Dive into the dynamic world of protests with Mike Gallagher as he discusses the recent ‘No Kings’ protests that erupted across America. While millions took to the streets, Mike offers a unique perspective on the value of peaceful protest as an American tradition. With a keen focus on accountability, Mike sheds light on both commendable expressions of free speech and those despised for their hatred and aggression.
SPEAKER 09 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m kind of annoyed at myself, actually. I come to work, I’m supposed to have a head full of steam because I know that there are people in my world who are like real agitated about the No Kings protest Saturday. And I’m not even the least bit upset about it. And I wonder why. I hope I’m not losing my mojo. I don’t care at all. In fact, it was all fine. There were a lot of bad actors, and they seemed to get isolated, and they’ve been outed by people with cell phones. A lot of teachers doing despicable things, making a shooting in the neck motion to some kids that supported Charlie Kirk. That’s classy, huh? Turns out she’s a teacher in the Chicago public schools. An activist got up and said, you got to get guns and we got to start murdering ICE officials, ICE officers in the streets. He got exposed. Even somebody who went to a, I guess a football game somewhere where Winsome Sears appeared and the guy yelled, go back to Haiti. Go back to Haiti. Called her a traitor. He’s been identified. Apparently he’s got a kid who plays on the football team at the game that Winsome Sears was attending. So there were examples of really bad faith, nasty, lousy, rotten, miserable people. And they’ve been exposed. They’ve been identified. They’ve been exposed. I think there’s a lot of accountability going on in a lot of offices. Monday morning, I think you saw a whole lot of people who were happily being taken to task or not so happily taken to task for what they did. But in terms of the overall no kings protest idea, I want to share this with you. And I want to see if you are with me. Maybe you’re not. Let them have their day. They got nothing. They can’t change anything. They can’t accomplish anything. They can’t substantively end the trajectory of what’s happening right now in America. But protest is something that we as a country ought to cherish. Now, certainly not the despicable things we saw all weekend on social media from people like the Chicago teacher with the bullet to the neck gesture. I’m talking about the vast majority of people who marched around with signs, I hate Trump, I hate his policies, I hate ICE, I hate what’s going on. So what? Let them do their thing. What’s the harm? I kept thinking about the unthinkable. And we don’t have to spend a lot of time on this, but I do want to spend a few minutes on it because I want to make sure you think I’m not going bonkers here. If the unthinkable occurred and Kamala Harris won, and on Saturday, October 18th of 2025, during a Kamala Harris presidency where Lord only knows what would be happening in our country, If several million people gathered in the streets of America representing MAGA, we’d say, wow, that’s a good thing. Look at what we were able to do. Incidentally, the number given was 7 million people, but that came from the organizers. So I don’t trust that number. Cut that in half. It’s probably 3 million people. Three and a half, I don’t know, but several million people. So several million people took to the streets Saturday here in Tampa Bay, Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, all over the country. I think they have like 220 locations. Good. Good for them. I’m not trying to be a smart aleck here, and I’m not trying to be a provocateur here. I watch people get all agitated about this, and I thought, gosh, I better be mad about it. Oh, I guess I gotta be upset. Oh, I gotta… And I’m not. Let them have their day. Let them express their frustration. They’re having a hard time dealing with the success of the first nine months of the Trump administration. And it has been enormously successful. You can’t You can’t refute that. You may not like the success, but in terms of policy accomplishments, Mike Johnson put it best. He was on ABC this week and pointed out that these nine months that we’ve witnessed in the second Trump term have been as successful the start of any presidency in our lifetime.
SPEAKER 02 :
So no oversight going on, no oversight hearings. I want to ask. Oh, there’s wait. There is oversight. There are no committee hearings going on. There’s nothing.
SPEAKER 06 :
Just two days ago on Friday, the House Oversight Committee released the third batch of Epstein files. The documents from the Epstein estate that includes, by the way, his personal phone logs, his travel logs, his financial documents and even his daily calendar. That stuff is happening right now.
SPEAKER 02 :
We don’t need to be on the House floor to do that. So Steve Bannon likened the Congress to the Russian Duma, which of course is just a rubber stamp for Vladimir Putin. How do you respond to that? I think this is a absurd notion.
