bearing he bled and died to take Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee. How great thou art. How great thou art. Then sings my soul, my Savior God,
SPEAKER 11 :
Gosh, that just brings chills and it makes you remember that there is something way bigger than any of us. That’s Carrie Underwood on American Idol. American Idol. Faith Night. When Carrie Underwood performed at Trump’s inauguration, I prayed for her. I thought, gosh, I hope they don’t completely destroy her. And they tried. But perhaps she’s cancel-proof. Don’t you feel encouraged by what we’re seeing right now? Despite the drama, nothing is sticking to me. For some reason, nothing seems to bother me today. The protesters I saw in New York City, I’m like, okay, it’s protest. Go ahead. March up Madison Avenue with a sign that says you think Trump’s Hitler. Walk around with signs that say, you know, how much you hate Donald Trump. If Kamala Harris got elected and thousands and thousands of Americans took to the streets, we’d be cheering them on. So that’s fine. The sign that really got to me was we are all Kilmar. We are all Kilmar. Imagine that. A gang member. A wife beater. A guy who’s a vicious, violent guy by all accounts. And the Democrats are enamored with him. Like they’re enamored with Luigi Mangione. Like they’re enamored with Carmelo Anthony in Frisco, Texas. They continually gravitate to the wrong side of just about every issue. Okay, let them. Because there’s something very special happening in our country and in the world. I believe we’re seeing a spiritual change. And as Texas just texted me, and you’re right, Texas, the spiritual change we are seeing is the rise in the Gen Z folks. They’re maturing from witnessing the decline of America. And know that we need more faith back in this country in order to survive. Here’s another text from Florida. At our sunrise service at SeaWorld, I’d estimate 60 to 70 percent were people age 25 to 35, young couples. It was wonderful to see. Something is changing. in this country, and we can’t lose sight of that. I want to see if you agree with me or not. 800-655-MIKE, 18 past the hour. SPEAKER 08 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike. Breaking now on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 11 :
Breaking news indeed. Here’s a headline from Axios. Pope Francis championed historically progressive stances. And that, one could say, is an understatement. Pope Francis died at the age of 88, 735 Vatican time. The cardinals now are going to decide the next pope after his funeral. Axios describes his passing this way, his advocacy often clashed with the church’s more conservative wing, particularly after the pontiff criticized conservative theologians’ suicidal attitude, as he called it, towards social change. You know, a lot of diehard old school Catholics I know have a big problem with Francis’s efforts to give women more leadership roles in church governance. In fact, in January, he named the first woman to head a major Vatican office. So definitely a lefty, a very progressive man, and nonetheless, an important, crucial leader of the world’s you know, billion-plus Catholics. Let’s get an update from Roger P. Shulman, who is in the Mike Gallagher Show newsroom covering this breaking story. You know, a lot of people, Roger, are talking about this movie Conclave, which just came out with Ray Fiennes earlier this year. And it’s got a very progressive ending, in fact. I don’t want to spoil, ruin it for people who want to see it. But the movie does go through the intricacies of that whole process of what the Cardinals go through. There’s a lot of ceremony, a lot of rituals, and this goes back many, many, many hundreds of years, doesn’t it?
SPEAKER 01 :
It does, and it is not in the Internet age at all, which is probably a good thing to continue the old traditions. The 120 cardinals out of the 136 will be voting. They don’t allow cardinals over 80 years of age to vote. That’s why those… extra 16 will not be voting. And there’s a nine-day mourning period. And then after that, they hold the traditional conclave where they get together. And once they agree, two-thirds of them agree on a candidate, then the senior cardinal deacon announces them from the balcony of St. Peter’s before the pope steps out to the adoring crowd and is announced as the new Vicar of Christ, the new Pope of the Catholic Church. 1.39 billion Catholics in the world, nearly 18% of the world’s population. About 53 million adults in the United States are Catholic. And it’s interesting how it is growing in some countries. Africa and the Nordic countries, surprisingly, are having a major growth in the Catholic faith. And the Nordic countries, you wouldn’t expect. They’re very secular. very progressive in many respects, but they are going back to their roots to the Catholic Church, which is quite a surprise.
