SPEAKER 02 :
Joey Hudson in from Mike. Merry Christmas to you. Boy, I’m happy to be with you. Mike is starting his Christmas vacation and so going to take some time off. So it’s just you and me for the rest of the year. And boy, we’re going to have some fun over the next couple of weeks. A lot of breaking news today. We’re going to try to dive into it. Of course, you are the star of today’s show. I love to do free speech Friday when I sit in for Mike. So 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453 is how you join the conversation. You can text me on the MyPillow text line. Same number, 800-655-6453. Email me directly, joey at joeyhudson.com, but love to get your feedback. There’s a lot to cover. This is one of those days where you just have to kind of sift through it and decide what to prioritize because there is so much breaking news. Of course, authorities have now identified the shooting suspect. At the Brown University shooting, it happened last weekend, and we’re told that apparently he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a storage building that he had rented. We have the latest on this breaking story, and we’re finding out a lot more about this guy. And, of course, as you might imagine, we are learning that he should not be in our country. And, of course, the shooting in Reston, Virginia, as well, where the illegal was literally released from custody and the very next day murdered a legal American in that community. And this is just a prime example of why the work that President Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Noem, Tom Holman, that ICE is trying to round up these criminals and send them back to their home country because they’re wreaking havoc on so many of our communities. And I don’t get it. And maybe you can help me understand. Why people are defending them. Why the Democrats would want to hang their hat on that to defend these illegals. And I get it. America is a land of opportunity. I understand that. A lot of people want to come to our country for that opportunity. But we can be selective. We can pick and choose who we let into our country. And we should. We should only want the best and the brightest to come here, not the murderers, the rapists, the burglars, the robbers. And those who are already here because they came through Joe Biden’s border, the open-door policy, as quickly as we can round them up, we need to return them. 800-655-6453. Did you hear about the view yesterday? And, again, I know some of you, you think, I don’t want to hear about the view. And they do get under my skin. And I know they get under your skin as well. And I had a texter earlier say, Joey, I don’t care what the ladies on The View said. It doesn’t matter. But we do need to monitor them. We need to troll them like Donald Trump does. The president trolls them. They’re just not smart enough to understand it, I don’t think. Maybe they are. Because he gets under their skin as well. So here’s the latest. On yesterday’s show, Joey Behar went on a tirade against President Trump about the new presidential walk of fame. You’ve probably seen some photos of this, some coverage of it. And it’s in an area of the White House that only the president and people he invites are going to see it anyway. It’s not like it’s out in a public area. It’s a hallway that displays portraits of past presidents, each with a short written description beneath them. And that’s why the view is upset right now. The descriptions are kind of political. They’re unmistakably Trump. Evidently, the president must have written these, or at least he had some editorial control. Under Joe Biden’s portrait, Trump labeled him as Sleepy Joe. Of course, we know that’s a photo of an auto pin. And called him the worst president in American history. Under Barack Obama’s portrait, Trump described him as one of the most divisive political figures in American history. And he criticized Obamacare as highly ineffective and affordable. So what’s wrong with that? It is highly ineffective. And it is unaffordable. And he was divisive. Well, the ladies on The View, they just went nuts about this. Joy Behar, she said on her national show, when are they going to invoke the 25th Amendment? Does he have to run naked into the White House or what? Here’s Joey Behar in cut number three.
SPEAKER 13 :
I want to read what he says about Barack Obama because we love Barack Obama and it’s wrong of him. He writes and pretends he acts like this is real and true history. A community organizer, one-term senator from Illinois, and one of the most divisive political figures in American history. Why? Because he was black? No. Everything is about race with him, isn’t it? Well, it might also be the jealousy of how well he did for people that… Well, Obama lives rent-free in his head. For sure. For sure. He will never be the type of president President Obama was. He’s not going to win that Nobel Prize. But when are they going to invoke the 25th Amendment? Does he have to run naked into the White House or what? What is that amendment for if not for this? He’s doing this to trigger people.
