HR3 All Things Political with Jerzee Joe. In Memory of Charlie Kirk: His Beliefs. 9-11-25 by John Rush
SPEAKER 20 :
This is Rush to Reason. You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes. With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 17 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did.
SPEAKER 06 :
Get a job first. You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 14 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 20 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 05 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush, presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 18 :
All right, we are back. Hour number three, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Thanks for tuning in. And Richard just sent me something that, before I bring Joe up, the Naval Academy is on lockdown as there are some reported threats there as we speak. Joe, what’s going on?
SPEAKER 03 :
John, I apologize. I didn’t hear the first hour and a half of the show, so I don’t know what you’ve covered and what you’d like to cover. I’ve got a whole raft of things we could talk about. And as far as Charlie Kirk, rather than lamenting his death, I’ve got a couple of clips where I think we can celebrate his life and some of the things he said and accomplished. I’ve also got my 9-11 story to tell if you want to hear that. I know I told it to you last year, but I could
SPEAKER 18 :
No, I always love hearing that. So let’s do this. I want to do some 9-11 stuff. Let’s go ahead and play something, though, on behalf of Charlie. I’m with you. I think that not any disrespect. I know there’s a lot of folks out there that respected him greatly. He was a great leader, and I fully understand that. In fact, if something ever happens to me, I’ve already told my family that, you know what, I want to have a big celebration. I don’t want anybody running around in the doldrums because, guess what, I’m better off than you are at that point. So at the end of the day, you can have a good celebration and enjoy yourselves.
SPEAKER 03 :
Here’s Charlie talking about how our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution was basically crafted around the concept of a god, of a creator. Can we play that clip?
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, I can play it. You ready, Charlie?
SPEAKER 16 :
Here we go. Our country was taught on common law because the Declaration only refers to God four times and the Constitution doesn’t refer to God at all. And it only articulates the structure of government.
SPEAKER 08 :
So first of all, remember that we were a collection of states and colonies, and you need to read the state constitutions before anything else. 9 out of 13 of the original states required you to be a Bible-believing Christian to serve in government at the time of the founding. 13 out of 13 required a declaration of faith. 9 out of 13 required you to be a Protestant, except Maryland, which was Catholic, which still required a declaration of faith. Almost every single one of the original state constitutions, Pennsylvania included, they had, I profess Lord and Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in the original state constitutions. you remember we’re a collection of states before that secondly 55 to 56 of the original signers of the declaration were bible believing church attending christians so common law is inherited from blackstone who was christian a common law is an outgrowth of the scriptures so let’s go to three principles of common law presumption of innocence due process injury of your peers all three are biblical principles wrapped into the ultimate biblical principle that you shall not favor justice if you are rich or poor which is leviticus 19 right before the most famous part of leviticus 19 which is that you should love your neighbors yourself. But before that is that in the administration of justice, you shall not favor the rich or the poor, which is the idea of blind justice. We get that in the West, which is incorporated also in the New Testament ideal. Neither slave nor Greek nor Jew. You’re all one in Jesus Christ. There’s the idea of human equality. These are all biblical ideas. They’re not enlightenment ideas, which is they kind of get conflated at the time. But more importantly than that, they say that God was only mentioned once. Four times in the Declaration of Independence. Well, that’s a big deal. Okay. Laws of nature and nature’s God. The last paragraph of the Declaration reads as a prayer. It says, we appeal to the supreme judge of the universe. Who’s the judge of the universe? Jesus Christ. It says in Revelation that Jesus will judge the earth on his throne. So in the Declaration, they were praying to Christ our Lord as a prayer very specifically. thirdly as i set up stage yesterday deuteronomy was by far the most quoted book religious or non-religious in the time of the founding when they were putting together constitution more than john locke more than montesquieu more than blackstone the book of deuteronomy which talked about laws customs traditions it was moses farewell address as he’s about to say goodbye say hey good luck in canaan guys here’s how you should set up your form of government But finally, and most importantly, let’s look at actually what the founders said. John Adams seamlessly said the Constitution was only written for a moral religious people. It was wholly inadequate for the people of any other. The body politic of America was so Christian and was so Protestant that our form and structure of government was built for the people that believed in Christ our Lord. One of the reasons we’re living through a constitutional crisis is that we no longer have a Christian nation, but we have a Christian form of government, and they’re incompatible. So you cannot have liberty if you do not have a Christian population. Very well said.
SPEAKER 03 :
And that started off with some other people trying to poo-poo the idea of, you know, God, well, God is only mentioned by name four times. But as he points out, God is woven through. I’m sorry, John?
