Force could be a weapon, but also policy, unpredictable and excessive taxation, fear, coercion, government-induced inflation, the World Economic Forum, the Globalist Leads Agenda, United Nations, the Colorado State Legislature, they are very busy. And not necessarily in a good way, but there are great representatives and senators that are standing in the gap for us down there. But this Colorado governor and the World Health Organization, which we are no longer a part of, the land use code, zoning regulations, force fees, conservation easements, national monument designations. Remember, if something’s a good idea, you should not have to use force fees. to do it. The show comes to you at 6 to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday. The first hour is rebroadcast 1 to 2 in the afternoon. Second hour is rebroadcast 10 to 11 at night. And then once that happens, you can listen to the show via podcasts or the podcast via Spotify and iTunes. So that is all of those things. Next thing, let’s get over here to our word of the day. And our word of the day is counterpoise. And it’s C-O-U-N-T-E-R-P-O-I-S-E. It’s a noun. It could be a counterbalancing weight. Number two, a force or influence that balances or equally counteracts another. Or third, the state of being in equilibrium. In this day and age, we really need Donald Trump is coming in as a counterpoise to all of this illegal immigration. And as I was looking at headlines, this is very interesting happening in L.A. You had a number of there was a protest against Trump’s immigration policies. It says thousands of people. This is from Washington. eyewitness, ABC News, I think in LA, it says thousands of people marched in downtown Los Angeles Sunday in protest of President Trump’s planned mass deportations and the blocking traffic and just disrupting things. Interestingly enough, what we’re seeing is a lot of Mexican flags that are being flown there. And I find that quite interesting as well. People have come here illegally, and they’re willing to really disrupt things to stay here illegally. And that is a real problem. Certainly, I realize people have come here because of the American dream of freedom. But what has happened, and we’ve seen, is that federal dollars have been used to – Fund NGOs, non-governmental organizations, which have brought this influx of people here, put them on public assistance. Some people have come here to hurt us and it really has been an invasion. And of course, those those that have come here. really in part of this invasion not to come for the American dream if they’re carrying Mexican flags around. This is certainly a real problem. And so you need to stay tuned. We’re in quite a time right now, my friends. As General Arbuckle said last week, we are in a very dangerous time. This O’Biden-Harris administration has really put America and Americans in a dangerous time. And that brings up, let’s see, well, let’s see, let’s get to our quote of the day. I have some other headlines that I want to make sure that I get to you as well. And this is from W. Clement Stone. He was born in 1902. He died in 2002. He was an American businessman, philanthropist, and New Thought self-help book author. And it’s really an interesting story. He really is the rags to riches story. He was the founder of Combined Insurance Company, and it says he had less than a modest start. This is from thefamouspeople.com. But he did not let his financial shortcomings come in the way between him and success. A highly successful businessman and prosperous philanthropist, he was the perfect example of how hard work coupled with a positive attitude can change the fate and destiny of a man. Famous for his pencil-thin black mustache, his polka-dot bow ties, and solid fixation on motivation as the engine of success, Stone started off as a newspaper hawker when he was three. Interestingly, unlike other hawkers, he did not choose the street corners as his sellout zones and instead concentrated on restaurants. And his charming mannerism and benevolent ways impressed the buyers, and his business soon thrived. He proceeded to become a salesperson in an insurance agency started by his mother and soon turned the business profitable. Starting off with merely $100, he launched his own company that went on to become a multimillion-dollar business. And throughout his life, he was deeply influenced by Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich and the Bible. He even penned his own book, which stated his belief that positive mental attitude was all that a person needed to rule the world. He strongly believed that no matter how poor one starts in life, a person can become wealthy by having a positive mental attitude. And that’s W. Clement Stone. He says truth will always be truth, regardless of lack of understanding. And as you know, we search for truth and clarity on this show each and every day. Zach got this New York Times article over to me, which was pretty interesting. And I had it up here. And it says, many Americans say that the Democrat Party does not share their priorities. And it says, this was a New York Times poll, and it found that Americans believe abortion, LGBTQ issues, and climate change concern Democrats more than the cost of living. And many Americans say they do not believe the Democrat Party is focused on the economic issues that matter most to them and is instead placing too much emphasis on these social issues. That is happening right here in Colorado at this Colorado state legislature. We had Rich Guggenheim on on Friday. He is the national director for public policy for Gays Against Groomers. And apparently there is a transgender bill of rights bill that very well may be heard or introduced today, I think, down at the State House. And it says the issues that people cited as most important to them personally were the economy and inflation, health care and immigration. The kinds of social causes that progressive activists have championed in recent years ranked much, much lower. And so this radical activist Democrat Party now, this is not the Democrat Party of your grandfather and your grandmother. This is not the party of JFK. This is being controlled by radical activists. And we here in Colorado, I really thought a lot about this this weekend on what needs to be done. I was at Liberty Toastmasters on Saturday. And one of my colleagues, who’s a veteran, and he and his wife had gone back to Southeast Asia. I think that he had been stationed in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. And he gave a speech regarding the killing fields in Cambodia. And I knew about them. And in fact, Pol Pot killed, I think, 1.5 million people in Cambodia. And the population was only like five or six million people. And Bill, though, gave a riveting speech about these killing fields and the killing of children, although that really made me think about this whole abortion thing in America. We’re killing a lot of children here. But it was really riveting. And. If government gets out of control and if government doesn’t protect individual rights and if, as Jay Davidson many times says, recognize the sanctity of the individual, then things will get out of control. And we’ve been going down that road. with the Biden-Harris administration, and it really started many years before that. Putting people into groups and trying to pit those groups against each other, that is Marxism. And we’ve been heading down that road. So I thought a lot about it after Bill’s speech on Saturday. Because this can happen anywhere. The cruelty of man can happen anywhere. And that’s why we have to continue to protect the American idea. And so this thing, I’m looking at it right now here in Los Angeles, all these people in downtown Los Angeles waving the Mexican flag. There is a country. If they want to uphold the Mexican country, they can go to Mexico to do that. But here in America, We focus on these ideas of America that all men are created equal with rights from God of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. And when we do that, what happens? Well, the American dream happens. So next thing to mention is Trump has put these tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China. And that’s going to get very interesting. And he said that there may be some hurt for the American people in doing so. And that’s very possible. But he is certainly focused on America, making America and Americans great again. And if that happens, that’s good for the whole world as well. So we’ll continue these important discussions. Good morning, Kim, and thank you for all the great work that CUT is doing.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, and we will be getting our email out to all the legislators here a little bit later when I opened up Bill Track 50 to see how many bills were scheduled for hearing for this week. Some of them are crossovers, but 127 bills, Representative DeGraff, and we’re taking positions on 39, well, probably 39 of those. But it’s crazy down there at the Statehouse.
