Join Mike Gallagher as he embarks on a profound journey through the heart of Jerusalem. In this special episode, Mike explores the dynamic tensions surrounding the IDF strikes in Gaza amid recent ceasefire violations by Hamas. As the complex political landscape unfolds, he delves into the challenges of negotiating peace with an unyielding adversary and speaks with experts to understand the intricacies of these negotiations.
SPEAKER 03 :
This is a special edition of the Mike Gallagher Show as Mike returns to Israel on behalf of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. And now from Jerusalem, here’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
It is such a blessing to be able to travel to the Holy Land and spend time in Jerusalem. We’ll be here the rest of the week thanks to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. It’s a remarkable place to visit. It’s a little odd for all the times that we’ve been able to come over here. This is the first time that I can feel sort of a tension here. Of course, the IDF has launched strikes in Gaza following a series of ceasefire violations by Hamas. Marco Rubio has described the actions by Israel as completely self-defense. And, look, people are on edge here. There isn’t a question that people have a concern about what comes next. How do you negotiate this? with Hamas? How do you work with terrorists who are committed to the utter destruction of the people of Israel? So here’s the way Fox News Channel’s Trey Yinks reported on the order by Prime Minister Netanyahu to conduct powerful strikes on Gaza. This is cut number one. This is courtesy of Fox News.
SPEAKER 08 :
The Israeli military is carrying out a series of airstrikes inside Gaza after Hamas attacked Israeli soldiers near the city of Rafah. A military official telling Fox News that Hamas violated the ceasefire by shooting at troops beyond the yellow line in an area controlled by Israel. Following that incident, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a high-level security consultation before ordering immediate and powerful strikes inside the Gaza Strip. Earlier this month, two Israeli soldiers were killed in southern Gaza during the first major violation by Hamas of the ceasefire agreement. Hamas was set to release the body of an additional hostage tonight, one of 13 that remain inside the enclave. The group’s Al-Qassam Brigades released a statement last hour saying the transfer would not take place due to what they claim are Israeli violations to the agreement. Overnight, Hamas released the partial remains of an Israeli hostage whose body was already recovered after they promised to release new remains. This issue is a sticking point for phase one and could affect the implementation of the agreement.
SPEAKER 04 :
I got a panicked phone call from one of my sons last night, said, Dad, this was right before I went to bed, and getting adjusted to the six-hour time difference. It’s normally a seven-hour time difference, but Israel has a daylight savings time, too, and we have one week to go before we do our daylight savings switchover, spring forward, fall behind. So when we go back next week, then it will be back to seven hours. But in any event, if it’s 9 a.m. in Israel, America, it’s 3 in the afternoon in Israel. So I’m in bed when you’re up and everything else. But right before I went to bed last night, my son calls and says, Dad, you’re never going to get out of there. You do know with your luck you’re going to get stuck in Israel. And I said, Son, don’t even kid around about that. Don’t joke about that. That happened to Salem’s own Scott Jennings. If you’ll remember, when the war broke out, he was over here and he couldn’t get out. And Scott told us on air, and you probably remember his harrowing account of explaining how he had to practically get on a donkey and go to Jordan and get spirited out of Jordan because Ben Gurion Airport was closed due to the war that is sort of on again, off again. So anyway, I hope. I trust I’ll get out of here. I’m thrilled to be here today. Joey Hudson is with me, and we did some sightseeing a little bit. I wanted to go back to my favorite spot, which is the Garden of Gethsemane. I love that spot. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is… considered to be the most holy place in all of Christianity, the spot where it is believed that Jesus was crucified. We went to the Garden Tomb, which is believed by many to be the place where Jesus was laid in the tomb before the rock was pushed back along a beautiful garden. And we also went to the Mount of Olives. So I’m going to share a lot of that. We did some stand-ups in those different locations. And over the next several days, I’ll share some of the sights and sounds of our journey here to the Holy Land. But let’s go back to the United States for just a moment. The Senate yesterday failed to reopen the federal government for the 13th time. The shutdown has hit the four-week mark. It failed in a 54 to 45 vote. Snap benefits are about to run out. Now, I’ve got dear friends in South Carolina who care for a senior. She’s a beautiful woman who is a widow, a widow. She’s alone, and she relies entirely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits. It’s everything for her. And Look, I’ve got friends who I know won’t let her starve. They won’t let her go hungry. But there are people in America who are going to go hungry. And the Democrats have absolutely no desire to prevent that pain and that suffering. And they’re willing to admit it. I have to appreciate the transparency. I’ve got to acknowledge the honesty of what some of these Democrats are willing to say. I want to go back to Chris Coons, the senator from Delaware. You see him all the time. He always pops up on television. Back on October the 7th, This is cut number 11. Back on October the 7th, Senator Chris Coons was on CNN blaming the Republicans for the government shutdown.
