SPEAKER 08 :
It’s the Kim Monson Show, analyzing the most important stories.
SPEAKER 04 :
That seems to me like government is establishing a religion.
SPEAKER 08 :
The latest in politics and world affairs.
SPEAKER 04 :
If you give people rights, women’s rights, gay rights, whatever, there can’t be equal rights if there are special rights.
SPEAKER 08 :
Today’s current opinions and ideas.
SPEAKER 04 :
Surveys show that people still really prefer freedom over government force.
SPEAKER 08 :
Is it freedom or is it force? Let’s have a conversation.
SPEAKER 04 :
Indeed. Let’s have a conversation. And welcome to the Kim Monson Show. Thank you so much for joining us. You’re each treasured, you’re valued, you have purpose. Today, strive for excellence. Take care of your heart, your soul, your mind, and your body. My friends, we were made for this moment in history. Thank you to the team. That’s Producer Joe, Luke, Rachel, Zach, Echo, Charlie, Mike, Teresa, Amanda, and all the people here at Crawford Broadcasting. Happy Tuesday, Producer Joe.
SPEAKER 18 :
Happy Tuesday, Kim.
SPEAKER 04 :
And we’ve got another great show planned for you today, so stay tuned on all of that. Be sure and check out our website. That’s KimMonson.com. Thank you to all of you who support us. We greatly appreciate it. It’s because of our excellent sponsors and all of you that our independent voice on this independent station is on the air. So we’d like to say thank you to the Harris family for their gold sponsorship of the show. They’ve been sponsors for a long time. And really appreciate that. As you know, we search for truth and clarity by looking at these issues through this lens of freedom versus force, force versus freedom. Something’s a good idea. You should not have to force people to do it. And it’s not compassionate and it’s not altruistic to take other people’s stuff, their rights, their property, freedom. livelihoods, opportunity, childhoods, or lives via force. Force obviously can be a weapon, but we’re seeing policy and unpredictable and excessive taxation, fear, coercion, government-induced inflation. The World Economic Forum and Globalist Leads agenda is playing out on the local level now, the local and county level. And it’s almost like there’s a whole directive on that With all of these comprehensive plan rewrites, zoning, rezoning, things that are happening, changes in land use codes, forest fees, these conservation easements, national monument designations. Yesterday when we talked to Montrose County Commissioner Sean Pond about the Gunnison Outdoor Recreation Act, I think it is, which would basically prevent thousands of acres from human interaction. And unfortunately, we’ve got a Republican that’s put his name on it, and that’s Jeff Hurd, Congressman Jeff Hurd, along with Senator Bennett and Senator Hickenlooper. And so we need to be shedding light on this. Hopefully that’s not going to get all the way through Congress. If so, we really will need to be calling on the president to veto that. But we focus on the issues. We’ll mention the people pushing the issues, but we really try to stay out of the personality fighting that can occur. Another great sponsor of the show is Hooters Restaurants, and they have locations in Loveland, Westminster, and on Parker Road in Aurora. And I really appreciate their long-term sponsorship of both the Kim Monson Show and America’s Veterans Stories and how I got to know them as one of those really important stories about freedom and the proper role of government and PBIs trying to exert control over over everyday people just trying to go after their hopes and dreams. And so do appreciate Hooters restaurants for their sponsorship. And they have great specials Monday through Friday for happy hour and for lunch as well. Our quote of the day I went to. Well, let’s get over here. Let’s see. Did I put the word of the day on here? Let me make sure. Oh, yes. The word of the day is strenuous. And it’s spelled S-T-R-E-N-O-U-S. And it’s an adjective. It could be vigorously active or energetic, fervent, zealous, or marked by or calling for energy or stamina. And I chose it because it is in our quote of the day, which is by Ann Sullivan Macy. And Ann Sullivan Macy was born in 1866 and she died in 1936. She was an American teacher best known for being the instructor and lifelong companion of Helen Keller. At the age of five, Sullivan contracted trachoma and eye disease, which left her partially blind and without reading or writing skills. She received her education as a student of the Perkins School for the Blind. And soon after graduation at age 20, she became a teacher to Keller. And I remember reading the book, The Miracle Worker, and there was a movie that was done about it as well. And it’s the story of basically Ann Sullivan as she helped Helen Keller, who, let’s see, I think Helen Keller was blind. And she could not hear. And so with that, she had difficulty speaking. And Ann Sullivan was able to connect with her and get Helen Keller to the person that she became. And I chose that because I was looking for educators. In this hour, our featured guest is Priscilla Rahn. And she is a teacher. And so I thought, well, who would be a famous teacher? So that’s why I went with Ann. and Sullivan Macy as our quote of the day. And this is what she said. She said a strenuous effort must be made. Let me start over a string. A strenuous effort must be made to train young people to think for themselves and take independent charge of their lives. And that is basically opposite of the woke indoctrination that we have seen taking over in many different classrooms. And so I thought that was really a great quote. A strenuous effort must be made to train young people to think for themselves and take independent charge of their lives. Let’s see headlines. We’ve got all kinds of things to talk about. And the first one is this. And this is from NPR. As of yesterday, President Trump asserts federal control of Washington, D.C., And he had announced plans to exercise more federal control over Washington, D.C., including taking control of the city’s police department and sending in National Guard troops. And as I read the headlines, I am concerned about federal takeover of our cities or possibly a state. I don’t like the precedent there. of what that is doing. The however, as I’ve talked to people, is when Washington, D.C. became a, I think it was a home rule city, in their charter, it says that in emergencies that the president can take control of of D.C. And President Trump has declared that D.C. is in an emergency situation. And I don’t disagree with him on that. There’s a couple of different reports. I know it’s a big deal for young people to get to go to D.C. and be a staffer or it’s a big deal. But the city has become very dangerous and And let’s see. This is from Fox News. And this hit home because apparently this young man was an intern for a congressman from Kansas, which that’s my home state. And this is the headline is Mother of Slain Congressional Intern Praises Trump’s Washington, D.C. Crime Crackdown. and trump wrote to the family after 21 year old eric tarpinian jakeem was killed in a june shooting and it says the grieving mother is commending president donald trump for his mission to make washington dc safe again after losing her 21 year old son who was killed in a senseless shooting and says that the mother said her son eric was a congressional intern was killed by a drive-by shooting in june And she says the president is spot on in his remarks on making the city safe again. Then this is from the Daily Wire. And it’s really a very interesting article. This is by Ben Shapiro. He said America needs big balls, not Mahmoud Khalil. And. Let’s see here. Oh, gosh, I normally have the whole thing here. Basically, it says that this young guy, as we’ve all heard, he was part of Elon Musk’s Doge Group. He and his girlfriend were apparently, it was in the wee hours of the morning, were walking along or maybe getting in their car, I don’t know the exact details, in Washington, D.C., when a gang of youths came up and demanded, I think, his phone and the car. And instead of just handing it over, he pushed his girlfriend into the car to protect her, said, call 911, which she did. And these youth proceeded to beat the living daylights out of him. But interestingly enough, he stood his ground. And so