The World Economic Forum’s agenda, the globalist elite’s agenda, United Nations, this legislature, this governor here in Colorado, land use codes, Zoning regulations, forest fees, conservation easements, national monument designations, transmission lines, easements, CO2 pipelines, this is all an assault upon property rights. And property rights are inherent in the American idea. Remember, if something’s a good idea, you shouldn’t have to force people to do it. Our word of the day is… I forgot to write the word down. It’s congruent. And it’s C-O-N-G-R-U-E-N-T. It could be similar to or in agreement with something so that the two things can both exist or can be combined without problems. An example they had is our goals are congruent. There is no conflict. And so your challenge is to use the word congruent in a word today. C-O-N-G-R-U-E-N-T. And our quote of the day is from G.K. Chesterton. He was born in 1874. He died in 1936. He was an English author, philosopher, Christian apologist, journalist and magazine editor, and literary and art critic. And that was before people just looked at their iPhones all the time. They got a lot of stuff done, Teresa. Chesterton created the fictional priest detective Father Brown and wrote on apologetics, which is a defense of the Christian faith, such as his works Orthodoxy and The Everlasting Man. And he said this, and my dad actually said something like this to me as well. He said, the problem of disbelieving in God is not that a man ends up believing in nothing. Alas, it is much worse. He ends up believing anything. And, boy, I think that we see that occurring right now here in Colorado. Ben Williams, I know that you are as concerned about our state as I am. And I think a couple of the headlines that I just wanted to mention was, first of all, there was this big power outage in Europe yesterday. And so I’m sure that things were pretty inconvenient because I remember one day that my electricity had gone out at my house and I was headed to a meeting. Actually, this was, well, gosh, it was a long time ago because Eric Trump was in town. And I’d been invited to go to meet with him, the meeting. And my garage door wouldn’t open. And so I had to go to Plan B because I definitely wanted to make it to that meeting. But regarding Europe, it says Spain rules out cyber attack as cause of major power cuts as travel chaos continues. I actually, and this is from BBC. I’m not sure that I, man, I’m getting so cynical in my old age. How could they already know that it wasn’t a cyber attack? You know what? I think that’s a little too quick on the.

You know, you had someone on your show a while back who was talking about how China has all these things implanted in our power grid. Right. Yep. Yeah.
SPEAKER 21 :
So I think that they need to do a little more research. But, of course, that’s what the headline is on that, Teresa. Next headline that I wanted to mention is that, let’s see, Trump hails the arrest of 100 suspected undocumented immigrants at the Underground Colorado Club. I guess that’s one way to get everybody is just go to the nightclub where they’re at, Teresa, right?
SPEAKER 14 :
Absolutely. Why not?
SPEAKER 21 :
That’ll do it. And then… Last thing is these crazy injunctions that we’re getting regarding from these activist judges. And this is from KNEWZ. It says the Supreme Court is taking up the issue of nationwide injunctions which have blocked Trump’s administration policies across the country. And so that’s going to be, I think, really important as well. And I had mentioned, and Holly Kaysen is going to be on the show on Friday. that we were raising money to help them with their appeal regarding stopping NGO lawfare. And thank you to all of you. We raised the money. So that’s super awesome. So they are working on that appeal. But also so interesting is the judge for their case is one of those judges that has signed on to being an activist judge. And so you won’t want to miss Holly’s explanation on everything that’s going on, and that’ll be on Friday.

Yeah, it’s going to be super interesting. Ben Williams with Ben’s Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling. We’re getting into soon. It’s going to be warmer. I think it’s a little cool out there today. But what should people be thinking about as we’re looking at warmer weather?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, there’s a few things that you want to keep in mind. First of all, you start out with the word of the day. I want to start out with a safety tip.
SPEAKER 20 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 11 :
So it’s really important to remember that squirrels and cigarettes are completely harmless until you put them in your mouth and light them on fire. Okay.
SPEAKER 05 :
All right.
SPEAKER 11 :
But, you know, one of the most common things that people run into this time of year, you’re starting to get out and working in the yard. And if maybe you moved here from a warmer state and you left your hose hooked up over the wintertime, chances are you’re going to have some water in the basement or the crawl space, whatever you’ve got. The hose bib where you hook up your hose is actually about 12 inches long. And there’s a rod that goes through there. So when you’re turning the handle, that rod is shutting water back off inside of your house where it’s warm. But if you leave a hose hooked up, it keeps water inside of that pipe. And so then when it freezes, you know, it’ll get a freeze break. Now, you don’t know that that’s happened until you turn the water on because now water is coming through that pipe that has a split in it. And a lot of times, you know, people might be out working in the yard all day Saturday. They come inside, maybe go downstairs and do a load of laundry and like, oh, my goodness.
SPEAKER 05 :

SPEAKER 11 :
The basement’s flooded. I must have a backed up sewer. So they call the Roto-Rooter guy. He comes out. Nope. Your sewer line’s clean. And then they call the plumber and… We find out that they have a split. So an easy way that you can determine if that has happened, just so you don’t have a lot of flooding damage, hook up a hose right now with a spray and attachment on it. Have the sprayer turned off so that it’s not letting water run out. Turn on your spigot. go inside and check, do you have water running down the wall? Or is there water coming out of the siding? And if not, you’re good to go. But that’s just something to be aware of. Also, you know, a lot of times the sprinkler systems will develop a split, maybe in the ball valve or in the pipe, right where it comes out of the house. And it’s not necessarily going to flood your house, but you have water all over in the front yard or the backyard, wherever your sprinkler system is located. So those are just things to be aware of. Also, with your air conditioner, this is a sweet time when you don’t really have to run the furnace so much or the air conditioner too much, which means it’s also a good time to have it checked, especially if you have cottonwood trees in the area. You know how that cottony stuff likes to float around and get in everything? If the coils are clogged up or coated, it’s not going to cool very well. And also, if you’re having somebody come out to check it, you want to have them check the start capacitor and the run capacitor. You measure that in microfarads, and it should be within a specific range. So the deal is, you might turn it on during pleasant weather. It’ll run okay, but then when the weather starts to heat up, the capacitor… it gets out of its range and then it’s like man this thing isn’t running that’s hot today what’s the deal okay so that’s something to check also if you have an air conditioner keep changing your filters throughout the summer the furnace filter oh really yeah a lot of times we think oh i i just need to change the filter for the furnace but the air runs through that same duct work through the same plenum when you’re running your air conditioner okay okay and so you want to make sure you change your filters how often should people do that A lot of it depends on the air quality of your home. If you have a lot of pets, there’s probably more dander floating through the air. If you have a lot of kids.
SPEAKER 14 :
So is that like every couple months? How often should they be changing those filters?
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, you probably remember during COVID how we were wearing our wonderful masks that protected us from all the evils of the world, right? Yeah. Yeah. And if you ever went into a dusty environment, you know, it might be like, man, I’ve only been here for an hour, but I need to change this out. Or maybe you could wear the same one for a few days. So, yeah, just check your filter. If it’s showing, you know, dust buildup on it, change that baby out.
SPEAKER 21 :
Okay. So, Ben, do you – I know you guys are pretty busy. So do you help people all over the metro area? Do you have a specific area that you like to work in?
SPEAKER 11 :
We work the general Denver metro area. We live out near Bennett, which is east of Aurora, about 20 miles. So, you know, it’s always sweet if somebody from Aurora calls, but we’ll work the general area.

