From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher Show. Sitting in for Mike today, here’s Joey Hudson.
SPEAKER 15 :
Welcome in on this Friday edition of the Mike Gallagher Show. Yes, I’m Joey Hudson sitting in for Mike. It seems that Chuck Schumer’s government shutdown has had its effect on the Mike Gallagher Show as Mike is trying to travel up to Chicago for the big event tonight. Wasn’t quite able to make the flights work because of some delays and various things, and we’ll kind of get into that. I’ll give you more details on that in just a minute. But I’m happy to be with you on this Friday, day 38 of the shutdown. Can you believe this? If anyone had told me back on October the 1st when they were all blustery about shutting down the government that this would have gone on for 38 days and probably longer, I would have said you’re crazy. This is just a political tactic that they pull from time and time again. And it happens a day or two, a week maybe, maybe two weeks. But now for over a month, and it is just really starting to affect people’s daily lives. If you’re a traveler, you know exactly what I’m talking about. As Mike found out, it’s tough. There are hundreds and hundreds of flights delayed, hundreds and hundreds of flights being canceled. So if you’re planning to travel anytime soon, you may want to double-check your plans there. And we’re going to get into a little more detail there. We have some of the latest from the FAA and from the airlines themselves. We’ll share that with you a little bit later. But now, as we’re talking about day 38 of the shutdown, the House has not been in session for 49 days now. Now, I’m not being critical of the House. They did their job. But 49 days, they’ve been back in their districts visiting. I’ve seen a number of the congressmen in my area, more than I ever have, it seems like, at different events, town halls and that type of thing. The Senate, of course, expected to vote possibly again today. This would be, I think, their 15th time. But there’s no… No one believes that they’re going to get anywhere even today. One of my favorite senators, John Kennedy, says he doesn’t think there’s a chance anything is going to happen, that they’re nowhere closer to getting to where they need to be. This is Senator John Kennedy.
SPEAKER 14 :
Most members of the Senate are running around like ants in a sugar bowl, like a bunch of headless chickens. But in my opinion, we’re nowhere near it. getting out of this shutdown. The Democrats, supposedly, we were told today at lunch that we’re going to have a vote tomorrow and that the so-called moderate Democrats have come together and they’re going to support us. I think they’re still stamping their noble feet. I don’t believe they will support us. And I’ve never believed any of this stuff. Around here, it’s not what you say, it’s what you do that shows what you believe, and everything else is just cottage cheese. I think we’re going to be shut down at least 10 more days, maybe two weeks, maybe longer than that.
SPEAKER 15 :
And if his prediction is accurate, another 10 days or so, folks, we’re going to really start feeling the effects of this. And think about heading into Thanksgiving thinking, And depending on a certain flight to go home to see Grandma, it’s probably not going to happen. It’s kind of interesting as the airlines are scrambling around to try to make this all work. Most are trying to be optimistic. I personally prefer Delta. But I was just reading various responses from the airports. Delta says they’re going to try to minimize it. They’re going to do the best they can to keep things on track. American Airlines kind of said the same thing, United. But I thought it was kind of interesting that Frontier Airlines, known to be sort of a discount airlines, Frontier was very up front with it. Frontier said, hey, you may want to buy another ticket on another airline as a backup. Now, who’s going to do that? Who’s going to buy a ticket, let’s just say, on Delta? I’m sorry, on Frontier, but buy one on Delta, too, just in case Frontier doesn’t take off. I mean, who does that? But this is the situation we’re in, folks. And this is where people are going to be affected by it who maybe up until now haven’t even paid attention to it. And that’s kind of how a government shutdown is. You go into this, and the majority of people, if you’re not a federal worker and you’re not missing a paycheck, then you don’t necessarily know the government shutdown. Unless, of course, you need something. You need to call one of the agencies and get something done. Maybe you need to call the IRS. I wonder how that’s going to work. For people who had questions for the IRS, maybe tax deadlines, and they missed those because they couldn’t reach the IRS. Do they get some type of dispensation? I mean, is the IRS a little more lenient on those type things? A lot of questions. And, again, we’re in a territory we’ve never been in because this is the longest shutdown in our nation’s history. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Your phone calls are welcome. Your texts are welcome on the MyPillow text line. Help me out here. Help me to understand this. By the way, here’s what I really need your help on. A federal judge yesterday says that the Trump administration has to pay SNAP benefits in November. They’re mandating. that the administration pays SNAP. Now, we know that there’s no money there for SNAP. In one case, they said, well, you’ve got to take some of the reserves. The Trump administration responded by saying, well, we’ll do some partial payments. Well, no, the judge is coming back and saying, you can’t do partial payments. You’ve got to pay the full benefit in November. If the government doesn’t have any money, how do they do that? 800-655-6453, 800-655-MIKE. I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike Gallagher today.

