From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 03 :
There are a lot of political headlines today. Out of Texas, Jasmine Crockett, the gift that keeps on giving, is going to run for Senate. Colin Allred, the more sort of established conventional Democrat, threw in the towel. President Trump is in Pennsylvania. He’s beginning sort of an affordability tour, which is a great idea. We’re starting to get all of these anecdotal reports of gas prices that are really plummeting. I went to Jacksonville the other day, and in Daytona Beach, the gas at one gas station I drove by, I took a picture of it, was $1.79 a gallon for regular gas. That was in Daytona Beach, Florida. And I know it matters. I mean, I know it varies from place to place, but gas prices are lowering. They are going down. Inflation is decreasing. There’s a lot of good news economically. I want to start today, though, and I’m kind of feeling sort of… We’ve got these beautiful decorations up here in the Mike Gallagher Show studios as you watch on Salem News Channel. Thanks to Adam and Harry and Tracy and the team for sprucing up our studios. We’ve got our MAGA tree over here. I just, I’m feeling it. I really am. I told you I’ve been feeling the Christmas spirit. A lot of it has to do with our Angel Tree campaign. Right now, 5,054 kids are going to get a Christmas thanks to you. 5,054 children of American prisoners are going to receive a Christmas present, a Bible, and a personalized message from their mom or dad who is incarcerated. That’s a huge, huge blessing in my life that I get to be a small part of this, and I just look in amazement at what you’ve done. And for $30, you could sponsor a child, too. And I’d like, I’ve already made up my mind. The goal was 4,000, what was it, 4,333, right, guys? I’d like to get to 6,333. If we can get 2,000 kids over goal, that will be game, set, match. That will be a Christmas miracle. Right now, 5,054. We’ve had days where we’ve sponsored, gotten you to sponsor 1,000, 1,100, 1,200 kids. It’s just $30. If you go to MikeOnline.com right now, you can make an online donation. You’ll see that counter go up, and you can save Christmas for thousands of kids. You can share the love of Jesus Christ with thousands of American kids who have a parent in prison. Let’s have a big day today. We need a big day. Look, we’ve slowed down the last few days. And I get it. I’m in the hospital over the weekend, brain tumor, worries, things in my eyes, everything’s fine. I have just a normal retinal thing, no tear. But, you know, I missed a little bit. Joey did a great job covering for me, but we’ve been a little scattered. Let’s get focused again, and let’s get it to 6,000 this week. so that we can finish with at least 6,333 children sponsored. That’ll take us 2,000 children over our goal. What an extraordinary Christmas miracle that is. But I want to start, as we’re talking Christmas and we’re talking about our blessings and as we appreciate living in the greatest country in the world, you’re going to have to help me understand the cruelty of so many people. You’re going to have to help me understand all of the attacks on Erica Kirk. Charlie Kirk’s widow. I really, really cannot wrap my brain around it. I think I can figure out a lot of stuff in life. Attacking a young widow and a grieving mother who had to watch her husband get shot in the neck by a lunatic. hateful coward in Utah. I guess to some level I can understand the Charlie criticism if you disagreed with him. I mean, he’s dead. I don’t know why you think you’ve got to still beat him up. They killed him. So there certainly is a profound cruelty to that. But going after Erica? Erica? I’m watching crap on social media that is so vile, that is so gross, so disgusting. The word that they keep using for her online is a grifter. A grifter. What in the actual hell are people talking about? She was on Fox News last night with Sean Hannity. And, you know, I just, my heart was touched when I thought about all that she’s having to deal with. She’s now, because of her late husband’s wishes, taken over the reins at Turning Point USA. Maybe that’s why they hate her? I don’t know. How do you hate a young woman who did nothing except lose her husband? Here she was last night on Fox News with Sean.
SPEAKER 08 :
How are you doing? How are the kids?
SPEAKER 04 :
Doing the best you could expect. God is good, and we have the most amazing Turning Point USA family. They’ve rallied around myself, my children, and, you know, chosen families, everything. And then, of course, we’re blessed with our family itself. But people like you, Ainsley, it’s priceless. It’s priceless.