SPEAKER 18 :
Even that four times, as he said, even four times is a big deal.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. And then this, you know, supreme creator, you know, the word G-O-D only appears four times, but the whole content, when you talk about the creator, you know, that’s You know, how do you not accept the fact that the reference to the Supreme Creator is also a reference to God, and that everything he talked about, the principles, biblical principles, are woven through our founding documents. Right. And by the way, you know, Charlie Kirk was 31. You know, all but two of the founders, San Jose, were between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. You know, people didn’t live very long back in the 1700s. You know, I think the average lifespan was like 48 or something. Right, right.
SPEAKER 19 :
And these people…
SPEAKER 03 :
Very few of them were much older than Charlie Kirk, and this was a young Christian nation pulling together and founding this nation. on Christian principles at the same time.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, Judeo-Christian principles, exactly, Joe, and that’s one thing that the Marxist side wants you to always forget, or they want to bury that, or they want to erase it from history, I guess, if you would, and that’s where a lot of these folks would even come up to the podium and say some of the things that Charlie answered just a moment ago, and they’re still saying some of those things, because the Marxists, again, they do not want us believing in an Almighty God, a Creator, at all.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. And at the same time, those same founders… you know, put the First Amendment, is that you will have the freedom of religion, which is to worship the god of your choice or no god at all. So it wasn’t like you have to worship our god.
SPEAKER 18 :
You have the freedom to do whatever, in other words, you have free will, do whatever you want.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. If you want to worship, you know, Buddha, you want to worship, you know, Satan, you want to worship no god, you’re free to do that. The government is not going to tell you what god you have to worship or that you have to worship at all. which is at odds, by the way, with some of the states, as you heard him say initially, declare that you had to declare yourself to be a believer, but that never made it into our Constitution.
SPEAKER 18 :
And I just want to add this, because I said this during the first hour, but I want to reiterate it as well, and that is that, yes, we have a Bill of Rights, first, second, third, and on we go, Joe. But there was big, deep discussions early on as to whether or not those needed to be added on to the Constitution, included, because they weren’t included in the original Constitution. Those were, quote, unquote, an add-on. And I’m sorry to say, Joe, in my opinion, a lot of the founders decided we better add these in for the stupid people.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 18 :
I’m sorry. I don’t know how else to say it, Joe. That’s exactly why they added them.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, you heard him say that the founders thought that, or he was quoting one of the founders saying, You know, this is, for Christian people, you wouldn’t need this. But we have to recognize that not everybody’s going to be Christian, therefore we’re going to need these other laws, because not everyone is going to conduct themselves as a good Christian, which is why we need to have all these other provisions.
SPEAKER 18 :
I.e., we have the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, and on and on we go.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right. Now, something else Charlie Kirk said just four months ago, April 7th, here’s what he said, and this was somewhat prophetic. He posted this on X about the assassination culture in this country, and this is a direct quote. He said, assassination culture is spreading on the left. 48% of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk, and 55% said the same thing about murdering Donald Trump. In California, activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangione. The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response. This is the natural outgrowth of the left-wing protest culture, tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end. The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials. have turned the left into a ticking time bomb.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yep. So, question, you’ve had some time to maybe ponder this from yesterday when we had conversation, and, you know, right after this happens, you know, your mind’s going a hundred different directions trying to decipher what to do and even what to say and how to respond to people and so on, but now that we’ve got, you know, 24 hours… Joe, to think through this. What do you feel moving forward will come of this? I personally think that there’s going to be a lot of especially younger people that look at this and say, hey, time out here. This guy, for all of his quote-unquote evils that people say, if you really listen to him, and a lot of people now will, to go find out for themselves how bad was he. And when they start listening to him, they’ll realize that from the conversation we just heard, by the way, Joe, he’s not putting anybody down. He’s simply factually stating, these are the things that I believe in. These are factually the things that happened historically. These are the things that happened not only when it comes to the Constitution, but in Scripture with Christ and so on. He’s very factual in the things that he put out. And I think a lot of people will go look at that. Kids especially will go look at that and say, well, wait a minute. You guys killed him over just having an opinion?
