A pretty warm winter. It’s been the warmest winter. We usually have like crazy blizzards by now. We would have had two or three by now. We haven’t gotten anything.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right, right. And I’m hoping it stays that way. We have enough water, right? I hope so. We got enough water, dude. But check this out, man. We gonna have some special guests on the show today. People that are… doing big things now you know this is the show uh to let you know what’s happening in the streets and from the bottom to the middle to the top you know i have friends in high places middle places and low places and uh you know this show’s about bringing people together we have to sit down and have conversation and dialogue with people who don’t agree with us and with people who do agree with what we’re doing. Like, for instance, Luke and I are great. We work together great. Good friends. And he has things that he agrees upon and I have things that I do. But guess what? We’re on the same team. And I believe that’s the only way that we can bring America back. But there’s people out there that’s doing major things, big things. And so we’re going to start off. Oh, my God. The phone. Where you at, man? What state? Where you at? I’m in South Dakota right now. I just got back from Washington, and it’s going to be 60 degrees here today, so it’s a heat wave.
SPEAKER 03 :
60. Wow. Now in South Dakota, if I’m not mistaking, okay, there’s North Dakota, South Dakota, which one has the biggest bears, the grizzly bear, the brown bear or what, which one or is it both of them that they connect? What’s up to deal with that?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, there’s no bears here, but you venture a little bit farther north up into Canada and Minnesota, and you’ll definitely run into a few of those.
SPEAKER 03 :
Really? Man, so it’s cool. It’s cool. I didn’t know that. I did not know there was no bears there. Wolverines, you got something dangerous out there, right?
SPEAKER 05 :
That is correct, yeah. I mean, there’s a few rattlesnakes roaming around, which you don’t want to get bit by. And, you know, I think that’s about it. We’re not a state that you’re going to find a lot of predators that can kill you. Luke, that sounds like my kind of state.
SPEAKER 03 :
We talk about it all the time. Well, check it out, buddy. For my audience, because this guy’s incredible and he’s doing incredible things. And I’ve been getting to know him and a lot of great things are going on. But I’m going to let you, big dog. You are on the right show. We made the right connections. And I want you to tell my audience, which reaches into four states, what you are doing. Because I see and I know, and it’s spectacular. So the floor is yours, buddy.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I appreciate that. Well, good morning. I’m pretty humble when I say this. My name is Nick Coulterman, and I’ve been an entrepreneur for 20 years. I’ve been in the medical field for 19 years and going. Just kind of not doing a lot with that, but I’ve helped a lot of people in the prosthetic and orthotic world over 19 years with hospital systems, VAs. veterans, kids, just helping people in the diabetic communities walk and live a healthy life. And that was my calling at the time. That was my passion at the time. And it gave me a good career and it helped me realize that helping people is very important in having a fulfillment in life. And so here we are fast forward in the last two years Reggie and I have gotten together just recently, but in the last couple of years, we’ve been working on some nonprofit stuff, collaborating with some celebrity friends of mine, some people in the communities of the NFL, NBA, you name it, Major League Baseball. And it’s now my calling to help veterans with disabilities, people with disabilities, kids, kids with cancer, kids with disabilities, to enjoy the outdoors. And so we own a couple hunting lodges in South Dakota. We primarily use those months out of the year. We put on several different hunts with pheasant hunting, with bullfighting, recreational outdoor activities, predator hunting. We do duck and goose hunting. We do all kinds of really fun stuff. And so in the midst of all that and through some nonprofit friends of mine and dealing with the veteran communities and outdoor communities, We’re building a new lodge, and it’s going to be just under 9,000 square feet and state-of-the-art. It’s going to be able to house veterans with disabilities, anybody with a disability. But primarily, we’re going to be doing some really cool hunts with veterans, getting them in the outdoors, getting them to do… just to be a part of nature. And I think that from a healing standpoint, that’s very vital, right? It’s important. And then from just an outdoor recreational side, they’ll get to enjoy some things that normally they typically wouldn’t be able to do if they had a disability, you know, with an amputation or a wheelchair, getting them out here and enjoying, you know, God’s country. Because we’re in the middle of nowhere. You know, a lot of people, I think when I first conversation I had with you, you’re like, you know, where is… fedora south dakota you know and it’s you know we’re we’re not on a map uh no we are on a map but but we uh we love it out here and you know enjoying god’s country riding around in side by side four-wheelers uh you know getting to enjoy the ground and and the peacefulness um that we that we own and we love so wow and you know some things that You and I have shed light on, and we were on the phone yesterday, that probably the audience knows a lot with what you’re doing is connecting people, right? And what’s the slogan that you use the most?
