In this enlightening episode, Dr. Scott steps in for John Rush to delve into a riveting discussion on stem cells, featuring biohacker Jeremy Sova. As the world of stem cell research accelerates, Dr. Scott shares insider information from the upcoming A4M Conference, highlighting cutting-edge developments. The discussion traverses topics from the Advent season’s reflections to family importance, setting a warm tone before diving into the science and ethics surrounding stem cell use.
SPEAKER 07 :
This is Rush to Reason. You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes. With your host, John Rush. My advice to you is to do what your parents did!
SPEAKER 09 :
Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 10 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 06 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 05 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush, presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 06 :
Welcome back, listeners. Dr. Scott filling in for John Rush on this Health and Wellness Wednesday with biohacker extraordinaire Jeremy Sova. Why, thank you. You’re welcome. So third hour, sun has set. It’s cold. It’s snowy. Please be very cautious out there, folks. We really care about you. We want you to get home safely to your family. especially this Advent season where we just stop and ponder the price that was paid for us on the cross. So just hug your family, love your family, enjoy this time of season. Don’t get Twitter-pated. Just enjoy it for what it is, is my advice to you.
SPEAKER 14 :
Spend as much time with your family as possible because this is the time of year where the time is off. Kids can come home for a couple weeks from college. They don’t have school. So really cherish this time because as they get older, as I’m learning, the time goes by quick and you don’t have as much of it to spend. But this is the time of year that you can really cherish it.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. And you guys have heard me say I lost my dad when I was 18. He was 45. I just – devastated my world. I just started college. So I pray none of you are ever in that situation. But time is precious and it’s fleeting. And so enjoy it while you have it with your family because that’s really what’s important. Not chasing the golden ring or brass ring. How much money can you accumulate? How many things can you put under a Christmas tree and things like that? It’s really that family thing.
SPEAKER 14 :
Can’t take them with you.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. So thank you for that. I promised you that we would be talking about stem cells. So one of the really cool things is here in Las Vegas, December 10th through the 14th, there is the largest conference for A4M. Some of you have heard me talk about A4M. What is A4M? That is American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. So, yes, I am board certified with the ABIM, American Board of Internal Medicine. I keep that certification. But I’m actually now more proud of being a member of the A4M because those are the guys that are on the cutting edge, fixing things on the front side, everything that we’re talking about, all the biohacking. Yeah, they’re basically staying ahead of everybody else, and we get to follow that lead. That’s right, and keeping you young, healthy, and so that you don’t end up as a train wreck into the hospital.
SPEAKER 14 :
I’m excited, too, because you just invited me to join during the commercial break, and I’m very excited to go and explore all the new means to get there and share the information with the group down the road.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, you’re going to be blown away by the speakers. I mean, the problem with A4M is, one, there’s 7,500 doctors here at the Venetian Hotel. It’s several days long, and you have to pick a tract. So one tract may be hormone health. One may be on sleep. One may be on biohacking. My tract is stem cells. I’m the last speaker on the last day. I get to close the event out because I’m one of the world’s foremost experts in stem cells. Outstanding. And most of these doctors, I can promise you, don’t know diddly squat. Whereas now they get to jump the line. They get to learn from me of all the things, trial and error, that I’ve done over the years. And now that we’ve got legislation passed in a state like Florida where it’s now starting to pick up steam. That’s the first domino. It is. And so people are now calling saying, hey, I heard about stem cells. What is this? So I wanted to take some time. Because as more and more providers start to say, hey, maybe I should get into the stem cell world, what comes with that is a bunch of fly-by-nights, snake oil salesmen. Dead cells. on what to look out for. Just like I’m going to train the doctors, you’re going to be smarter than most doctors in the United States on stem cells in the next 15 minutes. So I’m going to give you a crash course. so stem cells really started becoming a thing when george w bush was president okay and we heard a lot of hubbub about embryonic stem cells well as christians that’s where we feel that um we shouldn’t be using embryonic stem cells george w bush felt the same way and then michael j fox developed Parkinson’s disease at a young age. Well, he got on his soapbox and said, no, we need to do more research with embryonic stem cells. And so there was, pardon my French, there was a pissing match between the two of them. Well, the president is more powerful than an actor out of California. So the president once said, we’re going to stop research. We’re going to just shut this down now. So that’s what happened. And so the United States actually started falling behind on research. Well, what we subsequently found is we don’t have to use embryonic stem cells because if you’re using a baby that was fertilized, but it’s still in its infancy, a zygote, it’s still a human life. Well, when you use those stem cells, they’re omnipotent, right? Like God is omnipotent. He can do everything. Well, an embryonic stem cell can do everything in the human body, including make an umbilical cord and a placenta. Well, we don’t care about the umbilical cord and placenta. But here’s the problem is when we use embryonic stem cells is we can actually give you something called a teratoma. Right.
SPEAKER 14 :
Basically, it’s a race car with no brake pedal, is my understanding. It just continues. There’s no off switch, and then it grows into a tumor.