SPEAKER 11 :
You know, I don’t want to drag a newsman like you into one of the Mike Gallagher Show topics, but I cannot help but think there is something, almost divine intervention happening with what I think is a spiritual revival occurring in America. I’m getting flooded with text messages from people who are telling me that yesterday a Churches have been packed, young people, tons of young people. I saw an article this morning in the New York Times that says that most young priests who are entering the priesthood are conservative. You’ve got young people on college campuses now more conservative than ever. In fact, you look at poll after poll showing people age 21 and younger are enormously conservative. And here’s a text message. And again, let me just go out on a limb here and put you on the spot. Here’s a text from Georgia. Mike, the Pope’s passing was indeed divine intervention. It was the day after Easter. He met with Vice President J.D. Vance and Catholic faithful, and then God took him home. America is having a revival. Do you feel that? Do you feel there’s something very special and otherworldly going on in our country and in our world, Roger P. Shulman?
SPEAKER 01 :
It is very possible. I mean, if you believe in God, you probably have to believe in the devil, depending on what faith you are. And the devil has had quite a heyday for the last few years. I think something has reached a tipping point, and people are really… realizing that this is not a good situation and it’s time to get back to our roots and back to godly situations because the devil’s way is not working that well. That is just my personal opinion. People are seeing the light.
SPEAKER 11 :
They are, and I think people are recognizing how repulsive it is to see major political figures embrace Really, really evil, awful things, whether it’s the guy that put the bullets in the back of Brian Thompson, the UnitedHealthcare CEO, or a gang member from El Salvador, or the young man who plunged a knife into the chest of another guy. That guy’s become a celebrity. It’s as if today’s Democrat Party… is just embracing some awful, awful things and people, and normal Americans are saying, enough already, enough of this. And we’re seeing it in poll after poll, but I really insist on remembering the spiritual context factor here. Last night, Roger, Carrie Underwood and American Idol, it was faith night. It was like a three-hour special on American Idol, and all they did was sing gospel hymns and spiritual messages. That was on American Idol last night, Roger.
SPEAKER 01 :
Well, people, I think, want that now. I think people are finding their faith after all the horrible things that have been happening. The past four years have been dreadful in this country, and we’ve seen the results of this. We’ve seen the results of socialism. We’ve seen the results of all of these things that do not work. People want something that works. And going back to their roots, back to the way it was in the 50s in this country, where people did go to church, they did have a religion in schools of some sort, prayer in schools. All of these things have been eliminated, and the results have pretty much, obviously, if you’re paying attention, not been good.
SPEAKER 11 :
I’m amazed by all of it. Roger, I appreciate you reporting as always. Thanks. Roger P. Shulman in our newsroom. And I got a play for you, Carrie Underwood. If you missed it, I’m going to play it again. I’m so profoundly amazed at this spirituality. Also, President Trump extending his condolences to Catholics today. and the world over the passing of Pope Francis. Moments ago, President Trump and the First Lady Melania appeared at the balcony of the White House for the big Easter egg roll. That’s always, I guess, traditionally the day after Easter. I’ve never really figured that out. But nonetheless, President Trump took that opportunity to praise Pope Francis and mourn his passing. We’ll share all that with you as well. It’s a Breaking News Monday in the Relief Factor studios. Welcome in. Our number is 800-655-MIKE if you want to call or text. But join us here on this really, really important edition, 800-655-6453. SPEAKER 08 :
The Mike Gallagher Show on Salem News Channel and the Salem Radio Network.
SPEAKER 07 :
You can tell where their heart is, where the Democrats’ heart is. Their heart is with the criminal illegals. Their heart is with the people who are endangering this country. Their heart is with the guy who beat his wife for heaven’s sake. I mean, this is absurd stuff. And it just shows you the moral lows to which they have stooped. They hate Trump so much that they are willing to go grovel to illegals in foreign countries.
SPEAKER 08 :
In the ReliefFactor.com studios, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 11 :
Man, that’s so powerful. That’s, of course, Josh Hawley with Jesse Waters on Fox News the other night. They hate Trump so much that they’re willing to go to El Salvador and grovel before a gang member. If you missed the Mark Davis, Mike Gallagher segment today, you’ve got to hear me pushing back with Mark saying, Mark is like, well, it would be nice if the El Salvador president would move the guy out of the prison. Well, who are we to tell the El Salvador president what to do with an El Salvadoran gang member? That’s up to them. I don’t care if they want to put him in a luxury apartment. That’s their decision, not ours. He’s not an American citizen. Check out Dana Bash asking Van Hollen yesterday repeatedly. I mean repeatedly. Is Albrego Garcia an MS-13 gang member or not? Pay very close attention to Chris Van Hollen’s answer. More specifically, his non-answer.
