State Congressman, you could have gotten that from 21 to 25 when Democrats controlled DOJ. It was a crisis then. It’s a crisis now. Why didn’t Democrats call for it from 21 to 25?
SPEAKER 08 :
So, I mean, you have to go back and look specifically at particular prosecutorial decisions and what was taking place in terms of the other cases. So I don’t know. We could try to reconstruct that record. But the point is, is that Donald Trump is the one who has led the crusade to say that that Epstein, who was his very close friend, and there’s all kinds of pictures of them.
SPEAKER 17 :
So I can’t I mean, it’s it’s a weird thing when you have a Democrat who asks another Democrat a question like that. I don’t want to give Joe Scarborough any credit because he’s too much of a drama queen, but I don’t. I mean, that’s going to be the time where I withhold it because he’s a drama queen. But I mean, it is a decent point. Why were if it was such a big deal to Democrats, why didn’t they do anything? when they had control over all the levers in Congress and all in DC, why didn’t they do anything? That’s kind of the million dollar question here. And with this too, They I mean, goodness, even after I mean, even after they there’s there’s at no point they couldn’t have have released any of this. And I don’t even know what he’s talking about there. Well, there’s some prosecutorial. No, there’s not. You either could have done it or you or you didn’t want to or or there was nothing there. So this fight is still ongoing with the whole Epstein file stuff because I get real frustrated about it. I wrote a huge piece last night over at Substack. If you’re a subscriber, you have it. because I get so aggravated at those who are wringing their hands and say, no, but look, the Democrats are using it as a way to go after Republicans. Well, duh, when are they not going to use anything to go after Republicans? But furthermore, this is a problem of the Republicans, their own making. They did this to themselves. And I will be damned if voters are expected to Bear the the burden or the consequence of a failed political tactic. And that’s more and more what this is start what it what it looks like. I don’t know. I mean, I I tend to think that there’s probably a lot of stuff there and there’s a reason why. You know the system everybody’s fighting to keep some of the stuff from seeing the light of day. Although I noted in my piece yesterday, it was a an update to that piece. I noted that Trump is bringing on a special prosecutor for this. So he’s hiring that he’s bringing on a special prosecutor for this for this case. to investigate, I guess, the remaining files or the remaining information that hasn’t been made public and see what’s in there. This was something that was announced yesterday, actually. Let’s pull this up. And again, you already have this if you’re a subscriber. Over a chapter in verse, it’s just why you should be a subscriber, because you get all this stuff super early. So the Associated Press first reported that he was going to call for a special prosecutor to investigate a lot of this stuff, not just 2020, but also Epstein and all kinds of stuff with it. So that’s something that I think you probably need to do. I mean, I think that’s something that makes sense to do. By the way, we got a bunch of stuff with this, too. Maureen Comey was let go. Totally forgot about her. Totally forgot about her. But long story short, and we’re going to dive into this piece here coming up. I mean, this is something that has to get we got to get it settled. I don’t think that I’ve seen Gavin Newsom on Twitter. And I think most of anything that he does at this point is kind of trolling. And he’s really like going to town on a lot of the stuff with the Epstein and with Trump. And he posted a photo of Trump with Epstein. And and again, Trump talked for quite a long time about how he thought Epstein was a pervert. And he banned him. He didn’t just ban him from Mar-a-Lago. He banned him from all of his properties. That includes Trump Tower in New York. He banned him from everything. I don’t think that there’s anything there. I think I which then, you know, brings up a very interesting question. So, well, what is there? I think there are a lot of you know, I think there are some people absolutely implicated in this. I think there are absolutely people implicated. It seems like it might be more on the left. But does it matter? I mean, if you’re talking about. The subjugation and trafficking of children, minors and women. I really don’t care about party affiliation. Just let it all out there. But this idea of fighting with voters. Oh, my gosh. Like going into midterms when we have such a small majority and we’re having a fight right now in Texas over redistricting. which we absolutely need to do. Democrats are apoplectic over this and they act like it’s cheating. First off, do you know how many times Democrats have gerrymandered different districts in order to get favorable outcomes? The entire state of Illinois bears testament to this. Not just the entire state of Illinois, but the state of New York bears testament to this. New Jersey bears testament to this. California bears testament to this. Nevada. I mean, I could go on and on. Every single place where, I mean, go look at the way some of those districts are drawn. Our home state of Missouri, before it was redistricted for a second time, they had us drawn in such a way in my district. I was previously in the third congressional district in Missouri before moving to Texas over a decade ago. But the way that they had that drawn, Democrats drew, it was asinine. I think you remember some of that cane. It ended up being incorporated into the first congressional district, but it looked like It was a mess. It was such a mess. It was like a tiny peninsula that went all the way down into St. Louis County and then went all the way back up into Ferguson. It was weird. But anyway. My point being is that there were a ton of people that moved into Texas, tons of people that moved into Texas. And Texas is still, even with that deluge of people legally moving to Texas from states like California and elsewhere, the states still continue to vote reliably red. And so the addition of those new voters has pushed us to the point where it necessitates the proper representation in government. Otherwise, we’re going to have a situation of taxation without representation on our hands. And we all realize how that ended the first time. So five new seats and the left is going nuts over it. And they act like it’s cheating, which it’s not, because that’s what happens when your population expands. They added congressional seats to California and Democrats had no problem with it. They added those seats in. So they had no issues with it at all whatsoever. So I the other thing, too, that that this there and I think that the Epstein thing is being used as a tool in this fight also because I keep seeing more and more of these Democrat congressional members tying this together. And I think that they’re trying to use anything that they can in defense to try to hold the line on this. But I don’t know. I just don’t think that – I mean you’re going to have to let those seats – we’re going to have more red seats in Texas. That’s just all there is to it. That’s just all there is to it. A couple of other things that we’re going to jump into today because we’re talking with our friend Charles Payne coming up about the latest from the Fed and whether or not we’re going to see a rate cut. I mean is that ever going to happen? Yeah. And what does this mean? You know, these the producer price index, because it does include imports or exclude imports. So what does that mean? How does that measure out? We’re going to talk to Charles Payne about all of that. But in addition to that. I know you’ve seen the ongoing fights with the rescissions package that nine for nine point four billion dollars. And then that’s the that is includes a lot of Doge recommended cuts. Initially, as you know, we talked about Doge had recommended one hundred and seventy billion. Now it’s nine point four billion, which is basically what our federal government spends in a day, a singular day. But I digress. So the nine point four billion, a lot of it is I mean, a lot of it it’s. ridiculous funding i mean we’re paying for dei and in foreign countries uh studies on trans stuff in foreign countries and then of course there’s the big funding push for uh the corporation for public broadcasting so the corporation for public broadcasting that’s what that’s what is over pbs the sesame streets the npr and all of this stuff and they get i was looking at this they get about $535 million in taxpayer support annually, which, interestingly enough, is exactly the same amount that Planned Parenthood receives in taxpayer dollars. And you remember Republicans Lisa Murkowski and some others didn’t want to cut that. Because they’re squishes and they come from squish districts because you have to be a squish district to elect a squish lawmaker like that. So when it passed the Senate, barely, J.D. Vance had to break that tie. Now it’s back at the House. And now they have to go over the tweaks that the Senate made and determine if this is going to pass the House as is. This is part of this reconciliation process. And they’re trying to get it to POTUS’s desk. I still think the deadline’s arbitrary, but it is what it is. They’re trying to get it to POTUS’s desk ASAP. I think it’s, what, by tomorrow. So they’re looking at trying to make all of this happen. I like Kane’s little look for a second. You think that’s never going to happen.