SPEAKER 06 :
It’s a tumor.
SPEAKER 14 :
Correct.
SPEAKER 06 :
Of teeth and hair and just nasty stuff. So I have a Siberian Husky, and when she finds something in the yard and gnaws on it, that looks like a teratoma. Well, imagine I tell you, oh, I can give you stem cells and I can help your arthritis in your knee or I can help this or that. And oh, by the way, I can give you a tumor. So what research found is that if you use the blood from the umbilical cord, there is billions of stem cells in that. And it doesn’t lead to a teratoma. Correct, because those are now called adult stem cells. If you just wait two weeks after fertilization, a woman doesn’t even know she’s pregnant. But now… You have a baby in the womb. It’s like, well, we don’t have to kill the baby. Why don’t we wait nine months, let that baby be born, take the umbilical cord that we’re going to throw in the trash can anyway, and harvest those stem cells. Everybody wins. So that’s what happened. And so over 30 years ago, the FDA, they did studies and said, okay, these are safe, and they approved them on the blood cancer side, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma. So we have over 30 years of using these particular stem cells from the umbilical cord.
SPEAKER 14 :
Just like we were saying earlier, all this stuff has been around. We’re just now knowing through the literature and through trial and error what it can actually do when put to the right uses. Correct.
SPEAKER 06 :
But when somebody like myself uses it to help your knee or your shoulder or your Lou Gehrig’s or your Parkinson’s or your Alzheimer’s, it’s considered off-label usage. Because the studies haven’t been done yet to get it approved in the United States. There are studies outside of the United States, but in the United States. So the FDA says, no, you have to do these studies. But if you trust your doctor, off-label use happens all the time. All the time. We do it every single day with other medicines. Like your methylene blue, right? Or your rapamycin or Tylenol PM. Did you know when you take Tylenol PM to help you sleep, you just took a medicine off-label?
SPEAKER 14 :
Exactly.
SPEAKER 06 :
So it happens all the time. So long as you disclose that to the patient and give them the options of do nothing or, oh, I could put some cortisone in there, but it’s not going to fix your problem. It’s just going to be a Band-Aid. So long as the patient’s informed and they’re like, OK, I give you consent, then it’s legal to use, except for in states like Mississippi. They’re backwards. Right. Okay. So then some entrepreneurial guy in Brighton, a doctor, he created a machine that if you take somebody’s bone marrow and put it in this machine, it will separate most of the cells from the stem cells. And so then they started using those for regenerative medicine.
SPEAKER 14 :
That was my first was the bone marrow drive. Took it out of the iliac crest of my pelvis.
SPEAKER 06 :
And you were younger, so those stem cells, there were some, but they weren’t as robust as came from a baby that was born alive and healthy.
SPEAKER 14 :
That’s right. There was low volume and decent potency in 2014. Yeah. Back then, they had to combine them with adipose fat-derived for more volume, which was helpful in their genitive space. And now it’s morphed and advanced into the cord tissue and cord blood, which has got the volume and the potency. Correct. So it’s the 3.0, if you will. It’s like the GLP. It’s like the red atrutide as to semaglutide.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, good analogy. And so that surgical procedure to get the bone marrow is very painful. It’s two hours and it hurts like hell.
SPEAKER 01 :
You can attest to it, right? Oh, I can attest to it. That’s right.
SPEAKER 06 :
So why would you use a substandard or an inferior product that’s already in your body? I tell people if you needed stem cells, why would you use your own? Because they suck. Right. So why not use the ones that came from a billboard of a baby that was just born alive and healthy in the millions where you’re in the thousands? That’s right. OK. Same thing with adipose derived. So you go to the plastic surgeon. He says, oh, I could do a liposuction and we can separate the fat cells from the stem cells. And then we can do something called expanding the cell line. So that means he takes a small amount and puts it in a Petri dish. And under artificial light and food and everything, they force the cells to replicate to get more. That’s right. Well, there’s only so many times a cell can multiply and divide until you get something called apoptosis. Apoptosis is programmed cell death.
SPEAKER 14 :
Cell death. Right. And the older you get, the older those stem cells get. Correct. They’re less effective as you get older.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. So you want every division in your body. Well, if they use up several of those, it’s called a passage to double the amount of cells. So if you’re using up most of those in a Petri dish, and these cells to begin with are not very robust, then it’s a substandard product again. Now the upside is they came from your body. So you know, oh, well, it’s my own, so therefore it’s not foreign. Well, what we’ve proven is that if you use a reputable company like what I use, they are the only ones in the world right now that have met the FDA’s requirements through CGMP, current good manufacturing practices, and current good lab manufacturing practices. So they have both. They’re registered with the AABB and National Bone Marrow Registry. They’re the only company on the face of the planet that has all of that.
