SPEAKER 02 :
So big breaking news. President Trump sort of… almost casually mentioning to the folks on the curvy couch of Fox & Friends, we got the killer. We got Charlie Kirk’s killer. Let’s play this. This is just moments ago. We’re standing by. The original time of the press conference was supposed to be five or six minutes ago, but now I’m being told, that the press conference has been moved to 23 minutes from now. So we’re going to carry it for you. You’re not going to miss a word. Last night, of course, out of Orem, Utah, we saw the video clips of the killer jumping off the building, him running after he had put the bullet in Charlie Kirk’s neck from approximately 200 yards away. on the campus, this college campus out of Orem, Utah, will now, as President Trump revealed moments ago on Fox News Channel, the killer has been caught. Yeah.
SPEAKER 05 :
Can I always say, I think just to protect us all. And so Fox doesn’t get sued and we all don’t get sued and everything else. But I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him in custody. Right. In custody. Everyone did a great job. We worked with the local police, the governor. Everybody did a great job. You know, getting somebody that you start off with absolutely nothing. And we started off with a clip that made him look like an ant that was almost useless. We just saw somebody up there. And so much work has been done over the last two and a half days. You know, it’s amazing, actually, when you start off with that and then all of a sudden you you get lucky or talent or whatever it is. But, yeah, we’re I think we’re in great shape. That’s the person he’s in custody.
SPEAKER 02 :
Your suspicion was that he was radical left. And now you have more information. What can you share with us about his ideology?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, Lars, let me just. And by the way, Lars is doing a good job.
SPEAKER 02 :
What’s going on?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, I’ll tell you what. I’m very proud of you. I said you were going to do well. But yeah, I think that I don’t want to go too far. I’d like to tell you some stories that how it happened. But essentially, somebody that was very close to him turned to me. And that happens when you had some of those good shots. Somebody is going to say whether it’s a parent or whatever. I’d rather not say right now. They’re going to announce it today. Sometime later, probably talk about that. But somebody close to him turned and they said, whoa, it’s interesting. Well, we had very good pictures, but not great, not perfect. And when you look at it, what happened is somebody and this happens a lot. It happened with the crazy Boston bomber. It happened with others. Somebody that slows recognizes even a little tilt of the head, which nobody else would do. And somebody that was very close to him said, hmm, that’s him. And. essentially went to the father, went to a U.S. marshal, who was fantastic, by the way, and the person was involved with law enforcement, but was a person of faith, a minister, and brought him to… A U.S. marshal who was fantastic, and the father convinced the son, and this is it. And again, I’m always subject to be corrected, but I’m just giving you, based on what I’m hearing, they’ll give you a much more active. I just heard about it five minutes before I walked in. As I’m walking in, they said, looking real good. They have the person that they wanted, so…
SPEAKER 02 :
Wow. Wow. Now, first of all, the mainstream media is going to lose their mind. They can’t believe that President Trump went on Fox & Friends and scooped the FBI. I mean, he announced this to the hosts on Fox & Friends before… The FBI did. Now, look, this is a litmus test. Depending on your point of view, you either think this is a good thing or a bad thing. I don’t know, and I don’t care. Mark and I were joking. Tonight, President Trump’s going to do the weather. And then this weekend, he’s going to do a sportscast. But, wow, this is really good news. And we are standing by. We’ll carry the press conference for you out of Orem, Utah. and hopefully confirmation that our friend’s killer has been captured and will face justice. And frankly, maybe I sound bloodthirsty, hate it for you if that’s how I feel, but that’s how I feel. Nothing short of the death penalty will suffice. Nothing short of the death penalty. And I have a hunch, knowing how Charlie’s assassination has impacted this administration, that the death penalty is certainly going to be on the horizon when this monster is brought to justice. All right, let’s turn it over to you. Boy, we’re living through quite a week, aren’t we? It’s Friday, September the 12th, 2025, here in the Relief Factor Studios. Our number, our phones are open for you. I want to get your reaction to all of this. There’s so much to cover today. The I Am Charlie Kirk theme is spreading throughout the land. It’s amazing. So many people, T-shirts, posts on social media, all kinds of people from all walks of life. People, do you realize how Charlie’s assassination has radicalized millions of people? Radicalized in a positive way. We can’t put up with the rot anymore. And there’s a lot of rot out there. There’s a poison out there. There’s a cancer. Have you seen the people celebrating The killing of Charlie Kirk? Teachers? A Secret Service agent? Mental health experts? Therapists? It’s obscene how many people are openly and actively reveling and are delighted… that somebody put a bullet into Charlie’s neck and killed him in front of thousands of horrified people. They’re willing to say out loud, this is a good thing. And these aren’t some rando, purple-haired freaks in their parents’ basement. A Secret Service agent. A teacher. A communications expert at a major league sports franchise. I mean, these are people of responsible positions. And they’re willing, ready, and able to say, I’m glad they killed him. In public. Out loud. Out. I am stunned. I am flabbergasted. It’s way worse than I thought it was going to be, but let’s find out what you think. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. That’s my number. I throw it wide open for you. It’s a Friday. We’ve had a tough, brutal week. But there’s therapy when you and I lean into each other. There’s therapy when we’re together, when we’re unified. I want you to join me, call or text, but tell me what you think about all of it as we stand by for an FBI update on the assassin of Charlie Kirk from Orem, Utah. 800-655-MIKE is our number. News that we were hoping and praying for has arrived. Authorities have announced that the… Alleged killer of Charlie Kirk has been captured. The assassin has been brought into custody. Let’s take you to Orem, Utah, where Governor Spencer Cox is beginning the press conference to make this news, this welcome announcement of justice being served on behalf of our friend and colleague, Charlie Kirk.
SPEAKER 08 :
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We got him. On the evening of September 11th. a family member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend who contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with information that Robinson had confessed to them or implied that he had committed the incident. This information was relayed to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office and scene investigators at Utah Valley University. This information was also conveyed to the FBI. Investigators reviewed additional footage video footage from UVU surveillance and identified Robinson arriving on UVU campus in a gray Dodge Challenger at approximately 8.29 a.m. on September 10th, in which he is observed on video in a plain maroon T-shirt, light-colored shorts, a black hat with a white logo, and light-colored shoes. When encountered in person by investigators in Washington County on September 12th in the early morning hours, Robinson was observed in consistent clothing with those surveillance images. Investigators interviewed a family member of Robinson who stated that Robinson had become more political in recent years. The family member referenced a recent incident in which Robinson came to dinner prior to September 10th, And in the conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU. They talked about why they didn’t like him and the viewpoints that he had. The family member also stated Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate. The family member also confirmed Robinson had a gray Dodge Challenger. Investigators identified an individual as the roommate of Robinson. Investigators interviewed that roommate, who stated that his roommate, referring to Robinson, made a joke on Discord. Investigators asked if he would show them the messages on Discord. He opened it and showed several messages to investigators and allowed investigators to take photos of the screen as each message was Robinson’s roommate. These photos consisted of various messages, including content of messages between the phone contact name Tyler with an emoji icon and Robinson’s roommate’s device. The content of these messages included messages affiliated with the contact Tyler stating a need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle in a bush, messages related to visually watching the area where a rifle was left, and a message referring to having left the rifle wrapped in a towel. The messages also refer to engraving bullets and a mention of a scope and the rifle being unique. Messages from the contact, Tyler, also mentioned that he had changed outfits. I know there has been speculation as well as to the writing on those casings, those bullet casings, and I believe we have that as well. And I will share that with you now. So the area north of Campus Drive Road where the suspect crossed over, you saw some of that in the video that we released last night, consists of a grassy area with trees on the edge of the UVU campus. Investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle wrapped in a dark-colored towel. The rifle was determined to be a Mauser Model 98 .30-06 caliber bolt-action rifle. The rifle had a scope mounted on top of it. Investigators noted inscriptions that had been engraved on casings found with the rifle. Inscriptions on a fired casing read, Notices Bulges, capital O-W-O, what’s this question mark? Inscriptions on the three unfired casings read, Hey Fascist, exclamation point, cat point. up arrow symbol, right arrow symbol, and three down arrow symbols. A second unfired casing read, O Bella Chow, Bella Chow, Bella Chow, Chow Chow. And a third unfired casing read, if you read this, you are gay, LMAO. We are indebted to law enforcement across the state who’s worked seamlessly together, local law enforcement, state law enforcement, and our federal partners with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We’re grateful for everyone who worked together in such a short amount of time to find this person and to bring justice. I want to thank the public who has been so engaged, reviewing videos, helping us with sending in tips, and helping us get to this point. I want to thank the family members of Tyler Robinson who did the right thing in this case and were able to bring him into law enforcement as well. I especially want to thank the family of Charlie Kirk, Erica, Charlie’s parents, his children. I want us to be thinking of them as we bring justice in this case. They will be involved in that justice. We will be working very closely with them as we move through this process as well. This is a very sad day for, again, for our country, a terrible day for the state of Utah. But I’m grateful that at this moment we have an opportunity to bring closure to this very dark chapter in our nation’s history. With that, I will now turn the microphone over to the director of the FBI, Kash Patel.