SPEAKER 08 :
You know, you go through this period and they have the shock of something like this happened. You know, we all try to relate to people. I don’t know if you really could relate to this. And then all of a sudden there are moments where you just like the reality hits you. He’s not coming home.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right. The permanency. I will always struggle with the permanency. It’s a love of my life. I still talk to him every single day as if when I’m getting ready in the morning, when I’m getting ready to go to bed, when I’m just going about my day. It’s I still feel him so much with me. And I just. Again, the permanency will never it will never settle in.
SPEAKER 03 :
Now, you know, longtime audience members know I lost my wife. And so maybe this is so personal for me because I know what that permanency feels like. I remember the day I had a panic attack when I realized she wasn’t coming home. And anybody who’s lost a loved one, you know all those stages of grief. You know what it feels like. You’re going to have to help me understand the hatred that’s been directed to this young woman. 1-800-655-MIKE. I know we should ignore them. I know I shouldn’t give them oxygen, but it’s all over the Internet. She’s got too many outfits. She’s not really crying real tears. She’s a grifter. She’s this. She’s that. Some say she was even in on his assassination because she wanted the power of running Turning Point USA. You honestly think Erica Kirk wanted her husband gone so she could run? An organization like Turning Point? You know how sick and twisted to even think about that really is? So, look, you’re smarter than I am. You go ahead and please light up my phone lines and give me a theory. Is it just for clicks? Is it just to get attention? Can you help me understand… The profound cruelty of the people online who are attacking Erica Kirk. Because I truly, truly don’t get it. I don’t understand it. And I’d like to. Maybe you can help. 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. Welcome in. It’s Tuesday, December the 9th. I’m glad you’re here. 800-655-MIKE. Join us. SPEAKER 03 :
For years I’ve complained that we suffer from… an entitlement problem in America. We have a real entitlement problem in this. Everybody’s entitled. People go around thinking that they are owed something for nothing. And this has been going on for a long time. We also have a lack of accountability. And, of course, those two issues sort of go hand in hand. We’ve got a lot of good news to share with you today as we kick off a Tuesday, December the 9th, 2025. Welcome in. If you’re watching on Salem News Channel, we’ve got the studios decorated with lots of Christmas decorations and wreaths and bows and trees. And we’ve got the MAGA tree over here that Tracy decorated with a lot of Trump decorations. ornaments. The Christmas Angel Tree campaign is going so well. 5,133 kids are going to have Christmas thanks to you. Look, I want to get way over. I want to see if we can get to 6,000 kids. which would be astounding. $30 sends a Christmas present, a Bible, and a personal message from a mom or dad who’s in prison. It’s just $30. And already today, we’ve had over 100 kids sponsored. Please go to mikeonline.com. Let’s have a big number. Admittedly, we’ve slowed down a little bit the last few days. We’ve got to pick up the steam. Christmas is getting close. How many days till Christmas is it now? 13 days till Christmas? Clock is ticking. You can save Christmas for these kids. MikeOnline.com. Just $30. Not only will you save Christmas, but in many cases, you’ll save their souls. And let’s just keep watching that counter. Right now, 5,133 children are going to have a Christmas thanks to you. Just $30, whatever you can afford. Thank you for supporting our Angel Tree campaign. Eight Philadelphia teenagers went to Florida for a football tournament. And apparently they decided it would be fun to rob a sporting goods store in Davenport, Florida. This story says so much about adults letting people down. Because it’s the leadership of a city like Philadelphia. Do you think if six teenagers, or eight teenagers rather, went into a sporting goods store in Larry Krasner’s Philadelphia and they stole over $2,000 worth of merchandise, you think Larry Krasner would want those kids prosecuted? People in Philadelphia know the answer to that question, especially when it’s eight black kids, okay? And race does play a role in this. These are eight young black kids, football players, who traveled with their team from Philly to Florida to participate in a football tournament. They went on a theft spree. These kids are members of the United Thoroughbreds team from Philadelphia, and they were in Florida for the Pro-Lyfix Sports National Championship. The Polk County Sheriff, Grady Judd, according to the Daily Mail, mocked