The conversation dives deep into media’s impact on public perception and the essential role of staying grounded in truth. Through scriptural reflections, Barbara encourages listeners to focus not on the temporary concerns of this world but to rest in the eternal promise of divine provision. An exploration of Revelation and a reminder of God’s unwavering sovereignty provide hope and assurance that as battles rage, the ultimate victory belongs to the Lord.

SPEAKER 02 :
Welcome to Call to Freedom. Yes, you can call in. It’s Thursday. I’m live at one o’clock in the afternoon. And that number is 1-877-917-7256. And I’m so grateful that the name of the Lord, the name of the Lord is so important, folks. The name of the Lord. I capitalize that word name. The name of the Lord is a strong tower, a strong tower. Just think of yourself in isolated, I should say insulated by God with his arms around you. Just think of that. He’s a strong tower. The righteous run to it and they’re safe. That’s Proverbs 18, 10. I’m so grateful that the Lord is continually either sending his angels to you. They are all ministering servants sent to do service for you. Because you have been born again. And you can find that in Hebrews 1, verse 14. And we know that the angels are there for us. God is there for us. Holy Spirit is always there. Every minute by minute, he is directing someone to keep us safe. I’m so grateful in this chaotic time that we live in. Remember, President Trump’s birthday is June the 14th, Flag Day. And so remember him in prayer. I know there are so many things to pray for, but that would be a good day to really focus on President Trump. Just such a wonderful. time that we are in. Boy, we’ve had such difficult times. When you think of the four years before President Trump took over, oh my goodness, it was only through Holy Spirit that we got through that victoriously. Yes, victoriously. We have our meeting this Saturday, June the 14th, and we’re going to have a really good time. We’re going to put together tacos and and have some songs of praise and worship to the Lord Jesus. And thank you for calling me by Friday noon. I really appreciate that, because I need to get the things for the tacos. And if you call me late Friday, there’s no time for me to go to the grocery store again. So call me by Friday noon. And join us on Saturday by calling 1-877-7000. 917-7256. God bless you. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday. From the American Center of Law and Justice, I haven’t talked about them for a while, but boy, they’re busy, all the time busy. We had a huge victory, even as we await the Supreme Court’s decision on a major case impacting rogue judges. And that’s been a real thorn in the flesh of the Trump administration. I mean, these federal judges, they are just regional, but they think they’ve got the authority to pass laws, which they don’t really. And so American Center for Law and Justice has been really working hard. A federal court just agreed with our amicus brief on one of President Trump’s executive orders, a tremendous victory against the radical left’s attacks on the conservative agenda. Rogue judges have issued more nationwide injunctions against President Trump than all other presidents combined. All right? This has been a real rush to… to defeat him. That’s it. And to make this country run by socialism. And if you don’t think that you’ve had a good time before, you just wait. If these people take over, they’re going to be like a communist nation like Russia. So thank you for praying for our president and the administration and these wonderful people that are fighting for our freedom and fighting for the Constitution. The ACLJ goes on to say, thankfully, this court agreed with us and did not issue a nationwide injunction, but instead upheld the president’s constitutional executive authority. The left’s handpicked judges are causing and that’s Obama and that is Biden. And these are judges that have been handpicked. And I know that Biden, now whether he used an auto pen, whether they were using an auto pen, or I don’t know what they were using, but 300, he appointed 300 judges throughout the United States. And that’s what’s giving them such a hard time, the Trump administration. The left’s handpicked judges are causing a constitutional crisis, but we’re fighting back to save our constitutional republic. We have already filed seven briefs in five federal courts. Now, there are courts all over our land, and can you imagine how many it would take? They have filed seven briefs against the outrageous lawsuits being leveled at President Trump. We also recently filed in one of the biggest Supreme Court cases in years representing the state of West Virginia. It could permanently shut down the malicious attacks on President Trump and the epidemic of judicial activist nationwide injunctions, blocking every action he takes. But we face a major challenge. A Supreme Court fight of this magnitude to defeat the radical left’s lawsuits requires immense resources. Oh, God bless them. As we fight at Supreme Court, we urgently need your tax-deductible support today. And this is probably one of the most important issues you could give to right now. American Center for Law and Justice. And you go to ACLJ.org. And you donate today. You donate. I don’t… You know, if it’s a dollar, if it’s five dollars, when you get a thousand people together, that really begins to amount to something. And then sign the new petition, defend President Trump at SCOTUS. And that’s the Supreme Court. And thank you so much, Jay and Jordan Sekulow. from the ACLJ. We continue to pray for you. On Monday, I told you that I was not going to get involved in any sides when it came to President Trump and Elon Musk. And I think that the media does such damage. They blow up things. I know Rachel and I were just talking about, they’re talking about riots. Well, there was a riot in LA and possibly in New York City. But the rest of this stuff going on in Denver and the area in Chicago, these are demonstrations. And I don’t see any cars burning here in Denver and Aurora, but I do see demonstrations downtown. And Rachel was saying they’re also in Aurora. So whatever, I think the media just loves to blow it out of proportions. And that’s been part of the problem all along, just blowing everything up into a place where people get agitated. So, you know, I like both President Trump and Elon Musk. I think they’re doing such a great, great job. I mean, Elon being the richest man and