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m a uniter.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, you’re a uniter. And so what I’ve learned in life is that a lot of unity comes from like-minded individuals, comes from people that want to make a difference, have a passion for a certain cause. And I just, number one, I love Jesus. So anybody that’s listening and loves Jesus, you know, that’s important. And I think it’s getting people in the right rooms and sharing some ideas and then having those ideas come to fruition when it comes to building things that need to get built to help people. And, you know, the most important thing that I think is a takeaway with, with unity and uniting together is finding the cause and supporting the cause. And so for us, it’s this, this deal we’re doing, we’re doing a couple of really amazing things actually with empowering the veterans with my good friend, major Edward Polito. I just got back from, I just got back from the white house and I, I didn’t get to meet Trump and sit down with him, but I did get to meet some advisors and some really important people in, in the, the paths that are going to lead us into the right direction of working with the White House here in really short order. But it’s imperative that we bring people from the bottom to the top and the top to the bottom, right? And so doing so, I had an incredible time in D.C. I was out there for the last couple of days. I just got back yesterday fully. It was my first day back. And what I realized was, was there’s really a lot of politicians and a lot of people that, that do good. Um, you know, I’m not into politics and I don’t like to dive into it a lot for various reasons, but, but I look at, there are still some good people in politics and, and they want to, they want to help in ways that they can help. And, um, we’re going to make that happen. I think from a bigger scale, we’re going to pull a lot of people into this new lodge and this new facility that we’re going to be building. It’s going to be state-of-the-art amazing. And, and it’s going to be the biggest, um, uh project uh once we get done they’ll be the biggest biggest project in the united states that actually houses disabled veterans and and people in the disability community to enjoy the outdoors kids with you know terminally ill cancers uh people to be able to just come out and and also do uh retreats and so you know that’s a part of it the hunting season is a very short window the The retreat window is a little bit larger, and a lot of people love the sunshine and when the temperatures are a little warmer here in South Dakota, it seems. So doing some retreats in the summertime, getting some veterans involved in veteran retreats, kids retreats, and then just putting together really a high-caliber, functionally performing lodge that’s able to capacitate that, right? It’s able to house those types of people, and so… Those are things that we’re working on, some pretty cool, unique projects. But it’s – yeah, go ahead.
SPEAKER 03 :
So I know how smart you are, how successful you are, and how humble you are. You pretty much just named, like, four or five of the top companies in the world that you are bringing together and working with. How – How do you get on that level and get those type of prestigious people and companies to surround you or work with you and do this push and this move that brought it all the way now to the White House? How do you do that, man? Like, what’s the secret with that? I mean, you’re so genuine and, of course, being smart and working hard and all that. But it has to be a true passion, doesn’t it?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned in life is that, you know, when I was younger, my dad told me a really important thing when I was in high school and I was sitting in meetings with him and boardrooms and there was, you know, he would go to regional meetings with his company and talk about, you know, business and big deals and all these things. And I would just sit in the corner and I would listen. And one thing that my father told me really on in my career and in college was, was, Anything that you do, business will come and it doesn’t matter the product, it doesn’t matter if you’re selling yourself as a speaker, whatever you’re doing, selling a product, selling houses, it doesn’t matter. What matters is the people and the relationships that you build. And it’s more important to build relationships and to build long-lasting relationships with people because you never know when you’re gonna need those people and you never know how those people are gonna connect you to other people. Early on in my life, I learned that that was kind of a driver to do business. And I didn’t realize it until probably over the last four or five years that those relationships will catch up to you and you will need them. And so I’ve reached out heavily. primarily in the last couple of years with a lot of those relationships saying, hey, we’re doing this. We’re at this level. Here’s what we’re doing. Like, we need to get to the White House. How do we make that happen? We need to we need to involve, you know, some of the people in my career that I did orthotics for, you know, NBA players, NFL guys, celebrities, country music stars, like just people that I’ve helped throughout my career in that. capacity. And I’ve reached out to those people and said, Hey, uh, we need you now in this project. Like, can you help us or can you steer us in the direction of somebody else helping us? And it’s never, never be afraid to ask is, is probably, you know, one of the key takeaways of anybody that’s listening is never be afraid to ask and be humble when you ask. And a lot of people will give their time to you if it’s for good reasons and good intentions, right? And so, never be afraid to ask, always build relationships, never burn bridges, always try to build relationships because you never know when you’re going to need those relationships again. And quite frankly, those people, I’ve had a lot of people over the last 10 years reach out to me and say, hey, Nick, I need you for this, or I need you for that, or can you help me connect the dots with this person? And we’ve been able to do some incredible things there. So keeping that connection open checking in with people on a periodic basis and it doesn’t have to be, I like to check in with a lot of my relationships and people that I know and it’s, you know, we deem the term relationship capital over the last 12 to 18 months in my circle and the relationship capital that you create can drive the needle and move things such as business, such as other relationships, um, such as, you know, doing, doing things, um, even recreational things. It’s fun to hang out with people that are, you know, high net height, high worth, um, individuals. Uh, one guy told me, uh, this summer, it was quite, quite funny. A friend of mine that, um, he does a lot of big business deals and a lot of things. And he said, uh, You know, Nikki goes, when you go on someone else’s boat out to the ocean and go fishing with them or you’re traveling and you do a lot of these fun, fun activities that you do when you’re creating business, you know, you don’t have to own it to enjoy it. And think about that. There’s a lot of people in society that they’re like, hey, I got to have the biggest and the best. I got to drive this car that’s worth X amount of dollars. I got to have this house. I got to do these things. I got to own this boat. I got to own that. I got to own all these things. And really, the humility with that is that When you think about it, you really don’t need to own anything. You don’t need to own something to enjoy something. And that was really a humbling experience and conversation for me was that I can go enjoy all these things because my buddies all have them. I don’t need to go buy a $250,000 boat. You hear that, Luke? I can go get on his boat anytime I want and enjoy it because we’re friends. And so… You don’t have to enjoy – you don’t have to buy things to enjoy things.
