Good afternoon, John. We’re doing great. Thanks for having us back with you.
SPEAKER 16 :
Always a joy. We’re going to talk today about socialism and the fact that no kid ever wanted to grow up to be a socialist. And no, they didn’t.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, and we discussed this a couple of years ago, but with the election in New York City and Virginia and Seattle and the things going on, and it seems to be more popularly thought of today, I thought it would be a good time to revisit this and how our natural instincts from our earliest moments on this earth are to have individual freedom.
SPEAKER 16 :
Yep, and it’s funny because I think some would argue with what we’re saying about how no kid wants to be a socialist. Well, and we’ll explain some of this today, Richard, as you know, because no, they really don’t want to be, because when you really get down to explaining to them what that means, they’re very much against it.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, and where I first thought of this idea, I was at a Houston Astros baseball game, and a family with a couple of young kids was in front of me, and as I was watching them during the in between pitches and things, it just struck me how much they were exerting their free will and their desire to make their own decisions and do things they wanted the way they wanted without anyone telling them what they could or couldn’t do. And I thought that is the natural stage of life that we come out with as kids. And it’s all of the things that are added during life that make people want to succumb to this allure, if you will, of socialism.
SPEAKER 16 :
And I think, correct me if I’m wrong, Richard, but that allure typically doesn’t come from folks that understand what it is. That allure comes from folks that either don’t understand or maybe they’ve been very misguided.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, yes, it sounds so good. And people never hear what they have to get up for the promise of what they think sounds good. It’s almost like timeshare salespeople. And we all know how that works out. And so when people are pitching it and when they’re asked about, well, name one time when it’s worked, they always go back to, well, we’re different. We’ll make it work this time. But all we have to do is look at specific examples. And one of the most recent ones, Venezuela, and how rapidly the country deteriorated because of taking away the freedom that wasn’t part of the deal, because people don’t realize what they have to give up individually to sign up for the collective.
SPEAKER 16 :
And there is, by the way, there’s the catch, which, as you know, there’s always a catch. And nothing’s ever like it seems, by the way, especially when it comes to socialism, as you know, Richard, because the end goal, by the time it’s all said and done, people are sorely disappointed in how things turn out.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, and what question do little kids think of and ask and drive us crazy when they first communicate? They always ask why. No matter what we ask them to do, why is always their question. And one of the things we’ve talked about before, why is a question that only free people can ask because in fully socialist countries, people can’t ask why. They basically are given rules and forced to obey because why? Socialists take power by force that they can’t acquire by persuasion.
SPEAKER 16 :
You are so right. So, okay, so question along these lines. How do we, and I know, you know, between what you talk about, what I talk about, you know, you do speeches and things like that. I do this on a daily basis. How do we give real-life examples as to, guys, you know what? At the end of the day, this doesn’t work. It’s never worked. It’s not going to work.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah. And it won’t work because as we’ve talked about before, human nature is the same today as it’s been thousands of years and human nature is what makes it not work. But yet people who are trying to sell this vision, they believe human nature has changed or progressed to a point that it can be made to work. And so I think if we can get people to acknowledge that human nature hasn’t changed, well, if it hasn’t changed, why would we think anyone today could make socialism work better than they did in the past?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah, I don’t know. I think, is it because, and asking this genuinely, you think in some cases there are some folks that genuinely believe this model works. I do think there’s some others that are using it because they’ve got very deceptive things going on. In other words, they want to deceive when it’s all said and done. They know in the end it doesn’t work, that only the rich get richer and the poor become a slave to the state. And I think there’s folks, you know, Richard, that Really do believe that and they’re pushing that they know that that’s their agenda. But I do think there are some genuine folk that really do believe that, you know, socialism, communism even is the answer. So, you know, how do you, you know, how do we overcome that in those particular individuals? Because it almost seems like they’re blinded to the facts.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, I think you’re right. There are people genuinely believe as well as people who exploit others for their own benefit in the ruling class, if you will. And again, I think it’s education and example and trying to get them to identify something they want that they would have to give up for the socialism. And one of the great examples I’ve heard is the professor in college who teaching the kids about everyone gets the same grade regardless of how hard they work and how fast that degenerates into no one working and no one learning and everyone being less informed than they would be if they strove for higher grades based on performance.
