President Trump kind of reversed course a little bit over the weekend, and he said, hey, release the files. It’s like Frau Frabissina from Austin Powers. Release the fembots! Somebody made an AI version of Frau Frabissina from the Austin Powers movies. She looks the part, doesn’t really sound like it, a British accent, but it still kind of fits. The Frau Frabissina, release the file. Let’s try again. Take two.

Well, it sounds like President Trump is telling Republicans, please do so. Get it over with. Let’s just get it all out there. We’ll let the chips fall where they may. And incidentally, somebody just posted, what’s his name, Cenk Uygur. Chink Uygur, he’s a big hero of the left, that big bombastic guy, he posted, there are two ways to look at Trump crumbling on the Epstein files. He was responsive to his base, who was starting to think he was full of crap, or now that they had months to scrub the blank out of those files, they don’t mind releasing the rest. Look, that’s what panic looks like, okay? They’re panicking. And I have a hunch this is going to backfire on the Democrats. And they’re already trying to line up their line of defense. Oh, the files have been scrubbed. I saw the Daily Beast. Trump with a humiliating reversal on Epstein. What’s humiliating about it? You wanted him to release the Epstein files. Now that he’s releasing the Epstein files, you say he’s being humiliated. Well, that’s… The whole point. It’s all just ginned up to hurt Trump. And these battles, these squabbles with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson. Trump was asked about Tucker, the whole big… And a lot has to do with Israel. Those of us who stand with Israel and support Israel, we’re put in a bad position here with people like Nick Fuentes and… Marjorie Taylor Greene. They don’t want American resources going to Israel. They want America first and America only. Here’s what President Trump said over the weekend when he was asked about Tucker Carlson interviewing Nick Fuentes.

Tucker Carlson recently had a friendly interview with anti-Semite Nick Fuentes. Tucker Carlson. What role do you think Tucker Carlson should play in the Republican Party, the conservative movement?

Well, I found him to be good. He said good things about me over the years. I think he’s good. We’ve had some good interviews. I did an interview with him. We had 300 million hits. You know that. Look, I can’t tell him. Will you let me finish my statement? You are the worst. You’re with Bloomberg, right? You are the worst. I don’t know why they even have you. We’ve had some great interviews with Tucker Carlson, but you can’t tell him who to interview. I mean, if he wants to interview Nick Fuentes, I don’t know much about him, but if he wants to do it, get the word out. Let him, you know, people have to decide. Ultimately, people have to decide.

I wonder what that feels like if you’re a reporter and the most powerful man in the world berates you like that. Your heart just has to sink. Would you be quiet? Who are you again? You’re from Bloomberg? You’re the worst. I don’t even know why they have you here. Can you imagine what that must feel like?

Democrats, of course, have been making a lot of noise about releasing the Epstein files, but this may be a case of be careful what you wish for.

Here’s Will Cain’s report yesterday on Fox News about this Democrat congresswoman. I think she’s technically called a delegate because she’s from the Virgin Islands. But check out his reporting on Stacey E. Plaskett.

On a morning of a hearing where the House was questioning Michael Cohen, Plaskett was communicating with Jeffrey Epstein. To be clear, this is years and years after he was convicted in 2008 of soliciting a minor. Plaskett was texting with Epstein that morning, the morning of the hearing that was aired on C-SPAN. She texted with Epstein. He’ll talk about his grades. Epstein responded, what privilege stands behind the non-release of college transcripts? He then says, great outfit. You look great. All caps. Plaskett replied, thanks. It goes on. At 1041 a.m., Epstein, ever the weirdo, texts her, are you chewing? Plaskett responds, not anymore. Chewing interiors of my mouth, bad habit from middle school. Then Epstein asks when Plaskett’s turn for questioning Cohen will come up. And she replies, ours. Go to other meetings. But then we get to the meeting. Then we get to her turn. Then we get to the questioning of Cohen. And Epstein tells her, Cohen brought up Rona, keeper of secrets. Plaskett doesn’t know who Rona is. You don’t know who Rona is. And Rona’s in all caps. So Plaskett responds at 2.25 p.m., Rona. Then she says, quick, I’m up next. Is that an acronym? Then finally, Epstein responds, that’s his assistant. Now, listen, this is all of how it played out on text exchange. Now I want to show you the video from a C-SPAN airing. These are time stamped. So is the C-SPAN time stamping of that congressional hearing. And you’ll see. Plaskett looked down at her phone as these texts come in and change her questioning, including not knowing the last name of Rona, who she ends up asking about to Cohen.