And I think someone who, I’m trying to think how to get that. It’s incongruent what’s happening down at the statehouse. We’ve got former state senator Kevin Lundberg on the line. He is also the author of the Lundberg Report. Kevin, welcome.

Good morning.
SPEAKER 21 :
Yeah, good to have you. And we’re coming in on the last week or so on this legislative session. And tomorrow, it’s a little ugly down there with that 1312, yeah?
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah. Yeah, it’s quite a bit ugly with a whole lot of bills. But the one that has really risen to the top of people’s attention is 1312. And Deservedly so, because it’s such a bad bill requiring, first off, jeopardizing the custody of your own children if you don’t agree with their gender incongruence. That is just such a scary notion that actually… If you look at the practice here in Colorado, there are a lot of examples where families have, you know, parents have lost control of their kids because they refuse to go along with any transgender confusion that the child would have. Anyway, that’s the first thing, and then it digs into how schools handle things when it comes to transgender issues. And then it tops everything off with a blanket change in the anti-discrimination laws by saying if you deadname somebody, that means you call them by their actual legal name, but they wanted to take on a different persona with a different name, then that’s an automatic violation of the anti-discrimination laws in Colorado and California. It’s really a violation of the First Amendment. It’s forced speech issues. And you bundle that all together in 1312, and you see a very, very heavy-handed policy that’s designed to force-feed the whole transgender ideology onto all people in Colorado, particularly parents.
SPEAKER 21 :
Well, and Kevin, you’ve been watching this. So let’s set this up. So kids go to school. And we have a curriculum now that is really forced that little kids, first graders. Linda White said this on the call that Ben had organized. That there is curriculum that has to talk about contributions, I guess, of LGBTQ. And so one of the things is to highlight the fact that Jared Polis is gay and kids would learn that in first grade. And so then what’s the next question? What’s gay? So here you’ve got a teacher talking with children about instead of the ABCs talking about sex. And so this starts to get things going here. And then as as as you highlighted in the movie that you did regarding the Aaron Lee story, Aaron and John Lee and their family, which is artclubmovie.com. Everyone should watch that. They can watch it for free at artclubmovie.com. Unbeknownst to them, they think that their daughter, we’re coming out of COVID, she’s 12 years old. I remember being 12 years old. It was one of the most difficult times of my life. And 12 years old, shy, new school, says, hey, mom, can I go to art club after school? Of course, as a mom, you want your kids to get in there and get to know people. And it was a transgender indoctrination session. So, and then we’ve got the pronoun game that’s going on at school. And then we’ve got Planned Parenthood doing sex ed classes and schools. So these kids are bombarded with all of this. Parents don’t really know it. And then they come home and the daughter says, I think I’m a boy. And now the 1312 sets this all up. They’ve been indoctrinated all this time. And then the parents don’t know what to do. And we had Greg Veeder on yesterday. I don’t know if you heard the show, but he is a social worker, a psychotherapist. And in 2019, now I can’t remember the bill number, there was a bill that basically silenced therapists. that said that therapists had to affirm the gender delusion or confusion, and you had to do that. Otherwise, you can’t practice being a therapist. Now you fast forward to 1312 now. This agenda’s been playing long ball, Kevin.
SPEAKER 15 :
Oh, yeah. Yeah, you mentioned 2019. That was the year that several bills were put into place The one requiring all licensed counselors in Colorado to, for children, and this is the irony of the whole thing, it’s aimed at kids. But for children, they could not do anything of what they called conversion therapy. And there are a couple of really, really bad examples of somebody trying to deprogram somebody with real coercive action. But really what it means is exactly what you said. A counselor can’t work with a child to explore alternatives to this gender confusion that they can so easily be thrown into. Now, the other one, or one of the other bills that you alluded to, was a bill requiring what they called intersectionality in history. And that’s where they want to go back and dig deep and find out, well, let’s not talk about the major issues of the you know, the wars and the presidents and the establishment of states and the great migration towards the West that our country did in the 19th century and, you know, all of those elements of history. But let’s dig down and see if we can find somebody who maybe was a, exhibited some evidence of being transgender, which is really hard to find, frankly. But nonetheless, they forced this historical revisionism through this bill, and it required the Colorado Department of Education to completely renovate their standards for history teaching in this state. Now, here’s another one you didn’t mention, and I don’t remember the numbers. I’d have to look it up myself. But another bill allows child as young as 12 to make medical and psychological treatment decisions on their own without their parents’ permission or even without their parents knowing. You know, this is one thing the Lee’s encountered is they were they tried to get counseling for their daughter and discovered that counselors had their hands tied by all of this and it attracted a whole lot of counselors who really wanted to push the whole trans agenda. And then they turned to their medical doctor who okay, I’m going to talk to your daughter without your presence because she’s the one I cannot imagine this. I mean, I have three kids and they’re now grown adults but I remember the the the the struggles my wife and I had in finding a doctor that would include the parents in the whole process rather than you know close the door and say well this is just doctor-patient stuff no no it’s not not if you’re the legal custodian of that child you have an obligation and a requirement the state of Colorado laws just were completely opposite. Anyway, all of those things, and the sex ed, you’re quite right there, too, that that’s been a big push. I saw this in bills that were run 15, 20 years ago down in the legislature, where they’re always pushing the envelope. And at the bottom line of this, it seemed like every committee hearing we had on a sex ed bill, here’s Planned Parenthood just cheering it on, come to find out that they are the largest… provider of sex ed materials in this country. So this is a dollars and cents issue for them, not to mention their priority is to push these radical principles. Anyway, you put it all together, and 1312 is in a long chain of events that we’ve seen. And I should also mention that there’s another companion bill, 1309, that forces insurance companies to provide complete coverage for all gender transition issues in Colorado. Talk about forcing you to pay for this because

