In this episode, we dive into the significant decline in crime rates across Washington D.C., analyzing the numbers and their impact on public perception. We also venture into the world of politics, discussing the internal debates within the Democratic Party and the sharp increase in Republican constituents. From street-level safety to the corridors of power, we explore the intricate relations shaping the nation’s political landscape today.
SPEAKER 06 :

Dutch provides 24-7 access to licensed vets with unlimited virtual visits and follow-ups for up to five pets. You can message a vet at any time and schedule a video visit the same day. Our vets can even prescribe medication for many ailments and shipping is always free. With Dutch you’ll get more time with your pets and year-round peace of mind when it comes to their vet care.
SPEAKER 28 :
But with the guard on the ground, crime is on the decline. For the first time in a long time, D.C. has gone seven days without a homicide. And that’s not all. Carjackings are down 83%. Robberies are down 46%. Car thefts down 21%. And overall violent crime is down 22%.
SPEAKER 23 :
when you have these kind of numbers going down, it basically says this is a success and that means people feel safer. Duh. Hey, guess what?
SPEAKER 24 :
When crime goes down, people feel safer. I don’t know if you guys knew that or not. Welcome to the Bangs edition of The Dana Show. We are top of our first hour, ladies and gentlemen. And you can watch us do the radio program on, why do I keep forgetting this channel?
SPEAKER 15 :
Channel 347.
SPEAKER 1 :
347.
SPEAKER 15 :
Why do I keep, I keep wanting to go 111.
SPEAKER 24 :
127, something like that. I don’t know. It’s a weird, weird Thursday. I’m overwhelmed with a bunch of stuff happening back channel that’s awesome that you guys are going to love. But then also moving kids into college, which is… And then, bear with me, I bit my tongue, so I have no idea what happened. I don’t know, man. I have a Joe Biden thing right now. So we’re going to get into all of that and more. So… Again, welcome to the program. And so it looks like it’s working. I read you some statistics yesterday of the… Actually, I’m pulling this up right now. The fallen crime and… I mean, it looks like it’s going well. I like seeing crime go down, Cain, don’t you? I love the fact that I can love the idea of being able to walk to my car and not getting raped to death. It’s really great.
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s like I see two things happening at once, where there’s an influx of new Republican registrations as far as constituents go.
SPEAKER 24 :
Oh, yeah, that’s under our Dems freak out section today.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yes, while we’re seeing crime just fall off the cliff. This is perfect.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So it is. I mean, I’m pleased to see this. And by the way, I should refine. I wouldn’t be raped. I’d shoot someone to death for trying to do it. But I don’t. I’m trying to understand. And I have a story coming up that we’re going to dive into. Actually, let me just give you the headline for it, because I think that this plays into the left, the left’s messaging on all of this. And it has to do with the two factions in the Republican Party or sorry, Democrat Party that are slap fighting it out. Right. It’s like a good old slap fight from the league. And it’s the they say that it’s the reasonable Democrats battle the Obama bros for the future of the party. Now, we’re going to get into that. But I think that there’s something to what you’re saying. And I also think the messaging on this, because I just can’t believe there is a way to, you know, push back against the things that you disagree with as it relates to Trump and then also go, oh, well, you know. It’s really not good for people to be carjacked. And it’s great that crime is decreasing. The problem with the left is that they have four. maybe over 15 years. It feels like it’s like somewhat of a new thing where in the past they used to at least offer different ideas to contrast the ideas that you agreed with. And then they would debate from that point. But the issue now is they everything they have to have a boogeyman for everything. Trump is the boogeyman. I don’t know. They’re already trying to erect a new one for 2028. And in absence of having that contrasting idea to deliver it’s just trump’s bad mckay and they can’t even celebrate if he does something that they like they can’t even celebrate it if he does something that has actual measurable impact for instance the border they said it’s what is it secure and completely operational now Or if it’s, you know, getting criminals, repeat offenders off the streets in D.C. and then the crime rate going down as a result. They cannot bring themselves to say this is a good thing in the face of hard numbers because it to them, it’s like they are ceding some ground to crime. And that looks like a win for him, right? That looks like a win for him. And they can’t even do that because they have nothing else to fall back on. They have nothing else to put out there. No contrast, nothing. And so… This is it. That’s, I think, why it’s so desperate and why you seemingly have the left going out there. It’s like they’re celebrating crime. Do you realize what that looks like to voters? And they have a lot of independent voters that they have to win. But do you realize what that really looks like to voters? It’s insane. This is crazy. So… This pretty wild, pretty wild. We got a lot of stuff to hit. So we’re getting into this. We’re also getting into we got some of the latest from Texas. So boy, so pass that house map. Five new seats, y’all. You’re welcome. Five new congressional seats. They approved it. I mean, it’s been a two week delay, but they got it done. there’s a little drama on the way. You know, you had people that were spending the night on the floor. They were refusing to leave. Remember, they were refusing to, now they didn’t want to leave because they didn’t want to sign that agreement that they would have to be babysat when they left. They are, they’re pretty, they’re livid. They had some drama. One of them tried to join a video call with Newsom and other Democrats from the Capitol bathroom. Not even kidding. Can you imagine? Can you imagine trying to join this call from the Capitol bathroom? Just insane. And then that’s one tantrum. I think it was Cory Booker was upset over that because the individual, and I think this may have been Nicole Collier still. This is the same lady that fell asleep on the floor. She had to leave the call because they sent… apparently they noted her and said, yeah, you can’t be calling from the floor of the bathroom. That’s actually a violation of the law. You can’t be doing that. You can’t be on a video call from the floor of the bathroom. And so Cory Booker then lost his mind, said it was outrageous, et cetera, et cetera. Yes, because it’s so dignified to be in the loo. Doing a video call. It’s so much of it is just performative garbage. And they tried to drag back representation of Texas voters, but they ultimately failed. Now, while this happens, California Supreme Court, they ruled on a GOP petition to halt the Newsom’s. What is it? His rigging act that he’s trying to put in there. They think because California can’t just do what Texas did. And the reason being is that they have a whole we talked about this before. They have a whole independent commission. You know, they have all of this other stuff. So it’s a little bit different. They can’t just they can’t just go and do exactly what Texas did. So you have this Supreme Court chief justice in California issuing a ruling denying Texas. The petition of several Republican members of the California legislature to stop that move. They’re trying to call it the Democratic redistrict or the sorry, the Election Rigging Act. And there were a number of them. You had one from Huntington Beach. That’s Tony Strickland, Antelope Valley. And then Kate Sanchez, Mission Viejo and several others had a handful of these California lawmakers trying to stop this. I don’t it’s going to take a while for that to go through California because they have their whole independent commission and they got to go to the legislature and it’s a big deal. And I don’t even know if that’s something they’re even going to be able to actually do before it hits California. Before we start getting into actually the 2028 cycle. So we shall see. Now, a few other things. There’s a lot that we’re going to dive. We’ll come back to that. You have the US and the EU flushing out details of a framework for a new trade deal. There was a joint statement. I don’t know if I want to read the whole thing, but they put out on this agreement on reciprocal fair and balanced trade. They’ve announced that they’ve agreed to framework on an agreement. What a sentence. We have agreed on a framework on an agreement. Okay. Now. they have some key things that they have published, and this is eliminating tariffs. So the EU would be eliminating tariffs on U.S. industrial goods and also looking at providing preferential market access to a wide range of seafood and agricultural goods, tree nuts, dairy products, processed, fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, planting seeds, pork, bison meat, etc. They’re going to extend that, provide greater access. The U.S. is going to commit to apply the higher of either the U.S. most favored nation tariff rate or a 15% tariff. comprised of a reciprocal tariff on originating goods from the EU. So that would hit September 1st of this year. And so additionally on that, they are going to ensure, they’re talking about making sure that the tariff rate doesn’t exceed 15% on things like semiconductors, lumber, pharma, you know, things of that nature. So there are… There’s some good things in this. This is a really good. This is a really good step. And I think this is one of the things that was fleshed out when you had all of these European leaders who were visiting D.C. So interesting. So in addition to this, I know there’s more. You have an appellate court that just tossed out Letitia James. James is her judgment against Trump. This is a piece. I know we’ve got a lot of things that the Associated Press, they threw out this massive civil fraud penalty against him. This was really just to kind of tie him up and stuff. And if they couldn’t get him one way, they were going to try to get him this way. And they were going to impose this penalty on him. And then, I like this sentence, narrowly upholding the finding that he engaged in fraud by exaggerating his wealth. That’s not engaging in fraud. This is so stupid. That’s like Letitia James engaging in fraud by exaggerating her credentials to do this job. So they were going to try to hit him with half a billion dollar fine. And the ruling spares them from that. But it bans him and his sons, the two oldest, Eric and Don Jr., from serving in corporate leadership for a few years. He says it’s a total victory. So… It is pretty amazing that they were trying to hit him with a half a billion dollar fine. Remember, he was supposed to pay $355 million in penalties with interest. That goes over $515 million. And then the additional penalties that were levied on his sons brought the total to just shy of $530 million with interest. That’s insane. That’s… That is exorbitantly punitive for the purpose of political pettiness. That’s all that was. All it was. So we got a lot of stuff to unpack today. In addition, some of the other things we have coming up. A cracker and his barrel. We got to talk about the story that is taking the internet by storm. Everybody’s fighting over Cracker Barrel. Is it a big deal? You’re wanting to know. We’ll talk about that coming up. So as we move, our partners that help bring you the program. SPEAKER 15 :
And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It’s time for Dana’s Quick Five.
SPEAKER 24 :
I feel like we should just, like, do karaoke certain days. You know, there’s certain songs that I hear. We’re playing a little Led Zeppelin coming in. What is and what should never be. I’m just telling you, that’s a… I’m just saying. All right, so the stuff that we got here, let’s see. We has for you the this is a really kind of sad survey. It’s from The Guardian. But, you know, but they said that they’ve done a study of the last 20 years. They said Americans that read daily for pleasure has seen a considerable decline and that reading for fun in the U.S. has fallen by 40 percent, according to this new study. That isn’t good. But I mean, reading books or reading online. That’s a big thing because there are a lot of people. I mean, I read books, but I also read a lot of stuff online, like short things. And you can get like download free stuff on Amazon. Just read it on your phone. I do that all the time. So, you know, I’m curious. But they said that it is a sustained steady decline and it is deeply concerning. I think there is something to that. Although I want to people like like regular books better than digital. I do. I like having the book and the book artwork. Like I would have, like I enjoy the album, right? Having the album. Let’s see. Weak divide, or no, a divided Fed. This is weak. They’re worried about tariffs, inflation, and the labor market. Why?