SPEAKER 02 :
Can you say with absolute certainty that he is not, nor has he ever been, a member of the MS-13 gang? And did you ask him point blank?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, Dana, what Donald Trump is trying to do here is change the subject. The subject at hand is that he and his administration— Stop it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Stop it right there. Stop it right there. Isn’t that amazing? He’s on CNN, and now he’s shocked. He’s like, uh-oh, uh-oh. Dana, who I thought was on my side, is asking me a trick question. And I love that when a politician is asked, what did you have for breakfast this morning? Well, you know, my car is green. I mean, that answer, that’s not edited. That’s in real time. This is unedited. Play it again from the beginning, Christian. She just asked a question that, and good for her. I’m not a big Dana Bash fan, but good for her. Is he a gang member or not? Listen to the guy’s answer.
SPEAKER 02 :
Can you say with absolute certainty that he is not, nor has he ever been, a member of the MS-13 gang? And did you ask him point blank?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, Dana, what Donald Trump is trying to do here is change the subject. The subject at hand is that he and his administration are defying a court order to give Abrego Garcia his due process rights. They are trying to litigate on social media what they should be doing in the courts. They need to put up or shut up in the courts. Let me tell you, and I decided to write this down so I could be absolutely accurate as to what federal district court Judge Zinnis said about these allegations by the Trump administration. Quote, no evidence linking Abrego Garcia to MS-13 or any terrorist activity has been presented to the court. That’s where to litigate this. It’s been litigated in many other places. So I’m not going to get into the details because the whole purpose of our court system is for them to adjudicate these things, not for Donald Trump to go off on social media.
SPEAKER 11 :
Can you confirm or deny that he’s a gang member? And did you ask him? Well, what President Trump wants to do. And I don’t think the guy even recognizes what a fool he sounds like. These are not serious people. You know, I say this over and over again. These are not serious people. Now look, people of good faith can disagree. There’s a very popular podcaster named Joe Rogan. who absolutely is all in for due process for this gang member. I don’t know why Joe Rogan believes that we should give constitutional rights to somebody who snuck into the country. and doesn’t belong here, who’s a criminal, who’s a gang member, who is by definition a terrorist, who El Salvador’s president says, no, no, we’re going to keep this guy incarcerated. But here was Joe Rogan. I’m a big believer in people of good faith having good faith debate, not just name-calling and not just back and forth. Here’s Joe Rogan on his podcast.
SPEAKER 06 :
If you wanted to destroy society and make it worse, what would you do? You bring people in from a third world country. Don’t have them change anything. Financially incentivize them to be there. Give them free money while you’re not helping the poor people in America. They would give them debit cards, free housing, free food, putting them up in the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. Why, yo? If you want to destroy society, that’s how you would do it. That’s how you would do it. I mean, that sounds like it’s working. Like it’s going in that direction. So the problem with things that are going in a radical direction, then there’s an overcorrection. So the overcorrection is lack of due process. The overcorrection is like round them all up, ship them to jail. Like that’s like some things that you say when you’re not thinking things through. Like what do you do about all the criminals? Take them all? And send them to El Salvador. Yeah. What about due process? No, f*** that. But here’s the problem with that. What if you are an enemy of, let’s not say any current president. Let’s pretend we’ve got a new president, totally new guy in 2028. And this is a common practice now of just rounding up gang members with no due process and shipping them to El Salvador. You’re a gang member. No, I’m not. Prove it. What? I’ve got to go to court. No, no due process. That’s dangerous, Joe. That’s dangerous. That’s dangerous. That’s dangerous. We’ve got to be careful that we don’t become monsters while we’re fighting monsters.