SPEAKER 02 :
The 25th Amendment. Now, they think that the 25th Amendment should be used to remove Donald Trump from the Oval Office because of some… descriptions under photos. I mean, this is laughable. Did you ever hear them talk about the 25th Amendment when Joe Biden was sitting in that same office? That is a prime example of how the 25th Amendment should be used. Because we had a president under Joe Biden who had cognitive issues. There were times he appeared to not even know where he was. I mean, how many times did we see him being helped, escorted off of a stage because he didn’t know how to get off the stage? He didn’t know which direction to go. How many times did we see him literally air shaking hands with somebody who wasn’t even standing there? How many times do we see him flub his lines when he had a teleprompter right there in front of him and he could not even read that? That’s a situation when the 25th Amendment is used when the president is not capable of serving. Not because you don’t like what he says. Not because he’s making fun of your favorite president. And I think the most laughable part of that was when they were talking about, I think it was Sonny Hostin was saying that Barack Obama is living rent-free in Donald Trump’s mind. Guess who’s living rent-free in their minds? Donald Trump is living rent-free in Joey Behar’s mind, Sonny Hostin’s mind, that Whoopi Goldberg’s mind, all of them. And he trolls them. He does this stuff sometimes just to get them to respond. And they fall for it every time. That’s the funny part, is they’re talking about him, that he’s letting Barack Obama live rent-free in his mind when he’s doing the same to them. 800-655-6453. Do you think the 25th Amendment… should be used in a situation because a president is critical of a previous president? Now, look, granted, maybe it’s poor taste, but it certainly doesn’t render you incapable of serving the office that the American people have elected you to serve in. 800-655-6453. I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike.

Joey Hudson in for Mike today, 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453 is how you join the conversation. Email me directly, joey at joeyhudson.com, and your comments are welcome on the MyPillow text line. Always use promo code MikeG when you go to MyPillow.com. Texter says, Hey, Joey, I think most people only watch The View just to see what kind of stupid stuff those idiots are going to say. I think there’s some truth to that. Texter, play the view all you like. I just mute the radio during that part. Don’t mute the radio. We need to hear what these, as the previous Texter said, these idiots are saying. Texter says the view hags are not ladies. I guess I’ve been referring to them as the ladies on the view, haven’t I? Texter, call them what they are, the shrews on the spew. 800-655-6453. Your comments are welcome on the MyPillow text line as well. Colleen is in Illinois. Welcome. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show. Hi. How are you?
SPEAKER 09 :
Hello. It’s nice to see you. Thanks for filling in. The question is, What’s the problem with this? Where is it written that the president can’t have a sense of humor? Everybody talks about how funny he is. He’s done what is a typical Trumpian thing. It’s hilarious. And he loves to poke these leftists and watch them squeal like they do. It’s as predictable as day following night. And I just think he gets a charge out of it. And I know I do. I think it’s Funny as all get out.
SPEAKER 02 :
And Colleen, you bring up a good point. Why can’t the president have a sense of humor? Why can’t he poke fun at these folks? And yes, and what I think the funniest part about this whole thing is, Colleen, is they’re talking about how Barack Obama lives rent free in his head. Where does he live in their head?
SPEAKER 09 :
Right back at you.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah. I mean, he pokes them, and they respond every single time.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, but see, they lose sleep over it, and he doesn’t. He can’t be bothered.
SPEAKER 02 :
Good point. Good point. Hey, Merry Christmas to you, Colleen. Appreciate you listening. 800-655-6453. You know, yesterday’s show on The View was a blockbuster when it comes to Trump. They spent most of their time about Trump because what I was talking with you earlier about was Joey Behar. Well, Whoopi Goldberg got in on it, too. Here’s her theory on Trump. the Christmas bonuses that the president announced in his address this week, the warrior dividend that he called, the $1,776 check that goes into their account tomorrow, I think it is. According to Goldberg, she thinks that Trump is trying to literally bribe the military. She thinks that he is trying to bribe them so that if he needs them, and I don’t know what she thinks he’s going to need them for. I think probably what she was thinking and didn’t say is that if he wants to stay in office longer, that he will use the military to maintain the Oval Office, which is laughable. President Trump is not going to try that. But I think Goldberg believes that if he were to bribe the military, then they’re going to feel like they’re more loyal to him. Now, look, the military is already loyal to Donald Trump anyway. Look, take this for what it is. It’s $1,776 to show the military, hey, we appreciate what you do. And by the way, this is the beginning. There are other raises that will be coming from military all across the board because of Donald Trump. Back to the phones. Dean is in Illinois. Welcome, Dean. You’re on the Mike Gallagher show. Hey, Dean, you with us?