SPEAKER 16 :
That’s a great example because as that – and we’ve all read that particular story. I don’t know how much truth there is to that story. It wouldn’t surprise me, by the way. In fact, that story’s probably been told more than once to a classroom because some folk really have a hard time understanding what we’re talking about. But when you’re the teacher – and some kids got an f and some kids got an a but you approach the class and say you know essentially this is how you know this is how this is going to work we’re going to take everybody that had an a and they’re going to have a c and everybody that got an f is going to have a c so everybody passes what do you all think well of course those that worked really really hard and got the a as you know richard they’re extremely upset but those that got the f and are not going to get a c they’re happy as a clam and then of course the the teacher goes on to say, you know, this is how socialism works at the end of the day. Those that really have worked and strived hard are giving everything back to be mediocre, so those that haven’t done anything are also mediocre.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, and we’ve talked about before as well that even the pilgrims tried socialism the first year in Plymouth, when it was everybody working to help everybody, and they all about starved to death, and half of them died, and after a year they decided to give each person a plot and the responsibility to grow and take care of their own food. And of course, then a market was created because people were able to trade what they did for what other people did also. And that just helps each of us have God-given creative gifts that are different. There’s things I’m terrible at. Hopefully there’s something I’m decent at. And we use those gifts to not only to fulfill our own spirits, but the products of our gifts, we trade with others for the products of their gifts that we’re not strong at. And all we have to do is be a parent of more than one kid also to see, even though we raise them the same, we cannot make them the same. And so why would we ever think a government led by anyone could make all of us the same?
SPEAKER 16 :
And to me, Richard, and not to get way off on some spiritual track here, but I think I can say this with full confidence. God himself does not like socialism. And the reason I can say that is because He created us all equal, but we’re not equal. In other words, we’re equal in that we can all have the gospel, we can accept Christ. I mean, all of that is definitely equal to everyone, Jew, Gentile, Bible’s very clear on that. But Richard, Bible’s also very clear that we’re not equal. You know, what one person possesses is not what the next person possesses as far as talents and gifts and so on. And, you know, why does he choose to gift someone with something that that somebody else doesn’t have. You know, Richard, I’m not him. I can’t answer that. I just know that not everybody is equal as far as that goes. You said that a moment ago yourself. The reality is we’re not equal. We all have different talents. And I do know this. God expects us to excel in the talents and the gifts that he’s given us. Socialism, this is where I know God doesn’t like it, socialism diminishes all of that.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, and of course, an additional example is giving the different Jewish tribes assigned land. Good point. Versus everybody just sharing as well. Good point. And you’re right. In the parable about the talents, God gives talents, the coins to different people. and he sees what they’ll do with it, and the one he criticizes is the one who was most protective and didn’t try to increase the bounty, if you will, from the production of what was given. And so we are given that opportunity, and Colossians, again, not to get too far off, we’re told to work as if everything we do is for God. And so and I believe personally that what we do here on this earth prepares us to be in service in eternity as well.
SPEAKER 16 :
I agree. I agree. So, again, at the end of the day, does socialism work? No. Does any kid ever want to grow up to be a socialist? If you really sit them down and explain to them what socialism is from a very early age, Richard, no, they are very much against it.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, and that’s why it’s so important for us to point those things out and to make sure they understand the things they have and the blessings they have and how they would have to give up some of those things in the pretense of trying to attain equity.