SPEAKER 03 :
He was a bright light, and it reminds me of what Martin Luther King once said, hate cannot drive out hate, only light can drive out hate. And Charlie Kirk was a light, and I think if we want to drive out hate, we need to continue bringing the light, speaking the truth, correcting. When I spend some of my time, John, and I’ve actually had a few, you know every morning I spend about 30 minutes trying to correct the rhetoric that people have bought into and start to… And the phrase useful idiot for those, you know, it was Karl Marx and Lenin. Useful idiot is somebody who will believe, act on, and repeat the lies they’re told by government. And, John, on the left, there are so many useful idiots. You know, these liberal websites will put up the most outrageous lies about what’s in the big, beautiful bill, something Trump did, something Trump intends to do. And these people with no hint, no fact-checking, They believe it. Oh, this is awful, and they share it. I mean, some of these lies get shared, John, 1,400 times in the first 30 minutes. I’m going… How stupid are you people? Nothing in this is true, yet you’ve shared it 1,400 times in 30 minutes.
SPEAKER 18 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 03 :
It drives me insane.
SPEAKER 18 :
That’s right. We’ve got about 10 minutes or so left, Joe. That gives you plenty of time. If we need a little more time, we can go a little longer. But I do want to hear your story of September 11th. It’s a great reminder of what happened that day. A lot of folks that are of our age, of course, that were there. you know, working and doing things during that time. There’s a lot of young people that don’t know anything about 9-11. But I think it’s important to, A, never forget, just like Pearl Harbor, we need to continue to remind ourselves of what happened that day. And the reality is it changed the world. I mean, everything regarding flight travel, especially, Joe, for each and every one of us changed.
SPEAKER 03 :
It certainly did. And that morning, I was, you know, living down in Larkspur, and I had to attend a trade show in Chicago that day at McCormick Place. Don’t know if you’ve ever been there.
SPEAKER 18 :
Nope.
SPEAKER 03 :
Anyway, so I drive up to DIA, barely make the plane. I get there about 630 in the morning, go through the jet bridge and get on the plane. Plane takes off. We’re in the air about an hour. Pilot comes on over the PA system, says, ladies and gentlemen, we’ve just been advised that there’s been a national emergency declared and we’ve been ordered to land at the nearest suitable airport. And in our case, that airport is Omaha, Nebraska. Now, we had no idea what the national emergency was. So we landed Omaha, Nebraska. and I come down the jet bridge and into the main seating area and boarding area. And I look up in the monitors and I see the world trade centers coming down and people, two planes, terrorists. And then I hearing of the PA system, uh, due to the terrorist attack in New York city, the airport is closed. There’ll be no flights anywhere in the United States until further notice. I said, well, I’m not going to Chicago and I don’t want to be stuck in Omaha. So let me go see if I can get a rental car. So I, immediately head up to the main terminal area. And as soon as I get there, the lines in front of every rental, there must be 50, 60 people in front of each rental car counter. But because I was such a frequent traveler, I had premier status with Hertz and Avis. And I knew that most airports had a premier kiosk.
SPEAKER 18 :
You just go walk up and go.
SPEAKER 03 :
So I right away head down to the parking garage. First thing I see is Avis. I see the kiosk. I walk in and said, do you have anything available for a one-way rental to Denver? He says, I got one car left. It’s a four-door sedan. I said, I’ll take it. And I got the keys in my hand. It’s a big four-door sedan. So I go back upstairs to the boarding area, and I announce, I shout, I have a car, and I’m driving to Denver. Does anybody want a ride? Well, a United flight attendant comes running up to me, and she said, do you have room for my friend? She’s also a flight attendant. I said, sure. That’s a big car. So she goes and comes back with her friend, and her friend says, do you have room for our pilot? And I said, yes, I’ve got room for all of you. So she comes back with a pilot, and we get in the car. The pilot’s sitting in the front seat with me, and the two ladies are sitting in the back. And as we’re driving along, it’s 570 miles from Omaha to Denver, and we’re listening. It’s just nonstop on the radio, and the girls are in tears, and they’re talking about the different flights, Well, you know, that was Sally’s flight. I wonder if she was working today. I hope she wasn’t on that flight. It was the most somber.
SPEAKER 19 :
Wow.
SPEAKER 03 :
John, it was about an eight-hour ride. It was the most somber eight hours I’ve ever had in my entire life. Wow. You know, driving back with two United flight attendants and a United pilot, wondering how many of their friends, if any, were on those various planes.
SPEAKER 18 :
I’m sure they were very grateful for the ride as well.
SPEAKER 03 :
They were. And, you know, they thanked me for few… And by the way, when I got back to Denver… I pulled up to the Avis rental car place, and the guy said, are you returning the car? And as I drove by, by the way, there were police and National Guardsmen at the entrance to the main terminal building with AR-15 or M-16 rifles, and you couldn’t drive up to where my car was. And the guy at Avis said, are you returning the car? I said, it depends. He said, well, what? I said, if you can get me to the parking garage in your shuttle bus, I will give you back this car. If not, I’m taking it home. So fortunately, they put me on the shuttle bus. I was able to get into the garage and retrieve my car and gave them the keys back. But that was my 9-11 day, which, by the way, was also my wife’s birthday, and today is also my wife’s birthday.