SPEAKER 14 :
And I’m in a unique position where I got involved before I knew that. Correct. So I have hundreds of millions stored in cryo-freeze of my own adipose fat derived that I can use for myself and only for myself. But now I have the option of combining those with the cord and tissue blood. So I can basically use all the different types for anything that I need as I need it as I get older. So it’s cool to have a little bit of old, a little bit of new. But I love that the technology is moving forward. More and more, and I hope more people do get involved in more FDA approval and more cells so more people can have them. It’s awesome that there’s one so far, but hopefully this, other than the ones that are out of country, hopefully more and more people kind of figure this out and do it the correct way and the safe way.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 14 :
Right cells under the right conditions.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. And Tijuana, Mexico is not the safe way. You have no idea what you’re getting. Right. So we’re going to take a break. When we come back, I wanted to segue into some of the cool research that’s going on around the world. We have like a study in Japan, Germany. So when we come back, I’m teasing the audience. You guys hang on for just a little bit through the commercial because this is crazy. groundbreaking news it’s incredible where the world of stem cells is taking us for health and wellness so when we come back we’ll talk about those studies so exciting so dr scott with jeremy filling for john rush health and wellness wednesdays we’ll be right back
SPEAKER 02 :
Here’s why you need personal injury attorney Kevin Flesch on your side. He understands the way the jury thinks. In the context of a personal injury case, you’ve been hurt by someone else’s negligence. The idea is that you’re going to try to recover so that you can get back to where you were just prior to that incident occurring. What that really means from a jurist’s perspective is that you’re going to be asking them to award you money. So when we talk about fairness, we’re talking about six people that you don’t know. Those six people view the evidence and make a unanimous decision that will decide what the fair value is. When you’re the one who’s hurt, you have a good idea of what you think it’s worth. The question is, can you persuade those other individuals whom you don’t know and were witnesses to believe that’s what the case is worth? Kevin Flesch understands the way the jury thinks. Call now for a free consultation. 303-806-8886
SPEAKER 01 :
What if you could get over 110 lab biomarkers tested just like Dr. Mark Hyman advertises, but for a fraction of the cost and with a doctor who actually explains the results? At Castle Rock Regenerative Health, Dr. Scott Faulkner has recreated this powerful biomarker test panel at a substantial savings. For the month of November, we have a special price for both men and women. Just $689. That’s a savings of over $2,500 over the standard price. And here’s the difference. With Hyman, you get numbers on a page. With Castle Rock Regenerative Health, you get Dr. Faulkner and his team walking you through every result, showing what’s off and creating a personalized plan to fix it. What’s even better, you don’t even have to be a concierge patient to get this pricing. This is open to everyone. Think about it. Most people’s deductible is higher than this special price. And your regular doctor, if he could get approved by your insurance, would never order this many tests, let alone know what to do with them. Call 303-663-6990 today or visit CastleRockRegenerativeHealth.com. That’s 303-669-6990. Take control of your health at Castle Rock Regenerative Health.
SPEAKER 06 :
This is Rush to Reason on KLZ 560. Welcome back, listeners. Dr. Scott filling in for John Rush, 560 KLZ. We’ve got about a little over half an hour left, and we were talking about stem cells, and I gave you guys a primer on stem cells. This is the same talk that I’m going to be giving in Las Vegas here, the 10th through the 14th to 7,500 different doctors. So now you’re at least as smart as they are. But where the world of stem cells is going is absolutely incredible. So I made reference to a couple of different studies, one out of Japan, the other out of Germany. So Jeremy, start with the Japanese study.
SPEAKER 14 :
That’s pretty amazing. So there’s a groundbreaking medical achievement that just emerged from Japan where doctors have used stem cell therapy to help a previously paralyzed man walk again. I say that again. A man that couldn’t walk because he was paralyzed is now walking because of stem cells. It’s the world’s first clinically successful treatment aimed at repairing spinal cord injuries using the regenerated cells. It’s a milestone that scientists, biologists, doctors have been pursuing for decades. Yes. That, in and of itself, we could talk about for three hours. Yes. If it’s fixing people that are paralyzed, that’s how potent these things are for healing. I’ve used them to save my low back and my right shoulder. But to think about a paralyzed person just gives me chills.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, I mean, as a provider, it is so exciting now to see what is coming down the pike with stem cells. So we’ve kind of broken that glass ceiling of, oh, yeah, it’ll help your knee, it’ll help your shoulder, maybe some of these other conditions. For those of you who don’t know, my uncle was my very first patient back in 2018. In 2016, he developed Lou Gehrig’s, probably from Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam. And in 2016, he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s or ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It is a death sentence when you get that diagnosis. So he went from Grand Junction to UC Health and shoots, saw the expert who said, yep, you have Lou Gehrig’s in three to five years, you’re going to be dead. He says, but I have a new research protocol with this little white pill. Do you want to be part of it? My uncle’s like, well, you just told me I’m going to be dead in three to five years. Sure, of course, I’m going to be part of the protocol. So in 2018, so two years later, he’s now confined to a wheelchair. Obviously, the little white pill did not work. So he had called me up and said, Nephew, is there anything else out there for Lou Gehrig? And so I’m like, I don’t know. I mean, I save people’s lives in the ICU. It’s not my forte, but… don’t know he says well and he put down the gauntlet he said you’re a smart guy figure it out i’m like okay i will so i got on the computer started looking through pubmed and found outside of the united states they were doing some groundbreaking stuff with these stem cells so i called him back said uncle ron looks like these stem cells might be the cat’s meow he’s like great get me some And I’m like, okay, this is not like me ordering a blood pressure pill or an antibiotic. I have no idea where to get stem cells.
