This is true. That is tyranny. And so, yes. Remember, if something is a good idea, you should not have to force people to do it. On the show, we focus on the issues. We really are trying to focus on these issues uh and um stay out of the uh all i can say is eighth grade girl fighting and i didn’t have much fun in eighth grade producer joe so i don’t want to go back there

Yeah, I know. And I know. So be sure and check it out. Our word of the day is illusion. It’s A-L-L-U-S-I-O-N. It could be an implied or indirect reference, especially in literature, or it could be an illusion statement. I’m wondering on this whole drone thing, if there is some kind of an illusion there where we’re not really seeing what is true. And so your challenge is to use the word illusion in a sentence today. Our quote of the day is from Mark Twain. He was born Samuel, this was his given name, Samuel Longhorn Clemens. He was born in 1835. He died in 1910. He was known by the pen name Mark Twain. He was an American writer, humorist, and essayist. He was praised as the greatest humorist the United States has produced, with William Faulkner calling him the father of American literature. His novels include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer that was written in 1876, its sequel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, 1884, and with the latter often called The Great American Novel. And I read those books. Did you ever read those books, Producer Joe?
SPEAKER 10 :
There are a couple of my favorite books. I loved both of them growing up.
SPEAKER 02 :
Okay, I did too. Okay, good, good. And 26 years old, my friends, that gives us great hope as we look into our future. And he said this, he said, keep away from people who try to belittle your ambition. And you want, my dad always said, you know, hang out with people that, you know, are positive and wanting to get things done and creative. And if you’re not one of those persons, become one of those persons. So this day in history, in 1777, this was a big deal for America. France recognizes the independence of the British colonies in America. In 1788, the Russian, again, Ukraine, it always seems like it’s in the news. 1788, Russian army of Grigory Potemkin assaults and captures the fortress of Okhorov in modern-day Ukraine after a five-month-long siege in one of the major events of the Russo-Turkish War. And I found this interesting. Remember, Joe, how I say that big government and big business like each other? Well, I thought this was a kind of an excellent example. In 1832, real estate developer Samuel Ruggles deeds Grammar Street Park to a board of trustees to hold as parkland. Then he is granted tax exempt status by New York City. for the park and then develops the surrounding lots, ensuring private access only to those properties. I thought that was a little interesting, Joe. He gives the land that’s tax exempt, but then it creates value for all the property around that, and then he develops that property. And so I think where I struggle with that is the tax-exempt status and the park thing on that. What do you think?
SPEAKER 10 :
I agree. I think if you’re going to be tax-exempt, you shouldn’t be able to gain a profit on that as well. That’s not right, and I think that’s a huge overreach of government.
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, and we see nonprofits all the time, such as the Center for Tech and Civic Life, which is, quote, unquote, a nonprofit. So when Mark Zuckerberg gave them over $400 million in the 2020 election, he got a tax write-off, and then they went in and helped, I’ll put that in air quotes, helped some of these key battleground states with their elections. So I really think that we need to get rid of the income tax. I think that we need to then get rid of this whole writing things off for nonprofit, lower taxes across the board, and then I think that we would have less of this government cronyism, which I think that’s what that was. So, again, that was back in 1832. This, I thought, was amazing. 1845, German explorer Ludwig Leinhardt arrives in Port Essington after a nearly 3,000-mile overland journey to explore Australia’s northern territory. 3,000 miles, Joe? Can you imagine what that, I cannot imagine what he went through.
SPEAKER 10 :
And we don’t think about it now because we can get in our cars and go really fast down a highway that’s kind of efficiently towards our destination, and it takes no time at all. Those were long journeys back in that time.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, and lots of danger, lots going on. 1903, the Wright brothers make the first sustained motorized aircraft flight at 10.35 a.m., piloted by Orville Wright. at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. So 1903, so that was, what, 121 years ago, and now regular people can get in an airplane and fly all over the world. It’s amazing. This one, 1919, the Austrian parliament approves an eight-hour working day. And I’ve been thinking a lot about this reduction of to an eight-hour working day. I know that the – because I come from farmers and ranchers where – You know, we work a lot. And, of course, on our show, we put a lot of hours in the day, a lot more than eight hours a day. And so I’m wondering, and again, 1919, that was Woodrow Wilson. That was the progressive era era. And so as you’re reducing the workday, you’re reducing productivity. And then there was kind of the force of only you can only work eight hours a day. I just thought that was interesting, 1919, that that’s when that happened in Austria.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, and I think there should be no restriction on how much you can work because sometimes people don’t have anything better to do. Say they’re just sitting at their home playing video games. Why not increase your efficiency and do some work while you have the time?
SPEAKER 02 :
You think? That is the other thing is, is an eight-hour workday, then there’s more work. Idle time. And if my dad always said, if, you know, if you don’t fill your time with positive things, you know, you can get into trouble. And so more idle time. What did they say? Idle time is the devil’s workshop or something like that. But anyway, I just thought that the progressive era, 1919. OK, let’s go on to the next one. This is in World War Two, 1941. The German troops led by Erwin Rommel begin retreating in North Africa. 1944, the U.S. Army announces the end of excluding Japanese Americans from West Coast. Detainees are released. And that was a real stain on our history of rounding up U.S. citizens of Japanese descent and putting them into camps. I think about this storm. And when I’ve talked to these World War II veterans… In the Pacific, some of them had gotten caught in typhoons. And just the description of what happened. So in 1944, U.S. destroyers sink in a storm off the Philippines. 790 were killed. 1947, a weather event. Again, I like to bring these up because weather is weather. The climate is always changing. But in 1947, New York was struck by a blizzard resulting in 27 inches of snow. In 1999, the United Nations General Assembly passes a resolution designating November 25th as the annual International Day to Eliminate Violence Against Women. Now, Joe, I was thinking about that. Here you fast forward to 2024, where we have this whole transgender movement, where you have adults that are encouraging young people, and we’ll talk about women right now, to actually surgically and pharmaceutically, well, surgically cut off their breasts. Would you not think that in the old days, cutting off a woman’s breast would be violent do you see where i’m going with that does that make sense it kind of makes me think of the indians and like scalping kind of that same idea yeah yeah so here they were going to eliminate violence against women and then in 2024 we have those that are advocating um violence against women okay just two more uh in 2020 king karl the 16th gustav says Swedish authorities have failed in their response to COVID-19, criticizing the country’s controversial anti-lockdown strategy. Again, these globalist elites. And then in 2020, This is a never-give-up story. The Minnesota Vikings recover from 33-0 down at halftime to beat the Indianapolis Colts 39-36 in overtime. It’s the biggest comeback in NFL history. And so take that, my friends. We never, never give up. And we get to do this because of our sponsors. And this is from Ross story. It says after sifting through the reports over the past few weeks of drones over New Jersey National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Monday the truth is not out there. Foreign policy reporter Laura Rosen quoted Kirby in a briefing Monday saying that the increased use of drones isn’t an invasion. Okay, I’d like them to tell us how he knows that. He says, after closely looking at the tips and collating them as best we can from concerned citizens, we assess that the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones… and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing drones, helicopters, and even stars that were mistakenly reported as drones. We have not identified anything anomalous or national security or public safety risk over the civilian airspace in New Jersey or other states in the Northeast. Okay. It says later in the briefing, he also asked reporters to stress that there are over a million legal drones in the United States and thousands of them are flying around at any given time legally and lawfully. It says Fox News has helped amp up fears about the devices with one host calling it a Pearl Harbor moment. President-elect Donald Trump has indicated he’s open to allowing Americans to shoot them down. I think that that is an interesting thing because if, in fact, you’ve got a drone over your property, shouldn’t you be able maybe to protect your property? That’s a good question. But this goes on to say it is illegal to shoot at drones, but Representative James Comer, Republican Kentucky, also said Monday his