SPEAKER 06 :
It really is a bill mill, Kim. It’s just a chugging through. I don’t think it’s a responsible way to do government at all. And, you know, we just had a couple bills come through last week that like 1050 and 1077 that were, you know, that were reflective of this. You know, some of the issues were brought up last year, disregarded, and now they come back and they need a Now they need a cleanup bill. They need to have some of their impacts undone. Now, of course, a lot of the legislation would be better if it was just undone entirely, but those are two bills in particular.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, and 1077, that was that backflow of a kind of a, well, it was not necessarily a plumbing bill, but there was a bill that was passed last year. And as you said, it had some things that basically would put people out of business that were doing this backflow testing process. on systems. And so this bill had to clean that up. So we had to retake a look at that ourselves at CUT. And we are a yes on 1077. But you had emailed me over something regarding this House Bill 251050, the regional county jail approach. That was not a bill that we took a position on. But you had something in there that you were very concerned about.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, the concern there, again, was that it was, you know, there’s concern about the safety clause. And then there was concern about that, you know, it was being brought up. But, again, it’s to address issues that we should have brought up in the first time around. But the first time around, the emphasis was on safety. the blind emphasis was on jail standards. And of course, we need jail standards, but we have to have, you know, we have to do these things smartly. And, you know, we do have a lot of smart people in the GOP and the ideologically driven Democrat Party doesn’t want to hear anything. So they just had a whole list of, you know, improving jail standards, et cetera. And a lot of them, you know, they were legitimate. But, you know, there are concerns. You can’t, you know, contrary to the The Democrat opinion on this, taxpayers are not a bottomless source of money, and so we have to approach these things smartly. So there was some agreements that they wanted to put in place, and the bill precluded them. Now we need to go back and fix it to make sure that the jails can – upgrade appropriately. But some of these facilities, like a town that has over 2,000 people, you know, they can’t afford the upgrades that are required. So that means they have to go and do partnerships with other jails. And those jails are going to be farther away. And That does create an inconvenience for people who are incarcerated, but that’s kind of a fallout of what the bill requires. You can’t have all jails that meet the standards that they want and then be able to do that affordably. Now, Colorado does have the money. I mean, we have the money in the ground. We can pull that out with our… severance taxes and we can pay for a lot of these programs we can uh we could do our own virgin version of doge and get rid of uh you know tons of wasteful spending where i would start of course is in the uh the green the green energy uh uh fraud so um but those those were two uh two in particular and then that we should have dealt with better the first time But like I said, the bill mill just keeps grinding and grinding and grinding. It doesn’t want to slow down. And 120 bills coming this week, that’s daunting right there.
SPEAKER 10 :
It really is for all that you’re doing down there. Now, there was another one, House Bill 25-1035, that you were concerned about. It’s called the changes to the collaborative management program. And you pulled out something regarding release of records that you were concerned about.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, 1035, you know, and I don’t know how we’d get to the actual, you know, history of it. I suppose I could CORA it. But it was, you know, you can see what the bill is, you know, kind of taking these multiple programs, kind of merging them together, create some efficiencies. Seems to make sense. Brandy wasn’t opposed, but at the last minute – you know, they added in committee when they do amendments, they added in this part where a child, youth, or family can release the medical records. Nothing will stand and nothing will preclude them from releasing medical records. So when you look at it, it’s like, well, okay, so nothing would preclude a child from releasing his medical records. Well, that is a very dangerous thing. that’s a very dangerous place to be because the, uh, you know, who knows what the medical records would be, who knows why somebody would want a child to release those medical records. And of course, you know, once the medical records have been released into, uh, you know, they become somebody else’s property. They, uh, you know, it’s not just a matter of them using them. It’s a matter of releasing them. They have, they have control of them. They have the information and, um, You know, we’re stepping very far outside of the protections of HIPAA and stepping outside the protections of HIPAA specifically targeted at children and youth. So I asked OLLS, I said, well, what is the definition of mainly it was on family, and they came back with child and youth as well, because I could find a definition for close family here. which was like parents and guardians. But this 1035 references specifically just as family. And family can be aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, you know, a family member with, you know, there’s just no solid definition in that title. Youth and children also have very ranging. Sometimes youth is less than 26. Sometimes it’s less than 25. Sometimes it’s less than 18. And then children, there’s less than 12. A child might be less than 18. So I’ll have to send that to you as well because it really highlights the inconsistencies. We have CRS that use words that do not have common or standard definitions.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, and the concern on this, and we see this on a regular basis, is giving children rights, overriding parental rights. So I think that’s probably your concern with this particular language. And that was added in late, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes, this is all very much around the age of consent where leading to more and degrading more and more a child’s age of consent. I don’t remember the bill, but a couple years ago it was regarding what they consider reproductive services. Of course, basically eliminating any bottom age on there for which a child could consent to reproductive services, which of course is fed aside, but it also included sterilization. And that was, I would say that was leading towards the surgeries and the genital mutilation surgeries that hopefully the executive orders will bring a halt to.