Now, a couple of weeks ago, you mentioned a bill that was going to be coming down and presented here at the State House, and then I saw it when I was going through the work process. on reviewing bills for cut and this was a bill i think you said it 284 where it could be outside groups coming in and presenting at schools now first of all they might be paid second of all i could see danger danger on this and it was kind of an innocuous bill but you were on it
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, I try to go through every bill and snag what I think is a problem, and this one certainly stood out because it requires all outside organizations to abide by the Colorado anti-discrimination laws. Now, we just covered this, and what that means, especially if they pass 1312, is that any outside organization, what does that mean? That means a wide variety. I mean, they promoted this as the Boy Scout Bill because the Boy Scouts could then, they claim, come in and, you know… But they don’t believe in the boys and girls.
SPEAKER 21 :
How could they call it Boy Scouts, right?
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, I understand that, too. But… I asked the question of one of the co-sponsors. I said, so can’t they do that today? And what’s preventing them? You know, if a school thinks that it’s appropriate to bring in an outside… Because they’re doing this all the time. We just talked about this with the, you know, in the film Art Club. That was an outside organization coming into an after-school event and conducting these gender-grooming sessions. The school district and the school… approved of this practice happening. It doesn’t require a bill that says you can do it because they can do it anyway. But what this bill says is it specifically says that you have to, all outside organizations have to abide by this new moral standard that they’re setting up where deadnaming is suddenly illegal. And that’s such a pejorative term. Calling a child by their given name, if they decided to change their name or somebody convinced them to change their name now becomes a crime well let me tell you some organizations that probably won’t go along with that um uh uh in any christian organization you know athletes and what is it christian fellowship fellowship of christian athletes oh thank you thank you yeah i imagine that’s a group that would look at it and say uh this this is a violation of our principles and now Charter schools are specifically required to abide by all this in that they are required to make a policy that conforms with all of this. So I know that there’s a school up in Fort Collins that has very strict academic and and moral standards that they abide by. And they said, look, this bill would require us to make a policy to allow in all of these gender-fluid organizations. And they couldn’t stop it. So that’s the real, it’s kind of the underbelly. It’s another one of those bills that we’ve been talking about. And it’s ridiculous that it keeps coming back to this. But But there is an agenda that’s being pushed very hard by radical elements within our schools and trying to influence our schools. And these bills, you know, they’re what’s happening now. So, yeah, this is on the long line. Now, the bill passed a committee, and I think it passed second reading, too, in the Senate. It did.
SPEAKER 21 :
Okay. So, and meanwhile, back at the ranch, Ben Williams, on the call that you had organized, Linda White had mentioned about, she looked specifically at Bennett School District.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 21 :
And not even 20% of the kids could do, was it math or reading?
SPEAKER 11 :
Math, 18%.
SPEAKER 21 :
Only 18% of the kids in the Bennett School District are proficient at math. And so we can see they’re dumbing our children down, and then they’re grooming them just to – instead of thinking about the high ideals, as you mentioned, our history, they’re really grooming them to be – Sex objects, I think. And, hey, Kevin, did you – I’m sure you got that Boulder sex cap. We talked a little bit about it yesterday. Did you get the flyer on that? And apparently they decided not to have it. But I think that it sheds light on things that are happening that we’re not aware of. They were going to target 10-year-olds to 14-year-olds. Our tax dollars, we’re going to pay for it up at the University of Colorado through the Boulder Health Department or whatever. So I’m sure you saw that. Yes.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, yes. As a matter of fact, you know, we must be on the same mental track because I host a Zoom call every Monday morning. And I actually threw that poster up on the screen for everybody to look at. Yeah, it’s the Boulder Mental Health Clinic or whatever it is. and some organization that’s associated with the University of Colorado. So it had a lot of official stamps on it. And it was a summer camp program exploring alternatives in sexual activity for 5th through 8th grade children.
SPEAKER 21 :
Unbelievable. Unbelievable.
SPEAKER 15 :
Try to absorb that a little bit. And yeah, they pulled back because, frankly, it became public what they were drawing. And I’m told that that that actual poster that I did show was a. a softened version of the original poster that was much more explicit on what they were going to talk about.
SPEAKER 21 :
So here are these kids, again, they would be groomed. Who knows what they would learn there. They come home and they say, oh, I think I’m the other sex. And what are parents to do? And yesterday when we had Greg Videron, who was talking about this House bill in 2019-11-29 that silenced the voices really of therapists, And Dr. Travis Morrell, I said, what is a parent to do? And Dr. Travis Morrell said, move. And I thought, oh, my, we are in, we’ve got to, he’s right in one way, too. We’ve got to protect our children. But I have decided to stay and fight Kevin Lumberg because we have to fight for our children.
SPEAKER 15 :
Me too. I’m in there swinging as well, and a lot of people are. That’s why I joined with Aaron Lee and others, and we formed what’s called Protect Kids Colorado, where we are taking the initiative, literally taking the initiative to propose initiatives to put on the ballot to to change all of this. I mean, we’ve got a legislature. Look, the legislature has nine more days in the session. They have, by the last count I saw, over 250 bills yet to deal with. So it’s just chaos down there trying to push through all of this. But if you look at the bills, you mentioned my website. On my website, I try to track the bills that I think are good, bad, and a few weird ones. Really weird. But I’ve got, I don’t know, I haven’t counted it recently, probably 70 or 80 really bad bills. And some of them have become law. A few, gratefully, have been killed, but not too many. And there are dozens and dozens of these terrible ideas just covering the entire spectrum of what the state of Colorado can be doing to our lives. And they’re still out there, and they’re going to be rushed through in the last few days of the session, and probably most of them passed. Actually, this coming week, I’m thinking of doing kind of a percentage comparison of here are the good bills, and here are how many actually survived. Here are the bad bills, and here are how many survived. It’ll be stark. It’ll be like 10% of the good bills lived, and about 10% of the bad bills died, and the rest became law.
SPEAKER 21 :
So I’m looking at what we use, Bill Track 50, for the Colorado Union of Taxpayers. And I quickly want to say thank you to this group. We have taken positions on 254 bills. That means that this team has read those bills and taken positions. It’s amazing work that they’ve done. And when you see these folks out there, say thank you. They’re all volunteers. Steve Dorman, Greg Golianski, Russ Haas, Bill Hamill, Rob Knuth, John Nelson, Wendy Warner, Marty Nielsen, Ramey Johnson. Mary Jansen, David Evans, Corey Onazorg, Paula Beard, and Ray Beard. And over at Colorado Union of Taxpayers, regarding this 1312, people need to do two things. Well, three things. 1312 is going to be heard tomorrow, and this is this bill that your kids could be taken away from you. So testify. I’m going to submit written testimony because I don’t think that I can do the whole thing tomorrow. And so I’m going to submit written testimony. But you can go to Colorado Parents Advocacy Network. I think that’s Colorado Parents. Just put it in and it’ll come up. And you can sign their petition, which I did that yesterday. And then we have this great new service, and we’ve invested in it, at Colorado Union of Taxpayers. We’d love to have you all join us, be members. And that is, we call it cut engaged, and you can go in, and we’ve selected certain bills that you can very quickly just, you can say, just send what cut has said regarding a bill, or you can add something in, and it’ll go to the bill sponsors, and you can also put in your own legislator, your senator, and your House of Representatives representative. And it’s really easy to do. And Ben Williams, you did it right. And I put out a challenge. And I think you won. You were able to do the four bills last week. And how long? One minute and 51 seconds, I know.