SPEAKER 14 :
What data?
SPEAKER 24 :
Well, it’s because they’re just cussed. because they’re just worried kane they’re just for no reason really they’re just concerned because trumping as soon as trump’s out then they’re not going to be concerned anymore that’s that’s really ultimately just to boil this story down that’s all this is we’re going to talk about the cracker barrel stuff i’m not going to get into this this talks about the menu they’re changing the menu too and the decor so we’re going to dive into all of that a woman this headline i’m telling you something else A woman in her 50s bit a child in a fight over a free concert T-shirt. For real. She totally bit a kid in her 50s. So this is from page six. They said that cops in the Hamptons are investigating these claims that a woman in her 50s bit a six-year-old in a tussle to claim a free T-shirt at a concert. They say the incident happened at the Tuesdays on Main Beach event in East Hampton last week. and I guess they had a T-shirt gun they played on the patio. I don’t know. We don’t go out there. It’s a family-friendly concert series. And they said they had an 80s band, and a 6-year-old grabs one of the T-shirts that they fired out, but a 57-year-old woman fought him for it. And then he ended up winning, but she bit him in the arm to get the upper hand. He apparently had to be treated by medics, and the cops have a suspect. My question is, if this had happened in… Why did this have to happen there? If this happened in Texas, this woman would have been beaten down. Beaten down, dragged by her extensions. We got a lot more on the way. Cracker Barrel up next. Oh, Family Pharmacy. Oh my gosh. So I should have actually just been like, hey, can you guys send me stuff so you guys know I’m getting ready to go on this MRC cruise, right? I don’t do cruises. It’s like a boat going up into the Nordic, the Arctic, whatever. I don’t know. We’re going to see some Vikings, probably some trolls. I don’t know. I’ve never been that far north in my life. All I know is that Santa lives there. And I’m like, oh my gosh, I’m going to have to get anti-nausea, emotion sickness. So I went on All Family Pharmacy and I ordered like a drug kingpin. I ordered legit everything. And then you know what I saw that they had at All Family Pharmacy? So they’ve got your ivermectin and your hydroxychloroquine, every antibiotic you can think of, your daily medicines, blood pressure stuff, thyroid stuff. They got literally everything, NAD+, memendazole, all of it. And right now the ivermectin is 25% off, $2 per capsule. So that’s really great. They have Latisse, ladies. Y’all know what that is? They have it. You literally can get it at All Family Pharmacy. Guess who ordered her some yesterday? Dana did. So I’m like really stoked about it. SPEAKER 13 :
Honestly, the feedback’s been overwhelmingly positive that people like what we’re doing. I’ll give you another sound bite. I actually happened to be in Orlando last week with all of our managers. We bring them together every other year. And the number one question that I got asked, Michael, was, how can I get a remodel? When can I get a remodel? How do I get on the list? Oh, really? So because the feedback and the buzz is so good, not only from our customers, but from our team members. They want to work in a wonderful restaurant. So we’re doing everything for our guests and our team members.
SPEAKER 24 :
Oh boy, and here it is. It’s the great Cracker Barrel War of 2025. Tis upon us. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. You can watch us do the radio show, Channel 347. So I like the Chats at Rumble. I like the Cracker Barrel. I’ve eaten the Cracker Barrel before. My grandfather was a major Cracker Barrel fan. And I was always amazed at this store because it felt like you were going into literally a little country boutique and then also your grandpa’s garage and then also your grandma’s living room. Yeah. And they hoarded. And there was a lot of stuff to look at, a lot of things to look at, right? A friend of mine said that the only concession to modernity should be no ashtrays on the table. Another said the only bow to modernity should be the Wi-Fi password. And then somebody else mentioned doors if you’re in a wheelchair or something like that. That’s it. Everything else needs to look like you’re sitting in your grandpa’s garage and there’s grease on the floor or your grandma’s living room, depending on what part of the restaurant you’re at. So they’ve changed things. So let’s start with the logo, shall we? So the logo’s changed. Just like Land O’Lakes took away the Indian and kept the land, just like they took the black woman off the syrup, they took away this old cracker in his barrel. It doesn’t even say old country store anymore. If you were brand new to Earth and you had no idea what the heck is going on, you’d be like, what is a cracker barrel? Now, the other one, old country store. It looked old timey, did it not? It did. Now, my husband, who knows something about graphics, was like, well, it’s easier to render now. I don’t even know what that means. What does that even mean? Isn’t the old cracker with his barrel?
SPEAKER 15 :
Because there’s two solid colors in that particular logo, and there’s less design. In other words, there’s less lines and less filler, less shading. So on the left, that’s a more busier, harder to render file.
SPEAKER 24 :
The old cracker sitting on his barrel.
SPEAKER 15 :
And the right one is an easier to render file, yeah.
SPEAKER 24 :
I mean, I’m pretty sure they weren’t talking about Whitey and his barrel, but I’m just going to go with it because it’s funny. So the first is the logo. It looks… It’s just a font. I have a problem with people who just use a font as their logo. It’s like you’re treading into Comic Sans territory. Why didn’t they even keep the fun C and B? The B is different. The B is weirder. It’s boringer. I’m saying that word. The K is gone. I mean, why didn’t… I don’t know. And now they don’t even say old country store. Because it’s supposed to be nostalgic. Now, I don’t think that when people… I don’t go so far as to go, well, this is Americana, guys. It’s kind of fake. Come on. It’s like a little really of the company, but whatever. So they have this new logo. They’ve also introduced some menu changes, which I’ll get to. But this is what kills my soul. The inside of it. If I have to see… Another attempt at that god-awful, shiplap, modern farmhouse nonsense. I’m going to scream. I am a maximalist. I mean to the nth degree. Cain will attest to this. Like, Gaudi isn’t a style. He’s a genius. Okay? He did the church in Barcelona. So, now the inside is, and I’m looking at photos of it, soulless, Gray and white and black. It is just an explosion of mediocrity on the inside. Soulless, desaturated nothingness. You’re stepping into a void. Gone are, I mean, they still have some stuff up on the walls, but it’s not the same. It’s different. It’s not like you’re supposed to feel like you’re stepping back into either your grandpa’s garage or your grandmother’s living room. And again, they’re hoarders. You’re stepping into this. This is what it’s, now it’s all, it’s that, and it’s not even like new design. I feel like the design that they just changed it to is even dated because it looks like 2015 modern shiplap farmhouse. That’s what it looks like. I hate that trend so bad. I hate this neutral black, white, and gray nonsense. I’m sorry if that’s your jam. Tis not my jam. I just, I feel like that they were trying to get you used to having no color and having a boring existence. So their glow up has been to desaturate their whole restaurant and make it look sucktastic. That’s what it looks like now. And do you know, here’s what I found interesting. So the decor that they have is actually important enough, the way that they treated it. None of it was a replica. You know that not a single one of those things that they had inside. It wasn’t a replica. So they have like a whole warehouse like where they keep all of their stuff and they can switch it out. It’s it’s a twenty six thousand square foot building that houses more than ninety thousand people. of these artifacts and things that they use to decorate their stores none of it is a replica it is each restaurant is decorated with about 900 pieces of authentic decor so in that regard I would say yeah that’s pretty Americana I get that right I get it So they really I mean, they sell like 70,000 rocking chairs every year. They even have their own design rocking chair. They have their excuse me, their candy thin sticks, all of this stuff. They I mean, it’s an old it’s a southern store. It’s a southern store. And I don’t know why they I we had this headline that they were dealing with a decline in people coming into the restaurant to eat. And they were saying that maybe it’s like millennials and Gen Z younger millennials and really Gen Z that don’t go in. But I don’t know if this is the way to do it because it just looks inauthentic. The way that they had it decorated before it was a hodgepodge of everything, now they have, like, little curated collections, and it just looks too try-hard. I don’t know. And now, yes, people are mad. So people are mad over the logo. They’re mad. The menus are changing. The menus are changing. How are they changing? This is what I’m… I don’t want that to change. Because they’ve had, like, really good food, right? Everybody’s liked their menus. They’ve, you know, they’ve thought it’s always been good. So they’ve got… The menu changes, I think, go into effect, like, now. But they… include in pulling this up, but forgive me, I got a million things in front of me. Their menu changes, they’re still like, oh, they’re all about hospitality, all this stuff. They still have their cinnamon roll skillet thing. They have some of the stuff that they’re keeping, but… Uncle Herschel’s?
SPEAKER 15 :
Are they keeping…
SPEAKER 24 :
They have Uncle Herschel’s Favorite. That’s what’s still on the menu. They have the sausage and hash brown casserole thing. They have the French toast bake. That’s still there. The herb roasted chicken. They got the sticky buns, all of that stuff. I mean, I look at the decor and how they’re changing things. Can we cue up that theme song? They have their own theme song for Crying Out Loud. Now, yes, it sounds like AI wrote it, but it’s their own theme song. Done them dulcet tones in that acoustic. Remind you, sitting on the front porch of Granny Grandma. Welcome to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Welcome to Cracker Barrel.
SPEAKER 05 :
Sipping on sweet tea with my family.
SPEAKER 23 :
Get them sticky points.
SPEAKER 24 :
Doing everything we can to beat this. See, they’re on theme song. And then they came in and changed it all. They changed it all. Took all the soul out. Now, a lot of people are saying that the reason it changed is because they have like a woke CEO. And they’ve done some of the alphabet stuff before, which I don’t know. You know what? I don’t want a restaurant. If I’m going into a restaurant and I’m like, I’m going to order food that I put in my mouth. I don’t want to read about someone else’s sexual fetish. I don’t care about your flag flying for some sexual fetish. I don’t care about your rainbows. and your pastels, and all that other stuff. Just make and sell the damn food. Because the last thing that people want to be thinking about when they’re eating, you know, the French toast casserole, or they’re getting some rolls or something, is people doing it all different ways behind closed doors. That is not what people want to think of when they’re sitting down for a nice meal with their family. They don’t want to see the virtue signaling all over the menu. If you are so broke in spirit and confidence and in basic life that you have to advertise your sexual predilections on a restaurant menu, you need Jesus. Stop. So people are very upset. Now, Kane, are you one of the upset people over this?
SPEAKER 15 :
Now, I do enjoy breakfast next to a license plate and the flour sifter from 1912.
SPEAKER 24 :
And there better be dust on it, too.
SPEAKER 15 :
Who doesn’t? Yeah. But as long as the food is good, do they still have the hash brown casserole? Because I think it said French toast casserole.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, I think they still have it. There’s like a big old laundry list.