SPEAKER 06 :
We have unified government. American people put Republicans in charge of the White House, the Senate, and the House. We are delivering for the people. You can make an argument. The first nine months of this Congress and this administration were the most successful, productive in history. Think of it. Think of the split screen, what’s happening right now. President Trump and Republicans reduced taxes, reduced regulations to get the economy going again. Ending the crime crisis. Ending the border crisis. He’s resolving wars and conflicts around the globe. What have Democrats done? They shut the government down.
SPEAKER 02 :
But oversight. I mean, I never really hear you raise critical questions of anything that President Trump is doing. Do you, at least in private, raise issues with… Yes, this is…
SPEAKER 06 :
This is what unified government looks like. The president and I talk sometimes multiple times every day.
SPEAKER 02 :
Congress is still a check on the executive branch.
SPEAKER 06 :
Congress is more than a check on the executive branch. We’re the Article I body in the Constitution. We have a preeminent responsibility, and I take that seriously. A lifelong constitutional attorney and somebody who’s been a jealous advocate of it. The president and I talked all the time about policies and decisions and all of that. We do that behind closed doors because that’s what party leaders do when you’re in the same party. It’s called unified government. The reason we’ve been so productive is because we do that so well and we’re delivering for the American people.
SPEAKER 07 :
Calm, cool and collected. And he’s right. And it’s arguably the most successful, productive, effective first nine months of any presidency of any administration we’ve ever seen. So my message to the No Kings protesters, and I want to get your reaction to it here in the Relief Factor studios. And please, I’m really, really urging you to call me to give me your feedback to how I feel today on this Monday, October 20th, 2025. To the No Kings protesters who were peaceful. to the No Kings protesters who just don’t like the direction of the country, and you decided to take your Saturday and march around and express your dissatisfaction? Good for you. Good for you. Thanks for not killing anybody. Thanks for not shooting anybody. Oh, yeah, they found a hunter’s lair, a sniper’s lair, near the Palm Beach airport where President Trump gets out of the plane to go to Mar-a-Lago. You know they’re going to do everything they can to keep this guy safe. They must keep this man safe. There’s a lot of violent, awful people. A lot of evil in the world. But I don’t believe for one minute that most of the millions of people who took to the streets Saturday are evil or violent. I think they’re just ticked. They’re just upset. They don’t like deportations. They don’t like success. Trump’s successful nine months is their worst nightmare. So let them have their day. Nothing has changed. It hasn’t moved the needle. I’ve given up trying to figure out what they were trying to accomplish. Nobody can tell me. Not even people who supported the No Kings protest. Nobody can tell me what they hope to achieve. So I’ve given up on that. And I truly believe we ought to embrace the recognition that protest is an American value. Peaceful protest is a tradition that is steeped in this great country of ours. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with men, women, and children taking to the streets and signaling their objection to an election outcome that they didn’t approve of. So what? Let them have their day. And I would even take it a step, good for you. Good for you. There’s nothing wrong with what happened Saturday. Am I wrong here? You don’t think I’m going soft, do you? Because I’m starting to, I have to admit, I’m driving into work today thinking, this is how I feel. This is my heart. I got to share with you because I’m a big, I got a big mouth. And this is what I do. I think and I say it. But the bottom line is Republicans are in control. Republicans are likely to stay in control. And there’s just not a doggone thing any of those people can do about it other than express their frustration. And we shouldn’t condemn people for expressing their frustration that way. We just shouldn’t. It makes us look petty and small and kind of stupid. Let them have their day.