the article from Ben Shapiro and Daily Wire is here’s this young 19-year-old kid that did what men do. He protected the woman and he stood up against the aggressors. And again, this is happening on the streets of Washington, D.C. And Washington, D.C., there is a lot of federal buildings, a lot of federal offices there. And the mayor of Washington, D.C. does have a responsibility. to make sure that those places are safe. And that is not happening in Washington, D.C. So I can connect the dots. I can see how it could make sense for Donald Trump to take control of the police force there for a limited period of time and possibly send in the National Guard. I am uncomfortable with though, with him saying that he may take over Chicago or some of these other cities, because at some point in time, there will be Democrats in control. And when we look at the comments from Beto O’Rourke, this is from Real Clear Politics. Beto O’Rourke says, when Dems take power back, we’re going to drive that car like we stole it and legalize every immigrant. Clearly, I think Beto O’Rourke forgets that we’ve got a U.S. Constitution, and I really want both sides of the aisle to adhere to the Constitution. But I think we have to be very careful about the precedents that we set. However, Chicago is crime-ridden. New York is crime-ridden. I was talking yesterday with someone that lives in California, high cost of living, And they were considering moving to Denver, grown up here. And I said that Denver is not the city that it used to be. Yesterday, when we talked with Roger Mangan, he went through the statistics and said, Colorado is number one in the country for car thefts. And if you have your car stolen, it really complicates your life. It makes it difficult to get to work. It makes it difficult to go to places that you need to, doctor’s appointments. And so the fact that we are getting into these major cities that have been run by radical progressive activists. And these cities are blue. These cities are devolving into chaos and danger. And it’s because of public policy. And so what is the opposite of chaos? It’s order. And what is the opposite of danger? It’s safety. and and we can’t be running our businesses and taking care of our families if we’re worried about chaos and danger and so i understand that we need to get a handle on this the responsibility is really with these mayors of each of these cities but instead of focusing on the citizen as we see with this comment with beto o’rourke He says, this is again from this Fox News article, he says, we’re going to legalize every dreamer, every dreamer’s parents, every hardworking American doing backbreaking work that makes this country. Then he uses expletives throughout the whole thing. Great. In the first place, I, I, I. I think that he’s conflating the issue. And first and foremost, I think Trump is trying to send back criminals that have come here illegally. And so that is the real focus. Beto O’Rourke doesn’t seem to address that. whatsoever. And so we are at a very interesting time, an inflection point, to use our word of the day of yesterday. And all of this happens, this show happens because of all of your support and our great sponsors who all strive for excellence. And the Roger Mangus State Farm Insurance team has been in business for almost 50 years serving, and Roger’s been serving his customers, providing for his family, and giving back to the community. And liberty is the responsible exercise of freedom. Freedom does not mean that you just get to do whatever you want to whenever you want to. There is responsibility that is part of that. But economic freedom is so important. And Jody Henze and her team at Mint Financial Strategies can help you with your financial freedom. Continuing our discussion, and Gammy had texted me, she said that right now, D.C. is supposed to be our city, but it’s not right now. It’s, well, she said, it’s a core of indecent humanity in many ways. She doesn’t pull any punches when she’s describing things, and she does do a really good job on all of her research. But this is from the Western Journal. It says, five years later, these dim-run cities are reaping what they sowed with Defund the Police. And it said that the Daily Signal had put out a report recently highlighting how several liberal cities are coping with law enforcement shortages five years after the Defund the Police movement began, and it’s not going well. Zoran Mandani, the self-described socialist and New York City Democrat mayoral candidate, and other notable Democrats are distancing themselves from the now unpopular call to reduce police presence on city streets as recent violence in Cincinnati and Manhattan places public safety back in the spotlight. it says it then listed areas of the country that have taken some of the biggest hits and the first up is new york and this is the other thing though is i think that we’re seeing a bit of cooking the data regarding a crime as well because i think that you can feel and when something is the city is not safe and so anyway but it says according to the data from the new york police department More than 1,000 officers left the department in the first three months of 2025, an increase in retirements of 91% from 2024 numbers. And that is staggering. And it goes on and mentions other cities as well, Philadelphia, Chicago. And these are places I’ve never been to Philadelphia. It’s a place that I’d love to go to see the history, but it’s not. I don’t know that it’s a place that I want to do want to go to right now because these places have become very unsafe. So next headline that I wanted to mention, and I can’t remember now if I mentioned this to you guys yesterday or not. I meant to. But in Littleton, well, we’re seeing all of these rewrites of zoning regulations, of comprehensive plans, and basically it is going to really affect the fabric of our neighborhoods, of our single-family homes. And this is by design. In the name of density, it’s going to put people more on top of each other, less parking spots, more people, which it can be very tense when you come home from work and you can’t find a parking spot near your apartment where you want to park, so then you are then parking into the neighborhoods. I’ve seen this happen. And so there’s a group that came together. It was formerly Save Old Littleton. It’s now rooted in Littleton. And they’ve gotten over 2,000 signatures that has been submitted to city council. And they’re going to be trying to get a ballot question on the November election. And it would be a charter amendment. It says to preserve Littleton’s small town charm and beauty. Says Littleton residents choose not to live in Denver for a reason. Pave over Littleton’s small town charm and beauty and you start to get Denver. Replace yards for kids with more multiplexes and you start to get Denver. Stop requiring developers to provide parking with new housing starts and you start to get congested streets like Denver. The proposed charter amendment provides time to construct positive housing solutions where they are needed in Littleton, not just anywhere developers want them. So this is pretty cool that people are starting to stand up on this. So I was driving down South Broadway yesterday on Sunday in Littleton and I have seen these signs rooted in Littleton. Well, I saw the opposition sign as well, and it reminded me of COVID, the messaging in COVID. And the sign says, we love new neighbors. And so the implication is that we do not love our neighbors, which that’s biblical, the great little play on words there. And would indicate that you don’t love your neighbor if you want to keep the fabric of your community. And so it’s really interesting messaging on that. And I think that this is going to be a really interesting ballot question. And that’s going to happen in this November as well. Next thing, last night was our Colorado Union of Taxpayers board meeting. And again, I always like to say thank you. This is really an amazing group of people. And let me get all their names there because I want to say thank you to Steve Dorman, Greg Golianski, Russ Haas, Bill Hamill, Rob Knuth, John Nelson, Wendy Warner, Marty Nielsen, Ramey Johnson, Mary Jansen, Dave Evans, Corey Onizorg, Paula Beard, and Ray Beard. And we are preparing for the upcoming special session, which will be the Colorado State Legislature will have