SPEAKER 14 :
He’s like, put it up your app and have it delivered like dominoes. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER 06 :
So again, he laid down the gauntlet. He said, you’re a smart guy. Figure it out. I said, okay, I will. And so that was my research where I found a lot of these fly-by-night companies that say, oh, well, we have stem cells or we’re the best or this and that. That’s where I had to learn about the FDA’s gold standard. That’s where I had to learn the difference between FDA registered. Like there’s a company called R3. They want to entice you to go down to Tijuana, Mexico or some of these other countries. And on their website, I was just looking at it a couple of nights ago because one of my patients asked me, hey, what if I go to R3 and use their cells because they’re enticing me to come? And so I looked at it. I’m like, dude. You have no idea what you’re getting in your body because there’s no regulatory body. There’s no oversight. No oversight. You could get HIV. You could get hepatitis. They could be giving you bunk cells, dead cells, and you’re paying thousands of dollars. Are you kidding me? You want to do that?
SPEAKER 14 :
No, you have to do your due diligence in these things because anytime there’s something that works, there’s 10 other people that are going to try to sell you something that doesn’t. and claim that it does.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, that’s exactly right. So long story short, gave my uncle these stem cells that are the best of the best, and lo and behold, he got 10 and a half months of great movement, was able to get out of his wheelchair, did it a second time, and then unfortunately, because of the cost, he couldn’t keep affording it because he was retired, and then the Lou Gehrig’s took over. But God gave him 20 months of good quality of life
SPEAKER 14 :
And gave you the education of how to get people involved earlier so they can avoid his eventual decline.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. And so the earlier that we can get somebody, the better off you’re going to be. So when I see a study out of Japan taking a guy who was paralyzed, who has a spinal cord injury, and now he’s walking? It’s mind-blowing. That’s a game-changer, folks. And so now they’re going to start fine tuning these stem cells for specifically for Parkinson’s, for Lou Gehrig’s, for a multiple sclerosis, for Alzheimer’s. It’s just going to keep getting better and better. So I am super excited.
SPEAKER 14 :
And then we got the study out of Germany. You just mentioned Alzheimer’s. So out of Germany now, this is last Saturday, groundbreaking stem cell treatment in Germany shows the ability to completely reverse early stage Alzheimer’s disease, offering unprecedented hope to patients and families. Early trials are showing it restores cognitive function, memory and brain activity by repairing the damaged neurons and promoting neural regeneration.
SPEAKER 06 :
Which is huge because when I trained, I remember the neurologist telling us there is nothing that will regrow neurons, right? They told us the same thing about multiple sclerosis. There’s something called a Schwann cell. So those of you who are familiar with electricity, you got a copper wire in your wall and then you have this plastic coating around it, an insulator. Because if you put two copper wires together, they’ll short out. Well, that’s what happens in multiple sclerosis is your body attacks that insulator called the Schwann cell. And so those neurons touch and short themselves out. Well, with stem cells, we can actually regrow those Schwann cells or give you back your insulator. They’re rebuilding the neural network. The neural network. That’s exactly right. And then when you throw hyperbaric on top of that, it’s incredible. That’s right. So I love where I’m at in medicine, being one of those cutting-edge doctors. I mean, it’s like with Fleming inventing penicillin or one of these early pioneers just changing how medicine is practiced. It is so cool being in my shoes. Now, yes, I’m 59, which is really cool, but I don’t have the full career to look forward to all these cool advances. I’m going to pass it on to the next generation, so that’s why I’m going to go to Vegas and I’m going to train up the next generation because eventually, someday, I’m going to retire. I don’t know when, but someday. But you guys, as the patients, it’s cutting-edge stuff, folks.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, so I want to talk a little bit about plasmapheresis, but my last three months or so, plasmapheresis, stem cells, and hypobaric oxygen therapy, the combination of those three things alone can give you at least 15 years of health span and make you feel superhuman. Not to mention all the other stuff.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. Let’s dive more into both plasmapheresis and then hyperbaric because a lot of folks don’t know. They didn’t hear us last time teasing the plasmapheresis. What is it? How does it work? What is this HBOT, this hyperbaric? So let’s explain it when we come back from the break, and that way our listeners will better understand what it is. Excellent. Okay. So Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush, Health and Wellness Wednesday. We’ll be right back.
SPEAKER 12 :
Were you concerned about potentially being dropped by your insurance? And how did RoofMax ease those concerns?
