You know the old Judge Judy bromide, don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining? I’m not going to pretend that it’s been an easy week for President Trump or for MAGA. I’m not going to pretend that there haven’t been a couple of setbacks. And they are setbacks that were self-inflicted. These are Republicans in Indiana who caved and acquiesced, probably to Mike Pence, who wanted to seek his revenge on President Trump. Indiana had a real easy opportunity to pick up two congressional seats over fair redistricting after the Democrats have gerrymandered and gerrymandered and gerrymandered. They do it in a heartbeat, but… When you’re a rhino and you hate Trump, you want him impeached next year. You want him to be imprisoned. You want the country to burn because you hate him and you’re mad at him. You don’t have the guts to admit it, so you pretend to be ready to reflect what your voters want, but you really don’t because you hate him because you’re a country club Republican. You don’t like what Trump has done to the Republican Party. You hate it. And you are hoping and plotting and scheming a way to enact your revenge. And that’s what these Republicans did. There’s no explanation for why they voted against redistricting. They know what Democrats have done. They know how beneficial it would have been. So I was really angry. And I saw Steve Bannon, I saw a clip from the War Room podcast that Steve Bannon does. And Steve is so good. I mean, he is so smart and connected and insightful. And he had great analysis. In fact, he was set up, I think, in Indianapolis. It was such an important vote yesterday. 21 Republicans. voted with Hakeem Jeffries and Gavin Newsom and Pete Buttigieg. 21 Indiana Republicans who had no idea, I think, that the world would be watching. They don’t care that they’ve made their state a laughingstock with America. They just decided to play footsie with the lunatic leftist Democrats and hope that Trump loses his next year big time. But Steve Bannon’s message lifted me up. He reminded everybody we have been up against a lot worse than 21 putrid, cowardly Indiana Republicans before. MAGA has taken on way more formidable opponents than these 21 hacks in Indiana. And we’re going to prevail. First of all, they’re all going to get primaried. And I’m going to – listen, I will absolutely be involved in every single primary challenge I can as a talk show host. You go down the list of the names of these 21, they think that they pulled something – they thought they were real clever yesterday. They’re going to find out how clever they are when every one of them gets voted out of office. They’re going to be Liz Cheney-ed in a big way. I know – Indiana is a red state. Indiana expects their representatives to fight to win. These guys don’t fight to win. The only one they want to fight is Donald Trump. The only entity they want to do battle with is MAGA. You cannot understate the hatred that establishment Republicans have for you and me. You just can’t. You can’t avoid it. I’ve spoken to some of them quite explicitly. They loathe MAGA. They despise President Trump. They want it to be the way it used to be with Mitt Romney and John McCain and… What’s his name? The guy that became the Fox News board guy, board member, drawn a blank. Got to hold the button down. We have a new Paul Ryan. There we go. Paul Ryan. They want that kind of Republican. They want the kind that play footsie and try to play nice and go out and have cocktails and get on MSNBC and are loved by the New York Times. And make no mistake, the Democrats love these 21 Republicans. Watching them last night on social media, oh, these brave Republicans who stood up to the orange man bad. They’re so brave. They have a spine. It’s all coming out. The walls are closing in now on Donald Trump. It’s all over. He’s a lame duck. MAGA is falling apart. And Bannon is so right. We have been up against way worse than those 21 clowns. So I hope Mike Pence is happy. I hope these establishment types in Indiana think that they’re Real smart. And they did something special. All they did, pardon my language, is piss off the country. And we are pissed. I had to turn off the computer last night because I thought, I’m going to say something that’s going to get me in a world of hurt. And so I turned it – but I saw the Steve Bannon clip. Can we play it? I want to make sure we play the right one. I’ve got a few clips from Steve, and I lost track here as I’ve gotten ready for the show. You got the right one? Got it. Going to sentencing to jail. Do you remember all that? The odds look long. Was it the Santa’s crowd laughing at you? Was Fox News laughing at you? Were the Democrats, they had the director’s chairs up there with Rachel Maddow and all that crowd up there in front of New York City, in front of Jack Smith’s when they were bringing people in, laughing in your face. Did odds not look long then? Yes, they did. They looked impossibly long. That’s what nobody, the Europeans say it today. Nobody thought Trump was coming back. That’s why they treated Trump like dirt. That’s why they treated MAGA like dirt. They never, ever envisioned coming back, winning the House, the Senate, changing the judiciary, particularly the Supreme Court, and Trump returning as commander-in-chief with expanded Article II powers because the years in the wilderness, everybody pulled together, thought this thing through, and said, here’s how we’re going to have days of thunder. When we return, we’re going to flood the zone. So we’ve hit a speed bump. And I’m the first to say you need to focus on the 2026 midterms. And it looks grim, particularly if you look at the lack of energy and the lack of focus and the lack, quite frankly, of purpose of the traditional Republican Party, which still globs on to power.