a special session because we’re just south of a billion dollars short on our budget. And I find it fascinating. Crazy that they didn’t plan better than that. But the reason is, is because they want to blame Donald Trump and his reduction in federal spending, which we’ve got to stop all this federal spending. The only way that states get any money from the federal government, federal government takes it from taxes or from businesses and individuals via taxes and fees. or borrowing it from our children and our grandchildren. And they have no say in these decisions. So it’s immoral to pass that on to them. So then it is immoral for states to be relying on that federal money to run our states. And of course, in Colorado, we know that there’s been millions and millions of dollars that have been spent on people that have come here illegally, giving them benefits and all kinds of things. And so it’s no surprise that we’re in the situation that we are. They knew, the governor and the legislature knew this was coming down the pike. But from a political standpoint, I think that they wanted to get this big headline and then blame Donald Trump for this. And so with that, I think there’s going to very possibly be an attack to try to get rid of Tabor. With this big deficit, they’re not going to refund our Tabor refunds, it looks like to us. And our TABOR refunds is money that was overcollected by the government here in Colorado. It should be returned to the people. And that looks like that may not happen. This is real money that will make life more affordable for everyday people in Colorado if we get our TABOR refunds. But the Colorado State Legislature and governor looks like they’ll probably try to keep that. And so we will be – my fellow board members, we will be watching this legislation. And I don’t quite know what’s going to be submitted yet because many times politicians don’t show their hands. But we will be rating that – taking positions on that legislation every day during the legislative session. And we will be – Activating Cut Engaged, where you can easily go on and send a message to the bill sponsors and your legislators. And so we will have that ready to go as well. So this all starts on August 21st. I did want to mention the Center for American Values, which is located in Pueblo. It’s a nonprofit I dearly love. They are nonpolitical, nonpartisan, but they focus on educational programs, on values presentations to instill these foundational principles of honor, integrity, and patriotism, and then also their beautiful portraits of valor of over 160 of our Medal of Honor recipients, and support the Center for American Values And also check out Drew Dix’s new podcast series, uh, words from the silo. And she also completed Harvard University’s Strategy Execution for Public Leadership course, sharpening her skills in visionary and strategic leadership. And she’s written a new book. Priscilla Rahn, welcome to the show. It’s great to be on with you, Kim. And this looks like a very interesting book. Education in America is… We’re at an inflection point, I think, on education in America as people have realized that there’s been… indoctrination that’s that’s occurred instead of of teaching um helping kids be independent and think for themselves so this is a really important book how would you like to set this up for us regarding education in america today well you’re you’re right we’ve watched the decline of the public education system and and in general as well and i’ve had a front row seat as an educator
SPEAKER 07 :
as you know, someone who actually was involved in the teachers’ union at a very high level. And I thought I was doing good work. I thought I was being told all the things I needed to do to be an effective teacher. But at the end of the day, when you start to see generations of young people graduate with really no idea of what the workforce looks like or how to be a great employee, how to build wealth, how to be creative and be competitive in a global scale, you start to see the hopes and dreams of the future of your nation just go down the tubes. And I’ve also seen generations of students graduate who just hate America. And I started speaking up at faculty meetings, at school board meetings with school board members. And, you know, they’ll listen, but they didn’t act because I don’t think they even had the tools to make changes. So the book came about because I said, you know, I’m not going to complain anymore. I’m going to write a book, a professional development tool that if I could get this into the hands of every teacher, we could transform public education.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and I love the cover of the book. So tell us a little bit about that, because I can see that a lot of thought went into it.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, so I was thinking about, well, I had pitched my manuscript to a publisher, and when you do that, they’ll come back with a price tag of how much it would cost for you to not only get your book edited and published, but you need a designer, and this is a field, a professional field. cover designer, and I just didn’t have the type of money to pay someone to create a cover. So I used the tool, and that tool is called AI. And so when I went into AI, I said, here’s my book, here’s what I’m envisioning, here is, you know, give me some ideas, concepts of what I could put on a book cover. And so it spit out, you know, you might want to have a chalkboard in the background and an American flag and a globe and a toolbox. And. And ironically, it didn’t have the cross in my toolbox. So I had to create a superimpose the cross because of the faith element. I wanted to make sure that was in there. And so I wanted to be honest about if you take a look at judging the book by its cover, so to speak, right? You would pick this up and say, okay, this is conceptually going to be something I can use. And it’s going to take me back into a time where things are effective. I have all the things that I need. in order to get the job done. So that’s the concept of the cover.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. So let’s talk about the book. And first and foremost, one of the first things that you talk about is father figures, the foundation of every classroom. But what we have really seen since the 60s is… really trying to knock down that father figure, that strong male that provides for its family and protects the family, protects those around them. And we’ve really seen an assault upon that. I think that was one of the first things of Marxism. The first thing they have to do, I guess, as Kane has said, who’s the… founder of Task Force Freedom Northern Colorado, is the first thing that they had to do was to attack the lion in our society. So I find this interesting that this is the first chapter in your book.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, that was very intentional. When we were going through COVID and the BLM movement, their sole purpose was to break down the traditional families. And we know statistically, especially in the black community, that when you don’t have a father in the home, you’re more likely to have mental depression, more likely to miss school, more likely to grow up in poverty, more likely to commit crimes. We know this factually. And we saw this even with the emancipation of slaves. And right after the emancipation of slavery, we had the highest… two-parent family statistics. And ever since the Civil Rights Act, it actually discouraged black women from marrying the father of their children, the nuclear family. We see more divorce today. But biblically speaking, We know that fathers and men are the foundation of the home. When you don’t have strong fathers who know their purpose and walk in the purpose that God created them to be, then you have a destruction of family. So goes the father, so goes the family, so goes the community. So I intentionally started with fatherhood because we have seen women say, we don’t need men or women’s rights and feminism and all of these movements. to degrade the design that God has created for the families, not really understanding how important men and fathers are. And so I really wanted to elevate fathers and start there, because until we get that straight, we really have very little hope of changing the education of our children.