SPEAKER 03 :
And so, yeah. So with that mentality, you hear what he’s saying, Luke? That means I should be able to come up to your house, to the mansion, and enjoy the stuff you have.
SPEAKER 05 :
We’re buddies. We’re buddies, right? Your buddy knows a buddy that knows a buddy that can get you where you need to be. Yes, sir. And that’s true, man. And it’s – I would rather be a driver in today’s world. I look back at my entrepreneur career in building different businesses and doing different things, but I really look at the last 24 months and if I were to dissect that, I’ve went from this paradigm of being an entrepreneur and building business and trying to scale things and do it yourself and be that guy and build it from the ground up and But I’ve taken a shift in that and went more to an intrapreneur mindset. And an intrapreneur is different in the fact that I don’t need to own it to build it and scale it. And so now I’m collaborating with people from all over the world, all over the U.S., in building business, tying business into deals and people. And I can own… 5%, 10% of something and bring in other guys and build business and other investors and other people to collaborate with. I don’t need to own the whole thing and that’s something that I’ve changed in my mindset is that One thing that does is it possibly moves the needle much quicker.
SPEAKER 03 :
Much quicker, it does. On your team, per se, I think it’s like three or four authors in the book Freedom Charge. I believe Ashley, Major Ed, Scott.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, those guys are all on our team for this project. I’ll call it Project X. We’re building this project out with the White House and doing some different things with Trump’s administration, which is incredible. And a lot of people that are not on the Trump wagon, they really don’t understand the guy because he’s not a politician. Yeah. This is a really funny conversation that I had with my cousin. She’s been in politics for many years. My uncle was a state senator. My cousin was in and out of politics. And I called her up and I said, hey, I’m going to the White House. What do I need to know? I need a briefing. I need a briefing on the president. I need a briefing on the administration because she’s very savvy in those things. And I said, what do I need to know? How do I need to act? What do I need to do? And she goes, Nick, if it was any other president, I would be… giving you a briefing, telling you what to say, how to act, what to do from a political side. But you’re going to be talking to a guy that’s nonpolitical. And so, you know, he’s a business guy and you’re a business guy. So I think you’re going to hit it off.
SPEAKER 03 :
fairly easily because he doesn’t he talks like he normally talks in any conversation you know right he’s real with it straight up you got a lot of power man and you’re very humble with it i was very very impressed and what you’re what you’re doing is amazing um what do you have a and i know you can’t get too deep into it or anything like that but what made you involve the president what what made you involve that
SPEAKER 05 :
Uh, there are many answers to that. Uh, the biggest thing is, is, is, you know, you got to get to a stage at some point in your life, you got to get to a stage that people, that you can be heard and it’s not, and you don’t have to take credit for it. So the biggest thing is, is a lot of people want to take credit for things. Um, We don’t need to take credit for this idea that we’ve built and created. And thankfully, you know, Steve Cohen, who owns the Met, and there’s a lot of people involved in, you know, the Cohen Veteran Network and Major Ed with Empowering the Veterans and our program and, you know, Ashley over at Forward Global and all these people that are going to be, you know, heavily involved in this project. We don’t need to take credit and be on the front stage. We’re wanting the president to do that because of this collaboration. I think that’s something important to take away from this conversation is a lot of people need to be the face and name of what they’re doing and be on this stage and be in front and let everybody know and the world know that it was them, right? We don’t need to do that because people will find out, people will know, but we need that stage. We need the stage the size of the white house and the presidency to, you know, publicly announce and do a deal. Um, and hopefully that comes to fruition here pretty soon. Uh, but, but we need that, that high of a stage to make something this big of what we’re doing happen. Right. Right. Cause it is big.
SPEAKER 03 :
There’s no doubt about it.