SPEAKER 15 :
Joey Hudson in for Mike today on the MyPillow text line. The texter says, hey, Joey, you need to start telling all of your listeners to call their congressmen and senators 60% off. Give out the phone number. Well, you do need to call your senator right now primarily. The House has done their job, although you can call them and let them know that we expect them to continue. But particularly those of you who live in a state who has a Democrat senator, I’m sorry for you, but call them. Let them know that you want the government shutdown to end, to get in there and do their job. Texter says, just a thought, instead of changing the rule eliminating the filibuster, why don’t they change the rule that you have to actually filibuster on the floor like it was done years ago instead of just stating we are filibustering? Well, you know, it is kind of odd, isn’t it, because… Years ago, filibuster meant that you had to keep the floor. You had to keep talking. My longtime senator from South Carolina, Strom Thurmond, at one point had the record for the longest filibuster in the U.S. Senate. He literally read from the phone book at times. But you’re right. I mean, it’s really, they just say we’re filibustering and nobody’s talking. They’re going to their cocktail receptions, and life is good. Texter, the Democrats don’t fundraise. They steal and launder through NGOs. Texter, I think people are naive if they think Democrats won’t go nuclear if they get back in control. If we don’t do it first, we’re going to lose America because no voting laws will change. They’ll continue to cheat, and they’ll be in power again. You know, I honestly don’t know the solution here because we’re just at a stalemate. We’re more divided than ever. When Nancy Pelosi announced yesterday she’s retiring, I’m thinking, thank goodness. Good riddance, because people like Nancy Pelosi have done more to divide our country than ever before. And she’s a prime example. She’s the poster child of term limits. No way should somebody spend four decades in the U.S. House of Representatives. No way. 800-655-6453, 800-655-MIKE. Let’s go back to the phones. Tom is in Philadelphia. Welcome, Tom. How are you?
SPEAKER 16 :
Hi, Joey. How are you?
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m wonderful. What’s on your mind today?
SPEAKER 16 :
Thanks for filling in for Mike. You do a great job.
SPEAKER 15 :
Thank you, sir.
SPEAKER 16 :
So I’ll get to the point. I think that the Republicans have got to just go nuclear. We have to get rid of the filibuster, okay? I don’t even know why it’s there in the first place. And I don’t like – what is the point of having a Senate majority leader – If, you know, I mean, we get all excited about winning the majority in the Senate. If you have to, you know, have 60 to get anything done, I mean, what’s the advantage of having, you know, 50 even? You know, it’s kind of silly. And it seems to me that our founding fathers built in a system of checks and balances so that, You know, one party, you know, or one branch of government can’t take advantage of the others. So why not, you know, why do the Republicans worry about, oh, well, you know, this is going to happen, you know, the next election, you know, if the Democrats take control? The answer to the problem is win elections. And if they just blow up the filibuster, go nuclear, allow Trump to get stuff done, and really prove to the people of America that a government that comes through and does what it says it’s going to do really can get things done, then you’ll win the next election. Why are we worried about losing? Get stuff done, and let’s move forward. Have some courage. You know what? If you if you if you get all the things done that you say you’re going to do and you still lose the election, well, maybe you weren’t working on the right things.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 16 :
Let’s let’s win elections and, you know, let’s.