SPEAKER 18 :
Oh, happy birthday.
SPEAKER 03 :
Anyway. It’s awesome. Anyway, I’d like to go back to Charlie Kirkman. Yes. Virginia State Representative Nick Fretas, he’s got quite the following. Yes. And he’s got a very quick comment. on why Charlie Kirk was murdered. Can we play that?
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, let me get my sound up. Here we go.
SPEAKER 10 :
Let’s get one thing straight. They didn’t murder Charlie Kirk because he was an extremist or a fascist or a threat to democracy or inciting violence or any of the other reasons that they’re now trying to put out on X and TikTok and everywhere else. They murdered him because he was effective. He was effective. The man made incredible arguments while at the same time always trying to seek out common humanity. He might have disagreed with arguments, but he didn’t hate anyone. And they murdered him. That’s what happened.
SPEAKER 18 :
Mm-hmm. Yep, he’s correct too, Joe. He’s 100% correct. That’s exactly what happened.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s the most succinct summation that I’ve ever heard. They murdered him because he was effective.
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, and they don’t like that because, as you know, Joe, of all of the different people that would go in front of Charlie to debate him, rarely did anybody even match what he did. I don’t know anybody to ever beat him, but most people couldn’t even come close to matching him. Therein lies the problem, Joe.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, he was so effective and so powerful. And when you have to resort to violence or there’s the heckler’s veto, what you’re telling us is that you don’t have a righteous argument.
SPEAKER 18 :
Right.
SPEAKER 03 :
You’ve already lost.
SPEAKER 18 :
You can’t stand on your own two feet, so the only way to do that is eliminate the threat.
SPEAKER 03 :
Eliminate the threat. Shout them down, kill them, protest so they can’t come on stage and speak. That’s kind of the cancel culture we have in this country. particularly on college campuses, the cancel culture.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, right, right.
SPEAKER 03 :
Because they don’t want to hear it.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, no, and that is essentially, you know, Andy said it as well, you know, they killed him, they murdered him, they assassinated him because he won the debate.
SPEAKER 03 :
He won the debate, yep.
SPEAKER 18 :
That’s ultimately, Joe, what happened. If Andy were here, he would agree with me. He actually put that up on his own Facebook page yesterday, stole it, reposted it online because Andy’s exactly correct. They murdered him because he won the debate. They couldn’t. So as I said a moment ago, if you can’t, then just eliminate the threat altogether. Don’t have that conversation because you can’t win it.
SPEAKER 03 :
And unfortunately, it’s not just restricted to people like Charlie. Again, going back to that piece I read about the assassination culture. You know, they tried to kill Trump twice, and it’s unfortunate that there’s so much violence in this country.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, and unfortunately, Joe, not to be Debbie Downer, but I really—I don’t know what it’s going to take. Maybe that’s the way I should say it. I don’t know what it’s going to take for, you know, the Marxist movement to realize that they’re losing this battle. Unfortunately, Joe, as you know, when a particular entity— is realizing that they’re losing, that means they typically go and fight harder. I mean, most people don’t just turn around and run from the war. Even though they know they might lose the war, they fight till the bitter end, and they try to be as strong as they possibly can until then. And that’s what’s going to happen here. They’re not going away, is my point.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, they’re desperate, John. They’re desperate, and desperate people do crazy things. They take desperate measures.
SPEAKER 18 :
That’s right. Yeah, just like in wartime, and no, it’s not necessarily the same type of war, but trust me, folks, we’re at a war of ideals, right? of faith, I think even, Joe, you could throw that into there. The Marxist movement wanting there to be no faith. They want government to be the faith. We, on the other hand, have a totally different view on that. Those two views are at odds, and the reality is the Marxists want to win. It’s what they’ve tried to do over and over and over again throughout history, and they don’t want to let up now. They’ve worked on this country too hard, Joe, for, like Jim Paff said earlier, conservative caucus. They’ve been doing this for almost 100 years now in the United States of America. They do not want to let that go.
SPEAKER 03 :
They don’t. And, John, and the reason I think some people are so gullible, you know, to the lies that the left spews, I may have mentioned this when I was on with Andy. The Illinois State Board of Education came out with their results of their proficiency, student proficiency, high school proficiency. There were nearly 50, 50 Chicago schools, high schools that had zero students, zero. And, you know, your typical class size is between, what, 360? between 300 and 600 in a high school, if not more.