Good job. And you know what, Kim, yesterday I went through and did the one this week that you sent out, and I averaged 21 and a half seconds per bill.
SPEAKER 21 :
So think about that.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s not much time at all. We can all do that.
SPEAKER 21 :
In less than two minutes, you can make your voices heard. And, Kevin, we have 1312 on there if you only want to do one bill. You can go on and find 1312. And I would recommend people sign the petition over at the Colorado Parents Advocacy Network and then make your voices heard at Colorado Union of Taxpayers. It’s pretty cool.

Absolutely. And actually, let me add, do it today because tomorrow they are going to present that publicly. I understand they have about 30,000 signatures so far, and they’re going to give that to the legislature and say, here are a lot of people who think this is a really bad idea. Now, do I think the legislators are going to say, oh, I guess we’ll change our mind? Probably not. But, you know, this is a long game. We need to identify who is actually for parents and for the people of Colorado and who’s just trying to promote their own agenda. um and so then this is a good step forward um it’ll be on the west steps of the capitol by the way uh the the actual public presentation of all these signatures uh 10 30 tomorrow morning and then you mentioned it the bill will be heard in the final public hearing that’s scheduled for this bill this is your ONLY, YOU KNOW, YOUR FINAL OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN A PUBLIC HEARING. NOW, YOU CAN STILL CALL YOUR SENATORS AND YOUR REPRESENTATIVES. IT’S IN THE SENATE NOW. SO, YOU KNOW, FOCUS IN ON THE SENATE AND LET THEM KNOW AS YOU, YOU KNOW, GAVE A LOT OF MECHANISMS TO DO THAT BECAUSE IT WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE PROCESS AND THEY’VE AMENDED IT SO IT WILL GO BACK TO THE HOUSE. to, not substantially, they’ve just tweaked a little. And I hope, you know, this is a bad bill. You can’t amend this one to make it better. You can maybe cut it into little pieces and then try to force feed each little bite to us. But any version of this bill is a bad bill, except one. I’ve got one amendment I want them to adopt.

And what’s that?
SPEAKER 15 :
That is repeal the enacting clause. That’s the first sentence in every bill that says, be it enacted by the legislature of the state of Colorado, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. If you amend that sentence out, you kill the bill.

My great friend Lori Gimmelstein has been fighting for our children, and you can go on there, and you can still get signed up if you want to testify, whether it’s in person or if you want to do it online. But it’s going to be a big deal tomorrow, and we really need to stand up for our children.

And that website is coloradoparents.org. You can sign the petition online. and you can click there to register. Everything’s right there. And then also go to coloradotaxpayer.org, which is our CUT website, and go down to, it’s in the second line now. We have 1312 there as well, and you can make your voices heard there. Simple, takes 20 seconds. Okay, Kevin Lundberg, this is the last week, and of course we’ll need to talk again next week. What do you want people to know?

Well, an awful lot is happening and it’s happening very quickly, but you’ve been really talking on the biggest issue because 1312, as I said before, has not just gotten the attention of a lot of people here in Colorado, but nationally this is being seen as a bit of a watershed moment. And I honestly, our legislature is populated by such hard left people on the Democrat side. And they have all the numbers. So I don’t know that we’re going to. Well, actually, they may blink on this one. They may blink because it is such a bad one and people need to know. But win or lose, this is the place to take the stand. And, you know, I’ve seen this happen so many times down in the legislature where They think they’ve got a great idea, and they’re just running with it. But when the people rise up and say no, and we may have to say no more than once on this one. In other words, we may have to tell them no at the ballot box next election cycle, or we may have to hit it doubly hard next year. and start rolling this stuff back. Or you may want to get involved with Protect Kids Colorado, too, because we’ve got three initiatives that are in the queue right now with the title board. One to prohibit men in women’s sports. One to prohibit the gender mutilation surgeries that are happening to kids today. And one to address a very similar crying problem we have, and that is children being sold for sex sex trafficking you think this this is an initiative just to say if you do that if you do any buying or selling in that arena you’re going to jail and you’re not getting out period as it should be yeah and and so we’ll have some petitions ready sometime in the We need to rise up as the people of Colorado and establish laws that work and work well. So, yeah, go down there, make your name known.
SPEAKER 21 :
You mentioned elections, and as you know, I’m doing work over here on the election side because we need to have free, fair, honest, and transparent elections. I think it’s important that people understand they’ve tried to put people into Democrat versus Republican groups. We need to realize there’s this big, broad middle of America that cares about these values that our country was founded on. And the Democrat Party now, particularly in Colorado, is not the Democrat Party of JFK or Tip O’Neill or your grandpa and your grandma. This is a radical activist extremist group that controls this Democrat Party. So we need people to understand that because we can’t put it into this Democrat-Republican context.
SPEAKER 15 :
fight if you will it’s it’s much it’s it’s much different now and i know i set that out there you’ve got two minutes well um you know hang on for the ride for the next seven uh eight nine days here for the colorado legislature and we’ll have plenty of things to talk about next week when it’s down to the last couple of days but um you’re quite right the i like the term common sense I’ve heard that used quite a bit, that we’re trying to get back to common sense in our legislation and our laws, and it really can. You can do it. Real quick, real quick story back when I was a freshman legislator, and I saw a bill that just wasn’t quite right, and I battled with that one and struggled and finally got it amended so that it worked right, and Ben, you’ll be interested to know that what it said was that if if what you did to your house conformed to code when it was put in place, it still conforms today.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 15 :
Because this bill would have made it illegal to live in anything that didn’t conform with current code.