SPEAKER 15 :
um you know take advantage of the majority if you have a majority i just you know i think the full filibuster thing is a bunch of nonsense i don’t know how long it’s been around but i they got to get rid of it it’s just stupid it’s it’s been part of the rules for for a while uh we at one point we did eliminate it but but we reinstated it and i think the big problem tom is people are just concerned about well you know if the democrats have a narrow majority say 51 uh what they would would do with that how they would abuse it uh but you’re right it’s kind of not working as it is now is it 800-655-MIKE 800-655-6453 coming up bernie sanders has been hot and cold on the filibuster when we return i’m going to share with you some words from bernie sanders back in 2022 versus what he’s saying today uh spoiler alert he flip-flops i’m joey hudson in for mike that i forget yes yes all right so let’s let’s go back let’s go back to the phones uh let’s go to uh kathleen kathleen welcome you’re on the mike gallagher show yeah um this government shutdown is just it’s just insane and i think of the democrats as rats on a ship and they
SPEAKER 10 :
I mean, it’s stupid. People not getting paid. I’m on food stamps, and I can’t. I mean, I’m not going to have a very good Thanksgiving.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, you know, a lot of people are not going to have a good Thanksgiving for various reasons, Kathleen. You’re right. And to me, you know, I sit here, and I watch this, and I hear these things, and it’s like they’re just all so selfish, aren’t they?
SPEAKER 10 :
Very much. Very much so. Why should they get paid? Excuse me. Why should they get paid for doing nothing?
SPEAKER 15 :
Exactly. Well, and these are men and women who supposedly are leaders. They’re servants. They’re our servants. But yet their actions right now are anything but that. And, you know, it’s time for them to sit down. It’s time for Chuck Schumer, John Thune, anybody else that’s considered leadership from both parties to sit down and work this out. I mean, time’s up. Enough is enough. had a great idea. He said, let’s have a meeting of the Senate leadership, the House leadership, and President Trump in the Oval Office and stream it so all Americans can watch it and we can see how the negotiations go on. I think that’s a pretty good idea, don’t you?
SPEAKER 10 :
I think that is a great idea.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah. And, hey, Kathleen, you’re in Pennsylvania, right?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I am.
SPEAKER 15 :
So are you proud of John Fetterman because he seems to hang in there to realize we’ve got to get something done?
SPEAKER 10 :
I can’t believe John Fetterman. I am proud of him.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, as you should be. Appreciate your call, Kathleen. 800-655-6453. One line open. Jim is in Michigan. Welcome, Jim. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, the filibuster has already been done away with when they’re not talking on the floor and keeping it going that way. So actually it’s not even a filibuster no more, so… nuclearizing that isn’t going to make no difference because it’s already gone.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah. Well, you know, it’s not the old-time filibuster to whether you actually have to keep the floor and keep talking or you relieve the floor to someone else. It’s games. That’s the bottom line. These are political games, and we’re seeing a bunch of adults who are acting like children. Speaking of the filibuster, Bernie Sanders, back in 2022, during a very similar situation, he angrily demanded to put an end to the filibuster. He said, we have to do this, and cut number eight, we have to do this to save the American democracy. Well, let’s be clear.
SPEAKER 17 :
This enormously important bill… a bill to protect the foundations of American democracy will fail. It will fail because, according to Senate rules, It will require 60 votes to pass. And in a 50-50 Senate, not one Republican will vote for it. My Republican colleagues who are so adamantly against changing rules, well, my goodness, they changed the Senate rules to allow 50 votes to confirm the president’s nominees to the Supreme Court. Oh my goodness, how shocking. Rules get changed around here all of the time. And maybe, just maybe, we might want to change the rules in order to save American democracy.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, that seems reasonable. That’s kind of the situation we’re in right now, aren’t we? Maybe we need to change the rules. Well, Senator Bernie Sanders, fast forward 2025, has a little bit of a different attitude.
SPEAKER 18 :
The Republicans understand that the filibuster is an important part of what the Senate is. Well, I think right now we should maintain the filibuster.
