As conservatives, we’ve already rebranded the Democrat Party because we refuse to call them the Democratic Party. There is nothing Democratic about what they do. We refuse to say Democratic. We just say Democrat. Or the Dems. Or the Democrat Party. There’s nothing Democratic about these… tyrannical, radical individuals. It’s the Democrat Party. In fact, once in a while, if I’m reading a news story, I’ll read something and I’ll say, I’ll read from the story and I’ll quote the article and I’ll say, Democratic. And people get annoyed with me and say, Mike, don’t say Democratic. It’s Democrat. Some call them Demo-rats. Some call them demon rats. Some call them dimwits. But we don’t call them Democratic. We call them Democrat. But from here to four, they have to always be called the Democrat Socialist Party. Because every prominent Democrat in America is now endorsing and embracing a flat-out Democrat Socialist Party. communist, radical extremist named Zoran Mamdani. So from now on, it’s the Democrat Socialist Party. If Hakeem Jeffries, who waited and waited, has now decided reluctantly it’s time to endorse Mamdani the commie, then we at least have to officially acknowledge that the Democrat Party is embracing socialism. Mamdani denies he’s a communist, even though he talks about redistribution of the wealth, seizing private property, and all the same crap from Karl Marx that we know means communism. But, hey, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He denies that he’s a communist. I think he’s a communist. You think he’s a communist. But we know he’s definitely a socialist. And so let’s call today’s Democrat Party, now that they’re all on board with Zoran Mamdani, let’s call them what they are. the Democrat Socialist Party. Here’s cut number eight. Well, as I indicated last several weeks, we’ve been immersed in the intensity around the government shutdown and the run up to that in advance of September 30th and the expiration of the fiscal year. But I support the Democratic nominee, as I indicated, and we’re in alignment in terms of the issue related to affordability. and the need to address it decisively for the city of New York. And of course, affordability is an issue for people all across the country. From a public safety standpoint, I supported the notion that he would retain police commissioner Jessica Tisch to continue to lead the NYPD forward. That’s incredibly important from a public safety standpoint for every community, including as a high priority, the safety and security of the Jewish community. And in terms of the moment that we find ourselves in, Donald Trump represents an existential threat to the city of New York and beyond because of the extreme assault that has taken place throughout this year on the economy, on health care, on farmers, on veterans, on law abiding immigrant communities, on due process, on the rule of law. and, of course, on the American way of life itself. And we all, as Americans, are going to have to be aligned and pushing back so we can end this national nightmare that Donald Trump has visited upon the American people.

He’s a former New York assemblyman, great advocate for the Jewish community in New York. And Dove says the only way to stop Mom Donnie now is to vote for Cuomo. That’s the Hugh Hewitt logic. When you’ve got Hakeem Jeffries endorsing the socialist candidate for mayor in New York, the Democrat socialist, Zoran Mamdani, they’re all lining up now. You’ve got to hear his tortured explanation from PBS the other night as to why. He’s on a panel here with Jeff Bennett, Kimberly Aiken’s store. He says, look, it kind of felt wrong, this ballroom construction. But look, it’s the right thing to do.

So the remarkable scenes at the White House this week is President Trump greenlit the total demolition of the East Wing. You can see it there to make room for a ballroom. The price for this, the price tag for this has now grown to some $300 million. On the screen right there, this is the list that the NewsHour has obtained of the private and corporate sponsors that have contributed to this project. So, David, the last time we talked about this, you said the idea wasn’t necessarily a bad one. Do you still feel that way now that the East Wing has been reduced to rubble and dust?

Well, I must say this. The photos are shocking because there is something sacred about that building. And it feels like somebody taking a claw into a wedding cake. It just feels wrong. But I have long believed that the White House is just too small. You know, it’s built for. John Adams and Abigail Adams. And people have added wings on since, of course. But it’s just the rooms and the West Wing is so sacred, you can’t touch that. But, you know, the Obamas used to have their state dinners out in tents. And John Kennedy, they had their state dinners. They had to spread everybody in different rooms. So the idea of having a room where we could have a state dinner or a big event, that still strikes me as as the right thing to do. And I’m hoping future presidents will scrape the guilds off and make it nice.

Kimberly, you could argue that this ballroom project is in many ways the kind of perfect distillation of how President Trump sees the presidency, something that needs to be remade in his image. Do you see it that way?

Well, I don’t. And listen, we can have a debate, a discussion about how big the White House is and how old it is. I’ve been in that press room. I know that a renovation is called for. But it’s the people’s house and the idea that it has been corporate. The corporatization is what is in charge of this rebuild in a way that is in no way transactional. I had a lot of people in my mentions today saying, hey, it’s saving the taxpayers money now. But what are taxpayers paying for? The reason that things that happen in the White House ought to be paid by taxpayers is that keeps the White House accountable to them. Now, who is the president accountable to? Google? Corporate interest? Meta? Unknown individual donors? That is exactly what the emoluments clause and other constitutional measures are supposed to protect against. Who will the president be beholden to now? The American people or all the folks who ponied up to help pay for this ballroom?

Gives me a headache. As if donors, private donors, is a new concept to that young lady. And you can see the look on her face of just utter disgust when David Brooks said, yeah, let’s do it. How about this headline from ABC News? I saw this over the weekend. Are you ready for this? This is going to shock you. At least two magnolia trees appear to have been removed to make way for Trump’s White House campaign. Ballroom. Satellite images. They use satellite images to determine that President Trump’s project to build a $300 million grand ballroom has appeared to take down at least six trees on the White House grounds, including two historic magnolia trees. Magnolia trees, do you hear me? Do you understand the significance of this? Magnolia trees. It’s got to stop. It’s got to stop right now. It’s out of control. Two magnolia trees. The attempt to commandeer the language is one of the great tricks of the left. To hijack… Normal, illegal aliens are illegal aliens. They are illegal immigrants. They don’t even like the term illegal. I’m sure Brandon Johnson, this Rhodes Scholar, thinks that illegal is a racist term. When you break the law, you’ve committed an illegal act. It’s not, this isn’t brain surgery. Nothing hard about this to understand. And at the end of the day, The party has – we shouldn’t ever call them Democrats anymore. I did this whole thing earlier on the show where I explained we don’t say Democratic because there’s nothing Democratic about this bunch. But there’s not even anything left to say. They’re the Democrat socialists of America. Kathy Hochul over the weekend, the Democrat governor – of New York said, elect Zoran and we take back America. There you go. There you go. The crowd’s shrieking, tax the rich, tax the rich. This isn’t going to end well. for these folks on the left. The Democrat socialists are not going to have a happy outcome because Trump just keeps winning. Here’s cut number 10.
