Join us as we uncover the truth behind the debunked story of Venezuelan drug runners and the arrest of the DC pipe bombing suspect. Celebrated broadcaster Mike Gallagher doesn’t shy away from asking the big questions; why is the Democrats’ strategy so perplexing, and what does it mean for the future of American politics? Amid this, we take a joyous moment to celebrate the success of the Angel Tree Christmas campaign, which exceeded its goal thanks to the overwhelming
SPEAKER 11 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, it turns out that the story of the double tap of the Venezuelan drug runners has been debunked. Last night, ABC’s Martha Raddatz confirms that the survivors of the initial drug boat were in communication with others to salvage the drugs that were still on the boat, even the Washington Post, and they’re all getting in on it now saying, well, maybe this was not correct. Do you ever get tired of being lied to? Do you ever get tired of hoax after hoax after hoax? They made an arrest of the D.C. pipe bombing suspect. Now, won’t that be fascinating to see who that’s going to be? I’ve seen a lot of online speculation that it might be a Capitol Police officer, a female. Now, if that’s true or not, I mean, we’re going to find out soon enough. I expect that the next announcement will be who it is. But, you know, just breaking today, the FBI has made an arrest. Remember the pipe bomber from January 5th, 2021, the night before the Capitol riots of January 6th? And in the fog of all of that, there was this weird story about this mysterious figure that had a hoodie on, a gray hoodie and mask and gloves and glasses carrying a backpack. Well, they got the suspect, which is good news, I guess. We’ll find out how that’s going to play out. Welcome aboard. We’ve got a lot to cover today. We’re in a state of absolute euphoria here around the offices and studios of the Mike Gallagher Show. You took us over our goal of our Angel Tree Christmas campaign last night. It happened about 9.16 p.m. Eastern Time. We now have well over 4,350 kids who are going to have Christmas because of you. All I can say is… Thank you. I am so profoundly grateful for you. This audience is in a league of its own. There’s nothing like any other audience. There’s no other audience like this in America. There just isn’t. I mean, and we didn’t even have a whole bunch of big, big ticket donors. There weren’t any $25,000, $50,000 donors. We’ve done that before in years past for some of our campaigns. These were all individual donors who collectively donated over $130,000 in a little over a week to save Christmas for the children of American prisoners. We call it the Angel Tree Campaign. And I don’t know what our goal was last year. This year’s goal was 4,333 kids. That’s $130,000. You hit it last night at 915. It’s people are around. We’re just in kind of shock and awe at the graciousness and the love and the generosity of this audience. We’re just stunned that you did this and grateful, wildly, euphorically thankful. I am so overwhelmed by this audience. I mean, I know I run out of words to figure out how to describe it, but thank you for saving Christmas for these kids. $30 donation sends them a Christmas present from their parent who’s in jail, a gospel, a Bible, and a Christmas gift. So you have saved Christmas for thousands of kids. Right now we’ve got 4,364 kids sponsored. 4,364 children are going to have Christmas morning because of you. And because of you, thousands of kids are going to receive the love of Jesus Christ and learn about the power of salvation. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Now it’s going to be fun to see how far over our goal we might go. It’s in your hands and God’s. MikeOnline.com if you’d like to make a contribution to the Angel Tree Prison Fellowship Campaign. MikeOnline.com. And again, thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m just blown away. Scott Jennings asked a pretty good question, as he often does on CNN. Of course, he’s our Salem radio colleague. Scott, describe today’s modern Democrat Party. And I have thought about this a lot, and I’m with Scott. I am mystified. I’m confused. I am baffled as to how and why the Democrats have opted to side with the bad guys. Look, you can’t pretend that narco-terrorists are good guys. You can’t pretend that people who commit crimes like assaulting and raping and murdering civilians are good guys. You can’t pretend that the guy who assassinated Charlie Kirk is a good guy. But the Democrats of 2025 continually side with the bad guys. Why is this? Here was Scott’s question last night.
SPEAKER 10 :
No, I’m shocked at Democrats willingness to defend illegal immigrants, narco terrorists. I mean, basically anybody that’s not an American citizen, you’re first in line in the Democratic Party right now. I do not understand it as a strategy. Oh, look, I think you I’m a political operative. I worry about everything. And I’m sure you do, too. Special elections have a different turnout matrix. A, B, it is true Democrats have more motivated and also more reliable voters in their party right now. So that affects turnout in odd year or off year or special elections. There are lessons to learn here, but there’s still a few more Election Day votes to count. The margin may grow a little bit. The last poll showed Democrats within two points. I think if we learned anything in this special election, it’s that the Democratic candidate here who was, you know,
SPEAKER 03 :
Wait, I was going to call her a little wackadoo.