SPEAKER 15 :
Hash brown casserole is good. Uncle Herschel’s the big country breakfast. I’m a big fan.
SPEAKER 24 :
But tell me, are you mad about the logo rebrand and Joanna Gaines’ decor?
SPEAKER 15 :
Look, I’ll change. It’s uncomfortable, unfortunately. Especially when it’s stupid.
SPEAKER 24 :
Right.
SPEAKER 15 :
The stock market, though, it is important to note, and they are reactionary. They were down 13-something percent the last time I looked. So, you know, obviously those who had invested in
SPEAKER 24 :
cracker barrel uh don’t agree with the decision but again this will balance out things will eventually even out um yeah i don’t know you think it’ll balance out people seem mad but is it do they have any woke stuff on the menu i don’t i didn’t see it did is that what they have i mean they’ve had like logos and stuff that they’ve come out with before they got a new they have a like a new ceo they got a new ceo a couple of years ago right it was apparently pretty woke juan’s showing you if you’re watching the uh simulcast he’s showing you exactly how their stocks are performing not very well but I just I mean the modern cracker barrel why does it why I just don’t understand why they had to rebrand it to that extent and I think it goes to show you that because it is New York Times says it’s a political Rorschach test I don’t think it’s a political Rorschach test so much as it’s are you committing branding suicide
SPEAKER 15 :
And I saw some people trying to argue like, hey, look, Coke’s changed their logo over the years and Pepsi’s changed their logo. And there’s a lot of people who change their logo. It doesn’t mean anything, really. And I think there’s some validity to that.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 15 :
I think there’s a lot of people who maybe are really big fans and have been loyal to Cracker Barrel for all these years that may feel like this change is a little uncomfortable.
SPEAKER 24 :
I just hate this modern farmhouse aesthetic. I especially hate the modern farmhouse aesthetic in places where there are no farms. And no one’s ever been to the farm and they’re like, I just think I want these barn doors that slide. I just don’t get that. I just don’t. Of course, I shouldn’t talk because my house is like Dracula’s castle. The inside of my house, Cain can attest. I mean, there’s animal skin. There’s heads on walls. There’s iron.
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s decorative.
SPEAKER 24 :
I mean, when I say retired goth, I’m literally not joking. uh so yeah you know i’m a maximalist i don’t like millennial gray i’m allergic to that that it’s weird because i dress that way but i don’t live that way but i don’t want to see it on decor i probably because i don’t think i want to dress like my house you know what i mean
SPEAKER 15 :
Also, every time I’ve been to Cracker Barrel, I’ve always liked it. I can’t remember a time that I’ve been there and was like, oh, man, the food wasn’t great or, ooh, I wish the decor was different. If you still have a fireplace and if your food’s still good and your silverware is clean, I’m good. And let’s just hope it stays that way.
SPEAKER 24 :
I just can’t eat in places like this. It feels cold and unwelcoming, you know?
SPEAKER 15 :
Not if that fireplace is going.
SPEAKER 24 :
It’s not.
SPEAKER 15 :
A big hearth fireplace.
SPEAKER 24 :
I’m curious, though, what people think about the Cracker Barrel redo. Like, how are they? I don’t know. Lorraine told me I shouldn’t pause when talking about Cracker Barrel and my grandpa. He was a huge Cracker Barrel fan.
SPEAKER 15 :
He was a tall cracker barrel.
SPEAKER 24 :
He actually wasn’t a cracker, believe it or not. All right. We’ve got more on the way. We’ll come back to this. I’m curious as to what y’all think. We do got to get in some days of these United States. So our partners that will bring you the program, burn a gun, which is basically it’s a non firearm firearm. Burn a gun shoots chemical irritant projectiles that can deter threats from up to 50 feet away. Now, I think it’s important to be diversified with what you have in terms of your self-defense options, especially when there are areas where you are restricted from carrying. I always carry a firearm, and I have no problem using lethal force. But that said, I know that, for instance, you’ve got college kids going back to school. They’re living maybe off campus but not old enough to carry a pistol gun. This is where something like a Burna gun comes in so they can still actually protect themselves when they’re out and about walking to their car, you know, after class, you know, parking on street, going, you know, whatever. They have two different versions that fit this purpose. The SD and then the CL. CL is a new one. It stands for compact launcher. It’s 38% smaller than the SD. And it still has a 15-round shot capacity per cartridge. When you compare that with average stun guns, you only have maybe one or two rounds with that. This is 15 rounds. And it’s legal in all 50 states. It doesn’t care about gun-free zone signs. There are no background checks, no permits, no fees, no questions. And it can be shipped right to your door. It’s accessible for everybody to be able to use when they are barred from local or municipal restrictions. or because, you know, unconstitutional age restrictions. They can go and serve our country and carry quote-unquote weapons of war overseas, but heaven forbid they have a handgun to protect themselves here at home. So it’s the SD and the CL. Those are the models over at Byrna, B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash Dana. It’s the new Byrna CL. Byrna dot com slash Dana. Ready when you are.

SPEAKER 15 :
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of the United States.
SPEAKER 28 :
And all of our Democratic elected officials. Sorry, I have to leave. They said it’s a felony for me to do this. Apparently, I can’t be on the floor or in the bathroom.
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, you told me I was only allowed to be here in the bathroom. No, hang on. Bye, everybody. I’ve got to go.
SPEAKER 08 :
Hey, that is outrageous. That’s the law. That’s the law. That’s the law.
SPEAKER 24 :
Also, she’s just she’s just pulling a stunt. These are all laws that they voted for, by the way. Also, the idea of how to you know, if you’re going to in this situation, holding quorum, et cetera, you’ve got to be on the floor. They all voted. They all supported this. They supported it again with the vote back in 2024. So I don’t know why they’re all bitching and moaning now. She’s one of them that voted for it. I mean, that’s what happens when you leave things for your staff to skim over instead of doing the job yourself because you’re too interested in chasing camera time. Because everybody wants to be jazzy, jazzy Crockett. Banshee of the frontier. She ain’t even from the frontier. She’s from MICDS, which we told you about first. MICDS up in St. Louis. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. Yeah, that’s a stunt. And I just think it’s gross. She was in the women’s bathroom doing a video. Whenever you see people in the bathroom on the phone, are you motivated to be loud at anything? Because I am. I’ll be like, oh, I love washing my hands in the bathroom. It’s like, why are you on your phone in the bathroom? You’re violating people’s privacy when you’re doing that. Stop it. Don’t do that. But she went in there. She knew what the rules were. That’s Collier. She knew what the rules were. She was the one who made a big deal about spending the night on the floor of the Texas house.
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s what Democrats do. They know what the laws are. They know what the rules are. And it’s the same with Bowman with the fire. Remember the fire alarm when he pulled the fire? He knew what he was doing. He didn’t mistake that for a door handle. We all know this is intentional.
SPEAKER 24 :
Of course it is. It’s absolutely intentional. I do think it’s funny how badly Gavin Newsom is trying to hijack this as a vehicle for his presidential campaign. He needs an issue to roll into 2028 with. He needs a succession of issues because he has to constantly stay in the news. That’s how this works. He’s got to stay in front of you. He’s got to stay in the news. That’s how that’s the only way that he’s going to be able to really take because there’s a lot of there’s not a lot of unity in the party. And he’s not only got to stay up there for that purpose, but he also has to stay up there to try to reach out and stay in the news for independence and for everybody else to talk about him. So you’re going to see nonstop. That’s all he’s going to be doing for the next. Gosh, however long? I don’t even know. It’s going to be really annoying. So get used to seeing him and everything. We have a lot more on the way. Don’t go anywhere. More of The Dana Show, second hour. At Super Beats, the Super Boreen product, which is a great product. SPEAKER 17 :
We are a country of immigrants. That is just a fact. It is who we are. And yet here we are watching families be targeted, watched, hunted, farm workers being chased across fields. These are some of the hardest working people on earth, and they literally feed the nation. Shame on the federal administration for doing this. Shame on them for choosing cruelty, for terrifying families, ruining children’s lives just to make a political point. Whose interpretation of Christian values is this? What happened to being the party of family values?
SPEAKER 24 :
Oh, really?
SPEAKER 17 :
This shouldn’t be about politics. Oh, I can’t. Guys, I can’t.
SPEAKER 24 :
This should be about… There are a few… Welcome back to the program. Let’s use our words. Thanks. Welcome back to the program. It’s the bangs edition of the show. I don’t want to hear it because I like them. And that was Jennifer Newsom, Gavin Newsom’s wife, the woman he stepped out on before. Oh. Is she standing in the pot field, remember? Because the people that they, the big question that they had, remember, they had these people that were, they employed kids and it was a pot farm. And I don’t know if she’s talking about the kids that are running around the field or what. Remember that whole story? And they said that, no, it was a strawberry patch. It’s a strawberry patch. That’s what it was. She’s like on the verge of tears for this.
SPEAKER 15 :
Strawberry kush.
SPEAKER 24 :
True. She’s on the verge of tears because he’s enforcing the law. He is enforcing the law and that’s what it is. So welcome back. Now he’s getting her into it. Golly. If I have to deal with both of these cows through this whole all the way up until 2028, we’re going to have some issues. I can’t deal, I cannot deal with, because she is extra. Jennifer Van Laar, who lives out in California, has done a lot of reporting on her, and she is super extra. There are some dirty Dylans that Jennifer Newsom was involved in. I also wanted to play, did we play three, we played three first hour, correct or no? Did we play three? I don’t think we did. Okay. I want to come in with this too, or play this too, because this is her husband, who is now, I don’t know, is he trying to troll her? Watch this.
SPEAKER 12 :
No, I mean, even poor Kid Rock. These guys, they’ve become a little precious, haven’t they? These folks at Fox. They’re like, oh, this is so unbecoming of a governor. Oh, oh. And meanwhile, they sit there reading his tweets every single day. Are they that totally out of touch? I mean, it’s jaw-dropping how precious a concern New York Post has gotten all of a sudden. How the Wall Street Journal headboard is like, oh, no, we can’t have this. I mean, what? I hope we’re exposing it all. I hope we’re exposing.