SPEAKER 10 :
Wow. Okay. And, boy, with so many bills, to be able to see these little things that then become law is really – it takes a lot of work to recognize that representative to graph. Now, I wanted to change gears just a little bit. You have been – all over this whole green energy agenda. And what I’ve learned is the green in the Green New Deal is the green that’s going into politicians and bureaucrats and interested parties’ pockets. And so you had a piece that was recently published at Complete Colorado. It says the SMART Act hearing puts costly Colorado climate policy in question. So just give us a little bit of info about that.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, the… Well, my piece doesn’t do near the justice of your video or your movie that you did, so we’ll put it in perspective. But the cost, we are spending hundreds of millions of dollars. We’re leaving money in the ground for severance taxes, yet the governor and – The General Assembly wants to balance the budget on the severance taxes while making it more and more difficult to get that money out of the ground. And there’s a continual push to lower carbon emission standards. Well, if you just do very simple math that carbon dioxide is – 0.04% of the atmosphere contributes less than 10% to the greenhouse gas effects since it’s only about 2% of the relevant greenhouse gases because methane isn’t even relevant. Carbon dioxide isn’t relevant, and methane is about a thousandth of that or a hundredth. You know, when you look at that, there are over 3200 billion tons of CO2 in the atmosphere in that Colorado. generates in total about 0.125. So you really have to… So if you just put those things into perspective, if Colorado went net zero, and there’s much dispute on whether the greenhouse gases are even what causes the temperature increase. It’s probably more related to the atmospheric pressure. That it is… That… it would change about one ten-thousandth of a degree. So we’re looking at bilking the citizens of the United States for about $12,000 per person per year, and that would change the temperature. If you did all 50 states, I suppose, maybe 50 ten-thousandths or five-thousandths of a degree. So you’re not looking at any sort of meaningful reduction in temperature. And they know this. The governor knows it. The Colorado Energy Office knows it. And then in the SMART hearing, when I asked, Dr. Tour just went into a kind of a tangent of even if it wasn’t a climate benefit, there were a lot of other benefits that came from limiting carbon dioxide, which, of course, is a fallacy. And you could achieve those all without imposing the energy costs that are imposed by the Green New Deal. And you’re absolutely right. The only thing green about it is the money that’s going into politicians’ pockets. So my friends in the aviation business and the trucking business, it’s like, you know, go burn that truck. go burn that gas and, uh, make the, uh, make the grass grow.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay. Well, representative to graph, I appreciate, uh, the work that you’re doing down there, uh, at the state house. And, uh, so pleased that you, um, we’re 2024 Colorado union of taxpayer guardian. That is a big deal. And we really do appreciate it. So, uh, I know fasten your seatbelt. You’re ready for another week down at the state house.

This is a pretty big deal. and this is from krdo says the woodland park school board votes to recognize only two sexes and rejects gender ideology and these school boards are being threatened with lawsuits if in fact they do this and so this was um really a big deal that they have done this and um It’s time that we finally get some sanity into what is happening in our school districts. And it is just, I think, my congratulations to Woodland Park for coming in here with some real common sense. Pleased to have on the line with me Dr. Everett Piper. And the first one was regarding Donald Trump’s speech, his inaugural speech. And this was in the Washington Times. It says, while Trump celebrated our nation during his inaugural speech, Democrats sat and stared. And a really interesting perspective that you have here. So where would you like to begin?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I just think this is kind of a snapshot of the difference between one political family in the United States right now and the other. And when I say that, I’m referring to the Democrat being a family, a party, and then all others, independents, Republicans, constitutionalists, et cetera. And what I thought was stunning, just stunning during the inaugural speech that Donald Trump delivered, was how the Democrats who sat on the stage with him, those that sat to his left, if you watched the inaugural speech, you had Barack Obama, you had Jill and Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and her husband, and Bill and Hillary Clinton. And when Donald Trump spoke of freedom for all people, whether you’re black or white, whether you’re male or female, they sat and they stared. When he spoke of From this point forward in the United States of America, there will only be a male and female, something all of us, all of us, regardless of political stripe, would have acknowledged five minutes ago in human history when he said that henceforth we’re going to honor women and that women will be treated as objective realities, as facts, if you will, rather than fabrications and feelings of dysphoric males. They sat and they stared. When he talked about being a colorblind society and that we will judge people by the content of their character. Quoting the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., when he quoted Dr. King, the Democrat Party leadership sat and stared. Everything he said, they sat and stared. Now, if he would have been doubling down on his political agenda, which I guess there were a couple points during the inaugural speech where he did, I can appreciate the fact that Democrats might not want to applaud a specific agenda that’s contrary to their stated values. But 90%, if not more, of what Donald Trump spoke of during his inaugural address, every thinking human being should be able to agree with, that we will judge people by their character, not the color of the skin, that America should represent freedom and security for all people, regardless of race, regardless of creed, regardless of sex, that America will be a place that protects its borders. Why is that controversial? Why would anybody sit on their hands and stare when the president of the United States says, I’m going to uphold my oath of office and guard and protect the borders of our country? Why is that a controversial thing to say? When the president says he’s going to enforce the existing laws, the laws that are on the books with regard to immigration and have been on the books for decades, why is this controversial? Why does the Democrat Party sit and stare? You know, Dr. King once said that when you fail to stand for justice, when you fail to stand for what’s right, when you fail to stand for what’s true, you’re dead. Your soul dies. And I think what we just saw was the Democrat Party acknowledging via their leadership that their soul is dead, that they don’t stand for anything. And when you don’t stand for anything, you’ll fall for everything. And indeed, that seems to be the case. the snapshot, the snapshot in time that we witnessed during Donald Trump’s inaugural address.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, Dr. Piper, there was a recent, I mentioned it earlier in the show, a New York Times poll that they reported, I think it was New York Times, maybe working with a polling company, that says that the Democrat Party is out of step with what people care about here in the United States. And when it comes down to people’s own personal economy, that’s one of the first things that really matters. And with the prices at the grocery store and at the gas pump and all of that is because of public policy, people are realizing it and That’s why I think Donald Trump was elected is because this Democrat Party is not the Democrat Party of your grandparents or JFK. This is a Democrat Party is taken over by radical activist extremist ideologues. And those are the ones that were sitting on the stage and that were staring.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, absolutely. And I think proof to your point is the fact that two Democrats that Donald Trump has nominated to serve on his cabinet, RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, two individuals who have run as Democrats for the presidency of the United States. The Democrat Party is the most venomous and vitriolic. The Democrats are those that are most opposed to these old guard Democrats that actually have an ability to think politically and set aside for the good of the public. I don’t agree with JFK Jr. on a lot, but what I’m impressed with is that he’s willing to set aside some of the things that he knows that Republicans will not embrace and will not support. He’s setting those aside for the sake of just trying to make our country healthier again by getting the poison out of our food and the poison out of our vaccinations, etc., and giving us freedom to choose healthier food and freedom to choose what medications we want and don’t want in our bodies. Most people, if not almost all, rational people can agree with that, but Democrats are opposed to him, and rabidly so. Why? I would argue it’s because they’re angry that somebody dared contradict their leadership, their agenda, their woke, progressive ideology. Somebody dared to contradict that and woe be unto him who dares jump ship. Tulsi Gabbard, they hate Tulsi Gabbard. Why? Because she took on the establishment. She called Hillary Clinton out for being who she is, and they’ll never forgive Tulsi Gabbard for doing so. So the Democrat party of her grandpa, maybe Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr. represent that, but that party is dead. And the proof of it is they have treated Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr. as anathema. They’ve cast them out. They despise them more than they do Marco Rubio. This is the irony of the Democrat Party right now.