SPEAKER 10 :
That is the median Democrat candidate right now. Absolutely not. She is basically a center-cut Democrat is what you’ve got out of Tennessee.
SPEAKER 03 :
You’re going to see it all over the country. As a Southern Democrat, I have to say, somebody traipsing around Nashville saying they don’t like country music, that’s not where we are.
SPEAKER 02 :
So I don’t know who she is. He’s arguing with somebody. But the point is, what Scott is advancing is a perplexing question. Today’s Democrats care more about narco-terrorists and illegal immigrants than they do American citizens. Why is that? Do you think that they’re appealing to the fringe element of American society that likes bad guys? Look at all the bad guys. Luigi Mangione. Do you honestly think a guy that… assassinates a young husband and father because he’s the CEO of a healthcare insurer is a good guy? You put on a little mask and you wear your little hood and you sneak up behind the guy and you shoot him in the back? That’s a good act? Is that an act of virtue? Do you think Venezuelan drug runners and drug lords transporting horrific drugs that are poisoning our kids into America, you think those are good guys? Have you noticed how the Democrats are upset that we’re blowing the bad guys out of the water? The good guys are blowing the bad guys out of the water, and the Democrats are upset that the bad guys are getting blown out of the water? I mean, they really are. They actually are. They’re defending the narco-terrorists. They’re defending assassins. So the question is why? We’re left with why? Help me understand from your perspective why this is. Welcome aboard, 15 past the hour. Again, big breaking story. FBI has arrested… I’m being told from some sources that the pipe bombing suspect is a Virginia man. Now, there was a lot of online speculation that it was a female Capitol Police officer. We’re going to find out who it is soon enough. But before we get to that breaking news, let’s get to the riveting question, why do today’s Democrats cling to the bad guys? Why is that their default? Why is that their go-to? Do you have any theories? I’ll bet you do. Share them with us on the Mike Gallagher Show. How do you do it? You call 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. SPEAKER 11 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 02 :
We’ll be right back. and some wonderful, generous donor took us over our total last night at about 915. It’s the fastest we’ve ever hit our goal. It’s a little over a week. You donated over $130,000 to this beautiful ministry. I’ve gotten a ton of emails today from different folks in our company, and everybody’s so ecstatic over your generosity, and you did it again, you know? And now for the next couple of weeks, maybe you’ll continue to support this campaign. $30 delivers a Christmas present, a Bible, and a personal message from a mom or dad to a deserving child. Thanks to you, thousands of children are going to experience Christmas, the love of Christ, the joy of Christmas morning, the reassurance that their parent might be in prison, but they still love them and they care about them because you’re going to do that for them. Right now we’re at over 4,400 kids in the campaign. Maybe we’ll hit 5,000 in the next couple of days. It’s $30, whatever you can afford, MikeOnline.com, MikeOnline.com. I also want to share with you more good news because strange things are happening. It’s a very odd, it’s a very strange thing to talk about affordability. It’s a very odd thing for a guy that does not make minimum wage, and I am very mindful of how blessed I am. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for this career, for getting to do a job that I love, and to being well compensated for it. And I am very mindful that plenty of people who listen and watch me are struggling. And I don’t want to be oblivious to that. You know, I remember the joke years ago, years ago, I’ll never forget it. I lost a market. It was in Pennsylvania. I remember the guy that did it. He was mad at me because I was joking on air about Denise and I at a department store, and Denise wanted to get monogrammed towels. And the guy got mad. I don’t think he liked me anyways. I remember him. I remember him like it was yesterday. I know exactly who he was. And he never was much of a fan, and he thought it was arrogant to talk about monogrammed towels on my talk show. Now, listen, stations, that’s a whole other story. I mean, we’re like chocolate and vanilla ice cream. What some people might like about the show, other people don’t like about the show. And I get that. I’m not everybody’s cup of tea. I don’t expect to be. But I remember thinking in his criticism when he canceled, and he actually canceled the show over it. He said, I’m not going to have a guy talking about monogrammed towels. Of course, I blame Denise. I remember going home that night saying, see, honey, you had to get the monogrammed towels, and I lost a station in Pennsylvania because of it. It was all her fault. But I do remember thinking how it comes off to people, when you make a good living, to ignore the needs, the wants, the wishes, the fears, the apprehension that people who are financially struggling face. I get it. Look, it feels like my life has flown by in a flash, but I remember it like it was yesterday when I was making $21,000 a year. and struggling to pay bills. I certainly know what that feels like. So Democrats have embraced a talking point. They’ve decided that it’s working for them to pretend that we have an affordability crisis in America. Now, President Trump, for his part, had a thing or two to say about the affordability crisis that Democrats think Americans are facing. Here’s what he said yesterday.
