SPEAKER 05 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 14 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes. With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 05 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 08 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know, you can’t explain. But you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 14 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 06 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by High Five Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electric, where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 10 :
All right, welcome. Happy Monday, everybody. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Myself, Charlie Grimes, of course, our engineer today. Dave from Veteran Windows and Doors joining us in this first segment. Dave, how are you? I am well, sir. Yes, happy new year to you as well. Last time I saw you, I said, well, see you in the new year. Here we are.
SPEAKER 13 :
And here we are.
SPEAKER 10 :
And time flies. It’s funny how it works. Yeah, we should slow down a little bit. It doesn’t work that way, does it? No. Speaking of, we’ve got really cold weather coming in this coming weekend. It’s really going to get people thinking about the window-door sides of things. If they already are great, if not… They will be because when we start getting down to that below zero temps that they’re talking about, who knows where we’ll actually be. I’ll talk about that in the next segment because who knows. It’s a big topic right now because when it gets that cold here, it can affect a lot of things, and I’ll get into some of that. And we’ve got some great sponsors for all of you listening that could help with a lot of those things, Dave being one on the windows and door sides of things. But, Dave, there’s no way even if somebody calls you today, you’re going to get windows and doors in by next Monday.
SPEAKER 13 :
Negative. No.
SPEAKER 10 :
Actually, cold weather’s coming Saturday. Not going to happen by Saturday.
SPEAKER 13 :
Not going to happen by Saturday.
SPEAKER 10 :
No. Okay, so along those lines, and we’ll get into what you do in the product and so on with Provia and that, but let’s say somebody’s got a door, windows, whatever. They’ve been meaning to call you. They just haven’t had time. They know they need to get some things done. They know this cold weather’s really coming in this weekend, and they’re really not prepared. What can they do?
SPEAKER 13 :
I mean, the best thing is to, you know, I tell all of our customers, get multiple bids for all of this stuff. If windows, every window is designed differently, and if the window has failed, as many of them do here, you know, that are gas-filled, then there’s really not much they can do.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s really a combination of how is that window properly engineered? Is it actually going to maintain its efficiency? And then how is it installed? Because you can get the most efficient product in the world if they just slam it in the opening and walk away. It’s to no avail. Um, but my, my biggest thing is I think for all of our customers and the reason I tell them to get multiple bids, just because a door, for example, you know, I sell Provia products just because that door says Provia does not mean that it was engineered correctly for Colorado.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 13 :
And what a lot, many companies don’t explain those efficiency values or any of that to you, you end up buying a product that’s, yes, it’s brand new, but it’s rated for Arizona, not for the Northern region. Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
Got it. And so that’s why I… You really got to compare not just apples to apples, but the slice of the apple to the slice of the apple.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, that’s it. That’s just because it’s… Just because the name is the same doesn’t mean anything. Absolutely.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 13 :
I followed behind… a company that sold a gentleman a Provia door that I was able to build that door in the app. I sell the same product, and it wasn’t ENERGY STAR certified for anywhere in the country, let alone Colorado. Didn’t meet any of the energy requirements. He was able to get out from under that agreement as a result.
SPEAKER 10 :
Good.
SPEAKER 13 :
But that’s why I kind of prefaced that. Get bids, but also be educated. Know what you’re looking for.
SPEAKER 10 :
Know the bid. That’s it. And for all of you listening, you won’t know some of that without talking to Dave. And believe me, I’ve learned all sorts of things along these lines in the last year plus, two years even, that I did not know on the front side of this, Dave, that you learn as you go along. And I’ve learned a ton because of you and the education that you’ve not only given me but our listeners as well. Okay, so as folks are heading into this weekend, And they’re like, yeah, I know, Dave, I need to just get new windows and new doors. I know my home needs it and so on, but it’s not going to happen by the weekend. Do any of those cheesy kits where you glue the stuff onto the window, you take the hair dryer, heat it up, is any of that stuff worth anything at all, Dave, to help keep things warmer?
SPEAKER 13 :
I mean, it’s a Band-Aid like anything. But if some of those kits where you put the plastic over the window and then you blow dry it to make it taut, those are great if you’re having a lot of airflow and things like that.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 13 :
But it really doesn’t impact some of the overall efficacy of the window.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 13 :
So it’s…
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s a temporary band-aid at best.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s just a band-aid, yep, to get you through that season. But that’s why it’s key to actually know what you’re looking at from an energy standpoint, know what those values should be based on where you live, and then make your choice based on that.