SPEAKER 05 :
So we’ve got a lot of good, we got a lot of moving parts with it. It’s going to be a lot of fun. People will see, you know, in short order, um, who we’re collaborating with and what we’re doing as far as helping veterans. Um, But yeah, we don’t need to take credit and be all over social media and TV. We can have one guy do that, and that’s the president. And I think once everything comes together, I think we’re going to see some amazing things happen in the veteran community with helping veterans with suicidal things, their families. Their mental health is going to be pretty incredible.
SPEAKER 03 :
And shelter and all that. That is not… Luke, and you know, I speak about that all the time. That’s one of my things is the vets, the elderly, the kids. That is… That’s really big, man. I believe the vets need everything we can give them because I feel as an American, we owe them. It’s kind of disheartening. You know I’m in the entertainment business as well. When I just got back from L.A. not too long ago for the BET Music Awards and la was just crazy man it was just so many homeless people and and you talk to people and there’s a lot of vets that are homeless on the streets man i just can’t understand that yeah there’s there’s a need for um there’s a need for what we’re doing and it takes
SPEAKER 05 :
There’s a lot of good organizations out there, and there’s a lot of good veteran organizations out there, and they all try to do really good, amazing things. We want this to be the 800-pound gorilla when it comes to putting on something this caliber, and we want it to be known nationwide. And I think that’s the projection that we’re going to strive for in closing this deal is that We want to be the go-to for veteran care and veteran community awareness and everything we’re doing to help vets. And I think that’s going to happen on the scale we want it to happen. It’s just a matter of time.
SPEAKER 03 :
Now, I’ve seen, and those pictures you sent were great. So I see one of those pictures, you’re standing next to the picture of Trump and Vance. Where is that, man? Because I’m jealous, man. I just got to tell him, Luke. I’m jealous.
SPEAKER 05 :
When you walk into the administration, first off, to get in there is unbelievable. You got to fill out paperwork the day before or a week before, and then they do a background check on you, Secret Service, and then you obviously, as a civilian, get to go in. You got to be granted access into the White House and into the I call it on the other side of the fence, right? Right. When you go in the back and go through that, it’s like a fortress. But when you walk out on the other side… The first thing you do when you go through the secret service, the last secret service door that you’re in this square box, you walk out the other side and all of a sudden you walk into the big hallway and it’s a picture of Trump and Vance. I took a picture of that. And then when you go into the every corner, this was what else is crazy. Like every floor, every corner you turn, like there’s the same pictures. They’re the same pictures of them, too. And I think it’s quite comical that, you know, I mean, obviously you know who they are, but they’re seen everywhere. Same pictures next to each other. Pretty cool.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, that back door. So you went through the back door, and you’re a couple of levels up from what I’m seeing. I’m like, wow.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, you go through the back door, and then when you come out, like when we go across, there was a, I don’t know, I can’t tell you how many, like black… armored vehicles there were that that were you know secret service agent vehicles they’re all black suvs there was probably 15 to 18 of those maybe and then and then we walked up and there was uh on the west wing of the white house they were setting up cameras and everything and i think he was going to come out and do an announcement and stuff um but there was a guard you know standing there and a marine and it was just incredible experience it really sheds light on the magnitude of what it feels like when you go there and what you, who you get to talk to and the people and everybody was great. I mean, it was just great. So hopefully we get to move that fairly quickly here in the future. We get to move that needle and, and bring other people into that and give credibility and shed light on what we’re trying to do.
SPEAKER 03 :
So, well, they, they must be very impressed for that, for that to happen. And for you to put that on that level, it’s definitely a serious thing. So, wow.
SPEAKER 05 :
And we’re doing, we’re doing a really cool, um, We’re doing something with Infinite Patriot, Major Ed, Empowering the Veterans. Infinite Patriot is ran by my buddies out in Montana who are two Marines who started this nonprofit called Infinite Patriot. And then we’re going to have some celebrity buddies, probably a country music star buddy come out. But we’re doing a massive movement with this Infinite Patriot movement with… getting 15 veterans, first responders, people out, and giving them a chance to come out and hunt with us at no cost, and then bringing in some of these other guys. So we can shed light on that a little bit. They call it the walking memorial, and so they’re going to be selling T-shirts, hoodies, and all of the proceeds of those sales across the U.S. through this veteran walking memorial, is that all those proceeds go into this hunt and and wow we’re gonna have some incredible people there um we’ll give a couple civilians an opportunity if you’re a business owner and want to donate uh to the cause uh we’ll put some information across your social social media reggie to be able to do that to shed awareness on that because major ed’s going to speak at it we’ll have some incredible veteran people there about 15 of them. And then, and then we’ll have, you know, some celebrity guys and some buddies of mine, whether it’s some MLB guys or NFL guys or whoever that may be. But it’s going to be an incredible week long experience here in South Dakota. And so still raising money for that. We’re still, you know, in the, in the trenches of, of shedding light on that, but it’s, it’s going to, and it’s going to be an amazing experience.