SPEAKER 04 :
So Priscilla, I’ve seen it very interesting with a number of, and I’ll just generalize, a number of millennial women that did grow up where they were taught that, hey, we don’t need a man, that career is more important than family, but may have gotten married and then divorced. And when we talk about the nuclear family, even if there is a divorce, a father still can be a real father figure in their children’s lives. Address that because with the divorce rate that we have in America, I think it’s important to still uphold fathers, even if there has been a divorce.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, that’s really critical. It’s, it’s, let me talk to divorced moms, divorced women. You have to be very, you have to have a lot of self-control, like no matter what happened in your relationship, you cannot prevent your children from having a good relationship with their father. I’ve seen it time and time again. I’ve seen great relationships with divorced couples and I’ve seen the toxic bad relationships where mother’s, speak so poorly of their ex-husbands or prevent their children from seeing their fathers. And that is so damaging where their hatred for their ex is stronger than their love for their children. And we have got to stop this behavior right now. I don’t think women realize how negatively they impact Well, I think maybe they do know how piercing it is for women to block relationships with their children, with their father, and how hurtful that is. And I think that’s on purpose. And so that’s also a heart issue. That’s a sin issue that women have to deal with in their own hearts. There’s got to be a lot of grace that goes around and love and, you know, just respecting the fact that This man will always be your child’s father. And as imperfect as we all are, we can’t be a part of hurting the upbringing of our child because it really does, at the end of the day, hurt children, hurt their children. I don’t think any mother really wants to do that.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s so interesting that you would bring that up. I had interviewed a Vietnam veteran, and he ended up, he did a lot of traveling and ended up in a divorce situation, and he had actually paid for his kids’ college education, and the mother never told the kids that he was doing any of those things. She did try to foster a rather toxic relationship situation. And it was years later that the new husband of the mother, when he found out that this was going on, he said, you have got to be honest with these children and let them know that yes, their father, even though he wasn’t totally in their lives, although he was providing and And I thought, wow, that is crazy that a mom would not tell her children the truth, in fact, would lie to the kids about that. The beautiful part of the story is after all these years, there has been reconciliation with the children. But just think of, again, that toxic message that was not even true. And to your point, I love the fact that you’re speaking to mothers on this as well. I think that’s really important.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, and that’s not to take away from single moms. I do address that in Chapter 1 because we do have single moms who are doing wonderful things and they’re doing their best, and every situation is different. But this spirit of revenge and, you know, I’m going to get you back and I’m going to make things difficult for you. That is not something that should be taking place. And especially for those of us women of faith, right? We have to do better. We have to be an example to the rest of the world. We have to be salt and light. And so we have the ability to impact our tiny circle individually. and then find other women that what, because the Bible talks about the older women teach the younger women. And although I’m not quote unquote old, I am not young either. And so I’m, I’m saying to the younger women who are going through their early stages in marriage, you’ve got to fight for your family. You’ve got to do your very best to elevate your husband, but that doesn’t mean you’re weak. I mean, look at Proverbs 31, the Proverbs 31 woman was an amazing capable woman and, She was buying and selling and she was raising her family. And the blessing that came from that is the men at the gate would say to her husband, boy, what an amazing wife you have. You know, she walks around and she’s got it going on and she’s beautiful and she’s smart and she’s capable. But everybody knows their role. And if we just walk in our role that God had designed, then things would be more peaceful. Not perfect because we’re still in our flesh, but… things would be much better. And so I wanted to encourage teachers how this goes back to education is don’t exclude fathers when you’re calling home about discipline or there’s an activity at school. You make sure you communicate with fathers. I used to only call mothers. And now if there’s a discipline problem with the child, I always call the dad. And I always give dad the first opportunity to address the disciplinary upbringing of their child.
SPEAKER 04 :

SPEAKER 04 :
And welcome back to the Kim Monson show. Check out our website. That’s Kim Monson, M O N S O N.com. I’m talking with Priscilla Ron. She is a master educator and she has a new book, restoring education in America and inspirational teacher toolbox. And Priscilla, you’ve divided the book up into four different parts. So tell us just a little bit about that.
SPEAKER 07 :
Sure. So part one was like establishing a foundation. It’s called The Foundation of an Educator’s Heart and Mindset. And that was geared towards establishing how you approach your classroom emotionally, mentally with your heart. So it’s a very heartfelt section of the book. The second part was becoming a master educator. And that is in direct opposition to what the teachers union does. It’s, you know, they don’t focus on developing master educators, but it’s the most critical thing that we can do as teachers is to hone our craft. So there are one, two, three, four, five chapters about that. And then the third part is elevating every student. We have seen a big movement where we’ve lowered expectations and we’ve had really soft standards for kids. So part three tackles how we elevate the students in our classroom. And then the final part is creating a future of opportunity. We can’t just stop at what’s happening when we have kids in front of us, but we have to lay the groundwork and help them see what a future for them looks like and set them up for the best possible opportunity to own property, raise a family, and live a great life.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and I had talked with people regarding kids, and I’m going to put this in disadvantaged communities, that because of their circumstances, that they need to lower standards, that they can’t achieve because of the color of their skin. And I would say I do not believe that. First of all, they’re treasured and valued. They’re each unique. And given expectations and teaching them how to read and write and do arithmetic, giving them those tools, I just don’t believe in the whole disadvantage they can’t get out of this and education can’t help, which I’ve heard people say.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right. It’s definitely a Marxist mentality. And I have a chapter where we talk about brain science and how children learn, and that has nothing to do. with the color of your skin. But people do have biases because they grew up with those biases and they didn’t have a teacher to explain to them how you view other human beings. And does poverty have something to do with education? It does. You know, we’ve seen there are quote unquote like deserts, right? And if you look at the map of the U.S., you can see like poverty has made an impact. But what really makes the biggest impact is the teacher in the classroom. And if we don’t have an army of teachers that understand how children learn, how to be a masterful teacher, what the jobs are in the market looks like, they’re not keeping up with jobs and building relationships with employers to partner their students with. If we don’t have educators that are equipped to with this knowledge, they’re going to continue to pump out young people who hate our country, who don’t have a future, who are going to go to college unprepared for freshman level math, who don’t have an understanding of where they fit in the global market. They don’t understand free trade and capitalism. They’re going to just believe what they’re told by left-wing media about what the world should look like and what their life should look like. And so that’s why this book is really critical to get into the hands of educators.
SPEAKER 04 :
So this came in from an educator. It says, try teaching a lesson the day after a shooting in the neighborhood. Or look at the brain science of not getting enough sleep. How would you address that? I’ve done it. Over 30 years of teaching.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’ve lived through 9-11. I’ve taught through 9-11. I’ve taught through COVID. I’ve taught through shootings. I’ve had students. I teach in Denver Public Schools, an urban district. And so what you do is you love those kids and you hug them. And being a great teacher and understanding brain science is about your practice daily. It doesn’t make you inhumane. It doesn’t mean you don’t understand. When children go through trauma, So this goes hand in glove, understanding your daily practice and changing your daily practice, but also being strong socially, sorry, emotional intelligence, which I talk about. I have a whole chapter about emotional intelligence. We’ve got to build resiliency because these are real things that happen in urban districts based on bad left wing policies. And we haven’t even gone there. You know, when you look at the difference between urban cities like Denver, Baltimore, Chicago, right, where we’re not doing justice to our kids and you’ve got folks not creating an economic opportunity and building a life and a future for our young people, they’re going to be more susceptible to crime. And so these are things that we have to talk about and address, but also start changing, doing the action steps to change this so that we can actually turn this Titanic around.
SPEAKER 04 :
OK, Priscilla, we’ve got just about a minute left, but I just want to iterate that we are spending an enormous amount of money on education and in Denver, spending a lot of money on education. But the results are not great that we have been getting. So that’s why I think this book is so important. So we’ve got a little over a minute left. A fascinating conversation. Priscilla Rahn, her book is Restoring Education in America, an Inspirational Teacher Toolbox. How would you like to wrap this up, Priscilla Rahn?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, right now you can buy my book on Amazon. I’m also doing a teacher book study where teachers who take my class, I as the author, walk teachers through every chapter. It’s a Socratic method, and you can get professional development credit, CDE credit, towards your license. It’ll be 20 credit hours. And so if someone wants to reach out to me, you can go to my website, PriscillaRon.com, and send me a message, and we can just go from there.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. And Priscilla Ron, that is spelled R-A-H-N. And so this can be professional development for teachers. And I really congratulate you on putting this together. I know that this is really a labor of love. Love the fact that you have a Bible verse in each chapter. I know that you put a lot of thought and love into this book. So thank you for doing this.
SPEAKER 07 :
Thank you for having me on, Kim.