SPEAKER 08 :

SPEAKER 09 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 07 :
There were some pretty ugly moments at the No Kings protests on Saturday throughout America. The No Kings organizers claimed that 7 million people showed up. If they’re claiming that number, it’s probably about half. But nonetheless, a lot of people from Seattle to Tampa to New York to L.A. took to the streets to march around and protest. object, I guess, to the Trump presidency. I don’t exactly know what the point is. I’ve given up trying to figure it out. I’ve given up asking people to tell me what the point was other than to vent and to express frustration and to peacefully protest your objection to the Trump administration. Okay, nothing wrong with that. That’s a good thing. That’s not a bad thing. Now, there were some really awful moments. And thankfully, a lot of the people who participated in ugliness were exposed. Did you see the woman mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination, who’s been identified as a Chicago public schools teacher? Now, I don’t know that I think it’s true. It appears to be. She clearly wanted attention, so now she’s getting it. The school that she teaches at, K-8, she teaches little kids. And a group of young kids had a Charlie Kirk poster hanging out of the car, and she made a shooting motion into her neck. She’s a rather large, loud woman. And we’ve got the video clip, I believe, right, Jasmine? This is cut number seven, I believe. This is Lucy, well, I don’t want to say her name. I mean, she’s been identified as Lucy Martinez of the Chicago public school system. Teaches at a school, something, I think it’s Nathan Hale Elementary. People recognize her from the video. If you’re watching right now on Salem News Channel, As the kids were driving by with the Charlie Kirk sign, here’s what she did. Now, the video shows her saying bang, bang to the kids with the Charlie Kirk sign and pointing to her neck, mocking this young husband and father’s assassination. Now, if the reports are correct… Lucy is a schoolteacher in the Chicago Public School District, in the school system, K through 8. How would you like to have a child in that monster’s classroom? How would you like to have a teacher who’s capable of of pointing her finger to her neck and saying bang, bang to a car full of kids who love and support Charlie Kirk. Look, I’m not a big fan of doxing, where people get exposed in terms of who they are and where they work. But when they act this way, there ought to be some accountability, right? When they act that way, there should absolutely be accountability. Should there not? This woman has some explaining to do. And the principal of the school, as I understand it, probably another flaming lib, probably another Karen, another… liberal woman said, well, we’ve had a talking to with the teacher, and that banging, that assassination imagery does not comport with how we feel at Nathan Hale Elementary here in Chicagoland. Oh, really? Is she going to continue to get to teach? Should she continue to be a teacher of young children? What? So there were moments like that. There was the guy, an activist, I think also in Chicago. It looked like the real ugly stuff happened in Chicago. I don’t know where this one’s from. The No Kings protesters seem to be particularly aggravated at Charlie Kirk. Now, Charlie’s dead. They murdered him. They assassinated Charlie. But apparently some of them still can’t let it go. Check out this beauty. Cut number five.
SPEAKER 13 :
We need to get ourselves together. And we might even need to be a little bit meaner because the Republicans don’t mind being mean.
SPEAKER 12 :
And by mean, what do you mean? Do you mean protesting? Do you mean maybe we have to stop being so nice? Because you seem like a pretty nice lady. I’m a pretty nice lady, but I can be pretty mean, too. Okay, and I have to ask this because people on the other side are going to say that they feel like the Democrat Party has been mean. Recently, with Charlie Kirk being assassinated, they… Charlie Kirk is a piece of garbage. Of course we were mean.
SPEAKER 13 :
I am so tired of people saying, oh, but, you know, it’s a terrible thing. No, Hitler is dead. I’m glad Hitler’s dead. Evil people have no place in… In my world, he was a hateful human being. It was disgusting, the things that he said and did. I don’t have time for that. I’m sorry. I have to point my energy in other directions.
SPEAKER 07 :
Now, if you’re watching her, she looks like she’s, what, 60s? Got a nice fedora on, well-dressed woman. Looks like she’s had some plastic surgery. She’s got to be somebody’s wife, wouldn’t you think? Somebody’s mother? I wonder if she has children, maybe Charlie’s age. I wonder how she would feel if she had a chance to talk to Charlie’s mom and dad. Standing there holding her stupid sign, saying, I think Democrats have to be a little meaner. And oh yeah, Charlie Kirk is Hitler. He’s dead. I’m glad Hitler’s dead. Charlie Kirk is a piece of garbage. And they think they’re the nice guys. They think they’re the ones who are righteous. They think they’re the good guys. She probably has a sign in her yard saying hate has no place here. Now, those are some examples of people who… clearly went off the rails. I hope, frankly, I hope she’s identified. I hope the teacher is identified. I hope the guy with the bullhorn saying you should take up guns and kill ICE officers, I hope he’s identified. Because at the end of the day, there needs to be accountability for people who act like monsters. But let’s be real for a moment and talk about the No Kings protest from 35,000 feet. Most of the