First of all, that is the ultimate in coward, right? I mean, the only thing worse is doing it with a kid, right? And then he has to lure firefighters who are real men and women, by the way, and he has to lure them in and have them busy fighting a fire so he can take shots.

Okay. Glad he’s dead. That’s that’s what I have to say. Glad he’s dead. I know I’m a heartless person. Don’t care. Glad he’s dead. OK, I want to talk a little bit about something Trump is doing, and this is involving illegal immigration. OK, illegal immigrants. But rather than just throwing all of them out, he wants to help a segment of them stay. Did you hear about this before I mentioned it?
SPEAKER 03 :
No, I did not. First time hearing about it.
SPEAKER 07 :
All right. Well, because there’s a big concern. And I had been saying, you know, we have Jordan Goodman. I’m sorry. I was thinking Jordan Peterson. We have Jordan Goodman on once a month. And he was very concerned. He says… My gosh, if we have mass deportations, what are they going to do for farm workers when they’ve got the harvest coming in this fall? What are they going to do in a number of the hotels for housekeepers and so forth? I’ve got to say this first. I’m really getting sick and tired of the left wanting to have slaves. But it’s true, isn’t it? Because look what they want. They talk in these terms. We want people to do these jobs that we don’t want to do.
SPEAKER 19 :
That Americans don’t want to do.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right. First of all, a lot of Americans do want to do jobs that you think that they don’t want to do. Remember that meatpacking plant? They went in. Trump administration goes in. They clean out a bunch of illegal immigrants. The next day, they got people lining up out the door wanting jobs. Americans. Okay. So first of all, don’t be assuming that Americans won’t do anything, okay? I think that’s ridiculous. And besides which, the very first thing we’ve got to do is get a lot of Americans off the dole, off food stamps, off of Medicaid, off of a lot of these things, and get them back to work. I see you two come in every day, bust your tails, you and Charlie. I don’t know why you guys should be paying for other people to sit on their butts.

SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, that’s ridiculous. So first of all, get Americans back to work, and the big, beautiful bill does that, which I love. You know, we got to get these people off Medicaid. OK, well, yeah, because half the people on Medicaid roughly is what I’m hearing are people who have jobs, but their employer gets to save money on their health care. Why? Because they just go on Medicaid instead and they don’t pay the money for their health care through their employer. And that’s great for their employer. So their employer and that person are subsidized by me and you. That’s ridiculous. If you’ve got a job, use your employer’s health care. You should be off Medicaid. Anyway, setting all of that aside. But the only reason I mention it is because those are draws for illegal immigration. Right. They come in and get all these freebies. Here’s something Trump is doing. He was told, OK, look. So many of the workers, though, right now in these industries are here illegally. Okay? And do they deserve to stay? No, they do not. They invaded a country. They deserve to go. We get it. But Trump’s looking at it like this. When they invaded the country, were they thinking America first? Nope. No.
SPEAKER 19 :
Selfishness.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right. But even if they wanted a good life for themselves, that’s still not thinking about America.
SPEAKER 19 :
Right.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. They didn’t come here in hopes of making America a more wonderful place. Right. They came here to get what they can get. And some of them in even bad ways, gangs and so forth, you know, fentanyl. But… Those who came, you know, Trump is looking and saying, I’m going to put America first. And part of America is the farmers. Part of America is the people running these hotels. These are Americans. And these people are saying, look, We would love to have Americans come and do these jobs. We would. We don’t have enough. And besides which, we’ve got another big thing coming. Trump has just created $7 to $10 trillion in new investment in America. We’re going to have too many jobs, and we have a declining birth rate. We don’t have enough people to do these jobs. We need the manpower. See where I’m going with this?
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. So here’s what Trump wants to do. He wants to, he is, it says here, President Donald Trump, I’m quoting from town hall, is reportedly working on a temporary pass program that would allow tax paying illegal immigrant workers, particularly those employed by farms in the hospitality industry to remain in the U.S. legally for work purposes. even if they entered the country unlawfully. Under the proposal, the decision would rest with American employers. Once again, America first. Our needs come first, not you. If we need you and you’re doing a great job, here’s how it goes. The American employer can say, you know, I’m going to sponsor this person. This person’s doing a great job. They came the wrong way. We’re not going to reward that. They go to the back of the line in terms of citizenship. They get a temporary visa. They are here temporarily. They’re not in a gang. They’re not one of these people shooting, you know, delivering fentanyl and shooting up streets. This person came here the wrong way for the right reasons. So what’s their punishment? They go to the back of the line. They’re not going to become citizens anytime soon. OK, that’s their punishment. But what’s their reward? Because they’ve done it the right way. We keep them. They serve America’s interests and they pay taxes and they don’t just soak off the system. What do you guys think? Luke, you go first.