SPEAKER 11 :
Now, here’s the problem with Joe Rogan’s argument. It’s a straw man argument. The hypothetical he puts up isn’t apples to apples. Joe Biden opened the floodgates and the Democrats had opened borders for years. We have millions of people, many of whom are committing horrible crimes against American citizens. So there’s no question it’s a challenge. But Joe Rogan hasn’t thought through how difficult it’s going to be to try to track down every illegal, including gang members, and provide them with trials and appeals and hearings in the United States court system after the Democrats and Biden inundated America with millions and millions of illegals. So, look, we always knew this was going to be a hassle. We always knew how hard it was going to be. And I don’t mind presenting both sides of an issue. Frankly, if it’s between Joe Rogan and Senator Chris Van Hollen or the Trump administration, I’m with the Trump administration. If it’s between Joe Rogan and Tom Holman, I’m with Tom Holman. Portions of our show brought to you by Fellowship Home Loans. And look, as President Trump has said, the golden age of America is upon us. I believe we are witnessing a revival. mike gallagher every day mike visits with mark davis morning host on 6 60 a.m the answer in dallas here’s today’s eminem experience rome and and venice venice is one of the world’s most remarkable cities and florence and all that they got them a fine prime minister in italy these days too you got that right let me see that little clip of her said they said electing a conservative would be terrible but we are safer our economy is doing great he’s a boy well you
SPEAKER 11 :
You know what I love about the conservative wave that’s happening all over the world? The world is getting better. And young people are more and more conservative than ever. In fact, in reading about the Pope earlier this morning, I was reading about the fact that young priests are more and more conservative than ever. Now, let that sink in. It’s like the world is healing. Young people are more and more conservative than ever. College campuses, young people under 18 are more conservative than ever. And that gives me a whole lot of hope. And maybe it’s with that spirit. Maybe it’s the Easter spirit of, you know, the miracle, the resurrection. I mentioned being in New York. Saturday morning, I’m strolling down Madison Avenue, and here comes a sea of people. Oh, my God. Yeah, boy.
SPEAKER 03 :
Mark, you sent me some video of that. That was not good.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, is it not good? Let me tell you why. Oh, no, their free speech rights are fine.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah. They don’t need to protest. Oh, sure.
SPEAKER 11 :
And I watched them. I was just riveted by it for some reason. Now, first of all, let me give you a couple of observations about the anti-Trump protests that took place all over the country. There were like 50 cities, right? 51, 50, 50, whatever the number was. I watched these people pretty closely. First of all, a striking absence of people of color, Mark. It’s the strangest thing because that’s a ton of people. Now, I’m not going to minimize this. I’m telling you, I’m standing at 47th and Madison Avenue looking up Madison Avenue as far as the eye could see. So if this was us, I kept thinking if the unthinkable happened and Kamala Harris got elected president, And thousands and thousands and thousands of us marched all over the country. We’d be like, wow, this is great. Isn’t this fantastic? So that’s how they feel. That’s okay. They didn’t burn any buildings. Nobody got hurt. The police were calm. Everybody was calm. But I was really interested in the demographic makeup of these protesters. Mark, they’re all boomers.
SPEAKER 03 :
They’re all white boomers. They’re white boomers. Well, you know why? It is the Bernie AOC win. Well, it’s about the oligarchy. We got the oligarchy. Yeah. Yeah. So that is it. It’s that kind of weird egghead college professorial liberalism that is dying on the vine. And they’re old hippies.
SPEAKER 11 :
They’re just old hippies from the 60s who think they got their moment again. They think they’re back at Woodstock. This is their Woodstock, and it just is so interesting. Now, but what do you attribute the almost zero presence of black or brown people?
SPEAKER 03 :
What is that about? Because the appeal of the Bernie slash AOC old college professorial, and I don’t want to push back against the hippie thing. Hippies were cooler than these people. These are old leftist urban cranks. which is a great band name. I think that they’re all about this haughty, condescending thing that a lot of people of color just don’t want any part of. A lot of blacks and Hispanics are looking at Trump, and I agree with everyone, they’re saying, you know what? The notion of more American jobs, the notion of borders, we’re kind of on board, more on board than some of these Upper West Side malcontents.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think you’re right. And then the final thing we’ve got to talk about, I want to get this off my chest. I watched Senator John Kennedy, who’s like the Will Rogers of the Senate and folksy and charming. He’s always got a one-liner. And there he is, bagging on Trump and bagging on this.
SPEAKER 03 :
Is this on Meet the Press with Chris?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yes, and he’s like, the president is deporting. At one point, this Chris Van Hollen slipped, and he actually tried, he almost called Abrego Garcia an American. It’s unthinkable that an American, I mean, somebody swept up an American. Because this is their mindset. Here’s what this all boils down to. This is real simple. And why John Kennedy is bagging on Trump.
SPEAKER 03 :
What was his specific point? Because he started out with the Kristen Welk. Due process.