SPEAKER 24 :
What is he talking about? What does he mean? Like, they’re too precious about what? Does anybody know? What the hell is he talking about? He’s trying to act like he’s so big and bad. No one was. No one was was. Is this about him cussing? Because people weren’t. upset over him cussing. We were all making fun of him for doing it because it sounded so weird. He was trying to sound hard and it sounded really weird. I don’t like that when people do that. They’re trying to act like something that they’re not. Except when it’s patrolling the streets of D.C. Can we talk about this for a minute? Because this just came out. POTUS, Perthahill, he’s going to be bad boys in it up with some D.C. police. Yeah, he is. He’s going to go out on patrol with the Metropolitan Police Department and the National Guard troops around Washington, D.C. Thursday night. Tonight, amid a federal crackdown on crime. He said, quote, I’m going to be going out tonight, I think, with the police and the military, of course. We’re going to go do a job. What? Yeah, go do that job, POTUS. Here we go. This is the best theme song in the history of all television ever. That’s all. That’s all. Just a little cops theme. So they said that the details of what he’s actually going to be doing are forthcoming. I don’t know. Give the man a baton. Let him go. Let him go. Juan already has the AI Trump, I swear, right now. Hey, you know what? He looks good in uniform. Look at it. He’s going to be going out there tapping people’s knees. I love how he goes. Yeah, so we’re going to go do a job. Yeah, that’s… I love it. So he’s going to be going out. So far, the left hasn’t had a moment to go apoplectic. It’s coming. Just so you know, it’s going to happen. It’s going to…
SPEAKER 15 :
You know, so he’s clearly not going to be slapping cuffs on anyone, but it’s going to be funny how he’ll probably comment on their clothing or what they’re wearing or like something, you know, where it’s like, why couldn’t you button up that shirt? Pull those pants up.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 15 :
What are you doing?
SPEAKER 24 :
Why are you out here? Just in the way you’re doing out here. Yeah. I, it’s going to be interesting. So they said that the details are forthcoming. So this just came out. If you’re just joining us, POTUS, he said his direct quote. So we’re going to go do a job. Yeah. So that’s what they’re doing tonight. He’s going to be walking with the police.
SPEAKER 15 :
I mean, he is commander in chief of our military.
SPEAKER 24 :
I mean, it’s a sound of the police saying so. What’s that going to look like? Do you think he’s going to be riding in the cop car? Is he going to be riding in like a tank or something? What’s that going to look like? He’s going to be hopping out? Is he going to be in riot gear? I’ve never not seen him in a suit. Except when he plays golf and he’s in like the polo, but it’s always a white polo. You never see him in like a pastel blue polo. And he always wears a dark colored suit. You’ve never seen him in like a tan suit because that’s horrendous. By the way, that’s only if it’s linen and you’re on the Amalfi Coast. Otherwise, don’t be wearing no poo brown colored suit. That’s disgusting. And so he’s got his uniform and I like that. I just don’t know what this is going to look like. Is he going to wear a suit under the right? I don’t know. What does that look like? I’m fascinated. So they said the details are forthcoming. I have a feeling that he’s going to probably blast some Lee Greenwood. And roll down Pennsylvania. And then every now and then he’ll hop out. Like thwack, thwack with the baton. And then get back into whatever armored vehicle he’s in. I don’t even know what that’s going to look like. But this is going to be interesting. This is a nice move. It’s a good move. Because now they’re going to keep talking about it. What is Newsom going to do to top this? Hmm? What’s he going to do to top this? I mean, remember, everything was burning down in California. And Jennifer Newsom was literally shopping on Rodeo Drive. Yes. She was with her Goyard bag, her $3,000-something Goyard bag, and going into luxury stores on Rodeo Drive. That’s what she was doing, just FYI. So what… How is he going to top that? And also, I can’t wait to see because it’s going to be incredibly debasing for for Newsom when he does. So this will be very interesting. So they said they’re going to do it tonight. That’s how it’s happening. He’s going to be going out there. And this is like one of the first times that I think I’ve seen. At least on the right, all of the factions of the right agree. OK, something’s got to be done. We get it. Even the capital L’s, man, have you seen those? The capital L libertarians are like, well, that’s how bad it is out there. What were you going to say?
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s when logic, it’s common sense, I think, is coming back. That’s what I hope is happening.
SPEAKER 24 :
I agree. I think so as well. So we’ll see how this, we’re going to, I’m really excited about this. I want more details like now, and I don’t have them. But they said that it’ll be this evening. And we’ll have the general idea, I guess, a little bit later with some of these other details. So that’s going to be something to watch. I wonder if there’s going to be sirens involved. Because you’re going to have to have Secret Service with him also, obviously. He’s going to have Secret Service with him, too. Maybe he got some extra speakers because of the Rose Garden. He was blasting, testing the new speakers out at the Rose Garden. Just saying should be. I love it. I love it. All right. Some of the other stuff that we got to hit to make sure that you are set up tomorrow. I’m moving more offspring into places, so I’m not going to be here on air tomorrow, but I will be back with you on Monday. So I’m going to make sure that we get y’all set up. We were telling you this is the story that I wanted to hit. Democrats are alarmed by new data showing voters are fleeing to the GOP. Well, tonight with POTUS out there on the streets, you know, with the police, that’s not going to help them much. It was a New York Times report, believe it or not, that came out yesterday. And it was actually pretty devastating. It showed that 30 states that maintain voter registration records by political party, that Democrats fall behind Republicans in every single one of them. from the both the 2020 from elections from 2020 to 2024. And the analysis showed that it is an absolute hemorrhage. It is an absolute they’re hemorrhaging voters. They knew this, but this is some concrete evidence that’s been compiled by an independent entity. So it’s not like an insider survey, anything of that nature. So of the 30 states that track the voter registration by political party, Democrats lost ground Republicans in literally every single one. So that’s 2020, that’s 2022 and 2024. So you have two presidential elections and a midterm election. And they said by a lot, the four year swing towards the GOP adds up to 4.5 million voters. wow and the stampede is occurring in battleground states too and the bluest states they used l2 the new york times did which is a non-partisan data firm and i think there’s a number of things that go into it the lackluster party brand because what let me ask you this when you’re talking about branding and this is one of the reasons why i think people are genuinely criticizing the um Cracker Barrel stuff, because when you’re talking about branding, you’re usually. There’s like one thing that you can think of that you at least one thing that you can associate with the brand. Right. So when you think of the GOP, what do you think of like immigration enforcement? That’s actually the first thing that pops into my mind. Right. When you think of Democrats. And branding, what is the first thing? And I think you can ask this equally of Democrats and independents and even progressives. What is like one of the first things that pops up in your mind? When I say Democrats and you’re thinking of branding, what is one of the first things that pops up in your mind?
SPEAKER 14 :
Anti-American?
SPEAKER 24 :
Pronouns, things like that, yeah. Yeah, to your extent. Do you see what I mean? How is that – if you’re a voter and there is an aspect of this where you’re reading these parties and politicians and what they’re offering as a consumer, what value is that to you? So that’s what I mean. It is like the psychological investment based on what the brand stands for. This is like the psychology behind marketing. And that is a major problem with Democrats because they don’t have like a singular a singular thing. Republicans have several things. They don’t have a singular thing that is sort of like the market identifier in the marketplace of ideas for politics. They don’t have it except for pronouns and all that other. But even then, that’s like intangible nonsense stuff. So that I think is a major problem. But all told, they’ve lost over two million registered voters between 2020 and 2024 in 30 states and in D.C. And Republicans gained two and a half million. That’s crazy, crazy. Now, you have more Democrats registered across the nation than Republicans because California, you can register by party in California. So in Texas, you can’t. And so that’s why it’s kind of a false indicator. It makes you think that there are more registered Democrats, but there really aren’t. Because there are a number of red states where you’re not including that registered Republican number because they don’t do registered parties like that. So this is crazy. Democrats went from an 11 percent point edge over Republicans in 2020 on Election Day. Now it’s like five percent. It was five percent in 2024. It was it’s probably even greater now. And that’s one of the reasons why, you know, Trump, he he broke the blue wall. He won the popular vote and was able to get a lot of these battleground states because of that swing. Democrats have no idea how to remedy this. They can talk a great game all they want to going into 2028. But if you had the election right now, they would not win it. They would not win it. We have more on the way as we roll towards headlines. Our partners that help bring you the program. Oh, Family Pharmacy. Oh, my gosh. Y’all men don’t know. Ladies, you know the stuff that you’ve got to get a doctor’s prescription for to make your eyelashes full and look like you’re a cable news anchor? Okay, they got that there. They have it. You literally can get it at All Family Pharmacy. Guess who ordered her some yesterday? Dana did. So I’m like really stoked about it. SPEAKER 15 :
And now, all of the news you would probably miss. It’s time for Dana’s Quick Five.
SPEAKER 24 :
So the world’s first spinal cord transplant could take place, is set to take place in Israel, allowing patients to walk again. Tel Aviv University announced Wednesday that the surgery will take place, making a historic milestone in regenerative medicine. They are using a patient’s own cells. It’s a huge medical breakthrough. The surgery is expected in the coming months. And, wow, that’s pretty significant. So… That’s making headlines for sure. Police arrest a 29-year-old man for kidnapping himself. Can you kidnap yourself? Is that something that one can do out of curiosity? This story, which doesn’t want to open because the link is garbage. Basically, he was arrested. This individual was arrested, 29 years old. He was arrested.
SPEAKER 15 :
Thank God they got the kidnapper. Thank God.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, I mean, who could have seen that coming, right? That he was going to… He was demanding money. He created a GoFundMe account for himself and all this stuff. Clearly, they were suspicious for good reason. There’s a large Missouri bridge free to a good home. One large Missouri bridge. The Missouri Department of Transportation, they’re looking to replace a 1950s era bridge over at the Bull Shoals Lake. And the existing bridge is literally free. But if any entity wants it, you’ve got to pay to move it. That’s the thing. It’s the 1,800-foot Theodosia Bridge. And they said it’s likely too big for a second use. Its Camelback construction is unique. It was all the rage in post-World War II. Everybody was trying to be efficient with limited steel. But it has historical significance. So it’s literally a free bridge. I have a free bridge to offer you. Yeah, sorry. A Texas woman who is a quadruplet gave birth to quintuplets, which is a first. That’s insane. Coming up next, Congressman Chip Roy’s got a big announcement. He’s eyeing AG. Stick with us. Angel Studios. You need to get a guild membership over at Angel Studios. They’re coming out with the kind of stuff that we always complain that Hollywood doesn’t make. And if you want the kind of entertainment to hit the theater screens and the kind of entertainment to hit your smaller screens, you’ve got to support it. And that’s where Angel Studios comes in. Most movies are so derivative and they’re so predictable and it’s so formulaic and it’s just a rehash of this and that. But Angel Studios is telling original creative stories, great storytelling, great filmmaking, great cinematography. Great casting as well. They’re getting some real powerhouses to star in these films that they are releasing. Sketch, which hit theaters earlier this month, they have The Last Rodeo, which is great if you like westerns, bull riding. That’s a really great story. It’s a redemption story. Mike Rowe has this something to stand for where they look at everyday Americans, which is a really great kind of like a face in the crowd kind of examination of different different Americans and what we do. The Sound of Hope were a Texas story where families adopted 77 foster kids. There’s all kinds of stuff you with Angel Studios, you get to decide what is made. not these elites who literally never touch grass in the middle of America. And with a premium membership, you get ad-free streaming, full access to their library, and two free tickets to every theatrical release. And you can reshape the culture that we leave for our kids. Democrats say gerrymandering’s horrible, so of course they plan to do a lot of it to save democracy. Another government-run grocery store is a very expensive failure, big surprise. And there’s a huge divide between Republicans and Democrats over whether America is worth celebrating. And of course it’s the left that says no. …occurs on passage to engrossment of House Bill 4. This is a record vote. Clerk, ring the bell. Sure is 100 voting aye. Have all members voted? Have all members voted?