I think it sounds good, I’ll say. It’s not – because that’s one of the things when you’re talking about mass deportation in any quantity, right? Removing that volume of people from the workforce, even though people coming in and people wanting to work, is going to create issues, right? You’re going to get some road bumps there.

Sure.
SPEAKER 03 :
So I think this is – I think this is an agreeable middle ground is how I think I’d phrase it. It feels reasonable on paper.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay.

Now, I think, you know, obviously a lot of the sort of stress comes from implementing it appropriately. But like I said, on paper, I think it sounds very agreeable.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, yeah, here’s the big thing. Unlike Biden’s immigrant, you know, the flood, the invasion, these people then are going to be vetted. They’re going to pay taxes. They’re going to be vetted. Okay. Just because you’re really good at working for this guy doesn’t mean we’re going to keep you when you have terrorist ties. I’m sorry. Okay. You see what I mean? So fully vetted, pay taxes, not living off the system, contributing to the system, putting America’s needs first. Tanner, what do you think?
SPEAKER 19 :
I think I agree with Luke. I think in the grand scheme of things, it does kind of feel like a little bit middle ground. But at the same time, the Democrats don’t really care about them. I think they rather have as many illegals as possible. Who knows what their true rhyme or reason is for that? But, I mean, yeah, hotel workers, even people that come into our building and clean the bathrooms, all the trash cans, and this is only 13 stories in one little building, but that goes on across the whole country, having people come in late at night just to clean and stuff. So I think as long as, you know… We’re not shipping them all out. Plus, I mean, they can have work visas going back and forth, too. And by the way, a work visa… We don’t even have to keep them here, per se.
SPEAKER 07 :
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s temporary.
SPEAKER 19 :
They can go back and forth across San Diego border. They used to… I mean, growing up, the housekeepers we had would do that every day. Or every, you know, once or twice a week, depending on what the schedule was. But… I think in the long run it should work out pretty well. I would start. Unfortunately, they didn’t start only with the criminals in the country. I think a lot of people thought, let’s go criminals first, and then we’ll start deporting people that came illegally. But, I mean, if you can do it all in one swoop, what’s the bad?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, what they did, and Tom Holman goes into this, they targeted the criminals first.
SPEAKER 19 :
Right.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. And so if a state is not a sanctuary state, Right. And they’re working together with ICE. That means that all ICE has to do is go to the state, notifies ICE that we have somebody in custody. And all ICE has to do is go and get that person who has committed whatever crime and then remove them from the country. The way they’re picking up a lot of other people is because mainly in states that are sanctuary states like ours, they go into a whole area. They bust a whole business. They bust a whole. They go into a community. They go into a neighborhood. Why? Because the state isn’t just turning them over so they can do it safely. So they have to go in numbers. And at that point, you’re rounding up people and you’re checking all of their numbers. Right. You see, because the Trump administration, their goal is definitely to target the people who are an imminent threat. Why? Because they only got so many ICE officers. They only got so much manpower.
SPEAKER 19 :
Right, and you don’t want crimes to continue to repeat themselves.
SPEAKER 07 :
And by the way, I don’t know if you noticed, but in a number of jurisdictions, crimes are going down. Crime is going down. It’s on the decline.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, I’m sure they’re also worried that if I commit a crime, no matter how big it is, and I’m an illegal, they’re going to kick me out of here.
SPEAKER 07 :
Exactly.
SPEAKER 19 :
Instead, they’re probably in hiding now.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah. Look, I agree with Luke. I think this is a good middle ground, but it’s got to be very carefully done because the most important thing to me is this. I don’t want… Us to do this while still letting millions of Americans sit at home on their butts collecting checks and food stamps without working.
SPEAKER 09 :
Right.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. I don’t want us to suck all these Americans out of the workplace and just replace them with immigrants. And they wouldn’t be illegal immigrants anymore because they’d be on a legal visa. They’d be legal. Okay. Because they’d be serving our needs. America first. Not their needs first. Our needs first. They would simply benefit from it. That’s fine. But I think along the reason I like the program is this, because it’s coming at the same time that Congress is redoing Medicaid and welfare.
SPEAKER 09 :
Right.
SPEAKER 07 :
And saying that you got to work 20 you got to work 20 hours a week for welfare. You’ve got to at least put in 20 hours a week if you’re going to get welfare help. You’ve got to start helping. You’ve got to start kicking in. You’ve got to start pitching.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, yeah, the fact that there’s Americans out there that think living here is just a freebie, like I’ve seen a million TikToks, Reels, whatever, of people like, oh, now because Trump’s elected, we finally have to work. It’s like, well, I’m only 26, let alone these people are in their 40s and haven’t worked a decade just because they’ve been living off Medicare.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, that’s ridiculous. You know what really angers me is people who say that they’re kicking people off Medicaid. Everybody being taken off Medicaid is somebody who shouldn’t be on Medicaid. I mean, and you’ve heard the examples, haven’t you? Yeah, you’ve heard them, right, Luke? I mean, people who are basically just scamming the system. I’m just going to go on Medicaid, and that way I don’t have to pay for my medicine, and neither does my employer. My employer loves it. Heck, my employer might give me a raise.