Well, I have a pretty lengthy conversation where we dive into a timeline when they might like to retire and a few income things so we could get a handle on the amount of money they’re going to need to retire. What does that look like for you? Are you going to be traveling a lot? Are you going to be skiing? Are you going to be spending a lot of time at home? Because some people’s idea of retirement means they’re going to need $10,000, $12,000 a month. Other people, $4,000 or $5,000 is going to be very adequate depending on what kind of things they do in retirement.

Okay, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Sandy Kutcher from Young Americans Against Socialism. Continuing on what we were talking about with Richard Battle a moment ago. Join us here at the 4.30 mark. In the meantime, Andy and I brushed on this yesterday. We didn’t get a chance to really talk much about it. And this is going to have lasting impacts. and this particular story so three years ago city of lakewood initiated an audit of cell phone companies providing services to residents and businesses of that city to see if they were complying with the city’s tax on cell phone services and was it being complied with the audit revealed that metro pcs the cellular services had not paid any of those taxes to the city for several years resulting in an unpaid tax bill to the city in excess of a million dollars Metro PCS fought that assessment, claiming that the legislation that imposed that tax on cellular service providers violated the state Tabor law since it had never been approved by the voters of that city. This was yesterday, so on Monday, the Colorado Supreme Court agreed with MetroPCS, and now not only will the city of Lakewood not be collecting that $1 million plus the assessment from MetroPCS, they will have to refund more than $42 million in similar taxes that they have collected from dozens of other cell phone carriers operating in the city that they have collected over the past decade. By the way, good job Metro PCS. I don’t know them, don’t use them, but anytime I see something like this, congratulations. You fought City Hall and you won. They are owned by T-Mobile. Thank you, Charlie. So I guess you could say T-Mobile won. Now, I’m guessing, and maybe I’m wrong in this, but I’m guessing T-Mobile probably looked at this and said, you know, it’s a million bucks. We can fight this. It’s going to cost us money to fight it. We’ll have lawyers involved and so on, and it’s going to be expensive. But you know what? It’s the principle of it. I think that’s probably what, in this case, T-Mobile looked at. It’s the principle. Colorado has a law. This city is violating that law. Let’s get it handled. Now, you also have to kind of wonder, did some of the other cell phone companies, you know, were they in cahoots on this at all, or were they, I’m sure they were watching very closely, but was there any collaboration with any of the other cell phone companies? I have no idea. That really doesn’t matter, but you kind of wonder. At the end of the day, this is a huge win, by the way, for everyone, because what it does is it shows cities across the state of Colorado, you can’t violate TABOR. Now, I get it. There are a lot of Democrats out there right now that would love to see Tabor go away. Here’s a reason why. If Tabor didn’t exist, City of Lakewood would have collected not only $42 million, but add another million to that, it would have been $43 million. As it is, they’re going to give back $42 million. Which isn’t chump change, by the way. Now, I get it. Cities have large budgets and so on. I don’t know what the city of Lakewood’s budget is. I could look it up. Doesn’t matter. $42 million is not chump change. And I know how cities work. They do have some reserves. They set a certain amount aside, but they spend everything they bring in. And then some. And sometimes they’ll even dip into those reserves, depending upon what kind of projects they have going on in the city and so on. So I’m guessing that this is probably not going to help Lakewood out at the end of the day. This is a wake-up call, not only to the city of Lakewood, but other cities up and down the front range, whereby they might be charging taxes for things that they didn’t get approval for. And here’s the bigger question I have. How many other cities are doing something similar that companies like this may go back and say, you know, we just saw what happened over in Lakewood with Metro PCS and the fact they just won a nice big lawsuit. You as a city of whatever, I mean, I could rattle them off, Broomfield, Westminster, Littleton, I can go down the list, Denver. Did you violate it by doing some of these same things? It’ll be interesting to see. I would not be surprised if there aren’t other cities around the state of Colorado that have violated Tabor in very much the same way by the city council, you know, electing to charge X without having the residents of that city vote on that because they’re violating Tabor if they don’t. So, folks, trust me. Now, I can’t read the Denver Post because I don’t subscribe to the Denver Post. This is an article coming out of the Denver Post. I won’t subscribe to the Denver Post because I won’t give them a dime of my money. In fact, I don’t know that I subscribe to, other than the Wall Street Journal, I don’t subscribe to anything. That is the only publication I actually subscribe to because I pull a lot of information from that. It’s not super