the teenagers at a press conference yesterday, saying that their alleged spree cost their team the game. because their arrests meant that they missed the championship game. Sheriff Judd said, I don’t know if these were starters or not, but we were finishers. The Florida governor, Ron DeSantis, also bragged about Florida’s justice system. He shared footage of Judd’s press conference, which we’ll share with you here in a moment or two, and Governor DeSantis said they picked the wrong state and the wrong county. And here’s the best part of all. These teenagers who were arrested are facing felony charges. Even though they’ve been released, they’re going to have to travel back to Florida from Philadelphia to face the felony charges. And they might spend years in jail. Now, at the press conference yesterday… Sheriff Judd named the teenagers. They were all 14 and 15 years old. Damon Johnson, Elijah Myers, Abim Mahdi Abdul Haq, Jacob Smith, Marcus Hudgens, Mark Bryan, Tymir Smith, and Tymir Speller. Okay. What the kids did, apparently, what the gang did, they targeted items in the store. It was a Dick’s Sporting Goods, which is a big sporting goods chain in Florida and around the country. They had one teenager legitimately buy one item while the others went up and down the aisles and stole. The teen who purchased the item would then meet the others outside who stuffed a Dick’s store bag with the stolen merchandise. The sheriff said, as he posted the picture of the suspects, which we’re posting right now on Salem News Channel, you can see these kids, all eight of them, they stole, the sheriff said, they stole, and they stole. And not only did they steal, but they may have cost the team the championship because when they were arrested, the football coach raced to the store and He went to the scene to try to convince the police officers and the sheriff’s deputies not to take them into custody because they had to play in the championship game. The sheriff said, sorry, we weren’t very impressed that the coach tried to beg them out of it instead of holding them accountable. Again, it’s about accountability. And with these radical prosecutors that Soros and others have installed all throughout the country, there’s no accountability expected, especially if you’re a young black man. You go assault somebody? You don’t go to jail. Nah, why are we going to put you in jail? Cashless bail, don’t you know? Social justice. We’ve got to fix the wrongs of the past. Incidentally, the championship game was held right after the arrests. The teenagers’ team lost by 20 points. Sheriff Grady Judd, who is absolutely one of America’s best sheriffs, he said, if you don’t steal, we’re your new best friends. If you steal, we’re your worst enemy. Merry Christmas. All eight teenagers now face felony charges. And it’s not just kids. I think a lot of us suffer from this. There was an incident this week I had with somebody in my life who just did not want to take accountability for making a mistake. Happens all the time. We all do it. Nobody wants to admit when they’re wrong. People just have this inclination to say, oh, it’s not my fault. It’s not my fault. Even when you get caught kind of red-handed. Dead to right. There’s another reason why I did what I did. No, just own it. Accept it. These kids made a mistake and now they’re going to pay for it. The coach shouldn’t be trying to get them out of it. It’s entitlement and it’s accountability. And these young men are going to learn a very painful but valuable lesson. It might turn them around. Maybe, just maybe, they’re going to be scared straight. Remember that? Remember when the prisoners, they had the program? They still probably have it. It’s like our Angel Tree campaign. Do you know how many kids who are going to get a Christmas present and a message from their mom or dad who’s in prison and a Bible? Do you know how many kids are going to accept that? that good faith act of grace and generosity and become better because of it? Do you know how many of these kids that you’re going to bless in our Angel Tree campaign are going to turn to the Lord and not make the same mistakes that their parents made? That’s the beauty of this Angel Tree campaign. And I’m really, really hoping we have a massive day today. It’s only $30. Hey, if 50 people pop in $30, we’ll have a great day. Please go to MikeOnline.com. There is something about watching people get away with crime that makes me absolutely insane. Every time I go to New York City, I watch people jump over the turnstile. Every time. There’s not a time that I visit New York, and you know me, I go once, maybe sometimes twice a month, and I take the subway. I always see somebody jumping over the turnstile, stealing. And you could argue, well, it’s $3, $2.90, or $3.90, whatever it costs. Look, if you’re going to steal that, what won’t you steal? And they