SPEAKER 03 :
So did I hear right when you said the owner of the Mets? Yes.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, so Steve Cohen, he’s the owner of the Mets. We’ve been working with his team, primarily T.J. Woolley, who was in that picture that I sent you when we were standing outside of the White House there. That’s the guy that’s behind a lot of this and solely one of Steve’s right-hand guys with the Cohen Veteran Network. And so… That’s what we’re doing. We’re working with their team. They’ve got 25 clinics across the United States right now that is self-funded through Steve’s organization. So just some incredible things there. And then we’re doing some big things in South Dakota with some hunts and some outdoor recreational things with veterans to raise awareness and bring people into our world and helping with this cause. And so just a lot of good synergy.
SPEAKER 03 :
A lot of power and it looks like a lot of money too. Boy, you guys are going to – that is like incredible. So you come here to the president and once he puts his stamp or name or however you guys are working it, because I have no idea, but you’re definitely there to talk to him, to meet him, to do what you need to do with him. So that’s a serious interest right there.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, correct. You’re absolutely correct. And the other things are – we’ve got a lot of land out here, roaming Hills, open prairies, you know, a lot of people that come out, we had a celebrity hunt and a, and a celebrity concert we did two summers ago. And we had Kevin Sorbo, uh, the old Hercules guy. You remember back in the eighties? Yeah.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah. We had, we had Kevin Sorbo out here. It was amazing. He’s an amazing human being, an awesome Patriot. Uh, he lived in Florida. We had him come up and we had Braden Sorbo, his son. And then we had, uh, We had Tamara Simmons, who’s done some documentary filming stuff with Netflix. She’s won some awards. Just some amazing people. We had Leah Turner from Nashville, country music star singer. We had her out here. And we had a stage, and we had a few hundred people in the middle of nowhere with a concert and some fireworks. And we raised some good money with that. And so… We’ve done some fun things, and we have some really, really good relationships. So we’re going to do another one of those, hopefully this fall, and then we’ll have the Infinite Patriot Hunt with Major Ed and all the patriots and guys there and veterans. So we’ve got some incredible things that we’ve got planned, and we’re hopefully able to shed some light through different channels on that. And then building out this new lodge, which will be done here this fall, is going to be incredible. It’ll be independent beds, people with disabilities in wheelchairs from quadriplegics to paraplegics to you name it will be able to come out and enjoy the outdoors and recreational activities. And there’ll be no barrier to letting them be able to do those things.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s incredible. How long do you think it’ll take to build the lodge? And you said that actual lodge is going to be housing people as well?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, it’ll be housing veterans, people with disabilities, um, kids, and that’ll be, we’re going to break ground here in April. Um, the project will be completed in October, uh, just in time for, you know, fall, fall hunting season and getting, diving into all the activities and stuff we have going on for this fall and into winter. So we’re pretty excited about it. Um, a lot of good people are involved, a lot of good collaborations. And then, you know, getting behind the marketing side and the driver for, you know, letting the population know of what we’re doing, who we are. Major Ed’s a great individual, man. He’s an incredible human being. Empowering the veterans is gonna be involved, their team. Scott, you know.

So to explain this, you know, I got a big grin on my face, but I just go ahead and explain, because when I’m in the presence of greatness, I just love it. And I’m very, very respectful and humble and appreciative. But tell me what’s going on, Scott, how you tie into this and everything.
SPEAKER 06 :
I guess I’m the communicator, the connector. You’re the uniter. And by the good Lord, we got connected. Nick and I got connected through Major Ed. As you know, I work with Major Ed and Empower the Veterans. And, of course, the book, Freedom’s Charge, that I put together a whole bunch of great authors, including yourself, Ashley, and Major Ed. It just all fell into place, and I’m just watching what the good Lord has for us. Wow.
SPEAKER 03 :
So something you want to ask Nick or talk to Nick about or comment on?
SPEAKER 06 :
Nick, I am so jelly. Oh, my goodness. Great.
SPEAKER 05 :
Dude, I’m so I’m so happy you called in, man. Like there’s just there’s just this wave and and it’s going to get higher, man. It’s going to be like a tsunami that’s just going to engulf everybody. And it’s it’s there’s a lot of fun happening, but there’s a lot of work to be done. And there’s a lot of behind the scenes. And, you know, it’s it’s incredible that. through relationships, and I don’t know if you were listening before when I was talking about that, but it’s probably one of the most important takeaways that we can have out of this and a lot of the different business things that we collaborate on in life is that It’s somebody that you know that knows somebody that knows somebody, right? And it’s just building those relationships and syncing them together to make incredible things happen. And we’ve done that. We’re moving forward with this project and it’s incredible the people and the caliber of the people that are involved.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, I’ll just say this one thing is that I want everybody to know Nick is the center of this wheel. Been put there by God for some reason and It’s on his shoulders to keep all these people together, and I’m just really proud of you, Nick.