Oh, my gosh.

Wow. And I learned the way you do that is you just persistently push and push until you figure it out and make it right, and that’s what we’ve got to do here. As the people of Colorado, as individuals, as legislators, we need to apply some common sense… And I’m confident that we’ll get there. I’m actually seeing some good, you know, rumblings even within the state of Colorado that people are finally coming around to them. some good attitudes on this stuff.

Good morning. Good morning, Kim. Good to hear you on the radio, speaking the truth. Colorado has become the point of crazy lately, and it’s… disturbing to have conversations with friends of mine around the country and what is going on in Colorado.

It’s almost embarrassing, isn’t it?

It is embarrassing. I have to apologize sometimes when I introduce myself as someone from Colorado, but then I quickly come back and let them know we’re fighting the good fight. We’re not giving up. We’re going to not move to a different state to get away from it. We’re going to stay here and win eventually.
SPEAKER 21 :
Well, we are. And, John, you are such a valued partner and supporter of the show. And our independent voice means that we’re not – I’m not getting anything from corporate people or whatever telling me what to say. We speak the truth. for the truth and work to speak the truth if i get something incorrect i will try to correct that as well but let’s talk about bows and law and you help people if something has happened and as much as we would like to avoid all motor vehicle accidents that just doesn’t happen in life does it no you know and i i talk to folks i let them know hey life has thrown you a curveball and

There are certain types of any kind of actions, but motor vehicle accidents where you just can’t avoid it sometimes. But sometimes you can, and that’s what we’re going to talk about this morning. Not the ones that you can’t. You know, if you’re at a stoplight and there’s cars in front of you and you’re that last car and someone’s not paying attention, there’s not a whole heck of a lot you can do to avoid that.

That happened to me.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, but there’s situations. where he can avoid it and and i always tell folks and and my kids have heard this so many times uh… when you’re driving and it sounds you know like a no-brainer but so many people to get behind the wheel and they’re thinking about what they’re going to do that day or just got in an argument with the neighbor and they’re they’re just they’re not focused on the task at hand and that’s driving and uh… so if you know if you’ve just had a situation at home, when your kids did something, a fight with the wife or the husband, I tell folks, you know, clear your mind. Don’t get in that car until you’re ready to focus on driving. It’s easy for me to say that. And most of the time, I got to get to work on time. But, you know, I have the opportunity to ask people when cases don’t resolve and and we pursue things through litigation, kind of what happened. And so I hear all these things. Now, the other big one is driving distracted because of texting or being on the phone. In Colorado, it’s passed a law now. You’re not supposed to hold the phone in your hand, but I’m going to go one step further. If that phone is on and you’re talking to somebody, whether you’re holding the phone or not, you’re distracted. And a step above that in terms of distraction is texting. So many accidents are still occurring because of people picking up that phone, looking at that message, or God forbid, texting and responding to it while they’re driving. Big ones. Now, as far as, you know, you in a car driving, we’ve talked about this one several times. But I bring it up because it can be one of the most deadly, most serious, most… destructive accidents, and that’s when you pull up to an intersection, you’ve got a light, you’re the first car in line, that light turns red, and you go, pedal to the metal. That is not how to handle that intersection. You want to look to the left, look to the right, look to the left again. It doesn’t take very long. If the car behind you honks, ignore them. Make sure no one’s coming through that red light that they now have. Side impact, T-bone accidents to the driver’s side are bad accidents, and you can avoid it if you just look.
SPEAKER 21 :

So I think that producer Joe’s ready. The Prince, Niccolo Machiavelli. And this was written a long time ago, wasn’t it, producer Luke?