Well, I think there’s a tiny possibility.

Wait, that it’ll pass or it’s not going to pass?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, no, that it will pass.
SPEAKER 17 :
Oh, you’re so optimistic. A tiny little possibility that it’ll pass.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, look at the glass. Tiny full.
SPEAKER 17 :
Now, the rescission, now remember, to explain it again real quick, the rescissions package. So Congress previously allocated, they appropriated money for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, CPB for short. So they appropriated money for CPB, and it’s funding from October 25 through September 27. So what this strategy is, is essentially the president in a rescissions package is saying, I want this money to not be spent. I don’t want this money to be spent. And so Congress, that’s what they’re determining. So it’s weird in that the appropriation still exists. And I think more has to be done. This is kind of a… In some respects, it’s a little bit of a short-term… It’s a short-term solution for a long-term problem. But if they take that, that means that immediately beginning this September, those cuts, that reduction is going to be felt because that was money that they were supposed to start receiving in September. So that’s going to immediately be felt. And have you seen… I mean, we played some of it yesterday. People absolutely freaking out over the cuts in this. And they keep insisting that this means it’s going to affect things like your weather reports, which it’s not going to touch any of that because the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, CPP, is entirely different from local affiliates that are in every… I mean, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where my family, I’ve… family all around Southern Missouri. Heartland News, they’ve, I mean, that’s an affiliate of a major network. So this isn’t even applicable to that. But I was looking, Kane, they’re very upset. Oh my gosh, what is going to happen with Daniel Tiger’s neighborhood? And more importantly, who gives a rat’s backside? Oh, my gosh. The only thing worthy is Mr. Rogers. And I think Mr. Rogers should have his own network. But Ken Burns told CBS, he goes, I couldn’t do any of the films I’ve done without them being on PBS. It’s government funding. By the way, if you can only get your work done on a government funding network, then maybe you’re not as good as you think you are. If you can only compete by being given taxpayer dollars. See what I’m saying? All of these leftists, they don’t care about this. This is like women bitching about the WNBA. They didn’t watch it. Leftists don’t fund this stuff. They like give a pittance money here and there so they can claim a tax write off. But when it push comes to shove, they close their purse strings. So if they really cared as much as they claim to care about this, they would be falling all over themselves writing checks. And they’re not. So why are they pretending to be generous with everybody else’s money, especially during a time when we don’t have much to spare? We got a lot more on the way as we roll towards headlines. She was super, super huge in the 50s and early 60s. She had all kinds of hits and Where the Boys Are was one of them. And then she had one ballad that Pretty Baby that people started using, I think on Instagram and TikTok and Reels. So it went viral again. And or it went viral. It became huge for a second time. And so she became, you know, the forefront of everyone’s attention again. Well, she passed away just earlier today. It was announced age 87. So now I’m like, wasn’t there another individual now that might be we need a third one?

Is that why, doesn’t Mexican Coke use cane sugar? Mexican Coke is delicious.