I mean, this is ridiculous, and it’s all funded by the taxpayer.
SPEAKER 09 :

SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, we’re going to cut them off Medicaid. Okay, so if we take away all these freebies and we get more Americans back to work first, right, I would then look at a system like Donald Trump is now talking about wanting to help these industries, and I would say, okay, I’m okay with that. You know, I’m fine with that. And by the way, that means fewer people that ICE has to go after, which would be nice for them. What do you think?

Sound good? I think so. Okay. We’re awfully agreeable today. I didn’t know this would go by you guys.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, like I said, talking about that in particular feels like an agreeable kind of middle ground approach. I think the issues arise on the extremes of let everyone in or kick everyone out without a consideration for the larger implication of those policies. Right. This feels like it is. taking, you know, inferences and kind of pulling strings from a little bit of all the directions and really considering the details. So, you know, it’s nice.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, it feels like America first. Now, those businesses never should have employed illegal immigrants, right? I get it. They shouldn’t have. Oh, one other thing that I do believe they’re going to be doing also is speeding up legal immigration.
SPEAKER 19 :
They should.

I mean, those people… Why are they waiting a decade?
SPEAKER 19 :
Those people got cut in the line four or five years of them waiting, probably.
SPEAKER 07 :
You know, and I think one thing that would, here’s one big reason, and then we’ll go to break. One big reason you’ve got to wait 10 years or whatever in line to become a citizen, right, is because of all the people cutting the line. You’ve got masses. Here you’ve got Biden letting in, you know, 15 million who are cutting the line, right? That just wrecks everything for legal immigrants. It slows everything way down because we’re dealing with all these other people. Oh, by the way, another thing Trump wants, you all got to learn English.

We’ve got to have a common language. You can still speak Spanish. That’s a beautiful language. Continue, by all means. But we need a common language, okay, so we can function. So, you know, you go to your job, you go into the supermarket, you go wherever, to the bank, and we can all function together. So basically, you’ve got to learn English, and you’ve got to do these.

Yeah, you’ve got to learn English, pass the test. We’ll help you. They’re going to set up programs.

And you’re seeing that amongst independents as MAGA is rising in Chicago just because of the incredible failure of this guy. Right. Well, Mondani and let’s see, what is his first name? Zoran.