constituents will use their Second Amendment capabilities and shoot down the machines, which could result in planes being mistakenly fired upon. Hmm, I don’t know. It seems like most people can tell the difference between a plane and a drone. It says the Electronic Frontier Foundation reported in June that drones are being used as first responder programs across the United States and departments are begging for more. It says with their bird’s eye view, drones can observe individuals in previously private and constitutionally protected spaces like their backyards, roofs, and even through home windows, the EFF said. and they can capture crowds of people. This is really concerning. Like protesters and other peaceful gatherers exercising their First Amendment rights. It says drones can be equipped with cameras, thermal imaging, microphones, license plate readers, face recognition, mapping technology, cell site simulators, weapons, and other payloads. Proliferation of these devices enable state surveillance even for routine operations. and response to innocuous calls, situations unrelated to the original concerns of terrorism or violent crime originally used to justify their adoption. So stay tuned. I really find this… an obfuscation of what’s going on. And I think the American people have gotten to a point where we just really don’t trust what this government has to say to us. And so we need to get back to trust is pretty, pretty important. We’ll talk about this with Lauren Fix here in the next hour, or excuse me, the next two segments. Fox News reported that the Biden administration is expected to offer California waiver to ban gas-powered cars by 2035. And they said that he is doing this as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to undo a host of green energy policies next year. California set an emission standard to ban new gas cars in the state by 2035, but such a regulation requires a waiver from the EPA to proceed. So just weeks before Biden’s term ends, the EPA is reportedly planning to grant that waiver to allow the state to set stricter emission standards for electric vehicles than allowed by the federal government. So we’ll ask Lauren Fix about that in the next couple of segments. Then this is from the Daily Wire. Trump says that Biden’s border wall sale is almost a criminal act. I do agree. And he will seek a restraining order. And it says that Trump made the statement after a Daily Wire investigation revealed that the Biden administration was selling off portions of the border wall in public auctions with the goal of unloading the border wall before Trump takes office in January. One Republican senator found that the administration was recouping just 0.2% of the original cost of the wall material to taxpayers. This this is unconscionable. This disrespect of everyday people, the American taxpayers across the board by the Biden Harris agenda administration is really mind boggling. Goes on to say the administration is trying to sell it for five cents on the dollar, knowing that we’re getting ready to put it up. Trump said in a press conference, what they’re doing is almost a criminal act. They know that we’re going to use it. And if we don’t have it, we’re going to have to rebuild it. And it will cost double what it cost years ago. And that’s hundreds of millions of dollars. Trump said, I spoke with the attorney general of Texas. I spoke with the senators of Texas. I spoke to a lot of people and hopefully they’ll be able to stop it. going to be having a restraining order i’m asking joe biden today to please stop selling the wall and then in this uh this is again is this is from the daily caller it says that that this is by uh let’s see who’s the writer on this uh mary rook and she said that biden fell for legal traps set by trump appointees okay let’s take a look at that It says that President Joe Biden fought a lawsuit brought by two former government officials appointed during the first Trump administration, contesting the legality of their unceremonious firings. Biden won, paving the way for President-elect Donald Trump to wield executive power that the Democrats will end up wishing he didn’t have. Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and former Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vogt sought to block their removal from the U.S. Naval Academy’s Board of Visitors in 2021 after Biden took office. It says the U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich ruled that the lawsuit should be dismissed, citing the U.S. code stating that executive officials are not insulated from presidential removal. So it says, well, it’s possible that Spicer and Vogt enjoyed their term on the U.S. Naval Academy’s Board of Visitors. Spicer said the lawsuit against Biden did have an alternative motive. He said he wanted to make it easy for Trump should he become president again to have the authority to remove Biden’s presidential appointees, even ones who still had time left on their term. And so this is super interesting as well. I think you need to look at long-term consequences when people are doing all of these different things. Well, thanks for having me back. Lots going on in the auto industry. You know, it’s funny, like you, I’m always looking for the next story, you know, what’s going on. This is crazy. This is like crazy time for me. I’m doing like three to five news reports a week. I’m like, it’s out of control. And that’s usually not the case when it comes to automotive. This is good. We’re making some headway, and I think people will be happy as long as we can make it happen.
SPEAKER 02 :
Okay, well, let’s start with everything that’s happening. I guess initially I was going to ask you about this whole thing on tax credits in California. Newsom wants to give tax credit. I guess they had gotten rid of the tax credits in California for EVs. He wants to bring them back because Elon Musk is saying through Doge that they might get rid of those from a federal standpoint. So Newsom wants to bring them back, but he wants to pick winners and losers, right?
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, yes. Actually, there’s a whole interesting story that happened last night over this. So initially— Well, this sort of goes into today’s story, so let me just put a bow on it for everyone. So President Trump wants to annihilate the EV mandates, and Elon Musk agrees with that. And that is today’s story that I’ll be posting in, oh, probably a couple hours on my Car Coach Report site. But here’s the preview of it. The bottom line is, as we know, President Trump said he was going to remove the mandate so you could buy whatever car you want. Of course, that’ll be interesting for the state of Colorado. It’s also going to be interesting for the state of California. And the reason Elon Musk is like, absolutely get rid of it is it takes away his competition. There’s no competition there. If they live off these mandates and these $7,500 tax credits and they take a loss on every vehicle, if they don’t have to make them, the manufacturers won’t. They’ll go back to building hybrids. They’ll offer plug-in hybrids. They’ll offer a few electric vehicles for those that are doing well. But many brands are suffering to the point that they’re not making any money. Perfect examples like Honda. They don’t make an electric car. They get a platform from General Motors, which is their Blazer EV, and they put their hat on it, essentially. They make it a Honda. They call it a Prologue. I went by the dealer yesterday. Yesterday, zero down 297 a month. That’s pretty desperate for a car that’s brand new. The Acura version is the ZDX. But what’s interesting, if you get in it, you’re like, this feels like a General Motors product because it is. And they’re taking a loss, but they have to comply, because if not, they will get fined. So this is their way of making it work, but they’re still taking a loss. And the interesting thing with the whole factor is that if President Trump takes away that mandate, that vehicle goes away. That doesn’t mean you can’t get it serviced. And that doesn’t mean you aren’t going to find good deals in the lot. If you want an electric credit, there will be tons of great deals. But no more $7,500 tax credit, no $4,000 credit on used EVs, and basically… I liken this whole nightmare of mandates and cash for clunkers. Remember that? I do remember that. Or give us your old car, and we’ll give you money to buy a new car as an incentive. And who ended up using that? Certainly not people that couldn’t afford a new car, because if you could afford a new car, you would have bought a new car. Right. And what’s the average age of a car on the road today? 15 years old. And the reason is, cars are expensive people have to make choices do i put food on the table with the cost of everything getting expensive like you talk about every day or do i go buy a new car you’re gonna put food on the table you’re gonna pay your bills the car is transportation for many people not for me personally but for many people it is so kind of puts people in in a difficult position and So this is interesting. So who did it help? Much like the tax credit, it helps people that have money. So if you’re at the country club and you think, I think I’ll get the newest Hummer EV so I can be the coolest person here, you know, the first person to get one, that’s fine. But for the rest of the normal people in this world, we can’t afford that. And it became very difficult. So here’s the interesting thing. So the mandate we know is going to go away. President Trump said he was going to do it. I forgot the guy’s name. I was in charge of the EPA. Scott, I forgot his last name. But also Lee Zeldin, who’s going to handle the Department of Transportation and National Highway Traffic Safety, said it’s going away. Great. So Gavin Newsom, and there’s an interesting little twist in this that happened last night, Gavin Newsom said, well, we’re going to offer EV mandates for all the brands except Tesla, which I found hysterical.