SPEAKER 24 :
Well, we passed the GOP redistricting map yesterday, only after a couple of weeks of delay. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We are at the bottom of the second hour. You can listen all across the country. Channel 347, DirecTV, Chats at Rumble. Joining us right now. He’s got some news today, but I just had to get his reaction to this because I think it all plays in together. It all plays in. Congressman Chip Roy of the great Republic of Texas. He represents Hill Country and he joins us now via video. Congressman, it’s good to see you first, though. Let me ask you this. You’re happy, obviously, that the redistricting map has passed because that means we’re going to have five extra Republican seats. I have to think that that played into the announcement that you made today.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, certainly it’s important that we’re going to have a new map. The president of the White House is actively involved in it. Look, I’m really proud of the legislature for stepping up and delivering, and they’re doing it quickly. Now the Democrats have finally been brought home and showing up to do their job. And by the way, while they were playing politics over maps, because the only way Democrats can have power is by trying to jam it through with maps and gerrymandering and otherwise carrying out fraud and through mail-in ballots and everything else, They were holding up bills to help the people I represent in Kerrville and in the Hill Country that were impacted by those devastating floods. So they were playing politics with people’s lives because they want to play politics for power. That’s what Democrats do. So good for the Republicans for making these changes to the maps. And yeah, it certainly helps me feel good that we’re going to have strong conservative representation out of Texas and strong Republican representation up in Washington. to give me the ability to make a decision that was hard because I’ve got so many good friends up there that I’ve been fighting alongside in the Freedom Caucus and otherwise in the Texas delegation. But it’s time to come home. It’s time to come fight for Texas from Texas, where my family is, be around my family, but importantly, be around my greater family. my fellow Texans, which really hit home to me during the floods when I was around DPS and when I was around all the law enforcement and the first responders, Texas Department of Emergency Management, the governor’s office. I feel called to come back here and take my skills as a former federal prosecutor, as the former first assistant attorney general, my skills from Congress that I’ve been honing over the last three, now I’ll be going on four terms, and come back here to fight for Texas.
SPEAKER 24 :
Well, and if you’re just joining us, Congressman Chip Roy, who’s announced he’s going for Texas AG. And AGs, as everybody’s seen during the past, good grief, six, seven years now, I mean, AGs really have been the tip of the spear for so many things. And looking through, you know, in the context of doing it in Texas, what is one of the things that you think that you can have a more – I think, impactful hit on than you would in Congress. But as AG, like, what is the thing that stands out to you where you’re like, oh, my gosh, I know I can get this done. I can get this into shape immediately.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, first of all, I am proud of the legacy from Washington and what we were able to do. And look, I think you’ve got to be unafraid to fight, but also unafraid to win. You know, that’s what we did with the big, beautiful bill. If I were czar, I might have done things a little differently, but you’ve got to come up with the votes. And that was important up there. And I would just tell you as AG, you’ve got the ability to execute. And that’s one of the things that I noticed when I was down on the ground in Kerrville, being with these great people, executing on behalf of the people that you want to serve. you can go execute. And as AG, you’ve got a lot of things you can do. You’re involved with law enforcement. You’re involved in a daily basis in figuring out how to keep the state safe and working with Texas DPS and then your own law enforcement at the AG’s office. But you also have a duty to go defend the laws of Texas, go to defend Texas against the long arm of the federal government and to ensure that we’re protecting Texans. Look, we’ve got a daily fight on our hands. George Soros funded DAs and judges that are putting criminals on our streets. These NGOs and activists and the federal government that was running people illegally into our communities here in Texas, filling our schools and filling our jails and our hospitals with illegal aliens, driving up costs for taxpayers. We have big businesses that are coming in and stomping on small businesses and faceless corporations that are undermining the well-being of Texans with big insurance companies making it impossible to afford health care. These are all things that you can go fight as the chief law enforcement officer, but for the state of Texas doing your job in the AG’s office. And I feel prepared to do it. Like I said, I was a federal prosecutor. I’ve been in the AG’s office. I’ve served on the House and Senate Judiciary Committees as a staffer and then now as a member in the House. And I feel ready to do it as chairman of the subcommittee on the Constitution. I’ve been right in the thick of the constitutional battles, like, for example, stopping the advancement of Sharia law through the Islamists spreading through Texas that are undermining, I think, our culture and way of life. We have a real fight on our hands, and we need leaders who are willing to take on those fights and to know how to win.
SPEAKER 24 :
And a quick note on that for people who think that Congressman Roy is exaggerating. I mean, they literally tried establishing Sharia law in Irving, Texas, which is literally 20 minutes away from me down highway down Interstate 114. That was a real thing. And there was an honor killing in that town the year that we moved here in 2013. There was an honor killing. That I’m just saying, just putting that out there, that is not an exaggeration when he’s discussing. Congressman, I would say normally I would be really nervous about this because you are such a bulldog in Congress. I mean, you are literally like the person we want to send to Congress. However, we’re getting five Republican seats. In Texas. I think we’re going to be okay. I would rather, I agree, I would rather have you as AG considering the stuff that Texas is dealing with now and we know is bubbling up that we’re going to be facing because 2028 isn’t a guarantee. That is all up in the air. And heaven forbid we find ourselves with Democratic stranglehold in D.C., it’s going to fall on the AGs again. That’s going to be you.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, that’s a really good point, an important point. And there are no guarantees. We don’t know who the president will be. And if, God forbid, we have somebody as bad as Joe Biden or Barack Obama, we’ve got to have an aggressive attorney general who knows how to use the law to defend the people of Texas, who’s willing to stand up and declare an invasion, do all the things necessary. But even if we have a Republican, even if we have a strong Republican following President Trump, it is a constant battle to fight the bureaucrats. A constant battle to fight the globalists, to fight the faceless bureaucrats, the Chinese Communist Party trying to buy up Texas land, to fight the march of the Islamists that wants to. Again, that’s not a statement about faith or the First Amendment. It’s a statement about the intersection of that religion with public policy and politics trying to step over our actual Republican form of government. So there are a lot of things there that you’re going to need a strong attorney general to go fight and defend. And I’ve got a history of doing that. I mean, look, you know my track record. You know my background. You go through all the groups. I’ve got a score of 100% from Heritage Action, 100% for Club for Growth, 100% from Freedom Index, 96 from Turning Point. I don’t know what they got wrong. It must have been something, right, if I got a 96. But 100 from Republican Liberty Caucus, et cetera. I’ve got a proven track record in the skills to defend the state.
SPEAKER 24 :
I think you made a good point about Islamism as well, because the people who I think try to make a big deal out of that statement acting like it’s divisive, I guess they forget that Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates also hate Islamism. And they in Egypt, I mean, they’ve been declaring war on that for quite some time. So people kind of need to take inventory of that. I wanted to ask you, because this is going to fall right into your wheelhouse. Because I think you’ll you’ll get it. I can’t imagine anybody better as the next Texas attorney general. The move by the administration to use the military to declare the Mexican cartels terror organizations and to use our military to push back. What does that look like? Because that’s I mean, that’s our southern border. And that would also be in conjunction with what you do.
SPEAKER 11 :
Particularly when you’ve got these programs under 287 G where Texas local law enforcement can work directly with the federal law enforcement to execute our need to secure the border and remove people who shouldn’t be here. Obviously going after cartels. One of the first bills I introduced in 2019 when I got to Congress was a bill to designate cartels as terrorist organizations. I had some Republican colleagues who scoffed and said, oh, you shouldn’t do that. And now what did the president do as soon as he got there in this term? He used an executive order to do that because it was the right policy. And I’m glad to have been a part of that. We will carry that forward now in execution as the attorney general of Texas. We will work with local law enforcement. We will work with ICE. I introduced legislation just yesterday or the day before that would take away federal funds from sanctuary jurisdictions. And I mean all federal funds. We need to bring the hammer. If you’re a local law enforcement and you’re standing in the way of ICE doing their job, then those federal dollars shouldn’t be flowing to those jurisdictions. So lots I can do in the 16 months remaining in Congress, and then I’ll be glad to be in Texas and stand alongside my fellow Texans to fight for our homes and our communities.
SPEAKER 24 :
And we look forward to that because, like I said, I mean, having those strong attorneys general that, like I said, 2020 isn’t guaranteed. And I just know they did the ones who were good. They did so much good work and they really kind of carried the nation through that time. There’s a handful of them. And I hate to say there was only a handful because just because the Republican doesn’t mean that they’re like you.
SPEAKER 11 :
And that’s especially true on everything from the, you know, Obamacare to things like masks and fighting vaccine mandates, but also our tried and true issues, gun rights, standing up in defense of our ability to to arm ourselves. I mean, that’s important. I’ve got an A plus score with the gun owners of America and their dear friends. But like we’ve got to stand up as Texas in defense of those gun rights. It is the single thing that has separated us from the rest of the world against the march of tyranny. We must stand strong on that. And I will do that as the attorney general.
SPEAKER 24 :
There you go. Well, I I’m pleased with it. I love the fact that you would be a G. I was a little nervous about who is going to be stepping into that role after the musical chairs of elections started. But I’m pleased that we get we get a really strong attorney general because I feel like, you know, the primary is kind of the general in this case. I really do. I mean, and with the way it’s going. Sorry. Go ahead.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, we got to go earn it. We’ll go make sure we go across the state of Texas and earn the vote. I want to be able to go represent them, but we’re confident we’ve got strong name of ID, strong polling, strong support from the great grassroots in the state that I’ve known for years. And we’re going to go build on that strong support, the law enforcement community and gun owners and everybody else. So we’ll march forward. We’ll go earn their votes.