get away with it in New York because New York lets them get away with it. I don’t blame the police. The police are handcuffed by the lunatic, radical, leftist leadership in the city. What do you think is about to happen with Zoran Mamdani? Do you think he’s going to hold turnstile jumpers accountable? Do you think he’s going to hold shoplifters accountable, especially if they’re black? Or they’re people of color? No! They’re just trying to… I mean, look at what the lunatic Democrats are saying about the boat runners, the drug runners from Venezuela. The one Democrat said they’re just looking for economic opportunities. Economic opportunity! They’re poisoning and killing our kids with fentanyl and cocaine and drugs. And the Democrats want to excuse that behavior. They’re fighting hard for the narco-terrorists. Because to Democrats, there is no accountability for crime. You’re mad at the healthcare insurance industry? Go gun down the CEO and you’ll get a fan club. Just ask Luigi. He’s got a nice big fat GoFundMe campaign helping to pay for his lawyers. So I love this story, and I wanted to share the story with you. We’ll play some of the Grady Judd press conference for you, because this is what accountability looks like. What they did in Florida to those eight teenagers is what Larry Krasner and the Democrat elected officials in Philadelphia will not do. Those kids made the mistake of committing their crimes in a county and in a state like Florida that doesn’t put up with that garbage. That’s why Philadelphia, New York, Oakland, L.A., the blue cities are failing. And why cities like Davenport, Florida are winning. 800-655-MIKE. From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 03 :
There are days I come to work and my team presents me with a stack of stories and headlines, and I can’t even believe it. I think they’re trolling me. Headline, Zoran Mamdani, the incoming mayor of New York, taps an ex-convict who served seven years for armed robbery as a criminal justice advisor on his transition team. Here’s a headline, though, that makes me smile for a different reason. Gas is now below $3 in 37 states. thanks to the new Trump-inspired American energy boom. Fuel costs are at the heart of our nation’s economy. When gas goes down, everybody feels it. I was up the northern part of Florida over the weekend, Daytona Beach, $1.79 a gallon. Took a picture of it, posted it on my ex-account. I got tons of responses. People are saying $1.79 here, $2.59 here, $2.89 here. Look, go to California and look at $6 a gallon gas. And you understand what Republican leadership looks like. We’re so… baffled by some of these characters coming out of the Democrat Party. Big news in Texas this week. Jasmine Crockett announced she’s going to run for Senate. Now, the way she announced it, and you know her by now, she’s the… What do I call her? Provocateur? She’s the trash-talking, over-the-top kind of… wild-eyed young woman who is a congresswoman in texas and now she wants to be a senator now the smart kids are saying well there’s no way she’s going to win in a general election and i would just say don’t be so sure the crazier the democrat gets on the ticket the better their chances I mean, you’ve got a mayor in New York City starting January 1st who thinks that a guy who spent seven years in prison for armed robbery would make a good criminal justice advisor, which tells you all you need to know about Mamdani’s thinking. He doesn’t think that black people should go to prison. He doesn’t think that people who commit crimes like shoplifting… and robbery need to be incarcerated. He wants to get rid of prisons. To these leftists, they think prisons are bad. So Jasmine Crockett rolled out a campaign ad. Now, again, I know you think I’m making this up. You’re going to say it’s not possible. She can’t be this dumb. There’s no way Jasmine Crockett is going to launch a campaign ad featuring Trump mocking her for being stupid and some weird video of her saying, grinning into the camera. That’s not possible. That isn’t possible, you’re going to tell me. I’m telling you, not only is it possible, but it happened. Now, she eventually, apparently, took the ad down. I think the ad got deleted, but not before it certainly delivered the message that this is what she thought her opening campaign message ought to be.
SPEAKER 07 :
How about this new one they have, their new star, Crockett? How about her? She’s the new star of the Democrat Party, Jasmine Crockett. They’re in big trouble. But you have this woman, Crockett. She’s a very low IQ person. I watched her speak the other day. She’s definitely a low IQ person. Crockett. Oh, man. Oh, man. She’s a very low IQ person. Somebody said the other day she’s one of the leaders of the party. I said, you’ve got to be kidding. Now they’re going to rely on Crockett. Crockett’s going to bring them back.