SPEAKER 10 :
Now, for some of you where it’s super cold, you know, hey, I’ve got even a threshold that’s leaking in. I know I’m not going to have time to fix that by the weekend and such. Folks, this is where you can take a blanket or a cotton towel and roll it up, and sure, you can put those things at the bottom edge and try to keep some of those drafts down and so on. I know that’s not correct, quote-unquote, Dave, but anything to help some of that airflow coming in isn’t going to hurt at all.
SPEAKER 13 :
No, that’s it. I mean, and that’s – I’ve often – I’ve told many customers, you know, in the interim, you can do this. You can put this along the threshold or things like that. But, again, it’s just a temporary fix.
SPEAKER 10 :
And my point is, is as we go through this weekend – For all of you listening, this is the true test as to how things are really working in your home. No offense, a day like today, you might know a little bit here or there, but we’ve got sunshine coming through the window and it’s above 40 degrees. It’s really hard to tell if that thing’s really working like it should. When it’s zero and below, Dave, you know really well then whether it’s working or not.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, that’s it. When your heat is kicking on every 10 minutes to keep it at 65 degrees, that’s a good indicator.
SPEAKER 10 :
Frost on the inside of the windows and things along those lines. Pretty good indicator of, yeah, I probably should have Dave out.
SPEAKER 13 :
Probably time to at least take a look.
SPEAKER 10 :
Now, along those lines, too, which I know Dave would look at all of this when he would be out looking at your home anyways. But, hey, if you’re going through this next weekend of cold weather and you notice some things where it’s like, man, that just doesn’t seem right, take pictures. You can always take pictures during that time. unlikely Dave will be out during that really cold spell time frame to look at that exact scenario. So take some pictures of what might be going on, and that gives him a really good indicator. I mean, you’re going to know as you go through the process anyways, but that gives you a little bit better indicator as to what’s happening in that area.
SPEAKER 13 :
Absolutely, and I do. I have quite a few customers that will send me images of what they’re dealing with, and I can. I can look at it, and I can kind of discern if this is an installation thing or is this actually a product issue.
SPEAKER 10 :
Is it a product situation? What is it? Okay, so for those of you, a few tips for you. I wouldn’t go out and buy a bunch of the shrink products. you know, shrink wrap window, you know, film stuff that you see. I just don’t think at the end of the day, you’re going to gain much for a lot of you that might have some minor leaks here and there. And yes, you need to get Dave out and do some things. This is where, hey, a few extra towels and some things like that might do really well, even on some of the windowsills and such. If you notice, you’ve got some frost buildup and things like that, just getting through this next little phase. But in the end, Dave, getting you out and getting things done proper is what needs to happen.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, I definitely think that’s the best bet. And it’s, you know, our approach is always we don’t try to sell anything. That’s not my effort. My effort is simply to educate. This is the reality. This is what we’re dealing with. This is how these windows are made and why. And then if we are a fit, then that’s great. We’re going to do the best job we can. And if we’re not a fit, that’s fine, too. You know, we’re not.
SPEAKER 10 :
Typically he is, though, everybody. What’s that? Typically, he is a good fit because of everything you do. I mean that sincerely. Every single person that I’ve ever had message me about you being out and doing different things and so on, everybody is just super happy and very thankful for what you did for them just because of the things we’re talking about right now.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, that’s what we’re trying to do. We’re just trying to approach it from a different light and really allow people to make an educated choice that is the best for them.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s funny you say that. I was talking to a coach of other businesses, as you know, Dave, and I was talking to a client this morning, and just going back in time when I owned my own businesses on the retail end of things and so on, still do, but not on that end. And I made a comment to a client of mine where I said, you know, the best customers I had were the most educated.
SPEAKER 13 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 10 :
When I educated them well, they became my best customers, and I think you would agree, right?
SPEAKER 13 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 1 :
100%.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s amazing when people realize what they were sold as opposed to what they should have been sold. And there’s a great disparity there.
SPEAKER 10 :
And what I’ve learned through the years, folks, is when you find a business that will help educate you, not based upon the end sale, but just helping you have the right info to make the right decisions, those are good businesses. Those are people you keep doing business with. And that’s Dave at Veterans. That’s what we’re trying to do. And I forgot to ask, any specials for January?