Both. He’s going to mandate leave the mandate in place for the state of California. And I’ll talk about that in just a second, because I posted something on Sunday that’s been on fire. And it’s probably good for people to know what the Supreme Court is up to as well. But the bottom line is, he says, I want everyone to get a tax credit. But Tesla, because we don’t like them, they’re part of Trump’s administration. So we don’t want to help them. And that’s such a stupid move to pick. It’s like saying you can only eat at McDonald’s. You can’t eat at Burger King. I mean, come on. What if I won in and out? Oh, you don’t get an incentive. I mean, come on. So when you start looking at trying to choose winners and losers by using politics, it makes people very angry. So I posted a story. It went up on Newsmax on the subject of Gavin Newsom and his foolish little plan. And it also went on to The Blaze. which is Glenn Beck’s site. And we got an email last night from Gavin Newsom’s team saying, well, we didn’t say we were going to do it. We may exclude Tesla. So we changed the wording in the article. It’s already out there, you know, how they play the games. So we did the same thing. We posted it and we know what the truth is, that he’s going to try and hurt Tesla for that. But here’s the bottom line. If you want an electric car, there are plenty of choices. There are some brands that are selling a lot of cars. You will never get hurt with a Prius if you want a hybrid, whether it’s a plug-in or otherwise. Hyundai is offering a mixture of vehicles and doing very well with all, you know, whether you want gas, hybrid. plug in or electric. All those are available. They’re going to continue to offer what people want. General Motors said we’re going to coexist. We’re going to offer electric. We’re going to offer gas. If people want gas, we’re selling it. Smart. No hybrids from General Motors, though. Interesting. Ford is like, well, we’re going to make what people want. We’re not getting rid of anything. OK, they got the message that I’ve been saying for 20 years. And let me tell you, just so you know i’ve taken a ton of heat from brands from executives from marketing people from other journalists from media outlets saying how can you say that no one wants electric cars because i can read the tea leaves this is common sense this is common sense come on if i could afford it i would buy it i can’t afford it so i don’t i mean This is how clueless the government is. And this is what President Trump wants to do. He wants to get more common sense in there. And I’m hoping somebody out there listening can help me get in part of an advisory board for the transportation and the EPA because they need some guidance from people on the ground who know the industry. And I have a team of people that I work with. who know about data, the industry, not just the OE side, but the consumer side. And all of that needs to be blowing in somebody’s ear to let them know we are not political, we are independent, and we’re here to help get customers what they want at good prices.