SPEAKER 08 :
I was kind of concerned that my insurance company that I had previously was going to either cancel me or increase my premium. When Dave came over and he said, Gil, he said, your roof looks good. I will give you a bid. And he said, I can give you a warranty of five years. And I said, whoa, that’s great.
SPEAKER 12 :
Would you recommend RoofMax to friends, family, or neighbors? And why?
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, because they were very prompt in getting the job done. They were very efficient in the time, maybe three days to four days max to get everything, paperwork, come and inspect my roof and complete the job. The price was very good. I was very impressed with the appearance of our roof after it was completed. So yes, absolutely, I would recommend RoofMax and especially Dave Hart.

The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 06 :
Welcome back, listeners. Dr. Scott, Jeremy Sova, filling in for John Rush, Health and Wellness Wednesdays. We’re dwindling on time, and there’s lots of things that we want to get to. So if you remember… Rush Limbaugh used to say he had a stack of stuff, and he would get to the stack of stuff. But we have a stack of stuff, and we haven’t hardly touched our stack. And the stack just keeps growing month after month.
SPEAKER 03 :
I know.
SPEAKER 06 :
So we were talking about potential plasmapheresis and hyperbaric. So let’s take plasmapheresis first. What is it? What does it do? What do we think it can do?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yep. So plasmapheresis, and what we’re going to call it is therapeutic plasma exchange, or TPE for short. So essentially what happens is you’ve ordered a machine. It’s going to arrive sometime in January. We’re going to have, you know, sounds like 20 spots at a once in a lifetime deal for the first 20 people that can come in because we want to hear their stories because we know they’re going to be mind blowing. It’s basically plasmapheresis or therapeutic plasma exchange is they take the plasma that’s in your blood out of your body and At the same time, they put in kind of new topsoil, if you will, albumin, immunoglobulin. And basically what’s been going on your entire life is you’re building up a bunch of bad stuff in your plasma, inflammatory cytokines, forever chemicals, microplastics, and this stuff builds up in that blood plasma. And once you take it out, and it takes about maybe three to six treatments depending on the person, the age, how much inflammation is there. You take the plasma out, you put the good stuff in, and now we have studies in literature, double-blind placebo-controlled studies, where it’s reversing biological age because you’re taking the bad stuff out and putting good stuff in. But now we’re starting to see the literature alluding to you can definitely get rid of the forever chemicals, which is very important for a mother that lost a child, stuff that they would carry over to the placenta and to the baby. So you can take those out before you have a child. If you’re the woman, you can get rid of the microplastics and it’s looking as if, and we’re, we’re getting closer to it. I’m not going to say definitively, but it’s looking as if we can even get rid of the COVID vaccine and the spike protein that is in the body, which is absolutely potentially groundbreaking and, So this process for somebody like myself, that’s, you know, healthy and getting healthier, it’s about 90 minutes, you know, go through it, somebody that is maybe elderly or has some comorbidities, it could take up to three or four hours, but controlled environment in your clinic, you got a nurse practitioner, you know, very comfortable. And it’s basically a machine that, you know, pulls out the bad puts in the good, you know, Brian Johnson has done this several times, you know, he put out his results, it’s what got me interested in it. And Now there’s clinics popping up, you know, kind of all over the world that are realizing how important this is. And I think there’s even a segment in Vegas next week, you know, specifically to this too. So there’s more information to come folks, but Castle Rock regenerative healthcare is going to have this relatively soon. And I would, take a very close look at it, especially if you’re somebody like myself that has the markers for autoimmune disease or had autoimmune disease or you currently do have autoimmune disease. Because one of the biggest breakthroughs we’re seeing is it helps the immune system repair itself, get healthy, and stop attacking itself. And my RNP antibodies and my RA factor have gone from dangerously high to normal just in the last, you know, six to nine months because of the focus on the immune system itself. And then it also does things like helps cure monasthenia gravis and, you know, some other multiple sclerosis and some of the more serious things. But for longevity and reverse aging medicine, it’s going to be the next, what I’m going to call the next stem cells. So if you take the stem cells and you take the therapeutic plasma exchange, and then the final piece of the puzzle is hyperbaric oxygen therapy or HBOT for short. And a machine like yours that is safe, there’s no fire danger, turns the air, and it basically helps with brain health, heart health, metabolic health, lowers your resting heart rate, helps with sleep. The body really loves oxygen in a negative pressure environment. And I personally think that everybody should have one of these things at some point in the future. Price comes down. You know, you should have a in your man or woman cave. You should have a chamber at some point. There’s a reason why Michael Jackson had one years ago and why a lot of athletes have them now. There’s no denying what this thing can do. And I’m in it four days a week now. And my resting heart rate has been in the 40s, which to me is amazing. It’s helped with my metabolic health. My A1C is down. So I think those three things probably deserve their own podcast alone between the stem cells, the TPE, and the HBOT. But I’m very excited that all those modalities are now kind of coming together as something that you can offer your patients. That’s exactly right.
