SPEAKER 04 :
I walk in here and I know stories I should avoid. There’s like an angel and a devil on each of my shoulders. And the angel says, stay away from the Secret Service Kamala Harris story, Mike. Just stay away from it. It’s just going to get you in trouble. You don’t need to get yourself in trouble. Don’t bring it up. Don’t mention it. Yeah, the media is going to be screaming about it, but stay away from it. Then the devil on me says, hey, Mike, speak your heart. Go ahead and bare your soul. Go ahead and react as you would do as a talk show host with many years of experience to the announcement that President Donald Trump has canceled Secret Service protection for former Vice President Kamala Harris. CNN, of course, broke the news because naturally CNN broke the news. They found a letter that has been revealed. But as you get into the story, and this is why I want to talk about it, because it’s intriguing. And let me tell you why it’s interesting as heck. Here’s the law. You want to know what the law is? If I had to give you a pop quiz, you probably know that former presidents get Secret Service protection for life. So Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, they have Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives. And I believe that most people would say they should. Do you know what the rule is about vice presidents? You want to know what the vice presidential rule is? It’s six months. So all Trump is doing is following federal law. Federal law provides vice presidents with six months of Secret Service protection after leaving office. But Joe Biden… secretly extended Kamala Harris’s Secret Service protection for an additional year. No one knew about that. This was kind of hush-hush. And, of course, you know what the media is going to say. Well, she’s black. She’s a woman. You know, there’s all this controversy. So now President Trump sent a letter saying, that reads, you are hereby authorized to discontinue any security-related procedures previously authorized by executive memorandum beyond those required by law for the following individual, effective September 1st, 2025, former Vice President Kamala D. Harris. Boom. Her Secret Service protection ends Monday. Just, of course, as she begins her book tour. That’s what the media is going to say. Oh, the poor woman is going out there just trying to sell her book. And now she’s going to have to have private security. Okay. Now, let me just give you my heartfelt reaction. I’m on this kick this week. I don’t know why, but I’m feeling it. A little graciousness goes a long way. It’s okay to be a little gracious. What’s wrong with a little graciousness? Look at the Cracker Barrel thing. I was the one guy who kept telling all of you, and you still want to march on Cracker Barrel with pitchforks and torches. Cracker Barrel caved. Cracker Barrel brought everything back. Cracker Barrel said we’re not going to change everything. Cracker Barrel is changing a lot of their ideologies and all that. Okay, so let’s take the win. Be gracious. Support Cracker Barrel. Oh, Mike, a lot of you are saying, don’t do that. We got to take it all down. We hate them. We hate them. They have a woke CEO. So maybe I’m still in that gracious kick when I point this out. Wouldn’t it have been a little gracious for Trump just to sort of let this, leave it alone, let her have Secret Service protection detail for a year, for the extra year? Would it have really been that big a deal? Now, no one would have known about this. I guess now we know there will be one more, you know, chink in the armor for the mainstream media to hammer Trump over. And it would have been a non-issue because no one would have even been talking about it. But I guarantee you they’ll be talking about it now. I promise you this is going to be a big story today. It just broke as we took to the airwaves. So let me turn it over to you. Let me defer to the smartest audience in the world. and invite you to call or text 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Call or text here in the Relief Factor studios. You think it’s a good thing or a bad thing that President Trump and the administration has revoked Secret Service protection for Kamala Harris. Now, before you call, keep in mind a couple of things. Federal law… provides the vice president with only six months of protection after leaving office. So she’s not really, by law, entitled to Secret Service protection anymore. Biden secretly extended her protection for a year. Trump is saying, sorry, no can do. PhD weight loss has changed my life. And I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. Tons of text messages on the MyPillow text line as we see a live view of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on the Salem News Channel live cam. Check it out, snc.tv. We appreciate you tuning in. Somebody was telling me they found us on Samsung TV Plus 1177. It is so fun to watch Salem News Channel because it comes with all the Samsung TVs. A lot of people have Samsung TVs. I do. I do. Samsung TV Plus 1177. Check it out. SNC.TV. Here’s Georgia. Susie writes, yeah, she was so gracious to Justice Kavanaugh. That’s true. Sarasota brings up a good question. Is Mike Pence receiving Secret Service protection, or are there any other former vice presidents receiving Secret Service protection? I’d like to find that out. And that should be an easy call for us to make. Tracy, can you call one of our contacts that can maybe figure, we can get a confirmation from Mike Pence’s office pretty quickly as to whether or not he still gets Secret Service protection. Because that would be pretty informative. It would be good to know. Here’s a text from Tampa. Have we not learned our lesson? You give them an inch, they’ll take five miles. The answer is no. She should not get any special treatment. And David in Virginia says, Mike, if she can waste a billion or more on a stupid campaign, she can go get a GoFundMe page to pay for her private security. What do you think? If you’re just joining us, it’s going to be a big story today. President Trump ending Secret Service protection for Kamala Harris, even though she’s not entitled to it by federal law. Joe Biden extended it by an extra year. Let’s see what you think. We’ll start with Preston in the Alabama area. Preston, welcome. Happy Friday, sir. How are you?