Mr. Weisenberg and other individuals, Ms. Rona. Who are those individuals? Ms. Rona, what is Ms. Rona’s business?

Rona Graf is Mr. Trump’s executive assistant.

And would she be able to corroborate many of the statements that you’ve made here?

Yes, her office is directly next to his, and she’s involved in a lot.

Timestamped, right there, in that moment, another text from Epstein. What does he tell Plaskett? Good job.

So Democrats aren’t talking about this. Epstein is coaching a Democrat on what to ask Michael Cohen, who’s testifying in an effort to take down Donald Trump. And remember, Epstein hated Trump. Trump knew what scum Epstein was. And as soon as Trump apparently became aware of of who Epstein really was, he cut him off, kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago, wanted nothing to do with him. And so here’s Plaskett, a member of the Democrat caucus, a member of Congress from the Virgin Islands, being coached in her questioning of a congressional witness by Jeffrey Epstein. Wonder why the Democrats aren’t making much out of that. Well, you know the answer to that. Because the whole Epstein Files issue has been weaponized. Now, I don’t know that Marjorie Taylor Greene has any desire to weaponize the Epstein Files. I just don’t. I’m a little leery of why she’s been questioning Trump on… the mass deportation and the immigration efforts. But doggone it, I’ve got this soft spot for Marjorie Taylor Greene in my heart. And maybe I’m wrong. Maybe you don’t see it that way. Somebody just sent a text, Marjorie Taylor Greene is a traitor, not to America, but to the Republican Party. Well, is she? Do you see her that way? Or do you see her as somebody frustrated? She wanted the Epstein files released on behalf of the victims. She stood there moments ago on Capitol Hill surrounded by Epstein victims. They see her, I believe, as a champion for their cause. They wanted the truth revealed. And, of course, President Trump has gone DEFCON 1 on her. because she has criticized a number of President Trump’s policies. I don’t think Marjorie Taylor Greene has any kind of agenda. I mean, what would the agenda be? She’s been with Trump all along. Now, perhaps she has been afflicted with TDS. We’ve seen Republicans go down this road before. They’re on board with Trump, and then they turn on him. Heck, people that work for Trump have been like this. John Kelly, John Bolton. Look at all these administration officials who turned on him viciously. Is that her story? Maybe. Or maybe she just sees a different way.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene staunchly supported President Trump through their public life in D.C. Is there anyone more MAGA than Greene? If nothing else, this week proved that even allies can disagree.

President Trump writes, it seemed to all begin when I sent her a poll stating that she should not run for senator or governor. She was at 12 percent, didn’t have a chance. Unless, of course, she had my endorsement, which she wasn’t about to get. She has told many people, President Trump wrote, that she’s upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore. But with 219 congressmen and women, 53 U.S. senators, 24 cabinet members, almost 200 countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I cannot take a ranting lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie. They are too fed up with her and her antics. If the right person runs, they will have my complete and unyielding support. She has gone far left, even doing the view with their low IQ Republican hating anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Make America great again. So here was our Salem colleague Scott Jennings on CNN explaining why President Trump has soured on Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