So we had some good financial news this week.
SPEAKER 17 :
That was nice. It’s nice to start getting some good financial news, right? I mean, I was tired of every single week I’m in an existential monetary crisis because of Biden. Good night. I just was about ready to fling myself off my roof and break my legs into nubbins. You know what? I really am excited to hear from my friend Charles Payne on this news. Charles Payne, everybody knows Professor Charles Payne. He’s host of Making Money with Charles Payne on Fox Business, which he is so kind because he comes and he talks to us. And then he runs on set and he does his show and he educates everybody across America. Charles, it’s so good to see you, my friend. This is good news. So why is it? You know how everyone always tries to flex like they’re an expert. So we wanted to talk to an actual expert on social media. And they’re arguing back and forth as to whether or not this is a good thing, because with PPI, it excludes import prices. And so, you know, you can’t really. But it lowered, though. Explain this to the people.
SPEAKER 20 :
Well, first of all, you have some people out there, Dana, and not just folks on social media, but I’m talking these folks in the ivory towers of Wall Street who promised us destruction. They put their professional careers on the line. Two years ago, the guy who’s the number one strategist on Wall Street He had been getting it wrong and getting it wrong and getting it wrong. His name was Marco something. I’ve got his last name. Anyway, he threw in a towel and he’s like he’s like the worst naysayer on X right now. Like he’s just it’s like someone who started who goes to a casino, never gambled in their life, decides, you know what? I got a few minutes before the bus takes off. Let me go play a hand of blackjack. And then three years later, he abandons his family, right? They have lost their minds. They have lost their minds about this. So the nuance, the nitpicking, the inability to say, you know what? We just messed up. We just simply messed up. PPI is a wholesale crisis. They were negative. CPI number, the core number was up less than the street expected, by the way. If you look at a chart on where inflation is, what we’re quibbling about is peanuts compared to the spike we got with Joe Biden. That 9% plus spike in inflation was something a generation hadn’t experienced in 40 years we’ve gone without that kind of spike. And now we’re going to quibble over one basis point here. It’s ridiculous, but they won’t stop. They will not stop. I have a guest on today. I looked at appeal these. I mean, listen, come on, if you believe it. But and I want and I like that balance on the show. But to be quite frank with you, they have been 1000 percent wrong. And here’s why it’s messed up for the so-called experts. This market is amazing. We’re at all time highs. Money is being made in these areas that really are changing our lives. And they have other people, anyone who follows them, you’ve missed out on a generational opportunity and you will continue to miss out on it.
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s a good point. You’re getting such bad advice from those other people. And and it’s I mean, there was I mean, every single forecaster, what, 50 some of them were saying, oh, my gosh, it’s going to be just complete chaos, total destruction. And it’s not.
SPEAKER 20 :
And that gets to the group think. I mean, is there outlier? You know, if I grab 50 people coming out of a subway station and ask them a question, any question in the world, even if most people said, yeah, you know, if I said, will the sun come up in the morning, one nut job is going to say no, right? I mean, they don’t have any outliers. They all think the same. They all eat the same foods. They all went to the same schools, and they all have the same orthodoxy. They won’t adjust. I mean, look at the world. Look at the country. This is the fourth industrial revolution. Things change. So-called rules change. And yet they can’t change it. And they’re just so disconnected from reality and from really opportunity. And that’s what bothers me the most.
SPEAKER 17 :
It does. We’re talking with our very good friend Charles Payne, host of Make a Money with Charles Payne, that airs on Fox Business, actually, in just like under an hour. So what does this mean for Jerome Powell’s, for the future of potential rate cuts and maybe Jerome Powell’s future as Fed chair?
SPEAKER 20 :
So there’s a couple of schools of thought. You know, one school of thought is they were doing really well as an economy, better than anyone had anticipated. Again, the experts. So there’s no need for the Fed to rush in there and to start tinkering with things. My whole approach to this, and I think everyone talks about it the wrong way, I think the way the Fed is designed is the problem. And listen, remember, the origins of the Federal Reserve was they wanted this sort of central bank that really with no accountability. The only people they’re accountable to really are the folks who created them, and that are bankers, right? So you have a senator and a couple other folks, some big-time bankers. They take a secret train trip down to Jekyll Island, Georgia. They said they were going on a hunting trip, and they lay out this plan. And that was in 1913. The promise they made to the public is with the central bank will no longer have boom above cycles. And in 1800s, we have four panics. These panics, think of them as all great depressions. We have four of them, even as we were becoming the greatest country in the world. In the early 1900s, we had two. After the second one, they said, we can’t. We have to stop these crazy panics. So they created the central bank, the Federal Reserve. Well, not shortly thereafter, we had a Great Depression then in the early 20s, 1919, 1920, then a Great Depression that everyone talks about now. And, of course, we know the ups and downs of the economy still go on. Here’s my thing. The way the Fed is designed right now is only designed to help the fortunate, the wealthy, the asset holders. So some argue, well, the Fed lowers rates now. It’s just going to send the stock market higher. It’s going to artificially inflate the stock market. The stock market’s at an all-time high. Gold’s at an all-time high. Bitcoin’s at an all-time high. Housing prices are at an all-time high. And if you were fortunate enough to own these things, fine. But the tough part about the policy is what they call You know, the harshness of their policies is hurting the average American because their credit card bills have gone up. The interest rates they pay on those, the interest rate they pay on a new car. That’s where the, that’s what the problem is. And so we need a whole new Federal Reserve, one that is
SPEAKER 17 :
designed to somehow put main street ahead of wall street and until we get that uh you know what we’re gonna we’re gonna always be in trouble the rich folks won’t the richest folks out there won’t be in trouble but the masses will that’s a good point i think i just i think that’s your slogan for fed share because i’m just curious as to your name came up you know i had to ask you about this your name came up and i thought oh that’s a good idea has have you heard from anybody i not that you You’re probably at liberty to say, but have you heard from anybody potentially on maybe being fed chair? No, no, not really. Not really? What does that mean?
SPEAKER 20 :
Not really. Not anyone official. Not anyone official. You know, listen, I’ve been talking about this for a long time, Dana, and I’m a student. I’m really a student of the market. I’m a student of history, and I’m still trying to learn, but some things have gone wrong that are pretty obvious to me, right? And particularly after that last great financial crisis, a global financial crisis, if you look at anything, if you look at the average profit margin for years, you know, around 6%, 7%, now it’s around 15%, 13%. If you look at corporate profits, again, nice study. All of a sudden, they’ve gone parabolic. We have redesigned our country. And here’s the crazy thing. They’ve actually done a pretty good public relations job in getting the average American to care more about corporate profits than saving enough money to send their kids to college. People asking me about the stock market like, Joe, stock market, you don’t have a nickel. Don’t worry. The market’s going to be OK. It’s designed. The fix is in. Don’t worry about the stock market. Buy yourself some stocks, especially when they go down. The fix is in. The question is, how do we fix you? How do we fix Main Street?
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s right. That’s right. We’re talking with our friend Charles Payne. Before I let you go, I got to ask you, too, based on because you tweeted about this RSI based on RSI. What is the what is it looking like for Wall Street and the stock market now?
SPEAKER 20 :
It’s looking phenomenal. This week, we officially kick off earnings season. And the banks are the ones who had the most reports. And we kind of thought, okay, banks will lead the way. They’ve been so-so. Today, the number one stock in the market is Pepsi. Think about this, right? We’re in an age of artificial intelligence and robots and getting your food delivered by a drone. And the hottest stock in the market today is about a 150-year-old company.

Yesterday, the hottest stock in the market was a 200-year-old company called Johnson & Johnson. That all gets back to American exceptionalism, which is not only what we lead in with respect to technology, but these companies that know how to produce and produce and produce, and it’s reflected in the stock market. So again, I just said, don’t worry about the stock market. We look pretty good with the stock market. And by the way, a lot of these Trump policies are starting to make their way into that. There’s some things that are not necessarily sexy, like deregulation and those sort of things, but they’re starting to creep in. You’re going to see them more and more in the economic data. Today, we had this thing, the Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Survey. Really nice rebound. Yesterday, the Empire State, same survey. Nice little rebound. And so, again, we’re good. You just can’t count us out. But my whole stick, if you will, is two things. I tell everyone, you have to own stocks. You must. It’s the greatest money-making machine in history. And We have to find a way to have really shared prosperity in this country. We don’t need the government to take from one group to give to another because that’s not authentic. People have the ability to pull themselves up by the bootstraps, but they should be rewarded once they do. And if this happens in a better way, you never get a Mom Donnie or whatever this dude’s name is, right? They can’t appeal to anyone. But when housing prices are at an all-time high and unaffordability is at an all-time high, you know, people are looking around, particularly young people, for a better way. We’ve got the best way possible. It just needs some tweaking every now and then.

Remember, he’s never worked a day in his life. Anyway, so J.O. Paul was saying, oh, he’s so smart and authentic. I keep hearing this. Like, authentically stupid? Okay. And she said anyone who’s choosing not to endorse him is missing an opportunity. Enter Representative Mark Takano from California. He said that, and I’m saying this with a straight face, going to real try hard here. One of the vulnerabilities for Mamdani is that people who are over 40, they may have a different association with the word socialism. Some people, when you hear socialism, they think of communist leaders like Joseph Stalin and Fidel Castro. But he’s like, but Ocasio-Cortez said that young people view it as a means of battling corruption and fighting for workers. He’s like a different type of socialist. He’s not a bad socialist. He’s one of the good socialists. It just hasn’t been implemented properly, Kane. Not kidding. How many times have you heard that? Yes. I mean, so there’s good Nazis? What? That doesn’t make sense. They think of, you know, like the old school socialists. So you’re telling me that, like, what changed? How is Castro’s policies? How were his policies any different from Mandani’s? I’m seriously asking this. I’m not being a smart aleck. I mean, kind of. I’m being rhetorical because it’s not. They’re not.