SPEAKER 08 :
Hi, good morning. Yeah, they should definitely take that away from him. I’m sorry, from her. Because, yeah, President Trump needs as many distractions. Ready, Eric?
SPEAKER 04 :
Let’s go. Let’s hit it. Let’s hit it. We found one.
SPEAKER 01 :
I’m the copy old troll who lives under the bridge.
SPEAKER 04 :
We caught one. David’s in Florida. Hi, David.
SPEAKER 06 :
Hi, Mike. I agree with some of your texters there. I look at it this way. She has too many alternative avenues to get security. I was a police officer for 31 years. I get less than $700 a month to go find my own insurance.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right.
SPEAKER 06 :
So, you know, if anything, in this president’s go, you know, give them an allotment per year for what they can have for security, and anything they want above that can come out of their pocket.
SPEAKER 04 :
Can get private security, yeah. But let me, David, let me… You can sell a few more books. But let me, well, good luck with that. Who’s going to buy that thing? You’re going to buy Why I Lost?
SPEAKER 06 :
Maybe George Soros will send a few of his goons over to protect him.
SPEAKER 04 :
Perhaps, perhaps. But let me play devil’s advocate for a minute. And I like the one text who said, so much for graciousness. She’s not a very gracious person. But that’s what would make Trump’s graciousness even better. You know what I mean? If Trump said… All right, let her have the protection. Obviously, nobody wants anybody hurt. There’s a lot of crazies in the world. Wouldn’t that be okay? Would that really bother you if he just didn’t do anything about it? Or do you want him to step in and remove the security detail?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, let me ask you this, then. Would that move the Democratic or Democratic needle at all if he did that?
SPEAKER 04 :
No, but you know whose needle it might move are independents who are kind of on the fence and they’re not quite decided about what Trump – and who Trump really is. And I happen to believe he’s a pretty gracious guy. I mean, you know, again, I’ve said this before. I’ve gotten to know him a little bit. I’ve interviewed him on a number of occasions. I’ve spent one-on-one time with him. I consider that a real privilege to know him. He’s funny. He’s warm. He is actually gracious. And I could see him doing that. I could see him saying, you know what, leave it alone, let her have the protection. Now, I would then make sure everybody knows it. I think that’s Gerald’s point up in Windsor, Canada, Ontario. Gerald, welcome to the show. How are you doing?
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m doing wonderful. Thank you for all of your shows. Yes, I believe that Mr. Trump should leave it in place, but in one of his speeches, answering questions with the media should say, listen, I could have taken this away.
SPEAKER 04 :
But I did.
SPEAKER 05 :
But I think she did. And anybody else in public does because. When he was asked what he would do for revenge, he said success. Success. That said it in my mind right there.
SPEAKER 04 :
There it is. Gerald, you feel like that’s exactly how I feel. I kind of wish, and it doesn’t, you know, look, it’s an opinion. It’s like belly buttons. We’ve all got one. It’s okay. But ultimately, I really do think that would have been the way to go, to somehow make sure this story got out, that Biden had secretly extended her protection and that Trump had the opportunity to revoke it, and instead he said, nope, let’s just keep it in place for another year. Now, look, they wouldn’t have given him any credit for it because they never do, but that’s okay. That’s all right. I don’t know what it is. I’m just feeling in this mood this week that a little graciousness, a little bit of taking the high road is probably a good thing. I mean, there’s a lot of really deranged activity going on right now. The behavior of Gavin Newsom is so wild, where he’s got this shtick down now, where he’s trying to mimic Trump. And J.D. Vance was asked about it and said, I love his line, he’s going to make them crazy. You talk about a real troll? Here’s trolling. You can’t mimic the king.