Yeah, quite a while. Famously, quite a long time ago. Which I think makes it all the more scarier to see just how much of the core text is still incredibly relevant. It talks a lot about, you know, principalities and monarchies and stuff like that. But, I mean, it’s very easy to sort of apply those ideas to even, you know, our modern United States of America, which is, you know, a little worrying, I think, to see so many parallels.
SPEAKER 21 :
Okay. And so we’re going to be talking, we’re doing chapters three and four, right?
SPEAKER 12 :
Yes, three and four.
SPEAKER 21 :
So chapter three was of mixed monarchies. And so why don’t you set this up for us, Luke? What do you think is important?
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, so, I mean, there’s a couple things in Chapter 3 that I think really stand out. There’s plenty to go through, but I think I wanted to start with one that I feel is definitely very applicable to the sort of modern state of things. He says sort of in his discussion about mixed principalities that, you know, you can have a really hard time or a pretty easy time But nothing is ever totally smooth. He goes on and he mentions that the sort of locals of a population will often try and overthrow their ruler to try and better themselves. They’ll try and switch out leadership pretty often, especially if they feel that that leadership isn’t serving them well. Mm-hmm. It then goes on to say that even if a ruler is sort of put into power through these means, right, the people get fed up with the previous administration, eject that guy, put in a new guy, that the new guy has a fairly hard time… Let me make sure I grab the correct quotes here. He says here that… Let’s see. In this way you have enemies and all those whom you have injured in seizing the principality, and you are not to keep those friends who put you there, because you are not being able to satisfy them in the way that they expected. And you cannot take strong measures against them, feeling bound to them. For although one may be very strong in armed forces, yet in entering a province has always needed the goodwill of the natives.” So it’s interesting to see that sort of idea paralleled even in the modern United States. Say we, for example, we’ll say the American people were not happy with Joe Biden’s administration. They didn’t like the Democratic hold on the state, so they bounced them all out and then replaced them with Donald Trump and the Republicans in the House and Senate. But then you get into this weird position of, Well, it’s hard to make moves. It’s hard to make change because the people you’ve upset, the Democrats, are actively working against you. And some of the people who put you there, the people you are now almost sort of not bound to, but the people you feel helped you put there, it’s hard for you to fulfill your promises to those people because now you’re also burdened with this responsibility of – You know, trying to fulfill your promises to your constituents, trying to fulfill your promises to the people who are responsible for your campaign, so on and so forth. So I think it’s I don’t know, like it’s not we’re not a monarchy, right? We’re not an oligarchy. We’re not a principality. But to see a lot of those core ideas still apply, I think, is very interesting.
SPEAKER 21 :
OK, fascinating. So, OK, Joe, let’s go over to your take on this.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, I would say it is very interesting because we might have the biggest, which is the presidency, but it can even roll down to the lower levels. I think about the governor polis. We’re not liking what he’s doing right now. And so people are trying to get him removed.
SPEAKER 21 :
But the unique thing about America is that we, the people, are supposed to do this via elections. I don’t think, as I was reading this, Luke, I don’t think that Machiavelli had the the concept of the American idea. I think he only had these experiences of monarchy. So I don’t think that he’d really, and I got to think the founders probably read him as they read all kinds of things. I don’t think that he had ever really thought about the changing of rulers through honest elections.
SPEAKER 12 :
No. Well, I mean, America didn’t exist. Right. So there’s there’s no frame of reference to really draw from.
SPEAKER 21 :
I’m sure this was like 1500s, wasn’t it?
SPEAKER 12 :
I believe I think 1600s, like 1500s, early 1600s, if I recall. OK. Yeah. I mean, America didn’t exist. And I’m sure there were other sort of historical republics at the time that existed, but evidently weren’t influential enough to sort of. impact his political writings.
SPEAKER 21 :
Although we might have it later in the book.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, I mean we might. At the very least not at this point. But it’s interesting too I think that Even though there’s no reference of changing rulers through elections, there is still this notion that people will frequently change rulership in an attempt to better themselves, especially if they presume that the current sitting ruler doesn’t have their best interest in mind. So the method might be different, but the end result is the same. It’s like we’re just doing, we’re approaching a solution to a problem just from a different angle but it’s still at its core the same idea of well the past guy didn’t do a good job let’s put a new guy in well the past guy didn’t do you know even if it’s not the same person you’re looking at political parties right well the last democrat didn’t do a good job let’s get a republican well the last republican didn’t do a good job let’s do a democrat
SPEAKER 21 :
So, Luke, as you’re saying a couple of these words, one was so a politician makes promises. So Joe Biden or so Donald Trump made promises. And then also you said if the last guy didn’t do a good job, then they get rid of them. So I guess the first thing is, is what who would do? define what would be a good job is a good job that somebody is able to influence which I think Machiavelli is talking about able to influence the leader to get what they want is that what one might consider a good job because I think the definition of that is important yeah Machiavelli alludes to it a bit and in less direct terms but I think in this instance a good job
SPEAKER 12 :
for most people would be having the state or the country, the nation, wherever you’re in, have your personal existence within that country or nation be better after their time of rule than before, right? I think everyone has different sort of ideas of what that means, but I think there are a couple good sort of core foundational things that most people would agree on. You want to feel secure in your personage and you want to feel secure in your property. You want to be able to afford to feed yourself, clothe yourself, and house yourself. The capacity to secure your family through financial means. And then I think the third one is to protect yourself from the potential of invasion or foreign attack. So where the first one is securing your personages from whatever is inside your nation, the third one is going to be… security from impacts outside your nation. I think you can have whatever policy on immigration you want. I think we can all universally agree that a bomb dropping on your house is a pretty bad thing. So I think those are like the three core things that most people, I’d argue, would find very strong agreeance on, regardless of political position. So being more secure and well-off in those areas is also a very good sort of universal test to see how better or worse you are before or after a certain, you know, ruler or policymaker. We’ll use ruler in this instance because Machiavelli’s, you know, talking about princes.
SPEAKER 21 :
Okay, super interesting. I’m going to ponder this, ruminate. Those are going to be two words. What do you think, Teresa?
SPEAKER 01 :
I like ruminate.
SPEAKER 21 :
Yeah, ponder, ruminate. Ruminate’s a good one. Yeah, I’ll have to add that. Okay, Producer Joe, your thoughts on this?
SPEAKER 06 :
I would have to agree with Luke. I think the biggest thing is the quality of life. We want to be able to do those basics, like Luke said, but also what about the nice things that are brought in? How we enjoy life, whether it be, I mean, some people would say working less and being able to actually spend time with family more. I think those are big things. guidelines to what is a good job and i think that’s where during joe biden we we really we got fleeced with every area of taxes were high grocery store was high the word fleeced fleece is also a very good one
SPEAKER 21 :
You got me on that one. No. Yeah.
SPEAKER 06 :
And it’s just important. I think that was the biggest thing that made everybody miserable in America. And so moving towards Donald Trump now and his promises, we’re going to be watching and seeing what the quality of life is going to be.
SPEAKER 05 :

SPEAKER 12 :
I think there’s something to keep in mind, at the very least, when it comes to that. I think when you’re talking about states and policy and specifically in sort of this realm of statecraft, The material, sort of that which can be measured and thus influenced by someone in a position of power, is really the sort of foundation. If you… If you’re familiar with the psychological term, sort of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, there’s this pyramid wherein your physical needs rests at the bottom as a foundation. You need to be able to secure yourself physically. This is survival and safety to prevent yourself from dying or starving to death, which is dying. And then once you’ve built that foundation, there are these sort of ascendant more personal needs. which can’t be influenced by statecraft, which is this idea of self-fulfillment or self-actualization. It’s the time you get with loved ones and stuff like that. Well, a policymaker can’t state mandate you spend 40 hours a week with your children. But they can make the physical, measurable conditions more livable to then allow you to make that decision later on. So I think there becomes this almost fallacy where people measure the success of a ruler in these more sort of abstract areas, when in reality it’s the very foundational stuff that influences the abstract. So it’s the foundation that needs to be impacted first and foremost.
SPEAKER 21 :
Okay. Super fascinating. Vin or Teresa, let me know if you want to weigh in on this.