SPEAKER 06 :
So I have a study here I want to talk to the audience about. It’s published in OxyCell, O-X-Y-C-E-L-L. And the title is The New Frontier in Anti-Aging and Cognitive Enhancement Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. So basically it’s a groundbreaking study conducted in Israel. So for those of you who don’t know, a lot of the research on hyperbaric oxygen therapy comes out of Israel. They are the experts. They’ve been doing this well over 14 years of good science. Our experts are down in Florida because this comes out of the scuba diving world. But a lot of the research in the United States was focused on things that are covered by insurance. So the things that I do in my clinic are everything else, the stuff that people actually care about, that people who don’t have carbon monoxide poisoning or these big diabetic wounds that won’t heal. Those you can go to a hospital. They have a chamber and they say, OK, well, you have carbon monoxide poisoning. Therefore, we can put you in our chamber and insurance will pay for it. But if you said, oh, I’m Jeremy Sova and I want this for brain health, I want to reverse Alzheimer’s or something like that. Or my son has a fracture. I think this will help them heal. Then they’re going to say, well, sorry, it’s not covered by insurance. Go pound sand. So then you turn to somebody like myself. And the other thing is there is a difference between the chambers. So the chamber that we have. as you alluded to, is very safe. Inside the chamber, it doesn’t get above 24.5% oxygen, so we don’t create a bomb. Yep. Because there was a couple of deaths recently on substandard chambers and lack of oversight, especially the little kiddo in Minnesota that died.
SPEAKER 14 :
Michigan, yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
Or Michigan, okay. And we use oxygen concentrators as opposed to liquid oxygen. We can get up to about 95% pure oxygen in your face. When you put liquid oxygen under pressure, you’ve created a bomb. So I’m very safe we don’t do that. And our machine will go to 2 atmospheres absolute. For those of you who are not scuba divers, that’s equivalent to the pressure of being down about 33 feet in the ocean. That’s right. That is a lot of pressure. Whereas the single, I call them coffins, little chamber that you might have at home, if you’re young and healthy and you don’t have a lot going on, those go to about 1.3 atmospheres. Usually that’s okay. You’ll get benefit out of it. But if you have anything more serious… then you want a machine that will at least get to two atmospheres.
SPEAKER 14 :
Absolutely. Yeah, my research shows that two atmospheres for 90 minutes, three to five days a week is the sweet spot for longevity.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes. And that’s exactly what this study that I’m alluding to. It’s exactly the protocol. It was two atmospheres for 90 minutes. Really? Yes.
SPEAKER 14 :
Interesting.
SPEAKER 06 :
And it said – I’m going to read this. Sorry, folks. I don’t like reading stuff, but I think you need to hear this. So in Israel, it’s demonstrated that for the first time in humans that hyperbaric oxygen therapy can reverse two key biological markers of aging, telomere shortening – and accumulation of senescent cells. So let’s take telomeres. What are telomeres?
SPEAKER 14 :
So telomeres are basically the end caps of your DNA chromosomes. Kind of think about a plastic cap on your shoelace. Yep. It busts off. It frays. You can’t thread the shoelace in. You need new shoelaces. Well, you don’t get new shoelaces in your body. So basically, you want to keep those telomeres as long and healthy as possible for as long as possible. Mm-hmm. And there’s different ways to do it. And hyperbaric oxygen is one of the better ones to prevent those telomeres from shortening. Yeah. So telomere length protection is very important.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes. And so this study proves that we can elongate or lengthen your telomeres. And then in my brain, I say, well, if you use epithelon, which is a peptide, every six months, what does epithelon do? It lengthens your telomeres.
SPEAKER 14 :
Right. So I do it every twice a year. I stick myself for 20 days in concert with the HBOT. Yeah, those two things alone are specific to telomere health and lengthening. And going back a couple of hours, I also have a telomere length test. And I’ve got good results. It was the first test. So I’m going to track, are they lengthening? Are they staying the same? Are they shortening? But now I’m measuring the length of my telomeres, and there’s a test we’ll talk about next month.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. And then the second part of this is the accumulation of senescent cells. So what’s a senescent cell? So this is a zombie cell.
SPEAKER 14 :
So basically your body has live cells, it has dead cells, and you accumulate, the more dead cells you accumulate that your body can’t clean out, the more chance of disease or chronic disease that you can get from it. And there’s means to attack it, right? Like there’s certain studies now being shown. that even fasting for a certain amount of time for a certain person, your body can eat those senescent cells. And things like rapamycin can help the turnover of those cells. NAD+, if taken the right way, et cetera, et cetera. But, yeah, the hyperbaric oxygen therapy is basically eradicating those zombie cells too, which is also helping you fire your mitochondria and lower your inflammation. Yeah.