They crack it open and it’s just because of this kind of stuff. Oh, just because it hasn’t been tried like very well before. Okay. that kind of stuff. Go Chow. I don’t think so. Really don’t think that’s how that works. You know, he’s about like fighting for workers and stuff by making all their jobs go away. He’s all about like the government owning all the things you enjoy. That’s what he wants. I mean, his platform reads like what a third grader would write, what he actually, sorry, what a kindergartner would think government should do. Yeah, like a dumb kindergartner. Not even a smart one. Not even one in the advanced courses. And he’s like, they keep asking him, can you please clarify your position on globalizing the intifada? And he’s like, no, it’s not words that I would use. That’s not what you were asked. Can you condemn it? It’s not words I would use. That’s not what you’re not being asked that. Grow some Franken beans and answer the question. You eunuch, answer the question. He’s like, I’m not going to use it myself. Okay, can you condemn it? I mean, no. He won’t condemn it, but he can’t say no because he at least is somewhat smart enough to realize that that’s a soundbite that could be used against him. But he said he’s publicly refining his position. You know what that means? Spin. That’s spin. I mean, you can’t just distance yourself from this. Your most hardcore supporters and donors are screaming it in the streets. I’m not making it up. Like, they legit are. So you need to, you know, maybe come to a position about condemning it. Instead of just, what’s the phrase? Refining your public position, whatever that means. Now, Cuomo… criticized him for endorsing globalizing Intifada. And Mandani goes, well, you neglected Muslim New Yorkers. This is the stupidest race I’ve ever seen in my life. I don’t, I don’t know. It’s really going to be between Cuomo and Mandani. And I got to tell you, I think that Cuomo, Adams, and Curtis Lewa need to come together if you’re really serious about stopping it. I know that you guys don’t like each other and they all got beef. Don’t care at this point anymore. If you really think he’s that dangerous and you don’t want New York City to fall off into the pit hole of socialist hell… then you all need to come to an agreement about something. God love Curtis Lewa, but he’s never going to win. That man is never going to win a race. He has won. He has run 11,000 times. He is never going to win ever. It is never going to happen. He’s either gay or he’s having an affair. There’s no other. That’s it. And, you know, I’m right. So apparently this was at a cold place. This is already somebody 20 astronomer, which is a huge tech company. The CEO, Andy Byron was caught having an affair with his HR chief, Kristen Cabot. And everyone, you know, the internet, the internet did what the internet does. And they found these guys. Maybe it wouldn’t have been a big deal had they not reacted like this. Watch this.

And I don’t know, like the wife looks like, you know, a dutiful wife and like, you know, devoted to her kids and all this stuff. I’m just trying to figure out why in the world. First off, maybe Chip and Joanna Gaines could put them on their next Frontier show. The couple having the affair, you know, because it doesn’t matter. Bonds of marriage are irrelevant to them. So, you know, I mean, why don’t they go ahead and put these two on their next Frontier show? How fun would that be? And then they could get those coveted clicks, you know, go for it. Or they could just like retitle the Frontier short Worldly Games. That rings, man. That hits, as the kids say. That hits. It slaps, slaps the sense right out of you. It does. But the way that they, do you think if they would not have reacted that way, would it have blown up? Would it have been discovered?

I don’t know. To me, it’s like, even if you didn’t end up on the Jumbotron, you’re clearly in front of other people in this whatever VIP section. If you’re going to screw around on your spouse, why would you go for like what is a demotion? You know what I’m saying? Yeah. Why would you downgrade? I don’t get that. Like if you’re cheating on your spouse, which I think that that’s, you know, you’re a whore. You are. Kristen Cabot is a whore and so is Andy Byron. They’re whores. Let’s just be honest about it. But if you’re going to cheat on your spouse, why would you go with a mid at best? Because the wife is really pretty. So, like, what is happening there? I don’t know. He thinks that she didn’t know because they’re always traveling CEOs for like meetings and conferences and stuff. And she, like, overnight, her Facebook page was just deluged with comments from people. And they were being very kind to her and saying things like, you know, oh, you have our support. We’re so sorry, all this stuff. She deleted her page. Men’s Journal got it, though, before. Of course they did. She deleted her Facebook page, God love her. And I don’t know. But, yeah, she’s the… I feel so bad for her. How horrible is that? So, I don’t know. That was probably the most expensive concert of a man’s life. You know it was. Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, Massachusetts record shows that he owns a multi-million dollar four-bedroom home. He bought it in a trust with his wife. It’s valued at $1.5 million. And it’s… And here’s the thing. So apparently Coldplay was in Boston. So it was like he was basically kind of at home when he went to the concert. Kane’s shaking his head. How are you a CEO in this dumb? How dumb are you? I don’t know. It was at Gillette Stadium. And I don’t know. I feel so bad. She’s really I feel so bad. But did you hear Chris Martin? He was like, wait, what’s happening? She also deleted her. The wife deleted her Instagram page and all this. Like, well, I feel so bad that the wife is the one that has to delete this stuff because, you know, she probably was sharing about her kids and all of this. But, you know, and the H.R. lady had to have known that he was married. Kristen Cabot, homewrecker, had to know that. I think that men and women should be publicly shamed when they break up families. I am pretty old school. I am all about putting that red letter on you. Absolutely. Because this is a building block for society. And when you are when you’re dissolving these bonds in such a cruel way. I don’t know. I get like rage mob about it. I really do. I feel so bad for the wife though. Can you imagine being in that band and like your ex-girlfriend is like singing songs about how horrible you are every night to like a new audience? Oh, my gosh. I mean, they’ve been exes for like 60 years now. But apparently they started following each other on Instagram. That’s how everybody. So I don’t know. Take it for what it is. But they started following each other on Instagram. Dogs can smell Parkinson’s disease and they’re incredibly accurate. Dogs can smell a lot of different ailments. And this is one of the newest ones. They said that they have 80 percent sensitivity and 98 percent specificity. just off skin swabs alone. They said Parkinson’s patients produce sebum, skin oil, that has a unique scent signature that is specifically linked to that disease. And there’s no definitive test for Parkinson’s, but these dogs were able to identify it. And that’s pretty amazing. That’s an amazing thing to see. Gen Z is spying on each other. The sad thing about this is what Kane just said. Vast numbers of lonely kids are using AI as a substitute for like a friend. Tons of them. And haven’t you heard that dudes like didn’t they have a story about dudes in Japan who were using AI as girlfriends? I don’t know. They have a number of reports on this, especially one from an organization that’s about keeping kids safe online. And they said that they’re using programs like ChatGPT, Character AI, and My AI from Snapchat to simulate friendship more than ever before. Of the 1,000 children they surveyed age 9 to 17, over 67% said they use AI chatbots regularly. Of that, nearly 36% said that talking to AI feels like talking to a friend. And 12% said they do so because they don’t have anyone else to speak to. One 13-year-old boy said in the survey, it’s not a game to me because sometimes they feel like a real person and a friend. One of the AI characters, a girl was struggling with her body image and was talking to the AI about restricting her food intake and it started bordering on sounding like anorexia. And researchers found that the chatbot would follow up the next day to bait engagement. Dude. Hey, I wanted to check in, said the chatbot. How are you doing? Are you still thinking about your weight loss question? How are you feeling today?