SPEAKER 02 :
That’s Governor Spencer Cox, press conference here in Orem, Utah. Mike Gallagher’s show.
SPEAKER 09 :
Thank you, Governor. This is what happens when you let good cops be cops. The FBI and our partners are proud to stand here today together to bring justice to the family of Charlie Kirk and honor his memory. I want to express my deep gratitude to President Trump, the Vice President, and the entire White House who have been so incredibly supportive with both resources and just personally to the FBI as a team. They had our backs the entire way, and I just want to express my gratitude for giving us the resources we need to operate in this space to bring this sort of justice at this sort of speed. In 33 hours, we have made historic progress for Charlie. Governor Cox, our partnership has been absolutely incredible these last few days. Our partnership will endure. Your state and local partners, your sheriffs, your DPS community, has been unbelievably impressive in the hardest of times. And a case like this cannot be solved, cannot be brought without partnering with your state and local authorities. The FBI has a certain role to play, and we will play that role, and we will lead out for the federal government. Governor Cox, we are so grateful for your state partnership that led out on this investigation. A little bit of the timeline. Charlie was shot at 1223 p.m. on Wednesday. The first FBI agents arrived on scene in 16 minutes with chiefs of police at 1239 and secured the scene. The FBI immediately launched fixed-wing assets. We utilize these assets to transport personnel, specialty technicians, hostage rescue teams. We also utilize these assets to go back and forth from the East Coast and here in Utah to transport forensic evidence and other evidence that will be analyzed and is being analyzed at our FBI laboratories in Quantico and other laboratories, including the ATF. At my direction, the FBI released the first set of FBI photos of the suspect at 10 a.m. local time on 9-11. Then, shortly thereafter, the FBI reward of $100,000 was released at 10.45 a.m. local. Myself and Deputy Director Bongino arrived on the scene at approximately 5.30 p.m. on 9-11. The governor led a press conference last night. At approximately 8 p.m., where am I direction, the FBI released a never-before-seen video of the suspect. We also released new images to the public of the suspect. And just last night, the suspect was taken into custody at 10 p.m. local time. In less than 36 hours, 33 to be precise, thanks to the full weight of the federal government and leading out with the partners here in the state of Utah and Governor Cox, the suspect was apprehended in a historic time period. And I want to highlight what Governor Cox said. This would not have been possible without you, the media, and you, the public. That’s why we went so public, so fast, and we’re so transparent, and we’re committed to that transparency. The crime scene, just a little bit there. It is a large crime scene. State and local authorities, along with federal authorities, processed that crime scene quickly. And I even had the ability to walk through that crime scene and walk through the steps the suspect took. to learn more about what was needed and what resources we needed to create a full picture for the FBI and leadership back in Washington. Furthermore, thankfully to state and local partners, forensic evidence has been seized and continues to be garnered. Forensic evidence has already been evaluated at FBI laboratories in Quantico and state and local authorities here. We will continue to process evidence as we see it, as we collect it, and we will continue to deliver it to Governor Cox and his team. Last night we had a total of approximately 7,000 interviews, excuse me, 7,000 leads. As of this morning, thanks to your great work, we have over 11,000 leads that were called in to the FBI. And we are running out every single lead that we can. Every one of those leads will be run out. The arrest is a testament to the dedication of good law enforcement being great and partnerships in law enforcement, which I’ve tried to highlight as my tenure as the director of the FBI. There is no better relationship for law enforcement than the FBI to partner with state and local authorities, and you’ve seen it here in these last few days. The FBI Salt Lake Field Office, along with our offices in LA, Phoenix, Denver, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, our headquarters component in Quantico, all participate in the FBI. I want to express my deep gratitude to the employees of the FBI, the men and women, the evidence response team tacticians, the special operators, the agents, the support staff. You have done monumental work in historic time. when the public, who had a right to demand such an expeditious solving of an investigation, the FBI answered that call diligently, critically important to our nation, and we delivered. And I’m proud to be their leader, and I’m proud to be the director of the FBI. This is very much an ongoing investigation, as the governor said, and we will continue to work with state and local authorities to develop the investigation, to provide them the evidence they need for their ongoing prosecutions, and we will be here to answer every call they absolutely have, as long as it takes, for as long as we need to find and apprehend whatever suspects were involved in this crime. Lastly, to my friend Charlie Kirk, Rest now, brother. We have the watch. And I’ll see you in Valhalla.