SPEAKER 18 :
Right, right.
SPEAKER 03 :
Can you imagine out of 600 high school students, not one tested proficient in math or reading? Wow. Not one.
SPEAKER 18 :
Wow, that’s sad.
SPEAKER 03 :
And their graduation rates, John, almost half of the schools had graduation rates less than 40%. Well, if you’re a high school dropout and you can’t, if somebody hands you a $5 bill for a $3.87 purchase and you can’t make change out of a $5 bill. Right, right. What are you going to do? How are you going to spend your life? You’re going to become a professional thug? You’re going to live on welfare? And I think that’s what’s happening, John. We’re breeding a generation of idiots.
SPEAKER 18 :
On purpose. That is part of the Marxist manifesto, Joe, as you know. I mean, at the end of the day, if they can create chaos, illiteracy, people that don’t even— I mean, it’s way easier, and you of all people would know this— It’s way easier to brainwash someone that has very low intellect that’s been by design. By the way, I’m not saying they have low IQ. I’m saying they’ve got low intellect because they’ve never been taught or made to think for themselves. Everything’s been done for them. It’s easy to brainwash those people.
SPEAKER 03 :
Right, and you inculcate them to become dependent. You create a culture of dependency. Yes, the government’s going to pay for my food. The government’s going to pay for my housing, everything. but I’m going to get a free bus pass. So you create a cultural dependency. And I mentioned this with Andy on Monday. Do you know that we have people have been living in Section 8 housing for two or three generations? It was supposed to be short term. Can you imagine 25 years in the same Section 8 housing?
SPEAKER 18 :
I can’t. No, Joe, because my mind can’t wrap around that.
SPEAKER 03 :
No. Now, the Trump administration, by the way, has proposed restricting Section 8 housing to subsidies to two years. But if, John, if we’re going to, if you’re going to buy somebody’s food and you’re going to pay their electric bill and you’re going to pay their, their, and by the way, they’re paying up to $3,800 a month for a four bedroom house.
SPEAKER 18 :
Wow.
SPEAKER 03 :
And that’s what section eight housing is paying is that’s what the Biden administration has done. So with that culture of dependency, why would anybody want to take an effort to improve themselves?
SPEAKER 18 :
There’s no incentive. There’s no incentive, Joe. Again, you’re training, you’re dumbing down. I mean, I’m not a psychologist. I never studied it. I know a little bit about it, but I do know that if you want to train animals, for example, Joe— You do certain things to them that make them dependent on you, reward, etc. There’s all sorts of ways to, I mean, it’s how you get animals to perform in Hollywood and other things and so on. They do things that they wouldn’t even naturally do because of that training. It’s no different for humans.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, and remember, I think it was Benjamin Franklin had the great poverty quote. Let me see if I can find it right here. And here’s Ben Franklin, and this was, what, 250 years ago. He said, I am all for doing good for the poor, but And, again, you take a, you know, we make being poor so comfortable, John. Yes, we do. you know, where’s the motivation to improve yourself?
SPEAKER 18 :
And, again, there isn’t any. There isn’t any. Joe, as always, I appreciate it. The time always goes by fast. Thanks for what you do for us.

All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Lots of text messages today and, of course, yesterday as well, and even through the night last night, which I appreciate. And a lot of you have been extremely kind in the things that you have said, and, again, I appreciate that greatly, and I mean that sincerely. So thank you, and continue to text anything that you’ve got, articles you find, things along those lines. Some of those I’ve even shared on air today, 307-200-HELP. 8222. Somebody texted in a moment ago and said, yeah, what you and Joe are talking about, don’t forget, this is a good versus evil battle that is also going on. You are correct. I said that yesterday, and that is spot on. That’s exactly what it is. And I was very straightforward yesterday in talking about Those individuals that would claim to be more moderate or, hey, I’m a Christian, but I believe in what the left stands for. And so I’m going to stand on that side of the aisle and this, that and the other. And I stated yesterday, I’m going to continue to hammer this even harder. How can you? How can you? How can you claim to be a Christian, love the Lord, want to serve him and do his will, and yet be on the side of evil? Because that’s what the Marxist movement is, folks. You can say all you want that it’s not, but it is. This is a challenge. To anybody that would be on that side that would disagree with me, go read what the Marxist manifesto is, what it stands for, and tell me I’m wrong. Tell me how you as a quote-unquote Christian could believe in anything the Marxist movement stands for. Now, you’re going to hear that, oh, you know, it’s all about being equal and everybody needs to be recognized equally and, and, and, and, you know, it’s loving and it’s this and it’s that and it’s all working to the good of the whole and on and on we go. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Not true. They win by dividing. They win by pitting one another, you know, people against each other is what I mean to say. They win by creating chaos. They win by dumbing down society. They win by keeping people poor and downtrodden. They’re not there to help anyone. They are there to control the masses. Let me give you another example. I haven’t talked a lot about this because this was a big deal for Dan when he was here, and he’s really the one that really even got me going on this. The wolf movement in Colorado, and bear with me, some of you are going to say, John, how are you going to go from talking about Marxism and what happened yesterday with Charlie Kirk to the wolves? Well, let me explain. The Marxists want everybody centralized as much as they can. You can’t control the masses when they’re spread out. The best way to control people is to have them squish together. That’s why they love, you know, Agenda 