HR2 250th Anniv. Paul Revere’s Ride. Deportation: The Real Victims. Trump in Contempt? 4-16-25 by John Rush
SPEAKER 18 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 19 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 18 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 19 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did. Get a job first.
SPEAKER 09 :
You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 16 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 08 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 05 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 17 :
And we are back. Hour 2, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Richard Battle joining us now. Richard, how are you today?
SPEAKER 06 :
Good afternoon, John. We’re doing great. Thanks for having us back with you.
SPEAKER 17 :
250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride and the shot heard around the world.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, this week starts the 250th anniversary celebrations, which will last probably for about the next five or six years through the War for Independence and the peace process. And it’s a great week for us to remember and make sure people know what our forefathers did for us.
SPEAKER 17 :
OK, I know this isn’t in my notes, but you see the man on the street interviews and so on. You know, your your thoughts on percentage wise, how many, quote unquote, people on the street really know any of this?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, if they’re less than 30 years old, I would say 10%. If they’re over 40, I would hope at least half at least had a brief recollection of it from their teaching. And I think that people who were educated before the Department of Education was instituted will have a much higher recollection of it.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, I mean, you were taught this. I was taught this. A lot used to be taught in elementary school, junior high, even some high school courses, Richard, depending upon what they were studying. These were things that we had to learn. We had no choice.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, we did, and we had to memorize the poems, and that’s part of the reason we’re writing the Americans Who Made America series, because we’re hoping to provide resources for people who can learn and teach these things where it’s not taught in schools, and hopefully the schools will reinstitute it.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, and I think it’s extremely important. Well, you know my feelings. I think this is extremely important to teach and keep teaching, because if we ever forget our foundation, it’s done. It’s over.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, exactly, and America is an exceptional country, not that we’re better than anyone else, but just that we were uniquely founded. We’re the longest-lasting republic or democracy in history. There’s so much unique about us, and we need to retain that uniqueness and our sovereignty and not let ourselves be drug into a global government-type situation where we’re no different than any other country.
SPEAKER 17 :
And for everybody’s recollection, yes, Richard, we, like you, I would say, I wouldn’t say that we’re any better than anyone else, although we have been better at responding to the needs of the entire world. And I know there’s debates on, you know, some of the wars we were involved in and so on, but let’s just look at, you know, World War II, even World War I for that matter. and specifically look at the things that we did to help other countries out when it’s all said and done. You know, the beaches of Normandy and other stories along those lines, Richard. You know, we lost men from our country that, frankly, you know, didn’t have to be there. We could have just defended our own shorelines, our own, you know, borders and so on. The reality is we didn’t have to go overseas, but we chose to.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, and we have a moral background and our individual liberty from an economic and political standpoint. Those things are unique, and that’s what makes us the most generous country in history as far as giving aid to other countries, sending people to fight for other countries’ freedom. That doesn’t make us necessarily better people, but those actions are definitely superior versus what other countries do in a lot of instances.
SPEAKER 17 :
No, you are absolutely correct. All right, the poem, Paul Revere’s Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, published in 1861. Do you want to read it?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, just part of it, because we used to have to memorize it. Listen, my children, and you shall hear of the midnight ride of Paul Revere. On April 18th in 75, hardly a man is now alive. Who remembers that famous day and year? And I think that Longfellow wrote that, and he was trying to help people remember and continue to honor that situation when he wrote it, and we need to continue that today.
SPEAKER 17 :
Okay, Revere was not the only writer. Explain.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, William Dawes and a guy named Prescott wrote, and there’s some people that believe a lady wrote as well. Revere was the most famous because he was the number one messenger during the buildup to the war for independence. And he used his business as a silversmith and his commerce to get intelligence to pass along to the patriots. and then he used his messenger efforts before this date as well, and that’s why he was thought of first, because he was the most well-known messenger.
SPEAKER 17 :
Now, did he really say the British are coming, or did he say something else?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, that’s what’s interesting, because we learned the British are coming, the British are coming, but on that date, they were all British, and so the cry that they let out that night were, the regulars are out, and that meant the British Army was on the march, and because they were different than the citizens who were all British at that time.