SPEAKER 01 :
Gavin Newsom sure thinks he’s a comedian these days on social media, and so does much of the left. His polling numbers have gone way up since he started mimicking President Trump on social media.
SPEAKER 07 :
What do you make of Governor Newsom? I make of Governor Newsom that you said he’s mimicking Donald Trump, and I think that’s exactly right. The lesson of Donald Trump, the lesson of President Trump in American politics is you’ve got to be authentic to yourself. And when I see Gavin Newsom trying to act like Donald Trump, that’s the opposite of authenticity. He’s not trying to be Gavin Newsom, whoever that is. He’s trying to be a fake carbon copy of Donald Trump, and it just doesn’t work. You can’t mimic the king. You can’t mimic the master. You ought to just go and be yourself. And I think the American people would like that a lot more than a cheap imitation of the president of the United States.
SPEAKER 04 :
Bingo. I mean, there it is. You can’t mimic the guy who does this better than anybody else. Newsom is attempting to be the left’s version of Donald Trump. And Will Kane was right. It seems to be serving him fairly well in the polls. But I don’t know that it’s enough to get him over the finish line. You think he gets elected president because of mean tweets? I don’t think that works. Gavin Newsom is a disaster. California is a disaster. Everybody knows what a nightmare California is right now under his leadership. So I don’t know that it matters. You know what does matter, though? Making sure you’ve got enough cash in your pocket to live your life. I recommend my friends at Fellowship Home Loans every day. I’m working with Mike right now. SPEAKER 04 :
Somehow we made it to Friday. What a week it has been, huh? And boy, things are looking pretty good. Mark Davis, my buddy in Dallas, tweeted something that was so true. If you want proof that things are going well, Gallup says that 76% of Republicans believe that America is going in the right direction. Zero percent. It’s the lowest ever. Well, I would guess. You can’t go lower than zero. Zero percent of Democrats are satisfied with the way things are going in America. So there’s that. Speaking of X, I hope you follow me there at Gallagher Show. I’ll try to follow everybody back who follows me. I just reposted the new Vanity Fair cover of Melania Trump. It’s just that there is not a real Vanity Fair cover of Melania Trump. It’s fake. But everybody thinks it’s real. It’s got a beautiful picture of Melania. And the caption on the supposed cover of Vanity Fair says, America’s Queen. And so people are reposting it thinking it’s real. Well, I reposted it knowing that it’s fake. Reportedly, Melania laughed it off. She doesn’t want to be on the cover of Vanity Fair. The heck with them. They didn’t want her during the first term. She is probably the most beautiful First Lady the country’s ever seen. She should be on every magazine cover, but nobody will do that because they’re all a bunch of woke leftists. They want to put, you know, Michelle Obama on the cover or Jill Biden, but not Melania. So the best part about reposting the fake Vanity Fair cover is that it’s fake. So I urge you right now to follow me at Gallagher Show on X and repost it because it’s making the left crazy. They’re losing their minds. They’re all going crazy. Yesterday, there was a group of them protesting J.D. Vance’s appearance in Wisconsin. And they were all these white boomers, many of them obese, I might add. They ought to get a Ph.D. They’re on the street with protest signs. so they could yell mean things at J.D. Vance as his motorcade drove by. Well, the motorcade changed the route, and it went over the next block. Well, then they all had to run their fat rear ends across the grass to get to the other street to catch up to the motorcade so they could continue to yell mean things at J.D. Vance. It’s hysterical. Absolutely wild. If you’re watching right now on Salem News Channel, there they are all waiting. You hear the sirens in the background. Or not hear the sirens. There’s the sirens. And they don’t know what to do because it took the other road. Now they’re running across the grass. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. We want to yell at them. We want to yell at them. Man, they’re in a bad, bad place right now. What a time to be alive. Interesting story out of Eric Erickson out of Atlanta. I’m going to see him next week, and I’m looking forward. I’ve never met Eric. But, you know, he’s a veteran talk show host. Like every host, I agree or disagree with him sometimes, disagree with him. I don’t think he’s a big Trump supporter, but who cares? He’s got a lot of success in Atlanta, and he’s dealing with a very personal challenge. His wife is battling stage four lung cancer. And Eric posted today that his wife with cancer is one of the people the COVID vaccine actually helps. I guess he and his wife want her to get vaccinated against COVID again. And look, we can start a whole week’s worth of shows about COVID, about the vaccine. You know, people are convinced the vaccine doesn’t work. People are convinced the vaccine does work. And it gives me a headache. The whole thing. Talk to your doctor, you know. I’m not a doctor. I talk to my doctor. And for what it’s worth, my doctor doesn’t believe, I think, in me getting another vaccine. I think he’s