SPEAKER 24 :
There you go. Congressman Chip Roy, the next attorney general for the great Republic of Texas. Appreciate your fight in D.C., sir, and look forward to seeing your fight back here in the state. Thank you so much. God bless. Good to see you.
SPEAKER 11 :
God bless you.

SPEAKER 14 :
It’s his life mission to make bad decisions. It’s time for Florida Man.
SPEAKER 24 :
Lee County, Florida. A Florida man was bitten by a lemon shark because he was taking a photo with it during his birthday fishing trip. He’s literally recovering in the hospital. He was holding the shark. He was going to release it back into the Gulf. And, yeah, I mean, that’s what happens. You get bit. They had to put a tourniquet on his leg to stop the bleeding. Don’t be doing that with sharks. You’re going to get bit. These are stupid. And lemon sharks are a prohibited species. So they have to remain in the water with their gills submerged during fishing. So what he did was actually a big bad no-no. So he said he did not have a permit. But he said, I wasn’t fishing. I just took it off the hook. But that’s literally what we would call fishing. I mean, this is entirely preventable. The shark wanted to get back in the water. It was scared. It was, you know, good grief. So I don’t feel bad for this guy. This is what happens when you mess with nature. You F-A, you F-O. Stop doing that stuff. You know, good grief. Okay. Also, this is a crazy story. A Florida woman was charged because she packed a gun in her kid’s school backpack so the kid could give it back to the dad. It was Coppergate Elementary School. The Florida mom sent her elementary school kid to school like first week with a gun in their backpack so they could return it to the dad, said authorities. The kid was apparently… unaware and then told the teachers who then called the sheriff’s office. The mother, Sierra Bronner, was arrested, charged with child neglect and giving a firearm to a minor. See, these are actual charges that the left didn’t tell you exist. And so she’s been charged with two felonies because you can’t be doing that stuff. I would actually think that there’s a third one because guns are it’s a federal law for over 30 years now that firearms have been banned on school grounds. So I was actually kind of surprised that there was not that charge that was included. So it was Clay County. Yeah. Send him to school. And the kid found it and was like, wait, what? And told the teachers immediately. So the kid was smarter than the mom. Told the teachers immediately. They alerted school officials in the sheriff’s office. And yeah, they discovered it in their bag. Everybody was safe. That kid was smart, though, to know that. But yeah, the mom was like, well, the dad was he’s going to give it back to the dad. That’s what the whole point. I can’t even now. Guess where this happened outside of. A Florida woman was arrested for exposing herself and blocking traffic outside of this establishment. Kane, if you had to guess, I’ll give you a hint. It’s an eatery.
SPEAKER 15 :
Is it Hooters?
SPEAKER 24 :
No. Where are the best fights when UFC is not on?
SPEAKER 15 :
Oh, wait a minute. Waffle House? Yes, sir.
SPEAKER 24 :
Outside of Waffle House. Would you like to know what her name is?
SPEAKER 15 :
I do.
SPEAKER 24 :
Freedom Rider Zobrist.
SPEAKER 15 :
Wait a minute.
SPEAKER 24 :
That’s her nickname, right? No, that’s her name name. She exposed herself and danced in the parking lot of this Waffle House. The manager kept telling her to leave, and the girlfriend wasn’t leaving. So she turned, cursed and threatened to get a gun, shoot the manager and everybody in the whole place, pulled down her bridges, exposed her sexual organs, and then started dancing around the parking lot, according to the arrest report. The manager said then she approached him and tried to grab his no-no region. And then she licked him on the side of his face. Yes, she did. The witnesses on the scene couldn’t leave because she was dancing and running around and stopping cars from leaving the parking lot. So she was charged with lewd and indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, battery and assault. I don’t know, man. Florida Waffle House. I don’t know. Florida Waffle House. I don’t know. A man was arrested because he crashed a drone carrying drugs into a home. I can’t even with these people. This is some of the funniest. The drugs part or the whole part? The drone. I mean, carrying the drugs on a drone and then crashing it into a home. So homeowners called 911 early Tuesday morning after a man identified as 49-year-old Jason Brooks. He shut up at the front door. He wanted his drone back. And apparently the drone was carrying fentanyl and meth. And there’s surveillance video that shows him walking up to the house. It’s one thirty in the morning. And he’s like, my drones in your backyard. And the deputies were speaking to him. They’re like, you know, you can’t just go into people’s backyards. And he goes, I know that’s why I knocked. So. They said that he was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, attaching it because he had apparently a not street legal car. Didn’t have a license. I think it was revoked. And then he had possession of controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver. Two charges of that. Out-of-county warrant as well. And then I can imagine there’s going to be extra charges. I mean, it’s fentanyl and meth. And he had like a ton of fentanyl that was on that drone. Just droning it over. I mean, I guess that’s like an…
SPEAKER 15 :
Uber drugs? A little bit of that stuff can kill you. What if the drone just blew up or something and it sprayed fentanyl everywhere?
SPEAKER 24 :
It’s pretty terrifying, is it not? Good night. And then a Florida man clung to the hood of a car speeding down the road while drivers watched in horror. This was Fox 35 Orlando. They said it was really scary. They called the cops. It was due to a domestic dispute that started in a Wawa parking lot and escalated. The female driver, because you know it was a woman, she was arrested and charged. Stick with us. Third hour on the way. SPEAKER 29 :
well i think the thing that was really surprising to me is that i tried to articulate in a non-aggressive way exactly why our company wasn’t going to reinvest capital in california and what i found out this afternoon is that governor newsom has enough time to respond to a tweet as opposed to a private dm or having somebody reach out to remind everybody in america that in 2023 before we bought the intellectual property that the company went out of business we all know that bed bath went out of business a few years ago Now we’re trying to make a comeback, and I would think that a governor would want to attract investment, attract capital into the state. In fact, he did the opposite. He rejected it. It’s a very simple model for me. As a capitalist myself, I want to do business in all 50 states, and I want to do business with all people of all political parties. That’s part of being a capitalist. But what I don’t want to do is put my shareholders, my employees, and myself in a situation where we’re regulated to a zero. And we don’t want to spend $100 million coming into California and then find out that the state’s going to take it all and waste it all.
SPEAKER 24 :
I mean, that makes all the sense in the world. That’s the executive chairman of Bed Bath & Beyond, Marcus Limonis, who’s pushing back on these attacks. Because you had Gavin Newsom. Was it yesterday or the day before that we were talking about his social media accounts and who runs them? Where they were trolling this guy. I mean, Newsom was actually trolling the Bed Bath & Beyond guy on X. And I think it was, what is it? It was the press office, I think that was. Yeah. And that’s where he’s doing all this stuff, coming out with his press office on that. It’s just so lame. That’s just so lame. But they were going at them repeatedly. Repeatedly. And I don’t know if they think that that is going to be effective or not. It just looks… Campy. It just looks campy. So welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We are at the top of this third hour. And you can watch us do the radio program, Channel 347, DirecTV. You can also check out the chat over at Rumble. I wanted to play that. I wanted to contrast that with this. This is ultimately… It’s a British guy, but I think that this… Audio Soundbite encapsulates the entire financial ideology, the economic ideology of the left. So I saw this. Where did I see this? Was this morning or last night? This individual named Louis Goodall. And he was on this show saying that people don’t have the right to to inherit money or anything from their parents. Listen to this.
SPEAKER 05 :
What we’ve got at the moment is an aristocracy of wealth in this country. It’s also true of the United States as well. So what I would do, what I would do, and I wouldn’t be opposed to, by the way, I wouldn’t be opposed to 100% inheritance tax. Or maybe let’s say 99%. You know, my rule might be that if you can put it in two pee bags, then you can hand it over. That’s fine.
SPEAKER 1 :
99, 95%.
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m being provocative, but you see what I mean. I would not be against a far higher rate of inheritance tax than we have at the moment, which is 40% above a certain threshold. I wouldn’t be opposed to putting that to 50%, 60%, 70%. Why? Because I think the quid pro quo should be twofold. One, that helps fund public services, which actually helps level the playing field in achieving a true meritocracy. Two… It will help us reduce taxes on income. Because at the end of the day, I want to incentivize work. I want to incentivize productivity. I want to incentivize people to get up off their backsides and do more. You don’t have a right to inherit.
SPEAKER 24 :
Oh, that’s so lame. This guy is such a moron. What I do find interesting, and I was listening to this, is that he… is only opposed to people inheriting money from their parents, but he also believes somehow that he and everybody else, they’re entitled to what everyone else’s parents earn. So he’s against parents passing wealth or whatever onto their kids, but he’s not opposed to them giving it to him. or other individuals. There’s zero shame, by the way. I know I don’t have to say this, but there’s zero shame in working hard and leaving what you saved to your kids. It’s literally your right. It’s the human, it’s a goal of humanity. But I was thinking of this. This is so incredibly inconsistent because what he talks about, oh, I don’t want people to be, you know, I want them to be able to have X, Y, Z. I mean, he’s talking about benefits. Is that not a gift? I mean, if you’re talking about inheritance as though it’s some kind of gift that you can’t pass on to your kids, then so too should be benefits if you want to be entirely consistent, which he’s not. I mean, and there’s not just money. It’s also housing and you also have vehicles and advice and things of that nature. Why does he have a right to call the shots for a wealth that he didn’t earn? That’s it.
SPEAKER 15 :
He doesn’t. He thinks he does. Here’s a point that I don’t see people making is… When I was out earning money and working really hard, I took time away from my kids. My kids actually did have to suffer through that. My kids made a sacrifice. And I think me leaving what I’m earning to them because they were included in that sacrifice made for those earnings. That’s why. That’s why for me.
SPEAKER 24 :
I completely agree. This is all like the socialism, Marxism, whatever nonsense, you know. I mean, I’m just curious as to like how far his rejection of this goes. I mean, should what about if you leave your home? I mean, that I’m just assuming that that falls into what he’s saying here. He’s against all of that. But I don’t. But why is it? That you can give it to people that are not related to you, but people that you can’t give it to your own actual children. I mean, what makes your own actual children in his mind any less legitimate than strangers who think that they have a right to what you earn?
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, hearing his rant, he was trying to make it sound unfair, like somehow someone sending their kids and leaving kids money was unfair to society as a whole.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 15 :
And it’s absolutely ridiculous.