conservative. It’s also not super liberal. They’ve got a lot of good things, especially on the financial end of things and so on. And, yes, I do read the Wall Street Journal on occasion, actually look at it almost every day, some of that for the show here. But other than that, I don’t subscribe to anyone. And the Denver Post has such a hard paywall that you can’t hardly look at a single article without having to pay them, and I just won’t do it. So you guys might be able to. Some of you might even have subscriptions to the Denver Post. I don’t. I won’t. Much like I’m a cheapskate and my kids make fun of me all the time. They call me Cheapo Filippo because I won’t subscribe to Dish and Cable and all of that and whatever. I have to scrounge around and figure out how to watch certain things on TV at times, ball games and so on, because I won’t pay the money that these guys ask for things. And for me, it’s a principal thing. It’s not whether I can afford it or not. That’s not the issue. It’s do I want to afford it, and would I rather do something else with that money? And for me, yes, I would. Now, getting back to the city of Lakewood. As I said a moment ago, this is a big story. This is a story that you’re not hearing a lot of people talk about, by the way. At least I haven’t heard too many people talk about this. Have you, Charlie? I read it, but I didn’t really hear anybody talking about it. It’s not like this has been all over the news. This is big news. And again, the reason it’s big news is because it’s keeping, in this case, the city of Lakewood in check, and this will dovetail into others. And I’m surprised, actually, at the Colorado Supreme Court because it’s pretty left-leaning. But it must have been pretty cut and dried that you guys imposed a tax. You basically went around Tabor. That’s not allowed. You’re done. They’re not required to pay the tax. In fact, these others that have, you probably should give them a refund because you didn’t do this the right way. So it’ll be interesting to see what happens moving forward with not only Lakewood, but some of the other cities. Will Lakewood actually put this up as a ballot measure inside of their own city to see if they can get some of this money back as time goes by? I’m not sure. I’m not sure who at the city thought this was a good idea in the first place. Typically, cell phone companies and things like that, if there are taxes and fees owed, that’s done on a state level. Typically. In other words, you look at your bill and you’ll see some things on there for communication fees and things like that, taxes and so on. That’s typically done on a state level. Rarely does a city impose a quote-unquote sales tax on cellular services because they’re not selling anything other than a service. And typically services, by the way, aren’t taxed in Colorado. In fact, labor is not taxed in Colorado, period. And I can tell you this, these cities, Aurora is another one that’s really, really big on, I don’t want to say this about Aurora. Aurora likes to make up its own rules. Let me just say it that way. And I know this because I’ve seen some of the audits and things that they do. Aurora likes to make up its own rules. It doesn’t really keep anything consistent. If they think that they can go in as an auditor and extract money out of a particular business because of whatever reason, they will. And frankly, they’ll cheat the system. I’ve seen it. I’ve watched it. I’ve argued with them on behalf of others. City of Aurora is a bunch of scoundrels when it comes to their audit department, when it comes to sales tax. Worse than probably any other city that I’ve dealt with. Yeah, that’s the city of Aurora. Those of you that are out there, I’m sorry, but that’s where you live. Bunch of stinking communists, if you ask me. And all of these cities, by the way, up and down the Front Range, everywhere, by the way, not just here in Colorado, they’re all trying to extract as much revenue as they possibly can out of their tax base because they like spending it. They are drunk on spending money. And for a lot of cities, it’s almost like, how can I outdo the city next to us? How can I spend more than what they’re doing? It almost becomes a contest. The auction I’m going to go to this week, tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Barrett-Jackson. I mean, there’s a lot of folks at that auction where they get into a big contest to see who can outspend who. White people like auctions. And a lot of these cities, by the way, will do the exact same thing. They will literally try to see who can outspend who, who can have the most of this or the most of that, and it becomes a contest. And a lot of the folks that serve on city councils, that’s exactly what they do. Rather than being autonomous and just saying, you know, we’re going to do what we’re going to do. It doesn’t really matter what everybody else is doing. We’re going to do what we’re going to do. No, a lot of these city council members don’t look at it that way. They really get into this big sort of contest, I guess you could say, with some of the other cities saying, you know, no, we’re going to outdo them. We’re not going to just settle for X. We’re going to do this instead. So side note, I could go on and on about this, but this is a big win. Thank you, Metro PCS, for fighting this. Doing well. It’s a chilly day in L.A. We’re feeling the winter weather, but I know there’s a storm coming, so I hope everyone stays safe.