SPEAKER 02 :

SPEAKER 06 :
The last question he took, the last thing he talked about to people in Utah, thousands of people that wanted to come hear him, is that his message was one of love, of Jesus Christ, of his belief in prayer. And he talked about that from his heart. And you could feel it.
SPEAKER 03 :
In the Relief Factor studios on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 02 :
You know, that’s the part of Charlie Kirk’s life that we haven’t spent enough time on. His continual devotion to God, his love of Christianity, his ability and willingness to share his faith. In fact, he said it right before he was killed. He talked about the love of Jesus Christ right before he was killed. I mean, even the guy he was debating… has admitted that I was trying to tell him right before the bullet hit him that the left isn’t violent. Think of that. You want to talk about radicalization? And incidentally, I’ve been thinking a lot about how enthusiastic millions and millions and millions of Americans just became over voting out these… People on the left, I mean, this Jayapal or whatever her name is, she posted it on social media. It’s the guns. She actually posted that. It’s the guns. It’s a hunting rifle. Apparently the kind of gun that the killer used isn’t even something that the most staunch gun control advocate wants to get rid of. It was a hunting rifle. It’s the guns, she says. Until the Jayapals and the AOCs and the Elizabeth Warrens and the Chuck Schumers, until the people who don’t get it are voted out of office, we can’t get the country back. And so I want you to see and hear from the young man, the college kid, who is the last person to debate Charlie Kirk on this earth. who admitted to CNN the irony, the shame of him trying to make the case. Don’t worry, Charlie. The people on our side who don’t like you, we’re never violent. We don’t act violent. That’s what was being said before the bullet ripped into Charlie Kirk.
SPEAKER 11 :
And people have obviously pointed to the irony that… The point that I was trying to make is how peaceful the left was right before he got shot. And that only makes sense if we stay peaceful. And as much as I disagree with Charlie Kirk, I’m on the record for how much I disagree with Charlie Kirk. But, like, man, dude, he is still a human being. Have we forgotten that? Are we crazy?
SPEAKER 02 :
Wow. Wow. I mean, it’s like he realizes the jig is up. Even the young man who was debating Charlie, who disagreed with Charlie, who challenged Charlie, you could see it in his face. You could hear it in his voice. Yeah, that’s irony, all right. Because you’re wrong. This violence has to stop. And you want to know one way the violence has to stop? We’ve got to stop celebrating it. We’ve got to call it out. I have been appalled and absolutely blown away by all the people from various walks of life celebrating Charlie’s assassination. a teacher here, a mental health professional there, a communications expert for a professional sports franchise over here, a secret service agent over there. There’s a sickness. This evil has crept into people’s hearts and souls and minds. And this, to me, needs to be the emphasis. If MAGA was celebrating the killing of people we disagreed with, the deaths of our political and ideological opponents, that would be all the media would be covering morning, noon, and night. The sickness of MAGA, the twisted evil MAGA people who are cheering the death of of their political opponents who are celebrating, who are reveling. How long is it going to take for a GoFundMe page to come up for Tyler Robinson? How long will that take before somebody is going to say, just like they did for Luigi Mangione, just like they’ve done marching through the streets waving Hamas flags, and celebrating rapists and murderers and violence and death. You know the GoFundMe page is probably already up. People are going to contribute to Tyler Robinson’s legal defense. You know that’s going to happen. And it’s going to happen because there are many on the left, not all, maybe not most, but many on the left who are wallowing in the poison of death and violence. It’s coming from one side. Don’t give me this crap, this whataboutism. Don’t tell me that people on the right are cheering the murders and the deaths of people on the left. I understand that the actual degenerates who commit acts of violence can come from both sides, if you want to go down that road. I understand that there are people who are on the left, on the right, who take up a gun or a knife or a baseball bat and commit violent acts. We know that. We understand that. I’m talking about the celebration, the advocacy… Of death and murder. That’s what I’m talking. I want you to tell me how many people on the right sound like this. I’m going to take you to Seattle, Washington. I’ve been there a lot lately. It is a cesspool of progressive, violent people. You don’t believe me? Here’s a Seattle protester on TikTok.