SPEAKER 13 :
We’re actually, our effort this year is to really grow the company. Okay. So what I’m going to do is actually 45% off doors, entry doors. Okay. And we’re going to cover the installation costs for the month of January, and I’m going to do 35% off windows, any window bid, and the same thing. We will cover the cost of the installation and all of the ancillary materials we need to install.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, I’m putting my notes down, so I’ll have that for when I talk. And that’s perfect. Dave, as always, it’s been a joy just getting to know you more and more every time you’re here. And even when we meet out of here, it’s always a joy. And I learn so much from you and appreciate what you do and what you do for all of our listeners as well.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, I’m grateful to be here, and you have great listeners, and they greatly value you.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, I appreciate them as well. So, Dave, thank you also. And, again, folks, give Dave at Veteran Windows and Doors a call. If you have missed anything we’ve talked about and you want to get a hold of Dave, all you have to do is go to klzradio.com or rushtoreason.com. You can find Dave either way there. And, again, easy thing to do. Just go to our websites, and you can find him. And, again, Dave, as always, thank you, sir. Appreciate you very much.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yes, sir. Thank you.
SPEAKER 10 :
All right, Golden Eagle Financial coming up next. And Al wants to make sure that you are dialed in, not just with your doors and windows like Dave is talking about, but that you’re dialed in when it comes to your retirement, how you’re going to get there, how you’re going to stay there. Talk to Al today. Find him also at klzradio.com.
SPEAKER 11 :
Waiting to invest in your retirement can cost you exponentially, but Al Smith of Golden Eagle Financial can help get you started investing now. When you invest early, your money has more time to grow. As the interest you earn begins to generate its own interest over the years, Al Smith knows that even a small delay can lead to a dramatic difference in the total amount accumulated. And every day you wait means you’re missing even more opportunity. Starting to save even a few years earlier could mean the difference of hundreds of thousands by the time you enter retirement, even if the same amount is contributed annually. The longer you wait, the more you miss out on the compounding effect of time, making it much harder to catch up. Let Al Smith of Golden Eagle Financial help you today by contacting him on the klzradio.com advertisers page. Investment advisory services offered through Brookstone Capital Management LLC, a registered investment advisor. BCM and Golden Eagle Financial Limited are independent of each other. Insurance products and services are not offered through BCM, but are offered and sold to individually licensed and appointed agents.

SPEAKER 04 :
God. Country. Reason. Now back to John Rush.
SPEAKER 10 :
And we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. And again, thank you for joining me. And yes, big news of not only today, but probably will be all week as we watch this Arctic cold front that will be dropping into Colorado. Sounds like late Friday. Now, timing, who knows? We’ll learn more as the week goes on. Most models, though, are in agreement that we will see below zero weather. How far below zero, that’s where they’re not all in agreement. And as we get closer, we’ll know more. A lot of it has to do with how far it comes down and whether there’s a particular front in California that if it stays off the coast and doesn’t move in, it’ll get colder. If the front does move in, that pressure may push that cold weather a little bit further east, and it may not be as cold in the Denver Front Range area. But it’s going to get cold no matter what. I mean, honestly, for me, it’s cold now. If it gets below zero, I don’t care if it’s 5, 0, negative 5, negative 10, it’s cold no matter what. And it will be cold this weekend. So I want to mention, just because we have lots of partners on our program, and it’s a nice not only highlight for them, but for you as well, to be prepared on the front side. All of these guys that we have that we are partnered up with, whether it’s from the automotive side, whether it’s on the HVAC side, whether it’s plumbing and electrical, They’re all going to get busy, probably already now are, but will get busier when that weather hits. So where I’m going with this is instead of waiting until something happens or breaks, be proactive and get that done now versus then. And I know some people don’t know when something’s going to break. That I get. OK, I understand. On the same token. been in that world long enough to also know that there are some things all of us know need attention that we procrastinate and delay on. And we keep saying, oh, I’ll get to that. I’ll get to that. I’ll get to that. And then we don’t get to it. And then that type of weather hits. And then we wish we would have gotten to it because now it’s an emergency. And the reason I say all of this is because the cost of of doing those things in the emergency is always more than it is if you’re doing it proactively. So the reason I wanted to mention it today, five days out, is because there are some things you could get done now versus then. So, for example, on the car side, Geno’s Auto Service, you’ve got a problem with your car, battery that you think might be kind of on the edge where you’ve been putting that thing