HR2 Rush To Reason Encore Presentation of November 7, 2024, Hour 2 (11-28-24) by John Rush
SPEAKER 11 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 04 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes. With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 12 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did. Get a job, sir. You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 23 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 10 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind? It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by High Five Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right, we are back. Hour number two, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Charlie doing his best to get a hold of Jake Novak. If we get a hold of him, great. If not, of course, we move on and we’ll get him to join us whenever we can. So not a problem. All right, we talked yesterday. Andy and I and even Charlie through our ears, you couldn’t hear Charlie talking. We were talking about Kamala’s concession speech, I guess you could say. And, you know, was there one written prior to? And what was going on, you know, that night? And why wasn’t one there? And Andy was saying that typically they have, you know, both already written a concession speech and an acceptance speech. Well… I found something today that was interesting that somebody put up on social media. This was up on TikTok, but I think it might have even been a replayed video from something else. I want to play this for you, and you might find this interesting. Now… That doesn’t mean that this is, in fact, the same speech writer, and they can take different things from different – and Charlie probably knows more about this than I do. I mean, they can take different speeches, although this one would have been from almost eight – well, it would have been eight years ago. And you kind of wonder – granted, there’s electronic storage and so on, so I guess they could have gone back in and dug through some files and so on. But it’s eerily the same. And I won’t say any more because you’ll be able to hear this in the particular clip here. So just listen in. Here we go. Charlie, let me make sure my sound is on. That would help. Here we go.
SPEAKER 07 :
The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for. not what we voted for.
SPEAKER 09 :
This is not the outcome we wanted or we worked so hard for.
SPEAKER 07 :
Earlier today, I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition.
SPEAKER 09 :
Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country.
SPEAKER 07 :
Over the 107 days of this campaign, We have been intentional about building community and building coalitions, bringing people together from every walk of life and background.
SPEAKER 09 :
We’ve spent a year and a half bringing together millions of people from every corner of our country to say with one voice that we believe that the American dream is big enough for everyone.
SPEAKER 07 :
To the young people who are watching, it is okay to feel sad and disappointed. But please know it’s going to be okay.
SPEAKER 09 :
To the young people in particular, I hope you will hear this.
SPEAKER 07 :
On the campaign, I would often say, when we fight, we win. But here’s the thing, here’s the thing. Sometimes the fight takes a while. That doesn’t mean we won’t win. That doesn’t mean we won’t win.
SPEAKER 09 :
This loss hurts, but please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right. I’ll leave it at that. You guys can come up with your own conclusions. Jake Novak joining us now. Jake, I was playing the comparisons of what Kamala Harris said in her concession speech to what Hillary Clinton said back in 2016 to her concession speech. And do they have the same writers?
SPEAKER 18 :
Oh, probably. And I think this was probably written a long time ago. But you know what? I’m not going to nitpick. As concession speeches go, and considering some of the things she could have said that would have been incendiary and more divisive… uh… i’m grateful i’m grateful for all the super short i think she’s so close to a minute you’re right yet thank god yes uh… actually and that’s not even just about her i don’t make that just about her i’m i’m in favor of much shorter a political speeches the problem is these people come to these rallies and wait six hours and even the six-minute speech i mean that’s really a rip-off so i understand i wish that political because we’re shorter but so i’m happy i’m grateful that she didn’t she wasn’t more divisive but you know one thing everyone needs to understand about kamala harris this is the last time That was the last time yesterday that she will ever speak in front of a crowd of more than 200 people as the actual headline. That’s probably true. Never will again. Yes, you’re correct. And so that’s not a bad way to exit stage left, exit stage far left, right? And that’s fine with me. And I am just as happy about the election result as I am, I’m maybe even more happy about the fact that that it really seems like the air has come out of the tires of any potential post-election violence. I think the last time I was on with you, I was worried about that.
SPEAKER 14 :
I talked about that problem.
SPEAKER 18 :
The clarity of the victory for Trump has taken a lot of the air out of the tires. And both she and Biden in their comments haven’t lit any more fires under that either. So thank you to that, and I’m going to be grateful for that.