SPEAKER 15 :
Maintain the filibuster. That’s what the Democrat or the independent senator from Vermont says now. Interesting how quickly things can change, isn’t it? 800-655-6453. Back to the phones. Morgan is in Georgia. Welcome, Morgan. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 08 :
Hey, how are you doing? Yeah, I mean, I think that, you know, we have a lot of issues in America, but I think we have people in the government that hate this country. And, I mean, it’s pretty obvious, you know. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib. I mean, we have several others. And I think that a house divided like that cannot stand. You know, you’ve got people in there that want to turn our country and where they came from. And my thinking is, why would you even want to come here if that’s what you want? Because that’s what you had before you came to America. So anyway, I think that, you know, we have a two-party system. which to me is like two wolves in a sheep voting on what’s for dinner, honestly. I just think the two-party system’s not working. You’ve got people that are Republicans, and then they turn out to be rhinos, and they flip, and they go with the Democrats. That’s not good. That’s not good politics. I think that a lot of people expect the government to pay for everything, and I just don’t think the government should pay for everything. I think that the majority of what the government should do is you know, work out things that the American people can’t. A lot of things should be left in the states’ hands.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yep, yep. Bingo, Morgan. You just said it, Morgan. The government can’t be everything to everybody, and that’s the problem we have put ourselves in. Everybody depends on and relies on the government, and that’s how the Democrats want it, though. That’s how they think that they’re getting votes, is, hey, we’ll give them everything. We’ll continue the subsidies for Obamacare. Now, you do understand that this whole debate over Obamacare is not to eliminate Obamacare. It’s to eliminate the heavy subsidies that were instituted during COVID. And, by the way, the Democrats agreed then that they would sunset those at the end of this year. Suddenly – The whole world’s falling apart. There’s a crisis because they’re about to go away. It didn’t sneak up on us. We knew from the beginning that they were going to expire at the end of this year. But it’s just another example of the Democrats not being concerned about our country. Sanders talking about, well, you know, we’ve got to protect the democracy. Well, if you want to protect our country, don’t spend us into bankruptcy. And that’s what he’s doing. And Morgan hit the nail on the head, as we say here in South Carolina. The government can’t be expected to provide everything to everybody. You’ve got to get out and work. You’ve got to get out and provide for yourselves. And we have too many people on some type of government payroll right now. There’s been a lot of discussion about SNAP. Well, look, there are a lot of people who are getting SNAP benefits who should not get SNAP benefits. Period. Period. So now’s a good time to really dig in and look at those programs and start cutting them. We’re never going to balance the budget if we keep spending the way we are and keep adding to it. We’re never going to get back into being fiscally responsible with our country’s future, our children and our grandchildren’s future. I mean, think about, did you ever think that our country would be in debt like we are today? That our interest payments alone are just astronomical? We can’t keep doing that, folks. 800-655-6453, 800-655-MIKE. You can call. We’ll put you in the queue and talk when we can. You can text me on the MyPillow text line. SPEAKER 05 :
Well, happy Friday, and welcome to Chicago, where it is crisp and sunny and temperatures in the high 50s, and I’m getting ready for tomorrow’s Freedom Summit, and I barely made it into Chi-town. Joey Hudson, you’re in the chair today in the main studios. You were gracious enough to pop in at the last minute because of my travel nightmare. Getting into Chicago. Thanks. Thanks, Senator Schumer. Thanks, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries. Thanks, Democrats, for the shutdown that is leading to all kinds of travel nightmares. And just as I feared, I had a real hard time last night. Joey, I don’t think I do real well getting in at one thirty in the morning in Chicago and then getting up and doing the show again. So thanks for thanks for pinch hitting at the last minute.