off, and, yeah, I know I need to get one, but it keeps turning over. Well, when it gets below zero, it won’t. That one I can pretty much guarantee you on. So in turn, get into Geno’s now before that weather hits and you’re good to go. On the HVAC side, we have Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning. If you’ve had some issues with your furnace where sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, it’s been good throughout the winter so far, but you’re just not sure how it’s going to work when it’s running a lot more than it is right now, call Hunter at Cub Creek and get that end of things dialed in. Plumbing and electrical, high five. You know you’ve got a particular area in your house where if it does get that cold, could be a problem. Some of you know your homes very well. The last thing you want is a frozen pipe. And there’s little tips and tricks that I’ll talk about through the week when it comes to some of those things where even if they can’t come out, we’ll try to at least get you through that time frame. But if you knowingly have a problem… Get high five out now. Get it resolved prior to this event that we know is coming up. The nice thing about this storm is at least it’s far enough out that they’re giving us plenty of warning where these sorts of things you can get dialed in prior to this happening. And then, of course, on the electrical side, same situation. Nobody wants to be without heat or without power or without their car when it’s below zero. I just hit on literally three of the hottest items for people when the weather gets that bad and don’t want to get down this path of what you go buy grocery-wise because that’s a whole other conversation that maybe I’ll get into this week, maybe I won’t. But I can already tell you people are probably already going to be out shopping and doing things, and good luck finding some things even now because some things will already start to run out because that’s just how it works. My point is on the service end of things where we’re talking house and car, if you’ve got some known problems, get those things taken care of. Now, we’ve got great partners. Find all of them at klzradio.com or rushtoreason.com, and you can call them and get some of this stuff taken care of on the front side versus trying to do it on the back side. And as somebody that’s been in the service industry my whole life, literally my whole life, I cannot stress enough that when those times come, things break. It just happens. And some of it is because that extra temperature swing is enough to take something that was already on its way out fully out and or create problems that you didn’t even know were there prior. So last little tip, and I know this isn’t Fix It Radio on Saturdays, but since I do that show on Saturday mornings at 9, you’ll hear a replay tomorrow at 2. Go around the house while we still have a little bit of warm weather and make sure you’ve got all your stuff dialed in. If you have anything that needs taking care of, anything that needs handled, I did a bunch of stuff around my place yesterday just in anticipation of really cold weather this next weekend because nobody wants, you just, A, you can’t be out in it. I mean, you can, but to be all dressed and ready and to go out and do some things when it’s, you know, in this case, it could get as low as 20 below. That’s no fun to be out in. I’ve had to do that in my career over the years. And no, it is no fun. So my point is, don’t procrastinate. If you’ve got the ability, get a few things done now. And side note, for a lot of you guys that have animals, I don’t have to tell you, you already know what to do with your animals in most cases. But if you’re new to our state. Maybe you’re just picking this up for the first time. You have some animals and things along those lines. If they especially are transplants as well and they aren’t used to the cold weather, they especially will need to be kept inside. And all of you that have livestock, you know exactly what you need to do with your livestock. I don’t need to tell you what to do. But for the rest of you that are listening, be very careful. These are the types of situations where, yes, we can have people that die, unfortunately, because they don’t take the precautions on the front side. And one other thing I want to add to this, if you know of people that need help that can’t do this on their own, elderly and so on, please see what you can do to help them. Make sure they’re also prepared. Again, most people are probably watching the news and have noticed this is coming, but some don’t. Some may not know. And the last thing we want is people being caught off guard. So if you’ve got some neighbors… Relatives, anybody that you know that might need an extra hand, make sure that you’re watching over them and giving them that extra hand as well because, yes, it will. And I’m saying this today on Monday, and I did this purposely during this segment after talking to Dave just to make sure that we’ve got all of our stuff dialed in as we head into the weekend because the weather’s still fairly nice and will be until about, I believe, noon Friday. And I think you’re going to see the temperature start to fall and drop out after that on Friday. And we may get some snow as well. That’s another one that’s got a huge variable to it that we have no idea at this point. But, again, just be careful. We’ve got great partners. Find them all. Next one, I just mentioned a moment ago, Hi-Fi Plumbing. If you’ve got any issues at all, things you want to get taken care of on the front side, give Hi-Fi a call today, 877-WE-HI-5.