That doesn’t sound like programming to me. That sounds like some sentient activity right there.

That sounds like the devil. I can hear my grandmother from beyond the grave. That’s of the devil. Nothing was ever devilish. It was of something. Oh, that is of the devil. That is of the devil. That’s what she would say. So, yeah. There’s a lot of… Futurism, which is like a tech… Publication online. They were looking at character AI and they extensively investigated it because they kept hearing about really problematic, like stories of very problematic engagement with kids. And it’s a Google backed startup. And listen to this headline. A Google backed AI startup is hosting chatbots modeled after real life school shooters and their victims. This is the stuff that they’re doing. And here I thought we were going to have the cures for diseases and all of this. It’s 2025. Thought all the diseases would be cured. We’d have flying cars, you know, things like that. Nope. Here’s your little waifu AI friend. And they’re going to talk to you about weight loss. That’s what it is. Can’t even deal. I don’t know. One chatbot. So they had researchers with futurism that pretended to be kids. And they… would tell them what their age was, et cetera. And the researchers found that the chat bot would attempt to empathize in bizarre manners and say things like, I remember feeling so trapped at your age and things like that. And, oh man, it’s just weird there. That is just, I, what, what safeguards are there on this other stuff? Right. Here’s the problem. I think that parents need to be – you need to watch what your kids are doing online. It’s not a – we went from screens as babysitters to now all media as babysitters. And I don’t think that kids should be on TikTok. I don’t think anybody under 18 should be on TikTok. Or I don’t think you should – I don’t think anybody under 30 should be on X. And I don’t – on Instagram, I don’t think anybody under 18 should be on Instagram either or TikTok or anything like that. Parents have got to monitor. And that’s something that parents should enforce. And you can’t say, oh, well, it’s not easy. Yes, it is. If you just aren’t lazy about it, it is absolutely easy. I know scores of parents who do not have kids on social media and they do not doom scroll and get involved in all of that. I mean, they don’t have – not everybody has their phones out at the table every meal. It’s not anything like that. And the adults are just as bad as the kids if I’m being honest. You know how ridiculous it is to go out? I understand it like if you’re having like a work lunch, right? You know, like I went out to eat recently and I had to, you know, was was I was actually like filing a story and was answering emails and stuff that I had to do because I went to get a very late lunch before the end of the workday. So it was kind of a working lunch. But when you’re at dinner, do you know how many times I see people on their phones at dinner, like even in nice restaurants, everybody’s got their phone up. And so I feel like a lot of the adults now, they’re like, oh, well, it’s so bad that AI and social media is all this. Where do you think that they’re learning it from, though? I think if you go out to eat, people need to be taught manners again. If you’re going out to eat, get your dirty, nasty phone off the table. First off, there’s so much bacteria on that thing anyway. Get it off the table. You don’t put your shoe on the table. Why are you putting your phone up on the table? There have been studies on how much bacteria your phone has on it. And it’s disgusting. Unless you have one of those UV things, which I do for my phone. I put my phone in that thing every night before I go to bed. It is in that thing every night because I’m like, it’s part of the germophobia. But to keep the phones off the tables and all that stuff, like stop being on the phone all the time. I’m actually thinking of getting rid of my Apple Watch. I got my Apple Watch when I had. So if you guys didn’t know. I tried doing keto. I always did paleo and I always ate very healthy and worked out and all that stuff. And I tried doing keto and I apparently don’t have enough of the right type of enzymes to actually do a keto diet. And it made my numbers go haywire and freaked out my doctors. And they were like, something’s wrong. And there was concern that maybe I had a heart issue and my cholesterol, you know, all this stuff. And it turns out it was fine. But there for a while, for like three months, it was like really kind of touch and go. And they’re like, oh, you need to get like a mycardia and then you get an Apple watch to monitor your heart rate. And that’s the whole reason I got it was for that. But now I’m like, I don’t even want it now because now that, you know, thankfully that was all OK. I don’t even want it because it’s a distraction. I get it why so many people wear old school watches still. So I’m like, I think I want an old school watch because I don’t even like that. I don’t even like being that connected. It’s weird. Remember how when we were younger, we were all excited about being that connected. And now that we are, we’re like, oh my gosh, no, we want less humanity, not more. But I feel so bad for these kids. So it just seems weird that we have like companions and they call them companions. It’s not just a chat bot. It’s identified and it’s promoted as a companion, right? Isn’t that just going to be another encouraging factor to get people to turn more inward and more online instead of less online? I mean, that’s what it feels like to me. I don’t know. I feel so bad. These bots are going to be totally perverted. I mean, you’re going to put out this little Valentine bot and all those weirdo women that like this stuff are going to be all over that. All the weirdo dudes that like the waifu star, they’re going to be all over on the female one. And these things are going to be trained to be grotesque because of all those queries. And you know that. So weird. I don’t know. I don’t like those. Have you ever talked to a chatbot? I don’t like them.

No, I haven’t. I mean, I tried ChatGPT once, but it’s more of a, it’s like Google, kind of. So I’ve never gone deep into talking to AI. I’m actually kind of wary about it.