SPEAKER 11 :
Due process. Now, here’s the problem, Mark. Let me ask you. You’re one of the smartest people I know. Let’s do. Does an illegal have the constitutional right of due process?
SPEAKER 03 :
Not the same that you and I have. However, and this is the thing where we’re in. This is kind of a Mike Gallagher moment. Maybe this ain’t going away. We can do it some more tomorrow because we’re getting our brains beaten in. And there are enough squishy voters where that sounds reasonable. Yeah. Should there be a moment at which an immigration judge takes even 30 seconds, looks at a piece of paper, goes, yeah, OK, he can go. And they did that with him in a couple of levels. And a lot of the reasons for I think it was like the tats and the bulls.
SPEAKER 11 :
But they did that with this guy. This guy’s a gang member, Mark.
SPEAKER 03 :
They stopped the guy. That’s my belief as well.
SPEAKER 11 :
I know it is. And the courts and the cops and everybody determined this. But the due process thing intrigues me. You tell me. You qualified it. I was very interested in how you responded to me. You show me in the Constitution where an illegal immigrant is entitled to due process.
SPEAKER 03 :
Where’s that in the Constitution? It’s more of a matter of legislation. It’s more of a matter of the procedures that exist that if we are going to deport people, there’s usually a turnstile that you walk through.
SPEAKER 11 :
But my benchmark, my North Star is the Constitution. No, exactly. It’s like it was with abortion. There’s no right to an abortion in the Constitution. There’s no right to due process. Oh, I get you. I get you.
SPEAKER 03 :
There’s no constitutional crisis, no constitutional offense. No, exactly. It seems to have been a skirting of existing procedure, which if they’ve got even a molecule of a point. I offered an idea. Let me offer it to you. Hey, President Bukele loves Trump. You want to do us a solid here? Let the dude out of the prison on the streets of El Salvador. That really bothers me. I heard you say that.
SPEAKER 11 :
I heard you say that.
SPEAKER 03 :
What’s the matter with that? We’re not bringing him back.
SPEAKER 11 :
It ain’t our problem. He’s an El Salvadoran. He’s a national. He’s their problem. And why would we tell the El Salvador? That’s like El Salvador telling President Trump what he should do with Carmelo Anthony.
SPEAKER 03 :
We’re not going to tell him. We’re going to suggest that maybe. Why? Because it would get everybody to shut up and we could get on with our lives. But we’ve got nothing to do with it anymore. There are enough stupid voters. There are enough stupid, low-information voters that day after day, week after week, of this guy being the most famous Salvadoran in history, not helpful. Well, but again, I’ve got midterms to think about.
SPEAKER 11 :
It seems very arrogant, I think, of us to tell the El Salvador president what he should or should not suggest. Well, forget what this suggests. Who the hell are you to tell the El Salvador president what he should or shouldn’t do with one of his own people?
SPEAKER 03 :
Because we’re getting our brains beaten in. That’s not his problem. That’s not his problem. It’s my problem. It’s my problem as somebody that doesn’t want to have more. You know it. There are a bunch of idiot voters out there looking at you. Well, this guy shouldn’t be in prison. Well, fine. Solve the problem. Get on so that we can get on. There’s too much oxygen being taken up. I mean, this is one of those areas where I know exactly what you mean. Yeah. I’m just fascinated by it. I’m just fascinated by your position on this. I’m trying to stop the problem because we’re getting our brains beaten in. What does that mean? I don’t know. I don’t think we are. I think you’re overstating that. No, because stipulate real quick. We’re incredibly late. Are there millions of stupid people in America? Yes. Yes. Are they seeing day after day after day after day after day after day of this incessant coverage of this guy shouldn’t be in prison? But they’re wrong. But they’re wrong. I know that and you know that.
SPEAKER 11 :
So you want to suggest respectfully to the El Salvadoran president to do something that we have nothing to do with because of the stupid people in America?
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes, because it will shut everybody up. It will shut everybody up. In fact, in retrospect, if we had just deported him, not to the prison, if we just sent him back to El Salvador and dumped him on the streets of San Salvador, would that have been okay? Yes, of course it would. All I’m suggesting is that we make it like as if we had done that. That’s all. All right. Well, we’ll have to agree to this. Happy Monday. It’s good to be back to work. More on Tuesday. More on Tuesday. I love you, man. I love you, too. See you. As always, Tor. God bless, man. That’s Mike Gallagher.