SPEAKER 06 :
You know what? I’m glad you said that. I was going to get into that today a little bit as well. So you brought us there anyway. So I agree with that and everything that has happened up to this point. So I think also, though, Jake, because I was reading some of this even prior to the election results where some of the folks on the left were saying, listen, I was involved in some of those protests. I was the leader of some of those protests, you know, back then. And the reality is I’m retired. I’ve moved on. I’m not doing that any longer. I don’t think the machine works. Right. And there’s two other things I’ll add to it. First is.
SPEAKER 18 :
He was president already, Donald Trump. So as much as they’ve tried to ratchet up the rhetoric about how horrible it’s going to be, there’s a critical mass of people who might be bystanders at one of these kinds of protests or wouldn’t call the cops about something going on who won’t do that now. So that’s one thing. The second thing is we saw last night there were two semi-violent protests, but it was just the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic protesters in Chicago and a smaller one in Philly. Now, that group is always ready to riot. That’s why they’re in it, by the way. It’s actually not even about anti-Semitism or Israel. They just like man. That’s right. They’re always up for chaos. But if they don’t get anyone else to join them, that’s going to be well taken care of. And second of all, I really think Donald Trump should, and he probably will, do like what Eisenhower did when he was elected in 1952 and he went to Korea as president-elect. He didn’t wait to get inaugurated. I absolutely think there’s going to be a good chance Donald Trump goes to the Middle East, goes to Ukraine, gets those negotiations rolling, and that will even take the air out of the tire of the anti-Israel protesters. So that will help, I think.
SPEAKER 06 :
I agree with you. In fact, I predicted prior to the win that he would have maybe not completely done, but he’ll have a solution and at least an answer as to a timeline on both of those by the time he gets inaugurated. That’s my prediction, Jake.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, and listen, a couple of realities people should know for anyone who’s pessimistic about what you just said. First off, let’s talk about Ukraine. If you think Vladimir Zelensky is upset that Donald Trump won the election, you’re completely wrong. He’s the happiest man in the world because if Biden and Harris had remained in power, he was locked into this war for the time being and maybe even for 10 years.
SPEAKER 24 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 18 :
Now he can really call it quits. He does not want to keep up with this. He’s got his money. He would be happy for this to end where it is right now. Believe me, believe me. And… Even since just the election of Donald Trump, two days ago, we have now seen some members of Hamas, some of the remaining leadership, start talking about peace. They know that it’s not going to be any good if their money from Iran dries up, which is very easy for Trump to do. He’s already just given a very big position in the transition team to a guy named Brian Hook, who engineered the strangling of Iran’s finances last time. So he ain’t kidding around. So that’s good. But I do think he should go. I think he should actually go and make his presence felt because that will keep the media focused on that as opposed to any kind of mayhem the Democrats want to try to create domestically. It’s got to take all the attention away from their scare tactics. They can’t be calling him fascist and Hitler while he’s making peace deals. That’s going to be really silly.
SPEAKER 06 :
Great point. No. And again, you’re saying it in a different way than I did, but I think he’ll get those things done. He’s he said that he would. And I really believe that he will, because despite what the left will paint him up to be, he is the least warmongering president in my lifetime.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, you know, there are so many similarities between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. And I know people think, oh, my God, that they couldn’t be more different. But former celebrity who got into politics. And I know for a fact that I’m friends with some people who worked in the Reagan administration. Obviously, they’re getting up in years, but I’m friends with some of those people. And I can tell you that secretly, you know, they say it privately. They hold the Bush, both Bush administrations in great disdain. because of all the wars they got us into. And Trump is very much in that mold. He really believes that avoiding war, even at sometimes a small cost, is really worth it in the end. And he would love to be able to do that. And I think Trump was truly gratified by the high numbers of votes he got from both the Muslim and the Jewish community. and i think the answer to that is it’s not even that much of a head-scratcher all he said basically was that you want arabs and jews to stop muslims and jews to stop killing each other vote for me notice he didn’t say the word genocide to anger the jewish side he didn’t say anything about terrorists to anger the Muslim side. He just said, let’s stop killing each other. There wasn’t anything factually wrong with that. I think that message really resonated, along with small business and education.
SPEAKER 06 :
Absolutely. Yeah, you know, before the election, I had said the same thing. I’m like, listen, this guy resonates with the small business end of things, which a lot of the groups you just talked about are in that. And these guys, like myself, I’m a small business owner as well. I understand the difference in the two things going on. And I can tell you one thing, it’s a whole lot easier to do business under Donald Trump than it is the other.