SPEAKER 01 :
Between the Republican majority in the Senate, in the House, and the Republican in the White House, they control whether or not this government is open or closed, what threats they’re making, the ways they’re trying to impose as much pain as possible. This is a Republican shutdown.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay, that was October 7th. Fast forward, oh, just a few short weeks. October 27th, cut number 10. Here is the same Senator Chris Coons.
SPEAKER 01 :
Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House. Frankly, this is our only moment of leverage, and although a very unpleasant tool to use.
SPEAKER 04 :
Can you play that one more time? I want to make sure I’m hearing those words correctly. Again, this is on C-SPAN. This is Senator Chris Coons.
SPEAKER 01 :
Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House. Frankly, this is our only moment of leverage, and although a very unpleasant tool to use.
SPEAKER 04 :
An unpleasant tool to use. Remember the other Democrat we played for you last week? Used the same word, leverage. They think this gives them leverage. Leverage to do what? They think people starving because their SNAP benefits are going to expire because of this government shutdown is giving them leverage. Now, number one, let’s fully acknowledge the sheer monstrous kind of evil that you have to possess to in order to acknowledge this is your only hand to play, forcing the government to shut down, making people starve. And they’re willing to say this is our leverage. They’re absolutely comfortable acknowledging it. There’s a headline over at Axios that says the Democrats might be getting cold feet. John Thune, the Senate Majority Leader, claims he has been told that several Democrats in the Senate are desperate to end the game of chicken that Chuck Schumer is playing with the shutdown. And it is a game of chicken. The only problem is the people suffering from the game of chicken are poor people who are going to lose their SNAP benefits, are hardworking air traffic controllers, members of the military, people in the federal… It’s unbelievable that the Democrats are now owning this tactic. Can you help me understand what leverage you think this gives them? I got to turn to the smartest audience in the world. That’s you. And we’re in the Relief Factor studios on the road in Jerusalem in the Jewish News Syndicate studios, JNS. I hope you join me. 800-655-MIKE. You tell me what leverage the Democrats are attempting to achieve. 800-655-MIKE. I’m going to give a gold star to somebody who can give me an answer. Load my phone lines with your theory, with your suggestion, maybe with your knowledge as to what you think is the leverage the Democrats want to obtain by starving poor Americans. to death with this government shutdown. 800-655-MIKE, call or text. Join us here on the Mike Gallagher Show, a very special edition, live from Jerusalem. Your voice, your call, your perspective, coming up. SPEAKER 03 :
This is a special edition of the Mike Gallagher Show as Mike returns to Israel on behalf of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. And now from Jerusalem, here’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
I often call myself the vice president of the Happy to Be Here Club. How could I not be thrilled to be sitting in this beautiful state-of-the-art studio in Jerusalem? It’s called the Jewish News Syndicate, JNS.org. More on that organization in a bit. But once again, I get to return to the Holy Land. We totaled it up the other day. Eleven times I’ve been blessed to make a journey to the State of Israel. And there’s nothing like it. I mean, this visit this week is every bit as special and spiritual as it was the first time I was here many years ago when I was a local host. On WABC Radio, Phil Boyce and I came over here and we interviewed Israeli soldiers and we interviewed Benjamin Netanyahu many, many years ago. And here we are again. And we’re only here thanks to the blessings of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. This is an organization that you’re very familiar with because, well, I talk about them all the time. You see Yael Eckstein on television. You see the messages on this. You hear the messages on this show. You watch them on Salem News Channel. And we thought it would be really special to end our October campaign with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews with me being in Jerusalem. So here we are. Today, tomorrow, and Friday, we’re broadcasting live from the Holy Land. And we couldn’t do it without… This lady and your organization, Yael Eckstein, president and CEO of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Welcome to the JNS Studios in Jerusalem. You’ve been here, I think, before.