SPEAKER 12 :
Yes, sir.
SPEAKER 02 :
What’s on your mind?
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, I haven’t learned much about this presidential walk of fame. Yeah. Yeah, the presidential walk of fame.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, so what about it, Dean?
SPEAKER 12 :
Oh, I’m just curious. Does it go all the way back to George Washington and all the presidents, or is this just for—
SPEAKER 02 :
Good question, Dean, and I’m not absolutely sure. I mean, I’ve seen photos of it, and, I mean, it goes down this very long corridor between the West Wing and the White House. I don’t know if it has every president. I would imagine it does. We’ll check into that. We’ll find out for you, Dean. Appreciate your call. 800-655-6453. Bill is in Colorado. Welcome, Bill. Hi, Joey.
SPEAKER 11 :
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all your viewers out there. Look, I want to point out that I’m looking at something today where there are six dead people that may have ties, all of them, to Barack Obama. Barack Obama. We’ve got the Reiners who were going to have dinner.
SPEAKER 02 :
There’s been a lot, a lot of speculation on people who have been associated with Barack Obama. Cut you short there, Dean. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. I’m Joey Hudson. In for Mike today.
SPEAKER 10 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher Show. Sitting in for Mike today, here’s Joey Hudson.
SPEAKER 02 :
Welcome in. Joey Hudson in for Mike as Mike has started his Christmas holiday. I’m happy to be with you. 800-655-MIKE, 1-800-655-6453 is how you join the conversation. Your calls are welcome. You can also send me a quick note on the MyPillow text line. You can email me directly, joey at joeyhudson.com. Last night in Phoenix, Arizona, something important happened in conservative politics. And it wasn’t just another rally. This was a special moment at AmericaFest. And this is obviously the first AmericaFest since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, our friend, our conservative warrior. His wife, Erica Kirk, stepped onto the stage today. she stepped on as the new leader of TPUSA. Make no mistake, this wasn’t just a tribute speech to her husband. Yes, it was talking about his legacy, but it was also her speech, her declaration that This organization is going to move forward, and it’s going to do what she thinks Charlie would want them to do, and that’s continue the mission. It’s an important mission. She threw her support, interestingly enough. She made it very clear that she wants to see Vice President J.D. Vance become the next president of the United States. In cut number one, Erica Kirk tells the crowd that Turning Point USA will be fully engaged in helping Republicans keep the Congress in 2026 and, in her words, get Charlie Kirk’s friend J.D. Vance elected president. Here’s Erica Kirk.
SPEAKER 03 :
We’re going to ensure that President Trump has Congress for all four years. We are going to get my husband’s friend J.D. Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible.
SPEAKER 02 :
I mean, this is just a clear case of the torts being passed to new leadership. It’s not something any of us expected to be doing at this point. We all expected Charlie Kirk to be on that stage kicking off AmericaFest, where you have thousands of young conservatives there because they love their country. And look, if you’ve never been to a TPUSA conference, organization, event, you should try to go sometime. It doesn’t matter what your age is. There are older people there as well. If you feel like that there’s no hope for our country, when you attend one of these events and you see the young people, the thousands and thousands of young people show up for these events, you’re going to have a whole different idea. of the future of our country because we do have a lot of young conservatives out there who love our country, who love God, and they want to continue the work Now, it’s kind of interesting because Erica, she walked out, not to teleprompters or anything. Evidently, she had her speech on an iPad, and she had to ad-lib for a minute because I guess the iPad just went blank. In cut number line, she kind of looked out at the crowd and said, the enemy has thrown us some curveballs today. One of them is my entire speech being wiped out. Here’s Erica again.
SPEAKER 03 :
The enemy has thrown a lot of curveballs at us today and this week and the past three months. And one of them is the fact that my entire speech has been wiped because my iPad won’t even turn on. So that’s a fun technical difficulty that we can figure out. So we’re just going to wing it. We’re just going to wing it. I was going to share with you stats. I was going to share with you all the things that we have going on.