SPEAKER 03 :
Crockett for U.S. Senate, it says at the end. And she’s smiling and she crosses, she folds her arms and nods her head like she’s proud of being called the village idiot by the president of the United States. She thinks that’s a good, now she took, again, they took it down. I guess cooler heads at the Jasmine Crockett for U.S. Senate campaign finally prevailed. Here’s Jasmine Crockett explaining how she’s going to help lead the way to turn Texas blue.
SPEAKER 09 :
When Texas turns blue, it won’t be because of any one candidate, but because of each and every one of you doing your part. Yes! Turning Texas blue is what I want to talk to y’all about today. Now, there are those that say, ain’t no way we done tried it 50 kinds of ways. Let me be clear, y’all ain’t never tried it the JC way. We used to telling us what I can’t do, but they have no idea what Crockett’s crew will do. And so I just want to be clear for all the haters in the back. Listen up real loud. We’re going to get this thing done.
SPEAKER 03 :
I always love it when she goes in and out of a dialect. Remember the video we played a while ago when she was on the campaign trail? She wouldn’t call can’t, can’t. She wouldn’t say, this is what we can’t do. She said, can’t do. I would like to be represented. I would like to represent my constituency in the whatever district. And now that she’s in there, well, you can’t tell her what we can’t do. She doesn’t talk that way. It’s complete performative. It’s all theatrical. It’s all fake. But here’s what isn’t fake. Hey, Texas, your latest U.S. Senate candidate once said she doesn’t think black people should have to pay taxes. Here’s a doozy for you. This is a, I don’t know, the date, we couldn’t find when she said this. We just know she said it.
SPEAKER 09 :
Just this past week, I saw, I don’t remember which celebrity, but it was actually a celebrity. And I was like, I don’t know that that’s not necessarily a bad idea. But I’d have to think through it a lot. One of the things that they proposed is black folk not have to pay taxes for a certain amount of time. Because then again, that puts money back in your pocket. But at the same time… It may not be as objectionable to some people about actually giving out dollars. But obviously, then you start dealing with the different tax brackets and things like that. And that’s one of the reasons that, you know, we argue the reparations make sense because so many black folk. not only do you owe for the labor that was stolen and killed and all the other things. Right. But the fact is like, we end up being so far behind. Right. And so it’s like, how do you bring forth people? Exactly. And so it’s like, if you, if you do the no tax thing for people that are already say struggling and aren’t really paying taxes in the first place, it doesn’t really.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly.
SPEAKER 09 :
They may, they may want those, those checks. Like they got exactly.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly. Exactly. I think she’s on to something. That’s an idea I think we should embrace. Black people shouldn’t have to pay taxes. Period. Just us white people should pay the taxes. Why not? Why not? That ought to fly in Texas, right? But see, here’s the thing. You hear lunacy like that, and you hear bigotry and racism and all, and you think, well, there’s no way that somebody like that could ever. I’m not so sure. Colin Allred was long considered the likely Senate Democrat primary winner, if not general election winner. Guy is a, I don’t know that you’d describe him as a moderate. I mean, he’s certainly not like her. And she scared him off. He abruptly withdrew his nomination to be a Senate candidate because of Jasmine Crockett. In other words, sort of establishment-type Democrats are so terrified of Jasmine Crockett and people like her, the wild-eyed, far-left, radical crazies, Then he dropped out of the race. Here he was on CNN admitting it.
SPEAKER 01 :
Jasmine Crockett is very openly considering running. Is that part of why you decided to not run anymore?
SPEAKER 02 :
Of course it is. And I think, listen, Jasmine’s a friend of mine and we’ve served together. I’ve known her since before we were both in elected office. But it was about the fact that with three strong candidates running, that we would certainly have a runoff. And I felt that that was not in the interest of the folks who had come up to me, tell me their stories, who would open themselves up. And in many ways, to me, I’ve always thought about this and try to take my ego out of how I approach public service.