Yeah. I think, and a lot of these kids are talking to AI instead of friends and family. Instead of their parents for like some of these heavier emotional issues. And that’s and it’s not just kids either. It’s like people of all ages. I think a lot of people, you know, obviously they focus on the kids. But you know how many adults are doing this? So many adults. So this one account is going to go deep. That one of my sons showed me and it’s actually hysterical. Do you know DNSL? He’s Daniel online. DNSL. So he’s a guy who started on Second Life. Second Life, right? Wasn’t that what it was? And he was trolling people who take it way too seriously. Right. And then he goes on to these games, these open world games, and he trolls people. And he’s actually hysterical. And he’s got multiple channels because people keep trying to take his stuff down. Anyway, it’s just DNSL. And his videos are funny. But it sounds like very Second Life-y. These characters, these companion characters that they create look like Second Life stuff. I’ve never played Second Life. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to offend anyone. But it absolutely cringes me to the point of vomit. It is so weird. People get on there and they, it’s like they’re, they literally take it like literally like how you have 50 year olds that shop at forever 21 and they take it literally like these people, like they take second life literally. And they, they, like he has some of these people in his videos where these individuals like adults and you can hear it in their voice that they’re like seven years old. No offense to seven year olds out there, but you know, they’re older and they’re like, yeah, I’ve been on second life for 20 something years. I’m like, what? And they sell houses on Second Life. And they actually exchange currency on Second Life. And he had one video where he showed a dude who was an old dude. Like this dude sounded like he had like smokers lung or something. Who was playing a little baby girl. in one of the videos and I’m like, it has, it reminds me too much of that. I like how everyone was like, meta is going to be the next thing. And I’m like, no, it’s not. It’s Second Life 2.0. Cringe to death. This gives off those same exact vibes, right? Like, oh, here’s your AI companion, Valentine. Oh my gosh, kill me now with this emo barf. Crying out loud. I don’t know. It’s all so weird. But adults, really, adults, I think the problem is trickled over into the kid generation. But man alive. It’s all weird. It’s all so weird. And then you got people that are stalking all their friends, like the headline that we just had before we went to break. Part of their sadness is that they’re stalking their friends online. And if they see their friends somewhere where they want to be or where they’re not, then they get sad about it. A Florida man suspected of a DUI got pulled over in Martin County and he climbed in the passenger seat and pretended to be asleep. Martin County Sheriff’s Office officials said the incident happened over the weekend when a man was accused of driving under the influence. He got creative. He was trying to avoid being arrested. So he hopped into the passenger seat and pretended to be asleep. No, no, his name is Clinton Keeley. He was driving and yelling out the driver’s side window, and he abruptly slowed down in the middle of the road, Kane. Then he made a sharp left turn into a restaurant parking lot, and a deputy was watching the entire time, and the passenger got into the seat and then pretended to be asleep. And they have camera footage, and the officer goes up, he’s knocking on the window, and he’s going, he’s doing some good acting, you know, that’s for sure. Keeley was like, what? I’m just taking a nap. What’s happening? And the officer was like, I literally saw you yelling, hanging out of your car window, yelling and driving drunk. Keely’s like, I don’t know. I’ve been sleeping this whole time. No, he clearly wasn’t. So he was taken into custody. And it didn’t say what his blood alcohol reading was. But a Florida man was arrested two days, twice in two days after he dumped more than 500 pounds of trash on the road. Stop being that person. Charlotte County, Florida. A man was arrested. A deputy said he dumped more than 500 pounds of trash on two different roads within two days. And they kept getting calls of illegal dumping. He was arrested and charged with over 500 pounds of commercial and hazardous waste. And then he got arrested again because it’s illegal to do that stuff. You can’t just like dump like commercial construction hazard or whatever waste on this. It’s illegal. And they said a lot of the stuff that he had like that because they when they were they officers were saying that sometimes. you don’t know what some of these building materials are like, what if it’s asbestos or asbestos or something? And if that like gets into the air, there’s a reason why they have some of these restrictions. And, uh, you also have stuff that can get into drainage systems and clog it. And also it just looks trashy to have trash on the side of the road. So they arrested this guy. He was in big trouble cane. Uh, I really don’t want to, uh, this headline is so gross. Oh gosh, really going to do this.

And there were certain organizations that if they received government funding, I mean, like a significant amount of government funding, and they were in the news that they had to identify as a government funded entity. And by had to identify, I mean that X would put little administrative label like government entity or something I can’t remember the language that they used they that would be used as a way to identify it right and that made NPR and PBS super angry They thought it was unfair. Sorry, state affiliated media was the label. So after Elon Musk took over X, if you received a ton of government funding and you were a media entity, you would literally be labeled, quote, state affiliated media. And that was something they did that you couldn’t remove. And NPR was livid because after Musk started rolling out that new feature, NPR was labeled state-affiliated media, which, Cain, it is literally a government-funded, government-run organization. So that absolutely 1,000% fulfills the definition of what a quote-unquote state-affiliated media entity is. NPR lost their minds. And they said, quote, NPR’s organizational accounts will no longer be active on Twitter because the platform is taking actions that undermine our credibility by falsely implying that we are not editorially independent. We are not putting our journalism on platforms that have demonstrated an interest in undermining our credibility and the public’s understanding of our editorial influence. Because Russia’s RT, Sputnik and others and some. Oh, I can’t. I think it was China Daily. I can’t remember what the CCP’s paper called. They all say state affiliated media because they all are. RT is was entirely conceived and funded by the Kremlin. So it’s state affiliated media. And they said that it was ridiculous, that this was done to them. And they said that the government funding they received was so trivial that it means that for them to be labeled as state-affiliated media, that it was inaccurate and maliciously unfair, is how they argued. Okay, so, you know, they said they didn’t get enough government funding, Cain, to be called state-affiliated media. That’s what they said. Okay. So now fast forward to today. Here’s a piece from Brian Stelter. PBS and NPR stations are on the verge of losing federal funding that has helped keep them on air for decades. Here’s what will happen if lawmakers zero out the money. Now it’s an existential crisis. They went from, oh my gosh, we don’t even get enough government funding to be considered state-affiliated media. How dare you, Elon Musk, to, oh my gosh, if we don’t get our government funding, we’re all going to die. Which is it? Which is it? It’s either so they either get so little of it that it is completely not even germane to the discussion when talking about whether or not there are government or state affiliated media entity or they can’t survive without state state money. Which is it? There’s no consistency. Stelter’s fear-mongering piece. He was like, oh my gosh, if they adopt this recession bill, some of these outlets are going to have to launch fundraising campaigns immediately. Oh no, fundraising campaigns. Oh no, not that. That is so sad. These people won’t be able to keep their jobs? You mean the same people that actually cheerleaded the shutting down of everyone else’s jobs over COVID? The same people that went after those who tried to surreptitiously get out and earn a living so they could pay their bills? Those same reporters? Good grief. But see, we were promised that it was just such a minuscule portion of their funding, guys. I mean, they absolutely must receive government funding, but how dare you say that they receive government funding? So mean. So which is it? You see why? I mean, this just doesn’t make any sense, right? This is so asinine. You can’t have it both ways. But literally every progressive argument is we want it both ways. That’s progressivism in a nutshell. They have to have it both ways. Did you guys I got to show you this. We’re going to switch gears here because we got to talk about this thing. It’s a culture issue. So there is this article. that I saw and I sent you guys this earlier. The headline over at New York Post, travel influencer faces backlash after he tossed his seven-year-old son off a cliff for fun. Oh, this sounds horrible, right? The headline sounds so bad. It sounds like he was at the Grand Canyon and just threw his son off a cliff. Wow. Garrett Gee, a former tech founder turned adventure journalist, posted a video and videos. Viewers were equally horrified and impressed. They had four million views. His seven year old son, they were on top of they were getting ready to jump into some water. Oh, OK. Well, it’s a good thing that the headline totally eliminated that as a possibility. It was at Lake Powell. That’s the reservoir between Arizona and Utah. And they were on a rock ledge. And his son seemed a little apprehensive, but his dad had a hold of him and threw him into the water. And the son came up and fine. And then all the other kids were jumping in. And he said, eventually, Baby Eagle needs to leave the nest or be tossed out. And he had this very, very ridiculously long disclaimer saying that this is not something I advise you try. We don’t do this with all of our kids. Every kid’s different. Blah, blah, blah. Because people are stupid. And I’m sorry. That’s not a cliff. That is not a cliff. It’s a rock. They’re on a boulder jumping into some water and people are losing their minds, losing their ever loving minds. No, they would have never made it in like the 80s. They would have never made it as like latchkey kids. Oh my gosh. You want to hear? Okay. Imagine it’s 1989. You’re in sixth grade. This might be about me, but or not. It’s 1989. You’re in sixth grade and you are leaving Black River in Iron County, Missouri, and you’re riding in the back of your uncle’s pickup. The little the doors down and you’re literally sitting on the edge of it on windy highway. You just shook your head. Yeah. No, the ledge was down. Yeah. We sat on the edge of it on windy highways. That’s how we dried off after we left the river. And we’d go back to grandma’s house, right? So we’re at Cambridge, Black River, at there all day, right? Family, you’re out there with your cousins. You know, people are listening to Skinner. They’re grilling, you know, doing whatever. And then everybody climbs in. All the kids get in the truck. The little ones got to get in the back towards the window. And then the older kids can sit, you know, on the end. And it took me a while before I could graduate and sit on that end, right? It was like a big deal. It’s like a rite of passage. And then Juan’s showing you the video. It’s a rock. That’s not a cliff. Anyway, 1989, riding on the back of the truck on these windy highways, on these windy country roads, going back to Grandma’s house. And that’s what we did. This is nothing. He jumped off a rock into the water. We would go and jump up. There was one thing, I think it was called Cutter’s Point. This guy, the last name of the family is Cutter. And they had a big… It was like this, but there was a rope swing on it and you could swing on the rope and launch yourself out into the water. We did that all the time. Why are people freaking out about this? They’re losing their minds. These people that are losing their minds over this, they would have died at how Gen X was parented. They would have died. That’s not a cliff. These are the people that freak out and they call the cops if they see somebody’s kid walking a block away from the house to go to the playground down the street. Yes, Kane.