SPEAKER 06 :
And so the takeaway on this study is it says telomere link, the holy grail of anti-aging. And it’s exactly what you said. Telomeres are the protective caps at the end of chromosomes that prevent DNA from deteriorating during cell division. Over time, telomeres shorten naturally with age, which leads to cellular aging and increases the risk of age-related diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurodegenerative disorders. So this study showed that you can increase the length of your telomeres by 20%.
SPEAKER 14 :
And what’s interesting, too, I was in the cannabis industry about 10 years ago in the medical field of it. And everything we got was from Israel because they were allowed to study it going back to the 1950s, where the United States still isn’t allowed to because it’s a federally controlled substance, Schedule 1. And it’s starting to break free state by state by state. But I love hearing that this information is coming out of Israel because they’ve been proven to be on the forefront of stuff that the U.S. is behind on when it comes to all things health, medicine, and different ways to use what God put on this planet to help us get better. So I’d love to hear that that study is making its way finally.
SPEAKER 06 :
But this just proves my point of what I found out when my Uncle Ron said, hey, you’re a smart guy. Figure it out. As I started reading the PubMed articles, what hit me like a ton of bricks was, wait a second, all this research is done out of the United States, in Israel, in South Korea, in China, other places like that. And then the scales removed from my eyes, I’m like, I’ll be darned. They’re treating us like mushrooms. The medical industrial complex is treating us like mushrooms. They’re feeding us what they want us to know, right, to keep people on pills.
SPEAKER 14 :
It’s propaganda.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. It’s called the medical management. We want to manage your disease. Not, oh, can we cure it? Can we fix it? Here’s something natural. And on the next segment, because we’ve got to take a break, I want to talk about the bioidentical hormones because RFK Jr. got the FDA to drop the black box warning on hormone replacement therapy for women, which is just going to drive home the point even further. But most doctors, they still have the scales on their eyes, but even you get it. It’s like, yeah, I see all this cool –
SPEAKER 14 :
literature coming out of other countries why don’t we get that here in the united states because the money is not in the cure the money is in the medicine what’s the last thing we cured polio in the 50s there’s no money in the cure so now we’re gonna say let’s not cure it let’s prevent it from happening in the first place that’s exactly right
SPEAKER 06 :
So we’ve got to take a quick break. For our last segment, we’re going to talk about bioidentical hormones, hormone replacement therapy, and the FDA removing the black box warning. So stick with us, Dr. Scott with Jeremy, filling in for John Rush, Health and Wellness Wednesday. We’ll be right back.

This isn’t Rage Radio. This is Real Relatable Radio. Back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 06 :
Welcome back listeners to the last segment before we cut out of here on this very chilly Wednesday afternoon in Denver, Colorado. You’ve got Dr. Scott filling in for John with Jeremy Sova, expert biohacker. I teased that we were going to talk a little bit about hormone replacement therapy and the Women’s Health Initiative. And this is another example of our government run amok. So let’s back up to when I was in the Air Force. Okay, so from 1999 to 2001, there were two landmark studies that were done during that time. The first one was the Women’s Health Initiative here in the United States. Massive study. They were supposed to run for five years. The second one was the Million Women UK study done over in Europe. And literally, they had a million women in the study looking at hormone replacement therapy. Again, that study was supposed to run for five years. After three years, they put the brakes on both of them and scared every doctor, every woman. They said the risk of breast cancer, heart attacks is off the charts. Do not give any woman hormone replacement therapy. So ladies who had hot flashes, you name it, perimenopausal, menopausal symptoms, osteoporosis, osteopenia, we stopped it. And it wreaked havoc. I mean, I had some ladies threatening suicide because they’re like, these symptoms suck so badly. I was that oddball duck because I’d gotten out of the Air Force in 2001. So this hit in 2002. And so knowing me, I just said, well, if you want this, here, sign this waiver because you’re the patient, right? You have a right to try something that we took you off of it. We knew it was working for you. But if you’re the patient and you’re willing to sign this waiver and hold me harmless, I’ll give it to you, sure. So did they poo-poo it? Did they have bad information? Is that what happened? Well, partially. So a smart guy by the name of John Lee, Dr. Lee, he was practiced in the Oregon area. And he had gone to Harvard. This is back when going to Harvard actually meant something other than you’re now got purple hair and you’re woke and you’re an idiot. So back then, Dr. Lee, he had been doing bioidentical hormone replacement therapy since the 80s. Oh, there’s the difference. Bioidentical. Yes. And so when he looked at the data and teased it apart, he said, wait a second. Do you see this subset of women who are on bioidentical? Their risk is actually lower. Yeah, it’s actually more beneficial to be on it. Correct. So the answer to guys like me who are listening is like avoid the stuff that Pfizer and Merck is trying to push us to give to our patients, right? So let’s back up. So ladies and men, we have estrogen. Estradiol, estriol, especially estradiol is the major estrogen in the body. Well, Pfizer can’t make any money off of estradiol because it’s a naturally occurring substance.
SPEAKER 14 :
And very neuroprotective.