President Trump being the most powerful man. I compared their relationship to many that I’ve had over the years. Some relationships wound up in true respect and commitment. I’ve had relationships that I’ve had for over 20 years, and I just love those relationships. Other relationships just have coasted along and some have disappeared. It does not mean that there was anything negative about those friendships that came to naught. N-A-U-G-H-T. It’s an old English word I use here. And as my German grandmother would say, nicht. It means nothing. Some of these have been just, you know, fly by night relationships or acquaintances that we’ve had not seen him again. It simply means that the seasons of some of those relationships were very short, while relationships that have lasted for were more those who God wanted me to learn from. And I have friends close by me who love the Lord Jesus. They’re growing up in the word of God. They’re memorizing the word of God. Oh, I love to talk to them. Because I get the word when I text them or when I talk to them, I get the word. And I love that. I’m so grateful for everyone that came alongside, even those that didn’t last as long as I would have wished. I believe that our prayers have resulted in two powerful men getting along and respecting each other. And that’s all I’m concerned about right now. There’s real healing in God’s actions as we pray. God goes to action. You know, it’s time to act, Lord. Well, he does when we pray in that direction. I’m going to be talking more about that. Memory verse for this week is 3 John 2. A blessing. What a blessing. Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health. That’s my prayer for you. just as your soul prospers. For I was very glad when brethren came and testified to your truth. That is how you are walking in truth. I hope you are not going on Instagram and Facebook and just believing everything that comes on there. I hope you’re looking into and investigating and researching and seeing that something is true before you blab it all over. That’s so important that we’re walking in truth. And in the New Living Translation, 3 John 2 says, Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. Some of the traveling teachers recently returned and made me very happy by telling me about your faithfulness and that you are living according to the truth. I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth. And John, precious John, they… They left him on the Isle of Patmos thinking, well, that’s going to be the end of John because he had written these beautiful books. He was a wonderful, wonderful friend and leader in the Christian church in those days. I heard from David Jeremiah that they actually tried to boil him alive in oil. I haven’t researched that yet, but my goodness, it’s just amazing. So they throw him off on this island. And what happens? God reveals the most wonderful revelation, the revelation of revelation that is soon going to come on all of us. And it’s the end of history. It’s the end of the ages. And here is John deserted on an island and gone. God reveals his majesty and his power in all its might. Oh, this is wonderful. That’s how God, you can’t cancel out God. You can’t. There’s no way. I know people have tried it for centuries and centuries. Well, we’re going to get rid of him. No, never, never. He’s forever and ever. Aren’t you thankful? I so enjoyed Kimberly’s teaching yesterday, and I believe we, as the body of Christ Jesus, should talk more and more about what God means to us. And as she said on the air, he’s a wonderful God, a God full of wonder. And I would like to stay in that attitude all the time. There are times when the atmosphere and conditions merit another look at how we should pray about the situation. You know, take the L.A. demonstrations and, okay, riots right now. They’ve burned cars. They’ve looted buildings. And I’m so glad the National Guard and the Marines are there. Last night I tuned in just a little bit and they were on horseback. I love to see that horseback going through the streets of L.A. And some of you may say, well, that doesn’t affect me. Then you haven’t been downtown Denver and seen the demonstrations there. It would be coming at a street where you live. It will be if you don’t do anything about it in prayer and in specific requests to God. Is that scary to you? The word is full of scripture that covers the enemy that someday will surround Israel. That’s ground zero on this earth. That’s God’s ground zero. Then what do we do? Well, I personally believe that we will no longer be here. If you read 2 Thessalonians 2, you will see why I believe that we will be taken up before God’s wrath will be poured out on the wicked. And those days, those seven years, are God’s wrath. Boy, we ain’t seen nothing yet. We have not. And Isaiah said it so succinctly in Isaiah 59, verse 19. And it comes out really well in the Passion and also the Amplified. When the enemy comes in like a flood. Sometimes it seems like a flood of like, if you watch the news, protesters, I mean, throwing rocks, actually breaking up the concrete and throwing the concrete at the cops and at the policemen. I mean, the enemy is just awful. Awful, awful, awful, horrible. When the enemy comes in like a flood, what? What happens? The Lord lifts up a standard against him. Who will lift up a standard against the enemy? Not you, not me. The Lord. The passion says that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the breath of Yahweh will put him to flight. Okay. Praise God. That scripture reminds me of James 4, 7. Submit to God, resist the devil, and all his distractions that will try to dismay you will try to get you all upset, and he will flee. When you just submit to God, Father God, I, as an act of my will, will concentrate on your word of love. Your word of refuge that you are my refuge and strength. I will not listen to the enemy and he’ll flee. God wants you to be so attuned to his heart and a brief moment of temptation or distraction will not make you fearful or intimidated by his threats and fiery darts. That’s right. God is greater than our hearts, and he will protect us from those harmful gamma rays of the enemy. And he thinks he’s got it won. Oh, he does not have the war won. In heavenly armor, we enter the land, the promised land. The battle belongs to the Lord. We’ve got to remember that. He raised up a banner, the power of his word. The battle belongs to God. He defeated Satan at every turn. when the enemy was trying to destroy Jesus. For centuries, the Lord found a way to thwart the enemy’s tactics, to get rid of the Messiah, because he couldn’t, because greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. That’s 1 John 4, 4. Say that often. Say that often when you’re down or when you feel threatened. Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. In Hebrews 1, 1 through 4, and I love the New American Standard here, It talks about Jesus and how his radiance just fills and floods the earth. God, after he spoke long ago to the fathers and the prophets in many portions and in many ways, this is Hebrews 1, in these last days has spoken to us in his son. whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the world. Jesus was there at the very beginning, folks, and he is the radiance of his glory. Jesus radiates God’s glory all over. Oh, I hope that you see part of that today. Oh, some of you are just standing right in the middle of his radiation, of his radiance. He’s the exact representation of his nature and upholds all things by the word of his power. His power is word filled. And so when you speak the word, it’s going to be effective in every area of your life. I pray that you will become conscious of the word that you are reading and begin to memorize. Get that word down in your heart. When he had made purification of sins, he sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels as he has inherited a more excellent name than they. That’s what we’ve got on our side. The Lord God, strong and mighty. It is the Lord’s joy and delight to include us in his life. Oh, and as Kimberly said, awaken us to your wonder. His joy is a supernatural and powerful substance that increases as we keep our mind and affections on things above. Colossians 3 verse 2 says, set your mind on things above and not on things in this earth. You know why? Because the things on this earth are temporary. I mean, you might be really concerned and worried about something today and it’s gone tomorrow. That’s what happens. It’s like my weeds that I whack. They’re here today. They’re gone tomorrow. And they come back up, yeah, but then they’re gone again. We’ve talked at length about this joy in the past, so I won’t go into much detail here. But Nehemiah 8.10 says this very thing that we need more of God. And as Kimberly says, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send and share portions to those… And do not grieve for this day is holy to our Lord for the joy of the Lord is your strength. So eat the fat, drink the sweet and share with others. Do not grieve. Do not grieve, folks, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Praise God. Isaiah 1027 says the anointing removes the burdens and breaks the yoke of bondage. As we rest in his divine provision and sovereignty, we will give him all the glory and honor for what he’s doing in our land and all over the world in preparing for the return of Jesus. And that’s what this is all about, to fulfill scripture and prepare for Jesus’ second coming. We might as well start practicing resting in him now, resting in him while he goes to battle and fights for us. Have you noticed in the spite of our very best efforts and striving to make the best decisions in this life, there’s never any guarantee that life will work out smoothly. Oh, so you give it to the Lord. You cast all your care on him because he cares for you. And remember that the battle belongs to the Lord.
SPEAKER 05 :
The battle belongs to the Lord When mankind’s passion against us will stand The battle belongs to the Lord We sing glory, honor, power, and strength to our Lord. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord. When the power of darkness comes in like a flood, The battle belongs to the Lord. His grace on the standard, the power of His blood. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord. Enemy quest is in part to not fear The battle belongs to the Lord Take courage, my friend, your redemption is near
SPEAKER 03 :
Okay, now I’d like to sing that verse one more time because there’s lots of times when we feel like the enemy presses in real hard. Everybody goes through it. We have to have courage that the Lord is fighting the battle for us. He’ll pull us out of the darkness if we just trust in Him. So let’s sing that verse once more.
SPEAKER 05 :
When your enemy presses in hard to not hear, belongs to the Lord. Encourage, my friend, your redemption is near. The battle belongs to the Lord. We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord.
SPEAKER 1 :
We sing glory, honor, Glory. Hallelujah. The paddle belongs to the Lord The paddle belongs to the Lord The paddle belongs to the Lord
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh, praise God. There are some songs you just wish they could go on and on and on and on. Oh, take courage, my friend. Your redemption is near. Oh, the battle belongs to the Lord. Power and strength to the Lord. Revelation 5 tells us, Then I looked, and this is John, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands. saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb, be blessing and honor. Oh, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing. Oh, we’re just in a temporal world, my friend. So don’t get worried. Don’t get oppressed. Don’t get discouraged. Don’t get depressed. It’s just not worth it letting your anxiety take over in your life. Oh, look to God. The battle belongs to the Lord. And every created thing which is in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea and all things in them. I heard saying to him who sits on the throne and to the lamb, be blessings and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever. And the four living creatures kept saying, Amen, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshiped. That’s the end of chapter 5 of Revelation. And then it goes into opening the books of the seal. But remember, don’t overlook that God is in command of all this. We get into such prophetic stuff that we neglect to think that God is ruler over all of this. Our creator, God, is the one that says it is finished. And when he says it is finished, Jesus will come. Read chapter 19 of Revelation. It’s marvelous. It’s wonderful. It will get you so energized, full of joy. Oh, so eat the fat, drink the sweet, share with others. Do not grieve, my friend. For the joy of the Lord is your strength. God bless you and keep you. And tomorrow, Darren and I will be on the radio. Oh, thank you so much for listening. And may God, the God of peace, be with you. Take joy.