All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Our next guest joining us now, John Eastman. John, welcome. How are you, sir? I’m well, John. Thank you very much for having me on your show. I appreciate it. Talk to us about your new film.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, it’s called The Eastman Dilemma, Lawfare or Justice. And it premiered at Mar-a-Lago back on January 4th. And the president came and watched it with us, along with Italian Prime Minister… uh georgia maloney and uh marco rubio was there and incoming treasury secretary stephen descent and it was a terrific evening uh and i think people were really impressed by The detail exhibited in the story about illegality in the 2020 election and the constitutional routes I pursued to try and have it addressed, but more fundamentally, the lawfare that has resulted in the aftermath of that, a great abuse of our criminal justice and bar disciplinary systems. And the main purpose of the movie is to alert people to what’s going on.
SPEAKER 10 :
I mean, the reality is, even though the other side won’t admit it, the legal system has been weaponized, correct?
SPEAKER 15 :
There’s no question about it. And, you know, the greatest psychiatric projection example in history, I think, is the Democrats claiming that if Trump got elected, he would weaponize the Justice Department.
SPEAKER 10 :
It already was.
SPEAKER 15 :
And just those of us that have been on the receiving end of that for the last four years weren’t front row seats to the weaponization that had already occurred.
SPEAKER 10 :
And again, I… Believe me, John, these people aren’t that ignorant. They’re not that blind. Some of their followers, you know, some of the lemmings might be. But believe me, the powers that be, they’re not ignorant. They know exactly what they’ve done. They know that it’s been weaponized. And reality is they weaponized it. They did it on purpose.
SPEAKER 15 :
They did it on purpose. And I think they thought that they would never have to have the shoe on the other foot. But they’re now all scrambling for fear that they will be criminally prosecuted. Because what I believe has gone on in the last four years is a nationwide criminal conspiracy to deprive people of their First Amendment rights, their Fourth Amendment rights, your attorney-client privilege rights. And, you know, those are federal felonies. And we’ve got an incoming crew at the Department of Justice and the FBI that seem bent on pursuing that.
SPEAKER 10 :
We’ve even seen, John, the ATF abuse their powers and take Second Amendment rights away as well, correct? Correct.
SPEAKER 15 :
We have. Second Amendment rights, the Fourth Amendment, the prohibition on general warrants. I mean, they’ve been issuing warrants to banks and social media platforms, cryptocurrency operations, just to give us all the data on the people, and we’ll sort through and see if we can find anything. That’s an unconstitutional general warrant. It’s one of the reasons we fought the Revolutionary War and why we have a Fourth Amendment, and they’re just shredding it.
SPEAKER 10 :
So, side note. There are a lot of individual voters out there. I’ll give credit where credit’s due, John. I think there’s a lot of really smart voters that understand everything you and I are talking about. They’re on you and I’s side. They see this stuff. They know that’s happening. Although the reality of this and the sad part of this is far too many don’t even know what some of their basic rights are and the fact that they’re being violated.
SPEAKER 15 :
They are. You know, one of the one of the things when University of Colorado canceled my classes at the last minute in January of 2021 because of my representation of President Trump. One of the things that happened is the local ladies group said, well, he’s now here anyway. Why don’t we have him teach a seminar on the Constitution for us? So for six weeks up in Boulder and Lakewood, we held this constitutional law seminar for people, and it was packed every night and half, double the audience size watching it on streaming. People need to be aware of what their constitutional rights are, but they also need to be aware of how the government is infringing or breaching those constitutional rights. And that’s what this movie is designed to do, to get people aware and to get them angry about what’s been going on so they’ll do something about it.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I was talking to one of our sponsors here just a few minutes ago, John, talking about how an educated customer is the best customer there is, in my opinion. I’ve been self-employed my whole life and will tell you that I love educated customers. I used to do a lot of things to educate my customer because the better educated they are, the better they are. Unfortunately, in the United States of America, we’ve gone the opposite when it comes to our citizenry. We’re like, wait a minute, if we can dumb them down and make them last smart, then guess what? We’ll take advantage of them.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, I fear that’s true. And you see it happening in the public schools. Look, one of the silver linings, the few silver linings of the COVID. pandemic was that parents watching the Zoom meetings over their children’s shoulders saw what was really going on. And the movement toward charter schools, toward freedom-based charter schools, and even homeschooling has just exploded because of it. I think that’s a very good thing. I agree. Break the monopoly on the public education system, because it was teaching that America is the root of all evil in the world, when the opposite is true.