21. You know, let’s squeeze everybody together. Let’s have this high-density housing. Let’s eat, work, sleep, everything, all right where, you know, all in one place. You know, live, work, you know, dine out, everything, all within walking distance. Let’s make these cities walkable. Every time I see that word, I just want to throw up because that’s an Agenda 21 thing. being walkable. And by the way, those of you that are realtors, you’ll even put some of that stuff in your ads because there’s these walkable scores now that are out there that a lot of you put into your housing, into your listings and so on. And by the way, if you’re a conservative realtor listening to me right now, stop doing that. Stop talking about how walkable the score is for a house because frankly, people like me, I could care less. In fact, sometimes for me, that’s a turnoff. Because I know you’ve bought in to all that nonsense. So for me, I’m one of those where when realtors put that stuff out, that’s a turnoff. Because you’ve bought into that crap. Because Marxism wants everybody to be tight-knit, controlled, and so on. You can’t control people when we have suburbs. When you’ve got people living up in the mountains. When you’ve got them spread all around, you can’t control them. So, my belief… even on the reintroduction of wolves into the wild, for example, into Colorado, and the reason why you’re going to see more of it is because the more you can get the populace to feel like they shouldn’t be there in the first place, either because we’re going to disrupt the animals or by have fear of being there, the wolves might eat me, then you don’t go. You don’t move there. You don’t live there. Wilderness grows, by the way. Cities become more compact. And that’s exactly what the Marxist movement is all about. Let’s make the wilderness so scary that no one wants to go there. That’s the Marxist movement, folks. So the whole wolf reintroduction, even though it wasn’t put out this way on the ballot measure, that is in and of itself a Marxist move. 100%. Don’t let anybody tell you different because what I’m telling you is exactly the way a Marxist looks at it. You can’t control the masses if the masses are spread out. One of the key functions, one of the key ideals of Marxism is we want to control you. And we can’t do that if you’re spread all about. It’s why, by the way, even when it comes to transportation and things like that, they want you on mass transit. They want you in a bike lane. They want you walking. They want you in those ways to be that way. Because they can control you. I’m a firm believer they don’t even like high mileage, long distance EVs. You get an EV that’s got a 400 mile range, they hate that because you can now get away from them. They don’t like that. They want you in an EV that’s got a very short range. Nissan Leaf, 50, 60 miles. They don’t want you traveling. That is the Marxist movement in a nutshell. Roof Savers of Colorado coming up next. SPEAKER 09 :
We’ve often wondered, why would anyone who lives in Colorado not have solar? The government pays for most of it, and having solar installed on your home means no power bill. After you get solar, you can buy an electric vehicle and never get your oil changed or stop at a gas station again. Most of the solar tax credits and rebates end in just a few months. If you want to get solar or backup power to your home, you need to get a copy of your power bill to Allen Davis before September 15th to decide for yourself. Call Allen Davis at 303-378-7537. That’s 303-378-7537. The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 18 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. And several of you texting in articles and images of Charlie Kirk now on his way home back to Arizona to be with his family. I get it, it’s just his body, but you understand what I’m saying. And that’s being done via Air Force Two and J.D. Vance. Hats off to J.D. Vance, by the way. So in a lot of you talking about just how touching it is to see that happen and how sad it is. And yes, it is. No, no disagreement there whatsoever. It definitely is. And to have our vice president be that involved, I think that tells you the stature. that Charlie Kirk had, and all of the just absolute vile individuals that are out there celebrating his death. You know, let me just say this. For a lot of you that are out there that might even be listening to me that feel that way, be careful. Karma’s a bee, as they say. Be careful. What goes around comes around. And I wouldn’t wish anything on anybody, but be careful what you wish for is the old saying. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that throughout my business, you know, lifespan, throughout being on air here, in other areas of life. You know, there’s an old saying, and it’s very true. Be careful what you wish for because it might not always turn out the way you want. So all of these people that are out there celebrating the fact that Charlie Kirk was assassinated and who’s next? I’ve seen a lot of those, too. Who’s next? Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Ben Shapiro. I mean, on down the line we go. There’s that many vile individuals out there stating those sorts of things. And as I just said, be careful what you wish for. And I mean that because, you know, some of you and what you’re actually spewing out borderlines on assassination threats to the president, which the Secret Service doesn’t look too kindly on. So some of you, in fact, a lot of you are borderline right there right now. So I would be really careful about what I post. You may feel that way. I would tell you that my advice is keep your feelings to yourself. And that’s hard. That’s hard, by the way, for a Marxist to do, because they want everyone to know how they think, how they feel, and so on, because they want everybody else to feel and think the same way. Now, I also said, and I said this earlier in the program, and I believe this, a lot of these same individuals, they wouldn’t say that face-to-face. They’re cowards. They’ll say it online. They’ll say it in a video. They’re keyboard cowboys. But if you had an opportunity to sit and talk to them face-to-face, they would never say those things. Some would, because they’re absolute total nutjobs, but most wouldn’t. Dan and Blackhawk, you’re next.