SPEAKER 18 :
That’s right. I mean, look, this is the same Muslim community that had to protest their school board. There’s another issue, the cultural issue.
SPEAKER 02 :
Right.
SPEAKER 18 :
Their school board’s forcing trans and other gays into the curriculum, which they didn’t want. And so it’s not really much of a head scratcher. Actually, you know what? I really hope, John, that this election kills off. I’m not crazy enough to think it’ll happen, but I wish it would kill off all of the demographic discussions about politics, all of the identity politics. You know, we’re parsing through these numbers. It’s enough. The reason why he won is not because he pandered or appealed to any one ethnic group. It was because not wanting inflation, wanting a secure border, wanting to end the wars, and wanting to keep boys out of the girls’ locker room, hey, surprise, surprise, that resonates over every culture and every demographic group in this country. Just have a good campaign. Have a clear common-sense message. Stop pandering to people. I’m so sick of the – there’s a big industry in this country trying to sell to corporations and politicians alike – a snake oil of, hey, I’ll get the black vote for you, I’ll get the Latino vote for you, I’ll get the woman’s vote for you. No, how about you just put out a good product, whether you’re a company or a politician, and everyone will like it. How about that?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, and in the end, Jake, and I did say this, and I believe this wholeheartedly, what you just said is what resonated the most with male voters in general across the board. Doesn’t matter their background, their ethnicity, or anything else, or even their age, but it resonated with male voters in general, and that’s what won him the election.
SPEAKER 18 :
Of course. It’s sad that it didn’t cross over to more women. Women were obviously spooked by the abortion issue, even though really there’s no state in the union that outlaws abortion in every instance. It’s so crazy. But I can understand. Listen, that’s a very loaded issue, and people have been insane about that issue for a long time and had a hard time figuring things out. I don’t think men are smarter than women in any way. If there were a similar issue that affected men, you know, we’d probably be crazy about it, too. So, okay, fine. Although abortion really is a man’s issue. It’s the greatest thing that ever happened to irresponsible men. I wish more people would realize it’s a man’s freedom, not a woman’s freedom. A woman is never actually free from a pregnancy. That’s ridiculous. But that’s another issue we can talk about. So, yes, I think it was just a common sense message. It’s wrong to call it conservatism. It’s even wrong to call it Trumpism. It’s neither one of those things. It’s just simple common sense and the defeat of a party that absolutely sold out common sense. They really sold their souls. I really don’t know what they got for it, but it wasn’t worth it.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, you’re more of a political strategist than I am. Will the Democrats learn anything from this and go back to the drawing board and reinvent some things, or will they just keep on with the same rhetoric in the next election?
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, we’re at a very interesting moment in American history right now because it’s very clear that the Democrats, John, are in a decision-making process right now. They are clearly not sure yet which way they’re going to go. We had a couple of dopes here in New York, Kathy Hochul and Letitia James, who have already come out with statements yesterday saying they’re willing to reprise the 2016 to 2020 madness to go into full nutcase mode, full rejectionist mode, no deals, nothing other than anxiety and pain. And there’s a lot of other Democrats who haven’t yet spoken up yet. And I think they’re trying to figure out, can they do something where they win something for their constituents, win something for their states, without having to say, hey, we went too far in friendship to Donald Trump? And obviously column B is what we want, because column C isn’t happening where they really, really work in concert with him. That’s never going to happen. Let’s not be crazy. They’re in decision mode right now. And I think one of the things that’s one of their problems is that there are a lot of probably leaders in the Democratic Party who realize column B is the right way to go, but they don’t know if they have the base support for it. There’s only a couple of John Fettermans out there who can be that realistic for them. They don’t have a Joe Manchin anymore. And I don’t know if they have the voters and the donors who would get behind them for that. So they may be saying, hey, we know this is the right path, but we won’t have the financial and the political support among our own party to do it. But I hope that they say, you know what? let’s try to grow it organically from here on. Let’s try to get something done here. Let’s not burn the country down again like we did for the last four years. But it’s sad that they’re even debating this because they’re clearly in debate mode right now. And I’m very, very anxious to see what they’re going to choose. I think they’ll make their choice within a week or so. Within a week or so, we’ll know.