SPEAKER 05 :
I’ve been here before. But each time I see you, and especially here in Jerusalem, I am just, this is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
SPEAKER 04 :
Amen. Amen. And I, look, I’ve got a very selfish personality. reason to have you here. I want to end our October campaign with an epic close. Our audience, and you know over the years, our audience is extremely generous. I want to talk a little bit about the ceasefire and about what the IFCJ is doing right now, how the fellowship is responding to the needs of people here in Israel. But all this month, we’ve been inviting our audience to please, please donate to this beautiful ministry. And that’s what it is. It’s a ministry of Christians and Jews getting together to provide desperately needed, life-saving materials, food, comfort, clothing, shelter to so many people. You know, through the month of October, many of you have donated $25, $50, $100, $200. Since these are the final three days of the campaign, Yael, before we get into some of the issues going on here in this complicated part of the world, can you tell our audience who might consider making a donation today what their money will go towards? If one makes a donation today to the fellowship, what will you do with that donation?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, we look directly at the scriptures and we see what God tells us to do. He tells us to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to shelter the poor. So we have soup kitchens from northern Israel and Kiryat Shmona that was actually hit by a direct rocket attack. And within 24 hours, I was there and we found a new location. We’re providing thousands of meals to the elderly who live on the border there, all the way down to Sderot on the border with the Gaza Strip and Eilat in southern Israel and the border with Egypt. that wherever you look in Israel, it’s the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews are feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and sheltering the poor. And so whatever donation your listeners generously give, they’re seeding into God’s word. They’re seeding in with their hands, not just praying for the peace of Jerusalem, but acting for the peace of Jerusalem. And bringing hope to the hopeless in this holy land that we know this is where the story begins. This is where the story ends. We know that Christians believe that they’re grafted onto the rich olive tree of Israel, that through those donations of feeding the hungry, you’re part of this land.
SPEAKER 04 :
You know, I’ll see a TV commercial for the fellowship and you’re over, you’re in a kibbutz or you’re in an area where there’s an elderly woman. Yeah. And she’s crying and she’s got just just morsels. And then you walk in with these big boxes of supplies for her and she cries tears of joy. Look, those those messages just absolutely tell the story. And that’s what our audience, the Mike Gallagher show audience can can do. You can provide these these. Beautiful gifts. And they get food. Talk a little bit about how about armored ambulances? How about the things that are really in need here in Israel that our audience can make a difference by?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, Mike, what we’ve seen is that we have the ability to bless someone and give hope. And those videos that you’re referring to, none of them are staged. None of them. I’m on the ground bringing food, and sometimes we’ll have a camera to show people what they’re doing here in Israel. Right. And unfortunately, especially now after two years of war, after so many people have been in reserve duty and in the army, so many people have lost loved ones, lost their businesses. I’ve never seen a time where we had more people calling for food help from elderly to families to children. Yeah. And so we’re on the ground. As soon as we get a donation, we get to go out to a Holocaust survivor, go out to a widow from this war and say, there’s a Christian in America, there’s a Christian around the world who’s not only praying for you, but is providing for you. And those are the tears of joy, Mike, because… So many of these people, they didn’t know where their help would come from. I think of the words of Psalms, from where will my salvation come? My help comes from the maker of the heaven and the earth. And that’s what these people feel like. It’s God himself who’s providing for them because those are the tears of joy. They look at me and say, how did you find me? How did Christians find me? I thought I was forgotten. I thought I was going to die here alone. And suddenly they have that comfort.