over it altogether. My son and his wife had COVID this week. It’s like a bad cold. They’ve been sick in bed. Interestingly enough, about everybody around me has had COVID. You know who hasn’t had COVID? Moi. Me. I don’t want to brag here, but you know what I take? That they don’t? Ivermectin. Now, I don’t know. It’s anecdotal, perhaps. Maybe I just got lucky. Look, there is no reason, knowing that the people around me in my life, who I’ve had close contact with, who have COVID, it doesn’t really make sense that I didn’t get it. And you know me. I’m hairy hypochondriac. I’ve only taken about 100 tests to make sure I don’t have it. But I don’t. I’m fine. I feel like a million bucks. And the only difference between me And my family, the people I’ve been around, I take a weekly dose of ivermectin. I don’t know. I mean, so here’s the latest drama. CVS, America’s largest pharmacy chain, is not offering COVID vaccines in 16 states, including people who meet criteria from the FDA. And Eric Erickson’s point is, my wife would benefit from the COVID vaccine, he thinks. And that’s up to him. I’m not going to judge him or his wife. And I pray for Eric and his wife, as I pray for anybody who’s going through that battle that I know all too well. Okay? But Eric says, thanks to the current mess of at Health and Human Services, and we’ve talked about it this week, a whole bunch of CDC people have either been fired or have walked out. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not a blind, enthusiastic advocate of vaccines. We know that. I don’t think he’s a vaccine denier, or maybe you could call him vaccine skeptical. But the point is, There are people at the CDC now who have marched out because they don’t like the direction the CDC is going on. And Eric’s point, whose wife is battling cancer, is that thanks to the current mess at Health and Human Services, CVS is unable to give his wife the vaccine. Now, that led to, if you’re following him on X, you’ll see a whole lot of drama now, and people are being mean-spirited towards him, and they’re judging him, and a lot of people are claiming that the vaccine caused his wife’s cancer, which is really, really awful. I mean, don’t do that. You know, I always love how people come to these conclusions. While it seems peculiar that a lot of seemingly young, healthy people have experienced death and no one seems to understand why, some people have made that connection to the COVID, to the vaccine. Frankly, unless you’re a medical professional, you’re probably not equipped to come to that conclusion. And to say that you know that the vaccine is going to kill you, I’m always intrigued by people who say that with such confidence and certainty. How would you possibly know that? Look, I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m not saying the vaccine isn’t detrimental. Maybe it is. I don’t know. But again, the medical professionals know, scientists are supposed to know, but nobody trusts the scientists anymore. And then we don’t trust the scientists because of the way they handled the pandemic. So the whole thing is a complete, you know, right off the bat, and I just am so intrigued by the way people react. come apart at the seams over this topic. Here’s a text from Pennsylvania. Again, Mike, you are in COVID shot denial. What in the world does that mean? I’m in COVID shot denial. Can anybody, Eric, can you interpret that? What does that even mean? What have I said in the last few minutes that would make anybody think I’m in COVID shot denial? What have I denied? Pennsylvania, please follow up and explain what you mean. Or maybe somebody can call me. But every time this topic comes up, it turns into a total crap show. People who can guarantee that the vaccine is great. People who can promise you that the vaccine is going to kill you. And Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is simply saying, I want… I want sufficient studies. I want due diligence done. I don’t want to throw around helter-skelter a vaccine mandate. Well, you know, that to me is a pretty reasonable position. And have you seen some of the people running the CDC? No, thank you. I’m glad they left. So the whole thing is a little bit of a mess. Feel free to join us. Tell me what you think. And again, to Pennsylvania, and again, just follow it up with another text. This is great. Quit drinking the Kool-Aid, Mike. What Kool-Aid am I drinking? What have I said? I pull my hair out because of people like this texter from Pennsylvania who turn into, and I’m sorry, I say this respectfully in love, a raging lunatic when I haven’t said anything. I mean, here I am telling you about my ivermectin and how I think that’s working, but I think it is. I don’t know. I’m a big mouth talk show host. I’m not a doctor or a scientist. So what do you want me to… Here’s one, Mike. It killed Hank Aaron. It did? Really? Again, people say that with such certainty, and it’s kind of fascinating to me. So let’s go ahead. Let’s go down the rabbit hole for a few minutes here in the Relief Factor Studios. 800-655-MIKE. North Carolina, have you lost your mind after what we went through? Have I lost? Okay, will somebody please call me and tell me what you think I’ve said that’s unreasonable? Because this one, here we go again. One of these days I’ll learn my lesson, I guess. Tell me how I’ve lost my mind. Wow. 800-655-MIKE.