SPEAKER 10 :
Root of all evil. We shouldn’t have a Second Amendment. There really should be no First Amendment. And granted, they didn’t say it quite like that, but their end goal is that, John.
SPEAKER 15 :
Oh, that’s right. First Amendment only for people that agree with them.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 15 :
And classifying it as misinformation, anybody that disagrees with them. And because it’s misinformation, we can shut it down. You know, they have such a lock on the truth in their own minds that I think they don’t realize that maybe they might be mistaken.
SPEAKER 10 :
What do you feel, folks that are listening, and we’ll give them the way to watch this movie here in just a few minutes, John, but what do you feel people will be the most shocked at when they watch the movie?
SPEAKER 15 :
I think the fact that, for giving legal advice, me and other lawyers are being criminally prosecuted. for giving legal advice on open questions of constitutional law. And the electors, oftentimes just politically active volunteers in their states, are being criminally prosecuted for doing what both left and right legal scholars say needed to be done, which is cast their electoral votes Based on any contingencies and still pending election challenges. And that’s now been converted into criminal behavior, not just criminal behavior, but criminal enterprise mob type stuff, racketeering enterprise claims out of Georgia, you know, forgery and false impersonation of public officials. in arizona i mean this is utter nonsense and yet it’s it’s costing these people millions of dollars oftentimes without any any national platform on which to raise that kind of money to provide for their defense absolutely all right so the movie the eastman dilemma lawfare or justice how do they find it where do they watch it So for a short time only, they can watch it for free streaming at MadisonMediaFund.org. After that, in another couple weeks, I think it’s going to go onto one of the paid platforms. But we’ll also be traveling around the country to do private showings at local theaters, and I’m pretty sure we’re going to do one in the Denver area. So I will be posting that schedule up on my website, which is GiveSendGo.com slash Eastman.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, so as you get closer, by the way, to knowing something on a Denver date, nothing else, at least send us an email, reach out, let me know when that is. I’ll make sure I make announcements here for that as well. And give us that Madison Media website one more time. MadisonMediaFund.org. Okay. I’m going to put that in my notes so people can get a hold of that. John, as always, I appreciate you joining us. And unfortunately, we’re at a time where – well, let me back up. Would you have ever thought that our founding fathers would have seen a need for a movie like this?
SPEAKER 15 :
No, and they’re rolling over in their graves seeing what’s been transpiring and that we have to fight back. But somebody asked me, do you regret ever representing Trump? And I always tell them no. Our country’s on the precipice of losing the freedoms our forebears fought for. And for whatever reason, I’ve been cast into a front-line role in that war, and I can’t think of anything more important to be doing to make sure that what I hand off to my kids and grandkids— is something remotely close to the freedoms that we inherited.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, and I think, not to belabor this, John, but I think there’s so many anti-Trumpers that because it’s Trump and he’s the one being prosecuted, they sort of have this sort of, well, it’s Trump, we don’t care anyways. But yet, if the shoe was on the other foot or it was one of their family members, they sure would care then.
SPEAKER 15 :
They would. A friend of mine said it’s called Trump law. If it involves Trump, there ain’t no law. And unfortunately, you can’t have a legal system that operates on that basis.
SPEAKER 10 :
No. But am I right? There’s a certain amount of individuals out there that just because it’s him, and I guess you just said it, that Trump factor or whatever you want to call it, at the end of the day, they’re willing to erase the Constitution because it’s Trump. Right.
SPEAKER 15 :
In other words, they’re willing to shred the Constitution in circumstances which is the very reason we have those rights. You don’t need the right to free speech if what you’re talking about is something everybody agrees with. The right to free speech is most important when what you’re saying challenges the status quo.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I’ve always said on this program that the First Amendment is to protect that speech that I may not agree with.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yep. And we have it because that’s the way you get to the truth. If everybody are just a bunch of lemmings and just parrot the line that comes out of some government bureaucrat, you never get to the truth. It’s by challenging things and debating and discussing and deliberating that you get to the truth. And if you shut down one side of any argument, you will never get to the truth.
SPEAKER 10 :
That dialogue is really important. And frankly, that dialogue was lost, as you know, through COVID. And there was so much, you know, nonsense in regards to, you know, what treatments worked and what didn’t and on and on we go. The reality was if you opposed anything outside of a shot or sending somebody to the hospital on a ventilator, you know, you might as well be burned at the stake, John. And we had no dialogue along those lines because they wouldn’t allow it.