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m so embarrassed for him. I mean, he’s willing to admit it. And, you know, he just doesn’t think he can beat her, I guess. Make no mistake about it. He’s not dropping out out of any sort of loyalty to Jasmine Crockett. He doesn’t think he can beat her. The energy, it is said, in the Democrat Party is with the lunatics. The energy is with the far left, violence-loving, crazy radicals, the extremists. That’s where all the excitement is right now. I spent some time earlier today talking about Erica Kirk, Charlie’s widow. She was on Fox News last night with Sean Hannity. I think she was on Fox and Friends again this morning. Have you seen the hatred that’s being directed her way? Do you know how sick you have to be, how twisted and evil and dark your soul has to be to attack Erica Kirk, a woman who just lost her husband a couple months ago, to an assassin’s bullet? My friend Joe Piscopo in New York always says, for the left, the cruelty is the point. The viciousness is the whole point. And they are now embracing it. They’re absolutely… And I tried earlier. I’ll try again. Can you help me understand why anybody would be cruel enough and hateful enough and evil enough to attack Erica Kirk, the widow of Charlie? I get if you’re on the left and you don’t like Charlie’s message. I mean, first of all, I don’t even understand bashing him. He’s dead. They killed him. So you don’t have to worry about Charlie. You do have to worry about Charlie’s message because, of course, it isn’t going anywhere. Maybe that’s why they’re taking it out on Erica because now she’s the CEO of Turning Point USA. Just some straight questions we have for you here on a Tuesday in the Relief Factor Studios. 800-655-MIKE. Welcome aboard. We’re glad to have you here. 800-655-6453. Join us. I talk a lot on this show about the battle between good and evil, and there really is. There’s no doubt about it. I watched Erica Kirk last night with Sean Hannity. It was the most heartwarming thing. Imagine what she’s going through. Imagine what she’s experiencing. Imagine what she’s feeling. And I make the mistake of going into the cesspool of social media and see people attacking her. Calling her, what is the, grifter? They like to call her a grifter. She’s grifting. She’s bilking money. She’s power hungry. This young, beautiful woman who lost her husband. Here she was last night with Sean. How are you doing?
SPEAKER 04 :
How are the kids doing the best you could expect? God is good. And we’re we have the most amazing Turning Point USA family. They rallied around myself, my children and, you know, chosen families, everything. And then, of course, we’re blessed with our family itself. But people like you, Ainsley, it’s it’s priceless. It’s priceless.
SPEAKER 08 :
You know, you go through this period and you have the shock of something like this happened. You know, we all try to relate to people. I don’t know if you really could relate to this. And then all of a sudden it was there moments where you just like the reality hits you.
Now, you could disagree with her since she’s a conservative and maybe you’re not. You could disagree with her husband’s message. You could disagree with the formation and the presence of Turning Point USA. But if you actually want to attack her in her grief, there’s something wrong with you. There’s something epically wrong with you. And it is, to me, an example of good versus evil. There’s a lot of evil right now. We’ve got people fighting, and there’s a whole subsection of people. What’s his name? The Fuentes guy went on the Pierce Morgan podcast this week, and that turned into a big thing. And you’ve got Candace Owens, all these theories about who killed Charlie and everything. And I think it’s driven by the need for attention and clicks and engagement because people monetize it and they make a lot of money doing it online. There’s a model that has rolled out. And the nastier and the more hideous you are, the more money you make. And my suspicion is that a lot of these people just want to make the money. So be as wild and cruel and vicious as you can be, and you’ll just make a lot of money, which makes you fundamentally a rotten person. Can you help me understand the hatred that has been exhibited towards Erica? Maybe you’ve got a better explanation. 800-655-MIKE. I mean, every gold star parent, as somebody just said, every gold star family can identify with what Erica Kirk is going through. Imagine the grief, the pain, the anguish. And then having, she has to be aware of it. Maybe she’s not. I don’t know. I mean, maybe she’s been able to protect herself from the online vitriol and hatred. I doubt it. She’s smart. She’s running Turning Point because that’s what Charlie wanted. Charlie had always envisioned her taking over from him if anything happened to him because, look, Charlie faced death threats every day. That’s why he had security. And he was aware that this could have happened to him. Can you help me understand it? I’m going to turn to you because, really, I’m at a loss. I think it’s just maybe the power of evil. Thankfully, we know how this story ends and good will prevail. But what do you think? 800-655-MIKE. One open phone line for you. 800-655-6453.