Yeah, I’d just like to, you know, so much of life is perspective, right? I went over to the Philippines to do a project, and they’re used to having one meal of rice a day. And I’m reminded of the Apostle Paul who says, I know what it is to be in need. I know what it is to have plenty. I’ve learned the secret of being content in every situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. And obviously we have a unique opportunity in the united states to influence our government a lot of people don’t have that across the world so we need to be involved in influencing our government but also remember our government is not the answer and it really comes down to us as individuals
SPEAKER 21 :
Well, and I think that’s one of the things is that people are looking to government to do things, and that was never the way it was supposed to be. The sanctity of the individual was something that was inherent in the American idea. Teresa, do you want to comment on this before we go to break?
SPEAKER 14 :
The government is supposed to be there to work for the people, not the people working for the government.
SPEAKER 21 :
Right, yeah. And when you think about how much they take out of your paycheck, I know you guys feel like you’re working for the government, right, Joe? Indeed.

Absolutely.

OK, well, let’s go ahead and jump into this. We’re going through this book, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. It was written in the late 1500s, 1600s. We’re chapters three and four. We’re a mixed monarchy. So what’s the next thing we want to talk about, Luke?
SPEAKER 12 :
Well, I feel like it’s very topical to run sort of to the bottom of the chapter where he talks about this idea of princes acquiring lands. And Chapter 3 has plenty of good stuff, but unfortunately just don’t have a whole lot of time to get to it. But I wanted to bring this one up because… I feel like especially now it’s very relevant because you hear Donald Trump talking. You’ve heard it in the news. You’ve heard him say it in his rallies. You know, Canada is the 51st state. He’s talking about wanting Greenland, wanting the Panama Canal, a couple of these other sort of acquisitional ideas that he’s trying to do here. And I wanted to read this sort of paragraph from near the end of the chapter. And it says here that the wish to acquire is in truth very natural and common, and men always do so when they can, and for this they will be praised, not blamed. But when they cannot do so, yet wish to do so by any means, then there is folly and blame. And I think it’s very interesting to have read this chapter sort of at a time where America feels very inclined to acquire these new lands, especially because I think it’s not only is it very contentious, but I think there’s a lot sort of up in the air on whether it’s even physically possible. So I was kind of interested on your take on what Donald Trump has said regarding Canada and Greenland and Panama.
SPEAKER 21 :
Thank you. And, yes, it is a bit – the first time he said Gulf of America or Canada, the 51st state, I’m thinking, oh, my gosh, or acquiring Greenland. Yes. I think like you, I was taken aback a little bit. And he needs to articulate these things, I think, better. We actually did a prerecord for Jay Davidson, which we’ll broadcast tomorrow. And he’s written a piece that Donald Trump is doing many of the things correctly. to get government put back into its proper role. Big government means small freedom. Individual freedom means big individual, small government. And so I think that Trump needs to articulate the reason that he’s saying this. And the reason is, is not because we want to acquire it, is because we’ve got China over here trying to do things. So for example, we had Drew Dixon with the Center for American Values. He’s the Medal of Honor recipient. And do check out the American Center for American Values, just an amazing group. But he was actually stationed on some floating ice for several different seasons in Greenland. The reason was is because at the time, the Russians were running submarines up in that area. So it became a strategic national security question. And so now the Chinese are – they’re not saying we want Greenland, but they’re up there – doing patrols and things, which is a national security issue. And so that’s why Trump is saying this. And so I think that he needs to articulate that better. Go down to the Panama Canal. First of all, we built it and we had thousands of Americans that gave their lives to build the Panama Canal so that we could have trade going a lot easier than from one ocean to another. We spent blood, money, treasure. I don’t know why Jimmy Carter gave it away for a dollar, but he did. And so now what we see is that China, again, is having their influence, which would be constricting free trade, and they’re charging, my understanding is they’re charging, Panama’s charging American ships more money. So that’s not fair. Now go to Canada. First of all, I think that we… I don’t understand why we are giving money to all of these other countries. As Joe says, they’re fleecing us. And so I saw a meme that said, why are we paying other countries to hate us? They should be able to hate us without our money. But with Canada, my understanding is he wants to get these borders secured. And so that’s why he’s saying some of the things that he’s saying. Unfortunately, if you don’t delve into these issues deeper and you just see that, you think, oh, he’s an imperialist, he wants to take this stuff over, which I don’t think is really the case. I think part of that is just his bravado, which I had mentioned to Ben Williams as we were getting ready for the show that I’d been in the ladies’ clothing business for many years, which meant that I went back to New York on a regular basis. I have a great appreciation for that New York personality. In fact, I can’t remember if I told this on the air or not, but I told this to somebody just recently. We were waiting for a bus. We were at our hotel. This was, I think you were born, I think. 98 when I was born. And so we were waiting for the bus to go down to the fashion district, and it was taking a little bit of time. I said, I’m going to walk around the block. So I’m walking around the block, and this limo pulls up. A guy gets out, and I almost run directly into Donald Trump as he was going to Trump Towers. But I think he needs to articulate this better because I don’t think that people in America understand just how bad it could be. And I think he’s trying to protect Americans, but he needs to be able to articulate this better, Luke.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, I would agree. I think articulation is going to be key, especially because I mean, I’ve made it vocal that I’m not the biggest fan of Donald Trump, nor a lot of his policies at the moment. And I think it’s especially sort of coming to bite now where we’re in this position where it’s not being articulated to the American people, but it’s also not being articulated to the respective leaders of those nations, wherein it’s, you know, the leader of Denmark, who I believe controls or has possession of Greenland or is in some way responsible for Greenland.
SPEAKER 21 :
Just a question. Why does Denmark have Greenland?
SPEAKER 12 :
That’s a great question. Right. I don’t know. But the current, you know, sort of ownership of Greenland making him pretty angry. It just recently when I was on Rush to Reason with Andy yesterday on Monday, he was talking about the current election that was going on in Canada. Right there. They’re doing an election right now and they’re. Republican Party, and the exact numbers are going to be lost because I don’t have them in front of me, but I remember the gist. The Republican Party in Canada had a lead in that election by approximately 40 points. It was a significant lead. I think maybe it was like a 30 point. I remember they were somewhere in the 40-ish percentage and the sort of Democrat, the Liberal Party over there in Canada was floating around. I think it was like 11 or 13%. Which was a big win for the Republican Party in that side. Donald Trump… Conservative Party. Yes, Conservative Party. Yes, thank you. Donald Trump then continued this sort of push. Canada is the 51st state. Let’s do it. We want it to happen. And that bent a lot of people the wrong way. That turned the 30-point Conservative lead… into a three-point conservative deficit as the Democrat or the Liberal Party in Canada absolutely skyrocketed after he had made those statements, which was a huge loss for the Conservative Party up there in Canada. And it was because of what he said. And it’s not just a matter of… You know, maybe saying these things in a more articulate way is a good idea, especially when it’s impacting very real elections that is going to impact sort of global economy, which I’m not a big fan of seeing personally. But I think that’s sort of very important is that it goes beyond just the verbal, right? This is nationally sort of impacting everyone.
SPEAKER 21 :
well and people have to they need to do the work to figure this out as well this came in on the text line and then we’ll go to break it says first we built the panama canal and second it is a national security issue same with greenland this helps keep the world safe now realize china isn’t very nice to their people and they’re certainly very not nice to the uyghurs and they have slave labor over there so uh when you i think we need to articulate the Just what’s going on here. She said, Trump is trying to point out to the Canadians that their government is out of control. If Trump just makes that statement, it will not make the news. She’s right. I think you have a good point, though.
SPEAKER 12 :
I think making the news is fine. Making the news is great. But what happens when you make the news and it swings something in a wildly bad direction? I think it’s one thing.
SPEAKER 20 :
Did you just say that it was a bad? Aha, we gotcha.