She opposed the president on his Middle East policy, attacking the Houthi rebels, attacking Iran. She’s opposed the president on deportations this summer. So she has sort of become a policy opponent of the president. But I think it really all started with that political engagement. And now she’s one of his most frequent critics on some of what I would argue has been his biggest successes this year. And If you want to count yourself as an ally of the President of the United States, it’s not great to go out and run out to The View and other places and crap on him 24 hours a day. I mean, that’s essentially what she’s become. It’s a well-worn path. A lot of other Republicans who’ve turned on the President have done that, too.
SPEAKER 11 :
And that, to me, is intriguing because this is what I hate. I cannot stand seeing Republicans who I like turn on the President and then it all goes off the rails. And now… There’s Congresswoman Greene on CNN claiming that she has become a victim of President Trump’s criticism.
SPEAKER 09 :
I have something in my heart that I think is incredibly important for our country, and that is to end the toxic fighting in politics. And this has been going on for years, and it has divided our country, split up friends and families, neighbors, and it’s not solving our problems. The most hurtful thing he said, which is absolutely untrue, is he called me a traitor. And that is… That is so extremely wrong. And those are the types of words used that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger.
SPEAKER 11 :
Now, I mentioned that to a friend of mine this morning, Mark Davis, and he said, you know, it’s one thing for a tough person. bird like Marjorie Taylor Greene to go up against the president, but then to run to CNN and complain about, you know, being a victim. Wah, wah, wah. Well, look, no one should be threatening anybody. Nobody should be, you know, wishing harm on any human being. That’s a tactic of the left. That’s what they do.

Another member of the Kennedy clan wants to run for public office. We’re still learning about Jack Schlossberg, but one thing is clear. A statesman, he is not.
SPEAKER 11 :
Let me share with you this article by Douglas Murray at the New York Post, because I think this is what we’re falling victim to. A very thoughtful analysis. First of all, he talks about Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy. He wishes to run for Congress in New York’s 12th congressional district. The most interesting thing about Schlossberg, writes Douglas Murray, is that something that came on the sidelines of an interview he gave… to the New York Times. They did a big puff piece, as you would expect, on Schlossberg. Schlossberg is 32 years old, and like a lot of people his age and younger, he’s tried to make a name for himself by being active online, including TikTok and Instagram. He picks fights with famous people, repeatedly insults a member of his own family, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., used the C word about women he doesn’t like, and did bizarre performances like skateboarding while reciting poetry. crap poster, and the word is not crap, you know what I mean. While presenting himself as zany and a little out there, he turns out to have all the predictable politics, which could make him the perfect candidate to replace Jerry Nadler. The bored Schlossberg even faked his own social media death to get the attention he so inexplicably craves. But there is some method in this fake madness, and Schlossberg has been unusually honest about it. The Internet is a nuanced destruction machine, he said. There’s no room for qualifying anything ever. He went on to describe his tactics, Murray writes. If somebody thinks I’m crazy because they saw one of my videos, that means they saw one of my videos, which means they got some information about the Trump administration and politics that they might not otherwise have gotten. Douglas Murray writes, funnily enough, there are a lot of people who think that way, even if they don’t admit it. It is not, in fact, true that the Internet is a nuance-free zone. There are lots of people who can read and write nuanced views online. But it’s also true that the algorithms and people’s simple finger movements favor opinions and content tending toward the extremes. And, you know, the Internet doesn’t have time for nuance, Douglas Murray writes often. There’s money to be made in having the first take on a provocative story. Sure enough, the most popular live stream after the JFK files release was one claiming in its headline that the Mossad had been found to be involved in JFK’s assassination. That was not true, of course. There was absolutely nothing in the files that suggested any such thing. But the claim drew attention, which in turn brought clicks, which in turn brings money. Everybody in the business of news knows that these incentives are there. For all the attacks that the mainstream media get, there are standards that the media generally stick to. For instance, we don’t run photos of the most gruesome scenes simply in the hope of getting people to slow down and click on them, like drivers do when passing a crash site. The old media still has some standards. But it’s true that social media have none. Consider all the podcasters and others who spent recent weeks spreading the most insane and offensive conspiracy theories, like Charlie Kirk was killed by his former colleagues, or even with the complicity of his wife. Who benefits from any such claims? Only one person, he writes. The person who has decided to make themselves that much richer by engaging in this dumpster behavior. People fall for it, of course, because the zanier the claim, the more people are tempted to click on it. You know, it’s a really good piece. Let’s post it, Tracy, at MikeOnline.com. I haven’t been able to get to every paragraph of the column, but it’s a headline, Can Jack Schlossberg Take Internet Trolling All the Way to Congress? And Douglas Murray concludes by saying… Yeah, he’s right with two important caveats. First is the fact that the preening, narcissistic void into which so many online personalities have fallen is something they can also get out of. There’s no reason you can’t pull yourself out. But the second thing is a lesson that some influencers may learn the hard way. The online world may have zero boundaries, but the real world still has some. And those two places still meet. Peer into your crystal ball. What happens next? Because I’m afraid you’re going to have, if we didn’t want any distractions, now you’re going to have a million and one distractions because everybody’s going to pour over the Epstein files and try to link people to nefarious activity.