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I’m going to call on the audience right now to provide and to create those tears of joy for these many, many people who benefit from the beautiful work of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Please go right now to mikeonline.com. You can make any size donation. You can afford $25, $50, $100, whatever you can spare. You’re going to bless the people of Israel, and you’re going to stand with Israel. And, you know, Dennis Prager and I, bless him. You know, we have spent many trips together bringing people over here to the Holy Land. We called them the Stand with Israel Tour. I’m asking you to stand with Israel today with your donation. Go to MikeOnline.com. It’s easy to donate online. It just takes a couple of minutes. MikeOnline.com. Or you could phone in your gift to our special 800 number. It’s 800-613-5511. And if you appreciate our broadcasts from the Holy Land, because this week I’m going to take you with me to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. I’m going to take you to the Mount of Olives. I’m going to take you to the Garden Tomb. I’m going to take you to these very holy places. We’re not here without the support of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. The fellowship is why we’re here this week, and we are enormously grateful. Help us pay back our gratitude to the fellowship. Please go to mikeonline.com or call 800-613-5511. You can phone in your donation, 800-613-5511. or go to mikeonline.com and please give what you can to the fellowship. Now, Yael, let’s talk a little bit about yesterday. A father, a husband killed. Bibi has ordered, Netanyahu has ordered strikes upon Gaza. This peace deal, while we’re so joyful for President Trump’s efforts, we’re thankful for the world lifting up Israel. It’s a fragile peace process. This is a fragile peace agreement. Tell us a little bit about who was killed yesterday, how the fellowship is helping post-peace agreement, and what all comes next for the state of Israel.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, it was a 38-year-old father of five that was murdered yesterday, five young children who… now are orphaned because their father was protecting the borders of this land. And what we see is this is a war of those who sanctify life, Israel, Jews, Christians, against those who sanctify death, who worship death and seek death. And so it’s hard to see how peace will come. And the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is on the ground helping the families of the orphans, helping the families of the hostages, helping those to say, you’re not alone, we stand with you. And that’s what we could do today, Mike, is we have to believe that peace is possible because God tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. He tells us that there will be a day where the lion will dwell with the lamb. And whatever we can do to help bring that day closer, I believe God is counting on us to do that. I was in Jerusalem, in the old city walls, and I saw a wedding. And all of a sudden, the words of Ezekiel came back to me. Once again, there’ll be the sound of the bridegroom laughing and singing and celebrating in the walls of Jerusalem. And it was such a reminder, Mike, we have to bring biblical prophecy to fruition. God is calling us, which is why the fellowship brings the Jewish people home to Israel, even when there’s war, because they want to escape persecution and anti-Semitism. They want to come home to Israel, whatever price they’ll have to pay. That’s why we’re here to do all these things that God says we have to be doing because we can’t wait with our righteous anger for peace to come. We have to take tangible steps to bring blessings. And then I believe God works through us.
SPEAKER 04 :
I had lunch yesterday with a father of a young woman who was engaged. to a young man who was killed on October 7th. And they had their whole lives ahead of them. He got teary-eyed, of course, because it was heartbreaking. She moved in with them after October 7th, after the Hamas massacre, to heal. And there was a happy ending to the story. She has just recently met somebody new, and she is actually preparing to marry and has gone through this horrific thing. And as I told him why we were here and I told him about the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, he lit up and he said, Yael Eckstein, I mean, I forget, I always forget you’re a big superstar over here as you are in the United States, but you are so well known here in Israel. The fellowship is so beloved here in Israel. And he told me that. He said there are so many people in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and all throughout the state of Israel who are so grateful for the fellowship and what you do for so many people, for so many seniors, for so many poor people. And look. I truly believe the Bible commands us. Those who bless Israel, he will bless. Those who curse Israel, he will curse. And so this is a great opportunity for you to have a little religion on a Wednesday here on the Mike Gallagher Show and support this tremendous organization, MikeOnline.com. Please go to MikeOnline.com. yael on a personal note you you bless me with your friendship and your support our show is so honored to partner with the fellowship i hope you know what it means to each of us individually our whole team eric and tracy and christian and joey and alex and all of us are we just get so invested in trying to do some good for people over here and it’s working god is blessing the fellowship and god is blessing israel
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, the Mike Gallagher Show inspires so many people, and to be able to bring this vision of hope together is what I believe is the mission that we’re called to do. So thank you for including us. Thank you for including the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and making a difference to bring more light to this world.
SPEAKER 04 :
We appreciate your hospitality, as always. We’re so honored to be here, and we’ll be here for another few days. Thanks.
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m going to be following.