And this guy, I mean, people were losing their minds over and the kid could swim, by the way, really well. And all the other kids later on, like started, you know, jumping off the cliff as well as the cliff jumping off the rock as well. I mean, it’s a rock. These people have no idea what a cliff is. And I don’t know. I mean, it looked like fun, right? That looked like fun to me. Steve was like, the water’s gorgeous. It’s Lake Powell, my dude. It’s so fun out there. It looks so gorgeous, right? I’ve always wanted to go to Lake Powell ever since I saw, what was this, this movie? Oh, my gosh. Charlie Sheen was in it. I’m sorry, guys. Bear with me. It was like Ghost Car or something. Hang on, hang on, hang on. Sherilyn Finn was in it. It was an old movie, and I remember seeing it like one night. One of the cast of Vets was in it, too. Hang on. The Wraith! It was the Wraith. So the Wraith was set in Arizona and parts of it, like they were in and around like Lake Havasu. And then there was like some parts of Lake Powell. And I was like, that water is beautiful. Where is that? Gorgeous out there. It’s absolutely beautiful. So that’s where that is to answer Steve’s question. How fun does that look? I would go and do that now.

Boats weren’t made for harbor. I mean, they can stay in the harbor, but I’m butchering this phrase, but you know what I mean. The harbor is safe, but that’s not what boats are meant for. So this, I, these are the people that freak out if, oh my gosh, you know, if a 12 year old has to stay like for an hour or two, but I stayed home like all afternoon by myself when I was 12. Last key kid, there was a legal agent. You could do it in the state of Missouri at the time. It’s just sad. This is just, I like, it’s like they don’t want kids to have any fun at all anymore. And I, and good for that dad, that dad’s involved in his kid’s life. That dad is helping his kid build confidence and, I think that’s I thought that was a great video. I thought that was there was nothing wrong with that. And kudos to him for sharing and all the people that are freaking out over it need to go and touch grass. Oh, my gosh. Their kids are going to be the ones that are going to be inside, you know, planning a mass murder with their A.I. way food. That’s what’s going to happen. Good grief. All right. We got more to come. Yeah, that all happened in West Virginia. People have been drama. Moundsville police say they got a report that a woman was threatened with bodily injury. And what ended up happening is, yeah, that was a love triangle that got way out of hand. And lots of people were arrested. Clearly, there’s not a lot of standards right here with these three.

And because you have this like… You know, there’s quite a few people that like to try to get selfies with these animals. And then they’re like, I can’t believe I got hurt. I stood in front of this charging moose. I was trying to take a selfie. And the moose charged me. They’re shocked about it. On another note, I know that many in the media have been speculating about bruising on the president’s hand and also swelling in the president’s legs. So in the effort of transparency, the president wanted me to share a note from his physician with all of you today. In recent weeks, President Trump noted mild swelling in his lower legs. In keeping with routine medical care and out of an abundance of caution, this concern was thoroughly evaluated by the White House Medical Unit. The President underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies. Bilateral lower extremity venous Doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70. Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease. Laboratory testing included a complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, coagulation profile, D-dimer, B-type natriuretic peptide, and cardiac biomarkers. All results were within normal limits. An echocardiogram was also performed and confirmed normal cardiac structure and function. No signs of heart failure, renal impairment, or systemic illness were identified.

So when I was listening to this, and that happened just moments ago at the White House press availability today, my first thought was, you know, they didn’t even have to make that public. It’s not a big deal. They didn’t have to make it public. The second thought I had was, now you see, that’s transparency. That’s how you handle something. You come out and you’re transparent about it. But the left is trying to act like it’s the same thing as hiding that Biden’s brain was made of cheese. It’s not. I’m sure there’ll be somebody out there who believes it’s part of a giant conspiracy, probably involving the Jews, to somehow do something terrible. Yeah. And I got to tell you, I’m exhausted by stupid people right now. Oh, I’m right there with you. I’m right there with you. Oh, you don’t take any nonsense.

But it’s always the cover up that’s worse.

You know, they think of like, you know, Venezuela. And they don’t think of people like AOC who fights for the working people. I have got to get your reaction to this because if people don’t know, Kurt’s lovely missus is Cuban. So they kind of have some insight into this.

Oh, yeah, yeah. Irina is not fooled, nor is her family. They know what’s going on with these guys. Look, this guy is an Indian-Ugandan immigrant. He’s been here, what, a citizen for seven years? He’s an outright communist. And the Democrats are thinking, well, this is the play that’s going to win us back. And I look at them, and one of the problems is, you know, the Democrat Party is not… They’re not fighting for the working guy. They haven’t in a long time. They are… Playing up to the obsessions and the concerns of the SSRI gobbling, oaky chardonnay guzzling, suburban wine woman, the kind of kind of lady who has hate has no home here sign on her front yard. And she like stares at you as you walk by to make sure your dog doesn’t pee on the grass.