SPEAKER 15 :
No, that’s right. And, you know, in the fullness of time, we find out nearly everything they were telling us, spoon-fed, thrown down our throats, was false. And they knew it to be false at the time.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yep, they did. And collectively, though, they were all behind it. To your point, they shut down all the dissenters, and we already know what the result of that was. It’s not good. It never is, as you just said. It’s not good. Never is.
SPEAKER 15 :
No, and the American people have more common sense than what somebody once said. I’d rather be ruled by the first hundred names in the Boston phone book than the professorship at Harvard Law School or Harvard University. Can’t argue that. You know, they’ve gotten so wise in their own minds that they can’t see common sense past their nose.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yep, absolutely. John, I appreciate you very much. Thank you for the film, and let me know when the dates are. If you do get to Denver, and I’ll make sure we announce those. Will do. Thanks so much. Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 10 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Appreciate you joining us today, by the way. And by the way, great interview. Thank you again, John, for that. And yeah, that’d be a great movie for all of you to watch. So closing out this hour. Lots about the fires in California. I talked a little bit about these last week. I’m not going to really talk a ton about them this week because pretty much have said what I need to say, went over a lot of insurance stuff on two different shows that I have outside of here, Ready Radio and Fix It Radio. At the end of last week, you’ll hear one of those shows tomorrow between 2 and 3 talking about the whole insurance aspect of things. And while – how do I want to say this? Those fires are going to affect the entire country. And people don’t even realize it. Some, I mean, most everybody has a concern for what’s happened in people’s, you know, loss of not only life, but property and so on. And, you know, hearts and prayers and so on go out to them no matter what level of life they’re in. From the millionaires, because there’s really, you know, you hear people talk about the billionaires that own property there. I’ve not found there to be any billionaires. There’s some… Wealthy individuals, no doubt, and some millionaires definitely that are in that area. I don’t think you could even live in that area and not be one. But there’s a big difference between a millionaire and a billionaire, like 1,000 times over. Huge difference. So it doesn’t really matter what level of income you’re on. When you lose everything, it’s not fun, period. And your – how should I say this? Your heart will hurt – No matter what. I don’t care what level of income you’re in because you’ve lost personal items. It doesn’t matter whether you’re somebody that makes, you know, $10,000 a year, $10 million a year. When you lose personal items, things that are, you know, very precious to you, it hurts. And my whole point with this is this is going to be costly as well. And it’s going to be costly in numerous ways. One, your insurance. Everybody’s insurance is going to go up. I don’t care where you’re at. Your insurance is going up. On top of that, here’s what I think might happen for us in Colorado, and I don’t think I’m wrong on this one. Some of those people are coming here. Not all, but some will. And some of you are thinking, okay, so who cares? Well, we already struggle with our inventory in Colorado, and our prices are already high, as you all know. Bringing people that, in this case, may have cash to spend to Colorado will do nothing but drive some of those things even up higher than they are right now. And a lot of people aren’t thinking or talking about some of those things, because here’s the reality. Even though some might say, yep, we’re rebuilding. Likely not. Some will. Some will rebuild. But I will tell you that the majority most likely won’t. Even though they’ll say today they are, and that’s an easy thing to say, at the end of the day, they probably won’t. Ben, you’re calling in. Go ahead, sir.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, you know, I wanted to go over a couple things I heard on these fires in L.A. Sure. Which I’m tuning in. But my comments, and I’ve got a couple on that constitutional thing as well, but I heard some of these people in L.A., you know, they always put together a team of police firefighters, which I’m sure they’re doing the best they can with whatever water they’ve got. But regardless, they said, you know… We want to open up part of our county so when you start rebuilding or you need paperwork, certificates, and IDs, we want to be a one-stop shop, and we realize it’s our job to get out of the way. And I’m thinking, that was your job all along.
SPEAKER 10 :
Exactly. It’s funny, when you say that, and I saw some of those same reports, Ben, I thought to myself, you know what? You and every other county in America should be doing the same thing.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, that’s your job, government, is to facilitate the things we, the public, want, not what you want us to want.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah. And the other thing is, this guy doing the John Eastman on the Constitution, I think it should be mandatory for everybody in America, the free world and the non-free world, to go over that information. To watch it, yeah. And if you don’t know about our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist Papers, the Declaration of Independence, who is giving you a diploma and for what? Even for basket weaving, you know?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, as you know, Ben, we’ve got a sponsor trying to help young kids learn how to read because the literacy rates are so low. I mean, the reality is the average high schooler can’t read past about a 7th or 8th grade level.