SPEAKER 24 :
Well, and also… I mean, what he’s talking about is greed, his own greed and the greed of other individuals. I just find it. It’s greed that’s dressed up in this false pretense, this false virtue. Oh, well, we want to, you know, for the better good. Well, the better good has never come from the government. They only make things worse. The better good has come from private charitable organizations, the majority of which have always been faith-based. So if you want to have that argument, that ends it right there. What he doesn’t realize, the real argument that he’s making is somehow strangers are more legitimate to someone than their own children. And that what you earn and all of your hard work isn’t your own. If your wealth is and what you earn, your pay, your savings… That is the direct that’s the end result. That’s the final stage of your labor. That is the in its final form. That’s that’s the final stage of labor. So ultimately, what he’s arguing is that you’re an indentured servant, that you not only don’t get the freedom to choose what to do with the end stage of your labor, but that ultimately the very activity that brought you that end stage of labor, your labor is also really not your own, that there is nothing that you have that is your own. That is what he’s arguing. It is an absolutely ignorant, mathematically illiterate, illiberal argument. But that’s how communists that’s how they that’s what they think. And it’s all rooted from jealousy. All of it is jealousy. It’s not if he doesn’t have anything to inherit. That’s not anybody else’s fault. And it’s not no one should be shamed into thinking that it’s bad if they work very hard and leave their kids, whether it’s a bank account or a home or a car. There are a lot of times where dads will leave their, you know, vintage, their collectible cars to a son or something like that. Or, you know, a family heirloom shotgun, anything. That is not anyone else’s to claim. You don’t get to claim it. And your status economically does not give you greater leverage in making a claim on something that is somebody else’s that you didn’t earn. It’s such a nonsense argument. And of course, it’s made by some idiot Brit. I go in the world. This is just it’s so goofy. But this is that is where the left is. That is what they think. That’s just a British guy verbalizing it. And when I think of stuff like, you know, just to tie it in to the audio that we played of the CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond and the stuff that he’s saying to Gavin Newsom, you know, California punishes businesses and that if you’re successful, then somehow that they they deserve a cut of it. They deserve somehow a cut of it that you somehow have to give that to them by way of being in California. That’s why that guy was like, we’re not having brick and mortar stores and we’re not going to do that anymore. You can just order online. And Newsom’s all apoplectic and he’s acting like he’s personally offended. Well, you created the environment that made it inhospitable for those businesses. You don’t you don’t get to complain about it now. It’s just so asinine. I just I don’t know. It’s incredibly frustrating. We were talking a little bit earlier about the changes of Cracker Barrel. I underestimated a lot of you actually also hate modern farmhouse design. I’ve already started getting some feedback on that. And it’s the women. I actually thought it was going to be the men. It’s the women that hate it. When did that happen? They hate it? Yeah, they don’t like it. They’re like, it’s so boring. And somebody said the millennial gray, because I said the phrase millennial gray. They said millennial gray. Hang on, let me bring this up. So this is from Beth. And Beth says, millennial gray reminds me of a subway bathroom. Oh, because apparently I guess her best subway bathrooms in her area. She’s from New York. I guess that that sounds pretty depressing. I don’t get it. But we’re talking about the changes in the decor to Cracker Barrel and the logo and all of that. I just think it’s I think it’s brand suicide more than anything. And I think it’s these people who think we’re going to make it modern and we’re just going to change up a couple of things on our menu. And that’s what’s going to make everybody come back in. No, it’s marketing. You just got to market better. Do you want old country nostalgia? Then come here and eat a Cracker Barrel. Now their logo is really generic. I like the older logo better, personally. I don’t know. But I don’t know. I just feel… I’m a fan of nostalgia.
SPEAKER 15 :
I guess I’m at that age where I’m a fan of nostalgia. And that’s what Cracker Barrel represented to me. And it looks like they’re trying to walk or run away from that.
SPEAKER 24 :
Although I will say I had to get a crown because I chipped a tooth. I actually broke a tooth on a jawbreaker that I got there. Those white speckled ones, man, those things do not play. You know what going into it.
SPEAKER 26 :
It wasn’t their fault.
SPEAKER 24 :
They make stuff you can hurt yourself on. That’s how it should be, right? You want the real thing. You’re going for a jawbreaker. I don’t want it to be a jawbreaker name. I really want to crack a tooth and have a dentist visit as a result of it.
SPEAKER 14 :
It actually broke my jaw.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, it’s just crazy. Also, let’s see here. I’m pulling up a few other things that we can get to. So, I know we had… Hold up. Oh, this is it. So coming up, I’m going to get into one of the things that was happening when all of the leaders were meeting POTUS at the White House earlier. And the European Union leader, Ursula von der Leyen, apparently did not get the kind of I wouldn’t say red carpet treatment, but she was expecting the same treatment that’s afforded to a democratically elected leader of a sovereign entity, which the EU is not. It’s a patchwork quilt of a bunch of cobbled together backroom deals. That’s what the EU is. And there at one point she was asked to leave. the meeting so that Trump and the European leaders could speak freely. And very interesting. We’re going to talk about some of these other things that didn’t quite make the headlines as we move. Angel Studios, you need to get a guild membership over at Angel Studios. There’s all kinds of stuff you with Angel Studios. You get to decide what is made. not these elites who literally never touch grass in the middle of America. And with a premium membership, you get ad-free streaming, full access to their library, and two free tickets to every theatrical release. And you can reshape the culture that we leave for our kids. SPEAKER 24 :
All right, we’ve got our quick five segment here. So let me get started with that. We have this is kind of crazy. A streamer found dead in bed 10 days after torture and sleep deprivation. This is crazy. This individual passed away following a broadcast at his home in Nice, 46 years old. He apparently endured 10 days of nights of torture, including extreme physical violence and sleep deprivation. People raised alarm after watching his final stream. What in the world is this? Le Monde, French newspaper, reported that he was known for taking parts in videos depicting this stuff. And apparently, I guess it killed. This is awful. And who watches this? Sick people. Good grief. I saw this headline. Filmmakers claim the late Superman actor Christopher Reeve would have opposed Donald Trump. Okay. Who cares? I’ll raise your hands. Nobody? Okay. You know, maybe these filmmakers should maybe make some original films, not derivative nonsense that nobody wants to watch. How about that? We’ll just leave it there. Also, Kamala Harris is announcing her 107 Days Tour. We’re going to talk about that coming up. Did you guys know that? You get more Kamala. I know that’s exactly what you wanted. A central Washington woman was arrested going 74 on a 35 on her way to pay a speeding ticket. California resident tests positive for the plague. What? That’s like an old timey disease. That was from fleas, by the way. I learned that from Ratatouille.
SPEAKER 15 :
What century is it?
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, that’s a great question. It was in Lake Tahoe. Isn’t that a bougie area? Lake Tahoe. Isn’t that like super bougie? How in the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot do you get a plague positive test? Apparently, now here’s what’s crazy. The person was said to have been bitten by an infected flea while camping. See, it was fleas that infected the mice that spread it in Europe back in the day. Again, that’s a lesson that I learned because of Ratatouille. That’s insane. So I don’t want any plague viruses like coming and plaguing all of us. We have a lot more on the way. Don’t go anywhere because we got to talk about this 107 days tour. Stick with us. Did you know the whole higher thread count means better sheets thing is just a myth? Kind of like thinking that cold weather gives you a cold or that we only use 10% of our brains. The real secret to great sheets isn’t thread count, but thread quality. That’s why you’ll love Boll and Branch. They use the highest quality organic cotton threads, so their sheets are not only soft and luxurious right out of the box, but they actually get softer with each wash. The first night you’ll try them, you’re going to feel the difference. It’s like climbing into a five-star hotel bed every night, and your sleep will never be better. I mean, I’m not going back to my old sheets. If you’re ready to upgrade your sleep, feel the difference an extraordinary night’s sleep can make with Bull & Branch. SPEAKER 01 :
We had an issue where you had an illegal alien truck driver that got a commercial driver’s license in the state of California, employed by a California company, kill three people in Florida. This guy didn’t even speak English. We’re bringing him up on charges. He’s going to face a lot. And I can announce, Jesse, that I said initially the company needs to be held accountable. And we’ve been working with the federal government and they are pulling that company’s license to do business because you cannot employ somebody who cannot read the road signs.