SPEAKER 04 :
And I thought, as we were having Priscilla on, I thought, well, who’s some great teachers? And of course, she certainly is. And she said this. She said, every Renaissance comes to the world with a cry. And that cry is the cry of the human spirit to be free. So my friends today, be grateful, read great books, think good thoughts, listen to beautiful music, communicate and listen well, live honestly and authentically, strive for high ideals, and like Superman, stand for truth, justice, and the American way. My friends, you are not alone. God bless you. God bless America. Stay tuned for hour number two.

SPEAKER 08 :
The latest in politics and world affairs.
SPEAKER 04 :
Under this guise of bipartisanship and nonpartisanship, it’s actually tapping down the truth.
SPEAKER 08 :
Today’s current opinions and ideas.
SPEAKER 04 :
On an equal field in the battle of ideas, mistruths and misconceptions is getting us into a world of hurt.
SPEAKER 08 :
Is it freedom or is it force? Let’s have a conversation.
SPEAKER 04 :
Indeed, let’s have a conversation. And welcome to our number two of the Kim Monson Show. Thank you so much for joining us. As you know, we search for truth and clarity by looking at these issues through the lens of freedom versus force, force versus freedom. If something’s a good idea, you should not have to force people to do it. Really an interesting first hour that we’ll rebroadcast today on all KLZ 560 platforms, 1 to 2 in the afternoon, and a conversation with Priscilla Rahn. She’s a master educator, and the book is Restoring Education in America, an Inspirational Teacher Toolbox. So a very fascinating discussion. And so because we were having Priscilla on, I thought, who would be a great teacher to have as our quote of the day? And I went to Ann Sullivan Macy, and she was the teacher for Helen Keller. She was born in 1866. She died in 1936. And a fascinating story, there was a 1962 movie, The Miracle Worker. And then I remember reading the book as a child and was really inspired by the whole story of Ann Sullivan and Helen Keller. And this is the quote. And she said this, she said, must be made to train young people to think for themselves and take independent charge of their lives. And I love that quote. So then I thought, okay, word of the day. We went to strenuous. And strenuous is spelled S-T-R-E-N-O-U-S. And it could be to be vigorously active, energetic, fervent, zealous, or marked by or calling for energy or stamina. And so your challenge is to use the word strenuous in a sentence today. And that should be hopefully relatively easy to do that. Several headlines. Another thing. Have you seen this? Now, I talked a little bit about the Rooted in Littleton article. There’s going to be a question on the ballot where people are asking, going to be a ballot question about the fabric of Littleton. And I really congratulate these citizens for going to work and getting the petition signed to get this question on the ballot. Because yesterday when we were talking to Montrose Commissioner Sean Pond, What we are realizing is that decisions are being made regarding our communities by NGOs pushing things out and through boards and commissions which are not elected. And I was over in Centennial yesterday and a main street that is, they’re putting it on a road diet. So instead of just having the bike lanes, and when I was on city council, I said, how much is it costing to go in and paint all these bike lanes? Well, now they’re upping the game on that. So not only painting to have bike lanes by the side of the road, but then taking more of the road and putting in, I don’t know what you call them, little barricades and painting there so that it’s really making the lanes much, much smaller. It’s called a road diet. And the end game is World Economic Forum stuff, and that is to try to make it more difficult for people to be able to drive their cars. and to be able to park their cars. And ultimately this goes against the freedom of mobility. Ultimately then to try to push people into rental units. If you want to rent, that’s one thing. If you’re forced to rent because of public policy, that’s quite another thing. So then the other thing that we’re seeing then is under the guise of affordable housing, government comes in and subsidizes some people While other people have to pay full fare. And that is a unique way of just income redistribution is having somebody have to pay. Let’s say you have an apartment building and one person is paying. I have this in air quotes market rents. The developer is going to get market rent for these the affordable rents. apartment but the way that that is affordable is that the taxpayer is subsidizing that market that rent to get it up to market rent for the developer so you can see the developer will do okay government i’ll do whatever you say because i’m still going to get market rent but it’s a way to redistribute and make things unfair and And we have seen that. In fact, I had I think it was a bill regarding taxes on Social Security here in Colorado, and it had bipartisan support. And but what it had was means testing. And what means testing is, is that looks at income and for people that were in the lower income brackets, that they got a bigger share of their income tax credit. And it may be a little bit fuzzy. This may be a little bit more of just how it normally can work. So I’m not going to say this is exactly the way it was with that bill. But whatever means testing is, is it tries to ding the people that are making more money. Why are they making more money? Maybe they’re working harder. Maybe they’re taking more risk. And so instead, it’s dinging the people that are doing that and redistributing their income to somebody that, for whatever reason, may not be making as much money, may not be working as hard. And if you really drill down into this, it’s based in Marxism by putting people in different groups, treating different groups differently. And that is one of the things that is one of the tenets of Marxism, which is antithetical to the American idea of the individual being able to keep most of the fruits of their labor and to be able to go after their hopes and dreams and to reap the benefits of their decisions or the consequences of their decisions. And getting away from that responsibility of having to take responsibility for one’s actions is really starts to go out and decimate the fabric of our society. And so we are at that position now and people are really waking up. So I wanted to say congratulations to the group rooted in Littleton. For the work that they’re doing. And then I wish the Centennial City Council would say no to this whole road diet thing. And in fact, there’s another headline here. Let me find it. That is that on Alameda. Now I can’t find, I have too many here. Oh, here we go. Plans to limit lanes on East Alameda Avenue in Denver triggers opposition. I love the fact that people are finally starting to stand up and say, no, this does not make sense. And the other thing that I find so interesting is the road diets are on major thoroughfares like South Broadway. uh this is a place that cars need lanes so that they can and they also talk about congestion so they say we want to work on congestion but yet they’re putting these roads on road diets well it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you limit the lanes then you’re going to have more congestion so all the things that these pbis these politicians bureaucrats and interested parties say that they’re trying to do. It’s actually about more control. And people are starting to say, wait a minute. But as the ad that we have from Mike Rolick regarding this meeting in Arvada on the 19th is when the bulldozers show up, it’s a little too late. So we need to be paying attention to what is going on out there. And these are important discussions that we have. And one of our great sponsors is John Bozen with Bozen Law. We’ve got him on the line. And, John, welcome. And I was wondering a little bit about auto insurance. We’ve talked with Roger Mangan on a regular basis about that. But in your business, what’s your thoughts on auto insurance?