From your lips to God’s ears, I tell you what, Lauren Fix. And I did try to reach out and get your name in front of some folks. And let’s just keep our fingers crossed that that’s going to happen because you have so much common sense. As I was looking through your website and things, The different subjects there, and we’ve talked about this, I’m concerned that so many of the car manufacturers are really in a very difficult financial situation because of all these stupid policies. Absolutely. And if they go out of business, this opens up the opportunity for China, I think, to step in in car manufacturing. We’ve talked about that. Please address that.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, that is very interesting. And I put out a bunch of different stories and I broke it down. a couple of things. I broke down the four brands that I know are in hot water and they’re in big trouble. There’s other brands as well. And then we just filmed a podcast on Sunday with my son, Paul. He’s not a child. He’s in his 30s. And he knows the industry as well and has worked in the industry. And that’ll be posting up this weekend. It’s a long form. It’s a little over an hour and it’s much more of a deeper dive. So if you’re really interested, you own a dealership, you kind of want to get some insight on or you’re just curious because maybe you’re investing or whatever, it’s good to know what’s going on. So let’s start off with The low-hanging fruit. The brand that’s in the worst position right now is Jaguar. They came up with an extremely strange press event where they had an androgynous people dancing, but no car. Even Elon Musk is like, where’s the car? Now, as someone who’s owned Jaguars and I currently race a Jaguar, it is very upsetting to me to see that they took a brand that was known for racing, known for performance, known to be the big V8 roaring brand, cat essentially because it’s a jaguar and made it androgynous so when they showed up I waited before I commented I said okay let me just see what’s going on let me look at the The vehicle. So they showed us a concept car at Art Basel, which is a Miami event. And when you look at the vehicle, you shake your head and go, this is fine. If it’s a matchbox car, this is fine. It’s a toy. But the reality of it, it was basically a Chrysler 300 that married a, you know, a Maybe a Crossfire, which is an older vehicle from Chrysler, which was a bomb when Mercedes-Benz owned a piece of Chrysler. And basically they glued two air conditioning units, one at the front and one at the back. It’s very blunt. It is not appealing. It is what we would call in my industry a brick in the wind. In other words, very difficult to get aerodynamics out of it. And it’s a great design study. But when people started asking, hey, what about your current customers, the people that love these cars? Because I like the Jaguar F-Pace. I like the E-Pace. I had a great time with the F-Type. And they said, well, we don’t want our old customers. We want new customers. Could you imagine that? Oh, my gosh. Oh, so you own a coffee shop. We’re going to sell donuts. We don’t want our old coffee customers. We only want new customers. Wow. Bad marketing move, new marketing moron, I will call him. You know he doesn’t come from the auto industry, because he doesn’t know the industry. Saying that we want all these androgynous people. The fact is, in the whole entire United States, or the world, there’s a very small percentage of those people based on everybody else. And those people are expected to spend $250,000 on a new car. So they’re going to price themselves out of the market, and they think they’re going to compete with Rolls-Royce. And I’m like, never going to happen. I’m going to tell you right now. Let me read my crystal ball. I’m pretty accurate. Not going to happen. So I really worry because there are a lot of dealers that have invested in millions of dollars to build their beautiful dealerships and put beautiful cars together. The problem is they want to reduce their dealer base. By 80%. Why on earth? Because you own a Jaguar dealership. Why? Because the guy’s not a genius. I don’t know. This has happened before. We’ve seen stupidity happen before. They hired this girl to run Cadillac. She did the same thing. Cars are like phones. People just get rid of them every year or two. No. A phone is $1,000 at max. A car at $200,000 is a whole other animal. And this is the cluelessness of them hiring people from outside the industry who don’t know cars, don’t like cars, don’t care. They think that they’re pieces of fashion or art. They’re not. And if you expect to live off of that, you will not.

though ah so originally uh when ford sold off jaguar and land rover they sold it to a company called tata tata is an indian car company known for doing budget-friendly cars but root on tata who is known who just passed away recently has got to be spinning in his grave super smart guy he’s in the automotive hall of fame he he makes cars for markets and he he reads the market and knew it whoever is running their board of directors wants him to go out of business Because the sad part is they also own Land Rover, which is doing fabulously. New product, the Thunder’s selling like crazy, the Range Rover Sport. Not all their product, they’re figuring it out, but they’re actually making money. So where one of their big brands is making money on a global basis. The other one, I’m really concerned. And we’ll see how long this lasts. I mean, I sat in a Land Rover event in November and talked to one of the executives, just playing neutral, just kind of listening. And they think they’ve got a winner here. And I’m just shaking my head. There is no way. And now they know my opinion because my story is out there. But they’re in trouble. So if you’re thinking about a good deal on a car, I bet you there’s some great deals on Jaguar F-Pace, E-Pace. There’s over a year of inventory sitting at Jaguar dealerships. So if you need a vehicle and you’re looking for a deal, check out the F-Pace for a sports car. Or the F-Pace is the SUV, the small SUV is the E-Pace. And they’ve got a bunch of the sports cars, which is the F-Type. So I would say it’s a pretty good deal.

No, I don’t know. There’ll be parts available. You can get service. That’s not the problem. And it does include Jaguar service, which is good for two years of service, which is really nice, saves you some bucks. Okay. So next brand is Nika.

God’s ears. Yeah, exactly. Fabulous. I’m in. I’ve got people to get to them. I just haven’t made it happen. But it’s always good to have push from every direction. More people reaching out will help make that happen.

And that would be really good common sense for our freedom of mobility. So the next of the four car manufacturers that’s in trouble, who is that?
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s Nissan. They’re struggling. They’re making vehicles that people just don’t want to buy. They have some issues with their transmissions. I think the big reason that they’ve got some negative on them is It partly was way back. They changed their name from Datsun to Nissan, which I thought was confusing because I owned a Datsun back in the day. But Nissan has changed their brand, and they’ve struggled a little bit, partly their transmissions and partly the fact when Carlos Ghosn, which you and I talked about, the CEO, got arrested because they didn’t like the fact that potentially a French company could own part of their cultural Japanese company. That does not fly. And they got hurt, but the big part of the hurt is when they arrested him and all that negative press, which is never good. The interesting part was the second in command was a guy named Jose Munez. Now, you may not know that name, but I actually know him. And he was second in command. And he, of course, escaped Japan before they arrested him. And there was no reason to arrest him. It was all a push to get rid of anything that wasn’t Japanese as part of their culture. They thought that they were fearing that the French, which is Raynaud, who does own some of their stock, who is now divested, was thinking about putting money into the company and more money. And they were struggling. And it was just a matter of time. And they said, we need to get rid of the French. So this is obviously a cultural thing. So where is Jose Munez now? Why did I mention him? He’s now the president of Hyundai Corporation. And I don’t mean just North America, because you’ve seen what he’s done with the Hyundai Kia Genesis line. Now he’s president of Global Hyundai Corporation. So he is at the top. A very interesting position, because what you’re seeing now is Hyundai Genesis line. and Kia, but they also own Boston Dynamics and a bunch of other companies, including their shipping company, their manufacturing. He’s in charge of all of that. So they made him very powerful. He made himself powerful. He’s a very smart man, not a car guy, but understands marketing. Few people have done that, like Alan Mulally did that at Ford. But when you have a genius like that, you do not let them go. Yes. And Hyundai is succeeding because of it. You’re seeing great product, 10-100,000-mile warranties. You’re getting maintenance included. You’re getting new product. And they’re very smart the way they’re doing things. Everything to them is like Legos. Oh, you want electric? We can build that car in electric. You want it hybrid? You want a plug-in hybrid? You want a gas? We can do all of that. And it’s just a matter of changing what they call the hat, essentially. So the undercarriage can be changed to whatever customers want and they move quickly. I’ve been to the factory, super impressive. And that’s what you’re seeing a successful company do. And in the meantime, Nissan struggles and the dealers are struggling and it got worse. I’ve got another story coming out. The first one was just Nissan struggling. But now just after that report came out, Infinity, which is their luxury line, said, hey, listen, let’s fold all of the luxury dealerships that stand alone into the Nissan store to save money. That’s a mayday. That’s like throwing the white flag when you you’re not selling anything. nearly as many as you need. Some stores are only selling like 240 cars a month. You can’t live on that. That’s not going to keep you alive. And you’re looking at the full big picture for Infiniti, which makes really cool products. The QX80 does not compete with the rest of what’s out there. So right now we’re seeing Infiniti shutting down their U.S. dealerships. And that is a big concern. It might be a spiral to the end for the whole brand. I hope not. I hope not. They are looking for investors because Raynaud, the French company, said, fine, we’re out. So they lost a big investor. Now they’re looking for an insurance company. They’re speaking to Honda. I don’t know what Honda would gain from that, maybe other than maybe their truck division, because Honda doesn’t really sell trucks other than the Ridgeline. So that’s kind of interesting. But I’ll move on to some of the other brands. You can go deep in the weeds on this. And if you want to, our podcast will be posting on Sunday. You can go really deep into all this, especially if you work in the industry or you’re interested. Really interesting. So there’s good deals at Nissan also. So whoever’s struggling, there are deals. Volkswagen is another one. In Europe, they’re shutting down three plants. They’re telling all their workers through their union that they want them to cut their pay by 10 percent. Not to executives. Just the union workers. And I can promise you there will be pushback on that. Very interesting. And so how does that affect us? Well, here, Chattanooga, Tennessee, they are building Volkswagens. The new Taos is being built in Mexico. They’re building cars here. They’re still struggling a little bit, although their best-selling vehicle is the Atlas, which is the biggest Volkswagen they ever sold. And I’ve driven the new Taos. I’ll be posting a review on that on my CarSmarts channel. So all the car reviews went to CarSmarts.com. And what’s interesting is, The struggle is not because they’re building bad product. It’s because Germany let the Chinese come in and sell their cars. And this is what you’re getting a preview of what happens to the U.S. if we allow Chinese cars to sell here in a marketplace. And the reason that they’re hurting so badly is when China comes into a market, they steal the market by lowballing the price. I mean bad. Like, here’s a $60,000 car. We’re going to sell it at $40,000. So the consumer says… Great. Why would I want to spend 60 when I can buy 40? Done, right? Well, what happens is the U.S.-built, or in this case, the German-built cars are struggling, and that includes all of the brands. And the result is China subsidizes all of the cars that are sold. And they can’t do this forever because it can’t last forever, and it is hurting them financially. So every car that’s sold, and it depends on the vehicle, they’ll subsidize the difference in order to steal the market. and they’ve destroyed the German car market, and they’re shutting down three plants, and they’re telling at least 100,000 people they’re going to lose their jobs, and the ones that are staying, you’ve got to cut your pay by 10%. That’s not going to work. And that’s why President Trump saw what was going on, or his people saw what was going on, and this is part of what I want to offer information. You can’t let China in here unless it’s not subsidized by the government, because we are not going to subsidize Ford, GM, and Tesla and everybody else. Because if we do, then the government owns the car companies, and we know how well they run the post office.