OK. Zoran Mondani is a very eloquent guy. I will say that he is in terms of spinning a phrase, he’s the next Obama. And that makes him dangerous because a lot of people are dumb. It’s true. It’s part of life, folks. Come on. I’m dumb many times, okay? We all have dumb days, but a lot of people will vote. I mean, come on. We got Obama twice for president. We got Joe Biden for president. I mean, when I look at what these people did, there’s no excuses. You look at this and say, how could you vote for this stuff? Okay? Now, Mondani, he backs things like this. He wants to, and I’m quoting here, tax richer, whiter neighborhoods. He literally calls out their race. Okay, well, let’s do this in reverse. What if I were to say, I want to attach, I want to raise taxes on blacker neighborhoods. Do you think anybody would be making excuses for me? Nope. No. Oh, he’s just talking about, you know, leveling things. No. They would say I am a what? Racist. Yes. Thank you. What is Mamdani? A racist. Yeah. He’s a racist. He will not decry the global intifada, which is terrorism against Jews, folks. That’s kind of a bad thing. By the way, I don’t know if you know this. There are almost one million Jews in New York, in the greater New York area. Okay, it’s 900 and some odd thousand. And a lot of them actually also support this guy because there are a lot of very liberal Jews in New York. I look at these people. He wants to… Let’s see here. He wants government-run grocery stores. Think about that. Government-run grocery stores. Because I think the greatest thing in the world, what we’ve all needed is grocery stores who don’t have to compete. That’s going to be great. Okay, that’s going to be wonderful. What a paradise that’ll be. He wants to have government-funded basically everything. He wants to give illegals everything. Oh, he wants, he is literally going, he believes he’s going to literally stop ICE from coming. He’s going to keep them out of New York because they’re wrecking our neighborhoods by enforcing the law. You know, one thing that really gets me, just a little side note here. You’ve got all these Democrats talking about how, you know, our neighbors are getting disappeared and they’re coming in and they’re disrupting. They’re doing these terrible things. Two things. First of all, your neighbor was here illegally. They invaded a nation. Okay. And if Trump can come up with a better system, a middle ground that works better, that’s great. I’m all for it. But in the meantime, they invaded a nation. That’s kind of a bad thing. I’ve never done that. Okay. Luke, you ever invade a nation?

No, not to my knowledge. Tanner? Maybe. Maybe. You’re thinking of it. At the party we had in Mexico, maybe bordered on the invasion. That’s kind of… Okay, okay, okay.

Okay. But he wants to do all these things and they say, well, how are you going to pay for it? He says, I’m going to raise taxes on the rich. The rich are going to pay for it. And the rich.

They pay 41% of the taxes in that city.

Right. And the rich, by the way, in New York are already very liberal. Right. Because the conservative wealthy in New York left.

The Sean Hannity’s all moved to Florida. Okay. They moved. And now you’ve got a bunch of the remaining rich who have already come out and they’re signing things. They’re already coming out and saying, if he wins, we’re leaving. So here’s what I want to ask. I’ll put this to you first, Tanner. What do they do if they are actually stupid enough to elect this guy? What do they do? Who’s going to pay the bill? What happens next?

Yeah. Yeah. Because what are you going to do if you keep all the illegal immigrants there, but you remove all the wealthy people, and then I’m sure once he takes charge, his Marxism is going to start showing.

What you’re going to have is L.A.

Because L.A., at least L.A. still has a lot of the wealthy Hollywood types who will stay no matter what and pay those ludicrous taxes.

And help foot the bill for their idiocy. In New York, you don’t have Hollywood.

Okay, so who’s going to stay? Because the Wall Street people are saying we’re going to leave. You’re going to have way too few billionaires and millionaires. They’re footing all the bill. So if they’re gone, I think it’s going to fall apart. I think it’s going to be the next Canada. And the reason I say Canada is Trump is ready to burn them to the ground and trade.

OK, he told them they were going to impose a certain tax on our tech companies. OK, and Trump said, you do that. We shut down all trade negotiations. Let me tell you something. The trade negotiations with Canada are going bad for them anyway. They’re going to have to give, give, give, give, give. Why? Because Trump hates them. Why? Because they voted for their new leader just to spite Trump. And, you know, I’m sorry, that’s not going to go well. Okay. What is happening to Canada? Canada lives off the United States.

They do. They’re a leech on the United States. Well, New York is a leech on its rich people. Luke, what’s going to happen to New York if they do this? If they elect this guy who is a racist, who is an anti-Semite, and who wants to punish the rich at every turn, what are they going to have left?

Also, New York’s… A pot of all races, religions, creed, whatever it may be. There’s not a lot of, you know, just only rich white neighborhoods. I mean, it’s a very big melting pot. Like apartment complexes, yeah, you could have super wealthy white people. It would be super wealthy Mexicans, super wealthy Jews, super wealthy Europeans, whatever it may be. So you’re not just going to be taxing white people. Everyone’s going to have problems other than maybe Harlem and some of the not so great areas of the city.