Chilly as in, like, how cold is it?
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s like 60 degrees.
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah, it’s 45 here, so you’re doing just fine. But no, I get it. When people are used to a certain temperature and it starts dropping below that, yeah, it’s cold for those folks that live there. I fully understand.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s been 80 degrees for context.
SPEAKER 16 :
Okay, so then dropping into 60 makes it a little bit chilly. Yeah, and a lot of the country this weekend is going to get hit with this cold front that’s coming down, and a lot of folks are going to have snow and ice and so on. But let’s talk about Young Americans Against Socialism, the things you guys do there. And the one thing you and I were talking about even before this particular segment and you coming on air is what’s happening with Trump in Greenland. And there were a lot of folks up until even today, I think, that were all upset over what Trump was doing. And yet, to his credit, Once again, everything’s all settled. There’s no more tariffs on anything EU, and they’ve got some sort of a structure in place. You watched the video. I didn’t get a chance to do it, the speech that he gave. But essentially, there’s structure in place now to get Greenland handled, and it will be used for our defense when it’s all said and done. And as Trump said, the defense of the world.

I think this is astounding. It truly is. I mean, we’re witnessing history here. unfold and it is pretty remarkable the way that you know the way that president trump is portrayed in the media in in the in the world and just how he is and as a leader of this world where every you know every like this is someone who is known by you know virtually anyone who has an understanding of the outside world right it’s remarkable how successful he still is despite everything that they have done to him and thrown at him, and I think the only explanation for that, from my perspective, is because it is a divine intervention. What we’re seeing take place in humanity and the history of our world with the clash over values and which way our world will go, whether it will be continuing toward freedom or going towards authoritarianist regimes, it is just remarkable. And he is just so successful at it.
SPEAKER 16 :
And you’re right. And I think, again, as I said, there was a lot of folk, even up until yesterday, that were really against Donald Trump. And frankly, I’ll be the first to admit, would I have done it exactly the way He did. No. And, you know, honestly, maybe I wouldn’t have gotten the results that he got, maybe scaring a lot of those other countries into man alive. You know, we don’t want another, you know, you know, tariff battle. You know, we don’t want another economic battle. We’ve got enough already going on. We’re already hurting when it comes to the economic end of things. Yeah, we could go to China, but it’s not the same. And nor do we want to do that at the end of the day. We know we need to get something figured out. And somehow, some way, 11th hour, they did.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely. And of course, you know, he does cut through the noise in a way that is very unique to him. But, for example, something that I heard in the speech, which I just thought was astounding when it comes to completely cutting down and debunking the climate change agenda. the Marxist climate change agenda, which is truly rooted in utilizing it toward more control over the people, is that he always talks about the windmills all over the place and how just absolutely awful they are, just aesthetically, but also they are actually terrible for the environment. They actually kill birds, and they kill birds, and that’s bad for the environment. And they’re obviously, I said, ugly, but they also are not very useful, and they really don’t produce a lot of energy. in comparison to other forms of alternative energy. So he says, excuse me, that where are they made? They’re made in China. So China is selling all these dummies, basically, windmills all over the place that have all these horrible consequences. But meanwhile, they’re not used in China. And so it’s like he points things out in a way that actually helps people understand that this is a dynamic, this is a power struggle. And he wants America to be the superpower of the northern hemisphere of the world. And that’s what he’s doing. And, of course, he does have his own style.
SPEAKER 16 :
He does, and again, I’ll be the first to admit, and I said this yesterday, do I always agree with his style? No, I do not. I mean, love the guy, always will support him. Sometimes I wonder, man, what is the end goal here? But yet this is another example of, you know, he knows things on the inside that the rest of us don’t, and we need to be a little bit more trusting of his methods and what he’s doing because at the end of the day, you know, we as a country are going to be better protected now when it’s all said and done. We get our golden dome built, and we’re going to be in good shape.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely. Absolutely. And I think he is, he’s preparing us for the future. And he talks about just the sheer power that we had as far as Venezuela. And I think he’s kind of just setting the tone where, you know, America is going to be making moves. And And if, you know, with the Greenspan thing, what he said in the speech was basically, you know, other presidents have tried to buy this piece of territory in the past and they were not successful. You can, you know, make a deal, then come to the table now, or you can be sorry that you didn’t and you’re saying no. And so that’s pretty much it. He just, he just is very, it’s very, it’s interesting because he’s very straightforward in a lot of the, in a lot of the actions that he takes. And then also some things come out of nowhere. And I think that, Another great piece of this administration has been just that there haven’t really been leaks, and that has allowed them to make moves that have come pretty suddenly. But I would like to see the deportations ramped up, and I think that that is going to kind of break at some point. I think we’re getting to a breaking point there. Yeah. I agree.
SPEAKER 16 :
And I think, you know, somebody asked me this morning, you know, how do I think things in Minnesota end? And the reality is, you know, they have to end by having more support from the locals, which it seems like they’re finally getting a little bit more local support. But you’ve got to have more local police presence and do some things along those lines. To your point, just get the thing cleaned up. Once you feel like you’ve got things cleaned up, you know, get ICE out of there. Now, in defense of the president and ICE. Minnesota is a sanctuary state, so the reality is there’s a lot of folks that flock there because they knew there wouldn’t be any repercussions for being there in the first place. So that is a big task at hand, and I don’t want to make lightly of that at all.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely. I mean, this is a serious problem. In fact, it’s probably number one on my list as far as things that I really feel is the most important thing that needs to happen during Trump’s administration, or Trump’s term, rather, is is deportations because that is something that the left needs is their, you know, their false voter base, manufactured voter base. And that is something that if you can deport millions, of people, then that is just something that can’t be just so easily reversed. They can open the border again, they can do it all over again, but that would just obviously take time. And they’ve been doing this for decades. So if we can really get millions, I mean, seriously, like tens of millions, 10 million, like that would be, I mean, that’s not even enough. Like there’s like, I think, 40 to 50 million.