SPEAKER 17 :
Good point. All right, what else about that time is relevant to today?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, and one more thing about that, and that’s another thing that was from the Old North Church, which is still there and just celebrated its 300th anniversary. They hung lanterns to let the people know what the message was. And so it was one if by land, two if by sea, three if on the opposite shore shall be. And so they hung the lanterns to let them know which way that the army was coming. And then Dr. Joseph Warren, who was a great patriot, didn’t have to fight because he was a physician, but he got killed at Bunker Hill before independence was established as well. So there were so many people that sacrificed before independence was even declared.
SPEAKER 17 :
No, and we talk about that on a fairly routine basis. You know, we talked about that last week, even the sacrifice that our founding fathers and others, and when I say, Richard, and I think you’re the same, when I say founding fathers, it’s not just necessarily those individuals that signed the Declaration. Like today, there were a lot of other people in support of what was going on that still gave a lot, and frankly, Richard, their name may not be known today, but they were still involved.
SPEAKER 06 :
Absolutely. It took everyone then. Men, women, and children, whether they carried a gun or not, people contributed in many different ways, financially, gave food, made clothing, all kinds of different things. It took everyone then to win independence, and I believe it takes us all now doing the things we do every day and positively contributing to the country to maintain our independence.
SPEAKER 17 :
Do we know who fired the shot heard around the world?
SPEAKER 06 :
No, and that’s what happened the next morning because the British were out to arrest Samuel Adams and John Hancock. And when they showed up, and I know we’re tight on time, but I just can’t imagine the feelings that those militiamen in Lexington felt when they’re standing in the dark, and this is the bartender and the farmer and the shoe cobbler and the pastor, and they’re standing there, 77 of them. They start hearing the hoof prints of the horses and the feet of the men marching and the drums and the fife, and out of the darkness, 700 British soldiers show up. You have to imagine the anxiety. And no one knows who fired that first shot, but eight Patriots died at Lexington, and one British were injured before they moved on to Concord. Fortunately, Adams and Hancock escaped because of the warning, and the British suffered over 300 killed there. by the time they marched back to Boston that night.
SPEAKER 17 :
Wow, wow. And that was, again, the shot heard around the world that literally fired everything off.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, and Captain John Parker, we’ve talked about him before, he had tuberculosis. Here he is sick, and he dies five months later, and he tells them, stand your ground, don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin now. And that was the transition from talking about independence to actually fighting for it. And so that courage and the ability to keep those 77 guys together so that they could make a difference when their destiny stood there and looked at them.
SPEAKER 17 :
Do we know the names of those that lost their lives that night?
SPEAKER 06 :
They’re known. I don’t have them in my notes today, but they are definitely known.
SPEAKER 17 :
Because you don’t hear about them much is my point, Richard.
SPEAKER 06 :
No.
SPEAKER 17 :
As I was saying earlier, a lot of folks gave it all. They did, but yet we don’t talk about them much.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, we don’t. We’ve had that during our entire history. So many people anonymously have sacrificed in fighting and in other ways for the country that we don’t know by name. But God above does, and he recognizes that sacrifice. we have the opportunity, if we go to Lexington, to stand on that green and see the monuments for those people.
SPEAKER 17 :
All right, Richard. RichardBattle.com is the website. What can folks get there, especially as you round the corner into graduation?