SPEAKER 06 :
We’ll know. Okay. All right. We’ll have you back when that happens. Jake, as always, I appreciate it. How do folks find you?
SPEAKER 18 :
jakenovac.substack.com for a lot of daily stuff. And always, the Twitter X feed is a great place to be, at Jake Jake NY. A lot of stuff there all the time.

SPEAKER 03 :
Putting reason into your afternoon drive, this is John Rush.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, a lot of you don’t watch The View. I don’t either. But I’ve got a longer clip today that I’m going to go ahead and play from The View. It’s about 11 minutes. I might not play all of it, and I’ll talk in between, so it might take me a segment or two to do this. But back to Jake’s comments about The Left. And where do they go from here? And do they regroup? And if so, how? And so on. And I understand this is just a group of women, six of them in this case. They’re not politicians. They don’t have a lot of say in what happens inside of the Democrat Party. But I think… Personally, and maybe I’m wrong in this, but I think personally, they speak for a lot of folks in the Democrat Party. And I don’t think I’m wrong in saying that. I think a lot of these women on The View actually do speak for a lot of Democrats. They are the, I believe, number one daily talk show in America. Sad to say, but they are the number one talk show in America. These six ladies, it’s not always six. I think sometimes they bring extras in. Normally, is it just six, Charlie, or is it four, or what is it normally? Five plus a guest. Okay, so five to six of them. And I do think, and Charlie, I don’t think I’m wrong. I think they do speak for a lot of Democrats and the party itself. Thank you. That’s why it’s called The View, Charlie just said. Yeah, one view. Because really, they’re pretty unified in their view. Although in this case, you’ll hear some differences of opinions on this. Now, I may stop and talk in between some of the different ladies that are speaking, and I’ll be the first to tell you, I’m sorry to say, I don’t know every single person on The View. I don’t watch it. I know Whoopi Goldberg. I know Joy Behar, the gal that used to be with Trump’s camp or Trump’s Alyssa. What’s her last name, Charlie? She was a part of the Trump team in 2016. And I don’t know why she’s not anymore, but it is what it is. And yeah, Anna Navarro. And I don’t know her that well. I just know her from The View in Sunny Hostins. OK. And there was one other lady in this particular group. You’ll hear them speak. And I’m going to play these, and I may stop and talk again. It might take us a couple of segments to do this because it’s 12 minutes long, but let’s go ahead and at least get started. Here we go.
SPEAKER 14 :
So what happened last night? Anybody do anything interesting? Okay. The 2024 presidential race ended yesterday, and this is what the country and the world woke up to this morning. Take a look.
SPEAKER 05 :
This was a movement like nobody’s ever seen before. And Frankly, this was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time. And now it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal. We have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We’re going to fix our borders. We’re going to fix everything about our country. America’s future will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than it has ever been before. God bless you and God bless America. Thank you very much.
SPEAKER 14 :
How do you feel?
SPEAKER 16 :
I’ll start. Go ahead. My takeaway is that the system works. We live in a democracy.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, I’ve got to stop. I get so tired of hearing that. From both sides, by the way. But the left does it on purpose because, as I’ve said many times, they know that if they can force-feed that word enough into the vocabulary of Americans, we can become one. And that’s the first step towards becoming a Marxist-Communist nation. We have to become a democracy first. Or we can’t get there. And for all of you that don’t understand what I mean by that, we are not a democracy. Most of my listeners know that. We are a constitutional republic. We are not a democracy. In fact, our framers were very astute and very upfront about making sure that we were not, are not, a democracy. So, no, Joy, you’re wrong. We are not a democracy.
SPEAKER 16 :
People spoke. This is what people wanted. I vehemently disagree with the decision that Americans made.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, and really quick, Joy, that’s your right to do. I’ll never take that right away from somebody. They may not agree with what happens in a particular election. I don’t always agree with what happens in a particular election. I don’t like what happened in Colorado when it came to the abortion amendment. I now have my tax dollars going to pay for somebody else’s abortion to kill the unborn that I don’t believe in at all. But to her point, the voters voted.