Well, Democrats may be careful what they wish for here. I mean, what have we already learned just in the emails that have come out? We learned that Larry Summers, major Democrat economist, former president of Harvard, was soliciting romantic and dating advice from Jeffrey Epstein. He’s now having to take a step back from public life. We’ve learned that Epstein was, after becoming a convicted sex trafficker, was programming sex. programming with questions a Democrat member of Congress named Stacey Plaskett as she was working in a congressional hearing. And so, look, Democrats have wanted to try to make it seem like Donald Trump has done something wrong here. What we may find out is that people on the left and people in their party had a lot more contact with Jeffrey Epstein than Donald Trump ever did. All we know about Donald Trump is, is that he excommunicated Epstein from his life and so. We also know that Epstein had all these contacts with Democrats. So I guess at this point, fine, let’s put it all out. Let’s see what the truth is. But I think some Democrats are going to have some explaining to do. They have a member of their conference, Mike, right now, Stacey Plaskett, who was in contact with Epstein, who was telling her what to say, and she was then repeating it verbatim in a congressional hearing. Does that sound like somebody that should be in Congress today? I might argue that no, it does not.
SPEAKER 11 :
And the Democrats are oddly silent about that revelation, aren’t they, Scott? Hakeem Jeffries isn’t saying a whole lot about that. In fact, when he was asked about it yesterday, it was just gibberish. Look, you heard Chuck Schumer. This is one of the funniest clips. I’ve got to play this for you. Here’s Chuck Schumer. He was asked yesterday, why didn’t Joe Biden release the Epstein files? Biden had them for four years, and it was a very simple question. And here was Senator Schumer’s response.

Why wouldn’t they have been released the last four years when President Biden was in office?
SPEAKER 01 :
Well, that’s the question every American is asking. Not every American, but so many Americans are asking. What the hell is he hiding?
SPEAKER 11 :
I mean, Scott, I don’t know. Now, look, he probably he’s so consumed with hatred for Trump and he thinks the media is going to ask him. But when they ask him about Biden, I guess he defaults to thinking they’re asking about Trump or maybe he was blasting Biden. I don’t know. You decipher. Yeah.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, he well, first of all, Chuck Schumer is cooked. It’s the one result of the New York City mayor’s race that I think we can all agree on. He is cooked. His party is done with him. He’ll be out of office in twenty twenty eight. He’ll be out of leadership soon enough. That was a nonsensical answer, but it’s a great question. Biden had these files. They didn’t release them. And I don’t really have any recollection of too many, if any, members of Congress clamoring about this. When Joe Biden was in the White House, the truth is Trump is right when he uses the term hoax. It’s not that it didn’t happen. The hoax is Democrats trying to imply that Trump had something to do with it or that or to create a narrative that he was somehow complicit in it or did something untoward. There’s not a shred of evidence Donald Trump did anything. And I know that because if there was, we would already know about it. Democrats have had control of this information for years. And we’ve never seen anything. You can bet if Joe Biden and his people had anything on Donald Trump related to Epstein, it would have come out in 20. It would have come out in 2024. We’ve seen nothing. Now we’re seeing some evidence of Epstein contacts with Democrats. But look, they have been using this to try to tie down Donald Trump, to try to just distract him from what he should be talking about, which is, you know, the things he’s getting done for the American people. They did this to him in his first term. They just try to tie the guy up, run out the clock on a presidency. That’s all this is in my opinion.
SPEAKER 11 :
We all know what they’re doing. I call it the crap file. Every time the Republicans or Trump get a big win, then the Democrats pull something out of their crap file. And after the huge victory over the government shutdown, where the Republicans refused to blink, they did not cave, they beat Schumer, they beat Jeffries, they beat the Democrats, and then the Democrats said, ah, how about Epstein? Let’s pull Epstein out of the crap file, and let’s get that going here.