SPEAKER 17 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560, Sunday Cutcher should be joining us here at 4.30. Okay, I haven’t talked much about this because… Because we’ve had a lot of other things to talk about. Not that this isn’t important because, yes, it is important. And that is the situation down in Texas. And I’ve read through all of the different things. And, you know, there’s those out there that claim there’s a whole other side to the story. This is on Carmelo Anthony. He is the young man that is being accused of murdering the other young man on the track. You know, in the, what am I trying to say, Charlie? The track, what can I think of the right name? The Field, where they were all watching the track meet and so on. It was a track meet, that’s what I’m trying to say. He was 17. Carmelo Anthony was charged. He’s now, though, out on bond because they lessened the bond down considerably. And this is one of those situations where, unfortunately, and I wasn’t there, folks. I don’t know exactly what happened. I don’t know if there were names called, if something was said. I don’t know. Here’s the bottom line. It doesn’t matter what was said. It doesn’t matter what was said. You don’t kill someone over it, period, period, period, period. Maybe the other kid was wrong and said something that they shouldn’t have. Again, I wasn’t there. I don’t know. And I’m not accusing because I don’t know. I’m just simply saying that even if, and I don’t know if it did happen, but even if it did, it doesn’t give you an excuse to kill someone. Just like in a road rage situation, somebody cuts you off, and we’ve seen these things happen here of late in this front range area where then somebody gets out a gun and shoots the other person and tries to shoot them. I mean, that’s just utter nonsense. You don’t do those things. That’s barbaric behavior. We’re raised better than that, or we should be. That’s wrongful behavior, period, no matter what somebody does. Doesn’t matter. Now, if somebody’s trying to kill you with a knife or a gun and you decide to shoot back or use your knife and knife them and so on, that’s a whole different scenario. I’m not talking about that. I’m saying that if there’s an altercation and words are said and things along those lines, never, ever, ever gives the other party the right to kill that person over it. I don’t care what they said. I don’t care. It’s just not right. So in this particular case, And you’ve seen this, and we’ve talked about this, I think, in the past. They did a GoFundMe, not for Austin Metcalf’s family. That was the kid that was killed. But no, there’s been a GoFundMe put together for the killer, Carmelo Anthony. Just as a side note, by the way. This kid’s pretty young. The other Carmelo Anthony that used to be a Denver Nugget is really old. I’m just being straight up honest. Why do you name your kid that? I’m being very serious here. Why would you name, you know, if your last name was Hope, why would you name your kid Bob or Robert? Like Bob Hope, for example. or if your last name was Parton, why would you name your young girl Dolly? I mean, you get where I’m going with this. When people are famous, why would you name your kid after that person? I get it, Charlie. It’s with a K, but you don’t know that when you’re listening. Yes, it’s a K, Carmelo Anthony, and our Carmelo Anthony that was here in Denver was a C, not a K. But point being, you’d have to ask for the spelling when he’s just giving his name. It’s Carmelo Anthony. I mean, I’m sorry, folks. That’s just stupid all by itself. Sorry. I don’t mean to belittle anybody in that world or in that way, but why? Why, why, why do you do that? At any rate. Carmelo Anthony, they have raised about $415,000 in their GoFundMe, and that was to pay for the defense and the original $1 million bond, which has now been reduced to $250,000, meaning that you put up 10% of that $250,000 to get bonded out, and then you have to show up. You never get your $25,000 back. That’s another misconception. People think, well, I get that money back, don’t I? No, you don’t. No, that 10% that you put down, you’re never getting back. That’s how bondsmen make money. And they’re taking some risk in this, and we’ve seen Dog the Bounty Hunter and all of that. Most of you have watched some of those shows. But anyways, long story short, they have since taken some of that money that was donated for the legal defense fund, and they have bought a house with that. claiming that because there’s all sorts of threats against them in their current location, they had to go buy a new house to, quote-unquote, be safe. I call BS on that, by the way. I call total BS. No, you didn’t. You just wanted a new house. And you got $400 and some thousand dollars in. You spent $25,000 of that for the bond. You might have some legal defense that you’re going to spend some money on. Probably won’t because most of that will probably be done pro bono because of the high-profile case that this has now become. And bottom line is you’re just milking the donors for all their money that they gave the GoFundMe account. Again, it’s my opinion, and I’m a talk show host. I can give you my opinion. I don’t know these people. I don’t know exactly their hearts and so on, but man alive, it sure appears that way. It sure appears that way. If I had been them or anybody advising them, another family member or what have you, I would have said, yeah, don’t do that. Don’t do that. If you want to go buy a house and this is all said and done, and everything has, you know, maybe his name will be cleared, maybe it won’t, you know, whatever you’d like to do at that point in time, you know, go for it. But no, don’t do that right now. That’s just really stupid. It looks really bad in doing that. And frankly, it looks really bad. And like I said earlier, there is no excuse for one boy to kill another boy no matter what. Now, I say boy because they are, they’re 17. But this young boy will probably be tried as an adult, and frankly, I think should be. Now, how is this trial going to come out? This is going to be another one of