SPEAKER 04 :
So it’s also in Galatians, John, it says, God is not mocked.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 04 :
A man reaps what he sows. That’s right.
SPEAKER 18 :
Whatever you reap, you’ll sow. Yep.
SPEAKER 04 :
And it may not be in this lifetime, and people don’t realize that, but, you know, the hereafter, whatever they’re sowing, they’re going to reap for all eternity.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, sorry, I didn’t say that right. Yeah, whatever you sow, you’ll reap. That’s exactly right.
SPEAKER 04 :
So, and it’s unfortunate that people are, they did that with, remember Oral Roberts? Because he was really come out against homosexuality and the gays. And they celebrated when he passed away.
SPEAKER 18 :
I forgot about that. Yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, they’re, so I don’t know, and this is what gets me, and hopefully the younger generation can realize it. Why are people being… shot at, persecuted at, or persecuted, and it’s because if they stand for God… I lost that last part.
SPEAKER 18 :
If they stand for God, what? I missed that. I’m sorry.
SPEAKER 04 :
If they stand for God, then they get persecuted or assassinated. And who’s behind it is what I was asking.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah. Well, and that’s the other thing I was going to caution. I’m glad you brought that up. The other thing I was going to caution folks on, especially until more things get shaken out. You know, Dan, lots of conspiracies floating around. Who actually did this? Who was involved? Was it just one guy? Is it multiple people? On and on we go. You know, it’s funny, Dan, how many people come out of the woodwork that are all of a sudden now gun and ballistic experts, where I read somebody today talking about how supposedly the rifle is a 30-06 Mauser Action rifle, and yet some people are in the ATF calls that a high-power rifle, which I would as well, by the way, and I’m a gun expert, you know, per se. I’m definitely not a novice by any means, and yet there’s people out on social media, on X, responding that, you know, no, they only consider a high-power rifle a .50 caliber or this, that, or the other. And it’s funny, Dan, what I’m getting at is everybody becomes a quote-unquote expert on things even though they’re not.
SPEAKER 04 :
No, I mean, a .270, which is lower caliber, so a .30-06, the first number is the caliber, and that’s the diameter of the bullet. And the second number, I think, is the year that it was made. I can’t remember. So it’s a .30 caliber. It’s a centerfire cartridge, which makes it high-powered. A .270, even a, you know, what was Trump? I can’t remember what caliber the guy used, but tried to assassinate Trump. I don’t think, I think it was a, I can’t remember if the FDA even said what it was.
SPEAKER 18 :
I’m not sure they ever did. Yeah, and you’re correct. It was adopted a long time ago. You know, the 06 refers to 1906, and the 30 is a .30 caliber. And for everybody listening, this is just a little lesson on calibers. And, again, knowing a little bit about guns that I do, the reason why a lot of high-powered snipers slash— hunting rifles are a 30 caliber is because it is the exact diameter that has the best long-term trajectory it shoots the flattest of most calibers they did enough testing over the years dan to realize that that’s why a 270 is slightly smaller than a 0.30 it’s 0.270 instead of So instead of a .30, it’s a .270. A 7mm is right at that .30 mark. Again, you can go through a lot of the high-power rifles, .308 and so on, and the reality is they’re all very, very close to that .30 because that is the optimal size for a bullet to travel flat and be most effective.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right, and then there’s different, and people don’t know this, different grains of bullets. There’s the ballistic coefficient that you come up with. That’s right. Depending on… You know, but we’re getting into technicalities here.