SPEAKER 07 :
Do you support his death? I do. You support his death? You support Charlie Kirk being killed? Yes, I do. On the day he died, you’re here at a vigil for Charlie Kirk and you support his death? No, I don’t support a Nazi. Charlie Kirk wasn’t a Nazi. You support his shooter? You support Charlie Kirk’s shooter? Would you shoot somebody like Charlie Kirk?
SPEAKER 02 :
I would shoot him myself, the protester said. That’s a guy walking around willing to say that out loud. I would shoot him myself. How about a comedian? I don’t know what his name is. I don’t care. This guy is described as a comedian. This was after Brian Thompson was gunned down, reportedly by Luigi Mangione. Isn’t it just so refreshing to finally see an assassination pulled off successfully for once? I mean, talk about professionalism at the right time. That’s a comic. That’s a comic. Isn’t it wonderful? Isn’t it wonderful? This is the evil that we’ve allowed to creep into our… Look, I love what’s going on right now. Let me tell you what’s going on right now on social media. As awful as it is to watch it, and it is, it’s sick. My stomach gets into knots when I see these demons celebrating Charlie’s murder. You know what I like? There are now websites and there are people that are identifying who these people are, where they work, what they do for a living, and they’re getting fired left and right. You think a Secret Service agent gets to keep his job for saying that Charlie got what he deserved? A Secret Service agent named Anthony Pough, P-O-U-G-H. I don’t know how you pronounce it, Pough or Pough, P-O-U-G-H. He posted to his Facebook page over Charlie’s killing, you can’t circumvent karma, she doesn’t leave. He got what he deserved. Matthew Dowd over at MSNBC. Oh, hate speech, you give hate speech, you get killed. He got fired. All these school administrators and teachers, mental health professionals, mental health professionals. Charlie got what he deserved. Well, guess what? They’re getting fired. They’re getting what they deserved. They don’t deserve to be hurt. They don’t deserve to be killed. They don’t deserve to be injured. They don’t deserve to be beat up. But having accountability for embracing evil, how any of these people can look in the mirror and say, I’m a good person for believing evil. that I can celebrate Charlie Kirk’s assassination publicly. And I’m righteous, and I’m correct, and I am good. Because I will give you a reality check if you feel that way. You are not righteous. You are evil. And you should seek help. Something has broken in your life, just like something broke in Tyler Robinson’s life. Bullets marked with the inscription, Hey, Fascist, Catch. Well, Tyler Robinson, I guess you got your wish. Charlie Kirk caught a bullet in his neck, and he bled out in front of his family, his friends, his supporters. But you have caught a lifetime of hell on earth. You have caught an eternity of damnation. You have caught what you deserve. You’ve destroyed your family’s life. You’ve destroyed your life. And you have created millions of Charlie Kirks. You have created a movement that will be unstoppable. You mark my words. The movement that Charlie Kirk created has grown exponentially overnight. Overnight. The midterm elections won’t even be close. Won’t even be close. You think Democrats were enthusiastic about voting next year? You haven’t seen anything yet. You haven’t seen anything yet. And the tide is turning. Something has changed. Something has clicked finally with people. These are not just fringe people. You look at the category of people calling for the joyful reaction to Charlie’s death. Look, these people on the left who wish for death, who wish to kill Charlie, their opponents, who want their political adversaries dead? You think the governor of Minnesota is a purple-haired freak in a basement of his mommy? No, this is the governor of Minnesota recently.