people didn’t act that way, I’ve got to believe. Most of the people aren’t that psycho. Most of the people marching around were probably people who just don’t like the direction of the country. And so they’re marching around saying, no kings, we don’t want an emperor, we don’t like the direction of the country, we don’t like the outcome of the election. Okay, good for you. There’s no reason for us to get upset at those people. I’m talking about the peaceful people. The majority of people who just walked around with a sign saying no kings. Good for you. Protest is an American institution. Peaceful protest is something we should cherish. And if you want to take to the streets because you’re so upset about the nine months of the Trump presidency, which I think a lot of normal people are celebrating and cheering because of the incredible success it has achieved so far, If you don’t like it, okay, you have every right not to like it. It’s America. If there really was a king, you wouldn’t be allowed to stand there in the middle of Times Square with your stupid sandwich board. But you did. There’s no kings. We’re not England. We’re not a monarchy. Yeah, you don’t like the mass deportation. Yeah, you don’t like the secure border. You don’t like ICE. You don’t like cops. You don’t like law enforcement. We get it, we get it, we get it. But for not, there’s nothing wrong with respecting disagreement. Now, what that old shrew did in attacking Charlie, calling him a piece of garbage, a young man who was just killed weeks ago, and she can’t keep her filthy mouth shut and keep his name out of her mouth and restrain herself. That’s not disagreement. That’s evil, putrid, vapid hatred. She’s just got a black heart. Her kids ought to be ashamed of her. Her husband ought to be disgusted. Her friends ought to be sickened that they count her among their friends. But to sit around and condemn all the people who are marching around, to sit around and mock all of them and say they’re stupid and they’re weird and they’re what? No, let them have their day. You know, enjoy your life. If you are that miserable and unhappy, if you’re that uncomfortable with where we are as a country, okay, peacefully protest and then Godspeed. It’s the weirdest feeling that I have where I cannot even muster any anger, any frustration, any negativity about the No Kings Day. Good for them. Knock yourself out. Am I wrong? 800-655-MIKE. Give me your feedback. Give me your reaction. Did the No Kings protests upset you? Now, clearly, what that woman said and what the teacher did in Chicago, there were some vile, horrible, individual acts that are worth condemning. But overall, why be upset about… Thousands of people or millions of people take into the streets to express their frustration. We ought to cherish disagreement, not shoot it down. You think I’m right? 800-655-6453. Call or text. Join us here on the Mike Gallagher Show. Every single day, it’s a joy to remind you that portions of our show are sponsored by MyPillow. There’s some breaking news from that teacher out of Chicago who apparently is a teacher at the Nathan Hale Elementary School in the Chicago School District. I want to bring in Katie Gorka. She’s the chairwoman of the Fairfax GOP. She’s our good friend. She’s an American national security analyst. She happens to be married to the one and only Dr. Sebastian Gorka. She’s got a big bombshell. about voting processes in processes, you know, how you vote in Virginia. Katie, it’s great to have you back on the show. How have you been? So good to see you. It’s been too long. How are you? Way too long. Last time we hung out, we were on a cruise ship in Alaska, right? Exactly. It was amazing. It was a great, great trip. And I want to share with everybody what you’ve uncovered as chairman of the Fairfax GOP. This is a big deal. This is a huge deal. The Fairfax County’s Office of Elections created mail-in ballot envelopes. Before we get to that, I’m sure you’re a big social media purveyor. You and Seb are pretty active on social media. Seb, not so much now that he’s serving in the Trump administration again with counterterrorism. But there was a teacher. apparently, who made a Bullet gesture with her index finger to some young Charlie Kirk supporters. She put her index finger against her neck. We’ve got the video here. We can play it for our viewers on Salem News Channel. And she said, bang, bang, mocking Charlie’s brutal assassination. Of course, we know he took a bullet to the neck. She was identified as a teacher named Lucy Martinez from the Nathan Hale Elementary School. Well, the principal, Don Iles Gomez… has responded, Katie. Here is the response. Yesterday, I was made aware of an incident involving one of our teachers who participated in a community protest that was not affiliated with Nathan Hale Elementary School or the district. Now, you know what’s coming, right, Katie? They’re going to say, well, she was on her own time. She wasn’t doing this as a Tensions rose when individuals drove by the protest attempting to provoke participants. All the kids were doing that were driving by had a We Love Charlie Kirk sign. That’s all it was. In a moment of emotion, writes the principal, one of our teachers responded in a way that does not reflect the professionalism and respect we expect teachers From our staff. While this incident took place off school grounds and outside school hours, I have spoken directly with the teacher. And the matter has been addressed internally. Don Iles Gomez, Principal Nathan Hale Elementary School. Well, Katie, aren’t you relieved to know that the teacher was given a good stern talking to?