Well, it’s not like everyone’s a racist. They keep thinking all these white Americans or Christians are racist. I’d be hard to find more than 3% of the white population that’s racist when every other race is also racist. The fact that it’s solely put on whites is mind-boggling.

I think people, you know what I see? I see young people, you know, teenagers today all going to school, all colors together in the same classroom, and they just want to like each other. It’s only one against the world. That’s right. I got a couple questions for you here. But first, I want to talk about an old topic that we’ve talked about before, but it’s going to be coming up at some point, and that is the Bronco Stadium. Are they really going to be dumb enough to keep it where it is, or are they going to be smart and move it out by the airport where they’ve got unlimited land, can put in all new easy access, and just make a big, beautiful facility and have just a huge entertainment facility? Or are they going to keep trying to make everybody drive through that hornet’s nest that is I-25 and 70 to get to a game?
SPEAKER 05 :
You know, Andy, I don’t think they will keep it there. but I don’t think they’re going to go out by the airport. I think there’s kind of been some conflicting stories, right? There’s one that came out a couple weeks ago, the Burnham Yards, which is kind of that old railroad that I think CDOT bought a few years ago. Where is that? It’s just a mile or so southeast of the stadium. I think it’s off of like 8th and I-25 roughly, Andy. And there’s a light rail station that’s near it, and there’s some kind of old rundown businesses. The biggest issue that I see, actually, with it that people aren’t talking about is there’s – essentially, they’re buying up a lot of – or there is an LLC. It has been confirmed by the Broncos, of course, buying up a lot of properties around the area. However, the issue is, Andy, in order to sort of maximize the site, you have to kind of buy the whole – quadrant there which actually if you were able to buy all of it it would basically double the size of the be the size of the current stadium even with parking lots and things like that however denver water built a brand new facility there just recently and that is something that i think is of Well, of minor importance, usually you don’t sell a brand-new building, right? Because obviously you buy the land, and then you put up this nice new building that Denver Water did. And granted, I’m sure they can move a lot of their infrastructure and stuff away, but it would be hard to do, Andy. So I still think, and there was more news this weekend that Nine News reported, that they had conversations with the loan tree. city, and I think that is probably the best site, Andy.

Now, Lone Tree sounds a lot better, Richard.

Keep going. I’m telling you, Andy, and because it would be, so it’s on the southeast corner of basically I-25 and Ridgegate, roughly, or I-25 and 470. Yeah.

Okay, now you got me thinking here, Richard. Sorry to bug in, but that makes sense. My problem is not with the quality of facility and amount of parking and everything that you get with a downtown location. I’m sure they can buy up enough. Let’s face it, they’re richer than God.

Okay, they can buy up enough and make it work. The problem is access.