And that’s why the tariffs may make sense when you have the competitor has a government that is undercutting and subsidizing the product so that they can come in and… basically put that industry, steel industry, car industry, out of business. Then that $40,000 car, or that $60,000 car that was sold for $40,000, then might be $70,000. So we’ve got about a minute left. What’s the last one, Lauren Fixx?
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, there’s a lot. I’m not going to go into it deeply. I think if you really want to know more, the podcast will be coming out. It’s an hour. It’s worth listening to. It’ll come out on Sunday. But in the meantime, lots of good stuff. Supreme Court is going to take up the mandate. This is fantastic news. The Supreme Court said they’re going to take the electric car mandate up as soon as they get back into session. That’ll be under President Trump. IF THEY TAKE AWAY THE CALIFORNIA MANDATE, WHICH IS CALLED THE CALIFORNIA WAIVER, THE MANDATE’S GONE. TRUMP’S GOING TO GET RID OF THAT MANDATE ANYHOW. THE SUPREME COURT WILL TAKE THAT UP BECAUSE YOU CAN’T HAVE ONE STATE TELLING THE OTHER 49, INCLUDING COLORADO, what to buy and what not to buy. You cannot run, that does not work. So consumers have pushed back, legal, many attorney generals have pushed back, and this is great news. Now, once we get rid of them, we need to defund and remove the California Air Resources Board. President Trump tried to do that at the end of his four-year term. This has to be done immediately. Day one, EPA, get in there and take that away because Obama gave them more powers. We need to defund them and take away their powers. You do what you want in L.A. that does not affect the rest of the country.

And it is something else that we do and we help folks with because often when someone’s involved in a, a bad accident or a bad situation or accident or something happens at work, it can keep them from working for some period of time. And unfortunately, sometimes it’s for the rest of a career. And if someone works, they pay into the system, taxes are collected by the government and some of those taxes go for Social Security. not just retirement, but also disability benefits that folks can qualify for if, because of an accident or an injury or it can be an illness, they’re going to be unable to work for 12 months, 12 consecutive months. Then they have the right to seek and have Social Security disability benefits. Because we pay in, an employer pays 50% of that, and the employee pays 50% of that, and it’s something that can keep, well, it can keep food on the table for a lot of folks. And a lot of folks don’t understand and realize that if they’re unable to work, and it’s going to be for an extended period of time, they can apply for those benefits to kind of, well, to help them out until hopefully they can get back to work.

And so it’s probably something that is difficult to navigate without some professional help, yes?