So if you’re saying that the Democrat Party is dead, what do you think that means for the future for politics in America?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I think there’s two possibilities. One, we need to be careful that the pendulum always swings in leadership. When I was president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, I had an agenda. I had a style. I had a way of communicating. You could guarantee it. As sure as the cows are going to come home in the morning, you could guarantee it that the leadership that followed me would represent swinging the pendulum back a little bit and correcting for some of my weaknesses, but yet perhaps not forgetting some of my strengths. That happens in leadership. We need to be careful right now not to celebrate too long and too aggressively with regard to this Donald Trump win. And I’m not a Trumper per se. Some of the people that are listening right now know that I’ve been criticized robustly by the pro-Trump card because I’ve dared to call Donald Trump out when I think he’s wrong. And I think conservatives should be willing to do that. So if we want to continue to be leaders, as we have been given the baton to do so right now, we need to recognize that there are – Times when conservatives need to call their leadership out and say, no, we disagree with this. We’re not going to go along with that. Celebrate our leaders when they’re right, but criticize them when they’re wrong. Conservatives should be able to do that because we vote for a constitution, not a king. We vote for principles, not a person. Conservatives should conserve the time-tested truth. And the only way you can do that is speak truth to power, even your own power base is and tell them that you disagree if you think they’re going down the wrong path. So if we do that, I think the American people will respect us for doing that, and we’ll get their vote again. But if we don’t, watch out. The pendulum will swing back the other way, and the Democrats are just waiting for the Trump administration to fail at X or Y or Z, and then they’ll call for the pendulum to swing dramatically back the other direction, perhaps even further than it was with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and that’ll be a very dangerous time.

That would be a very dangerous time. Absolutely. And so we’re going to continue the discussion with Dr. Everett Piper. And he has a piece that was recently published, Questions for Bishop, is it Booty and the Church of Never Trump or Buddy? I’m not sure how you pronounce that, Dr. Piper.

You know, I’m not sure either, but I think everybody knows who we’re talking about. I pronounce it Boudet, but I could be wrong. It’s Bishop Marianne Boudet. She’s the Episcopal priest, the bishop that spoke at the National Cathedral. And as everyone knows, she scolded Donald Trump and J.D. Vance for essentially what she was terming putting fear into the lives of so many Americans and causing violence. consternation and concern in the lives of those immigrants that are here illegally. So I wrote a piece responding to that because it seems like, especially if you’re politically left or, you know, even if you’re in the middle and you lean a little bit on the progressive side, even within the church, Everybody seems to be rushing to the bishop’s side and saying, well, yes, you know, the Bible calls upon us to welcome the sojourner and the foreigner in our midst. Leviticus 19, verses 33 and 34 are very clear that we must do that. So the bishop is right, and Donald Trump is wrong, and J.D. Vance is wrong, and these Trumpers are cruel, heartless people that are doing— that hold ill will for those that disagree with them, especially the illegal immigrant among us. And I just think that is incredibly ridiculous. It’s unbiblical, number one. I mean, you’ve got the general superintendent of the Wesleyan Church, which is supposedly a conservative holiness church. Wayne Schmidt is his name. He’s saying that his denomination is experiencing great, quote, anxiety and uncertainty because the president intends to enforce the law. You’ve got the Free Methodist General Board, the Free Methodist Church, a smaller holiness denomination offshoot of the Methodist Church. They’re saying that there’s deep concern. for the very real pain that members of their community are experiencing. Then you have the Catholic Archbishop, Timothy Broglio. He’s saying that the United States policies to enforce the law are deeply troubling. And Mark Seitz, he’s a bishop of the Catholic Church. He’s on the Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Committee for Migration. He indicated that he thinks it’s a fundamental right of every human person to be respected and that Donald Trump and J.D. Vance and the Trumpers and MAGA are disrespecting human persons. And, of course, we’ve seen Pope Francis. He’s calling Donald Trump’s administration a disgrace. So I have a question. As you know, I’ve got multiple questions of these people who are saying this. What is so bad about Trump? trying to attend to the need, showing compassion to the 300,000 children who have been trafficked by cartels into the heartland of America. These children are now missing. So why is that bad? Because that’s what we want to do. That’s what MAGA is trying to stop. That’s what Donald Trump is going to address. He’s going to stop this child trafficking across our southern border. Even the Democrats admit that we’ve lost 300,000 children. We don’t know where they are. How about the quarter of a million people who have been killed by fentanyl? Shouldn’t we have mercy and care for them? What about deep concern for the tens of thousands of women who have been forced into prostitution? That’s a fact. Everybody knows it. And what about the blue-collar folks of Springfield, Ohio? Do we feel real pain for them because they’ve lost their neighborhoods and their public parks and their local schools and their security and their fundamental property rights? At the hands of thousands of vagrants who have been trucked, bused into their community and are literally camping out on their front yards and on their local streets. What about these blue collar folks? Don’t we have compassion, care and mercy for them? And what about the people in your backyard or at least close to your backyard out there in Colorado, Aurora, Colorado, the Hispanic Americans? who have suffered the loss of their safety at the hands of violent gangs who have infiltrated their community and even taken over local hotels. I could go on and on and on. What about the rancher on the southern border who’s losing his cattle and his livestock and his livelihood? His very livelihood is being lost. because of these terrible policies that we’ve had for the last four years? What about all the women who fear that they could be like Lincoln Riley and therefore they don’t want to go for a jog on their college campus or in the local park? Don’t we have care and compassion for them? Don’t we feel some anxiety for those women? And how about all the working blue collar, perhaps middle class or below in Chicago and Los Angeles and New York? What about their freedom, their security? What about their property? What about their schools? Do we care about these people who have been victimized by the foolhardy policies of the Biden administration? If you want to talk about care and compassion, fine. But then I’ve got this for the bishop and all those other progressive Christians that I’ve cited here that are aligning with the bishop of the National Cathedral. What have you done? Have you torn down the fence around your backyard? Have you removed the locks from your front door? Have you stopped locking your car? Have you opened up your kitchen to all comers that can come in, open the fridge and have a snack regardless of who they are? Are you allowing illegals to live in your home, to take over your guest rooms and to live next to your children with no questions asked? Have you done all of that? Well, if you haven’t, If you haven’t done all that, I’d suggest that you’re basically saying, do as I do, excuse me, do as I say, not as I do, and you’re kind of just a sanctimonious hypocrite. And by the way, by the way, the Bible does not say, Leviticus does not say that we are to welcome the person who flaunts our laws. The book of Nehemiah is about building a wall to keep those people out of Jerusalem, right? Go read the book of Nehemiah and recognize that in the Hebrew language, there are three different words for foreigner. There’s ger, G-E-R, there’s zar, Z-A-R, and there’s nekar, N-E-K-H-R. Those three words represent the foreigner. Now, only one of those words, G-E-R, represents the legal immigrant who enters your country legally, complies with the laws of entry, and then also obeys all the laws once in the country with the intent of staying and becoming a naturalized citizen. That’s the person. That’s the person that the Bible is talking about, not the person who ignores all those laws. And even czar and the car, the other two words, represent a traveler or a tourist or somebody who’s going through the country on a temporary visa, if you will, or a green card for business purposes. Those are the people that the Ger and the Tsar and the Nicar are talking about. It’s not talking about the enemy that infiltrates the country, breaks down the walls, and then tries to circumvent and undo the very culture and the very fabric of the country that he has entered into. The Bible does not call for honoring that. And by the way, if the Pope disagrees with what I just said, then they should tear down the walls of the Vatican and get rid of the Swiss Guard and give all the papal apartments over to illegal immigrants. Then and only then am I going to take him seriously.