those where, unfortunately, if it doesn’t come out in a particular way, the left is going to have a fit, and it’ll still be the young white man, you know, the young white boy’s fault, no matter what the trial does, no matter what happens when it’s all said and done. And that in and of itself is also wrong. So, again, I know I wasn’t there. I wasn’t on the track and field at that point in time when this thing happened. But what I can say is it doesn’t make any difference. No matter what was said, no matter what happened, no matter what the altercation was, you don’t stab the other person. Period. Period. Where will this go? How long will this trial last? All of that. Honestly, I have no idea. I have no idea. The family said that their address was leaked. They’ve had all sorts of graphic and racist threats, which, by the way, that’s not right either. You know, it’s not correct to do that against the family either. So those people that are doing that are 100% wrong. But do I believe that this particular family, that their lives are in danger if they don’t move? No, I don’t believe that. I don’t believe that. And, again, I look at this nothing more than they’re taking the money that people donated from all over the country. No. That’s another conversation. Why? Why are you dumb enough to donate money to this? That’s another one that, to me, is just, I don’t get. It makes no sense to me. But somebody did. Some buddies, plural, did. Or they wouldn’t have raised over $400,000 for the quote-unquote legal defense fund for this young man. And the sad part about all of this is this is now going to change forever two families’ lives. The young man, the Metcalf family, the young man has died. Their lives are changing now for good, for the future, forever. The school itself has probably changed forever. And now this young black man and his family, their lives are also changed from this point forward, no matter what the outcome. That’s the part that’s sad. And that’s where we’re not teaching young people enough on the front side that actions have consequences. Be careful of what you’re doing, because these are things that you will now live with the rest of your life. And that was not taught to this young man, evidently. evidently. Michael Bailey Law, he is our mobile estate planner. He is able to come to you. That’s what makes him mobile. And, again, I can tell you right now from talking to Michael, his schedule is booked out to about July. So if you want to get on his schedule, get it done sooner than later, go to klzradio.com.
SPEAKER 10 :
When it comes to your estate, you really don’t want to leave things up to luck. Michael Bailey doesn’t rely on chance. He relies on solid, thorough planning and getting to know you as you develop your plan together. That’s because a good estate plan isn’t about luck. It’s about wisdom, preparation, and making sure your family is protected no matter what. Think about it. When you pass on, will you leave your family to guess what to do with your possessions, investments, and other assets? Or would you want to make those instructions very clear so your family can know your final wishes in detail? That’s what an estate plan does. It’s not about luck. It’s about making sure what you want to happen is followed, your assets are protected, and your family isn’t left searching for answers. Rely on solid planning from Michael Bailey, not good luck charms. Find the mobile estate planner Michael Bailey on the klzradio.com advertisers page to make sure your last wishes are followed.
SPEAKER 18 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 17 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Sunny Kutcher joining us now from Young Americans Against Socialism. Sunny, how are you?
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m doing well today. How are you, John?
SPEAKER 17 :
Always great, always great, especially when we get to talk to you. All the listeners typically will be waiting for this time, by the way, to actually hear from you as well, so that’s a good thing also.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, that’s lovely to hear. I appreciate it. And I’m just grateful to have this audience to discuss some of these crazy things that are going on. It’s important for us to share information with each other and discuss the truth because that’s what the left tries so hard to disguise and to lie to people about what is really going on.
SPEAKER 17 :
Absolutely. Okay. Talk to us about what’s happening. We’ve got legal immigration. We’re doing our best to crack down on that. I should say the Trump administration is. We have got, in this particular case, one. MS-13 gang member, and I think the Trump administration has been pretty clear on that, although we’ve got an entire party on the left that wants to deny there’s any involvement there whatsoever. That particular person was deported to El Salvador. The El Salvadorian president was even here earlier in the week talking about that whole situation, basically saying, listen, this is one of our citizens. We have now got this particular person in our control, if you would. I’m Essentially, that’s the way this is. He is not a U.S. citizen. So those of you that want him back, that’s not how this works.
SPEAKER 03 :
Precisely, I think it was actually really clarifying and perfect that President Bukele was there to to exactly what you just said, say this person is now in our custody. He was. he wasn’t going to be deported out of America to begin with. He has no right to be here from the very beginning because he’s always been an illegal alien. Uh, whether or not you even believe that he’s an MS-13 gang member, just to top it all off, uh, whether or not, yeah, there’s so many facts about this that we can get into, but just on its base, I think it’s, it was really important for, you know, Bukele to, to again, say, uh, If we were to bring him back or actually facilitate his return to America, again, he would be illegally in this country. And that would essentially, from Bukele’s words, smuggling an illegal alien back into the United States of America.