Mike Gallagher. Every day, Mike visits with Mark Davis. Morning host on 660 AM, The Answer in Dallas. Here’s today’s Eminem experience.
SPEAKER 04 :
Look at Tim Waltz. The other day, he was calling Trump that thing in the Oval Office. And then a couple days later, after the Minneapolis shooting, he was thanking Trump for his phone call expressing concern. Being a normal person. He’s not a normal person.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, no, but that was a normal person thing to do. Oh, for Trump to call Waltz was a normal thing. Yeah. And for Walsh to say thank you for calling. That was a normal basic decency. Yeah, calling him Hitler isn’t a normal thing.
SPEAKER 04 :
Calling him that thing in the White House. Exactly. Wow, what a weird time. There’s another story that is just getting a little bit of the CDC thing. You and I haven’t talked about this. No, let’s do it. All hell breaking loose at Health and Human Services under the guidance of Bobby Kennedy Jr. And, of course, it’s got all the checkboxes, vaccine skepticism. Here we go. Well, it’s just been reported, the New York Times, now take it for what it’s worth, but the New York Times is reporting that CVS, the country’s largest pharmacy chain… is not offering COVID vaccines in 16 states, including Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania, even to people who meet newly restricted criteria from the FDA due to what CVS calls the current regulatory environment.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s the reason. It’s a choice for them? I heard some stories say that they can’t. There’s something they can’t do if it’s not on a list of approved or recommended things from government.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right, but they’re almost acting like, well, it’s the environmental regulatory confusion. Eric Erickson is the talk show host out of Atlanta, and he has chronicled his wife’s battle with cancer. And Eric tweeted this morning on X, my wife has stage four lung cancer. She is one of the people the COVID vaccine actually helps. Thanks to the current mess at HHS, CVS is unable to get her the vaccine.
SPEAKER 03 :
Could Walgreens? I mean, you’re sitting there giving me CVS stories. Can you pay out of pocket for it? Well, Eric can. Aren’t there 27 pharmacies down the road? So I think this is just a phony story, as is the whole CDC angst, because what’s their main complaint? What’s everybody saying? Every mainstream lib news network says we went and found a professor of pharmacology at Berkeley. And here’s his quote. RFK Jr. is the devil. This is terrible. It’s anti-science. What do they always say? It’s politics horning in on science. Guys, didn’t politics horn in on science when you got COVID wrong? Didn’t politics horn in on science? Doesn’t politics hone in on science every time anybody talks about climate? Do not lecture me about politics horning in on science.
SPEAKER 04 :
preach preach it preach it brother mark you know i i’ve got an anecdotal story about people ask me about ivermectin because i take it every week and i have for for years my texas bill texas passed a bill on ivermectin letting you get it over the counter in texas just the other day and see i gotta go to the pharmacy to get it and of course you’ll remember the very famous pharmaceutical call seattle yes tell everybody that story you call and they left you a message My doctor accidentally phoned in a prescription for ivermectin to a Seattle pharmacy. By mistake. I had been traveling, and it was a holdover. She calls me, this smarmy pharmaceutical doctor. Oh, you’re not going to get. We’ll play it for you. Let me play it. Let me play this for Mark. Eric, pop it up. This is in the archives. This is an actual voicemail left. For me, from a smarmy, condescending, pompous, woke pharmacist in the wokest of all cities, Seattle, Washington, proudly telling me she will refuse to fill my ivermectin prescription.
SPEAKER 02 :
Hi, this is *** calling from ***. This message is for Michael. Just letting you know that we received a prescription from your doctor, but unfortunately I am unable to fill this prescription. If you have any questions, our phone number is ***. But just letting you know, there aren’t going to be, there are very few pharmacies that are going to be willing to fill this prescription. So just a heads up. Again, if you have any questions.