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, good morning, Kim, and very well explained earlier. Road diets, what a concept. But on a regular basis, Kim, at least a couple times a week. I have the opportunity to talk with folks about what their auto insurance coverage is, what type and what amounts. Excuse me, I’ve got a little bit of a cough this morning, but I hear on a regular basis almost 90% of the time folks really don’t understand what coverage they have, and they need to understand that because it’s super important. When someone gets involved in an accident, a Their coverage will tell me whether they have any coverage for the accident or not because a lot of folks out there that are causing these accidents have no liability insurance. It’s required in the state of Colorado, but a lot of folks don’t follow the law. And when you get involved in an accident with someone that does not have auto insurance coverage, you turn to your own insurance, and if you were with a good agent… They educated you on the need to have what’s called uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. And that’s super critical in the state because there are so many uninsured drivers out there. And when they cause an accident, if you’re the victim, you don’t have uninsured, underinsured motorist coverage, it’s very likely there’s not going to be anything I can do for you. Other coverages, too, and from a liability standpoint, If we, one of us, cause an accident, we want to make sure we have enough insurance coverage to cover the damages caused and suffered by the other party. And if you don’t have enough liability coverage, attorneys like myself will look at and determine what assets you have and what contribution you may be able to make to the insurance coverage that you have. So knowing your coverage is so important. And so many people don’t have any idea what kind of coverage they have or the amounts. So I encourage people, talk to your agent. Make sure you’ve got enough coverage for yourself to protect yourself if you’re at fault. Make sure that you have uninsured, underinsured motorist coverage to protect yourself if you get involved in an accident with someone that has no insurance coverage.
SPEAKER 04 :
And, Will, and John Bozen, this is really good advice, and that will be a great segue to talk about the Roger Mangan State Farm Insurance team. But if someone is injured, prompt action is so important. What is that number to call you, John Bozen, and Bozen Law?
SPEAKER 15 :

Again, that’s kim at kimmonson.com.
SPEAKER 04 :
And welcome back to the Kim Monson Show. Check out our website. That is Kim Monson, M-O-N-S-O-N.com. That ad that you heard regarding Arvada, that website is RalstonValleyCoalition.org. That’s RalstonValleyCoalition.org. I love the fact, this takes a lot of time for citizens to get organized and to get activated. And it is late in the game as the It says in that ad, when the bulldozers show up, it’s too late. And many times we don’t realize something’s going on until the bulldozers show up. So good work on that. I wanted to say thank you to the Harris family for their gold sponsorship of the show. It is really because of all of our sponsors and all of you and your support that our independent voice on this independent station is shedding light on all of these issues that are out there. We’re having conversations. that you will not hear most other places. But these are the things that really affect your lives. And so that’s why we have them. And speaking of things that affect our lives, on the line with me is Pam Long. And she is a West Point graduate. She is a former captain in the Army Medical Service Corps. And she is the military director for Children’s Health Defense, which was founded by Bobby Kennedy. Of course, he’s now the Health and Human Services Secretary under the Trump administration. But Pam had written a piece regarding, let me get over here to it, to asset theft, basically, senior asset theft. And she had somebody that had read the article and it really hit a nerve with her. And so Pam thought, okay, I need to do part two. So Pam Long, welcome to the show.
SPEAKER 06 :
Thank you, Kim. And this person who contacted me told me this was the only article that is on the Kim Monson website that she could find on this topic of protecting senior citizens from asset theft by the collusion of doctors and judges. She experienced this in her family. And so to your point, we are having conversations on your show that no one else is talking about.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and to that point, very interesting, Erin Lee, whose daughter was targeted by the radical transgender movement in an after-school program, we broke that story on the show. And then Lori Gibbelstein with Colorado Parents Advocacy Network said, She said our radio show was the first place that they’ve been that they were on the air. And of course, both of them have have really become important voices, just as you are an important voice. And so actually, before we get into your article, you’ve been all over the place regarding your most recent essay that we published. So tell us just a little bit about that.
SPEAKER 06 :
So on your website, you have an article entitled The Top Ten Scams in Public Health that Every Parent Should Know. a listener that leads a Liberty minded group reached out and said, Hey, can you come talk to my group about this? We have a lot of questions. And I did, I showed up and these, these people were so wonderful in Arvada. They were, every person in the audience had a pen and paper and was taking notes. And that has just led to, I’m talking to like four other groups this month on the same topic in Jefferson County and in Loveland and other places that have And you know what, Kim, the energy is amazing that people who maybe were not open to this type of corruption in our medical system are now absolutely open to hearing this information.
SPEAKER 04 :
And again, you’re all over the place on that particular subject. So good for you. But I did not realize that our article, this woman really searched you out regarding protecting senior citizens from asset theft by collusion of doctors and judges, part two, because she lives out of state, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. She lives on the East Coast. I don’t want to say too much about her identity because of, I mean, they almost fear for their lives at this point. And she called me through the show. She contacted me. We talked for 90 minutes. And so what asset theft is in this context, it’s when a doctor declares that a person no longer has the mental capacity to make medical decisions and and then colludes with the judge to appoint a court-ordered guardian. And then that guardian takes control of not only all the medical decision-making, but all of the assets of the victim to pay for all the medical decisions the guardian makes. And then the victim is put into some conspiring facility and is usually heavily sedated and disconnected from family. And that’s what happened to this woman with her 93-year-old father in 2024. This is happening right now. So what happened? Let’s call him Gary. That’s not his real name. Gary and his wife are living independently in their home and both were in good health at the age of 90. Gary’s wife had power of attorney for medical decision making for her husband. But Gary one day went to a hospital with just a sore on his foot to have it evaluated and And the hospital doctor shockingly told the family that Gary had a terminal diagnosis of osteomyelitis. With weeks to live, he needed surgery for an amputation. He would need a prosthetic and eventually hospice. The family went into shock. They also told the family that Gary was an infectious risk to his wife. And she could no longer take care of him. He was immediately transferred to a facility. And the family went into disbelief, as you could imagine. So they initially allowed for this facility to care for Gary while they tried to cope with this diagnosis and the emotional trauma to his wife. And this initial placement. in this facility is what started an eight-month nightmare scenario involving doctors, hospital lawyers, judges, appointed guardians that I can only describe as organized crime. And they would learn later, months later, that Gary never had this disease. He had a simple fungal infection.
SPEAKER 04 :
So why do they do this? Somebody must be making money on this, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
This is big money, Kim. I found an estimate that these guardians are controlling $273 billion in assets. Billion? With a B? Billion. With a B. And what the judges do is they have a preference for the court appointed guardians. Obviously, everyone’s getting kickbacks. Everyone I just listed that’s involved, they’re all getting kickbacks from this. And it is organized crime. And the judge will say that when the family petitions the court after they’ve paid a huge sum in legal bills, you know, for maybe one, you know, one day in court, that they’re worried that the family’s trying to take over the victim’s money and assets and that this court-appointed guardian will be a better suited person that’s not just trying to steal their parents’ money. In reality, this guardian is going to liquidate everything in the estate, and not only for medical bills, but the guardians can bill hourly. They can bill 24 hours in a day for their time. They can bill for their own legal fees. The family then pays the guardian’s legal fees. It’s such a racket.