SPEAKER 16 :
But I feel very, very hopeful that we have a democratic system in this country. We should value it. We should love it. We should protest if the situation arises that we need to protest, which I’m sure it will. I’ve been through this before.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, I got to stop there for a moment because subtly what she’s saying is if there’s a time even down the road that we need to rise up, then we should. Now, I don’t disagree with that. We have the right to protest in this country, if done correctly. Doesn’t mean we burn down cities or vandalize buildings or steal merchandise from, you know, certain businesses and so on. If we want to peacefully protest, that’s our right to do so.
SPEAKER 16 :
With Nixon, it’s been very difficult. But boy, oh boy, do we have a country if we can keep it. Yeah. Well, um…
SPEAKER 06 :
And by the way, we just made great steps in keeping it joy, despite what you might think.
SPEAKER 12 :
The sentiments, Joy, one of the first thing I wanted to say for anyone that needs an example of when the person you voted for does not win, you do not say the system must be broken or that it was rigged. You say it is what it is and you show up anyway.
SPEAKER 06 :
Now that’s a jab at Trump and a lot of followers back in 2020, because they didn’t want to accept the results of that election. So what she’s doing right there is poking the eye of a lot of those individuals at that time. Make sure that you guys are hearing this correctly.
SPEAKER 12 :
I commend all those people that voted, because you sometimes hear people say, well, it didn’t matter. No, it did matter. That was still your currency. That was still your power. And people churned out. Now, if you didn’t vote, you really don’t have a say in the conversation. So you can go ahead and sit down. But for the rest of you, and then a lot of what… I think about is what I always tell my kids when things go on. You feel what you feel. Everyone has different emotions. Some people got what they wanted. A lot of people didn’t. And you feel anything that comes up, and then you turn around and you say, let’s look at the tapes. Let’s see what we did. Let’s see how we continue to fight for the people that we care about. And you take one step in front of the other. And so here we are today. And I still feel that optimistic because I feel arm in arm with so many people who agree with me. And I’m not going to stop marching.
SPEAKER 06 :
So I’m going to stop for a moment there as well. Again, I can’t disagree with her, but I think what she and some of the others are missing and started off this way with. Whoopi Goldberg actually saying the will of the people spoke loud and clear. But yet now you’ve got different individuals inside of this six member panel, quote unquote, or the view basically saying it really she’s making it sound like they’re the majority. And those of us that voted for Trump are the minority. It’s actually the opposite. And it’s OK that she’s saying there’s other people out there like her. Yes, there is. But I hope they realize they’re in the minority. They aren’t in the majority. They’re now the minority because the majority spoke. And that’s why Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States.
SPEAKER 08 :
This is Alissa, who used to be in the Trump administration at one time. Oh, but we live in a democracy. I have my vote.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, one more time. No, we don’t. But you can see what their side does. That name, that word continues to perpetuate all of their vocabulary because it’s it’s what they want you to hear. I want you guys all to understand that. And if you’re out there in our world talking ever, please take that word out of your vocabulary unless you use it like I do, because we do not live in a democracy.
SPEAKER 08 :
Millions of people cast their votes did. And what’s important to me is this. Tens of millions of Americans, our friends, our neighbors, our family members, voted for Donald Trump. We disagree with him. I know we all do at this table. But they are good, decent people who are patriots and love this country. And I can’t speak to what drove them to the conclusion of being with him. But I think it is a moment for us to listen. to each other, to hear each other, express what our concerns are, I’ve spent the last four years doing that, and also listen to people who are with him because this is a country that there is truly more that unites us than divides us. I know it doesn’t feel like that for many people in this moment, but we need to bring down the temperature, the name-calling, the demonizing, let the other side, you know, if they want to do that, they can do it, but I think It is a moment to listen to the voters. And this, I have to say, I’ve always thought he could win. I thought in the final stretch he might eke it out. I didn’t expect it to be this resounding, and I think there are some lessons from it. I think we forget about rural America. I think the working class feels left behind. They feel like the powerful, the elite, only care about them and their power. And he spoke to them. We may not have liked his words, but they turned out for him. I mean, the map was… It was beyond Reagan, what we saw last night. And I think… We need to start listening more about.
SPEAKER 06 :
Joy said not really. Actually, Joy. Yes, it was. If you look at all of the individual counties, even you drill down, which, by the way, was hard to do. Technologically speaking, back in the days of Reagan, if you look at the actual map and you look today and if it ends up being that Nevada and Arizona both go for Trump. Yes, indeed. That’s exactly what it looks like.