Absolutely. We have a dedicated team, one attorney and one paralegal, that help folks from start to finish. They help them fill out the application because that is important, help them obtain the medical records and documentation that they do have a condition that prevents them from working. and then if necessary and often is necessary for folks to actually get and obtain those benefits they have to go in front of a judge an administrative law judge who listens to the testimony reviews the evidence looks at the medical records and makes a determination then if someone is qualified to obtain those benefits. And he’s written a piece in the Epoch Times regarding these. Trump is talking about freedom cities, which I find super, super interesting. So let me just check one other thing here, my friends, because there can be so many different moving parts. And I hate to be doing this when it’s live radio, but we want to try to make sure all this happens here. Just a second. Yeah, that should be the right phone number there, Joe. So hopefully that’s going to happen. But Nathan has written this piece. And, you know, we talk on a regular basis about 30 by 30. And that is Biden, when he got into office, he had signed an executive order that there would be additional, get us to that the land would be return to its natural habitat, at least 30% of the land to its natural habitat, which means that we would not have any human interaction whatsoever upon that land. And basically, they don’t want to have humans. And I’m thinking on that land, and I’m thinking, huh. And that’s why what Josh Lowenstein is doing with Our American Lands is so important is we’re seeing that it’s PBIs are trying to limit humans’ access to public lands and also trying to do things to take away property rights on our private lands as well. And so I’ve always thought, why not open up some of these lands to development so people can have their own personal home if they so decide to? And so Trump apparently has talked about something called Freedom Cities, where he would use millions of acres of what is currently federal land and actually build new cities in our country again. So I want to keep that. I want to go to break early so that Joe and I can get our wires together here on Nathan. And because we really do want to get him on the show. And that’s in my comment about an eight-hour workday. because many times the choices that people make when they’re not working, maybe because they’re just idle, may not be productive. I know we all need downtime, and certainly time to be with friends and family and to recreate. But I’m concerned that there’s been this focus away from productivity, and that’s just, as I mentioned in our discussion, uh history this day in history in 1919 austria instituted the eight uh eight hour work day so thank you sandra on that and then also she said drones and low altitude flights says unmanned aircraft known as drones are broadly available to the public and can fly at low altitudes over the property of others. And I know that Glenn Jansen with Jansen Photography, he can do photography with drones, which is pretty cool. But it says drone owners are free to fly these aircraft over private property subject to FAA rules without getting permission from the property owner. If a drone owner substantially impairs the property rights of a private party, though, They may face a civil lawsuit for compensation. So, okay. So that’s good to know there as well. So let’s see. Let’s get over here to some of these other headlines. One that I thought was very, very important was, let me get to that, is… This is one that Pam Long had alluded to. And here in Colorado, we see this big push to take away our Second Amendment rights. And they do this under the illusion of trying to have safe neighborhoods. And so this is published by the Colorado Accountability Project. And it is CDPHEs, that’s the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Let’s Talk Guns campaign echoes gun control and Democrat talking points. And it says, established by a 2021 law, CDPHE’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention was intended to, according to the bill summary of the law that created it, to coordinate and promote effective efforts to reduce gun violence. Part of the office’s recent work has been to create a public-facing web page, Let’s Talk Guns Colorado, which is sort of a clearinghouse for information on a variety of gun safety topics and state gun policy. Among the concerns of the legislators who voted against the office’s creation and among the public who disagreed was that the office would be used as a dressed-up way to deliver gun control talking points and further Democrat gun control efforts in the state. I think that’s probably true. And again, using a publicly funded agenda to make all of this happen. And it says, whether the office has a pattern of doing that is up for reasonable debate. But it says in their newsletter that is linked. And again, this is, let’s see, Colorado Accountability Project. And they go into depth on a definite instance of the office thoughtlessly fording gun control and Democrat talking points, along with an open email to the office requesting that they either amend or remove said language. It says that they’ve taken a quick tour through that, and it says this website is a collection of tips, topics, and guides. For example, if you were, say, a doctor wanting to talk to your patients about safe gun storage or wanted info on filing an ERPO petition, you could find info there. And anyway, I think the point is that government dollars… setting up bureaucracies whenever you see the office or the commission of fill in the blank that typically means that there’s a bureaucratic control that is occurring with that and all of these under the guise of hold on here just a second all of this is under the guise of of saying that they want to have safe communities. But let’s really unpack this a little bit more. What this is about is disarming the populace. And one of the first things that dictators do is they make sure that everyday people do not have access to firearms to protect themselves and their families. And there are those who say, well, just call the police or call the sheriff. Well, it takes a little while for them to arrive. And you want to make sure that you have the right to be able to protect yourself and your families. And the idea that you would have government that would dictate how you store a firearm in your home. So let’s say that the bad guys are at the door and you want to protect your children from the bad guys. And what do you say? Hey, wait just a minute. I’m going to go down to my gun safe. I’m going to get my firearm out. You just wait just a minute before you come into the house because I want to take care of that. That’s one of the things that is so really crazy about government wanting to come into your home and tell you what you can and cannot do in your home. And again, it is another way to, if you cannot access your firearm, then it is an infringement upon your firearm. And so this whole Office of Gun Violence Prevention is, again, bad guys don’t follow the rules. The bad guys are the ones that are going to have the firearms. And so we’re going to be at the tip of the spear on this particular issue. And I continue to think about that young mom that is in a… a dangerous neighborhood where she wants to make sure that she can protect herself and her children from the bad guys. And we did just pass this excise tax in this last election here in Colorado, which is a 6.5% excise tax on firearms and ammunition. So here she is trying to put food on the table and has to make different choices. And here we swoop in and put a tax on her ability to protect herself and her children from the bad guys. And so I think that we need to be very vigilant on what is going to be happening at this Colorado State Legislature this next session. It’s going to be interesting to see how… The radical activist agenda of these Colorado Democrats that are in power in the legislature and Governor Polis, nothing happens without his permission. But how he will be trying to portray himself as more libertarian is… even though his bureaucracies, his bureaucrats, this administrative state has been pushing this radical activist agenda. So it’s going to be really interesting to watch what happens with that. And so this is a great time for me to say, join the Colorado Union of Taxpayers. It’s only $25 per year. And we, during the legislative session, will go through all of the legislation that is scheduled for hearing. And then we will take a position on different pieces of legislation as they affect you as a taxpayer and your property rights. Colorado Union of Taxpayers has been an organization that has been… in existence since 1976. It’s all volunteers who care deeply about you and Colorado to do this. And so $25, you will get the email that we send to the governor and the legislators and our members each week regarding the different legislation for that week that we’re taking positions on. Text line is 720-605-0647. And, oh, gosh, here, I want to hear a lot of this. Different listeners. First one, and again, I was talking about the CDPHE and their Office to Gun Violence Prevention. And this first listener says, I can put a gun on my coffee table for 50 years and it won’t shoot anyone. It’s humans that kill people, not guns. Excellent