SPEAKER 04 :
Wow. So we’ll continue the discussion with Pam Long, protecting senior citizens from asset theft by collusion of doctors and judges. But it’s not just doctors and judges. And on the line with me is Pam Long. She’s an author here at the Kim Monson Show. She’s also a West Point graduate and a former captain in the Medical Service Corps and the military director for Children’s Health Defense. And Pam, I referred to Bobby Kennedy as that he was the founder of Children’s Health Defense. And one of our listeners said, Kim, there’s more than one person who goes by the name of Bobby Kennedy. One of them was assassinated in Los Angeles, and that is RFK Jr.’ ‘s father. And the other is the current HHS director. And they just wanted to clarify and then clarify children’s health defense as well, just to give a little bit of background on that.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is our current secretary of health and human services. He is the founder of Children’s Health Defense, which is a nonprofit, nonpolitical. And he resigned as president of the board before taking his position. You know, there’s a very there’s requirements between C3s and C4s and candidates and nonprofits. And now Children’s Health Defense is in line with all of those requirements.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. Thank you for that clarification. Now let’s get back over here to your protecting senior citizens from asset theft by collusion of doctors and judges part two, because you said in the piece that it’s not just doctors and judges. There is others that are involved in this whole collusion as well.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. So what happened to Gary in this situation is that after he gets this horrible diagnosis, which is completely fraudulent and requires all these really expensive procedures, While the family’s figuring this out, this diagnosis, he’s put into a facility and he’s heavily sedated. And when the family is able to visit him, he looks very neglected. The facility becomes very hostile to the family and their concerns, and even the wife calling to check on Gary while he’s at this facility. So the facility petitions the courts for a guardian, alleging that Gary’s wife can no longer take care of him. And the family paid $12,000 initially for just one day in court. where they lost, and the judge appointed a guardian for Gary. This guardian now controlled all medical decisions, even visitations by family members. And the guardian even gave preference to Gary’s estranged son, who the family had a restraining order against for prior violence. And so the hospital lawyer went to great lengths, like he had done this before, to hinder the family in this legal process. He would use the wrong address or the incorrect postage so the family would not get the required notifications on the legal process for the hearing date and all the paperwork that’s required and everything. So this is medical abduction. So once the guardian is in control, she transferred Gary to another facility without updating the family. At one point, Gary was in a facility that charged up to $4,000 per day billed to the family, and the family found Gary, and they reported that he had signs of neglect. He had a urinary tract infection, pneumonia. He was showing signs of decline that weren’t there before. He even lost the ability to speak. So the guardian attempted to impose a no trespass order on the family, but police were able to help in this case. They are not always able to get Gary to a hospital for treatment. After treatment, Gary’s transferred to another facility. They’re looking for the highest, you know, costing facilities where they can fill a bed. And Gary went into renal failure, unfortunately, and the guardian opted not to treat it. He was intubated. He asphyxiated. And under the guardians do not resuscitate order, a DNR, Gary died by choking, basically. However, it’s very strange that his death certificate reported that he died of cardiac arrest. This was an eight-month process after the court-appointed guardian took control of his care. But during this eight-month process… The guardian incurred $250,000 in medical bills for the family and $22,000 in legal bills.
SPEAKER 04 :
Within eight months, basically. Within eight months. Goodness. Question on the death certificate. Was that a coroner who would have put that on there or would it have been somebody at the facility or do you know?
SPEAKER 06 :
They don’t know yet. There’s obviously something going on. There’s some agenda, either some type of, you know, cover up or I don’t know, does the facility get to bill more for cardiac arrest versus, you know, choking? They don’t really know. It’s very suspicious.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. And so this whole thing, you had a long conversation with this woman. And so you mentioned there’s an estranged son. You know, the family dynamics can be weird. So Gary was basically pretty fine when he went into the hospital. He had this thing on his foot. I think the question is, it’s subjective, any weird dynamics as we’re hearing the story? And you say the story plays out multiple times over in our country at this time.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. So in the first article I wrote, which is on your website, I talk about the people who tend to be targeted have no family, right? They don’t want any interference. They just want to, you know, medically kidnap these people, take control of their assets and liquidate them as soon as possible, where either they have no family or their family’s too far away or not in relationship. routine contact so they can make this happen quickly before anyone knows about it. Gary’s an exception. He’s showing us that this operation has expanded to people who have family that are very involved in the lives of these victims and nearby and responsible people with resources to pay for lawyers and such. And this family was adamant that, so what happened is the brother or the son of Gary had been violent and the sister had a restraining order on him. This person had been violent against Gary and his wife as well, but they decided this is our son. We don’t want to actually pursue, you know, getting restraining order. And they just, they were estranged. And the family regrets that. They regret because it wasn’t strong enough in court to say, well, you know, he has demonstrated violence. He has a restraining order against the sibling. They’re like, well, why didn’t you file for a restraining order against your son? So that was manipulated to say that he wasn’t a threat to the family. And he absolutely was recruited to collude with this guardian in all of this.
SPEAKER 04 :
OK, so again, you could see when money’s involved, people do weird things. So you could I’m just surmising that perhaps because he’s estranged. And again, this is perhaps and I’m surmising that he might not have been included in the will or he was concerned that he might not be. So this would be a way that he could possibly receive funds as well. Again, this is all surmising. Don’t know for sure, but people do funny things when money is involved. And so we haven’t really hit on it. And so I want to talk a little bit more about what happened with Gary. As you said, there was an estate planner in the hospital. There were attorneys. And so that happened. increases the number of different people that are involved in collusion. That’s why you did this part two on the piece. Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s the most important part of this discussion today is that the hospital lawyer was married to an estate planner and the family absolutely believes that estate planners are important. That they’re targeting people, they’re using Medicare lists to have consultations to target people, and then they’re working, colluding with hospital lawyers. So when you show up in the hospital, you are potentially on a list, a targeted list. of someone who has assets and we’re talking about just normal people who own their own home your home can be sold by a guardian to pay for your bills or anything you own and so um this family really said be careful with the estate planners they even have offices and hospitals now and that even making small talk at any medical appointment, at any rehab facility, with any doctor, this little small talk of, oh, where do you live? Who do you live with? That small talk could make you a victim that they’re targeting. Oh, this person owns a home that can be liquidated. This person lives in a nice neighborhood. So to be really careful about discussing anything, any assets that have any value in your life.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and I think that many people, particularly elderly people, really trust the medical field, although after COVID, we’re all questioning things to some degree. But to your point is be very careful who you disclose your assets to. And let’s just set up this scenario. As you mentioned, Gary’s scenario is unique because the families involved But let’s say somebody, their children are very far away. They are not in contact with them, don’t have children. You could see how they could become victims. And it’s not just taking their stuff, but being in charge of medical care that could contribute to their demise and their death, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