SPEAKER 01 :
It’s incredible the way the left makes excuses for themselves. Mike, we’re having a really similar situation here in Virginia. I’m sure you’ve heard this very controversial statements by our attorney general candidate, Jay Jones, who got called out for some texts that he sent a couple of years back, calling for two bullets to the head of Todd Gilbert, his fellow delegate. And calling for Todd Gilbert’s wife to be holding their two dead children. And not one Democrat has come out and asked Jay Jones to step down. They just make excuses. They’ll condemn the statement. They won’t condemn the man. I don’t know when when did the Democrats become this way? When did they get to where they’re justifying this kind of hateful violence? It’s outrageous.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and let’s stick with Virginia for just a moment. Winsome Earl Sears was at a football game Saturday at James Madison U. And there was a guy in the stands who has been identified as the father of one of the players. And he yelled to Winsome Sears, go back to Haiti. Go back to, what, because she’s a black woman? She happens to be from Jamaican. She’s a proud, naturalized citizen. As she tells in her speeches, her father immigrated legally from Jamaica with $1.75 in his pocket. But this bigoted, white, liberal, you know, Democrat shouted, go back to Haiti. And again, who’s condemning him in Virginia, Katie?
SPEAKER 01 :
Yeah, no, I know. It’s incredible. And we just see this constantly. Mike, I get the stories all the time from our volunteers for the Fairfax GOP who are there as greeters at election sites. You can’t believe the hate that they get. We have a great viral video, actually. I’ll have to send it to you. One of our House of Delegate candidates just a few days ago was standing there campaigning, and one of those liberal Karens came up to her and just shouted in her face so rude and but a good thing was our candidate got it on film and it went viral and you know look we have to call these people out if their fellow Democrats aren’t going to call them out we call them out and I really hope that the parents who have kids in the school of that teacher who said you know made that awful gesture about Charlie Kirk I hope those parents will speak up and say they don’t want that kind of person teaching their kids. It’s the only way we’re going to stop this.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, who would want anybody teaching their kids that would be that way? You’re not normal if you would think your child, your fifth grader, your sixth grader, your kindergartner, is okay in a classroom with such a hateful, evil, vile woman. We’re visiting, of course, with Katie Gorka, who is the chairman of the Fairfax GOP. Look, this is going to boil down to elections. We have to get people in office who are going to reject this kind of insanity, this kind of hatred, this kind of evil. And you guys have uncovered something at the Fairfax GOP office today. about the Fairfax County’s Office of Elections. They created mail-in ballot envelopes with a huge flaw. Walk us through what you’ve uncovered, Katie.
SPEAKER 01 :
Yeah, well, let’s talk about the fact that we’re still having to live with all the changes that were put in place under COVID. So one of them is we still have 45 days of early voting. Go figure. But the other is no excuse absentee ballots. So a lot of absentee ballots get sent out in Virginia. And what we just discovered last week is that there is a punch hole on the envelope that is supposed to be an aid to the visually impaired. And it just so happens that that punch hole lines up perfectly with the little voting bubble you would fill in if you were voting for the Republican Attorney General candidate, Jason Mayoress. And this is super important because I’m telling you, this race has been incredible. Nobody thought the Republicans were going to win in Virginia. But because of these texts that came out from Jay Jones, the race has really shifted. Just for example, Winsome Sears was down by 17 points in May. Today, she is within the margin of error, so she’s down by only 2.2. And actually, Jason Mayores, the current attorney general, is now five points ahead of Jay Jones, the Democrat candidate. So the fact that you can see whether a ballot has been submitted in favor of Jason Mayores means— Postal workers or, God forbid, even election workers could just pull that ballot and chuck it. And people are really, really concerned about this. This was a huge, serious mistake.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, voting in America contains a sacred principle of your ballot being secret. And if it’s not, then you’ve got anybody who can get in, see who you’re voting for, and toss your mail-in ballot into the trash. This takes me back to this ongoing argument, this never-ending argument I have in my own brain about, over mail-in voting versus in-person voting. Because, frankly, I think the Republican Party in general, writ large, we hurt ourselves when President Trump and Republicans said, you just got to show up. You got to show up. Don’t engage in the mail-in ballot. The problem is the Democrats have perfected early in mail-in voting, and they’ve got an advantage over us. So I think it feels like President Trump has sort of evolved on that subject. And he’s like, well, let’s go down any path we can. You’ve got to flood the ballot box any way you can. But where do you conclude on that issue, Katie? What do you think should be the proper course of action for a voter in Virginia, especially considering what you guys uncovered with these flawed ballots?