Yeah, I think it’s more like 50 million when it’s all said and done. I don’t think you’re far off on that.

Which is, like, it’s mind-boggling. It’s a lot. That’s as much as some countries, so it’s a lot. Even 10 million doesn’t even crack the, you know.

That’s more than the population of Canada, which most people don’t realize.

Right. That’s right. Speaking of, I don’t know if you saw this, but I wanted to bring this up with you being on here. So after the Somalia fraud scandal, there’s a Virginia Democrat now. She is Jessica Anderson. She is pushing a bill that would kill oversight of nonprofits, meaning, Sunny, we’ve now got a Democrat lawmaker. who I guess doesn’t like the fact or loves the fact, let me say it this way, loves the fact that they committed so much fraud, billion dollars plus of fraud in Minnesota and who knows where else in the country. I guess she’s okay with that because she wants to loosen the oversight on nonprofits, making it easier to steal money from you and I.

I mean, and this is exactly what this is. Once again, how can you not see that this is by design? I mean, I’m on purpose with the intention because they have no moral code. This is the direction because that’s the only thing that supports their agenda because their agenda is so dark and sinister. I mean, that’s really all you can say. And coming from the left, which is, like, ironic, you know, less oversight, right? You would think that…

faked receipts to basically cover their tracks, and yet this particular lawmaker wants to see less scrutiny on those sorts of things. In fact, you know, Sunny, I would look at it the opposite and say we need more scrutiny. Evidently, there’s not enough.

Absolutely not enough. I mean, we’re seeing that. It’s just being uncovered. I mean, the depths of the corruption and just the illusion that is the welfare state of our country is just, I mean… it’s mind boggling. It truly is. That’s, that’s sometimes where I get a little bit like, Ooh, you pull the, you pull, you know, you look at it from a bird’s eye view and you, and you pull out of it and it’s just like, it’s a lot. And you could see like how quickly our government, you know, was, I think, I guess the gradual effect of like the infiltration of all of these disruption, but then I think just how quickly it kind of cracked open. Right. And like the floodgates opened and, anticipated today that people don’t know or you know that uh… that it’s not intentional that there are nefarious motives behind the correction that this could have been a little bit in the entire job of the elected officials to he had to have over to decide i i i think I feel like I’m confused and why it should even be a conversation.

Yeah, well, I’m like you. I get confused as well. And when I read this article, I’m just like, okay, wait a minute. This is, well, on the same token, this is a liberal. This is somebody that’s on the Marxist left. And we talk about that a lot. You and I do, Sonny. And literally in this case, proving our point of what we talk about when it comes to the Marxist left, because this is the Marxist left in action. Let’s have less oversight over individuals that stole billions of dollars of taxpayer money.

Absolutely, because they’re so humanitarian and say, well, we shouldn’t pry, we shouldn’t ask questions.

And keep in mind, really quick, one thing I want to add to that too, Sonny, keep in mind, a lot of the money that was absconded and stolen, if you would, from us as taxpayers, went then to terrorist organizations to come back and basically come back and fight against us. So let’s not forget that. So basically, this is a lawmaker saying it’s okay to funnel that money into terrorists.

Absolutely. I mean, absolutely. And I mean, I don’t know if you saw some stories recently where they were talking about in Minnesota, the TSA agents, where they were moving like $10 million a week.

Cash going out in suitcases. And they had paperwork to back up the fact that they could do that. They weren’t doing anything technically illegal. Well, come to find out now they were. But as far as going through the airports, she as an agent couldn’t stop them because they had all the proper documentation. But the reality is that money was literally leaving our country going into the hands of terrorists.