SPEAKER 06 :
And cardioprotective. So in their lab, if they have their scientists tweak the molecule slightly, it is technically a different compound. They can patent it. So then they crank out millions of samples. They have a young girl in a miniskirt coming into my office, right? Or if it’s a lady doctor, some guy who is an ex-football player coming in in a suit saying, here, here’s a study. And remember what I said about the studies is the pharmaceutical industry, it’s their own study. So imagine it says, oh, you get all these great benefits if you try our drug, and oh, yeah, we tried it on 400 patients, and we only did it for six weeks. We followed them for six weeks. Okay, I’m sorry, but you can’t pick up side effects and problems in six weeks. But it plants a seed in the doctor’s head. Then that drug rep will give that doctor samples. So the next time you have a patient come in with these symptoms, hot flashes or whatever, why don’t you try them on the samples and see if it works? Well, because that estrogen molecule is very, very close, it does help the patient. They’re like, hey, I don’t have hot flashes. The doctor is thinking, oh, this is wonderful. And that’s how they start writing scripts. Well, 10, 15 years down the road, suddenly the lady pops up with a breast cancer.
SPEAKER 14 :
So that was not bioidentical.
SPEAKER 06 :
It was not. Because they changed the molecule. It’s synthetic. Correct. Gotcha. But like John Lee showed, if you use bioidentical, then it actually lowers the risk. So guys like me, all these years since 2002, knew that. That’s why I only give out bioidentical hormones. So now with JFK Jr. or RFK Jr. in charge, he’s like, wait a second. We’re throwing the baby out with the bathwater. So he changed the policy and got rid of the black box warning.
SPEAKER 14 :
Excellent.
SPEAKER 06 :
But you still have to be cognizant that your doctor is giving you bioidentical, not the synthetic stuff.
SPEAKER 14 :
And looking at you as a holistic person and not just the hormones.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. So we have a caller, Dave, on the line. I want to get to him before we close out tonight. So, Dave, what’s on your mind?
SPEAKER 13 :
My wife had a question. I was telling her about your show, and she wanted to know if she needed to have a prescription for the hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, both of those need prescription unless you go out of the country for it on some of these websites. But the problem with that is you have no idea what you’re getting. So I have no stock in my buddy who’s a compounding pharmacist there in Castle Rock. It’s called ITC. And that’s where I will write scripts for because if you use a regular drugstore, regular ivermectin comes in three milligram dose. So you could get it, but the pharmacist will give you a hard time. In fact, I just wrote a prescription for nicotine patches because a buddy of mine got COVID like I did. I wrote nicotine patches to Walmart in downtown Denver. The pharmacist refused to fill prescription for the nicotine patch for the guy for COVID. He said, no, Dr. Faulkner is not part of the UC Health Network.
SPEAKER 14 :
That’s how much of a Nazis these people are. So he basically has to go to the –
SPEAKER 06 :
the gas station to buy the basically 21 wall greens by 20 right so i had to send the prescription to a smaller more mom-and-pop pharmacy that’s still in business so that he could get his nicotine patch for his active covet along with his ivermectin so regular ivermectin comes in three milligrams the compounding pharmacists are able to make uh ivermectin but it can’t be a multiple of three So it can’t be 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, on and on. But if you use, say, 32 milligrams, because the dose for COVID is 0.4 milligrams per kilogram. So a 50-kilogram person is going to need 32 to 34 milligrams, somewhere in there. And a compounding pharmacy can make that. Otherwise, you’re taking a lot of 3-milligram tablets, and that’s just a lot. You don’t want to do that. But, yes, you need a doctor’s prescription to a place like ITC, College Pharmacy down in Colorado Springs. There’s a few others.
SPEAKER 13 :
I was listening to your show on the way home, and I didn’t catch the whole thing, but I thought maybe she could come down to your office in Castle Rock. Absolutely.
SPEAKER 06 :
Castle Rock. That’s exactly right. So she can call the office tomorrow. We’re going to close here in about two minutes. So call tomorrow. The number is 303-663-6990. Okay. Okay. It’s on the web.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s on the web, correct?
SPEAKER 06 :
It is on the website, Castle Rock Regenerative Healthcare.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right.
SPEAKER 06 :
And I’d be happy to take care of her.
SPEAKER 13 :
Sounds great. Appreciate it.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right, Dave. Thanks for the call. So Jeremy, any last thoughts? You got one minute.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, I want to figure out an ultimate biohacker membership that you can offer your patients that encompasses everything that we’re talking about here. But if they do operation all the things, it drives the cost down to where if you were to do them all in a la carte, where you get the bang for the buck and it’s affordable, it’s And I would say get to work on that. And then maybe after Christmas, beginning of the new year, we’ll launch this thing and give people a chance to do everything that I’m doing, but at a much lower price than I paid on my journey.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, you have my word. We’ll work on that over the Christmas holiday. So everybody have a very blessed Christmas holiday. Be safe out there. And remember the reason for the season is Jesus Christ died for you and he was born for you. So Merry Christmas, everybody. Yes. Take care.