SPEAKER 15 :
Always a pleasure to jump in, Mike. And I guess the government shutdown was really real for Mike Gallagher today, huh?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, it is, and it’s going to be impacting a lot of people who fly this week and next week as well. In fact, the airline representative who was working with me last night, I was supposed to fly into Chicago last night and do the show from the studios of AM560, The Answer, and our apologies to the team there for putting the studio all together for us and having us get ready, and the flight was fantastic. One hour delayed last night, two hours, four hours, five hours, and finally the lady said, look, you just ought to start over, get going at the crack of dawn Friday morning, get into Chicago so you’re there safe and sound, and that’s what we wound up doing. But the representative told me they feel like it’s going to get worse. Today there was a list of airports that are going to be experiencing at least a 10% reduction in flights. tons of delays. It was interesting this morning, Joey, going through in the airport, how all the passengers were thanking the TSA agents for working, because they’re working without a paycheck. And it was nice. It was kind of gratifying to see people go out of their ways, myself included, to thank those men and women for TSA for working without a paycheck. But Look, I thought this thing would come to an end real quickly after Tuesday’s election. Evidently, it’s going to take a little bit longer. I know you’ve got a lot planned for this hour, and I don’t want to take up your time, Joey, but just a big thank you to all the folks at AM560, The Answer, for making us so welcome for tomorrow’s Freedom Summit. Joey, I wish you could be here for this. Scott Jennings. Dr. Ben Carson, of course, Dan Prof, Sean Thompson and I are going to be doing an event together, I think at about 1.15. It’s a day-long event over at the Westin in Itasca. So for tickets, 560theanswer.com. There are still some remaining for tomorrow’s big Freedom Summit 2025, which has become a real popular annual event. I’m real honored and humbled to be a part of it this year, and I can’t wait to meet everybody in person. And I’m glad I made it, and I’m glad you’re in the chair to fill in for me today, Joey. Thank you very much.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, it’s always fun to sit in and talk with the Mike Gallagher Show listeners. So it’s another free speech Friday. We’re having a great time. Sorry you had a tough time. And, hey, look, I’ll be standing by for Monday in case you have trouble getting back home.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, that’ll be the next challenge because we’ve got to go to Chicago to New York, and that may be a real adventure. So, yeah, don’t pack your bags yet. Stay close to home, okay?
SPEAKER 15 :
Be safe, my friend, yes.
SPEAKER 04 :
Thanks, Joey. I appreciate it. See you soon. Keep fighting the good fight.
SPEAKER 15 :
Sure thing. Mike Gallagher making his way to Chicago for the big Freedom Fest there at AM560, The Answer. You know, we were told. Earlier this week, Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy told us that the implementation of this 10% reduction in capacity would be starting. It starts today with 4%, 5% tomorrow, 6% on Sunday, with the additional for the full 10% sometime later this week. But earlier this week, here’s what Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy told us about what to expect.
SPEAKER 13 :
There is going to be a 10% reduction in capacity at 40 of our locations. The administrator is going to tell you that this is data-based. This is not based on what airline travels, has more flights out of what location. This is about where is the pressure and how do we alleviate the pressure.
SPEAKER 15 :
And that pressure is becoming a pressure cooker for sure. As we’ve seen, over 800 flights canceled, we’re told, yesterday before this even started. It even took effect. Thousands more delayed to some degree. So, again, it’s going to be tough as you make your way around the country, particularly if you’re flying through one of the bigger cities, one of the hubs, because those that are affected the most right now, of course, JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, that whole northeast corridor there, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. I mean, you know, I can’t leave the upstate of South Carolina and go anywhere without going through Atlanta. And Chicago, where Mike is now, and LAX, Boston, Logan, Denver, some of the big ones are being affected. And, you know, some of you have texted, you’ve emailed, you’ve called, and we’re going to talk a little about this with ideas on why doesn’t the airlines not just pay – these air traffic controllers to keep things going smoothly. I mean, how much money will the airlines lose as a result of these canceled flights? Could they not step in and maybe pay these air traffic controllers and TSA agents to keep the airports running the way they should be? If you are traveling, as Mike said… Kudos to a TSA agent. Pat them on the back. I don’t know if you can buy them coffee or anything, but let them know you appreciate them being there. Everybody involved that gets you in and out of an airport safely, let them know that you appreciate them working even though they haven’t been paid. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. I’m Joey Hudson. In for Mike.

SPEAKER 01 :
Generally, imaginary concerns are harmless until they become harmful. When they become the narrative, suddenly you will see Charlie Kirk again get shot and killed. Why? Because an amplified phony narrative made him Hitler. Why was why was Trump shot at? Same reason.
SPEAKER 03 :
So this is harmless for now. Here’s Mike on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network.