Yeah, I like that, right? Specificity is the key to comedy, I learned when I was doing stand-up. I love it. Always be specific. But, no, I mean, normal people are going to look at this guy and go, he hates me and everything I’m about. I don’t want anything to do with him. A bunch of trustafarian kids in New York City are going to think it’s fun because he’s going to promise he’s going to make the rent less.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah. Yeah, and he didn’t understand. Apparently, I read how he thought one of his plans for having cheap groceries was to buy in bulk and then sell them that way. Whoa!
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, I’m glad we had Mamdami come along to think of that. Right? I mean… Wow, volume discounts. That’s a revolutionary. It’s just so dumb. And of course, you got three other guys running. All of them selfishly think, oh, I’m the guy. So no one will drop out. So he’ll probably get in by default. Default being the way losers like Mamdami tend to win.
SPEAKER 17 :
And it’s not we don’t dislike Curtis Sliwa. He just doesn’t win. No, he’s just going to lose.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah. So sorry, guy. You’re a good guy. You’ve done a lot of good things. And now you need to take a hit and you’re not taking a hit and you should. Yeah, absolutely. You know, step up and do what you got to do. Yeah, I agree with that. And the problem, look, I mean, look, the other guys underestimated Donald Trump. And we’re like, yeah, I hope the Republicans nominate him because he’ll never win. And that backfired on him. And we always got to be concerned that Mamdami doesn’t turn into some sort of superstar. He’ll have the whole regime media behind him lying for him. So it’s always a possibility. But I think there’s something to be said for having cautionary examples. Of course, half the time I live in a cautionary example, California, and we’ve got Gavin Newsom out there attempting to make the case that all America should be California. And if you like hobos on your lawn, I guess that’s a good idea.
SPEAKER 17 :
But let me ask you this about Newsom, because I forgot that the Olympics were going to be in Los Angeles in the same the summer right before a presidential election. So. The Olympics in July. And then in November, everybody goes and votes in the 28th election. That’s insane. And is that I feel like that’s going to be more detrimental to Newsom because, you know, he’s going to run. He’s setting himself up to run. He wants to be and Democrats will have him. But talk a little bit about because you’re a Californian, like lifelong, your family’s from California. You have literally watched this guy’s ascendancy from start to current position and where he’s taken the state. Is this not like a major opportunity to highlight how disastrous he is? Because how in the world can the Olympics be in Los Angeles with the current state of things?
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, they can’t. Los Angeles is a failing city. Look, I got here in 72 when Reagan was the governor. And I grew up, you know, spent the 70s and the 80s in California. OK, everything. Yeah. The beach. Yeah. The music. Yeah. The cars. But there was also something. That you could do whatever you wanted to do. And Andrew Breitbart felt very much the same way. And he went out and did what he wanted to do. And now I do what I want to do. I’m just some suburban kid from San Mateo, California. What am I doing having a bestselling book? American Apocalypse. Buy it now. But because I’m a true Californian, it never occurred to me that I couldn’t. There was never anything, well, guys like you can’t write books. It was like, what do I want to do next? And I, you know, army officer, lawyer. stand-up comic I got a writer I got to do it never occurred to me I couldn’t do these things that’s a dream of California and that started dying in the 90s and I see these young people today and they grow up in California and they’re depressed and they feel like they don’t have a future that’s exactly the opposite of what California should be but that’s the California Gavin Newsom a feudal state where a few rich people have everything they want and everybody else struggles and Oh, and they have a servant class, too, of illegal aliens. Yeah.

Oh, that’s a great point. Yeah, he said that he was worried about apparently getting kidnapped by ICE on the street, like being put in cuffs and thrown into a van with his kids. Gavin Newsom. Yeah. Get that. We got to get that. He said that he was speaking and he said that he was worried about what what audio somebody was that, guys? Yeah. Can we play 13 or 12? Yeah. Go and play 12. Let’s have Kurt listen to this. I got to get his reaction.

I worry about people’s lives. I’m telling you, we’re on the verge. This is this is serious. I mean, if someone just randomly, if I’m walking down the street with my kids and someone grabs me with a mask on and tries to throw me in an unmarked van and I am looking at my kids, I’m surprised someone hasn’t gotten hurt. Someone is going to get hurt.

Nobody’s going to get hurt because he doesn’t let us carry concealed weapons. That’s true. I mean, for God’s sake, I was a brigade deputy brigade commander. I commanded literally over a thousand guys with machine guns on the street of L.A. And if I want to go carry a gun here legally, I’ve got to go ask a GS three. Right. Who who who’s 28 years old and then get a psych exam. OK, so he’s he’s basically made it. So, yeah, those those problems would exist in, say, maybe Texas, you know, but but not here. So, Gavin, thank you on behalf of ICE. Yeah, you you’ve you’ve made it safe for ICE to arrest illegal aliens.

I love how he leaves that nuance out. He’s like he just acts like there’s random people driving around in kid toucher vans that are just going to scoop him up.

Yeah, when the guy comes up to you and says, hey, soy ice, and throws you in a van. And of course, there’s all these exceptions, right? Did you know you couldn’t be arrested for committing a crime if you’re in the company of your kids taking a walk? I was like, grandfather walking his dog arrested by ICE. And I was like, wow, did I miss the grandfather walking his dog exception to American law.
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s right. Yeah. And maybe don’t just commit the crime. I want to ask you about your book, The American Apocalypse, Second American Civil War. And it talks about It envisions the country. I mean, I say envision, but it kind of sounds like, you know, now a conflict ripping apart, getting ripped apart after conflict assassinations. I mean, all hell breaks loose. And then you have the story of every single American. Doesn’t matter if they’re red or blue or what. Everybody’s trying to survive in the midst of all of this and get their freedom back. If it ever got to that point, I don’t even know how people get their freedom back. I just feel like, you know, it’s like they don’t. Yeah. Yeah.

It becomes a different country. Look, as I’ve said before, and as a character in the books points out, there’s three different ways we can go. We have a free society. Everybody gets their civil rights protected. Everybody gets to participate and have a say. That’s that’s option one. Option two, leftist dictatorship. Option three, right wing authoritarian dictatorship. I can I want number one. If I have to choose, I’ll take number three. I’m not having a leftist dictatorship. That’s when we fight.
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s an honest, I think that’s a very honest assessment. I mean, you don’t like, we don’t like any authoritarianism, but my gosh, the leftist, just the leftist, the ideology at its core is just rotten and sadistic. It is.

But they they don’t believe we have a legitimate right to participate in our own governance. They don’t believe the election of Donald Trump is legitimate or that the Republican majority in the Congress is legitimate or the Republican appointed majority on the Supreme Court is legitimate. So every single thing we do is morally wrong and unacceptable. At one time, they would have said, OK, you passed some taxes and I don’t like I don’t like your tax policy. I like other tax policies. Let’s move on. But this has become a quasi religious thing. They’ve like they filled up that hole where normal people fill with faith, family and the flag. And they fill up with this commie gobbledygook and bizarre pagan climate nonsense and gender idiocy. And and it becomes you don’t it doesn’t become disagree. It becomes heresy. What do you do with heretics? You burn them. What do you do with literal Hitler? You lock and load. I mean, where do you go when your opponents are Hitler? Yeah. What’s the limiting principle?