After politically progressive actor Rainn Wilson expressed sympathy for the family of Charlie Kirk, he was overrun by anger and hate from the left.
SPEAKER 11 :
I saw a clip of this actor from The Office. Remember, I think his name is Rainn Wilson. Rainn Wilson is a lefty, right? Doesn’t like Trump. Doesn’t agree with Republicans. Like most in Hollywood, not a big fan of conservatism. But he expressed condolences for Charlie Kirk’s family. Imagine getting hate because you were sympathetic to a young widow and their two young children after their beloved husband and father was assassinated. on a Utah college campus. But listen to this guy. He was on a podcast called Soul Boom. Here’s an actor, Rainn Wilson, revealing all the hate he got after expressing any kind of normal condolences for Charlie Kirk’s family and all of the hate, spoiler alert, all of the hate came from the left.
SPEAKER 06 :
If you go online right now, there’s nothing but hate. And I caught a lot for saying, Hey, it’s really sucks that Charlie Kirk was shot in front of his wife and kids. And actually that he was a courageous man because unlike 99% of people, he was going into quote unquote, hostile spaces, people that disagreed with him and having debate. Now I didn’t agree with most everything that came out of his mouth, but I, I got a lot of hate from the left for saying that. Again, it was another flashpoint, another touchpoint about, like, what if we just took a week or a month or a period of time to just love Charlie Kirk’s family? How much love and compassion could we bring to those kind of situations?
SPEAKER 11 :
You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about a terrible hypothetical. If a prominent leftist influencer was assassinated, And I keep thinking about how we would react to that. If anybody dared call this show and expressed any kind of jubilance or satisfaction over somebody being slaughtered for their political beliefs, you can only imagine how long it would take to hang up on that caller and tell them to go pound salt. But the truth is, we don’t act that way. The fact is, they do. Kristen Chenoweth is a Broadway star. She’s starring right now in a musical on Broadway about that lady and the husband that built the big house. I’ve got no desire to see it, but I think it’s called Queen of Versailles. She did the same thing as Rainn Wilson. She dared to express some sympathy. I saw what she posted. She just, like, reposted somebody who was sympathetic to Charlie’s family. Well, now they’re all mad at her. And the leftist, she said she was practically broken by the criticism she received for daring to express a modicum of sympathy for a young family having to grieve their husband and their father.

Senator Ted Cruz has the rumor mill buzzing about a possible presidential run in 2028. Some of his supporters aren’t so crazy about the idea.