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, but the point being, Dan, is you and I can get into that. And there’s a lot of people on social media that think they know all about that and will comment on some of these things. And, oh, there’s no way that guy could make that shot with that rifle. I mean, these are people, Dan, that have absolutely no idea and probably never fired a gun in their life.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, do they know, was it a couple hundred yards?
SPEAKER 18 :
I think I read today it’s about 140 was all. So it’s actually not as far as most people were saying initially. And here’s my other thought. I was going to talk to this about Joe, but since you’re here, I’ll talk about it. I personally don’t think this individual was that good of a shot. I don’t think they were shooting for his neck. I think it was a head shot that somehow they pulled it, you know, it went low and to the right. I don’t think that was the intended target. He just got lucky another inch and it would have missed him completely. It was just a, in my opinion, a very lucky shot. So, no, was this person an expert marksman and proficient at this particular rifle? I would say no, he just got lucky, Dan.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right, because I’m not trying to boast, but I have gotten animals, and I don’t like doing it. I archery hunt, so I like getting close, because it lessens the margin of error. The longest shot I’ve made on an animal is 500 yards, and that’s a distance. But I had a bipod, and I was steady. and all the conditions had to be right. So, like you said, unfortunately, I wish the guy would have been off an inch, and we’d be talking about another assassination attempt. I just, you know, I was up in the mountains yesterday because it’s archery season, and I was hunting out of cell phone range. I got home, and my person who was staying with me for a little bit told me about it. I didn’t know anything about it.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m fortunate. Well, I’m glad you called in.
SPEAKER 18 :
You mentioned some things I was going to talk about today anyway, so you refreshed my memory and it worked out perfect. So I appreciate that. Thank you.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yep. So you have a good evening. You too, Dan.
SPEAKER 18 :
All right. I appreciate you, man, very much. No, I appreciate that. And I was going to mention those things anyway, so I appreciate Dan. Golden Eagle Financial coming up next. All right, Flesh Law, Kevin Flesh, no matter what your legal dilemma is, criminal, civil, whatever you need representation for, Kevin is there to help you. Just go to 303-806-8886.
SPEAKER 15 :
Here’s why you need personal injury attorney Kevin Flesch on your side. He understands the way the jury thinks. In the context of a personal injury case, you’ve been hurt by someone else’s negligence. The idea is that you’re going to try to recover so that you can get back to where you were just prior to that incident occurring. What that really means from a jurist’s perspective is that you’re going to be asking them to award you money. So when we talk about fairness, we’re talking about six people that you don’t know. Those six people view the evidence and make a unanimous decision that will decide what the fair value is. When you’re the one who’s hurt, you have a good idea of what you think it’s worth. The question is, can you persuade those other individuals whom you don’t know and were witnesses to believe that’s what the case is worth? Kevin Flesch understands the way the jury thinks. Call now for a free consultation. 303-806-8886
SPEAKER 18 :

SPEAKER 11 :
It’s time to leave your safe space. This is Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 18 :
And a lot of you asking if I’ve seen J.D. Vance carrying, you know, transporting the casket of Charlie Kirk. No, I’ve been on air talking to all of you. A lot of you are watching it live as we speak. And no, I have not. I have not been able to see that. So I appreciate that. all of you sending me some of the details of that, and a lot of you talking about the young people and some of your own kids and teenagers and how affected they have been by this. And, you know, that’s probably the good thing that comes out of this. Having them look at this and understand exactly what’s going on and why and realizing how screwed up this actually is and that this is not the way it’s supposed to be, that’s what we need to focus on in teaching the next generation that, yeah, we can do better than this. This isn’t how this is supposed to work. Tomorrow, Andy has three movies. We’ve got Light of the World. The Baltimore Ons, which I have no idea what that movie’s about. Morons, I guess. I don’t know. And The Long Walk. And then Hour 2, we’ll do our NFL picks like we do every year. And then the Hour 2 rental hour is going to be back to school, anything with school. And I realize that it’s been a somber week and that there’s been a lot going on, especially yesterday and even some into today and some of what I just got done talking about. We’re still going to have some fun tomorrow. And I’ll be quite honest with you. That’s exactly what Charlie Kirk would want. That I know enough of from listening and even interviewing him and so on. That’s what he would want, for us to continue on, live our Christian lives, live joyously, continue to do the things that we need to, to spread the word, spread the gospel, and do the things that we need to do in a very joyous fashion. So that’s what we’ll do tomorrow. This is Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