SPEAKER 01 :
Tim Walz. You get up in the morning and you doom scroll through things, and although I will say this, the last few days you woke up thinking there might be news. Just saying. Just saying. There will be news sometime. Just so you know, there will be news.
SPEAKER 02 :
Not only is the governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, joking about the president of the United States dying sooner rather than later. Those demons in the audience laughed at that. They thought that was funny. They thought that was clever. They thought that was righteous. But guess what? Tim Walz? And the Democrats and the demons on the left who are celebrating and cheering murder and violence and death and darkness, you’re about to see a righteousness. You’re about to see an uprising of people who will peacefully and righteously let their voices be heard and take this country back. This is Charlie Kirk’s assassination marks a turning point in America. And while I mourn for the death of my friend and colleague, while I’m shattered for Erica and her children and Charlie’s mom and dad, while I ache for the millions of young people who can’t believe Charlie was taken from us, I am grateful to see the way the tide will turn. And the tide will turn. We are all Charlie Kirk.

SPEAKER 02 :
This week has unfolded almost like a movie or a book. And we’ve had sort of a rollercoaster ride where we watched the brutal assassination of Of a guy that I was texting with just a short time ago, my last text with Charlie involved me sending him a clip from X featuring a baby Charlie Kirk. You know how they do these videos now where they have little babies who are adult characters? Well, there was a tweet. In fact, I should reach out to this Kathleen Winchell. She would appreciate that Charlie saw it and loved it. I sent Charlie her post, a baby Charlie Kirk. This is brilliant. And it shows a little baby with an orange. I like to say Clemson orange, but I think it’s actually the Texas orange. But a Clemson orange sweatshirt. And I sent it to Charlie, and he immediately wrote back, LOL, and did a… Thumbs up. He loved it. Got a kick out of it. I’m texting my friend one day and the next day I’m talking about his funeral. And we will certainly be in Phoenix to pay tribute. Homage and respect to Charlie and his family, and we likely will bring the show with us to Phoenix later next week. I think the funeral is being scheduled for next weekend, as President Trump announced. President Trump said he’ll be there, too. But this has all just played out, and now we have the breaking news that a 22-year-old named Tyler Robinson has been arrested and charged with his assassination. He is described as filled with hate. Authorities said that he had written Antifa messages on the shell casings. And I just want to, with all of this news, and we’re going to learn everything there is to know about this guy, I’m sure. I promise you there’ll be the GoFundMe page that we’re lunatics and evil, monstrous, dark, soulless creatures. will believe that he needs to have contributions to support his legal defense over this diabolical action that did so much harm to our country. But I want to focus right now on some positivity. I want to talk a little bit about love. The kind of love we saw as J.D. Vance, the Vice President of the United States, lovingly escorted Charlie’s body to Air Force Two yesterday. J.D. Vance was actually one of the participants in carrying the casket to the plane with a grieving young widow, Erica Kirk, her hand over her mouth, dressed in black Undoubtedly disbelieving the nightmare that she’s in. The love story that has been chronicled about the way Charlie met her. And they bonded over lunch or a meal. And he was initially going to hire her at Turning Point USA. And after he spent hours with her, he then said, I can’t hire you. And she said, that’s okay, I’ve still got my business. Apparently she had some kind of a business where she sold T-shirts, and for every T-shirt that was sold, another T-shirt was donated to the homeless, to people who didn’t have anything. And Charlie said, I can’t hire you at Turning Point USA, as the story goes. And she said, well, okay, I can live with that. That’s all right. I’ll go back to my T-shirt business in New York City. He said, no, no, no, you don’t understand. I can’t hire you because I want to date you. And she called her mom apparently and said, well, I didn’t get a job at Turning Point apparently, but I think I got a boyfriend. They fell in love. They married. They brought two beautiful children into the world. And now we are left with this. I want to share with you Sage Steele, a message posted on X. expressing her love for Charlie Kirk. I want to talk about love. You know, the irony, there’s a lot of irony going on right now. Patricia Heaton, a woman who I’ve never met, but I admire her. She’s an actress. She was one of the stars of Everybody Loves Raymond. But I follow her on X. And she posted this week, after Charlie’s assassination, the most violent rhetoric is always from people who have phrases like choose kindness in their bios. It’s true. It’s true. Some of the most violent people in the country pretend to be kind. They’re not kind. They’re not kind at all. Here’s Sage Steele, who’s a prominent conservative influencer, expressing her love, her admiration for Charlie on X. I still have no idea what the right words are right now to describe what has happened today, too.