SPEAKER 04 :

SPEAKER 03 :
This is a special edition of The Mike Gallagher Show, as Mike returns to Israel on behalf of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. And now, from Jerusalem, here’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
What an incredible blessing it is to get to broadcast from the Holy Land. We’re in Jerusalem for our first day of a three-day broadcast. Thanks to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Coming up a little bit later this hour, we’re going to visit with a journalist here at JNS, the Jewish News Syndicate. This is a really, really splendid organization of journalists, writers, podcasters, journalists Technical people, of course, we’re in their beautiful state-of-the-art studios. Yuri’s pushing the buttons. Go ahead, Yuri, show the wide shot. Show this beautiful studio right here in beautiful Jerusalem at the beautiful desk. See with the JNS logo and the window behind us where we can just look in the back and see the old city of Jerusalem. It is just a special, special time. And there’s, of course, a lot of breaking news as President Trump is traversing the world, trying to bring peace to troubled parts of the world. The peace agreement here is very fragile. It’s very tenuous. Hamas killed an IDF soldier, violating the ceasefire. Bibi Netanyahu promising to rain hellfire down on Gaza once again. I continue to wonder how in the world do you negotiate with an entity like Hamas? How do you negotiate with terrorists? How do you possibly try to reason with people, work with people who are committed to your destruction? So here’s Richard Haass. This is over on MSNBC of all places. We don’t often play clips from that particular network, but I want you to hear cut number and see cut number two, Richard Haass explaining the next, this chapter that’s now unfolding here in Israel as Israel is saying, look, you violated the ceasefire Hamas. All bets are off.
SPEAKER 08 :
We’ve known that this was going to be not just a difficult endeavor, but maybe a near impossible endeavor.
SPEAKER 02 :
The definition is to define success ambitiously. Peace agreement between Israelis and Palestinians, near impossible. Long, long, long shot. That’s the stuff of decades. Right now, we want to keep from going backwards. More modest goal, but still ambitious in the Middle East. No matter what you try to do in the Middle East, it’s by definition ambitious. We want to keep the ceasefire from unraveling. We’d like to see things move forward. However, haltingly, this is one of the first tests, if not the first big test of the agreement.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, that’s the first test. Incidentally, he’s described as the president emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations. Here’s cut three. He goes on to say that Hamas just doesn’t want to play ball.
SPEAKER 02 :
It’s clear that Hamas is not in full compliance with the agreement. I don’t think they ever will be. For example, disarmament is a pipe dream. They’re not going to do it. The real question is whether Israeli responses are proportional to what happened, whether they’re constructive, whether they’ll get you where you want to go. I have questions about it. So to me, the really interesting thing, Chris, is what is the reaction of Donald Trump? He’s obviously in Asia. We’ve been talking about it. But does the United States… Lean on the Israelis to basically rein it in. We do not want to go back to what was there before the ceasefire. We don’t want to see the fighting resume, the humanitarian crisis get rekindled and so forth. So I actually think this is an interesting moment for the Trump administration. They made a big investment in Middle East diplomacy. They had some initial return. It’s now in jeopardy. Let’s see what they’re going to do.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m fascinated by the parallels between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu. Yesterday, I shared with you a lunch conversation I had with a man who lives here in Israel who feels about Netanyahu the way the Trump haters feel about Donald Trump. In fact, he almost sounded like he used some of the same familiar words. He used the same lingo, the language. Oh, the Bibi supporters are brainwashed. They won’t change their mind about him. And this man has skin in the game. He’s got loved ones who were killed on October 7th. I could tell he was shattered by the Hamas attack of October the 7th. He believes that Bibi Netanyahu is at fault. He said either he should have known it was coming, Or if he didn’t know, he’s incompetent. But he shouldn’t continue to be the prime minister. And it’s not just here in Israel. Now, by the way, compare that to lunch I had with a different Israeli today. Another person with lots of skin in the game. Loved ones, friends who he lost on October 7th. who shared with me his support for Benjamin Netanyahu. And he said to me, he agreed with me when I told him about the parallels between Trump derangement syndrome and BB derangement syndrome, if there is such a thing. And he said, look, there’s a lot of people here, particularly on the left, who don’t like Netanyahu. This is, as is often the case, a right-left paradigm. People on the right love Trump. People on the left hate Trump. People on the right support Benjamin Netanyahu. People on the left often do not. But it’s not just people on the left. And in the United States, prominent conservatives, libertarians, sharp-elbowed, People have bombast. Steve Bannon, somebody who I really appreciate, and I follow him and, you know, watch the war room and pay close attention to what he has to say. He’s a smart guy. And Steve Bannon has some very, very, very pointed beliefs about Benjamin Netanyahu and the current Israeli government. Here’s cut four. This is Steve yesterday on Real America’s Voice.