SPEAKER 08 :
with everyday Americans who feel like this system is failing. When Reagan won, I remember the whole map was red.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah. It was pretty red last night. I don’t know. I’m profoundly disturbed. I think if you look at the New York Times this morning, the headline was America makes a perilous choice. I think that in 2016, we didn’t know what we would get from a Trump administration, but we know now. And we know now that he will have almost unfettered power. And so I worry.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, time out. Unfettered power. She’s making it sound like Donald Trump will be a dictator. We have lots of checks and balances in this country. So please, this is another one of those where if you’re out talking to anybody and you hear this kind of verbiage going on, you have to correct it. because we do have a lot of checks and balances. Like I told all of you on Tuesday, that if the other side won, we’d have the same checks and balances. So I want to make sure that, you know, you guys, as you’re out there around the water cooler, talking to family, friends, you might even be a student and you’re talking to other students and so on. You have to make sure that you’re able to correct that language in the proper way, because what this particular lady, and I don’t know who’s talking, Charlie might know from the voice, But I don’t know who this lady is, but she’s a thousand percent wrong in the things that she’s saying. She’s speaking emotionally, not factually.
SPEAKER 15 :
Not about myself, actually. I don’t worry about my station in life. I worry about the working class. I worry about my mother, a retired teacher. I worry about our elderly and their Social Security and their Medicare. I worry about my children’s future, especially my daughter, who now has less rights than I have.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, another out and out lie. She’s making it sound like anybody of color today has less rights than she did when she was growing up. Nothing, and I mean nothing, could be farther from the truth. Everything from affirmative action on down tells her she’s a liar. She’s flat out lying to the American public in front of millions of people that are watching this particular program and, like me, are probably watching it after the fact because She’s 100 percent a liar.
SPEAKER 15 :
And I remember my father telling me many, many years ago that I was the first person in his family to enjoy full civil rights. And now I have less civil rights than I had.
SPEAKER 06 :
Again, I don’t know how she can say this with a straight face. And believe what she’s saying. I guess that old adage of if you tell a lie long enough, you’ll believe it yourself. Evidently, this is her because nothing and I mean nothing could be farther from the truth.
SPEAKER 15 :
…told me that. So again, I’m profoundly disturbed that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution did not prevent someone who participated in an insurrection from… Okay, got to stop again there.
SPEAKER 06 :
Wasn’t an insurrection. There were some people that day that did things I personally wouldn’t have done. On the same token, they did. Was it an insurrection? No. No one was even charged with insurrection. Some were charged with trespassing, breaking, entering, and so on. And that will be the other good thing that I think comes out of this that Trump hasn’t talked about, and I’m glad he didn’t because I think it was something that wouldn’t have helped his campaign. But I would venture to guess that those people will get pardoned very quickly after Trump takes over, and they should. And frankly, we should pay restitution to a lot of them that have been in jail over something that, frankly, they shouldn’t be in the first place. Did some people do some dumb things that day? Yes. Was it an insurrection? The farthest thing from it. So I’ll finish up with her. We’ll take a break and then I’ll come back and do the second half of this. Let me go and get her finished up.
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m the president of the United States. I think that going forward, the convicted felon box on employment applications better be taken off because if you can be the president of the United States, then you should not be prevented from employment in this country because I remember applying for my jobs as a federal prosecutor and there was a box for convicted felons. Well, and so that box better better be taken off. And I think our health care system is now at risk. I think no fluoride for anyone. Yeah. Economists have made clear.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, and she’s making fun now of JFK or RFK Jr., I should say, on the fluoride thing, which, again, we’ve talked about that even on health and wellness on Wednesdays and so on. You know, Joy, you can make an off-the-cuff comment along those lines, but the reality is, and we were talking about it with Steve House the last hour, those are things that we should actually look further into. And some people should be—we should be very worried about these things, because there are studies out there that show that these things are not good for our health, especially for our young children. So, absolutely, these things we should be looking at, Joy. All right, I’m going to take a break. I’ll come back. I’ll play the second half. I’m about halfway through. That were five— 54 out of 1138, so I’m halfway through. We’ll come back here in a moment. I’ll finish playing that. Golden Eagle Financial is next. SPEAKER 10 :
Now, back to Rush to Reason, presented by Hi-5 Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right, in case you tuned in a little bit late, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. I’m playing the day after the election, so this would be yesterday, about 12 minutes or so, 11 and a half minutes of The View. It was the opening monologue, I guess you would call it, of The View, which is the most popular daytime show. Most of you have heard of The View. I would doubt highly if most haven’t. They’re a bunch of wackadoodles, but that’s a whole other conversation. And I shouldn’t say all. They’ll bring some guests on at times. In fact, there’s been some folks that have been on that are very straightforward, that literally call on the carpet a lot of the things that they all get to babbling about. They may not like it. The problem is it’s usually one against four or five. when it’s that particular individual on there, and that’s always hard to do. But there’s been some very prominent people, conservatives, that have gone on there and have done very well one against five. But we’re about halfway through. Let me continue on.