SPEAKER 05 :
Wow. I appreciate that, man. I appreciate that. And it’s not all me. I was on a consultant call yesterday, and the guy that I’m doing some business with, he literally said, you remind me of a spider in a web. and how you’re making this web and how every piece of this web is connecting different pieces together and then all of a sudden we have this this beautiful you know web and and it’s it’s it’s incredible the the connections that have been made and it’s i can’t take credit for all that i i’m just the guy that that puts the pieces of the puzzle together and so it’s going to be an amazing puzzle and it’s going to look amazing once it’s all done
SPEAKER 03 :
Man, those people and the cause is incredible, though. The cause is unbelievable, Scott. But the team and the respect that you have to have, Nick, to have that type of power. And you too, Scott, to put that together and be there at the White House. Whew. Man, yep. I’m jealous. I’m jealous. You hear that, Luke?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, you know, it’s just one small sentence. It’s with so much bad that’s going on everywhere on the media all the time, here’s something we can point to that’s all good. And that’s where we’re thinking from. Nick and I are aligned on let’s do good and be positive, and you are too. So that’s where I lay, you know?
SPEAKER 03 :
So, Nick, in your opinion, and I know you can’t talk about too much, but so do you have a time frame in reference? Because that’s really big. And, you know, of course, we’re always saying the quicker the better. But do you have a time frame to do all that? I mean, you’re talking about the president. You’re talking about all these stars, celebrities, sports stars, big companies. You’re a big guy. Yeah, that’s a lot of stuff, man.
SPEAKER 05 :
yeah it is a lot of stuff um you know our goal is to our goal going into this is is to get this locked in before july 4th um have a an announcement national announcement hopefully it’s at the rose garden in front of the white house is it’s kind of our you know our insight on it it would be incredible to do that and have veterans standing there and and um and the president and everybody but i believe that you know it’s going to come to fruition. I truly believe that in my heart. It’s just a matter of timing. And with, with, you know, America being 250 years old this year, there’s a lot of really cool things happening. And again, it’s, it’s, taking credibility for what is happening in this project. We’re getting in front of the right people. It’s just a matter of pulling the trigger and them knowing that this is basically what TJ said the other day. It’s a present already wrapped with a bow. We just need to deliver it, right?
SPEAKER 03 :
Wow. I like that. That’s a very good saying. Another question with Mr. Cohen. I didn’t know he was into the veterans and stuff like that and that movement. He had that organization that’s that big and doing things like that.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, he is an incredible human being. Made all his money in hedge funds, transitioned out of that, and now he, from what I’ve understood, he is heavily involved in wanting the Mets to win a World Series. And just from the philanthropy side, a very giving individual. And so if you want to research Steve, he’s an incredible human being.
SPEAKER 03 :
Scott, do you know Steve or be known of his work?
SPEAKER 06 :
Just like you, Reggie, I was unaware of any of that until I met Nick and then just followed what Nick said to do, look it up and check it out. It’s an absolutely amazing story.
SPEAKER 03 :
I think I met Ashley through you, didn’t I, some time ago, a couple years back?
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s correct. Ashley I’ve known for a while through Major Ed and just kept that relationship and was even able to hook you guys up for a couple of things when you were doing that. Trump butts and going around the nation and things like that. It’s been a long time.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes, yes. I’m excited, man. I’m really excited. Nick, in your in reference to your your your lodge and that your housing, how big is it going to be like square feet and how many people is it you think is going to hold?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, it’s going to be just under 9,000 square feet. So we’re going to be doing some pretty big things as far as the bedrooms will be all state-of-the-art with beds that will be able to house paraplegics, quadriplegics, anybody with a disability, veterans with disabilities, kids. We’ll have kind of a wellness theme behind it, you know, between the beds and the holistic approach that we want to take. to the facility itself. Because when people come out, I mean, it’s the healing process, right? And it just doesn’t have to be recreational activities. You know this as well as I do, and maybe Scott can contest to this too, Maybe as a kid, you went camping with your family and you noticed when you got out of the city, it was just a beautiful thing and you could relax and you weren’t stressed and nature brings something with that. And as you grow up, you’re like, hey, I want to go to the lake and do some kayaking or I want to go fishing with my grandfather. I want to enjoy the outdoors, go to a cabin in the hills sometimes. you know, that’s secluded. And, you know, people realize that there has, there’s something that has to do with nature and being in the outdoors and, and in a secluded area that just brings healing. And we’re going to see some incredible transformations and incredible things happen. I believe in the future, once all this project gets done and people will, will have an impact on those people.