Yeah, I mean, I think politically speaking, nationally speaking, yeah, that was a terrible decision. I think if your goal is to influence and create allies within Canada, and then you make a statement that loses those allies in Canada, that’s a bad move.

Yeah, no, I think you’re right. And I was not trying to revel in that. Excuse me for doing that.

We’re going through The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. And you guys, I just so appreciate that you’re up for this because these intergenerational discussions are so important. So before we get to Chapter 4, is there anything else you wanted to say on Chapter 3, producer Joe?
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, I just wanted to kind of piggyback off of Luke on what he was generally saying. I think he is right that Canada was or is one of our friends, so to speak. But talking bad, yeah, no, that’s probably a bad move. I think the biggest thing, and I try and think of it like risk a little bit, Why Trump would try and get more land and stuff, I think it’s for the resources, because if we have something to give value to our country, it will grow our economic stance, I think.
SPEAKER 21 :
Yeah, I don’t really think we should acquire Canada, though. I don’t. I’m not up for that.
SPEAKER 12 :
Machiavelli says that there is great difficulty to acquire a state which is not culturally the same as yours. Speaking the same language is a big factor, but to try and take a state that is so culturally different becomes incredibly difficult. I mean, even if we could, I don’t think we should. I mean, nationally it would make us look awful. It would make us look like sort of greedy conquerors.
SPEAKER 21 :
But we’d always have an American team then that would win the Stanley Cup.
SPEAKER 12 :
There you go. You know what? Let’s do it. Let’s do it.
SPEAKER 21 :
Okay, I convinced you. Okay, let’s jump into Chapter 4 then. Chapter 4 is why the kingdom of Darius occupied by Alexander did not rebel against the successors of the latter after his death.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, it gives a very sort of broad historical example, does kind of provide like evidence and supporting facts to the previous chapter. But there’s a good sort of segment in there that I think can be taken in isolation. And I wanted to find the exact quote, and I wish I could, but I forgot.
SPEAKER 21 :
I might have highlighted it. I don’t know.
SPEAKER 12 :
You might have. It might have been the tail end of chapter three or the beginning of chapter four, where he mentions that. When it comes to keeping the state you’ve acquired, if you can recognize and identify a problem from within your state, but then don’t deal with that problem immediately, it will grow and fester until it becomes basically an unwinnable scenario for you. And he mentions that Alexander was able to sort of catch these issues before they arose and dealt with them before it escalated into something serious. But it’s also, I think they mentioned here, that being physically present and aware within your state to catch those issues before they arise is really significant. And if you are not physically there and you’re not aware or looking, that these things can really kind of sneak up on you and they’ll fester. And I think it’s very interesting, too, especially because when Machiavelli wrote this, you’re looking at these principalities, these kingdoms that are by all proportion, very small in size, at the very least compared to like, you know, some of the United States, right? You know, France is smaller than Texas, you know, something like the back in the day, really, really small thing. So it’s interesting to see how a country as large as ours can have these sort of small pockets of issues that rise. And by the time you hear about them, it’s because they’ve risen to a point where they’ve begun to fester and sort of become not unwinnable, but much, much harder to deal with.
SPEAKER 21 :
interesting on this one one thing and i think you alluded to this is he said something about and we were talking about canada culturally yes culturally different culturally homogenous i think is one of the terms he used so i i’d written this um i thought illegal immigration which under the oh biden harris administration uh there were millions that came into our country and They don’t understand. They’re not culturally the same. And I feel like that that was a on-purpose invasion by the O’Biden-Harris administration. Your comments on that?
SPEAKER 12 :
I was going to say illegal immigration I think also plays very well into this Chapter 4 segment where it is an issue that has risen to such an extreme that once everyone is made aware of just how tumultuous the situation is, it’s already gotten to a point where it becomes significantly harder to deal with.
SPEAKER 03 :
Good point.
SPEAKER 12 :
Like I said, I’m not a Republican, but I’m also not a Democrat. I think countries should have borders. I think illegal immigration is a very dangerous, very slippery slope. I am all for legal immigration. Come here legally. Make sure all your I’s are dotted and your T’s are crossed. We’re at this point now in our current country where we see this sort of effect at play where, all right, what’s the number they throw? I think 15 million, 20 million is the number you hear a lot in the news. All right, say you’ve got 20 million people. That’s a lot. You can have all the ICE agents in the world doing whatever they want. You know, 20 million people is a lot of people. If the problem was addressed early enough and addressed correctly early enough, then maybe this would have been avoidable.
SPEAKER 21 :
They didn’t address it. They exacerbated it. Okay, Producer Joe, we’re just about out of time. So your final thought?
SPEAKER 06 :
I agree. And also, generally speaking, with the illegal immigration, I mean, it’s in the name, illegal.
SPEAKER 21 :
It’s against our… Oh, that’s so interesting that you would mention that because I was… Let’s see. I was working on the CUT email yesterday and came over in commentary in a Word document, and we were talking about one of the… bills that is a welcome and we welcome for people that are here illegally and so anyway we referred it to as illegal immigrants and Microsoft the word document said that for it to be more inclusive I should have said undocumented I left it as illegal aliens but I thought that was so interesting that that did that anyway we’re out of time producer Joe Thank you. You’re the best. And Producer Luke, thank you. You’re the best. Thanks for having these discussions. Yeah, thanks for having me. And so we’ll get it on the schedule for next month.