SPEAKER 17 :
Well, and, Sonny, I think it’s also – how do I want to say this? I didn’t watch all of the interview that was there, but I watched enough of it to see how the press was trying to trap him into certain things, which, frankly, fortunately, he never fell for. He stuck to his guns and, to your point, honestly, just said – hey, guys, you would like me to do one thing. Number one, that’s really, you know, that’s out of my whole purview of what I’m able to do. And why would, you know, again, I’m paraphrasing, but, you know, why would I abate and abet a criminal in the United States of America? I would not be a good president in return to President Trump if I were to do that. Again, I’m paraphrasing, but that’s essentially what he said.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely. This person is a violent criminal and his entire agenda in his own country was to turn around their crime, which he has done. And so exactly. So, you know, I think what what that conference showed me is that the media, once again, is the enemy of the people, because despite you hearing with your own ears and seeing with your own eyes, The leaders of the world discuss the legalities and the ongoings of this particular situation about an illegal alien who is being deported. It’s like we’re literally focusing on one individual who is a gang member, and you have the media trying to say to their audience or trying to convince their audience that they should somehow… feel bad for this person or they’re victimizing this illegal criminal alien it eight bewildering honestly it’s really is i think it’s just like caroline levitt the press secretary said it you had that in her conferences or press briefings rather uh… it just blow so appalling and even miller talking about you know if they just spent one-tenth of the time discussing them actual victims and that right you could be getting more of the truth and then what they’re doing which is what just truly straight from the Marxist playbook, oppressed versus oppressor, you know, portraying this illegal criminal alien as a victim, as the oppressed, whereas the administration is falling right in line with, you know, the capitalist system of, you know, hurting minorities and such. And that’s their entire agenda. And they will frame every single issue around that mindset and worldview.
SPEAKER 17 :
And now, and this just came out this afternoon, some of you may or may not have seen this, but a judge finds cause to hold Trump administration in contempt over alien enemies acts removal. I mean, that kind of goes in conjunction with what we’re talking about here. I by no means, Sonny, am a judge. I am way above my pay grade when it comes to those things, although I know enough about how some of this stuff works, how the Constitution works, what the powers of the presidency is, especially when it comes to keeping the country safe, the border control and illegal aliens and so on, where I struggle with, OK, judge, No offense, but I, in my own heart, feel like you are overstepping your bounds.
SPEAKER 03 :
I would agree with that. I would say that in no way does it make sense that one district court judge determines the future of the entire nation. Of the nation, that’s right. That just in and of itself is completely… outrageous and outlandish and the framers would not support that that i mean they didn’t want the president to have just one power you know enough power by himself to become a dictator but now you have a district court judge who is assuming that the position of uh the leader who can just decide what’s best for this country when we have 10 plus even probably 20 million illegal aliens in this country honestly i am getting to the point where the people who perpetrated this crisis onto our nation, which will take, honestly, who knows how many years it will take to really correct the things that have happened and just the destruction that they’ve created, the grief, the horrible things that have happened to families at the hands of these criminals who genuinely have no remorse for their actions, who genuinely believe that that is, like, their way of life, and that’s what brings them, you know, status in their own worldview, because that is genuinely how other countries operate. You know, just to kind of, like, to pause for a moment, the reason that this individual did not want to go back to El Salvador originally is because he In the withholding order, it said that he was going to be, you know, at risk of his life or his life was at risk because of a different gang. So what does that tell you? Like the gang, this is how other countries work.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, thank you. I’m glad you brought that up. The reality is he didn’t want to go back there because he knew his life. could be in danger because he was a part of one gang. I mean, it’s like the Crips and the Bloods. You’re part of one gang. The other gang is going to be after you. Of course, that could be an issue. Bottom line, and I don’t want to sound calloused here, Sonny, but not my problem. As a U.S. citizen, not my problem. Don’t care. Go back home. That’s your problem, not mine.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly. And it’s simply for the fact that America does not function that way. OK, we don’t let criminal gangs run our streets and determine, you know, whose lives are in danger. Right. We have law and order in this country. And for a judge to actually side with criminal aliens against American people, it’s baffling. It’s so disturbing. That is how you know that. these judges, the left, leaders of, you know, leaders in our government are truly under the control of the enemy of satanic, demonic forces, Marxist forces, because I truly believe that Marxism comes from just a demonic way of thinking. And it’s really sad, but we have to continue. That’s why it’s so important for us to call out the truth, because Now that, you know, President Trump is the president, we have more of an ability as the people to say the truth because he’s saying it out loud. He’s allowing these conferences to be shown. He’s allowing, you know, that that is getting out into, you know, the wavelengths, if you will. And people are hearing it. And so they’re being forced to say, am I should I believe what I’m actually hearing is happening? Or do I believe talking heads that are trying to convince me of truth? something that I don’t even know is true. Like they’re just literally lying to our faces. And so Marxists, you know, if they’re being cornered like that, they’re going to start acting out in other ways. And that’s what we’re seeing because they just have no other, they have no more rope to lie about the truth because they’re not in control anymore.