SPEAKER 10 :
In my opinion, one of the greatest Americans ever. You can disagree with me on that, but I’ve said it for the last couple of years that I saw the difference Charlie Kirk was making in going around to college campuses to talk to the youth, to talk to the future of America, to have a conversation, which is what so many people are unwilling and are afraid to do. But Charlie wasn’t. And he went around these college campuses and he let kids speak, let them say what was on their mind, give their opinion, and then He gave his with facts as well. He did what so many people refused to do. He is the reason why my kids decided they wanted to have an interest in politics and at least be educated. Most importantly, he was such a man of God. Charlie Kirk is one of the reasons that I’m no longer afraid to wear this. I didn’t for such a long time. And he gave me the courage to do so. That’s what he led with, his faith in God, his love for his wife, his love for his children. And that was his goal, to make this country a better place for his kids and yours and mine. I am heartbroken, I am devastated, and I am livid. What they want is for us to have fear and to go hide because of things like this. And maybe in some ways, I don’t know, maybe we should. We have to do things differently, certainly. But Charlie knew the risk. Every day, he had security detail with him. And sometimes nothing can protect us from evil. I know this too, though. Charlie would not want us to go hide and to be quiet and to run away from the evil, from the people that hate us, who happen to be the same people who preach about diversity of thought and tolerance and look. They kill him because they don’t like his opinions. And they don’t like the fact that he was winning. Charlie Kirk already won. It is our loss and the world’s loss today. But man, God’s plan for Charlie. Look what he did in 31 short years. Thank you, Charlie Kirk, for everything. For giving up your life for us. And Erica… You have millions praying for you. I love you. We love you. And guess what? We’re not going away. We’re going to be here for Charlie.
SPEAKER 02 :
Here for Charlie, said Sage Steele. And I love those words. I love every bit of that. And I know we’re grieving and we’re hurting. But look, good will prevail. Good will triumph over this evil. Yeah, there’s a lot of people that are losing their jobs left and right because they are doing the unthinkable reaction and celebrating Charlie’s death. Thankfully, when the institutions they work for find out about it, they’re taking action. They’re firing these people. These people are being shamed. These people are being Exposed for the creatures they are. But I want to spend this hour not talking about Charlie’s senseless killing. I want to talk about love. I want to talk about what makes this country so great. Something is changing in this country right now. You see it. You sense it. People’s eyes are being opened. People are suddenly realizing, as Sage Steele put it, Charlie was killed because of his words. He was killed because of his beliefs. He was killed because of his opinions. Opinions that are shared by millions and millions of people. Liz Wheeler wrote on social media, Charlie was normal. You’re normal. Charlie wasn’t radical. He wasn’t extreme. He wasn’t bombastic. He wasn’t even edgy. He was a regular guy. One of us. And the left killed him for that. How many people woke up today with the chilling clarity that, given the chance, the left wants you dead too? Liz Wheeler wrote an incredible red wave Thank you, Liz. Thank you, Sage. And thank everybody who has been expressing your messages of love and support during this difficult time for all of us here at Salem Media, for all of us here at the Mike Gallagher Show who knew and loved Charlie. We’re going to get this country back. And maybe it took a young martyr. And, yes, Charlie was martyred for his views. Maybe it took his senseless assassination. to return this country to where it once was. Our number is 800-655-MIKE. 18 past the hour. We’re in the Relief Factor studios of Breaking News Friday. I’m so glad you’re here. 800-655-MIKE. What a spectacular job law enforcement, the FBI, the authorities did in apprehending 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. 33 hours from the time Charlie was killed to the time they got this guy in custody. 33 short hours. Bravo. Bravo, law enforcement. Job well done.