Or if we’re borrowing it, we’re borrowing it from our children’s future. Because you cannot give something to someone that you have not first taken from someone else. And I’m talking with Roger Mangan with the Roger Mangan State Farm Insurance Team. And people here in Colorado are concerned about these California wildfires and how they are going to impact us. So what would you say to that, Roger?

well it will have an impact on several insurance companies state farms a little different of course it has an impact but that impact hits us differently than other companies let me give you a little background on what’s happened as of january 21st in terms of state firms contact and filing of claims to this up to this date the 21st of january we will have paid out nine We will have set up 9,000 claims and paid out $150 million. 96% of State Farm insurance have acted. Interestingly enough, that contact really is constituted more by media messaging because there’s with people other than through the mainstream media. Now State Farm is the largest insurer in LA County and has been there since 1928 with 2,000 State Farm agents. And 8 million policies. So wow, 8 million. That’s a lot of policy. So how much of a loss are we going to take? We have no idea at this point, but the point is we are there. We’re there helping people. We assure over a million homes in the high risk areas of LA County. And certain zip codes in California. We did not renew policies. If you might remember, we’ve got some bad trash suspect in 2023. We not renewed 2% of those policies, which was about 72,000 policies out of a million. So keep in mind that State Farm is running a business and we have to reduce our exposure. So we did along with other companies doing the same thing. And basically people in Colorado should understand the construct in terms of how a State Farm is organized itself. We have a general company in California, which is not attached to State Farm that we have here in Colorado. So that general company collects premiums and then buys insurance, excessive coverage from State Farm itself. So if we have a loss in California and in California, let’s say it bankrupts the State Farm General Fire Company, which conceivably it could do, depending on the severity of claims, and that remains to be seen. So they have reinsurance through State Farm, Mother Mutual back in Bloomington, Illinois. So they stand alone. These companies stand alone. They are not attached to State Farm insurance. They’re independently standalone companies. So if they go belly up, then State Farm is going to go belly up. So I just wanted you as a listener to understand that. I want you to please keep in mind that State Farm is uniquely positioned compared to most other insurance companies in that. State Farm is not a stock company. We’re a mutual company. We’re not answerable to any stockholders. So when we make decisions relative to our policyholder group, We have them in mind first before we have to pay dividends to shareholders like most other insurance companies. So what happens is we’re insulated from pressures that other insurance companies are not. That’s a good thing and that helps us in Colorado. Now, to give you an example what the issue is in California, California is a regulated company. Before a company The insurance company can increase rates. It needs permission from the insurance authorities in California. What happened is in 2020 to 2021, the cost went up 25% in terms of claim costs in California. The authorities in California only allowed a 4.6% rate increase. So you can see a company that had asked for a 25% adjustment or at least to cover part of that expense only got 4.6. They’re losing money. They can’t keep selling insurance with those ratios in mind. So again, important to know in Colorado, we are a file and use state. What that means is we file our rates. We don’t need permission from the insurance commissioner. the insurance authorities in colorado we file them we use them and if they are too high competition will knock that down by us not running business and we’re regulated by the consumer who looks at that rate and says votes yes or votes no on our rates so we have two concepts we have a controlled rate environment in california and many many years Insurance companies have been denied rate increases in California, therefore have left or have not been able to pay claims, and therefore they eventually leave. In Colorado, that’s not the case.

And we need to lower this debt, take a look at what we’re spending from a federal budget standpoint. And so I wanted to talk with Dr. Paul Prentice about that. He’s a professional economist. He’s retired after a 45-year career in government, business, and academia. He was an economic advisor to President Reagan. Thank you so much for having me. He helped found the El Paso County Tea Party, was a fellow at the Sentinel Institute at Colorado Christian University, and he’s also served on the Board of Advisors of the Bastiat Society of Colorado. And he’s now serving as a senior fellow at the Independence Institute here in Denver, an associate scholar of the Ludwig von Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama. So he probably knows what he’s talking about. Dr. Prentice, welcome to the show.

Good morning, Kim. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER 10 :
Really impressive resume on this. And this is such an important issue. We’ve been spinning ourselves into oblivion here in America. And Donald Trump wants to get that turned around. So what do you see regarding the federal budget and how can we slow down this debt, lower this debt? Because if we don’t, we’re headed towards disaster, I think.