SPEAKER 02 :
And that was – she did wing it. She wung it very efficiently there. You know, Erica is just – she’s a beautiful young lady. She’s very articulate. And, yes, TPUSA is going to be a bit different. Without Charlie, but it’s in good hands with Erica Kirk. She went on to talk about the importance of maintaining a majority in the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate, and she pledged the full support behind President Trump. to be sure that he has that majority to be able to continue his mission next year. And that’s why 2026. And, look, we are going to take a few days over the next week or so. We’re going to celebrate Christmas with our families. We’re going to ring in the new year. But then come January 1st, actually, what if we say January 2nd? We’re going to be ready to go to work. Because we have to get started working for the midterms. We have to win. And look, all the odds are against us. Because typically, the ruling parties, they lose seats, in the House particularly. They lose Senate seats. And so the sitting president, in most cases, loses the midterms. Donald Trump has a way of doing things that are not supposed to be done, that are not supposed to be possible. He won. He came back and won last year. So if anybody… If a president can literally gain seats in the midterms, I think Donald Trump is the person to do that. And, of course, we have to be there to help him. We have to be there to support the president and to see that we maintain those majorities because it’s more important than ever. I mean, think about if President Trump does not have the votes to continue his mission, It’s going to be like we’re going to be lame ducks for the last two years of this term. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. It is Friday, and I love to do Free Speech Friday. Whatever’s on your mind. I’m all ears. Joey Hudson in for Mike today.

Breaking news today from… The Northeast, the authorities have identified the gunman behind Saturday’s mass shooting at Brown University. Evidently, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente is 48 years old, Portuguese national, former Brown University student. Law enforcement officials announced last night that Nevis Valente was found dead inside of a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire, from what investigators say was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Now, the discovery, of course, brings to an end this multi-state manhunt. It does not bring total closure, though. There’s so many questions that need to be answered. This guy… probably should not have been in our country. He evidently was troubled. But to take this long to find him with the technology that we have out there, I mean, think about January 6th and all the video cameras, all the footage, I mean, thousands and thousands of hours that the feds went through and just wrecked a lot of people’s lives because they were seen on a video entering the Capitol or leaving the Capitol or around the Capitol. And it took this long to determine who this guy was. Now, he’s also the suspect in another shooting death. The investigators now say that this same guy suspected of killing Dr. Nuno Lorreo, a 47-year-old nuclear physicist and director of MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center. He’s at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He’s about 50 miles away from Brown University. And authorities believe that this same guy drove over there murdered Dr. Lorio, they had some previous connection. Evidently, they attended school together years ago, and so they knew one another. But there’s just so many questions about this. And one of the most disturbing parts of this, and again, it’s too soon to really know for sure, but there’s a lot of questions about the campus security at Brown University, and maybe the lack thereof. And part of the blame is being laid at the feet of Rodney Chapman, who is Brown’s vice president for public safety and emergency management. In plain English, campus security probably failed in a big way that day on different levels. There are some uncomfortable questions that are going to need to be asked. There were failures in their response. There were failures in the systems. For example, the alert system evidently was delayed. Now, fortunately, this guy did not go to another building and start shooting in another building. He left the campus. But based on the information we have right now, because their alert notification did not signal the campus as quickly as it should have, there were students on other parts of the campus who were at risk. They didn’t know at the time that there was a shooting that had just occurred. But the big thing here, though, is back to this Rodney Chapman. We are getting information that he was a big supporter and was hired by Brown University to install DEI programs within the security system there. If you go back and you look at some of the previous training and some of his previous directives, He talked a lot about public messaging, training workshops, listening sessions, diversity action plans, and a lot of things that go back to that period of time that a lot of focus was placed on DEI. Some were saying that because of the response that we saw this past week, that it was obvious that the campus security was not ready for a shooting like this. That maybe, and this is speculation, that maybe they spent too much time on the DEI training and not enough time on actually how you respond to a real emergency. Again, there’ll be a lot of… A lot of speculation, and I hope that Brown University officials will truly spend some time looking into this. Now, another development in this is that Secretary Kristi Noem has announced a pause on immigrant visa, the lottery program that allowed the Brown shooter into the U.S. to begin with. Noem also said that she’s instructing U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to pause the entire visa program until it can be reviewed. In her statement, she said the Brown University shooter, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, entered the United States through the Diversity Lottery Immigrant Visa Program, known as the DV1, in 2017 and was granted a green card. This heinous individual should never have been allowed in our country, she said. She is pausing that program until they can take a total look at it and possibly revamp it, or maybe just cancel it altogether. We’ll see. 800-655-MIKE, 1-800-655-6453. I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike.