SPEAKER 03 :
And the dumber the people, the easier it is to make laws and rules so they’ll comply.
SPEAKER 10 :
You got it.
SPEAKER 03 :
And that dog just don’t hunt.
SPEAKER 10 :
I don’t know what they’re— Well, and I think, Ben, to your point also, though, it doesn’t hunt because this last election proved that people are fed up. They’re tired of all that nonsense. They’re tired of all the wokeness. Men are tired of being put down, and they want to change.
SPEAKER 03 :
And I wanted to comment briefly on that. And I appreciate and applaud anybody— that fought through the issues and voted for Trump. And by the way, if you’re not for Trump, you’re kind of, in my book, you’re kind of against the Constitution, the freedoms, the things that were fought for to make this country, to make the middle class. You’re sort of voting against that. You were with Obama, with Biden, with Harris. And I don’t want to insult anybody, but I would say this. at a certain point, you’ve got to wonder about the mental acuity of people that
SPEAKER 10 :
But it kind of goes back, Ben, to our initial conversation on the whole Constitution, the understanding of or not, and all of that, because I’m with you. I look at it as you may or may not like Trump, but you’re either voting for freedom or you’re not. I mean, the reality of voting for Trump, in my opinion, is just that. Do you want freedom or do you want oppression? Because the reality is you’re going to get one or the other when this is all said and done.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, and me personally… I like the way he thinks, even if I didn’t like who he was.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, Ben, you’ve heard me many a time on this program, and I’ll do this over the next four years. I love the guy. I think he’s done a lot for the country. There’s some things he and I disagree on, and I’ll point those things out accordingly. But all in all, was there any other choice of who to vote for? Absolutely not. And he was the top person to vote for, period, no matter what, just because of what he’ll do for the country.
SPEAKER 03 :
I agree. He checked so many boxes. And again, anybody that took the time to think it through… And by the way, I don’t want to put too fine a point on it, but if you even voted for Obama the first time, much less the second time, you know, this crap we’ve gotten ourselves into started. There was a bigger kickoff. It’s been coming along for probably a half a century or more.
SPEAKER 10 :
No, but that really started, that jump started it.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, Obama, it’s like, this is communism in America 2.0. You’re right. And Biden was 3.0. No, no, Ben, you’re correct.
SPEAKER 10 :
Obama really jump started that whole, well, he fundamentally wanted to change America, and he started that whole process.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, and when he was running, I was in downtown Denver when he was giving one of his speeches. And I’ll tell you, man, you could feel it. It was kind of like you’ve seen speeches of Hitler, you know, revving the crowd up. I mean, I was starting to get pulled into it. I’m like, well, maybe this guy’s really got something going on. And then when he won, I was in this bar, restaurant, whatever. And this girl goes, isn’t it great? We’re going to have this, that, and the other thing. And I looked at her and I said, who’s going to pay for it? Right. You? Right. She kind of got big-eyed. And the whole bar stopped. And they looked at me, and I, you know, like, you’re the enemy. And I looked at them all. I was lucky I didn’t get in a fight. And I said, you’re stupid, you’re stupid, you’re stupid, you’re stupid, and you’re all going to pay for this. And I did it to like 12 people. I’m surprised somebody didn’t. Yeah, I am too.
SPEAKER 10 :
But you were correct. They were not very wise in their thought process, and it did cost us dearly, and it still is. Ben, I’ve got to run to a break. Thank you, man. I appreciate your call very much. And David Strazeski is going to join us, Sound Planning Group. He talks about how Bank of America was using XRP for $100. or sorry, for hundreds of their internal traction or sorry, 100 percent, not 100, 100 percent of their internal tractions, transactions, I should say, on a daily basis. We’ll talk to him exactly what all that means and the risk factor and so on. He wrote a big article on it that is literally blown up. And I appreciate we’ve had David on many, many times in the past. So we’ll have him on first and talk a little bit about fact checking in this next hour as well. So don’t go anywhere. Hour number two is next. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 14 :
I’m a rich guy.