SPEAKER 01 :
Look, we just tell everybody, you know, we’ve got to just play by the rules as they current exist. If mail-in ballots are going to be used today, let’s use them to our best advantage. You know, one of the advantages of mail-in ballots from our perspective is it’s much easier to track down the people who haven’t sent them in and to encourage them to send them in. So I don’t think they’re terrible, but until we can get back in power and get rid of them altogether or prevent bring it back to a place where you have to have a legitimate reason for why you need an absentee ballot. You know, the bottom line is absentee ballots are one of the easiest ways to cheat. We just hear constant stories from around the country of, you know, an empty location where 12 absentee ballots are showing up, right? What’s happening with those absentee ballots? So what we are telling voters here in Fairfax County is still go ahead and send in your ballots, but just make sure that your vote is not showing up through that little hole. You bringing it in person or come vote in person. So there are ways to protect the privacy of your vote. But just we want people to be cognizant of this problem. And we want people to get out and vote. This is a super, super close rate. Republicans can win this, but we need people to come out and vote.
SPEAKER 07 :
You got to show up. You got to be engaged. And Katie, as we’re talking, I just got a text message from California. Mike, they’re doing the exact same thing with the punch holes and the way they line up in California, too.
SPEAKER 01 :
For the Proposition 50 vote, which is the big controversial redistricting vote in California. Absolutely. You know, and I have to tell you, when I saw this mistake in Fairfax County, I just thought, you know, human error. Right. But when I heard that the exact same thing is happening with the Prop 50 ballot, Mike, it’s enough to make you paranoid.
SPEAKER 07 :
Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean not everybody’s out to get you, Katie. That’s the way I look at it. Look, I keep hearing remarkable reports about the job you’re doing as chairwoman of the Fairfax GOP. And, of course, this is just the latest example of the great work you’re doing. Keep fighting the good fight, Katie. Give my best to your hubby and your family. And it’s great to catch up with you, Katie. I appreciate you joining us.
SPEAKER 01 :
Thank you, Mike. Thanks.
SPEAKER 07 :
You do the best. Katie Gorka with some great work out of Virginia. There’s a lot more coming up on this busy Breaking News Monday, 800-655-MIKE. I hope you join us. Have you seen who Zoran Mamdani is posing for pictures with? A big, grinning, friendly-looking guy, right? Shouldn’t be a disqualifier. Just, you know, you’re hanging out with, oh, I don’t know, terrorists. That and more coming up.
SPEAKER 09 :
The Mike Gallagher Show on Salem News Channel and the Salem Radio Network.
SPEAKER 11 :
When you were governor for eight years, your parole board released 43 cop killers back into the street. Your father, when he was governor, released none. I knew Mario Cuomo. You know Mario Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo.
SPEAKER 09 :
In the ReliefFactor.com studios, here’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 07 :
That buzzing you heard, incidentally, that was one of the moderators at the NYC mayor’s debate. They did a horrific job. They just interrupted Sliwa every chance they got. They practically just bowed down to Zoran Mamdani. Look, if the polling is correct, he’s gaining momentum. The more New Yorkers see of this guy, they apparently like him. And I know people, they’ll never set foot in New York City again. It’s going to get turned into such a hellscape. And what happens, we’re going to sit around and say, well, we told you. We told you so. Why are you surprised? Why is this taking you by surprise? A lot of violent people on the left, too. You know, I had the weirdest takeaway of these No Kings protests Saturday. I actually just kind of disconnected from it all. Look, I can’t get upset about it. The No Kings people claim that 7 million people showed up. I don’t know if that’s true. If they’re claiming 7, I’ll bet it’s 3. But whatever it is, I kept thinking, look, if the shoe was on the other foot and if Kamala Harris won, And MAGA put together a Saturday where we said no Democrats or whatever. Okay, we’d be saying great. We’d pat ourselves on the back and say at least we stood out in the street and let our voice be heard. Nothing we could do about it. There was nothing we could do about it when Biden was president. And there was nothing we did about it. Oh, come to think of it, we didn’t try to kill the guy. We didn’t try to… destroy him financially and lock him in prison. We just lived with it. We went about our lives. But if we had a rally, if we wanted to have a rally, okay, fine. That’s an American tradition. People that were so upset about the No Kings protest, I don’t know what you’re upset about. Let them have their day. Let them march around with their stupid sandwich boards and No Kings, whatever. I mean, we don’t have any kings, because if there were kings, you wouldn’t be allowed to protest in the streets. But nonetheless, that’s an irony lost on them. They’re not a threat to our position. They don’t challenge us. I’ve given up trying to find out what the purpose was of the No Kings protest. To this day, nobody can tell me. To this second, nobody can tell me what the purpose was. I feel like giving a cash prize to somebody who can call me at 800-655-MIKE and tell me what the purpose was. I guess it was to vent, to express your frustration, to share your anxiety. Okay, you get to do that. It’s America. Nothing wrong with that. although there were plenty of things wrong with plenty of things that happened at the No Kings protests, like this guy who is described as a professional activist. This happened, I believe, in Chicago.