SPEAKER 24 :
I mean, that’s true. You can’t have somebody who can’t speak English and can’t read road signs driving semis on our nation’s highways. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. Chats at Rumble Channel 3. 47 DirecTV is where you can watch us do the radio show. This is about that truck driver who was here illegally who somehow got a CDL and ended up killing three people in a crash because he made an illegal U-turn across the Florida highway. He couldn’t read the signs, and apparently it came out that he had badly flunked all of the English fluency and all of the roadside tests following the smash-up. That’s according to U.S. Department of Transportation. He only answered two of the 12 questions correctly. When he was being tested for English language proficiency, which is actually pretty important if you’re driving a ginormous semi truck and you have to pay attention to the road signs because they’re wondering if that’s like why he ended up going onto a part of the road where it said official use only and then ended up killing the people that he killed. And when he was asked to read the highway signs and explain their meetings, he literally could only identify one of the four signs shown to him. And this was after even the fact. They were talking to him after the crash. They said he entered the U.S. illegally in 2018. He was granted a CDL in California and Washington state. Both of these are far left blue states where anybody you can come in and get a driver’s license and vote doesn’t matter if you’re here legally or not. So you have these immigration policies and Democrat states that are killing people in other states. And I think that these lawmakers that are allowing this to happen over and over again are partially responsible because they are the reasons. Gavin Newsom owns this. And by the way, Republicans need to do a better job of making that connection. They’re allowing him to skirt on this and to distract with trolling all of these people who have gone on their way on his little podcast and all this stuff. You know, they all this thirsty clickbait nonsense. And here you have this guy who championed the policies that have now killed three people. in florida on the road because they just believe that oh no you should just go ahead and let him drive semis why not just let him you know buy do everything i mean it was preventable and he had cut through a highway that was marked official use only and his he blocked a four-lane highway And apparently could not even read the warning signs that he wasn’t supposed to do that. They had footage inside his cab. He was completely unaffected by this. And I don’t know who the guy he had in his passenger seat was. The guy didn’t have any shoes on. He was chilling, feet on the dash. I mean, they were clearly nonplussed about any of those. It was weird. And… Federal law has mandated, first off, if you’re gonna get your CDL, you have to be here legally, number one. Number two, you have to be able to speak enough sufficient English that you can actually converse with the public and then read the road signs. When they were asking him after the crash, he couldn’t read any of the road signs. He probably couldn’t read that one. And in California, Well, Washington, they allow their test, their CDL test to be taken in English, Spanish, Russian and Serbian Croatian. I have no idea how this guy was able to get a CDL. No idea. However it happened, it was illegal. Killed three people. I mean… I feel bad for these families that are now having to deal with these losses. That’s horrific. Where’s the left? The left is nowhere to be found on this. Nowhere, nowhere, nowhere. And I don’t know. It’s just sad. The whole thing is sad. It’s so sad because it’s so preventable. It was so preventable. This is the thing that’s I mean, thankfully, we are. dealing with the border. And apparently we have like operational control fully over it, I think is what DHS said. This brings me to, you know, obviously Europe’s having major problems and they’ve been one by one, a lot of these European nations, whether it’s Germany, Austria, et cetera, they’ve been saying, no, we’re not going to, we’re going to close our borders. We’re not going to accept everyone as this EU pass through. So when Trump had all of these leaders, this is a very interesting thing to note. When Trump had all of these leaders to the White House, And there was at one point, because he also had one of the secretaries of NATO and then the head of the EU, Ursula von der Leyen, who’s like a James Bond villain, I think. And they had all of them in the White House. He was sitting at his desk. They had the European leaders in front of him. And there was at one moment when they asked Ursula von der Leyen to leave because they wanted to only specifically talk about He wanted to only talk to the elected leaders. You had the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. You had Alexander Stubb, who’s the Finnish president. You had Ukraine’s Zelensky, obviously Trump, Italy’s Maloney, Francis Macron. And then you had the German Chancellor Merz. And they had. Ursula van der Leyen. They wanted to have a private chat with the elected leaders of these sovereign countries, so they asked her to step outside. People were very mad. They said that she had to leave the room and that the Americans did not see her as the elected head of a state. And the Green Party immediately was saying, no, no, no, Ms. Von Der Leyen represents over 400 million people. You know, she was the voice of states that were not present, that are highly relevant to this debate on Ukraine. But the problem is, is that… She doesn’t. In fact, there was who is this? This is a German blogger who had a big piece over at I think it was on Substack. They said, yeah, she represents over 400 million people in the same way that rude clerks at the Registry of Motor Vehicles represent local drivers. She doesn’t have a budget. She doesn’t command an army. She has no… She’s not even democratically elected. She’s picked under these, you know, with these behind-the-back handshakes and under-table deals. That’s how she’s selected. And the… She always they’ve noticed that and so many of these photos with EU meetings, she always pushes herself right to the center of the photo. And she tried doing this. There’s video of it. You can see her kind of being escorted to the side. She was trying to position herself in the middle of the photos. And everybody and the handlers for the administration were they directed her to stand on the wings on the side of all of the other elected leaders. That makes sense. I mean, she that makes sense. And they needed the freedom to be able to speak freely as the elected leaders of their nations. You needed to be able to have, you know, the French leader speak with the Italian leader and the German leader and the Finnish leader and the British leader and the American leader. They all needed to be able to speak freely. Even though. I’m pretty sure that whatever was said, Emmanuel Macron immediately ran to tell her right after I’m positive. But that makes I they did not like that. I think their nose was out of sorts over that. But I don’t care. I don’t care. I was laughing at this headline. Disney is pricing creatives in Hollywood to pitch ideas for original movies targeted towards Gen Z young men. I just, nobody knows how they’re going to accomplish this, Cain. I like what my friend Dave Burge said. He goes, he said, if only there was some way for Hollywood to crack the code on the eternal sphinx-like mystery of what subject matter appeals to 17-year-old boys. If only. You mean all of the, they didn’t, they weren’t doing it with the derivative, uh, oversaturated superhero market. Leadership has been pricing these creatives per variety. They’re trying to bring young men back to Disney. I don’t think that’s going to happen. I don’t think that’s going to happen. So they’ve been calling for original concepts. They said that numerous studies show that Gen Z men in particular are a lonely, gaming-obsessed group who were hampered in their formative years by COVID. Yeah, well, you guys did that, and I hope you burn because of it. I don’t feel bad for them, do you? I don’t feel bad for them at all. Marvel hasn’t done it. Lucasfilm hasn’t done it. I think that’s why also there’s been so many of those types of movies released over the past several years. Because they think that that’s going to be the panacea. That’s the end all, be all. That’s the cure for all of it. And it’s not. It hasn’t been working. Especially Disney doing Star Wars. My gosh, they’ve ruined it. So they’re trying to recruit… The mandate they said to recruit young males goes high as a C-suite, and their task is, I mean, they’re bringing in heavy hitters to try to figure out how to do this. They tried to reboot the Indiana Jones in 23, and you know why that didn’t work? Because they had a chick, and nobody believed that that Mary Sue was going to do anything. Nobody believed that that was going to happen. She wasn’t believable. It was just a bad story. It was lazy. So, I don’t know. They said so far the sweet spot for Disney has been millennials, but now the interest is kind of gone. The Minecraft movie? Meh. That’s, you know, that’s what Gen Z played when they were bitty. that’s not you know i don’t know i i i think they’re they deserve to have a hard time because they created it for themselves they decided to do all of this like hyper third wave and fourth wave nonsense i don’t know in the meantime kamala harris is going on a 107 days tour her new book 107 days she’s having a conversation with kamala harris it kicks off on september 24th in new york at first i was like why is it 107 and then i was like oh yeah She’s not coming to Dallas, but she is going to Houston and she’ll be in Chicago. She’s going to London also for some reason. That’s her only, she’s going to be in Toronto and then London. Those are her two non-domestic dates. I don’t know why she would be going over there, but okay. Does she even have that kind of support over there? Like why?
SPEAKER 15 :
Her book and whoever the investors on this book are what making this happen.
SPEAKER 24 :
But why? Who was going to sit there and listen to her deliver word salad for us? She’s just one of the most overhyped people I’ve ever seen in my life. And I thought that there was no way possible looking at some of these other Democrat politicians. But good heavens, I can’t. I don’t think her book is going to sell well. How much you want to bet that she doesn’t she doesn’t complete all of her dates? I bet they have to drop some because I just she doesn’t it doesn’t sell well.
SPEAKER 15 :
That’s a good point.
SPEAKER 24 :
We have more on the way as we roll the words today in stupidity. Caltech is a Florida-based firearms company and one of the newest… pistols that they have out is the PR57. It’s a rotary barrel pistol chambered in 5.7, 40% lighter than the competition, making it easier for concealed carry. And it was designed to be 40% lighter, and they accomplished this a couple of different ways. The rotary barrel, the innovative rotary barrel makes it lighter, but also the unique top-loading design. So they replace traditional magazines with stripper clips. That gives you a slimmer carry profile. and a 20-plus-1 capacity. And the MSRP makes it affordable at only $399. Made in Florida, USA company, family-owned. You can learn more about the PR-57 Chambered in 5.7 at keltecweapons.com. That’s K-E-L-T-E-C weapons.com. Tell them Dana sent you.

SPEAKER 24 :
So you can leave your shoes on going through TSA now, but there’s a couple of items that they’ve added. They have a big old long list of stuff that you can’t fly with in your check bag or carry-on bag, or it’s in your carry-on and you’ve got to put it in your check bag. So now they’ve announced that they are adding to their list of prohibited items any cordless hair tool. so cordless curling irons cordless flat irons uh anything like that it has to go in your checked bag and it has to be like covered with a i guess they think it’s gonna they’re worried it’s gonna accidentally turn on or something like that without a power source okay well if it’s stored with a battery if there’s a battery on it yeah yeah i guess they do yeah i can’t accidentally turn on i guess but
SPEAKER 15 :
When you said wireless hair things, I was like, what, a brush? A comb? Those are wireless.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, no, like something like that. But I never travel with that anyway because I’m like, I always just want to have the cord one so I can have continuous power source because the cordless ones don’t last very long. But also other items, I think, what is it? Yeah, portable phone chargers. If you have lithium batteries, vaping stuff, you can’t.
SPEAKER 15 :
So they must be having incidents with lithium batteries in the air. Maybe the pressure changes in the plane itself.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, and it makes me think that some people with their cordless stuff that it turned on. Maybe that’s, uh, yeah, but they have a whole list on their website. I mean, I, it’s nice to not have to take off your shoes, but I do wish that they had signage out letting you know, cause I don’t know the, uh, machines that they use to look at your stuff. I don’t know if it’s one that you have to take out your liquids or your laptop because some of them you don’t. And if you go up through TSA and you take them out and it’s one of those machines where you don’t have to, they yell at you. Like, you don’t have to take that out. It’s like, okay, but it could have been a sign. You know, that would have been helpful. There are no signs on any of it letting you know that you don’t have to do that. And I can’t tell you, literally every time I fly, there’s always multiple people that get yelled at. And I always ask, and usually they’re really nice, although every now and then you’ll get one agent that’s aggravated that you just didn’t read their minds and magically know that this was the machine that you don’t have to do that with.
SPEAKER 15 :
So does it affect your laptop then? Because the laptop has a lithium battery in it. Um, so did they say anything specifically about laptops? Cause you can usually take them carry on no problem.
SPEAKER 24 :
Well, yeah. I mean, I, I always have to cause I work on every flight.
SPEAKER 15 :
So I, and those batteries aren’t drastically different from batteries that you’d have in your little power pack or in your curling wand or whatever.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah. I don’t know. I mean, it’s weird how they, I don’t know. It’s weird, but, um, Yeah, I think it’s, I mean, I get the cordless hair tool. Some of the other stuff I think is just dumb. I don’t know. I think it’s weird. Like one time I had a crochet hook and they were like. I will say I’ve always had the most problems in Phoenix. Dallas is real easy. Dallas is super easy. I think even JFK was real easy. Reagan International is real easy. But Phoenix was always the one that gave me, they almost made me miss a flight because they detained me for two hours because they kept saying that, I think they were just being, but.
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m just worried about when we head to Vegas or SHOT Show. Because I have a lot of equipment that I take. So I guess I’m going to have to just a whole severed bag and check it all.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah. I mean, I like just doing carry-ons, but I don’t know. We’ll see. We’ll see how this all goes. All right. Today’s stupidity came.
SPEAKER 15 :
All right, Juan. This is cut 14. This is D.C. Mayor Bowser. She doesn’t want you to believe that Trump has done a takeover of D.C., but as it relates to law enforcement, he certainly has. Listen to this. Cut 14.
SPEAKER 26 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 03 :
Arthur Jones, the second with ABC News.
SPEAKER 15 :
do you worry about students attendance on monday with the president’s federal takeover and also is let me let me stop you there there has been no takeover uh but there has been and guess what there’s been improvements too so not only did he take over there’s been absolute improvements drop in every metric of crime that you can think of so Thanks, Muriel.
SPEAKER 24 :
Yeah, there you go. Folks, that does it for us today. I am out tomorrow, but I will be back behind the mic with you on Monday. Have a great weekend. See you then.