SPEAKER 04 :
I would agree, Kim. I’d like to start off with some basic definitions and then a little history of the federal budget and the deficit and the debt. And then I’d like to dispel two major myths that are out there about this. And then we’ll see if we have time to talk about some other things. Okay, let’s do it. Okay. First of all, the federal budget, as with the family budget, consists of Revenue coming in and expenditures going out, right? So the federal budget is revenue minus expenditures. And when expenditures exceed revenue, that’s what’s called a deficit. And if you accumulate all the deficits year after year after year, you add each year’s new deficit to the existing amount of outstanding debt. So when you look at debt, it’s the summation of all the cumulative deficits over all the years. So those are our basic definitions. I would note to your listeners that the founders made both a moral argument against federal debt as well as a financial argument. The moral argument was made primarily by Thomas Jefferson. He said federal debt was basically swindling future generations, and he said that in 1816. And so the founding fathers, the founding generation, if you will, They repaid all of the Revolutionary War debt. So there was no federal debt. After about 1830 or so, they had all been paid off. And that lasted for quite a while. There was no additional accumulation of federal debt until the Civil War in about 1860. And then the massive amount of debt was accumulated in the Civil War. And as with the Revolutionary War, that Civil War debt was paid down over the next 20 years or so. So we had a very low debt level in 1915 or so. And then World War I. And what was different about World War I following World War I was prior to World War I, the institution known as the Federal Reserve, was put into place. And we had, for the first time, we had a system of instead of hard money, we had a system of debt disguised as money. So very interesting. After World War I, we did not pay off the World War I debt. We only paid off less than half of it. And that was followed. So we kept all this massive debt, accumulating debt, accumulating debt. And then the spending for the Great Depression and World War II just exploded. our federal debt, and we didn’t pay off all of that either. And then we come to LBJ’s Great Society in the late 1960s, trying to pay for both the Vietnam War and the new entitlement programs, and that started to explode again. Where we are today is shocking. I mean, the numbers… I went through a lot of analysis. I built a spreadsheet. I did some graphing. And, Tim, it’s just staggering, staggering what’s happened to debt. So I would like to make the claim that the problem is not the revenue. There’s plenty of revenue. In fact, Washington, D.C. is awash in our tax revenue. The problem is on the spending. And if we don’t tackle the spending side, the economy will eventually collapse and America will eventually collapse. It’s an existential threat, in my opinion. We’re now at about $37 trillion of debt, and we only have GDP of about $30 trillion. So we have more debt than we have actually income being generated every year, and that’s completely unsustainable. And it looks like we’re on path, unless President Trump can turn this around, to have… Additional deficits where every year the federal government spends about $2 trillion more than it takes in and adds that much to the debt every year as far as the eye can see. So we’ve got a very difficult, very dangerous situation here. And that’s kind of the history of where we are and a little bit of how we got here.
SPEAKER 10 :
So Donald Trump is taking actions. This has been really interesting watching this regarding federal workers and this buyout for them. What do you think about that, Dr. Prentice?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, that would increase spending in the short run because of the buyout, but it would reduce it over time. Um, but it’s not enough. It’s just not enough. The numbers are so staggering. Uh, we’re currently spending about $7 trillion on the federal federal budget, and we’re only generating $5 trillion in revenue. So it’s a good start and I wish Doge all the best, but there’s so much to this that it’s, uh, it’s, it’s gotta be very serious. I’d heard over the weekend that there was a meeting of Republican leaders in Mar-a-Lago that they promised to cut something like $360 billion from current spending. And if you look at the fine print, that’s over 10 years. So it’s like $36 billion a year they’re cutting out of a $2 trillion annual deficit. This is a joke. These people are not serious. I call them the political ruling class of both parties. Some other people call them our sociopathic overlords. but something has got to change, and President Trump has got to get a firm handle on this. My main disappointment in his first term, it was fabulous in a lot of ways, but he did not control spending. He just let everything get out of control, and so I hope he’s learned a lesson on that.
SPEAKER 10 :
So where can we cut? As you’ve looked at the budget, where could we cut? Because the first thing that politicians will say is they’ll say that the sacred cows such as Social Security and Medicare are on the table. So what would you say to that, Dr. Prentice?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, that’s one of the myths that the political ruling class likes to pull over on us. They break the budget into what they call the expending into discretionary spending where they have to vote every year on the line items or on the total budget versus non-discretionary spending, which is spending that’s allocated by some preexisting formula. And they actually pretend that they have no control over the non-discretionary spending, which means the people have no control in their view over the spending. But of course they can. They can allocate things differently in non-discretionary. They can change the formulas. They can adapt. They can make changes. Certainly, Social Security and Medicare have to be addressed, but there’s plenty of money in the federal budget if they would just stop the wasteful fraud and abuse spending. I’ll go into a couple of extreme examples just in a few minutes, but the idea of discretionary versus non-discretionary spending is a myth. It’s all discretionary. It just depends on whether you want to pass a new law or not.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay. I’m talking with Dr. Paul Prentice regarding the federal budget strategies for lowering and slowing this debt, which we’ve got to do this. We are in such a dangerous time regarding the finances of America. And, of course, last week we talked with General Joe Arbuckle regarding enemies abroad. And This is we’re in a very disruptive time right now, which we have to be. And this is this is difficult as we are going through and asking these hard questions. But we have a duty to ask these questions, my friends, because what has been given to us in this American idea by our founders is. is at great risk right now because of all of these decisions. Dr. Prentice, you had mentioned the words wasteful defraud and wasteful spending. Or maybe you didn’t use the word defraud, but I think that we have been defrauded by a bunch of this spending. So getting that under control, what does that number look like? How far will that go towards the $2 trillion in deficits?
SPEAKER 1 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
I would argue that almost all the federal budget is waste, fraud, and aviar. Okay. But we certainly need some military. The defense budget is naturally part of the constitutionally allowed spending, but almost everything else that’s being spent by the federal government is unconstitutional. Back to your question that what can we cut or what can we do, we don’t necessarily have to cut anything if we just stop the increase. Tim, if we just hold the line on the federal budget, we could grow out of this problem because revenue would come in as the economy keeps growing year after year after year. But the problem is up until now, and including 2024, for every dollar of new revenue the federal government took in, they spent $1.26. And you can’t do that as a household, and you can’t do that as a collection of households known as a nation state. What are the line items? There’s a huge political battle going to be here as to what’s hold the line, what gets spent, what gets not spent. And I don’t want to focus on that so much as a higher level concept known as baseline budgeting versus base budgeting, if that’s okay. It sounds a little arcane, sure, but it’s important. The federal budget, when you’re in the federal agencies, let’s say this coming year, You would typically take last year’s budget, then you’d add your new appropriations onto this. So the last year, the previous year, becomes the baseline from which you grow. Another way to do budgeting, a more sane way in my opinion, is to do zero-based budgeting, where every year you have to justify every single program from the start of the very first dollar. The problem with baseline budgeting is everything gets locked in. When George W. Bush and then Barack Obama increased spending by a trillion dollars approximately to bail out the banks from the recession of 08, 09, 10, that trillion dollars of spending did not go away. It just got shifted to different programs and agencies, and that trillion was in the budget every year since 2010. The same with COVID. There was $2 trillion of additional spending in 2020 from COVID. And guess what? COVID’s been over for several years now, but that $2 trillion was spent in 2020, spent in 2021, 22, 23, and 24. They’re still spending that $2 trillion because it’s become part of the baseline. These people are – I don’t know. President Reagan once said to say that Congress spends like drunken sailors is an insult to drunken sailors. The numbers are shocking, Kim. The numbers are just shocking, and we cannot continue like this. We cannot.