SPEAKER 03 :
Wow. Wow. Scott, so what’s your, I know you collectively what’s going on. What are you doing in reference to, and you always have some, your golf tournaments are crazy, man. They’re so successful. Well, everything you do is successful, man. I think I met you the first time at a multi-multi-millionaire’s home in Windsor, I believe, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
You know, we go so far back, I just can’t remember where we met, but I know that I was able to get you with Casper and some other folks to Martin’s House, another author of the book. I keep referring to that, but it’s just a connection that we all have together. I can’t place where we actually did meet, but I think you followed up on that meeting, and from there, it’s history.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, because it was incredible, man. Thanks to you, Johnny and I met Marco Rubio, Cory Gardner, who else? And a whole bunch of dignitaries were there, you know, law enforcement, like the mayor or something. It was a lot of people. At that event. And it was just huge, man. That was just really, really cool. And I can’t wait, Nick. I cannot wait to meet you, buddy. You know, I’m glad. I’m glad I’m on board. You know what I’m saying? I’m glad I’m with you guys. I’m going to just sit back, play my role, do what I need to do.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, we’re excited, too. Scott’s excited. We’ll keep everybody updated on progress and, you know, announcements and things as we go. We’ll collaborate with you, Reggie, on just publicly, you know, getting the word out for these hero hunts with our veterans and stuff coming up and first responders. And there’s a lot of really cool things. And, you know, we’d love to have you out for that to, you know, do some things with us.
SPEAKER 03 :
Oh, just let me know, buddy. I’m in. I’m in. I’m in. Scott, with you, with the book, I hear it’s making a lot of noise. And you got like three or four of the people, I guess, in the book that’s actually hooking up with Nick, Nick Spearhead and everything. And with Ashley, she was like working for Trump, right? She was like his right hand or something like that. She was way up there, wasn’t she?
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, so she in the 2016 was transitioned. She was part of the original campaign transition team and then actually worked in the White House. Her her resume is amazing. She still has all those connections. And what an amazing lady. I’m so blessed to know all the people that, you know, we work with. And my lane is. As you know, events, major events, small events, I’m the operations guy. And you’re like the Sony Studios, the KLZs, everything you could imagine in AI and better. And we just all have our lanes. We all play that part in that role. And however we can be used, we’re ready.
SPEAKER 03 :
Are you I believe I kind of spoke. I spoke with your fiance, Nick, didn’t I? Yesterday. She sounds she sounds like she’s just a ball of fun, man. Like her personality seems so bubbly. She seems really cool. Can you tell us a little about her?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, she’s amazing. We’ve been together for two years. She has helped out with the lodges, she guides, she fishes, she hunts, she does a lot of really cool things. And the most important thing that, you know, as somebody, as a spouse or a significant other, And she drove all the way out to D.C. with me and was able to be a part of that. And I think that’s an important takeaway, too, from this conversation is that you have people in your circles that do all these things that are supporters. And a lot of times… it’s, it’s the really close people that you really need that, you know, and, and I, I haven’t had that, uh, a lot in, in, um, you know, growing business, you’re as an entrepreneur, you know, as well as I do, it’s, it’s a lot of grind. It’s a lot of, uh, it’s a lot of going places, doing deals, doing things, meeting people. And, you know, it’s, it takes away from, from a lot of family time and a lot of things. But when you have somebody beside you that, you know, is willing to go along to support you, to, you know, help you and, and whether it’s, you know, all hands in or, or, uh, it doesn’t matter as long as they’re there.
SPEAKER 03 :
And, and that’s, what’s important. Cause that is major. So that is major to have that type of support. And especially with all the things that you do and what your, what this current project is, you’re going to have to have, uh, Her right on your hip, man.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yep, absolutely. So, yeah, it’s going to be fun. I’m excited. Scott’s excited. We’re going to do some incredible things. And along the way, we’re going to bring some incredible people into this. We’re just excited for it.
SPEAKER 03 :
What are the numbers of the vets right now, homeless vets or vets, injured vets or in need? What do the numbers look like? Do you know?
SPEAKER 05 :
as far as like homeless vets in the United States. Yeah. I know it’s a lot, but do we have a idea? I think, um, I think it’s around 30 to 40,000. The last time I looked, I mean, you’re looking at 30 to 40,000, you know, homeless veterans. And, and I think the one number that we look at, um, statistically is, is just veterans who need help with, um, mental health awareness and mental health side of things. And where do they go to get help? What can they do to get better? And so those are some really big key takeaways with what we’re trying to do in collaborating with the Cohen Veteran Network, empowering the veterans with Major Ed, with our collaborations with our lodges and our outdoor network. It’s truly coming full circle in helping these guys from tackling this from many different angles, whether that’s clinical, whether it’s outdoor recreation, whether it’s being an advocate, you know, to these people or for these people. And that is really what I feel is going to move the needle is, you know, having pillars and sustainable pillars to tackle this from many different angles. Wouldn’t you agree, Scott?