SPEAKER 17 :
It’s interesting, too, that we’ve even got, you know, Democrat politicians in particular. There is a Democrat senator, Chris Van Hollen, who wants to go to El Salvador and actually pay a visit to this particular individual that we deported there. And I’m not going to use his name because I don’t want to give the guy any credit. But at the end of the day, the president of El Salvador says, yeah, no, not on my watch. Not going to happen. Sorry. I mean, you can talk about it all day long. But the reality is your credentials don’t work here. That’s basically what he told him.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s. It’s preposterous. It’s preposterous. He went to El Salvador. He actually touched down and tried. And the vice president, I believe, of El Salvador was just saying, you know, I’m not going to like this is like, no, like really quick.
SPEAKER 17 :
I got to interrupt here for a minute, Sonny, because the. pompous attitude of the left. I mean, they talk about the right and our nationalistic views of things and how we think we’re better than the rest of the world and so on, which, by the way, is not true. It’s not how we look at things. We just want our nation to stay a nation, stay free, stay a republic and so on. There’s lots of things that we could get into there. But bottom line, that’s not how we look at the rest of the world. We don’t look at as the fact that we’re more superior than anybody else. We just want our country to stay a country. It is very pompous and actually very much the thing that they point the finger at us for is what he did by going to El Salvador. He’s basically making it seem like he’s more important than they are.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely. I mean, even Rachel Warren, who was killed in Maryland, I mean – He never once reached out to that family. I think he made a post on Twitter of saying, you know, my condolences to the woman’s family who was savagely beaten, tortured, and murdered and stuffed into a drain. But he’ll literally get on a plane to go free a criminal gang member from a high maximum security prison in El Salvador on taxpayer dollars, no less. Are we genuinely… seeing this and not like up in arms. Like, I just feel like, you know, we need to become really loud. I think that there’s something that happens when it’s not an election year that people just kind of fall off. Like this, this stuff kind of just gets swept under the rug and we just day after day, this new story, new story. And we just, we’re not pulling out, pulling, you know, from a 30,000 foot view and saying like, there is, something so seriously broken with our values, so seriously broken with our nation that that’s what our leaders are doing. And I’m really like not pleased at all. And I could, you know, be somewhat impatient, but I really feel that the people who perpetrated this border crisis, this humanitarian travesty of probably 500,000 kids that have gone missing or have become sex slaves, And, you know, are now in child labor situations or kids literally being sent to random strangers homes because they were supposedly their sponsors who are now being abused by pedophiles. People need to be held accountable, and I’m just so sick and tired of the excuses, and I don’t feel that the people who brought this on, Alejandro Mayorkas, who facilitated this entire thing in order to win, in order for their party to win and have control over our nation forever as a one-party state, a communist state. I’m just so sick and tired of these excuses, and I would really like to see some justice brought.
SPEAKER 17 :
I agree. Sunny, 100%. How do folks find you, Young Americans Against Socialism?

We want people to hear this message because socialism and communism is more broad than people think. They hear that term and just think, well, yeah, China, communism, bad. Cuba, communism, bad. But it’s infiltrated our country and our institutions in ways that we may not even realize, you know, because they don’t call it by that name. And so we need to reach young people with this message. Please help us if you can. And I’m just really grateful to have this audience and, you know, that they support our mission. And we’re so grateful. So thank you again. SPEAKER 18 :
We don’t yell at you. We inform you. Now, back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 17 :
All right, we are back. Excuse me, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Dan and Blackhawk, you’re next. Go ahead, sir.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, the criminal in question, I’m glad he’s out of the country. Part of the problem that they’re having is there was a court order that he was not supposed to be deported and made a mistake.
SPEAKER 17 :
I lost you. We lost you. Just one second. Say the court order part again. We lost you, Dan.