SPEAKER 10 :
So what do you think about Trump’s this buyout regarding federal workers? Certainly, there’s a big disruption on that. And, you know, there are people that are working for the federal government. They have house payments and What do you think about all that? Because this is certainly disrupting a whole bunch of or putting a concern in a number of people’s lives. So what do you think about that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Sure. First, there’s no guarantee to anything. employment in the private sector. There should be no guarantee to employment in the public sector. If you’re not doing something useful, you should not get paid. You should find a job that is useful somewhere. The proposal, Trump’s proposal to buy out the federal workers includes either a six, I can’t remember, or a nine-month buyout.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I think it was seven months maybe. Okay, so let’s say seven months.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, you know, you’ve got to notice that you’re going to be laid off in seven months. You’ve got seven months to find a new life. That’s plenty of time for any rational, functioning human being.
SPEAKER 10 :
And do you think that this would really make a difference regarding the federal budget?
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, sure. Absolutely, yeah. It’s a lot of money. I don’t know the total, but it’s a lot of money that would be paid out in advance for people – that are not necessarily going to work, but they weren’t working anyway. Let’s remember that. I was there. Okay. So then going forward after that’s done, that would be a line item that would be lower than the year before. But the baseline budgeting is just going to be, unless something happens to the baseline budgeting, these agencies keep playing a game we call them in D.C., Under Reagan, every agency played a game called, quote, capture the baseline. As the budget comes around, you have to capture last year’s spending as a base and then increase it from that. So this would be a break from that kind of thinking and certainly would be closer to zero-based budgeting. But still, it’s just the tip of the iceberg. It’s the tip of the iceberg.
SPEAKER 10 :
And so if we froze federal spending right now, and that is something really that Congress should do. It should not be executive order, but there’s not been the political will to do that, correct?
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. Yeah, the one thing that I certainly hope for our future is that all these executive orders that President Trump is putting into place can be turned into legislation, because if not that, then the very next administration could just overturn them again the way Biden did. So let’s have a big push for our legislators to make some of these things into legislation. And they can. They act like they can’t control something, but of course they control it. That’s their job.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, so with this, you think that it, so I think I’m hearing this, Dr. Prentice, freeze spending would be, so do that, number one, freeze spending, go after this wasteful fraud and abuse spending as well, and then get this economy really growing, and we should be able to grow our way in, out of these deficits and this debt, right? Now, that’s a tall order, but that seems like that’s what I hear you say.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, Kim, we are close to the tipping point, but we’re not over it yet. There is still time to get this done. There’s time for some strong leadership. And certainly we have that in President Trump, but he did not exhibit that during his first term. So we will see. I think he’s more serious now. And I just wish we had senators and congressmen that would take it as seriously. I could just encourage your listeners to keep mailing and emailing and calling every single state senator, every one of our U.S. senators from Colorado, as well as our representatives from Colorado, and just tell them this phrase that John Caldera made up during the debate over Referendum C on our table here in Colorado. He made a bumper sticker called, it’s the spending, stupid. So if we could just get that idea across, there is plenty of revenue. We are awash in revenue, $5 trillion in revenue, but they want to spend seven. So if they could just hold the line on that, hopefully even cut it, then we could certainly grow our way out of it. It’s not too late.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, that’s good to know. And what about Colorado? Are you watching Colorado at all? Because I really think that Colorado is at the tip of the spear with all the radical activists, extremists that now control the statehouse and the governor’s mansion.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, the similar thing happened after we had a bipartisan deal in Colorado to do a Tabor timeout. And they just kept spending, and every year they kept spending more and more and more and more. What’s called real per capita spending, which was supposed to be frozen under Tabor, has maybe doubled in the last 20 years. So there’s just the shreds of it that are left there is what’s keeping us from being California. But it’s bad. It’s not just the spending people have to think of. It’s much more than the top line budget. It’s the actual programs. And as you mentioned, the programs are the poison here. What is it being spent on? For the federal government, bridge to nowhere. For Colorado, money for roads that never gets fixed. In the federal budget, that’s $50 million for condoms in Gaza. I did some demographic math on that. It turns out to be about 450 condoms for every adult male in Gaza. That’s what our tax money is paying for. Just one tiny example of this massive out of control. And there’s examples of that all throughout the state budget as well, of course.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, you bring up something that I’ve been watching, and that is government grants, if you will. I’d seen that headline regarding $50 million for condoms in Gaza, but I thought that can’t be real. But you sourced that. That’s true?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. Yes, it is. And I looked up the Gaza population, and I got the adult population out of that, and then cut that in half the number of adult males. And it’s estimated about $90 per adult male. And I could go on Amazon. And retail, buy a box of 50 condoms for $10. So it’s just those people are busy, I guess. I don’t know what. Wow.
SPEAKER 10 :
So this is something that I think that, and as one of our listeners, Jenny, has said, that government grant money to local, county, and state governments, as well as all of these interested parties, is basically like crack cocaine to a An addict. And and we need to I think we need to stop all of these grant programs. And in fact, we’ve had a lot of conversations. I’m going to talk about it the next segment regarding these different programs. quote unquote, religious organizations that have received so much money and facilitated illegal immigration into our country. And certainly we’ve heard about Catholic charities. But I had I had been on the board of Lutheran Family Services back in the 90s, late 90s, early 2000s. And I was connecting the dots. I couldn’t quite figure it. I thought it was a charity and we were welcoming Christians in that had been persecuted. But then I realized that it wasn’t that was not necessarily the case. There was government money involved in it. And one of my listeners sent this over that LIRS, that’s the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services. received over $367 million to facilitate these people coming into our country illegally. And so we’ve got to quit doing all this grant money, because a lot of this grant money is being used to push ideological agendas that doesn’t have Americans’ best interests in mind. What’s your thoughts on that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, it’s true. Those grants, we are paying for our own destruction. I believe Catholic Charities is even worse than Lutheran. I think there’s about $2 billion of federal grants, maybe more, and that is being spent on child trafficking. So I don’t donate to my church anymore. I’m a Catholic and I don’t donate at all because I don’t want one penny of that going to support child trafficking across the border.