SPEAKER 06 :
So we figure the statistics are about 200,000 service members, what we call ETS, get out of the service every year. And what percentage of those people need help? Well, if you’re in a military structure, you need help on so many levels just to get back into society and function comfortably. And of those 200 some odd thousand, how many actually have real challenges? So what Nick’s efforts are doing is combining a lot of different resources to help those veterans and including first responders, which quadruple that number.
SPEAKER 03 :
um you know live a happy life and and be thanked for their service and that’s uh that’s just amazing that has to come from god man literally amen especially in the times we live in right now to be doing what you’re doing nick that’s uh that’s a special thing that is well for me it’s you know what i’ve looked at um in in the 20 20 years of being an entrepreneur i’ve looked at
SPEAKER 05 :
I’ve helped a lot of veteran organizations. I was drawn to veterans from being in the VA healthcare systems with being a practitioner, helping these guys with disabilities, females with disabilities coming out of Iraq and Afghanistan and even the older veterans that were serviced in Vietnam with getting hit with Agent Orange and just helping them try to live a pain-free, better lifestyle. And what I learned was, was There’s many different organizations out there, and I donated to a lot of those locally, but there wasn’t one that stood out to me that did multiple facets and to try to tackle different angles of things under one organization. And so that’s me thinking, hey, as an entrepreneur, how can we create something that is pulling and tying all these other things together and service, you know, two or three or four pillars that are solid pillars that can tackle this from, from all of those angles to give a better outcome. And I think the outcome is the most important thing. And, and again, you have a lot of incredible organizations. You have a they’re a lot of times they’re focused on one thing and you know we’re tackling this from many different angles and it’s bringing all of those people together in different organizations and and saying hey we have a serious problem here how do we solve this problem in doing multiple things at once and that i think in itself is what drove me to you know getting everybody tied into this um And in numbers, we’re stronger, right? I mean, in numbers, we’re stronger. So I can’t go out and do everything. Neither can Scott and those teams and everybody else that we brought into this. But as a whole and a one unity, we can definitely move much quicker and much faster.
SPEAKER 03 :

Yeah. Hey, I run a nonprofit. We work with physically challenged musical artists. And I try to get them out there to do different performances at different locations and so forth. And what we do, we do partner with other organizations that are music organizations. And then what I found, you know, sometimes you get the grunts. Sometimes you’ve got to call the people up, let them get to know you a little bit, you know, smooth them a little bit. And then when you’re sending your proposal, it’s just not a proposal. It’s a proposal from somebody that called and talked to them a little bit to find out, you know, where they were and all that kind of stuff. So you’re working as far as like getting funds because that’s always – Getting the funds in. How’s that working with you as far as like getting into all these foundations to move like funds over your way, so when you do write a proposal and put it in you know you get funded for what you need to do.
SPEAKER 05 :
yeah so I mean to dissect all that there’s. Again, it’s always good to collaborate in numbers. One thing that we’ve been very successful with is bringing, when we’re raising money, and the biggest thing is raising awareness, we’ve teamed up with Major Ed Empowering the Veterans. We’ve teamed up with many, many different organizations. And we bring all of those organizations or a hand-selective of those organizations into a fundraiser because it’s all about numbers that move much quicker. And so… If we collaborate that way, rather than going out and trying to all fight for the same dollar, we’ve had much more success with that. Johnny, are you a vet?
SPEAKER 07 :
No. I mean, I have vets in my family, but no.
SPEAKER 03 :
Go ahead, Johnny.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m not like Ray Charles, who said, I took one for the team, and that’s why I’m blind and stuff like that.
SPEAKER 03 :
Hey, Nick, Johnny is visually impaired and a great guy, and he’s into helping people and stuff and making things better, too. He’s in politics, but great guy. He always calls into the show in his perspective. You know, like you say, you surround yourself around good people, and it starts with God. It starts with the heart first. And then you build those relationships. And like you said, them are the most biggest, most important things that you can do to me. Am I wrong?
SPEAKER 05 :
No, you’re absolutely hit it on the head. I would like to meet, we’ll connect together, you know, Johnny, so that we can share maybe some ideas or collaborate on, you know, we’ve got some incredible projects for people with disabilities and what we’re doing out here in the great state of South Dakota. So a lot of good things in the outdoor space, in the healing side of things that we’re looking at doing from this next year, once we get this new facility built and Again, it’s all about organizations and raising awareness.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, I can tell you, Johnny, firsthand, Nick is very, very humble. He has some incredible stuff. But, you know, Nick, let’s definitely keep in touch. I mean, on the air, off the air, definitely directly or through Scott, however we need to do it. And let’s just get this going, man. I’m really excited for this. You know, I’m ready.