Yep. Taxpayer, taxpayer money, your money and mine going into, you know, going out to fund terrorist organizations. Obama’s ice chief gets an award for 920,000 removals. Trump’s ice chief is called a Nazi. Same guy, Tom Hellman, was in charge of it for Obama. Obama deported in 2012 409,000 people. Trump in 2025, 290. You’ve got to do the math. It’s so frustrating because, like you said, they’ve taken such an anti-Trump administration position that no matter what he does, even if it is in the name of good intentions. The problem is, Minnesota is a sanctuary state. So because they’re a sanctuary state, they do not cooperate with ICE. They can arrest somebody for a violent crime, have them in jail, and they release them on the street. And so ICE is forced to go get these people in the streets.

Anyways, bottom line there is, and we’ve talked about this to some extent, probably not as much as we should because there’s a lot of folks on the left that just don’t understand the math that that particular individual was talking about, and I wrote it down. $409,000 under Obama. 290 under Trump. So right there, Obama deported more people than Trump has. Now, I will say this, in defense of Donald Trump, a lot of who Donald Trump is deporting, he’s going after the bad actors. Now, I don’t know, in Obama’s case, who he actually went after. I highly doubt it was just bad actors. There was probably a lot of folks that got deported. Trump is being very specific in targeting those that are here that are going to cause problems or already have caused problems. Let’s get rid of them first. And this is where, by the way, I struggle with those that are on the left saying, you know, why is he doing this and what’s going on there? And then, you know, holding up protest signs for Rene Good and all of the nonsense. It’s just literally utter nonsense. These are evidently, again, low-informed people. that really have no idea what Renee Good was up there doing in the simple fact that, you know, you play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. I really have no other way to surmise that situation than that. And she played stupid games. Point being, there’s a lot of folks out there, and I read the stuff online and on social media and so on, that some are really upset over what’s going on in places like Minnesota. I’m not. Doesn’t bother me. And what I’m upset about is the fact that it got to this point. You’ve got a governor of Tim Walz who essentially is letting these people just run rip shot over everyone. And then all of the fraud that Sonny and I were just talking about a few minutes ago and just the amount of deception there and how all of us as taxpayers that work hard for that money. I mean, I don’t think that this has been stressed enough by anyone. I mean, all of us work really hard for the money that we make. Every one of you listening, we pay our taxes. Federal, local, and so on. In this case, federal dollars. They don’t even know what the total amount is yet, but it’s over a billion dollars. Of your money and mine, basically stolen. Daycare centers that were empty. Transportation that was supposed to be transporting folks back and forth, which really is at the hub of all of this. No one’s riding anything. I mean, I can go down the list, folks, of some of the undercover stuff that’s gone on to prove that all of this was fraud. Maybe there is some one-offs where it wasn’t fraud, but what they’re really finding is the majority of this was fraud. And I guarantee you, we’ve already seen where some people out there were teaching others how to do this and how to commit this. Guarantee there was a lot of that going on as well that we don’t even know yet. I’m sure we will. I’m sure we’ll get to it. People will start squealing. We’ll start figuring out exactly who’s involved in all of this and how that went. But I guarantee you there were folks there on the ground in Minnesota showing people, hey, you know, by the way, you can do X, Y, Z. You know, I’ve got a brother. I’ve got a cousin. I’ve got an aunt. I’ve got an uncle. I’ve got a mom. I’ve got a dad who did this, and this is what they got. And, oh, man, it’s easy. We’ll even help you with how to cover up some of the records and how to handle things and so on, the paperwork necessary. But man alive, this is like stealing candy from a baby. Not a problem at all. Those of you that are on the left that don’t believe me, prove me wrong. I mean that. Those of you that are on the left, prove me wrong. Guaranteed, there are people up there instructing others how to do this. Somebody figured it out, or it was part of a master plan that when this stuff got delegated in the first place, they knew exactly what they were going to do. But I guarantee you, it spread like wildfire. Because far too many Somalians were involved in this. And nothing against the Somalia people, but I’ll tell you right now, them coming to America as first-run immigrants, they don’t know enough about how this stuff works to not be coached on this to make it work. Trust me when I say that. They don’t know enough to do this on their own. They had to have been coached by somebody to get them to understand how they could have scammed with this much money. And that story that Sonny was talking about, and I’ve talked about this on air before, the TSA agent who literally blew the whistle and said, listen, yeah, I saw suitcases, literally suitcases of cash, $100 bills wrapped up, 10 grand at a time, stacked inside of suitcases being exited out of the country legally.