SPEAKER 10 :
Right, because there’s over 300,000 children that have come across the border, and they’re missing, and that’s unconscionable, Dr. Prentice. Yes, ma’am. Yes. So wrap this up, then, on what to do exactly, and where can people find you?
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. They can’t find me because I’m in retirement. Okay. The independence Institute would have a link to my, to my email address. If you look up the what’s called the senior fellows there. So that’s one way probably email would be the best way to reach me, but I don’t do social media. I actually quit it about 15 years ago. I got off, off of everything from Facebook to Twitter and,

Okay. Well, thank you for sharing this with us. And so, again, the takeaways, how we can address this spending and get us back in a healthy financial standpoint. Whoops, Dr. Prentice, I missed that. So just wrap this up. What’s the conclusion?
SPEAKER 04 :
The conclusion is we have to do something now. It’s not too late, but it’s very close to too late. We’ve got to just stop the spending. Just stop it. Cut the waste, fraud, and abuse, and from those savings, put it into programs that have to grow like Social Security and Medicare a little bit. But there is plenty of money. There is no lack of money in the federal government if they would just care about it. So I think the most important thing is to get the senators and legislators’ attention on this.
SPEAKER 10 :

He says, I was Doge before Doge was cool working a project that saved $25 million a year in perpetuity. And it affected all Air Force Space Command bases, including Thule in Greenland. And savings can easily be found but are difficult to implement. And another listener, Mark, said this. Yes, departments of defense and justice are all we need. All others are unconstitutional. And OK, this is government wage and price controls never work in the long run. Markets are stronger than governments. There is a piece of legislation here in Colorado that. I’ve got to find that number, and I can’t remember if that is for hearing this week, that is wanting to institute price controls, I think, in grocery stores. And that will lead to shortages. And so we’ve got to keep an eye on that. Let’s see here. Oh. In response to Dr. Piper, the reason that churches are against deportation is because I bet their NGO and are getting money from the government. And he I think that is correct. And Jenny said this regarding. Pastor Boudet, who in her in her prayer at the National Cathedral, really was very disrespectful to Donald Trump and to J.D. Vance. And Jenny normally is great about sourcing all this stuff. She said that Pastor Boudet’s diocese received fifty three million dollars in So that’s just how compassionate that is. Let’s see how, as Dr. Piper had said, are these people willing to not lock their doors? Are they willing to have people just come in and take food out of their refrigerator? Are they willing to put people into their extra bedrooms in their homes? And I would say probably the answer is no. And just as Dr. Piper said regarding the Pope, how about taking down the wall around the Vatican and getting rid of the Swiss Guard? I think that that’s really a good point. And so what it is, is they’re very hypocritical. They’re not using their own money for the, in air quotes, sojourner. They want to have these government programs that they’re making a lot of money off of. Okay, this is interesting. It says, if we actually had term limits, we might have more politicians willing to spend less of our money and more actually care about a balanced budget. I do not believe we have had a balanced budget since the 90s. I don’t know when was the last time that we had a balanced budget. But my concern is, is if we do term limits on politicians and don’t do term limits on bureaucrats, that that will only increase the power of bureaucrats. So we really need to address both at the same time. Ideally, the founders thought that we would address term limits at the ballot box. But as we see people that are incumbents continue to get elected and reelected, and I think a lot of it’s because we’ve gotten a little bit lazy as on our civic duty of knowing what is right. happening down of course i say that happening down at the state house which they are flooding the zone at the colorado state house right now when we talked with representative kindergraf in the first hour there were just under 300 bills that have been uh introduced here in colorado and as he said it is a bill mill and they’re just going through and going through and uh Here, we’re at 268 Colorado bills that have been introduced so far. There is no way that our legislators can have the time to read all those bills, to think about the consequences of what that would mean for the future. And so we here in Colorado are at the tip of the spear of all this craziness that’s going on. And that’s why I really would recommend that you join the Colorado Union of Taxpayers at coloradotaxpayer.org. and have an understanding of what is happening down at the State House, and then you can take action on these different items as well. And a couple of things, I wanted to make sure I mentioned the USMC Memorial Foundation, which they are raising the money for the remodel at the Marine Memorial. and remembering and honoring those that have given their lives, have been willing to give their lives for our freedom. And that website is usmcmemorialfoundation.org, usmcmemorialfoundation.org. And then also the Center for American Values is going to have a great event on the 12th of February, which is right around the corner. Andrew Dix, co-founder of the Center for American Values, will be presenting regarding Greenland. which is the real Cold War. So be sure and check that out and let them know if you’re planning on attending. And I don’t it doesn’t cost anything, but they do want to want to know what if you’re attending so that they can plan on that. And so let’s see. Richard said this last time we had a balanced budget was Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton. So thank you for the clarification on that. And he also said eight months of severance pay to federal workers that many of them don’t work anyhow. It’s plenty of time to make adjustments. I’ll just paraphrase that. Let’s see. Text line. Regarding these, well, I just can’t believe $50 million for condoms in Gaza. So somebody made a lot of money on that. Some NGO probably made a whole bunch of money on that. And this wasteful spending is just, we’ve got to get this under control. So we’ve got Ron on the line. We’ve got about a minute. Ron, what is on your radar?

Yeah, Kel. The stuff that they’re doing with this immigration, I’ve told you about the art of war. What they’re trying to do is they’re trying to get us to fight on numerous fronts. So they’ll have us fight with the people here. If anything should happen, we’d have to fight inside. And then you’d have to fight China, and then you’d have to fight the Arab countries or whoever or what other countries that they have in. So we’d have to fight in numerous fronts. And then they’re going to have – and they use these, you say, death by 1,000 cuts. That’s why they keep doing these bills to flood it, to keep you occupied so you can’t focus on the main problems.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I think that’s an excellent point. And it is really it is like whack a mole as we are watching all of this legislation. And it is it’s really it’s really difficult to do so. So, Ron, I think I’ve really thought a lot about this and elections really do matter. And we we we have a lot of work to do still regarding elections here in Colorado. Granted, it sounds like Trump is going to do something, but we’ve got to get our own house in order. And I’m just asking for guidance from the good Lord on what to do as our next step on that.