point. Good point. Okay, next one. Listening to this Colorado entity that wants to have safer gun laws, all you had to say was the comment about a doctor discussing gun safety with, you told me, all I need to know about this new government entity. It is not a doctor’s business to know anything about the firearms that we may or may not have in our homes. If my doctor ever asked me that question, that would be the last appointment I’ve ever had with him. Excellent point. And then goes on to say, we also do not have to justify why we choose to have a firearm. I know that you often talk about the single mom, but we don’t have to explain ourselves. It is a right as an American citizen to have a firearm to protect ourselves from government tyranny. That’s absolutely correct. The reason I pull out that and I use that on a regular basis, that example, is there are those that are afraid of firearms. And they think that firearms are bad and that they are the reason that people are killed. And I think it’s somewhat naive. They think that if we could have all of these things. different gun laws and get rid of guns, then we would prevent people from shooting each other. Well, that’s not the case because the problem is, is if you limit law-abiding citizens the right to keep and bear a firearm and the bad guys know that, then that’s only going to embolden the bad guys. But there are, I think, very well-meaning people that have this idea, it’s kind of Pollyanna-ish, that just getting rid of access to firearms, that that’s going to alleviate the problem. So that’s why I do bring up the example on a regular basis regarding that single mom that wants to protect herself and her family against the bad guys because hopefully that gets the attention of some of these well-meaning people that are misdirected on our Second Amendment and those that want to take away our firearms. And so that is why we really – and Colorado is at the tip of the spear on this issue. The fact that they pushed that 6.5 percent excise tax and it was passed, you will now see them trying to send that out to other states as well. So we need to hold the line here, and the way to do that is to engage in this battle of ideas. Next thing, remember that you cannot give to someone, government cannot give to someone something for free that they have not first taken from someone else. And this is from the Center Square. It says 23 attorney generals oppose Biden’s fourth attempt to saddle Americans with student loan debt. And this is by Bethany Blankley at the Center Square. And this was published. We have a byline on this. I don’t see that. It says these attorneys led by Missouri and Kansas have put the Biden administration’s Department of Education on notice about this fourth attempt. to force the American taxpayers to pay for others’ student loan debt. Now let’s think about this for just a minute. There are those that have decided to not go to college, that they may have decided to trade school or they needed to immediately get into the workforce. They are paying taxes. They are being productive citizens. And the idea to take their tax money to pay for somebody else’s decision to go to a university or college and incur debt to do that is really unfair. But the other thing to remember is that debt that these students have incurred going to college has been used to pay administrators, professors that have pushed this indoctrination that we have seen with many colleges and universities I cannot tell you how many different families I have talked with that the parents are conservative. They’ve worked hard. They have put their kids through college or, again, taking on this debt I don’t think is a good idea for the kids. And then the child comes home and really – is now against all of the values of the parents who put all this together. And so how dumb are we to, first of all, incur this debt, let our children incur this debt, to pay these people, to indoctrinate our kids, to hate America, and disrespect their parents? And because we’ve had all the student loan debt money that’s gone in to the system, it’s increased the cost significantly. And it is unsustainable because more and more people are looking at this college degree and all of this debt and saying it doesn’t look like the cost-benefit ratio is there. so now here we are with the joe biden he says with less than three months this was recently says the department of left in his administration the department of education published a notice proposed rule making in the federal register announcing another attempt by the federal government to pay off student loan debt despite the u.s supreme court ruling it cannot do so And that proposed rule is titled Student Debt Relief for the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program and the Federal Family Education Loan Program. And I remember it was in the old days when kids got a college education. What that would imply is that they were learned. and that they would be able to get a good job. And that’s really, I think, what parents have wanted for everyone. But now when you are getting indoctrination and… When you’re getting degrees that nobody really wants to hire you for, then that’s a problem. And I do remember when I was on city council of Lone Tree is that I think that I know it was at least proposed. Now I can’t remember if it was passed that all new employees had to have a college degree. and didn’t say that you had to have a college degree in the field that you were applying for. It just said that you had that. This was another backdoor way to force kids into thinking they’re going to have a better job if they go out and they get a college degree, and so they incur debt to make that happen, and then all of a sudden it’s like, ah. So going on to this piece from the center square, it says, this is the fourth time the department has tried to shift the expense of student loans from those who willingly took them out to the American taxpayers. It says everyone from the Supreme Court to President Joe Biden to former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has publicly acknowledged that you do not have the authority to forgive debt except in the limited ways Congress clearly outlined. You must hear to these warnings and follow the law. And so the idea of getting rid of the Department of Education under the Doge project I think makes a lot of sense. And a project that I would really like to – and I’m just kicking the tires on it in my brain. So if you have ideas, you can help me with this. But as we know, at the federal level – Donald Trump and with Doge, Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk are going to cut government, cut these bureaucracies is really important. What I think you’ll see is doubling down at the local and the county and the state level. to continue to push this agenda that is really embedded in local, county, and state government. And so I’ve been thinking about one of the first ways that we need to get this turned around is to have our own Doge Colorado. And where could that start? Where would be the first places to cut off the money? And that would be government, federal government grants and loans. Because we are incurring significant debt, running deficits, and this debt is going to have to be paid off by us and by our children. It’s getting to a point where it seems like it’s impossible. although nothing’s impossible, but that trajectory is not sustainable. So we need to cut off the money that’s coming from the federal government for all of these government grants and loans and programs, and that reduces the control of the federal government. That then means that we need to hold our Local, county, and state, I almost said officials, are representatives accountable. But I think one of the best ways is to start to rein this all in is to get rid of the government money. I think it was Jenny that had texted me and said that these government grants are the cocaine and very addictive for government, local governments. And I think she was absolutely spot on on all of that. Now that we’re getting into the Christmas season, the Hanukkah season, and the kids are going to be off from school, do some things that are productive and informative and very educational. And one of those would be to go down to the Center for American Values and go to their Portraits of Valor of over 160 Medal of Honor recipients. And you can talk about these men and learn about these men. I’ve said to both Brad and Drew, her co-founders of the center, I would love it if each year every student in Colorado would choose a Medal of Honor recipient and have to write a report on them to learn about them. Oh, gosh, this is a new law. Here we go. New law. This is from KDVR. New laws going into effect in Colorado, January of 2025. It’s so interesting that they have these start after the election. And the first one is ban on holding your cell phones while driving. It says, texting while driving has already been illegal in the state for several years, while holding cell phones while driving was against the law for children under 18. Come 2025, Colorado drivers could be fined for holding a phone while driving. It’s Senate Bill 24065, and the Colorado Union of Taxpayers took a no position on this. And it says the first time a driver is caught, they face a $70 fine or two license suspension points. Gosh, you know what? I think, what do you think about this, Joe?