OK, but down there, once you get out on the extremities, be it out toward the airport or down off Ridgegate, you know, because at that point you’re heading down toward Castle Rock. You got tons of lanes. You just got more lanes. OK, you got way better access. And here’s the big, beautiful thing about it, Richard. And then I’ll turn it over to you. You can build more lanes. It’s wide open. You’re not landlocked.
SPEAKER 05 :
That’s the thing, Andy. Well, and then on top of it, there you have, like I said, lots of lanes on I-25, which is great, right? And granted, you have that by the current stadium, but you have lots of lanes. You have E-470 going east. You have C-470 going west, right? So you’re told, non-told, lots of room area down there. They can expand it. And the biggest thing, Andy, and while I think you are correct with the lanes, is The biggest thing that I think people need to focus on is the Broncos and the Waltons, Walmart, are big on two things. owning land, and they’re also, you know, Cronky, right? Their cousin, distant cousin. They know, or cousin-in-law, I should say, whatever it is, but his wife is Walton. They know that it’s not as much the stadium that matters, right, Andy? It’s the entirety around the stadium that makes it key, right? It’s the shopping. It’s the district. It’s the entertainment. It’s the potential, you know, smaller concert venues to go along with the bigger concert venues. And ultimately, obviously, we all know what this is for, Andy, right? Which is you build a new stadium here in Denver, whether you want a retractable roof or just a full-time dome or whatever it might be, you’ve got to do something because it’s going to attract the Super Bowl. It’s going to attract the draft. It could attract a Final Four here. It darn near could attract a… college football playoff final, right, depending on if you do it right.
SPEAKER 07 :
Richard, I would do a retractable roof. Go all in. You’re the Waltons. You’re not beggars here.
SPEAKER 05 :
No, and that’s the thing, and I think the Waltons will do that. And it’s one of the things that I don’t want to say Bronco fans took for granted, but I think that we’re getting used to because with Pat Bowlen, and granted, he did a lot of great things for this franchise.
SPEAKER 01 :
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER 05 :
He kept them going. But we’ve talked about this on this program. He did not have the deepest pockets, and so he was reliant literally on PV checks for cash flow to be able to write signing bonuses and things like that, whereas the Waltons, they don’t need that, Andy, right? They have sort of an endless supply, and so they can make a beautiful stadium, right? I think the Rams stadium was… $5.5 billion or something all in. It would not surprise me if all in with the shopping and everything that they’re trying to do, once they start releasing renderings, if this thing ends up being an $8 billion stadium or the total complex. And they should spare no expense, Andy, because if they can make it a crown jewel, it will just only continue going up. Andy, we just saw, I know you like your NBA just as much as anyone does, and maybe we’ll talk about that here.

Yeah, but I’m a miserable Bucs fan, so my life is living hell.
SPEAKER 05 :
But keep going. But Andy, the Lakers just sold for an evaluation of $10 billion, and that did not include a stadium, Andy. There’s no land tied into that. Now, granted, I know the Lakers are one of the few teams, right? Probably the Dodgers, the Yankees, maybe the Knicks, the Patriots, the Cowboys, just kind of these really world-renowned brands, right? Not every football team or basketball team, the Nuggets couldn’t sell for that, for example. However, they’re only going up, Andy, and when you attach a stadium to it, And I don’t think the Waltons will ever sell, to be honest with you, because I think they’ll probably keep it as long as they have kids that are interested in doing it. And Greg Penner and Kerry are young enough that they can run it for the next 30 years easily without any issues. I just think, Andy, that their goal is to create this all-in experience for the fans, and I don’t think they’ll spare any expense to make that happen.
SPEAKER 07 :
No, and by the way, you’ve also, really quick here, Tanner. By the way, also, look at the access you got down from the airport coming down on E-470 straight to their stadium. You are correct. Go ahead, Tanner.

I think putting the stadium out by the airport would not be a great decision purely because you get all these people up there, and then they want to stay the night or something. There’s no hotel, so you have to build those.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, yeah, but they would spring up overnight.

Right, but the drive back would be hell. Two lanes, unless they start building lanes from the airport, I think that would be miserable for most fans having to go all the way out there.

My actual location where I was thinking was toward the airport, but not out by, literally by the airport. I was thinking more just north of I-70. Yeah. And just north of I-70 and east, actually, of 470.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, that’s the Gaylord, Andy. Right, Andy? The Gaylord, you know, it’s technically Aurora out there. Yeah. It’s got a lot of room. It’s got a lot of land around it. It would be prime for exactly what you’re talking about. There’s access from E-470. And you are correct, right, because your Pena goes into two lanes, so you can’t put anything there. You’ve got to be able to access it. You access it from I-70, and even then I-70 needs some revamp. But I’m with you. I do think that that would be attractive from a travel standpoint for teams coming in. But just at the same time, if we do put it to Lone Tree, these teams traveling aren’t going to balk at a $300 toll bill that they’ve got to take from the airport to stay next to a hotel next to the stadium. And also, let’s be honest, Andy. That is a very high-end area of the city, right? Lone Tree, Parker, Castle Rock is very affluent, and when they’re making these decisions, those are some things that they take into account.