SPEAKER 07 :
There was a court order that he was not supposed to be deported to El Salvador. Okay. And they made a mistake, and he actually got sent to El Salvador. So I’m glad he’s in El Salvador. Yeah. The question is, since there was a court order, did they violate the law by deporting this guy to El Salvador? Regardless of the guy, it’s a question of law. And they can’t get him back, it sounds like. So they’re worried that this is going to set a precedent that the United States can deport Americans, is what they’re saying.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, by the way, I don’t I don’t see that happening because we, as you know, have a and this is where the debate comes in. And this is something that, you know, I could get experts on, Dan, and I could get them from both sides of the aisle. And both sides would have a difference of opinion as to what rights illegal aliens actually have in the United States of America. I have my own opinion on that. I am not a constitutional attorney, but I personally believe that they don’t have, nor should they have, the same rights that you and I as citizens have, because citizenship comes with its own set of rights and benefits, if you would, that I don’t feel people visiting should have. That’s my opinion.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m with you lock, stock, and barrel that the first act they did to get into the country was illegal. They shouldn’t be here.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah. And then on top of that, I mean, do I think there’s certain dignity rights and things along those lines and so on that those individuals should have? Yes. Dan, I don’t think we should ever treat anybody like slaves and prisoners and things along those lines. But on the same token. if you’ve come here and you’ve got known gang affiliations, which, by the way, this particular individual does in fact have, no matter what the left tells you all, yes, in fact, he did have gang affiliations. Dan, for me, get him out of here. I could care less. Deport him. Done. Handled.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, and I mean, they can say all they want. I mean, the United States can say we’d like him back because we messed up, we made a mistake, and they’re going to deport him again, but He’s, like you said, he’s an El Salvadorian citizen. Yeah, so he’s in the country he needs to be. And it’s up to the El Salvador government.
SPEAKER 17 :
you guys are not allowed to be here. We’re sending you back to the U S and we’re like, Whoa, no, we want to stay here. And they’re like, yeah, no, you’re going back to the U S where the reality is we get back to the U S and the U S then holds us because we did something wrong here, by the way. And all of a sudden now we want to go back to El Salvador and the press in El Salvador wants us back. Reality is Dan, it ain’t going to happen.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah. They can. And I’m so tired of the liberal media taking one person and, and, and betraying the entire population.
SPEAKER 17 :
Dan, it’s the same thing the left cries, and you can relate to this given what you do for a living. It’s just like the left claiming that Elon Musk is after your Social Security and your bank account. Dan, nothing could be farther from the truth.
SPEAKER 07 :
He wants to save it.
SPEAKER 17 :
Exactly. Exactly.
SPEAKER 07 :
You know, I had somebody, I was doing their return. This year, they led into Trump and into Musk, and I did my best to hold my tongue because I’m doing their tax return, but I’m like, please don’t bring your political views into my, when I’m trying to do something for you.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right.
SPEAKER 07 :
You know, and I couldn’t debate, but I could tell that the individual is listening to the liberal media because it’s all the same talking points. Yep. Billionaires don’t pay any taxes.
SPEAKER 01 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 07 :
Social Security is going to be taken away. You know, it’s the same thing over and over and over again by the liberal media. I just can’t understand why people keep listening to it and believing it.
SPEAKER 17 :
I can’t either, Dan. To me, it’s mind-boggling. I don’t get it. Well, let me say this, Dan. I think it comes down to they believe what they want to believe.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, cognitive dissonance.
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 07 :
You guys have discussed it on the show before. That’s right.
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s right. Yep. Dan, I appreciate you, man. Have a great rest of your day. Appreciate you very much. And stay safe driving. I can hear you driving in the background, so be safe there. SPEAKER 18 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 17 :
And I’ve got several stories that I was going to get to today that I may have to table till tomorrow. But, you know, to Dan’s point a moment ago, and I struggle at times, although I shouldn’t. I mean, I really should understand exactly why the left believes what they believe. It is a part of the Marxist movement, a part to. take down this country any way shape or form they can I believe at times that they really don’t even believe in the things that they’re championing they just know that that’s what it takes to bring the country down and if they can do it they will they’re making a big deal out of one illegal alien that was sent back to El Salvador they’re making it seem like that’s what every illegal alien out there is going through in the reality is nothing nothing could be farther from the truth but that’s all you’re going to hear from the left on an ongoing basis so I’m I’ll be back. One more full hour coming your way. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