SPEAKER 15 :
that he’s going to increase the debt by $7.75 trillion.
SPEAKER 06 :
By the way, she’s reading some statements that are incorrect, and some of those statements are coming from people that believe tariffs are bad and they will have a bad effect upon the economy and therefore raise the debt and so on. Now, I’ll be the first to admit, and I’ve said this numerous times, it’s one of the things I think Donald Trump’s got to be very, very careful of in this particular round versus the last time, is he’s not thrifty. Donald Trump is a debt guy. He’ll use it to his advantage. The problem is, as a country, we’ve got way too much and we’ve got to get that cut back. Now, some of the things that he’s doing as we speak is getting together with the likes of Elon Musk and putting a coalition together where literally they’re going to look at where is the wasteful spending in D.C. and how do we cut some of this out so that we’ve got either more funds to work with or we just flat out cut expenses, period, things that we don’t need in general. So she’s She’s by the way, again, this is a bold faced lie that she’s not checked into. In fact, checked.
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m worried about mass deportation and internment camps. And I’m also worried.
SPEAKER 06 :
Internment camps. Nowhere ever has Donald Trump talked about internment camps. By the way, they wouldn’t happen. Legally, can’t happen. That’d be one of the first things that his administration would get called on the carpet for if, in fact, he even suggested we do that. No, what Donald Trump, I believe, will do, we’ll talk more about this in the weeks ahead, but one of the things I do believe he’ll do when it comes to deportation is those that are here illegally, that are criminals, and have a criminal record, yes, you should go home. I have no problem with that. We’ll deal with everybody else secondarily. But let’s take care of the criminals first. If you’re here, you’re part of a gang. You’re part of MS-13. You know, you’re a part of the criminal gang that’s down here in Aurora taking over apartment complexes. Yeah, you should be deported immediately. So, yes, that should happen right off the bat.
SPEAKER 15 :
Elon Musk warning Americans to prepare for temporary hardship.
SPEAKER 06 :
You know, I think that any time there’s a regime, you know, there’s a administration regime change, call it what you want. You could very well have some temporary hardship because things are going to change. It’s not going to be the way it was. Now, I say all that to say that the last couple of days of the stock market would say otherwise. And some of the businesses that I consult, I will tell you this, the day after, so yesterday, some of my businesses that I consult with saw an immediate uptick in business yesterday. One day. So that’s not completely true, and I get where Elon’s coming from, because he knows that when changes are made, even in a business like he did with Twitter, you might see some disruptions right off the bat, and yes, that could be a little bit painful.
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m surprised at the result, but I’m not surprised. As a woman of color, I was so hopeful that… Okay, I just got to add this.
SPEAKER 06 :
Why does that matter? You’re a woman of color. What difference does that make? Why does that matter in the grand scheme of all the things that she’s discussing, by the way? It shouldn’t make any difference whatsoever. And I will go on record as saying this because I know this to be true. Donald Trump will be the least and is the least racist president you’ll ever find. That I can guarantee you. I’ve known enough people that have known him and that are close to him that he is the least racist of any individual out there, period.
SPEAKER 15 :
This woman married to a Jewish guy could be elected president of this country. And I think that it had nothing to do with policy. I think this was a referendum of cultural resentment in this.
SPEAKER 06 :
So incorrect. They ran the lowest IQ woman they could find. Yes, she had a Jewish husband. Yes, she’s a woman of mixed race. But again, I go back to what I asked a moment ago. Why does any of that matter? And evidently to the people that voted, it didn’t. And no, this wasn’t any kind of a referendum against her being mixed-race married to a Jew. Sorry, I don’t know who this lady is, but I’m sorry to inform you, you’re, again, a thousand percent wrong in your thought process.