SPEAKER 04 :
Just about everything is down. You know, this whole thing is they use the word affordability. It’s a Democrat hoax. They’re the ones that drove the prices up. And all they do is say affordability. And you’re supposed to say, oh, that means they had low prices. No, we inherited the worst inflation in the history of our country. They say 48 years. But let’s say that’s history. I don’t believe that. Biden had because of his stupid ways and his between his energy policies and his spending policies. We had the worst inflation in the history of our country. And now our prices are coming down and they’re coming down for cars and they’re coming down. They’re great con people. It’s like the Inflation Reduction Act. And after they got it approved because everybody said inflation reduction, they admitted it had nothing to do with reducing inflation. It’s a con job. I think affordability is the greatest gun. They look at you and they say affordability. They don’t say anything else. Everyone says, oh, their prices were so low. No, they had the worst inflation. We had the highest prices we ever had.
SPEAKER 02 :
And now they’re all coming down. Now, he is right, of course. The Democrats destroy. They tear down. They’re responsible for rising prices. And then they complain about it and use it as a talking point to try to seize power. Now, you don’t have to believe Trump. In fact, let me give you CNBC. Here’s a reporter, Diana Olick, talking about something that many Americans face every day, the price of rent.
SPEAKER 01 :
Continued new supply and weaker demand are pushing vacancies up and rents down. The national median monthly rent for apartments fell 1% in November from October and now stands at $1,367. That’s according to ApartmentList. It was the fourth consecutive month-over-month decline. Apartment rents are now down 1.1% from November of last year and have fallen 5.2% from their 2022 peak.
SPEAKER 02 :
What’s that, CNBC? Rent prices have dropped for four consecutive months? Hmm. Wonder what’s different in 2025 from 2024. Oh, yeah. We’ve got Trump in the White House and Republicans in control. How about the Washington Post? You want some more good news? How about this shocking report from the Washington Post that food prices, yes, food prices, are actually a bargain under President Trump? Here’s how Fox News described the Washington Post reporting.
SPEAKER 05 :
minds around this affordability crisis, though, because we do have gas prices coming down. We have oil prices down about 25 percent since President Trump took office. The price of many things are coming down while wages are going up. Even the Washington Post, I just printed this out on my way up, Washington Post prints, actually, today’s food prices are a bargain. When you look at the buying power and the amount of hours you have to work to buy the same amount of goods with wages up, food prices you could look at are actually down. I think it’s really important.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, I’m shaking my head at the Washington Post because two weeks ago they were saying the exact opposite, that Trump was lying about saying that the prices are coming down from the previous Thanksgiving. I mean, you can’t rely on the mainstream media. You can rely on Fox News and Fox Business.
SPEAKER 05 :
No, no, no, we’re relying on the data. We’re relying on the data.
SPEAKER 06 :
Understood, but they were, you know how you can take a statistic and turn it about 20 different ways. I’m glad that they can no longer claim that prices are going up because of what Donald Trump spent.
SPEAKER 02 :
That’s David Asman over at Fox Business, and he is right. Of course, you can’t trust the mainstream media, but as Sandra Smith said, you’ve got to trust the data. These are cold, hard numbers. Wages are going up. Grocery prices are going down. Inflation is going down. Gas is going down. Every day on my MyPillow text line, I see pictures that people are taking at the pump from all over the country. $2.20 a gallon. $1.99 a gallon. I got one the other day from West Virginia. Now, of course, California is $6 a gallon. Thanks, Gavin Newsom. But there will – look, here’s the reality. The affordability crisis is a hoax. You can look around and find things that are expensive. No question about it. Car insurance, homeowners insurance, property taxes. There are a lot of things that are expensive. And when I say to you that is really, unfortunately, a fact of life, I know that somebody is hearing my words and saying, yeah, that’s easy for him to say. He makes a good living. And I am mindful of that. I really am. I promise you. I never want to ever take my eye off the ball here. But let’s understand what’s at play here. Trump is right. They use that word, affordability, and it really is a talking point. Nothing more, nothing less. There is not an affordability crisis in America. If rents were skyrocketing, if inflation was soaring, if wages were falling, if the stock market was crashing, yeah, we got an affordability crisis. But we don’t. And they know it. It’s a lie. It’s a hoax. And it’s an attempt to win votes. And the more progressive and radical and wacko the candidate is, the more they’re leaning into the affordability crisis narrative. That’s all it is. Let’s see if you agree or not. 800-655-MIKE. Welcome in. Join us here in the Relief Factor Studios. 800-655-6453. SPEAKER 02 :