SPEAKER 15 :
Joey Hudson sitting in for Mike on the Mike Pillow text line. Texter writes, 15% to 25% of your ticket price is already taxes and fees that include theoretically paying for things like the FAA and air traffic controllers. Another texter says, Joey, you can’t depend on Congress. They haven’t been able to pass a budget since 1996. They’re not going to do one now. We’re going to CR after CR after CR. It’s ridiculous. You’re right, it is. Texter Airlines received a $54 billion bailout during COVID. The least they could do is pitch in to pay TSA and air traffic controllers during this shutdown. Your comments are welcome on the MyPillow text line as well. 800-655-6453. I saw a number yesterday as we head into the holidays. And look, if this shutdown continues, there’s going to be a lot of pain as far as holiday traveling. An estimate… that we will spend $1 trillion during the holiday season for gifts, for food, and travel, and various other things. A trillion dollars will be the first time. that we’ve ever spent this amount of money. According to the estimates, consumers will spend an average of $890.49 per person on holiday gifts, food, and decor, the highest in 23 years that they have been tracking this, and it could go even further. Some lost and had layoffs this week. Well, you’re right. Not all airlines did make money. not all airlines do make money. It’s kind of interesting. I was reading a report last night, and he was talking about all the response. For example, Delta was saying how they were handling things, and Delta was kind of downplaying it a bit, saying we’ve got the infrastructure to handle this, and yeah, there’ll be some delays and some cancellations, but we’re going to take care of our passengers. United, kind of the same. American, the same thing. But Frontier Airlines was very, very blunt. Frontier seemed to suggest that if you have a ticket on a Frontier flight, you might want to go to Plan B. You might want to go ahead and get a standby ticket for another airline. And I’m thinking, who’s going to do that? If I’m going to have to have a second airline ticket for another airline, in case Frontier doesn’t fly, why don’t I just go to the other airline to begin with? 800-655-6453. Back to the phones. Robert is in North Carolina. Welcome, Robert. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 11 :
Good morning, Joey. Thank you for taking my call. Sure thing. What’s on your mind? Vote Democrats out of office. They violated their oath and the Constitution, and they don’t believe in it. Why should we keep them? There’s no good reason. They must learn the hard way that there is a price. Elections and inaction and their actions have consequences, and they should be made to pay for this.
SPEAKER 15 :
Exactly. Hey, look, our lives would be a whole lot easier, Robert, if we just did it. My concern is this, though. And I’m going to be real honest with you here. I was surprised with the turnout on Tuesday. I was surprised that the Democrats did as well as they did in some key races. Now, some of my friends are saying, oh, you’re overreacting here. We got to look at what happened on Tuesday. How did we get to the point that New Yorkers elected a young socialist to be their mayor? Virginia, we didn’t pick that governor’s mansion. We didn’t pick that up or keep it, as we had thought. We didn’t pick up New Jersey. There were some real issues with the turnout on Tuesday and the results. Yes, he’s right. The caller’s right. We need to just – our problems would go away in the Senate if we had 60 Republicans. 60 true Republicans, 60 men or women who would really vote to help the president. But we don’t. We’ve got to figure out how to get there. Rita is in Nebraska. Welcome, Rita. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 12 :
Hi, Joey. Thanks for taking my call. Sure. All I need to say is, wake up, America. We know with the four years of Biden, the direction that our nation was heading towards, our country was being destroyed. And so… The Republicans that are against ending the filibuster would be a marvelous thing because Trump could get his agenda through. We could probably have some congressional reviews made where Trump could turn certain things into law because there would be a possibility that the Democrats could get back into office again and have the power. Now, I realize a lot of Republicans are afraid that if the Democrats get the power back, that then they won’t be able to have the filibuster. But they could, within Trump’s term, get the filibuster passed, get everything passed that Trump wants to do, which would set the country on the right track. And then before the next election, if the Republicans could stick together, they could then bring back the filibuster again in the event that maybe the Democrats would maybe get into office. But what people need to do, Joey, and what they don’t do, I am the only person on my street that is constantly calling my senators, my representatives, to tell them what I think and how upset I am. People in this country, if they don’t want, I mean, New York is a prime example of what could possibly be the future with Mandani. People need to get on the phone, call their representatives. Tell them, you know, eliminate the filibuster for now so Trump can get his agenda. And tell them what I’m telling my representatives here in Nebraska. If you don’t do what’s right and go along with the Trump agenda, which will put our country on the right track maybe for the next 20 or 30 years, then you better call your representatives and say, I’m not going to vote for you if you don’t go along with the Trump agenda.
SPEAKER 15 :
Rita, I couldn’t have said it better myself. We’ve got to put them on notice. They have to understand, Republicans and Democrats, that there are consequences to their votes. There are consequences to their actions. We sent them to Washington to do a job. We expect them to simply do it. I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike today.