Well, yeah, and you have to keep in mind, a lot of Bronco players live in Castle Pines. Right. And those areas, I mean, that’s where the wealthy live. Those are $10 million homes. Oh, man. Well, I’m not saying I do think so, right, Andy? This is my declaration to say I’m just obviously… This is your sales pitch, buddy. Sell me that car. It is. Sell me that car. I think that Bo Nix is a mature quarterback. I think that he will take a step forward in his second year. He knows Sean Payton’s offense. He’ll be able to make quicker decisions. The defense is… Top five, certainly, arguably the number one defense in the entire NFL. You have a great offensive line, albeit they had a little bit of help last year with some things. Your biggest question with the Broncos, Andy, is do they do enough in the offseason to score more points, get more firepower? for for Bo and I think they did I think RJ Harvey will step in we just signed JK Dobbins we got a couple you know Evan Ingram as far as the tight end goes so I I think it’s going to take him a little bit to mesh Andy at Pat Bryant from Illinois I think that they they will compete with the Chiefs and the biggest reason as much as I would say is Bo Nix Andy But is there continued dominance on defense to now go along? And then obviously the offense is going to start holding their own a little bit, which I think will only lessen the burden on the defense, which makes their job easier.

I love that Bronco defense, especially your cornerbacks. I think it’s just wonderful in your pass rush. They got it all. But I got to be honest, I’m going to be harsh, Richard. When it comes, you’re talking about your running backs. I think you’re kind of dumpster diving compared to the Chargers. Go ahead, Tanner.

Well, we got the second-best running back in the draft, a great free agent running back in Najee Harris, who’s just a bone bruiser. He gets the tough yards, even if it’s only four yards. It’s better than the two we would have gotten with Dobbins or Gus Edwards.

Richard, I see defensive fronts coming out of games and body casts, having to tackle both these guys. What do you think?

Yeah, Andy, although, I mean, I’m with you. Well, Andy, it’s those guys combined with the offensive line, combined with Jim Harbaugh, who just likes to punish everyone, right?

Yeah, we also signed the receiver I wanted. We drafted in the second round. Trey Harris is big body. I think he’s… He’s no Calvin Johnson, but I mean, 6’3 frame, he’s like 225. I think he’s the new Mike Williams, even though we did re-sign Mike Williams. But I mean, we got a tight end, Gadsden out of Syracuse. He’s been our most impressive guy in the workouts, and he’s a fifth-round pick. He’s a baller.

Okay, how’s your defense stack up? We all know you got Herbert at quarterback. That’s a given.
SPEAKER 19 :
Our defense was number one for most of the year until the Broncos got really hot, it We added a few pieces. I’m not the happiest about it. We do need a new bookend because Khalil Max last year. But our two fifth-round corners we drafted last year are now our starters, and they’re fantastic. We also added a middle linebacker. Junior Colson’s in his second year. We had a breakout linebacker, Damian or something, Henley, and he’s going to be fantastic as well. I think we improved everywhere we could, and we didn’t spend a whole lot, so we still have room to grow. And I think our biggest problem is our bookends. We have Tuli Tulilopa something. It’s Hawaiian. Tulilopa. And Khalil Mack. And then we drafted one guy who should be his predecessor. But I still think the Broncos are slightly better than us, unfortunately.

Okay, Tanner. Now I’m going to go the other way, you see, because I do like your young corners coming up, but I think you’re dumpster diving compared to the Broncos.

They’re going to have to learn how to fight and claw their way. Andy, I don’t think it will be as easy as last year it was for them. However, that could end up paying dividends for them in the playoffs. I guess we’ll see.

Okay, now, in other words, you both agree with me the Raiders are going to win your division. Okay, I’m glad we got that settled. You’ve got 45 seconds left, Richard. We just saw a great NBA championship. We are seeing not just young teams winning it all, but young teams that are loaded and are going to stay loaded. OKC doesn’t just have a young team. They’ve got a lot of draft capital. They’ve just got talent coming in, coming in, coming in. How does Denver keep up? with the kinds of teams like the Pacers and OKC and San Antonio and these young teams that are coming up. You’ve got 20 seconds.

You know, Andy, I worry because I feel like they may stand pat, which is very worrisome to me. However, I think they settle on, they have one of the best cores in all of the league, the best starting, plus a little bit on the bench. Right. When it comes down to it, and so as long as everyone is healthy and shows up like they’re supposed to, they are very hard to beat, as evidenced by taking OKC. However, Andy, I’m not sure that’ll be enough.

You know, I hear you’ve got a pretty good center, though.

You know, maybe we’ll get LeBron James to go with him. He doesn’t want to be in L.A. anymore. Okay.