SPEAKER 07 :
You say Israeli derangement syndrome. It’s not Israeli derangement syndrome. I certainly don’t have it. What I have is the Greater Israel Project that was never done, no due diligence was done. The American people never signed off that. The Trump administration never signed off on that. That’s a Netanyahu. We need regime change in Jerusalem, and we need it tonight, okay? Everything that comes out of Netanyahu’s government is a stone-cold lie, okay?
SPEAKER 04 :
He believes that everything coming out of the Netanyahu government is a lie. He feels that Netanyahu has lied to President Trump. He feels the Israeli government has lied to America. He feels that Netanyahu’s got to go. That it’s inconceivable that Benjamin Netanyahu continues to remain the prime minister of Israel. So I want to get your… perspective on all of this. Tell me what you think of Netanyahu and the role that he has played. Tell me what you think about this fragile peace deal. I keep asking, how do you possibly negotiate with monsters? You know, I grew up remembering the Reagan doctrine. The Ronald Reagan doctrine is you can’t negotiate with terrorists. The United States position used to be we don’t negotiate with terrorists. I had somebody today tell me, somebody who lives and breathes Israeli culture, with Hamas, with the Palestinians, when you’ve got Iran and Jordan and you’ve got Turkey in the mix, you’ve got Turkey involved in this peace deal, and Turkey, not exactly fans of Israel. Israel doesn’t really have much of a choice. when it comes down to whether or not to negotiate with terrorists. So what should the Israeli government do? And I also want to touch on the big picture question of whether or not support for Israel has waned in America. Do you believe that support for Netanyahu, support for Israel, even support for the Jewish people has waned? has subsided to some degree. We’ve seen the rank anti-Semitism in the streets of America from the angry left. We’ve seen the college campuses and the academics, the academia people, the academics, the people who are supposed to be the smart kids in the room who just have a bitter hatred for the Jews. But do you think this war between Hamas and Israel has caused the American people to be less supportive? Look, all this month we’ve been trying to support the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. It’s why we’re here this week. They’ve sponsored our broadcast and they sponsor our show, and we do our best to raise money for this important organization. They are a ministry that is keeping people from starving to death here in Israel. And many, many Americans believe strongly in standing with Israel. Is that support waning? Are you starting to sort of second-guess? what Israel is doing with regards to this war with Hamas. It’s very complicated. It’s very difficult. There are no easy answers.
SPEAKER 03 :
Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
Every single day it’s a joy to remind you that portions of our show are sponsored by MyPillow. As you know, our friend Mike Lindell, big legal victory last week. He’s been in a ton of hot water, as you know, because he believes in election integrity. Of course, due to his friendship with President Trump. Well, last week there was a $5 million vote. judgment against Mike that was overturned by the courts. Good news for MyPillow. So you keep praying for MyPillow and you keep supporting this great American company. The premium MyPillow, limited time, great price, $18.98. If you go to MyPillow.com, this pillow is a godsend. Barry tore up the White House and spent $400 million in taxpayer money during a recession. And what did he have to show for it? New pipes and a basketball court. The contractors took Obama to the cleaners. Trump’s spending less, less, $300 million on a big, beautiful ballroom, and you’re not paying for it. No one’s allowed to play ball on Barry’s court, but you are allowed to dance the night away during Trump’s third inauguration.