I think that’s a little bit ridiculous. Yes, I understand safety and stuff, but to fine you money for that?

I think we have distracted driving rules out there. I think it’s all just about control. And so that’s one of the new ones. Next one. If you’ve ever wrestled a child car seat, which it can be one of the most frustrating experiences to try to get a car seat locked into the car. In fact, I saw a comedian, he said he’d hoped that he could get the car seat in the car before the child graduated from high school. It can be so difficult. So House Bill 241055. And so when you see the designation, first of all, it’ll be the year. So this was passed in the year 24. And the House Bill was 1055. And it’s updating child safety seat rules in the state. It says, one of the things that it changed is that kids will now be required to use a booster seat until turning nine years old, raising the age that kids stay in booster seats by one year. So, Joe, kids can be different sizes when they’re nine years old. You could have a very large nine-year-old kid that still has to sit in a booster seat. How about if the parents could make the decision on that? What do you think?

I totally agree. And actually, there was a rule growing up for me in New York. It was you either had to be 10 years old or over the weight of 100 pounds to be able to not have to use a booster seat anymore.
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh, my gosh. I have friends that are only 100 pounds and they’re driving. So next one. And I’d written about this. This was passed back in 2020. And I’d written an essay on this. And Zach had done such a great job with the image on it. He had the gold dome of the Capitol was actually an egg. You know, and I think we probably need to, I’m going to talk to Zach about republishing this. It says, starting January 1, 2025, all eggs sold in the state of Colorado must be cage-free environments. The law was passed in 2020, but it went into effect in two stages. Starting in 2023, egg producers were required to give hens more space if they were confined in cages. Now, all eggs sold in Colorado must be cage-free starting in January. So this increases the cost of eggs. Eggs has been a great protein source for families, particularly if they’re on a tight budget. And so this just increases the price of this protein source. And again, this is on top of government-induced inflation. So we’ll continue on. We have Ron on the line. Ron, what is on your radar? Okay.

Hey, Kim. They passed that bill about wearing helmets on bikes, and then you have to wear your seatbelt, and you have to do this. This is conditioning. This is what they do to condition you for these COVID-type scenarios. This is what they use, and they try to condition the populace to follow what they do.
SPEAKER 02 :
Ron, I think you’re absolutely correct. And again, when I was on city council, I was up at the big, let’s see, Colorado Municipal League meeting. They have a big retreat and it’s normally up in the mountains. The city pays for room and board for their city council people and their staff to go up to that meeting. And this is a room there was probably a thousand people in it. And somebody got up and said that it was two things. One of them was to force people to wear helmets. So whenever I ride my bike, I haven’t ridden it in a while. I’ve been walking. But I would just as a just as a rebel, I would not wear a helmet. And then and actually could see that you could see that play out in COVID as well. I was a bit of a rebel on that. Yeah. And then the other was, again, this was sometime 2012 to 2016. Somebody got up and said, we need to ban plastic bags at the grocery store. And remember, Ron, in COVID, where people were so concerned about germs, they were actually Many people were disinfecting their packages that were even delivered to their door. So concerned about germs. Now, with eliminating clean plastic bags to take your groceries home in, people are bringing in bags that have been in their cars, their trunks for weeks, not washed, bringing all those germs into our food source. And I think that’s crazy. What do you think?
SPEAKER 07 :
Oh, yeah. The government doesn’t care about you. They pump all these chemicals into your food. Smoking, all this other stuff, they don’t care whether you live or die. What they care about is control and money. And that’s what they care about.
SPEAKER 02 :
And that’s why we have to push back on that because I think you’ve nailed it. Ron, thank you so much. It’s always good to hear from you.

Okay, that line is 303-477-5600. Jenny said this. So the leftists are concerned about our children, the safety of our children. She says, you mean the ones that they didn’t abort? She always nails it. You know exactly what she’s saying. Let’s see here. Okay. So this is one of our listeners said, no, all of us have new cars. When I’m holding my phone, I’m following my map, which makes driving safer. Okay, that’s a good point. You know what I got? I got one of those cup holders, though, so that I can just look down at that. So it’s really easy to do. And I would recommend that. That makes things. But I don’t think it’s government’s business. Well, what if you… distracted driving that’s what we need to as john bosun says we need to stay focused but we don’t need government getting into our homes and our cars telling us what to do let’s see we’ve got a lot of other comments here uh let’s see Okay. Oh, I’ll get to this in just a second. Next one regarding new laws, gun storage requirements in vehicles. House Bill 24, 1348. Again, I’m pretty sure the Colorado Union of Taxpayers took a position on this as no. It bans anyone from leaving a handgun in an unintended vehicle unless they first secure it in a locked container placed out of view. Violators could be hit with a fine of up to $500. So let’s say that you’re coming back to your car and somebody is following you. You want to get into your car and you may be attacked and you might want to use your firearm to protect yourself. Hold on just a minute. I got to get my firearm out of the mandated locked thing, whatever, in my car. Do you see how this is empowering the bad guy and making it more difficult for the good guy to protect themselves, Joe?
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s about as silly as requiring to have the gun disassembled across your house to be able to defend your home. It just makes no sense. You have to run around. Hold on. Wait one minute. Let me go get the top end of my pistol, the bottom end of my pistol. Hold up. The magazine’s in the garage, too. Let me go get that as well.
SPEAKER 02 :
It’s just uncomfortable. Is that something that they’re proposing? Yeah. Or is that a law someplace?
SPEAKER 10 :
That was one that was proposed, I want to say, about three years ago. At least in Oklahoma, they tried to do that, and it did not fly very well there.
SPEAKER 02 :
I don’t think that.
SPEAKER 10 :
But it’s just silly.
SPEAKER 02 :
But you know what? The other thing is, is they never give up. They continue to try to limit your access to firearms in all different ways. So next one, let’s see here, that’s going into effect. This was in 2022. It was House Bill 22-1345 to regulate the sale and distribution of two different chemicals. I can’t even say it. Better known as PFAs or forever chemicals within the state. It says the first effect went in in January 24 and banned PFAs in things like rugs, food packaging and products. Meant for kids, again, protecting kids, always protecting kids. As Jenny said, the ones they don’t abort. And it also required that cookware disclose it has PFAs included in it. So, again, these are new laws. Oh, my gosh, there is a whole list of these. Let me see if there’s any other thing. Okay. Agriculture and Natural Resources Public Engagement Requirement. I kind of remember that. That was Senate Bill 026. And okay, let me see if I can say this particular text here. Okay. Question. It says, why are the people of Colorado so stupid to put these people in office that continue to restrict our lives? That is a good question. And I’ve heard reports that Colorado is the only state that went further blue out of all 50 states in the nation. I’m not sure I buy that, but we want to find out. And that is why we have done the Colorado 2024 election project. We have our two lawsuits out there, one with United Sovereign Americans and the other was the Wisconsin for Center for Election Justice. This project is going to morph into Reclaim Colorado 2025. Joe, you have a quick comment and we’re just about out of time.

I just have a kind of conjecture about that question. Appointed officials. I feel like Colorado had the most appointed officials out of every state. And that might be just why we get these bad actors that we didn’t want.
SPEAKER 02 :
And who is appointing all this? The libertarian Governor Polis, who wants to run for governor, and just said he was getting rid, the buzz saw on all these regulations.