Here’s a great text from George in Connecticut. There is no affordability crisis in America. In fact, core energy prices have dropped significantly. They will continue to drop, especially as we move towards nuclear coal and natural gas. Affordability is just another term to try and push the green scam. But it’s more than just the Green New Deal. It’s also about trying to fool people into thinking that somehow Donald Trump and Republicans are hurting the economy. And that just isn’t true. That just is not true. And you can look around and see the data that doesn’t reflect their reality. Where do you hear 2026? Where do you see what happens in 2026? As these Trump accounts, as the big beautiful bill starts taking effect, no taxes on tips, all these economic benefits that Trump has come up with, kids benefiting from capitalism, investing in the markets, There’s going to be, I’m convinced that 2026 is going to be an epic economic year. And you want to know how you know the Democrats are lying? It’s how they’ve changed their tune. Where do you hear what? Bernie Sanders said in 2007. He gave an interview to Lou Dobbs, who at that time, and of course Lou was a good friend of mine. I appeared on his show on Fox Business many times over the years. He came from CNN. When Lou was a host at CNN, Bernie Sanders made an appearance. You’ve got to hear this. First, you’ve got to hear about Rough Greens. Before I play this clip for you, I’ve got to play for you a reminder about your dog. You’re back in the vet. Your dog is shaking with anxiety. You’re shaking because you don’t know how much the bill is going to be. And every time you walk out with a big bill, and a lot of medications. Dr. Dennis Black created Rough Greens because he knew that most canine health problems are due to a weakened immune system, often from years of your doggy eating dead processed food. But they love the food, right, that they eat? So you sprinkle some Rough Greens on top of the food, wait until you see the change. There’s a good reason. Rough Greens is America’s number one dog supplement. My nephews, Jesse and Simon, are big Rough Greens fans in Peg and Joey Hudson’s household. They love the taste. Their skin is better. They have got more pep in their step. Hey, you can try Rough Greens for yourself with a free Jumpstart trial bag. You just cover the shipping costs. Go to roughgreens.com. As rough as spelled R-U-F-F. Go to roughgreens.com. Use the promo code MikeG to break the vet visit cycle today. Rough Greens. So great, your dog will ask for it by name, roughgreens.com, promo code MikeG. Here’s Bernie Sanders, 2007. Now here’s Comrade Bernie, like Sean Hannity always calls him, right? Bernie Sanders, you know, Mr. Anti-Capitalist, Mr. Socialist, Mr. I’m sure he’s wallowing in the affordability crisis, right? What did he say to Lou Dobbs in 2007 on CNN? Oh, here it is.
SPEAKER 07 :
And that gets us to the immigration issue. If poverty is increasing and if wages are going down, I don’t know why we need millions of people to be coming into this country as guest workers who will work for lower wages than American workers and drive wages down even lower than they are right now.
SPEAKER 08 :
And as we know, the principal industries which hire the bulk of illegal aliens, that is construction, landscaping, leisure, hospitality, those are all industries in which wages are declining. I hear that discussed on the Senate floor by the proponents of this amnesty legislation.
SPEAKER 07 :
That’s right. They have no good response. I just read something today that a lot of people coming into this country are coming in as lifeguards. I guess we can’t find… That’s right. We can’t find American workers to work as lifeguards. And the H-1B program has teachers, elementary school teachers.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, you know. And that H-1B program, we’ve got to watch… Senator Ted Kennedy sat there with the sole witness being Bill Gates, the world’s richest man, telling him he wanted unlimited H-1B visas. Obviously uninformed as to the fact that 7 out of 10 visas under the H-1B program go to Indian corporations that are outsourcing visas. those positions to American corporations in this country, and that four out of five of those jobs that are supposed to be high-skilled jobs are actually category one jobs, which is low-skilled.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, you raise a good point, and that this whole immigration guest worker concept is the other side of the trade issue. On one hand, you have large multinationals trying to shut down plants in America, move to China. And on the other hand, you have the service industry bringing in low-wage workers from abroad. The result is the same. Middle class get shrunken and wages go down.
SPEAKER 02 :
Wow. They sure are singing a different tune today, aren’t they? They sure are. Because, look, the illegal immigration scheme is a big part of what the Democrats view as their success. You got people in Minnesota… bragging about letting illegals vote. You’ve got people in Minnesota who are bending over backwards to defend the Somalis who have perpetrated Medicaid fraud upon the taxpayers of Minnesota. You’ve got people all over the country who know that you bring in millions of illegals to wreck an economy, then you get to turn around and say, we blame Donald Trump. It’s not going to work. They can try, but it will fail. 800-655-MIKE.