SPEAKER 17 :
Well, I think it… I think it has to do with a lot of things, that being one of them. I’m obviously very disappointed. I’m very sad. I was at the Kamala Harris headquarters yesterday in Washington, and it was a very sad scene. The mood turned immediately.
SPEAKER 06 :
So this is Navarro, a former Republican strategist.
SPEAKER 17 :
And I tell you, there’s a quote I get a lot of inspiration from, and it’s a quote that I read when I was reading about John F. Kennedy. And it says, whether I am on the winning or the losing side is not the point with me. It is being on the side where my sympathies lie that matters. And that to me brought me consolation and inspiration this morning because I have no regrets. I worked hard as hell to elect the first black Asian woman president.
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, again, I got to stop. Why does that matter? Is this the only thing that this particular individual, Kamala Harris, had going for her? We should have elected her because of what Navarro just said. Even though she brought nothing of value to the table and American voters spoke loudly and said, you’re bringing us no value. You’re not going to help change my life for the better. So why should I vote for you? Oh, because you’re a mixed race woman. I should now vote for you. No, Miss Navarro. That’s not how this works. That isn’t the only reason why somebody should vote for Kamala Harris. And I’m glad they didn’t.
SPEAKER 17 :
History slipped through our fingers again. I worked hard as hell for Donald Trump not to be president. But today, unlike Donald Trump and his followers, I acknowledge that he won. I hope for the best for our country. And I make a commitment to our LGBTQ, to our immigrants, to our elderly, to our young girls, to the women, that we will not stop fighting. We can be sad today. Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, and again, as I said earlier, keep fighting. That’s fine. I’m not sure what you’re fighting for. You make it sound like all of these individuals that you just mentioned are somehow downtrodden. They’re not. In fact, in a lot of cases, they have more rights than I do. I’m a 60-year-old white guy. If I went in to apply for certain jobs, I’m unemployable today because I’ve been self-employed for so long that I’m unemployable, but let’s just say I was going to go in and apply for a job as a 60-year-old white male against any of these ladies, by the way, on this panel or any of the people that they’ve mentioned, people of color, LGBTQ, female, young. Guys, I’m outnumbered. I’m not getting hired. I don’t meet the DEI qualifications, which hopefully changes, but unlike these ladies, I’m unhirable. And I know that. Is that correct? I think I bring a lot of things to the table that a lot of others don’t with my life experience. And no offense, I can outwork anyone. And yes, I mean that sincerely. And you all know that because you know the hours I already work. And I’m not bragging when I say that. I just, I was raised that way. I’ve taught my kids the same way. If you want to get ahead in this world, outwork the next guy. I may not be the smartest guy in any room, and I usually am not, but I can outwork anybody in the room. But even with that, because of what these ladies are saying, I am unemployable. I’ve got to keep going.
SPEAKER 17 :
we can be sad tomorrow we stand up and we continue we have every right as americans because we love this country because this is the most exceptional country in the world we have the right and the duty to speak up and denounce abuses of power to be vigilant and so i invite all americans to do it but we are doing what they didn’t do we are recognizing they won now let’s
SPEAKER 06 :
OK, I’m going to have to close out with that because there’s a few more minutes left, but they kind of keep saying the same thing. Now, what I will say, and Andy said this yesterday, because somebody asked, what are they going to do moving forward when it comes to this transfer of power? Are they going to throw a monkey wrench into it? Andy was right. No, you heard him even say this. And again, are they speaking for all Democrats? I think they’re speaking for a lot. No, they’re going to be model citizens in the transfer of power. They’re going to use that to their advantage in the next election. They’re already prepping for the next election and what they’re saying there. I hope you all know that. So I’ll stop there. I can talk more in the next hour. American National Insurance is next. Make sure that all of your insurance is dialed in right now. Give Paul Leuenberger, my good friend, a call today, 303-662-0789.

All right, we’ll be right back. Hour number three is next, and I’m going to do the opposite of the view. I’ve got a clip from Gutfeld that I will play that you’ll find to be the opposite of what I just played a moment ago. Don’t go anywhere. Hour three is next. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 1 :
I’m a rich guy.