One of my sons is MAGA to the core, and he gets so angry, he gets so mad at some of the political… that occur. He gets so disgusted with the lunatic Democrats who are doing so much to hurt our country. And he particularly gets enraged at rhinos, Republicans in name only, who hate Donald Trump and despise MAGA. And usually I’m telling him to not be consumed by it all. Don’t get so emotionally distraught that it ruins your day. Well, it was interesting because I’m pretty good at keeping things in perspective. But last night, my gosh, after seeing what 21 Indiana Republicans did in the state Senate there and realizing what a scoundrel looks like, there’s not a good reason to oppose redistricting. And I’m hoping… that the 21 Trump-hating Republicans, undoubtedly Mike Pence-inspired Republicans in Indiana who voted against the redistricting, I’m hoping that this lights a fire under the legislatures in Virginia and South Carolina and Florida. Maybe it’s going to backfire. Just maybe what these… cowardly Republicans did to MAGA in exposing to the country what they’re about. And we know that’s what it’s about. Again, we know what Democrats do with redistricting. As Scott Jennings pointed out last night, these guys on the left, the Democrats, are ruthless and they’re masters at gerrymandering. They know how to do it. We’re just, you know, a bunch of pikers. Here was Scott last night on CNN.

Republicans are rookies when it comes to redistricting. We are nowhere near as practiced or ruthless when it comes to redistricting as these Democrats. You get state after state after state where Republicans have virtually no representation in Congress at all. Illinois is already one of the most, if not the most, gerrymandered state in the nation. So, look, if this winds up being a wash. You know, we’ll have to play the hands we’re dealt here. But make no mistake, gerrymandering is a Democratic skill set. Republicans are still pikers when it comes to this. But I got to tell you, what you heard tonight is what they’re going to do. They’re ruthless. Democrats have shut down the government. They’ve told the military to stop following orders. They’re trying to redraw maps. This is the future with Democrats, a ruthless kind of politics, and Republicans better wake up to it.

That’s a great word to use. The word is ruthless. They are ruthless on the left, and Republicans like these 21 diabolical Republicans in Indiana, they just don’t – I mean, they’re a different kind of ruthless because their ruthlessness comes from their secret desire to roll back the clock and go back to the good old days of the GOP establishment. As I say to you over and over and over again, they don’t hate Trump. They hate you and me. They hate the movement that Trump created, which isn’t going anywhere. You think J.D. Vance isn’t MAGA? What do you think is going to happen in 2028 and beyond? I’m really impressed with the lieutenant governor of Indiana, Republican Micah Beckwith. Here’s a statement that he posted on social media. He said, one of the traits I have the least tolerance for is disloyalty. For years, Donald J. Trump fought harder for Hoosier values and American values than any president in my lifetime. He delivered the most pro-life judiciary in modern history, culminating in the overturning of Roe v. Wade. He brokered historic peace in the Middle East. through the Abraham Accords. He rebuilt our military, stood unapologetically with our war fighters, and let them do their job. He secured the southern border, unleashed American energy, cut taxes, slashed regulations, stood up to China, and put America first, not global elites or bureaucrats. And for that? He was vilified, smeared, dragged through endless lawfare. His family and his business were targeted. His life was threatened, and he was nearly assassinated. All for what? So that Indiana politicians could grow timid? So that Indiana political careerists could retreat? So that last night the Indiana Senate could effectively tell a president who fought for us, go to hell? That’s not just what they said to Donald Trump, Micah Beckwith wrote. That’s what they said to the MAGA movement. That’s what they said to the grassroots. That’s what they said to future generations of Hoosiers who expect courage from their leaders. Yesterday, the Indiana Senate faced a simple choice. Stand and fight a Marxist movement or choose dishonor. Those 21 chose dishonor. And as history has shown time and time again, those who choose dishonor will still get the fight. The war didn’t start today, but today made it unmistakably clear who is willing to stand and who isn’t. I’m going to read the list of the 21 Republicans who voted with Hakeem Jeffries and voted with the Democrats. to fail to deliver two more congressional seats to the GOP in the state of Indiana. And I would, again, caution you. When you say that Republicans don’t want to fight, they’re timid, they’re sort of mopey establishment types, oh, no, no, no. I think this goes way deeper than that. This is a fight on their behalf. They believe that they can destroy the movement that Trump created. They want to get him impeached. They want to have him go to prison. And they want to destroy everything this man has accomplished. This president, who is arguably one of the most consequential and successful presidents in the history of the country. Steve Bannon addressed it yesterday on his War Room podcast.

They want to get rid of Trump. They don’t mind sacrificing the House to take care of Trump. Today, it couldn’t be more evident. Let’s just say what it is. This is the Bush faction. This is Mike Pence, Judas Pence and that crowd. Todd Young, who’s been a hater from day one. Todd Young telling people, hey, I’ll get you the money. Don’t worry about Lasavita. They’re all blowhards anyway. We’re Indiana and we’ll hang together and get it. If this is not a wake-up call, because we talked today about how this could drive momentum. It could actually get people excited in Virginia. The Commonwealth of Virginia has absolutely no energy right now. As you know, we’ve still got Florida to go, Ohio. We’ve got to nail in Kansas. I mean, this is going to be a tractor pull, and the Democrats tonight are going to be dancing on Donald Trump’s political grave.