SPEAKER 11 :
Gallagher. Breaking now on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 02 :
Hey, congratulations to the FBI, to Pam Bondi, to Dan Bongino, Kash Patel for making an arrest in the years-old pipe bombing case. A suspect has been arrested, a man named Brian Cole Jr. of Virginia. He’s in custody. He reportedly lived in Woodbridge, Virginia, according to two sources. You remember authorities discovered the two pipe bombs near the RNC and the DNC headquarters around the same time that people began to descend on the Capitol on January 6th. This happened the night before. And it’s been a very mysterious story. But look, they’ve got somebody. And I wonder what, if any, connection there’s going to be to January 6th. Somebody just posted on social media, Brian Cole is about to spill the beans on the entire January 6th scam and the Democrats’ January 6th plan B. He’s described as 30 years old. According to people on social media, he formerly lived in Greensboro, North Carolina, Fairfax, Virginia, Alexandria, Virginia, Frostburg, Virginia, if it’s the same one. But people are desperately trying to find out. More about Brian Cole Jr., who is apparently the 30-year-old D.C. pipe bombing suspect. Look, it’s going to be a big story. It has to be connected to January 6th, right? I mean, there’s no way this is a coincidence. So this guy had a role to play. And it’s been one of life’s big mysteries. as to why they couldn’t find who this is. So now we’re going to find out, I guess. I hope. We’re going to learn what his role was, what his motive was. I guess. Now, I say that, sometimes you never know what the motive was. Look at the monster who killed all those college kids in the Midwest. Was it Idaho or Iowa? Idaho. What’s his name? Kohlberger? To this day, we don’t know why he did it. I don’t know how that’s possible. But there are times when we don’t ever find out what the motivation is, what the motive is. So we’ll find out, I think. There’s too much interest in January 6th. Or is there? Because when you stop and analyze this, mainstream media might not be in a real hurry. If it’s true that Julie Kelly is suggesting, and I’ve heard Tracy’s been kind of monitoring, Julie is suggesting he’s associated with Antifa. Now look, why will that be a shock? What, we’re shocked that Antifa is violent? Yeah, that’s about as surprising as water is wet. You think that’s going to be a big bombshell? That the left is violent? Gosh, what would these clowns do if they didn’t have January 6th? If they didn’t have those 800 or 900 or 1,000 people or 1,200 or whatever the amount was that were violent on January 6th? And I know, I know, don’t bombard me. Cops open doors. I know all that. I understand that a lot of cops… did not treat that as a riot. I know all about Nancy Pelosi not bringing in the guard. Let’s not go through that. Let’s not go down that rabbit hole. But if they didn’t have January, what would they have if they didn’t have January 6th? And what connection does Brian Cole, the suspected pipe bomber, have to the whole January 6th event? You want to have some fun? Let me throw the phones open. And have you speculate. 1-800-655-MIKE. I almost don’t want to do that. I’m almost dreading inviting you to call me. Because this could get messy. But what role do you suspect this guy might have played with the activities of January 6th? 800-655-MIKE. Look, I hope they keep this guy safe. You know? Hope they keep him safe behind bars. Keep him on a suicide watch. Don’t let anything happen to him until he can spill the beans. But if and when this guy spills the beans, it could get really, really interesting. You have any ideas? A 30-year-old man from Virginia, Brian Cole Jr. Hmm. 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. It’s a lot of evil in the world, a lot of bad guys. We know it. SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, Mike, I heard this a couple hours ago when they first announced it. This Brian Cole was a member of the Capitol Police Department.
SPEAKER 02 :
No, no, no. I heard that, yeah, you’re thinking about, I think you’re thinking about the online speculation before this arrest that it was a female member of the Capitol Police. Right. The way she walked and it kind of matched up the gait and everything with the video surveillance. Is that what you’re thinking?
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, I heard that as well, but that’s what I heard, that they’re connected. You take it from there, Mike.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, maybe so. Good to hear from you, John. Do you think, based on what you know right now, and again, I know it’s premature, do you think that this guy is connected to January 6th? Somebody just called. I wish they would have stayed on the line or we got rid of them. I don’t think they hung up. They don’t think this guy has anything to do with January 6th. Is that even possible that you think it might be a coincidence? That there’s a coincidence between the pipe bomber and January 6th? There’s no way. I mean, Tracy’s like, my producer’s like, no way. This guy’s absolutely affiliated with it somehow. It was all designed to add confusion and turmoil. Remember, the pipe bombs were left in front of both the DNC and the RNC.