Very special place. We’re in Jerusalem, and I’m so grateful. I appreciate the text messages I’ve been getting and the comments I’m getting from people who are watching and listening from all over the country who are glad we’re here. I got a call, a panic call from my son last night. Dad, have you heard about the ceasefire thing up in the air? Israel’s bombing Gaza now because Hamas killed an IDF soldier. You’re never going to get out of there. You’re never going to get home. I told Yael Eckstein, I can think of worse places to be stranded. Our colleague Scott Jennings from the Salem Radio Network was stranded here. He was here right when the war broke out and couldn’t get out. He had to get very creative in terms of using all kinds of mechanisms to get out of Israel. I think he wound up flying out of Jordan, if I’m not mistaken. Portions of our show sponsored in part by conservatives for lower health care costs. The president of the United States is doing what no other president has ever done before, hold Big Pharma accountable for ripping off the American people. Big Pharma and its army of lobbyists are working overtime to keep Americans paying the world’s highest prescription drug prices. They’ve already hiked prices on hundreds of medicines while flooding the airwaves with misleading ads. The agenda of Big Pharma is simple. Escape accountability, block free market competition, and keep prices high. That means bigger profits for them and higher costs for families and small businesses, too. While conservatives for lower health care costs warns their plan would saddle Americans and employers with billions in higher premiums and drug costs. President Trump will not back down. His administration is cracking down on companies that gouge patients and mislead the public, while conservatives in Congress are pushing reforms to open the market and lower costs. You can join the fight, too. I urge you to do just that. Visit pharmawindfall.com. And yes, you can play a role in helping to lower drug prices and hold big pharma accountable. pharmawindfall.com, pharmawindfall.com. I am so honored to get to spend a few days in the Holy Land, and I wanted to share with you some moments that earlier today, Joey Hudson and I visited the Garden of Gethsemane. It’s, to me, the most meaningful place on a personal level. I know that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is really considered Christianity’s holiest place. I know how important the garden tomb is. I know how magnificent the Mount of Olives. There are so many places to see here. One day, I hope I can bring another group of listeners back to the Holy Land with me. If you remember, during COVID 2020, Dennis Prager and I had 600 people all set to go and come with us to a Stand with Israel tour. Dennis and I got to do that on several occasions. We had to, of course, cancel the trip because of the pandemic, which broke our hearts. But we’re back again. We were here months after the October 7th terror attacks, and now we get to be here again. And I wanted to share with you what it looked like, what Gethsemane looks like today. because it is believed that the olive trees that are still at the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus suffered, where Jesus was tormented, where Jesus spent time, this is the place, and it is still there today. It is believed that some of those olive trees are descendants of the same olive trees that were blooming when Jesus was there. Here was our visit earlier today to the Garden of Gethsemane. I have been blessed to visit the Holy Land on a number of occasions. In fact, we were totaling it up the other day. This is my 11th journey to Israel over the years. And so of all the many blessings that I get to receive for being your host this is at the top of filled with these ancient olive trees, some of which are believed to be descendants of olive trees that were here when Jesus suffered the night before his crucifixion. There are places all throughout Jerusalem like this that are still open to the public. Interestingly, the tourist factor isn’t quite so big now. I’ve been here many times at the Garden of Gethsemane where it was pretty well packed with pilgrims, with tourists. with visitors from all over the world. This time, not so much. It’s kind of a quiet time as there’s uncertainty about the peace process and the agreement between Israel and Hamas is so fragile with Prime Minister Netanyahu threatening to have a massive military offensive into Gaza again as Hamas broke the ceasefire. So with all of the turmoil, with all of the tension, with all of the conflict, It’s pretty remarkable to be able to come to a place like the Garden of Gethsemane and soak in the peace and the comfort and the knowledge that our Savior, who put everything on the line for us, who died for our sins, this is where he spent the night before his crucifixion. Did you hear what was in the background? Could you make it out? I wonder if sharp-eared listeners… Or sharp-eared viewers to Salem News Channel could pick out what was going on in the background. Text me if you heard it. I’m curious. Because I asked Joey, do you think that could be picked up on air? And Joey said, yeah, I think it can. And it is a reminder that this is a holy place for people of all faiths. It’s not just… a holy place for Jews and for Christians. I wonder if you could hear what was in the background. Text me if you heard it. I’m curious. First person to correctly identify what was in the background when I filed that report, I’ll send you a free MyPillow. 800-655-6453 is the text line. I’m just curious. I want to know if you heard that or not. And today, tomorrow, and Friday are our final three days of our October campaign to help the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. We want to end with a real big finish. This is a beautiful ministry that rushes food and supplies and items to starving Israelis, to elderly Israelis, people in need. Your gift today will be doubled in impact thanks to a generous fellowship supporter. But again, the final three days, today, tomorrow, and Friday, you can show the people of Israel that you’re with them by supporting the fellowship. There’s a banner at my homepage, mikeonline.com. If you go to mikeonline.com, you can make a secure online donation to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. And I am so thankful for the way this audience constantly steps up for the continuous ways you bless those in need. So let’s support this ministry. And look, if you’re glad that we’re in Israel, we’re here through the generosity and the support of our International Fellowship of Christians and Jews partnership. So please go to mikeonline.com. Go to mikeonline.com to make your donation or call 800-613-5511. 800-613-5511. That’s 800-613-5511. I’m so grateful to you for your support of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Yes, David, in Dayton, Ohio, it was the Muslim call to prayer. That was on the speakers in the background when we were talking. A spiritual place for people of all walks of life.