SPEAKER 03 :
You got to grab a gun. We got to turn around the guns on this fascist system. These ICE agents got to get shot and wiped out. This state, the state machinery, that’s a full display right there, has to get wiped out.
SPEAKER 07 :
These ICE agents have to get shot. They got to get wiped out. Now, if there was a king… That guy would have been placed in handcuffs on the spot, carted away, never to be seen again. Never to be seen again. We don’t have kings. I guess we live in a country where we have normalized threats of fatal violence against law enforcement. And that guy, I don’t know who he is. People ought to know. People ought to be aware of somebody that violent. But by and large, I don’t think most of the people who showed up Saturday are prone to violence. Look, I hope they’re not. If they are, well, we got the ruminations of a civil war on the horizon. There’s a great text message on the MyPillow text line from Arkansas. Mike, it’s like first grade again, voting for class president. These clowns are children. It’s like, feel the way I feel, and my mommy will bring cupcakes every Friday. All right, well, okay, you can feel that way. You can feel they’re childish. You can feel they’re delusional. But they get to do this. They shouldn’t get to do what that guy did. They shouldn’t get to celebrate the assassination of a 31-year-old beloved figure like Charlie Kirk. Many of them did that, apparently. But in terms of the overall protest, are you really upset about it? Roy is in Colorado Springs. Hey, Roy, welcome to the Mike Gallagher Show. How are you?
SPEAKER 10 :
Hey. Hey. I’m okay. Better than not okay. Good. I keep telling people.
SPEAKER 07 :
That’s the way to be. Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah. I didn’t get to see much of the… no King stuff, but I did see portions of it. I saw a gathering of, uh, them. There were probably about 50, 60 people, maybe a hundred. I don’t know. There might’ve been total of a hundred that I saw downtown in different groups. Right. I don’t know. I don’t know if they were the different groups, but there was, uh, I heard on the radio that, uh, this whole thing was – what they intended to do across the country was disrupt traffic, hold up traffic in the metros.
SPEAKER 07 :
Did they do that in Colorado Springs?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah. Well, in my experience, taking one turn at an intersection looking for a parking place, yeah, I started my turn, and then they started – They were all instructed by one guy. Oh, wow. get away from the corner on the sidewalk, and get in front of my car.
SPEAKER 07 :
But let me ask you a question, though. Overall, though, with people in Colorado Springs, Tampa, New York, Chicago, all over the country, are you bothered by the whole concept, or are you kind of like I am? All right, let them march around, make a fool out of themselves, do what they want to do on Saturday, but who cares? I mean, were you bothered by the protest?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 07 :
You were?
SPEAKER 10 :
Just their presence was a disturbance to me because I follow. Mike, I’m an old school journalist, never worked in the field, but I do a lot of research.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 10 :
And I connect a lot of dots. And what I am projecting with this, after just last night reading an interview with Andy Noak,
SPEAKER 07 :
He’s the guy that follows Antifa all the time out of Seattle, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, he’s great. He almost died in exile. They’re looking for him. I know. I was attacked by an Antifa guy one night just driving down the street. Wow. And it was a practice shot at my truck.
SPEAKER 07 :
Oh, my gosh. Well, look, Roy, Antifa’s a different story. These, of course, aren’t all Antifa people. There aren’t millions of Antifa. Although I did see George Conway with a goof of himself. He had a T-shirt on and said, I am Antifa. I don’t think you quite fit the mold, George. I don’t think you… I don’t think you’re an Antifa terrorist. You’re just kind of a lost cause. But I’m just not bothered by these people, and I don’t know why to be upset. Let them protest. Let them have their day. 800-655-MIKE.