Hi. Hi. My first time calling. Well, welcome. Thanks. Hey, listen, I voted for Ted Cruz multiple times. But when he started to post on X that accusing Tucker of being anti-Semitic and anti-American, no, I’m sorry, Senator, you’re anti-American. When you start to quell or squash the First Amendment, right, his freedom to speak or his freedom to interview, I’m sorry. Accusations like that, unacceptable. I mean, he is… Totally lost my vote. And I thought he was going to run for a Supreme Court nominee potentially in 2028 or maybe later. But that’s what I had high hopes for him. Now he has totally made me reconsider his position. I’m not voting for him as president, for one. And, you know, I knew I thought he was a constitutionalist. I am like in total shock and disgust. Over his comments. I really am. I know Tucker is controversial and he can say some things, but I really am very, very upset with him.
SPEAKER 11 :
I have to tell you, Sophia, that you make, I think, a tremendous point about watching the way a number of popular figures have gone DEFCON 1 over any kind of criticism or even questioning Israeli policy. It’s a remarkable thing to watch. I mean, Mark Levin is a friend. I’ve known him for years. Powerful ally of Israel, as am I. Look, I love Israel, and I proudly support and stand with Israel. But ultimately, we have to acknowledge that there are young people in particular and a lot of people in general who are questioning Israel. the resources that we devote to Israel. Now, I think every penny of it is worth it. I believe strongly in the geographic and the spiritual and the geopolitical alliance we have with Israel. It’s way just beyond politics. But my worry here, and correct me if you think I’m wrong, is that anybody who gives even the slightest pushback towards Israel is branded an anti-Semite. Now, that could be understandable because there’s no shortage of anti-Semitism going on in America and around the world, and it’s disgusting, and it’s scary, and it’s wrong, and it’s dangerous. But because you question… Israel, or question Bibi, or whatever, that doesn’t make you a bigot. That doesn’t make you a hater of the Jewish people. Let’s see what John in Atlanta has to say. Hey, John, welcome back.

Hey, Mike. You know, you just took the words out of my mouth, and I don’t think you could go any higher in my book until what you just said. And I’m so glad somebody with a voice like yours… still is able to admit, hey, it’s okay to have some questions on Israel. And I think a lot of major news networks don’t allow that. But when you get into now, Tucker, who isn’t employed by Fox or Megyn Kelly or certainly Charlie Kirk, he had some very interesting comments right before he was assassinated. Paul in Philly, it took four years for Reagan to reduce the misery index. This isn’t going to happen overnight. Hi, Mike. This is Diana from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Yes, ma’am. And, well, I do feel things are a little bit better because I’m in a very blue state with a lot of fraud. And my property taxes are going through the roof in Minneapolis here. It’s still hurting.
SPEAKER 11 :
It still hurts. Yeah, and I think you nailed it. You’re in a blue city, unfortunately. Look, Democrats never saw a tax increase they didn’t fall in love with. And they’re not particularly concerned. They claim they’re concerned about affordability, but they’re not. Speaking of Dallas, by the way, I mentioned Dallas. You know Waymo is coming to Dallas. I’m telling you it’s going to change your life. I’m so excited to hear that Waymo is expanding. Because when I was in Phoenix, I saw all these cars driving around without these driverless cars. They’re white Jaguars with big domes on the top. They look like big radar domes. Well, they’re Waymo. Waymo is like driverless Ubers. You got the app and you summon the car. I took Waymo all over Phoenix when I was there a couple months ago. I just wanted to just drive around. I made things up. I said, let me go to the drugstore. I’ll go to the CVS. I took a Waymo. Let me go over to In-N-Out. Get a burger at In-N-Out. That’s why I had to get back on PhD, by the way. Took the Waymo. Waymo pulls up to the hotel. You hop in the back of the car. It says, hello, Mike. It’s like Kit. Remember that car? Was that Knight Rider? It talks to you. And then it takes you wherever you want. And it keeps on. Well, Waymo is expanding. And they’re going to be now in Orlando. It’s coming to Miami, Orlando, Dallas. I know right now it’s in Phoenix and Los Angeles. And I hate it for Uber drivers. I hate it for taxi drivers. But it is the future. You’re going to be astounded at this Waymo experience. So check it out. And I’m not a paid endorser or anything. I should be. The way I love it. Waymo. And I don’t know if they use the same cars there. They use Jaguars. The white Jaguars in Phoenix. But my gosh, these cars, it’s crazy, and it’s efficient, and it’s cheap because you’re not having to pay for the labor of somebody driving the car. So you can get to the airport, you get from point A to point B. It’s amazing, this Waymo driverless vehicle. And I think Elon’s coming up with robo-taxis. It’s the future.