SPEAKER 04 :
Just a heads up. So I called her back. And I said, lady, I said, why are you politicizing this? She says, I am not. She was just gleeful. Oh, she was. She was so smug.
SPEAKER 03 :
You’re not going to be able to do this. Right.
SPEAKER 04 :
And by the way, I told her it took me about 30 seconds when my doctor got his act together and called the right pharmacy here in the free state of Florida. Unlike that cesspool of Seattle, I got my ivermectin in about 30 seconds, dummy. I said, who are you to tell me? She says, I’m the pharmacist. She says, why do you need our ivermectin? I said, it’s none of your business. What do you care? This is my doctor. My doctor called this in. Can I tell you a quick personal story? Of course. Let me pull the curtain back and get very personal for a moment. Everybody around me has had COVID this week. Everybody around me. COVID is kind of making a return. Just get ready. People are getting COVID. I was talking to one of our network executives this morning. His daughter went to a trip somewhere, and she came back with COVID. And she’s in bed with the flu. She doesn’t feel good. She’s healthy. We’re treating it like we always should have, like a bad cold. That’s right, like a bad cold. My son and his wife have a bad cold. They got COVID. Everybody around me, you know who didn’t get COVID? This guy. This guy. I don’t have COVID, even though people around me have had COVID. Now, by rights, I should have it. You know the only thing that’s different? I take ivermectin and they don’t.
SPEAKER 03 :
As a preventive? You pop in this stuff like M&M’s to keep it away? I take it every week. I don’t know. You tell me.
SPEAKER 04 :
I mean, all I know is I take ivermectin. They didn’t. They got COVID. I don’t have it. Do tell. And I’m telling you, I should have it. I should absolutely have COVID. You should totally have it.
SPEAKER 03 :
Now, that doesn’t mean I’m not testing every 45 minutes. Exactly.
SPEAKER 04 :
I mean, I’ve got my nose is about to fall out.
SPEAKER 03 :
Keeping Binax in business.
SPEAKER 04 :
I got a stack of Binax COVID tests that’s 10 feet high.
SPEAKER 03 :
Do you remember when we were having the toughest time finding, this seems like a bad movie we were all a part of five years ago. Do you remember when we had, I don’t know, we had a tough time and you had like the secret storehouse of tests and you shipped to Lisa and me about eight or nine Binax tests. I’ve never, I was so grateful because, you know, we all want to know if we had it or whatever, but.
SPEAKER 04 :
And you do realize that by you admitting this, you and I are now going to be castigated and mocked by so many people in our audience who are saying, you two big babies.
SPEAKER 03 :
Testing’s not bad. I’d like to know if I have it. Well, first of all, if I’ve got to scream in case of COVID, I can’t come to work in 20 minutes.
SPEAKER 04 :
Now, wait a minute, though. But wait a minute. This is fascinating. Now, I want to analyze what you just said. Because I think the same way you do, because I think we’re kind of normal. I’d kind of like to know if I have it. Do you know? I know. I guarantee you, you open up your phone lines. There are tons of people who do not want to know. They refuse to test.
SPEAKER 03 :
Now, wasn’t that because they knew what would happen if they did, that they would be treated as if they were lepers, treated as if they were going to die? Well, whatever their reason is, I want to know because I don’t want to give it to Tracy.
SPEAKER 04 :
I don’t want to give it to people I work with. But I’m telling you, people not testing, that’s become a badge of honor.
SPEAKER 03 :
That was a thing. It still is. It still is. You ask your audience. I guarantee you, look at the text line. It might be a thing with me. Do you want to test? Okay, if I had, what are your basic COVID, cough, fever, if that happens to me tomorrow, do I run, go get a COVID test? No, I don’t. You’re not going to, oh good, you want to give it to Rhonda? No, I’d stay away from people. I figure I got something. If I’ve got a cold or if I’ve got the flu, I’d stay away from people anyway. it would not be my first thing to go test myself for COVID. I would figure I have the 20 times more likely thing of flu or a cold. Yeah, that’s probably a rational, level-headed thing.
SPEAKER 04 :
Remember, I’m crazy. I’m a hypochondriac, so I always think I’m dying. Look, when I found out that friends of mine got COVID, I reserved a ventilator. I had one ready on hold. I said my name on it.