Absolutely, Kim. And another victim who I wrote about in the first article talked about this. She said this is worse than incarceration. have rights and these guardians take control over you know they can take your phone they can have you heavily sedated they can control your mail they control who visits you you are at the mercy of these criminals making decisions not for your well-being but what costs the most what can be billed the most so they can liquidate more and more of your assets Pam Long what can be done about this? Well, this family told me that, first of all, it’s very difficult to find an attorney to help you in this process because so many of them are tied to these hospitals and facilities. But they actually said something chilling to me. They said that once this petition for a guardian goes to court, it’s too late because this is so rigged with the judges in favor of the guardians. There’s so much money involved, and everyone’s getting kickbacks. And when When she’s telling me this, I said, you know, what is the solution here? You know, lawyers aren’t helping us. Judges aren’t helping us. Oversight agencies aren’t responding. They know it’s happening. I personally, this person did not say this to me, but my takeaway was if you’re in a situation where this, you know, you’re being, you know, offered to put a loved one in a facility and you disagree with the diagnosis or the decision, You have to take action before either they’re put in that facility, you’ll lose control. Sometimes security and police are involved that won’t let you discharge them. Before it goes to court, you will likely lose in court. And so whatever that means for your family. I know what I’m doing. I’m getting my mom out of that facility. If this ever happened to her, by any means possible, because I know what’s now, I know the outcome in court is against us, right? And you’re going to spend tens of thousands of dollars because I think, like you said, Kim, older people are so trusting. And in general, our society, we think if I just follow the rules and if I go to court, the judge will see that we’re competent, caring people. We’re not trying to steal, you No, we are operating in a corrupt system. So I would do whatever it takes to get my family member out of the facility. And if I needed to take a long vacation to get out of this you know, this guardianship rigged system, I would do it. So but there are preventative measures, you can, you can do all the right things legally to put some you could become your parents when they get to a certain age, like 90, you need to consider should I become their legal guardian and take control of their assets so that no one else can steal it from them.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and again, family dynamics for that 90-year-old person, gosh, family relationships can be weird. Boy, I think each situation is unique, yes? Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
It is, but I think the knowledge we have now is that asset planners are involved. It’s way more organized and more people are involved than we ever thought, and that anyone can be targeted, not just people who don’t have kids or don’t have relatives near them. Anyone can be targeted.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I think we also then, I think a message to all of us is we need to make sure that we are communicating with the people in our lives and staying on top of this. And we’re going to have to shed more light on this. I’m thinking, again, of that elderly person by themselves and how they could really be targeted. They may own their home and have other assets. You could see how this could happen under the radar. And I guess it’s happening big time because you said there’s billions of dollars involved.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. And we I mean, we know there are hot spots where there are high senior populations like in Florida and in Texas. But I would think now after this interview that anywhere where older people have affluence in assets like right here in Colorado, this is happening. I had a friend here in Colorado tell me that her doctor asked for a copy of her will that is highly inappropriate and that is a red flag.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. So Pam Long, we will publish this this weekend. You’re doing such amazing work and protecting senior citizens from asset theft by collusion of doctors and judges part two. And so be sure and check out that website. That is AmericanValueCenter.org. And on the line with us is Gammy. As you know, she is a listener of the show. She does amazing research. She really has her finger on the pulse of much of what’s going on out there. Gammy, what is on your radar?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, thank you for blowing that much smoke at me. You guys, to me, are the real heroes. As far as I’m concerned, not too many people can humble me because, you know, I’m this warrior out there. But you two humble me all the time. I just think you rock. But let me tell you, I’ve been 35 years in commercial and residential real estate. And I have done, through COVID, you know, gratis, no pay, consulting to anybody, patriots that needed help. And in the last month, I have had four families that reached out with trouble. Two of them were medical. And I said, well, I’m seeing something. And two of them were about transgender relationships with parents and school counselors, nightmares, all of them, all four. And I said, I’ve said this 100 times to people. You have got to know what advocacy means to you in your life in both legal terms, a good, trusted lawyer that you can get to help you with the basics, which Pam mentioned, you know, not just a will, but powers of attorney, durable, medical, et cetera, so that that cannot happen to you because you have legal grounding and roots. And then in terms of the transing and all the horrible nightmares that are, you know, and I’m getting ready to document some stuff. Someday I’ll be worthy to get in your newsletter. But the bottom line is this. On the trans end, I sent them to Our Duty and to CPAN and to PKC, everywhere where we have resources available. where there are not just lawyers, but counselors who are neutral, who aren’t going to do the agenda of immediately affirming a gender different from the biological reality of that human being. And what I’m telling you is there is not enough information and outreach to tell people, look, Spend a little money now to secure your family’s advocacy rights or the state. And one of these people didn’t have a will. It’s called intestate. And there’s real estate involved. And I’ve done closings, transactions where they were for estates, right? And the nightmares that occurred, the money, extra money spent because one was fighting the other and because the person that passed away did not have anything documented legally. Don’t just go on the Internet and do, you know, easy breezy. Get a real human being that will be there to support your family when bad things happen. But it has got to be not just in the real estate and financial world. It has got to be in relation to our children and the schools and these counselors who are taking charge. This is that’s it. That’s what I want.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I’m just going to throw something out here. Richard, the limo guy, had sent me a text message yesterday that the Minnesota Vikings are welcoming a male cheerleader. Now, we’ve seen male cheerleaders in college teams, and they do the stuff of when they throw the girls up, then they catch them. I don’t think that that’s the kind of male cheerleader that the Minnesota Vikings are going to have. They have a picture of somebody that’s clearly a male with a mustache but having makeup and things, and then apparently the North Carolina Panthers are I’ve got to find this in this article. We’ll probably talk more about it tomorrow. But shame on them because this is, once again, discounting women if, in fact, they’re referring to them as male cheerleaders, but there are males that are wanting to dress up like females. This is a travesty, I think. I know this is probably going to trigger you just a little bit. We’ve got about a minute left. Gammy, what’s your comments on that?
SPEAKER 05 :
I think you’re right. It does trigger me because, first of all, you can’t lift a woman, a small cheerleader can’t lift a guy up. But it goes to the fact that people are ignoring the president’s executive orders that have been already initiated. And it’s called sanity and reason. And until the communities, we’re going to have to go all the way back to local small communities who take charge and say, this is not reality. This is mental illness. Not to malign that person. You know, trans individuals keep saying we’re attacking them. No, no, no, no. I feel bad for all the young people who have been misled by the money grubbing. Doctors and shrink psychiatrists, you know, who are used, the whole system that is playing on them because there are billions and billions of dollars involved. And we either take America back, take Colorado back from the gulag that it’s becoming, or we are gone.
SPEAKER 04 :
We have got to see the parents. Well, and that is why to have these NFL teams, you know, what’s the what’s one of the last bastions of of males, the lion, the football game? It’s it’s can be attributed to looking like like a battle game. And so what is a great way to start to undercut that whole thing is instead of having the guys out on the football field in battle for the game, that in fact now you then have guys dressing up like women on the sidelines. And this is just antithetical to football. um to society and of course the messages then that’s going to be sending to all the fans all the young fans and so i think that we really need to be reaching out and say we want to keep women in uh nfl cheerleaders as nfl cheerleaders and not adding in men to all that gammy i do appreciate all the great work that you’re doing and i know that you care deeply and all of you listeners and and i did have a listener the last two numbers in your phone number is 88 and you said is this the correct number for the kim monson show yes it is that number is 720 605 0647 720 605 0647 and our quote for the end of the show comes from anne sullivan macy she said every renaissance comes to the world with a cry the cry of the human spirit to be free so today be grateful read great books think good thoughts listen to beautiful music communicate and listen well if honestly and authentically strive for high ideals and like superman stand for truth justice and the american way my friends you are not alone god bless you and god bless america talking about freedom
